Daily Morning Lesson: July 25, 2026

Part 1: Congress in Krasnoyarsk. From the Love of Man to the Love of the Creator. Lesson 5.

Reader: Okay, hello dear friends, the topic that will accompany us throughout the Shabbat is love and living in the friend's desire. Love means living in the friend's desire. This topic of love, we will engage in it this week for the upcoming 15th of Av, the festival of love that we will celebrate this week, and we want to engage in it all week. And here we would like to strengthen more and more the love between us and between us and the Creator, because we have nothing more than love. And we will engage in this topic also today in the morning lesson and also in the noon lesson, and also in the meals and in the Yeshivat Haverim on Sunday. And in a moment, we will watch a special lesson by Rav in the Krasnoyarsk Congress, lesson number five, whose topic was from the love of people to the love of the Creator.

Afterwards, we will continue together to deep workshops. We will want to scrutinize together how do we come out of ourselves, out of our self-concern to the success of all of the friends. How do we begin to live inside the desire of each and every one of my friends in the Ten? What do we ask for, for each friend? And what practical rule we can take upon ourselves during the week? But a moment before we start and dive into the lesson itself, we want to hear two of our dear friends from the Krasnoyarsk group, Heritz and Shasa, that took part in this special Congress in 2013. They will share with us their impression from this special Congress, from the great connection that was there, which is still flowing in them from the spirit of the group, the greatness of Rav. Let's enter their heart. Let's start exercising already how to live in the desire of the friends.

So, please, let's hear you, friends.

Thank you. This was a very special Congress. We gathered together on the territory of a camp. For three days, we didn't part, and lived in these little buildings, and conducted lessons and meals. We put together like a sukkah on the football field.

There was a cloud above us, but there was no rain. Actually, there was rain in the beginning, and this roof started bending in, and we all jumped out and started to try to remove the water, and within 20 minutes, we were able to get rid of everything and clean up. Huge inspiration from this action.

There was something similar in Arava when there was a flood. But the inspiration was humongous when we were together sitting at the meal with Rav, and Rav said, let's come back to this place. And this place, a gathering of these warm hearts, this Siberian Kli, not just Siberian Kli, the entire world Kli entered this from the whole planet, friends, plugged into it.

It was so warm, it was so homey, it felt like at home, and it influenced everything. Not just the entire region, but the whole world Kli, because we had the kids here, and dissemination, and we remembered our happy childhood, and when our teacher came here, this was truly a fire. And there were a couple of people that got married, five guys got married, and their kids will have bar mitzvahs actually very soon.

Reader: Congratulations. I also remember this Congress. I think we all remember this special Congress. It truly evoked envy in those who weren't physically in that place. Even though we watched it, we connected to it, but it was truly envy. So let's connect to this special time. So let's together now enter, after the friends opened our ears and hearts, let's enter lesson number five from the June 14, 2013, Krasnoyarsk’s Congress, lesson number five, From the Love of Man to the Love of the Creator. Please.

M. Laitman: (05:13) The topic of the lesson is from love of friends to love of the Creator. And in principle, this is towards the quality of bestowal towards the Creator. That's the most important goal. It's really the only goal. Everything else is just like a means to attain this goal, to resolve this. And love towards the feeling of bestowal means to always exist in it, always with a desire to always strive for it, towards this quality as much as possible, towards this quality of bestowal. To love it as much as we love, as we love things unconsciously, just instinctively to receive, to feel everything in us. Because I constantly just feel what I need automatically, like the way we sit in the most optimal position. In every situation, how we choose things to be in a maximum pleasure, to expend the least amount of energy, because that's how we're programmed, and that's our body, every cell works like this. How can we come to such a state, except that it's completely opposite, so this quality of bestowal would give us the same kind of pleasure that we would automatically choose. How can I maximally give, to bestow, to give pleasure, as to someone that I love very much, and I'm always focused on them. And I just want to short-circuit towards them, like a mother towards her baby, and holds the baby, and always thinking, what else can I give him? What else does he need? As you can see her, as she's always looking at him, and she's trembling, and she's always as if inside him. How can we be in such a state towards the quality of bestowal, towards love, toward everyone? No matter how we try to convince ourselves that it's us, that it's actually my soul.

And I just imagine it this way as if all these are existing around me, and I call them, is this like without a gender, is it all these existing beings. Because it's not felt around me as something that's necessary or needed by me, but this quality of bestowal is something completely unqualified, unmeasured, unrecognizable. And this quality of bestowal is without a body, you can't sense it in any way, but only in someone that can carry it, a carrier, but who's the carrier? It's us. So, how can we express it? How can we start to feel that by bestowing, giving to another, I actually receive pleasure, I am fulfilled with the greatest fulfillment, and each time when I give, I am fulfilled.

If we unconditionally would feel these kinds of sensations in bestowal then we would, of course we'd be giving, we would always be giving, and then we would be giving in order to receive. So then this would be like a camouflaged egoism that we're still receiving, and nothing new would be experienced in this, we would never come out of ourselves. People give in their life all the time in order to get more pleasure, we see that we earn a lot. Then we could turn all that labor, investment into some kind of other fulfillment, pleasures, conveniences, comforts.

M. Laitman: (09:40) How can we rise above so the bestowal would not be egoistic, so the action itself would be within others, and the pleasure is actually felt from within others, but not within myself, not within my ego or my desires? And then it's like when I transplant myself into the others. Is that possible? No, that's not possible. With the help of our nature, we can't reach anything like this. So what we need is actually the participation of this upper force, this upper force of bestowal in giving that's separate from our ego. It's the upper force, it's called the Creator. So this force would help us tear away from ourselves and start to feel both the cause and the result and the fulfillment and everything externally to myself. And what's left of me is just me and my tiny little Reshimo. And the rest of my ego is not fulfilled, it remains empty, and what's active on it is the first restriction. And so the desires are not fulfilled, and I need to completely give up to feel this pleasure within myself and transfer this to such a feeling that I feel it within others, so others will become mine. I don't want to kind of be all over the place, because I don't want to scare a person that starts to understand how much is actually, how much, how far this is from him, and this weakens a person in general.

So in order to attain this force, this quality to be similar to the Creator so only bestowal, and only exist in it, this absolute force of bestowal without any relation even back to itself. So for that we're given a group, and we need to discuss it, we need to experience it, sense it, to experiment all the possible opportunities, and combinations, and see that we can’t convince ourselves that we can't, and still to just bite into each other. Such that all like these ugly faces in front of me are completely irrelevant to me, but still, even though many of them seem rejecting to me, and that's how it will be, but still I still desire to give to them, and within them to feel my happiness and this result, only within them. And to that extent I will hate them even more, and I will feel how truly opposite it is of my ego to work for another; and that he would be ahead of me, and I would be happy for his success, for his joy.

And only in that, completely tearing away, separating from my own self, and to more and more feel that I should be more obligated, to truly feel it within him, my joy, my fulfillment in him, everything for the sake of him. This is not possible to do alone. In front of me there must be these bright examples of my friends that are doing, to show me they're doing exactly the same, and we're all in this attack against ourselves, and we only see the other as the object, and the result of our actions of bestowal.

M. Laitman: (14:34) The point of our work that's concentrated, where our attention, it's specifically in that where I feel, in whom I feel my fulfillment, my own fulfillment, in myself or in the other. Do I enter the other and do I really try with my actions, try to evoke contentment, fulfillment in him and truly feel how he is experiencing this pleasure. And from that feel joy and from that be fulfilled. All the time to control myself; I'm trying to do this. When a person is trying all the time in this work, in this self-control, this tension, this concentration in my friends, I'm trying to feel happiness. My happiness is happiness from feeling that they are happy, that I evoked it.

I'm proud that I evoke this fulfillment in them. I'm proud that they're happy with the result of my intention, my work. That I can be proud of because that is the quality of bestowal. I can be happy from it because it's not for the sake of myself. I must act such that I can live in them. If I can in this way concentrate my work and all the time to exit myself, all the time to enter into them all the time to transpose myself into them and I feel the joy that I am left alone, that my egoistic desires are left alone and all of it's transferred into them, that's meant by building this external Kli or this reflected light.

Then as a result, I start to feel in them this property of bestowal because actually it's me that's creating it. With that I create the Creator. That's what it says, that we create Him, we build Him. In other words, we reveal this common quality in our efforts that are combined in others. Then when gradually I transfer from myself all of my egoism into others and I am as if completely emptied it and I moved it into the others and I reached this measure of Se'ah.

This is like a measure, a unit, an ancient unit of like produce, for example, Se'ah. When I complete this transfer from everything that I wanted to…I thought I would get the desire to feel fulfillment in them and then I get more pleasure that I feel that they're enjoying it. As it says, that with you, your heart will be in joy. And with that, I start to feel the first level, the first spiritual degree.

When I merge with this quality of bestowal, when it's completed in this measure of Se'ah that I was able to move, and then in that I feel the quality of bestowal, this integral quality that's combined from all of my efforts. This is ten attempts, we could say, even though we can't really count them, don't know how to count them, but let's say they all divide into tens and hundreds and thousands from my efforts.

M. Laitman: (19:14) And then you start to feel this quality of bestowal, this general quality that you evoked yourself- awakened. And when it becomes integrated, it becomes this one general common quality and in that you start to feel His independent existence, that is what's called the Creator.

This quality, well, it existed before initially and from that you start to receive understanding that it created you and all of your egoism it created and as you start to collect it all and work on it in others or transferring yourself into others, you start to discover the spiritual vessel in others and your own ego you left empty and restricted in the first restriction. And this quality is called the Creator. That's why it says from love of friends to love of the Creator. And this is our entire method, nothing else except this one specific action by transferring yourself into the friends.

When you discover that you transferred into this common force of bestowal- force of the Creator but in that you discover a new dimension, a new world, the upper world that exists on this quality of bestowal and it doesn't change, never changing- It's constantly, infinitely, eternally, and you feel yourself inside it and if that's what would end we would remain in this eternal state and we would feel that we exist in it practically from being separate from our body.

Because our body, body means our desire, well that's what it is, a body. We don't associate ourselves with anything except just with a desire. So people that feel empty in our world, they end with like a suicide because they're completely empty, so they don't feel there's anything else that exists.

Next. But the problem is that this is only one little part of our egoism, this desire of this external force of the Creator, of this force of bestowal is that it needs to be completely attained. And with that we're given additional new egoism each time that are of a completely new quality that's not like earthly from the first degree that we needed to get up from, but now of spiritual egoism, and this is called Klipa.

And in it we start to feel already spiritual obstacles, serious spiritual obstacles. And from that we start to feel an opposite spiritual world that's egoistic. And we have to still continue, even with that, to continue with our friends, but now I understand and I often forget and then I remember and then I forget and remember again, that this principle exists as on the first degree but my desires now are much more egoistic.

Now I see them much deeper and I see myself much deeper, that I am rejecting or accepting and this battle starts to become much more qualitative. And I still need to continue and still transfer myself into the friends. To feel myself in them, from within them, feel the joy and happiness and close myself from any other different consequences from, as if my good actions towards them and always invest into them. And I sense that it's my soul that I'm attaining, having completed this first degree.

And then this disappears and once again I feel, why? This is not my soul who are all these ugly faces in front of me and again I feel rejected from them and I feel far and at first on the first degree, I thought they didn't care so much.

Sometimes they were pleasant, but now I'm starting to feel hatred and I feel rejection in all their actions, all their words, all of it. All their words are just full of lies, all their actions are just all just to show off for something. And everything they do, it's just, it's just some theater.

M. Laitman: (24:59) So, I get all kinds of huge, very serious these doubts, and they’re so deep that are true, real, and that are justified in my rational thinking. And here it starts- it becomes much more difficult than on the first degree, because that starts to seem like kindergarten. Oh, we used to play together, you know, and then like in the morning today we did some fitness, you know we played on the grass. But now I see, I see through them, I see their lies, and I see how confident, self-confident they are. But this I see this whole egoism from them, and against all of it I should rise above, against it all.

To find all kinds of opportunities to still act towards their benefit, to feel benefit that I am helping them, that they're successful in something that they're happy that they're in joy. And I see my success in how much they're fulfilled from me, or from others, and all of a sudden to me it becomes irrelevant, actually, the main thing is that they're fulfilled.

If on the first degree I was happy that, oh, it's me, I'm fulfilling them, but I had some kind of relation to myself, but now, no. Now I can do all kinds of actions, and maybe through others, somehow, through others I’ll still fulfill them.

It doesn't matter, as long as it fills them so I can be even more further separated from my labor from them, but it doesn't matter. The main thing is that they get fulfillment, and they get pleasure, and even from that, even if they look at me somehow suspiciously, and they don't want to be connected with me, they don't approve of me, they see me as some kind of, I'm somehow retarded, or egoistic, but I don't care, as long as it's good for them.

Do you see how many amazing, contradicting obstacles are here. But do you see that it's all, the Creator does it with such masterful craftsmanship to a person. And if a person can close his eyes, like just truly close, just really close his eyes really hard, and not look inside himself, his egoism, into his heart, into his reason, and still continue to act like an idiot, then he wins, because that is faith above reason.

Meaning, I accept your game he must say to the Creator. In other words, You are playing with me, and I accept this game, and I will play it. I am playing it, I am against you. Like who is against me? The Creator, or my egoism, the same thing. There's None Else Besides Him. He's the only one, He's the only one playing with me, and putting all these obstacles in front of me.

But for me, once again this point of decision, it's most important is in whom do I, do I get fulfillment, in others, or in myself. And this is how we gradually work with friends, in the group, and discover in this work, the Creator.

If I will continue then it will just repeat again, the same words, because we don't have many words to express these actions, even though they're qualitatively very different, and very, very diverse. There's such a huge palette here of feelings that exist in our world. And our dictionary can't translate this.

M. Laitman: (29:50) Can you imagine that we go 125 degrees? And this is an infinite amount of tiny actions, and each action is completely unique and new, but it's expressed as one word, for example: happiness, or sadness, or anger, or jealousy, or it doesn't matter. We can take a few dozen of these words, but they're all the same from one degree to the other, from 125 degrees.

So Kabbalists graduate all this into numbers, which is like the coarseness of egoism, or the height of the degrees of attainment, and so on. They know what they're talking about so if I give some coordinates they know, because within themselves they can find this, like, just like one musician to another musician. They could say the note, and within them they can sense this note.

Those that didn't study this musical theory, they don't sense it, but they do, they understand each other, like Kabbalists. So I hope we also, instead of the words and our feelings, we'll start to mark our feelings with Kabbalistic terms. And with that sense each other, and unite together. And from this unification- which we don't have in this world. We think that in this world we unite with the friends, because we go into each other, but we don't have this force of bestowal, because we're similar to these animals.

We sense something that's somewhat similar, but it's not real, it's not possible. But when we try to connect on this force of bestowal, something amazing happens. We don't feel it within ourselves, but we feel it in our common unification, that's where the symphony plays, it's one for all. And by uniting, we feel the sensation that everyone else feels, even though everyone feels it also within themselves.

We can't really understand this yet, this duality, this duality of spiritual perception, but that's what it is. Why was I saying all of this? Without the group, it's not possible to realize even one spiritual action. A group doesn't mean that we're just sitting here together. A group is that which realizes that which I just tried to express for you. That's why Kabbalists spend so much time and attention towards creation of the group.

Rabash writes, love towards your friend is only possible by self-nullification. On one hand, one person needs to nullify themselves, and on the other hand, needs to be proud of the fact that the Creator gave us an opportunity, that we were able to unify in a group, where each one of us has just one goal, for the Shechina to be between us. Shechina is this common quality of bestowal- for it to connect, to fill the space between us, all the space.

It turns out that the ego is behind each one of us, behind our backs, and before us is the quality of this common quality of bestowal that connects in a circle, and within it we feel this common quality of bestowal- nature, within this highest force of nature  is the quality of bestowal.

M. Laitman: (34:51) That's why a society is to be composed of individuals, that are united by one opinion to attain this common quality of bestowal. Then from each individual, from all the individuals, this common force is created. And through this, this force is based on a desire that each person contains, and through that they're able to attain the goal.

Through unification you receive the desire of everyone else, but only when you desire to be within them, as related to a person that you love. Because their desires command our desires, and that's why I have a dual desire, I have a strong opportunity to move forward. So, when I gather together with all of my ten friends, and each one of them is penetrated by the desires of others, then I don't receive through the nine their desires, but the sum that each one has gathered from the rest within themselves, into themselves. You understand what kind of force there is from this one desire?

So, you have these nine people, and within each one of them there are also nine, but it's not a quantitative, it's a qualitative desire. It's hard to express this through quantity; in Kabbalah it's not done that way. You can't really determine quantity in the spiritual, even though we sort of do this, the thickness of a desire, the different levels, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, but it's not really quantitative, it's more qualitative. Because the jump from a level to level always happens through qualitative levels. So, each degree is done through quality, the way you can't compare a plant with a stone, there is a completely different level of existence, same here.

As soon as we connect together, unite together, qualitatively, we feel a completely transparent, we feel ourselves transparent. And this force of bestowal that fills us it determines everything, it controls everything. We start to feel ourselves, our egoism as something that is just floating in this huge quality of bestowal that controls us, directs us, connects us, unites us, and I only need to put in a small effort, and to feel contentment. This is what I wanted to  to you, and as a way to aim you forward, I have lots of materials here in front of me, but that's basically it. That will just dilute what I relay to you. From all of this comes all of our group laws and rules. How we need to unite into a virtual group or a spiritual group, how we need to connect between one another, conduct our gatherings, everything comes out of this. The most important thing is for everything to be aimed at maintaining this between us.

Everyone needs to have an opportunity to be able to come out of themselves and to enter others from his point in the heart and leave his ego somewhere else and forget about it. And that's basically it. Questions, perhaps?

Question (W MAK): (40:15) Can you say that those 99% that these are people that are external, we count these as people without a point in the heart. When you work with such people and you feel that they're happy with your actions, regardless of what they are, and you feel that you are giving them this contentment, can you take these feelings and also consider them spiritual work?

M. Laitman: Basically, when I transition from within myself into others, I don't truly enter them. I transition my point of the heart into a desire that's called my soul. Everything that's outside of me, external to me, in the form of 7 billion people, that is called my soul. It's one unified desire. If I completely reveal it for myself, then I'll completely be able to obtain a full correction, a revelation of my soul, and that which will fill it will be called the Creator in its entirety. Endless, eternal. So, my task is to exit from within myself into others, and I will actually be able to feel, to sense everyone that exists. It's unbelievable, actually, to understand this within our state.

Student: I don't mean 7 billion. I don't mean 7 billion. I mean any group, and you feel them.

M. Laitman: Okay. So, in order to give us an opportunity, a tool, skills, skills to be able to work, to exit into others, for that I need the group. A group is this initial tool. In the Kabbalistic language, this is called Galgalta ve Eynaim. You learned this, right? You look at me as if I don't know if you know. Someone say. And others didn't finish MAK, that don't know. Okay, now I see. Including Dr. Vlad. Okay. So, intro to Kabbalah, everyone needs to study that. All MAK needs to study that, otherwise, we won't be able to talk in the common language. But while you study, you'll be able to discover that which you attain. You'll have names for these phenomena. Oh, I see, this is called that, and this is called this. You'll be able to connect the knowledge that is within you with that which appears before you from the spiritual perception. So, we need to attain a unification with the entire humanity. To exit ourselves into everyone else. And in order to do that, for that, we need to organize, first of all, our Kli, our own Kli, our own tool, in order to prepare it for the work with the entire humanity. For that, a Kabbalistic group exists, and Kabbalah is given to us for that reason. And we must master this work within the group, and then from the group to go towards others. The main work is not in the group. The main work is with the help of the group to work with others.

There, you'll reveal the way, that I’ll realize that I know very little, and everything will slowly start to turn faster and faster, and there you'll see these huge worlds that will be revealed, filled with the light of Hochma, with the attainment of the Creator, with the depth of the Creator. That which we attain within the group, we only attain the tools for the work with the Creator.

M. Laitman: (45:17) Even though with His help we begin to little by little understand, to perceive, but it's just externally, because in our world group we are working through the desire to bestow. Galgalta ve Eynaim, this quality of bestowal, these are just small egoistic qualities of the base, and the first, and the second, and the third stages of the ego. When we start to work from our common world group towards the world, common world Kli, then we'll be working with huge egoistic desires that cannot be revealed right now, because their desire, egoistic desires are much larger, they're larger than us, which is why they're so much further from spiritual attainment. It seems to you that all of these Europeans, all these Aboriginals, Africans, there are these huge masses that seemingly are so thick that you can't get to them, but you can get through to them, because they have huge egoistic, spiritual egoism. When we will start to work with them, and work towards them, to connect their huge desires to us in order to fill them, to bring them joy, then over there we'll not simply attain the actions of bestowal, but the quality of bestowal itself will attain the depth of the quality of bestowal of the Creator.

What can I compare this with? Let's say there are people that listen to music, and they simply receive joy from it, like I remember going to the symphony in St.Petersburg, and I'm not a professional, but I used to enjoy it. Very often I ended up talking to professional musicians, and I asked them to tell me in a couple of words, to not simply tell me about all these different compositions, but to tell me how they perceive.

And it's a completely different world, a different sensation, which includes the technical aspect and the creative aspect, when they feel all those things, when they understand and feel the depth of the meaning of the composition. It's a completely different feeling. You get accustomed, you get to know this feeling. When you enter this feeling, when you become it, then that's why we have this task, to correct the entire humanity, as the most deepest attainment of the Creator, which is equivalent to complete adhesion with Him.

Student: Well, now I have a bit more grounded question, it's about working in the groups. So to feel the pleasure within a friend, well, let's assume, I see from my perspective, a person has some kind of deficiency, lack, and in this moment, when this person expresses this lack, and to the extent that I feel it, that I feel this lack, from that I should feel pleasure, that the person has lack? Because the person is actually getting pleasure from showing lack.

M. Laitman: (49:39) No, what do you mean? What are these mutations you're talking about? How can this be?

Student: Well, let's say a person loves to dominate completely egoistically, so in group he is just completely very enthusiastic of controlling everything.

M. Laitman: This would be someone close to you. Would you get pleasure from how he behaves?

Student: I would warn him. Well, I don't have a right to give a warning to a friend like that, right?

M. Laitman: You need to make it so that he would indirectly understand that for him, and for others, it would be better for him to act in a different way, but not directly, not pointedly. If he truly harms, that he destroys the group, if he brings into the group foreign thoughts, foreign ideas, if he begins to proclaim a new path towards something, then he has no place in the group. Then it's a short conversation. There are only two reasons to expel someone from the group. It is when he goes against our common direction, our sources, or our leader, because then you can't work. You either go one way or the other. It needs to be determined which way. Or he goes against the common flow of the group direction, or he destroys its unity. Destroying the unity or disturbing the unity, it could be, let's say, the worst is when that person destroys families, causes division. And I categorically warn you that this cannot happen. You can do anything, but family of a friend is holy. Not because there's some lofty reasons for this, but because the family is the initial point of a corrected society, and there are no excuses for this.

So either a friend has wandered towards another teacher, or he decided to acquire a different wife, a wife of a friend. Nothing else interests us. These two things harm our advancement forward, because family is this initial basic unit of the group, and also our ideology is the vector, the direction of the group. I am speaking in this way, but these are actually spiritual reasons that I'm expressing in this way. I don't want to really talk about them, just keep in mind that if these things exist, you need to cut them out. Without questions about this, no discussions, this doesn't lend itself to any conversation at all.

Question (Perm): (53:38) Sergey from the Perm group. Lately, often I'm starting to remember my youth. I'm probably getting old, and I start to remember all kinds of happenings in the past that completely make me despise myself.

M. Laitman: It's a non-phenomenon.

Student: Yes, and I'm ashamed of what I did back then, so how could I take this shame?

M. Laitman: Oh, what did you do? No shame. The Creator was doing this on your behalf, so that you understand that it was Him, not you.

Student: But can I relate it somehow to now?

M. Laitman: In other words you must, you must recognize, realize that this is all in the past, that the Creator did this with you. There's None Else Besides Him, and that's enough, so stop eating yourself. If you blame yourself for the past, then you're actually blaming the Creator, because everything that's in the past is determined by Him. Only the present and the future, which is determined by the present, that is yours.

Question (W Krasnoyarsk): (55:14) I have this initial understanding and then a question. So, when a group is gathering, okay, that's understood. We all, we have points in the heart, we understand it, we all feel it, but we don't, we don't actually feel it. To get to the point in the heart, there is this road through the heart. So to open it, we need to feel the person. So how, from where is this fear to open the heart, where does it come from? Because when we were younger, we used to be able to trust, but now we can't, where does it come from?

M. Laitman: You're not obligated to reveal your heart to another.

Student: Even to the friends?

M. Laitman: Even to the friend. Do this quietly, you simply need to be within Him.

Student: And if the friend's heart's closed?

M. Laitman: It doesn't matter, he can't close anything off from you.

Student: Keep knocking?

M. Laitman: It doesn't matter how he acts, how he reacts, you need to simply be within his heart, within his desires, within his troubles. You should wish to help him. There's this word in Hebrew, to wish him well, just so that he will be good.

Student: Understood.

M. Laitman: No, no, no, he's trying to figure out the word. Not spoil, no, not to inspire, no, to aid, the way you wish for a child to be successful.

Student: Maybe to be empathetic, so in order to make him happy, I need to know what makes him happy. But if it makes me happy, but makes him sad?

M. Laitman: You want him to be happy, so that he'll be good.

Student: From where will I know it's good for him?

M. Laitman: Look at this word in the dictionary, called Lefarget. Simply when you wish him well.

Student: Inside the soul, this deep feeling?

M. Laitman: Yes, just this attitude towards another. It's not help, it's not influence, it's purely, it’s a state, it's motion, it's actually motion. We'll leave this, and then we'll hopefully later understand what this feeling is, this sensation.

Question (Krasnoyarsk): (58:27) My name is Anton, and I'm from Krasnoyarsk group, and the question is about MAK Online. I happen to lead one of the studios in Krasnoyarsk, and it's a relatively small group, and in MAK there are many men that are active and some women. And the question is such, can I, as the studio director, can let people teach, the ones that don't come to morning lessons regularly, to teach?

M. Laitman: To teach, can they do it? Do they have enough knowledge?

Student: Well, that's exactly the question.

M. Laitman: It's a question for you, not them. If they're incapable, they can talk a lot, but they won't be able to know what they're talking about. That's not good. What will they be teaching?

Student: And so if we have the constant connection to the sources through the morning lesson, then…

M. Laitman: It doesn't matter that there are special connections during the morning lesson, it's important for these teachers to know what they need to relay, and if they will be this…go straight from the topic, they need to understand their boundaries, not to go into some other random topics. They need to know specifically either physics, you know, chemistry, as an example. They need to be specific about this subject matter. When they start teaching, they need to know what it is they're teaching. So let them talk to you and give you a report, and only after that maybe they can go and teach. How many times a week are you in touch with us?

Student: For now, six days.

M. Laitman: Okay, how many times do they come?

Student: Maybe one day.

M. Laitman: Once a week. And what about the other times? The other times he's just sitting and working through the material, right?

Student: Yeah, hopefully.

M. Laitman: Well, we need to do something about this. We shouldn't scare people off, but on the opposite, this needs to push him forward to study and to participate. To be a wise person, in quotation marks, it's not a problem, but when you're not in the group every day, at least two, three times a week, however it is accepted with you guys. Let's say there are special conditions and we agree that we come to the lesson three times a week, let's say. But without these three times, a person is not advancing spiritually. Perhaps he can be a teacher in MAK and can teach them through the technical aspects, but he will not be familiar with the spiritual work. Maybe he doesn't even need it. We need to look at each case individually. But we talk about how everything is realized in the group and you'll be able to feel it, perceive it in a more specific way. And there's no chance to avoid that, either towards the group or that's it, nothing else. So, you can try to compensate their absence in some way. Maybe you can form them into teachers in some specific way. Maybe this person only does this, that person only does that. But in some way, you need to compensate for these hours of study that are not there.

Question (Perm): (01:03:07) Marina from Perm. I have such a question. What is the secret of our Kazakhstan group? They always radiate such joy and they give so much love to us, so warm. From the Moscow Congress, they just conquered everyone. And the Novosibirsk Convention as well. So, what does it mean? One of them told me, my husband is very strong. And in her words there wasn't one doubt, one drop that he would do something incorrectly, that he would leave the path. So, that just totally shocked me. So, maybe their secret is in the women.

M. Laitman: We'll need to do a Congress wherever you are and bring the bachelors there. I don't know. I, unfortunately, I'm not familiar with these women. And I don't know why they say this, but perhaps they're correct. When a wife speaks this way about her husband it's very supporting. The most important thing in a man, in a macho, macho man, is to support him like a small child. That's everything he needs it very much. And when a wife talks to him like that, he can't even allow himself to be weak. He will try with all his strength to justify this opinion. He will not be able to lower himself in her eyes. A smart woman knows this and she uses this. Uses it for the good, of course. A wife, in relation to this, can do a lot more than the entire group. If a wife is a part of the man and if she walks along with him, she can secure his success. So, women, you should keep this in mind. This is a very serious mission that is within your hands. The female and male parts are so intertwined instinctively, internally, through these connections that we don't even know how they work. You have a huge influence on them. You can determine a man's success. I am very much hopeful and dependent on you in this. Don't disappoint.

Question (Omsk): (01:06:11 From Omsk. Some of my good friends that went through war in Afghanistan, they have these very bright memories. Well, that's understood. What's most memorable for them is about war, about death, about this mud and blood. I wanted to know, what does that mean when this battle, this army, did they really have this route between them?

M. Laitman: Such relationships develop between people when a person depends on others, where he can't save himself. And in this way, when these others start to feel each other in such a way, they in a way become a Kabbalistic group. It doesn't matter that they don't understand the spiritual method, but this separation from the ego, when there's no place for it anymore, when you understand that whether it's you or another person, it doesn't matter. There appears this transition. Those that have been in these situations, they know that the self-sacrifice that appears through interdependence, that's true, that does exist. It's salvation through rejection of egoism. And this is why they remember these things. Such equivalence of inspiration is hard to feel in this life. We come back to this life after such events, and this life suppresses us. So, what can you do?

Question (W Barnaul): (01:08:18) Is it possible to progress spiritually without knowing psychology?

M. Laitman: Kabbalists did not study it in universities. It's only been around for 50-70 years. Even at the start of the last century, psychology wasn't even considered a science. Even today, it's not really a science, because you can't study a person, because we are people ourselves. We can't really study ourselves. In order to study yourself, you need to be higher, at a higher degree. So, what’s psychology? Psychology is a soul. Who can study a soul? Everything that we study, the same as studying animals' reactions, certain instinctive actions, certain influence of the environment, of the society, of people upon one another. That's why studying Kabbalah, we are actually also studying psychology.

But psychology on its own there's nothing much to study there, because for 20 years it's been basically empty, devoid. Because psychology has existed from the beginning of the last century up until the 80s, maybe the 90s. After that, there hasn't been any discoveries, no new forays, and that's it. A person has become unattainable, a person cannot attain another person. To do that, you need to ascend.

By studying Kabbalah you can understand the psychology of a person, his soul, because everything comes from the soul. How can you understand a human if you don't know how he's controlled- the reasons why, what goal is he trying to attain. Either we see this in the animal level, when a person just tries to make himself comfortable, to live his 70 years, or certain actions that we try to understand, but this is not really psychology. This is just on the animal level that we study these things, so there's nothing really to study here. You'll understand everything from Kabbalah.

Question (Krasnoyarsk): (01:11:16) Maxim, Krasnoyarsk virtual group. I'm a student of MAK Online, actually. I have a question from a student that came two days before this Congress during the preparation. He didn't have a chance to ask because he left. He has this question. He had an opportunity to go to an excursion with you and to help make this stage. So, his question is, did he make a correct choice?

M. Laitman: Of course it's correct. Yes of course, if you see, if we had a lot of hands here, then, you know, it's like how we dismantle things right now. Let's all, thousands of us stay here and start to dismantle things. No, it needs to be a specific group of people that needs to know, because look how many different joints and fixtures there are. You need to know how to properly dismantle it. So, we will collect the chairs, the tables, dismantle everything, everything we can. Yes, we should, we should break everything down. That's why most of us can go to the excursion. By the way, just to see the, of course, beautiful scenes and sights, it's a beautiful country Siberia, it's completely, it’s  another planet. How many times have I been to all kinds of places in South America? Everywhere. Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Chile. I don't remember. Also, Colombia and so on. America, Canada. No, it's not like this. Switzerland. No, I'm serious. I haven't seen.

Another thing is that it's all within a few months that it all exists. But then it's a different kind of beauty. It's all white. Everything is in the snow, covered. But I didn't lose anything. I only gained here. If I could stay here, I would stay. And what would I do here? I would just read Shamati. Always the work for the group, especially during our  convention, Congress, it's much more preferred because when we make these Congresses in Israel and several thousand people gather. Last one was, what, 7,000? At least 10? 10,000. We have a kitchen there. In the kitchen, there is in one shift, how many people? Let's say 200 or 300 people that work at the kitchen. And people come from far away. For example, from Krasnoyarsk to the Congress, and they walk into the kitchen, and actually, you spend the entire Congress in the kitchen working there, and they have an earphone and hear everything, but doesn't even walk out into the main hall. Always, the entire time in the kitchen, and I'm very envious of him.

Question (W MAK): (01:15:03) Hello, friend from…I have a question about integral education. We don't have an opportunity to integrate this entire system, this entire method of integral education where we live. Can I use the types of work, methods of work that exist in the regular schools? Let's say, alternative educational organizations to use foundations of integral education to teach, let's say, music from the point of view of the integral world.

M. Laitman: Well, if it's an orchestra, I don't know, what?

Student: Choir.

M. Laitman: A choir, of course. Let them start to try to feel each other. That's why I actually love Georgian choirs.

Student: We actually constantly deal with choirs and bands. In terms of music, there are these forms of work that already exist.

M. Laitman: Music, it's actually, it's an individual activity. So, only if it's an orchestra or a choir, but if it's just one person playing, well, maybe a quartet, but if just one playing, I don't understand how it could be integral.

Student: No, the lessons of music lessons at school, educational lessons. In other words, to explain the laws of music from the point of view of integral education. Can we use this type of method, this foundation?

M. Laitman: Of course, of course. I very much like Bach. It's nice when it's on the keyboard. It's really felt, this multi-grained, how diverse it is, how versatile it is. We'll try. It'll happen. Maybe we should move on to...

Question (Moscow): (01:17:18) Hello, I'm Maxim from Moscow. I'm a musician. You just told a friend not to be ashamed of his past. Every morning I wake up that everything depends on me. If it's not me, then who is? If I'm not for myself, then who is? I constantly build plans to do something grandiose, and then I'm distracted. And in the evening, I realize that I haven't done anything. I understand that there's None Else Besides Him. So, the Creator has done this for me to feel that I haven't done anything. And on the other hand, there's no point to eat yourself, because only a fool does that. So, I go to sleep, wake up in the morning, completely blank, new life, nothing happened, and I start anew. So, how to break out of this cycle? In other words, I have this system of justifications, a very smart one.

M. Laitman: Yes, I think it is so because in the morning, you start to focus on some of your own private spiritual interests that are of your own. But you need to start to engage into group ones, and then you won't be able to have excuses, and this forgetfulness will disappear, and you'll remind each other, and you will end up doing something. Actions, the spiritual, can only be in a group, only in the group, and at least with one other person. Because if it's just myself, and I give myself some promise, no matter what, even if I would succeed, and in the evening, I feel, oh wow, yeah, I'm a hero. All day I was thinking or had the right intention. But that's zero. That's nothing if it wasn't related to others. Not that I was thinking about others, but if I wasn't in this action with others. And that's why for years, from the morning, we try to give ourselves some intension, obligation, and then at night we see. And it doesn't matter, yes or no with the result.

But the spiritual work is only if we are in the group, at least two people together, but ideally more, and otherwise it's not spiritual. And when we merge together and do some action, and in that action hopefully we are interdependent on each other, and we're connected, interconnected into each other, and each one is connected into the other. And then if all together we're influencing towards the group, and from there to the Creator, can we transfer the ‘I’ of ourselves, that I am happy that he is within me. And then together we start to become happy that we want to exit into the quality of bestowal, that we're happy, that we're making the Creator happy. And this work cannot be done if it's not at least two.

Song: (01:20:41)

Student: Okay dear friends, so we went through a very special lesson with Rav now, a lesson that at the time Rav recommended that we watch again and again. As a friend wrote me, crazy lesson about the discernments that Rav gave us. So what did we hear? We heard the slogan that we gave this weekend, love is to live in the friend's desire. Let's read excerpt number 13. We'll read something very special that Rav said in the lesson to refresh that point he started with.
