1. Where the deficiency we can somehow obtain by ourselves through the shattering also not exactly by ourselves but through the efforts we make where we discover the opposite state, how much we want but are incapable of getting it. So the question is am I on the lookout every moment, am I aware of it, am I aware of it that new desires appear and I must realize these desires in the growing connection in the 10.

S. How is there a revealing record connected to the possibility to strengthen?

R. The record is revealed from the lack of connection in the 10, the upper light works on the 10 and reveals in it the current state. This current state is what we have to investigate and then explore and see, what can we add from this current state to our growing connection. Then we will realize the record correctly.

S. So it turns out that on the surface we work and we connect every day at the beginning of the morning?

R. Tell me this connection that you connect and talk. You need to think how you can be connected today more according to the current state compared to yesterday. 3. S. (16:40) In the beginning of your words you said we should bow our heads. Is there no other way to detour this bowing of the head?

R. No, the head means your egoistic thoughts, egoistic plans that I have to lower and then I can go above the head. This is called faith above reason. The head is the reason, the head is the thoughts of reception, how do I realize myself in what I am? Above reason means how do I do it the opposite way. So we discussed yesterday how we need to work in such a way that I work in bestowal. I try to be the bestower, I try to ask for strength to bestow. What I heard is that the line that influenced everyone was that a person expects his actions of bestowal will be the reward that he wants to bestow and to see that as the reward. 7. S. (23:54) Does awakening the Creator, is it enough for it to speak about the next state we want to speak about understanding where we are right now or is it enough that we meet to wait for an answer?

R. You have time during the day, a little bit of time to speak among yourself and stay after the lesson and talk. You need to decide what is the main thing, during that day, what is the topic you are thinking about. Each one during his free time and all of you together when you gather a few times a day, and that's how you will realize the lesson. R. That's why we are talking about revealing more and more that inclination towards connection and seeing the state of connection as good and seeing the state where we receive the connection as a reward. Although we discover each time together with that how far we are from the connection and that too should be as a reward because this is the revelation of evil and the evil, the wicked that are revealed, specifically in the revelation of the wicked ones we can advance towards the goal. That's what I mean you cannot approach correction except on two legs. R. The things we are discussing now are truly at the bottom of the ladder, the beginning of the ladder, but they still don't bring us spiritual discernments but understand that we are talking about how we want to be in bestowal. We want to perform an action of bestowal and I need to try to make sure that it is not connected to me in any way shape or form and if I will make this action I will do it and feel like I succeeded. So my question is: is the success a spiritual one or still corporeal, this is the question. So I will be happy about doing an act of bestowal and I get a certain pleasure out of it and this is called bestowing in order to receive. R. Clarify the problem for me more.

S. We tried but every time, every day after the lesson, we put together a prayer for the Creator and before that we want to see that we have the same deficiency and we turn to him more sharply more keenly and each time we feel they each one has his own prayer in together it is just a collection of sentences how do we come to a prayer that is more one, together-- one, clear prayer to the Creator?

R. You have to try and do it by yourself and ask the Creator to the extent you discover that you were incapable, that is beautiful, that's what we need to come to, but you cannot simply ask the Creator how to arrange the connection between you before you feel how incapable you are of reaching the connection because your prayer will then be incomplete so you ask of the Creator for help. He can't do it and then you help him and before that you shouldn't help him, he needs to have a deficiency for help. He needs to learn how these actions need to be need to appear in the world and need to work in this world, we do something and then we see that we can't do it and we can't succeed and the Creator did this on purpose so we would turn to Him and form a connection with Him otherwise I'll or why would you need Him? R. We work according to the records that appear to us and aim us by revealing our deficiency towards what we need to do, our whole work becomes apparent through the revelation of the records; these are records of information, informative records that appear in us, and then we feel what we are lacking. We lack this and this and that and this is how we advance this is how we come closer. You're not getting much from speaking about being activated by the records but we are the whole world is being activated. Also the still vegetative and animate they develop through the records of everyone. The important thing is to work on connection and then we hasten the emergence of the new records

S. If it can awaken in us feelings of connection towards friend's little more or a little less?

R. I don't know what kind of records will be. I need to work on the connection. On the contrary, the Creator places obstacles before us so we will scrutinize along the way to the correct prayer various discernments and in this way we will come to the state where we know exactly what are we asking for who are we asking from what do we need to receive and so on and so forth.

14. S. (44:03) To continue on that, a person cannot work without the reward, so what is the right reward towards a person towards the group towards all of reality?

S. What is the result that will be real, correct, because it seems like a person cannot work without a result so what is the right result, for what should one work, what results should one expect with result, to the individual root to the world?

R. S. What does it mean to truly bestow to the Creator?

R. It is to use the will to receive correctly. The will to receive itself is not flawed, but what is flawed is when I use it for my own sake instead of for the sake of others and the Creator.

S. But I don't know anything else, I only know this.

R. Fine, so you get to know a new method where you work for the sake of others, meaning all of humanity, the group, and the Creator.

S. My work changes from in order to receive?

R. All your work, all your current efforts are to receive for yourself and they will be in order to bestow upon others. This is called work above reason, above the will to receive. We should also work within the will to receive, but not for the sake of the desire but for others.

S. How not to work for the desires but for the benefit of the other?

R. The fact that we might cry because we cannot bestow upon others you can't imagine? Let's say you want to help the friends, this is very important to you. Such vessels are developed in you where you care for them more than you care for yourself, so then you cry. Why? Because you cannot help them. Why? You are powerless to do it. You have no opportunity. Behind this stands the Creator and from bestowal upon others, you bestow upon Him.

I don't demand anything from Him as if I obligate the Creator, ‘you have to do this or that for me’. I simply surrender to this upper force and believe that the Creator controls and arranges everything. There is one force that operates in all of creation and therefore I hand myself over according to the advice of Kabbalists. Whatever happens, happens. From today to tomorrow, I demand no changes. On the other hand, I should reveal the deficiency to have more and more forces of bestowal and advancement, etc. But on the other hand, even if I have nothing, I will agree to remain in that state. I do not exit the campaign. I agree to work like a servant, a slave of the Creator that doesn't receive anything besides the ability to keep being a slave. This is called reaching the exodus in Egypt. In Egypt we work for Pharaoh and then really exit and begin to be slaves, servants, of the Creator. S. What am I supposed to feel within the ten in this quality of bestowal?

R. That you are mutually connected to one another and there are no other desires among other than to attribute yourselves to the Creator and for the Creator to do with you whatever He wants, no matter what. This is the quality of Bina that is above Malchut, the quality of Faith which is above Malchut, above reason. According to the level of faith, to the extent that we raised ourselves above the will to receive, above Malchut, we can feel what it means to be in the quality of bestowal, in the upper world. We can't spoil anything, not in the upper world or in us, because we do not want anything. We don't mind staying this way. By this we acquire the quality of freedom. This is called being a free nation in our land, in our desire, an egoistic desire, but we acquire freedom from it. We rise above it to the level of Bina above Malchut.

24. S. (01:11:41) What is prayer and how can we understand it?

R. A prayer is a prayer, a plea, an appeal to the Creator from within the ten, from within the group. It awakens, in the upper degree, a deficiency to bestow upon the one who forms the prayer.

25. R. (01:14:02) In other words we measure the desire according to their breaks. To the extent that a person is in a descent, in a fall, in a recess or a break, if the break is short it is a sign that it is a strong desire. The breaks have to happen. There is nothing to be ashamed of. It doesn’t matter if we think that we are weak, helpless, or that we despair. It is written, ‘Do anything but leave’. I don't quit, I hang on to the friends and the friends hang on to me and I return. It is best to keep the breaks short, and the best way to prepare myself for them is by arranging for myself some sort of duty. This duty will connect me to dissemination, or to something in the work of the group. When I translate or print something it teaches me, certainly with beginners. Anything that I do in this way really keeps me. The people who engage in this are advancing in the safest way.

26. S. (01:15:58) What determines the time of the arrest and how do you shorten it?

R. Everything depends on the ten, that you help each other, that you have the power of mutual responsibility between each other, and to help each other. You can advance in such a way that you will barely feel that you have these breaks. Become more and more incorporated and you will advance and continue. We have all the opportunities from above to advance in such a way that you will advance with hardly any breaks. The breaks will also be part of the process of advancement.

27. S. (01:16:57) Would it be more helpful to recognize a cyclic occurrence of the breaks and plan for them instead of waiting to get to that point of rejection?

R. No. We don't know the quality of the break we will have, the quality of cooling, or distancing. We can't detect it because it's according to Reshimot that are revealed because of the breaking between us. There are new Reshimot every time so we can't say in advance the state of dissent, fall or remoteness our disconnection will be. We need only to strengthen the connection between us, to put ourselves into mechanical work as much as possible like translating or something else, maybe giving lessons to external groups of beginners. All kinds of things that we organize and disseminate outside of the ten helps us to maintain the ten. Then the breaks won't be long. This is what we see happening.

28. S. (01:19:21) Can we use fear from corporeal problems and troubles as motivation to work?

R. We should not think of these things, but to rise above them. Do not think about the corporeal problems because they are all results of spiritual problems. We should also try to rise above the spiritual problems, through our connection and bestowal. Today, in the last generation, we can advance from ascent to ascent. We can almost immediately see that a previous ascent is not an ascent, but a degree from which I can rise even higher.

29. S. (01:20:35) Should a state of joy come from a state where I overcome or should I rather aim to be in joy to overcome the states?

R. I want, together with the friends, to always come to a state where even though we see that we are not getting what we want, we are happy that we are together. The connection between us sweetens every single state that seems to us that we are not reaching spirituality because what is important for us is to achieve connection. Spirituality is revealed in the connection between us. We don’t need to see what we are receiving in the connection, but to realize how much our connection becomes more powerful.

30. S. (01:26:03) How can we go from ascent to descent when the ten feels it is during the summary of its connection and there's a great desire with overcoming and we know that a descent will come for the sake of an ascent. How do we acquire the next vessels without falling?

R. That is a good and correct question. We already learned that if we achieve where we are now a connection between us that we can really call complete and are we connected to the extent, we are connected among us, are we also connected to the Creator. Are we truly in such mutual bestowing that we can't see what else there is to add or do we enjoy being in such a state, that we enjoy the situation itself? Are we enjoying the fact that we are on the way so enjoying the way means even though we haven't achieved what we have to achieve we are still happy that we are advancing on the way. We should distinguish here between the desirable and the existing, so if we are together and we talk about our situation then we can certainly detect that in our situation we have more to add. Try this and talk about it and you will see.

31. S. (01:28:09) The prayer each day we compose a prayer after the lesson as we read about it now and personally I feel that we are losing the edge of that prayer, the pain in it somehow dissolves. How do we come to a state in the ten, where this prayer will be the apex of the efforts, some deep yearning?

R. You speak very nicely but it is not that simple to put together a prayer each day every time more and more. I am happy to hear that you are working on it every day in the group and you are trying to put together a prayer but it will get harder and harder because you are advancing in the group with different people and it will get very difficult to find what else we need, where else and what more can we ask in demand, where else do we have places of connection between us as it will get more and more difficult. Until this also you will turn to the Creator and the Creator will give us a prayer and He will open our hearts and give us the prayer as it is also written this way. See that this deficiency comes from above, not from us and it is good that we are working according to the deficiency of the Creator, how did we demand of Him His deficiency? When we agree to accept His deficiency as ours then we are willing to work according to His deficiency just as we work for a boss when he tells us to do something and we do it. Likewise the deficiency that we want to discover from the Creator is Reshimot of the next state and it is only from Him this is good that we are now in the situation where we don't know what else to ask for as if the trivial things that we had before we asked and we got used to them. Now I want to know in the group what we can really be drawn to so good luck to you, demand this from Him. Then you will see as the Creator arranges the prayer in the heart of each and every one and you will feel that you have a common prayer.

32. S. (01:31:45) There are two kinds of approach in prayer, one is that the prayer has to be as scrutinized as possible directed and organized and tell the Creator exactly what is corrupted and ask Him to correct it and the other approach is that we are not even demanding anything but just to agree with the state, to subdue to be as slaves that we are not demanding anything just devoting ourselves to the upper correction, so how to combine the two?

R. You should continue, I can't even give you clear advice that would be understood to everyone, keep going and we will scrutinize it some more as I feel according to the general spirit that we have exhausted this lesson, we will go to the next.
