185. Until Malchut was separated from the ribs of ZA, which is the sowing off, and came to connect with him face-to-face, when they connect, they seem as one body since in the origin, they are right and left of the same degree. For this reason, although they were divided and built into two degrees, they reconnect as one body, as one degree, right and left.
We learn from this that in the souls of people, when is in itself, it seems like half a body, the right part of the soul, and it is all Hesed. It is likewise with the soul of the female the part of the left: It is all Gevura. When they join together, everything seems as one body, since the two halves have joined into one. And so it is indeed. Here, too, when the male, ZA, connects to Malchut, everything is one body. At that time, the all the worlds are in gladness since they are all blessed by the complete body, and this is the second state of Malchut.
186. It is written, “Therefore, the Lord has blessed the Sabbath day and sanctified it,” for then everything is under the bestowal of one complete body since Malchut has adhered to the King on Shabbat [Sabbath], and therefore, there are blessings on this day. It follows that one who is not in male and female is called “half a body,” and there is no blessing in a flawed and deficient thing, but rather in a complete place, in a complete thing, and not in half a thing. Half a thing never exists and is never blessed.
187. The beauty of the female is from the beauty of the male. All those of below, in the three worlds BYA, are united from Nukva, from Malchut. They suckle from her and return to her, since Malchut is the root of all three worlds below Atzilut. She is called the “mother of all.” As Bina is the mother of the Guf, ZA, and all the Guf suckles from her, so Malchut is the mother of all the other ones below in BYA.
188. There is Hochma and there is Hochma. Upper Hochma is AVI, and lower Hochma is Malchut. Nukva, Malchut, is called “small Hochma” compared to the upper Hochma. This is why it is written, “We have a little sister and she has no breasts,” since this Hochma is extended in the exile. This is why she has no breasts, to bestow upon Israel. “We have a little sister” for she seems little in the exile. However, she is indeed great because she is wholeness that is received from all the Sefirot.
When Israel are in their country, it is written, “I am a wall and my breasts are as towers.” “My breasts,” which are full, to nurse all. “As towers,” which are great rivers that emerge from upper Ima, and they are called “towers.”
