Part 1:

The Ruin as an Opportunity for Correction - Selected Excerpts from the Sources. #59

1. Rav’s Introduction: Yes, in order for us to reach the revelation to the Creator we have to discover how far away from us he is. As it says from far away he will bring her bread and therefore we need to enter a descent, darkness, the feeling of distance between us and between us and the Creator, and bit by bit we have to attain this remoteness as much as possible, as much as we need to so that from it we will advance, as it says I called upon you from the straits, that we have to advance always from a descent, from the attainment of the remoteness, from the attainment of our lowliness and this is our way, so let's hope that we will reach that.

Reading (01:58 - 05:15) excerpt #59 “"What Is Unfounded Hatred in the Work?" “Since there was unfounded hatred in the Second Temple ...” Twice.

1.R. (05:20) Without attaining the descent, the fall, the distancing, the lowliness, negativity, etc. we cannot start the corruption because first we have to understand what is the lack of connection, what is the shattered in what are we lacking and therefore all of the states that we go through we always go from a bad state, a fall, the ruin, the shattering and only then to good, to connection and attainment.

2. S. (06:09) It seems as if there is a connection between the unfounded hatred and not having the intention to bestow, what is the connection between these two?

R. It's that if there is no hatred that's not good that means there's a lack of recognition of evil and we do need to discover the evil that is broken and the shattering is revealed according to the measure of distancing, oppositeness that is revealed between the parts of the single vessel, between people, and then it is possible to correct it. Therefore here it is a state that in order to accelerate our advancement we have to try to connect and to be happy in that we are not able to connect and to continue connecting and to be happy even more that we cannot connect because by this we are discovering the shattering between us more and more and then when the shattering is revealed in the right intensity, the right form, then it comes already to the time of correction and before the shattering is revealed it means that the correction hasn't come yet because there is nothing to correct we don't feel that there is a shattering, that there is a ruin. Therefore Rabbi Akiva, we read it before and soon we will read it that he was happy when he saw Jerusalem in its ruin because now already it is certain that there will be a correction. In this world we always advance only from the bad to the good, from the bad to the good and therefore when the bad is revealed before us we should be happy about it. This is the first stage of the correction and the revelation of the good.

S. But in the excerpt he speaks not only about hatred is revealed between them and that is why the Temple is ruined but it is because they lack the intention to bestow.

R. That is already a higher degree, at least to rise above the hatred and later on we are ready to rise to bestowal to each other.

3. S. (09:36) The text says that we need to, the Torah and the commandments, the good deeds, charity, so what is the meaning of charity here if it is coming from an egoistic place or someone egoistic?

R. Yes, but nevertheless if we want to connect in a group then we have to contribute forces to each other, to pass forces and awakening to each other, and to supply the friends with whatever the lacks in forces, in awakening, in a good feeling, in hope, and this is called charity that we pass on from one to the other.

4. S. (10:42) What is the quality of mercy, of compassion in the work in the ten in order to reach adhesion with the Creator?

R. Mercifulness means that I am searching for in what can I support the friend in order to elevate him to a higher degree.

5. S. (11:20) What does it mean to work for free without any reward?

R. That I only ask for the power to bestow and not any reward beyond that.

6. S. (12:02) Why is it when I'm in connection duty or I am a public messenger I see the friends as small as having the need to take care of them?

R. This is according to what you think about the friends, this is how you see them.

7. S. (12:28) How to hasten between the friends the revelation of the depth of the shattering?

R. How do we accelerate it between the friends the revelation and the death of the shattering? First of all it’s through an example and through efforts in common action in the ten and through the prayer. Pretty much this is what we have as the possibility to do something.

8. S. (13:15) It turns out that even if they did the correct deeds but without intention it wasn't worth it and the ruin came, is this attitude that everything is intention, and the action doesn't matter?

R. We don't need to think about what will happen, we need to think about what we are doing and what the Creator will do, I don't know. Maybe in a minute there will be the end of correction, maybe in a minute it will be a third World War, etc. I do not know. And I need to rise above time, motion, and place and only operate in bestowal, in any way possible that's it. Therefore all these questions about time, motion, and place, they are disqualified. We will never know what needs to be.

S. But it says that they did the right deeds?

R. And another….

S. Nevertheless the temple is ruined

R. Again, I am saying I do not ask about what needs to be. You're not listening. If there needs to be a ruin let there be a ruin. If it is not necessary, it is not necessary but I along with that I have to perform the actions that are upon me.

9. S. (15:00) Seems like yesterday and today we have been hearing specific directions of mutual support between us.

R. Which one? About what?

S. About mutual support between us, that we have to support one another, that we have to pick into it, to try..

R. Is that new?

S. It is not that it is new, but it sounds that there is something to find there, something that we need to discover, meaning the mutual support between us is there’s a new sensor, a new sensitivity.

R. We discover by this sensitivity to the connection between us, we discover new forces, new conditions with which we need to move forward. Specifically from the mutual support between us.

S. Do we need to feel that if we are supporting each other correctly the Creator joins us, he’s trying to pass through the supports between us?

R. We need to believe that it is so until we discover that it is so.

10. S. (16:16) It says here, we learned that unfounded hatred towards one another and the connection between us and here it says that unfounded hatred is relative to the work in order to bestow. Is this different kind of hate or the same hate?

R. There are many manners of hatred, distancing, and rejection but ultimately they are all against the others to the extent that the will to receive within me is awakening and it stands, and it compels me. The feeling of hatred it’s an awakening of the will to receive, by this it manifests, it shows itself.

S. The fact that we are saying that we have to rise above this unfounded hatred to every form of it?

R. Yes, if I hate the other I need to realize, to feel, to attain, to determine that this hatred comes only from my ego and no one in the world hates me but rather it is only that I hate myself. That will come later.

S. What do we call it free or unfounded and free mean the same thing in Hebrew. Every disturbance has a reason, why do we call it free?

R. We call it unfounded, or free because indeed in spirituality it does not exist but rather in corporeality, in this world we certainly feel all kinds of forms of justification for hatred, for the distancing, for the rejections to others but all of these is brought to us by the will to receive and we actually according to the will to bestow should not have hated anyone or be distanced from each other, this is why it is called unfounded hatred.

11. S. (19:12) What exactly is the shattering, what does it mean to discover it correctly?

R. The discovery of the shattering correctly there's a few degrees that it comes from the Creator and that he broke the vessels in order to correct what he did. On lower degrees it is all of the hatred that we have between us in the group and around this all the hatred that exists between everyone and everyone, all these calculations between everyone and everyone among all people in this world and all of this we have to correct it. We should also take into account that all the relations that exist between the still, vegetative and animate also depend on the relations between people. If people will change the connections between them then the relations between animals, let's say, fish, plants, and no matter what it is, they will also change for the better. We will truly see the world as the Garden of Eden. As it is written, like a little child will lead the lambs, the wolf will live with the lamb and we will live in peace and quiet on all levels of nature, so that there will be no fight, no quarrels between different species and all the different forms of nature, also in the vegetative, and in the animate. If Israel and later on all the people of the world will reach connection and then they will draw the reforming light and pass it on also to the whole of nature and then the laws of nature change so that everyone connects above the opposite nature that they had before.

12. S. (22:15) How to disconnect yourself from the result, from the dependency on the result of the calculation?

R. It is difficult, it is difficult, and it doesn't come easily or quickly, in truth I don't know how to explain it, but we don't need to, gradually we will understand along the way how we distance ourselves from in order to receive and come closer to the appreciation of bestowal. As much as we wanted to as much as we to that extent we complete our calculation with it. It is difficult for us because we cannot let go of it because if it's so what will be left and what will happen to me? So, seemingly I die, and I leave this world and I have nothing as a Rabash writes that it seems to the person that it is as if nothing remains for him but no. We need more and more to reach the recognition of our state. I don't have the words. It’s also such a time where there are not that many words.

13. S. (23:55) What do we do when hatred appears in the practice?

R. We are happy because if it is revealed then for sure it was there before also, but it was covered, the hatred between us. Now it is becoming revealed. It comes out of hiding to be revealed. And then we can work with it, to pray, to connect, to perform all kinds of actions so that it will enter correction.

S. Do we need to add additional actions after the hatred is revealed?

R. Of course, in order for us to be connected, in order for us that whatever was revealed now will enter correction.

14. S. (25:14) What to do in the ten when the friend says he doesn't feel anything anymore in the ten and the ten doesn't bring him anything of what he searches?

R. It’s very good. This is his true state, and he should continue forcefully. We need to support him, strengthen him, and help him to take a few steps forward, and then he will start to discover how bad it is for him or good it is for him without the ten, with the ten, and this will advance him. And besides that we need to accustom ourselves to perform all kinds of actions even though we don't want it and we don’t understand it and we don't feel but rather to overcome, to ask for forces and to do something with them. I sometimes saw on Rabash that he was studying, or he was teaching, or he was singing, and I saw his face, it was a face like a rock without any inner emotion, simply like this, something terrible. He, nevertheless, compelled himself to at least speak, like a statue, and later on he would lift himself more, this is what we need to learn to do.

15. S. (27:26) I want to ask about this connection between the result and the action, is it truly disconnection from the result or do we think what I want out of my life, I want vessels of bestowal not of reception, the result to be in the friends and not me or complete disconnection ?

R. Disconnection from the result is also a result, however, it’s disconnection, that's it. For the time being we should have that as our goal.

16. S. (28:37) If all the evil I see in this world comes from the Creator, who should I hate?

R. We need to hate only the incidents, the forces, the thoughts, the desires that distance us, that disconnect us from each other and from the Creator. This is what we need to hate.

17. S. (29:13) On the one hand we don't need to think what will happen in the next moment, what will the Creator do, maybe it will be the end of correction or maybe a third world war, so what to expect from the next moment?

R. Adhesion with the friends and adhesion with the Creator. This thing should be before me always as the goal that I'm drawn to, that I want to adhere to it with heart and soul and that's it.

S. Is that the salvation we are expecting?

R. Yes but rather what else could it be?

S. How do you depict to yourself the good end? I don’t know.

R. That you are adhered to the whole of humanity and together with them you adhere to the Creator.

S. Okay even before that in the previous states how do we learn to work without any inner feeling, like you described about Rabash with a face like a rock externally and who knows what’s on the inside?

R. Well that happens sometimes, what can you do?

S. Sometimes, the question is how to try to be in that state, disconnected from your inner emotion because it conquers you, it pulls you down. How to work above it?

R. I do not understand you. I try to be connected with the friends and connected with the Creator and this connection I constantly try to warm it up. Try now to depict to yourself that you are connected with the friends and connected with the Creator and somehow you are coming closer to them and to the Creator and this becomes more and more warm, more and more alive, more and more certain, and so isn’t this good? I have nothing more to tell you.

18. S. (31:51) I want to ask why Rabbi Akiva didn't immediately pray for the ruin of the temple when he saw that the state of connection among the people was not good. Can a Kabbalist pray for the ruin of the temple if he sees a state of connection in humanity is not good?

R. Rabbi Akiva saw the ruin and he also understood that this has to occur and when it did occur he was happy because following that must come acts of correction and the correction itself. And because it was already the second temple he already realized that there would be no more shattering. He lived during the time of the ruin of the second temple, 2000 years ago and he was happy because whatever may come afterwards now starts the period of correction, as long as it will take, it doesn’t matter, even two thousand years. But this will now go forward and come to an end. And each and every day makes its correction, and we will arrive, as we are coming now in our generation to the last generation, when we are before a state where we are establishing the Third Temple. What does it mean the Third Temple as the first and the second ones were not really the structures made of stones but rather their essence was in a certain connection that existed back then. And now we are in stages where we are reaching a state of connection among all of humanity into one place, one heart, one desire and connection in the Creator. This is why of course he was happy, because he saw, and he said there also, that just like the old prophecy was fulfilled so this also prophecy that we are seeing now will also come to be, that's it.

Reading (35:22) excerpt #62 “Once, Rav Gamliel and Rabbi Elazar Ben Azaria and Rabbi Yehoshua and Rabbi Akiva went up to Jerusalem”

19. R. (37:00) This means we have to go through all the stages of the shattering and the revelation of evil, the recognition of evil and then we come to the correction, the revelation of the good. These are the stages and therefore we too, each one of us in his individual life, this is how we go through it, and we correct it.

20. S. (37:32) Rabbi Akiva witnessed the death of 24,000 of his students during the ruin of the temple and at that time he defined it as revelation of evil. So is this necessary that everything that was revealed to Rabbi Akiva will happen again, will occur between us so we will discover the shattering?

R. Absolutely no. We, in principle from this moment or even earlier, we can rise to the end of correction without any pressures and disasters. Rather, the problem is are we capable of it? If we could imagine the bad, the evil even in the state that we are going through, of the smallest disconnection as being the greatest of evils, that lack of connection between us is truly a disaster; if we will depict things in this way we will come to the connection between us and the revelation of the Creator without any trouble because we are revealing the current state as troubles, so why do we need more than that? Everything depends on the degree of our sensitivity to the evil, to the bad.

21. S. (39:25) I like to ask about this attitude to the bad, to the ruin: when we feel actually that we constantly fail to connect and also the state of the world looks like it’s heading towards ruin but, here, he said that Rabbi Akiva was happy. I don't have such an intention, I didn’t acquire an intention yet so it’s something high, so in which vessel can I feel joy when I feel in my will to receive that the ruin, bad, in which vessel can I feel joy, where do I draw the force to feel the joy about the ruin?

R. When you are connected with the friends and in that you feel that you are approaching the Creator and each one is supported by the ten, from that you derive joy. You are starting to feel inside of that, what is the meaning of correction, the state of connection, the state of correction.

S. I sometimes see it happens to us sometimes in the ten that I see that it is difficult for us and sometimes the friends give up and they grow weaker; and they do make efforts and a friend tells me with this question of “what's the purpose”, “why am I giving up on this question because I'm looking for an answer and I can’t find it”?

R. What does it mean, “despaired”? ‘I want it so much, so, so much and I get nothing’, meaning that he's crying, he’s lamenting his vessel of reception. So, what do you want, you’re bringing me, complaining that he’s not receiving what he wants to receive in his vessels of reception?

S. Yes.

R. So, what do you want? You’re bringing me, you’re complaining that he's not receiving what he wants to receive in his vessels of reception?

S. I want to see how I can relate to this state as a state that can bring me closer to correction and be happy and somehow rise above this state with the right intention?

R. Only through greater and greater connection with the friends can you rise above the intention to receive, and you come to the intention to bestow to the friends and then through you, all the light that they need to receive is passing and everyone is filled.

22. S. (41:51) Was it possible during the day Rabbi Akiva to go in hastening and to prevent the ruin of the Temple?

R. No, they couldn’t have, it was impossible. Everything is happening according to plan, don't worry.

23. S. (42:18) Not expecting a result, isn't that the same as being indifferent?

R. We are expecting results, but the results are the correction of the entire world, that we are able to bestow contentment to the Creator, and not any personal results, personal things for me.

24. S. (42:48) Should we also disconnect from the results we expect from dissemination?

R. No, we want everyone to as quickly as possible be incorporated with the wisdom of Kabbalah and through that we will reach the complete correction where everyone will approach it and be corrected by it.

25. S. (43:15) How to maintain an attitude that everything that is revealed is from the Creator and all comes from His revealed love?

R. Through the connection with the friends, you have to receive strength from that and come to such discernments.

Reading (43:45 - 45:54) excerpt #60 “Our sages said (Avot Chapter 4), “Hatred of people expels a person from the world..” Twice

26. S. (45:58) Can you explain more clearly what is this “concealed hatred” and what is “revealed hatred”?

R. Simply put, let's say that if you have a person who got a few bad answers from you and he hates you for it, then seemingly this is not unfounded hatred, it is justified. If you have someone that hates you without any justified reason, this is called “unfounded hatred”. For the time being this is how you can explain it to one another. Meaning it’s man's ego which places him at the center of creation, the person looks at everyone as if they have to serve him and do his bidding, and if they don't then he hates them, and this is called unfounded hatred. Why? What reason does he have to demand for them to serve him? So accordingly, each and every one is in the state of unfounded hatred.

27. S. (47:48) How can a person love another when the Creator rejects him or pushes all kinds of images to him, what should we reach from these two contrasts, two oppositions?

R. We need to understand that the fact that we hate one another, this is something that they Creator does between us, this is the meaning of, “I created the evil inclination”, and we need to try in spite of it to come closer to one another, to try to connect against the will of the Creator, against what the Creator did. He made the evil inclination, and we rise above it and turn it into that good inclination.

28. S. (49:11) Out of what is it that there were righteous and great sages, but the people deflected from the path and there was a ruin, so it sounds as if the future of the righteous depends on the people or do the people depend on the righteous?

R. Correct.

S. What is correct?

R. The righteous approach the people and the people approach the righteous and they adhere to one another.

Reading (49:55 - 52:34) Excerpt #61 “The main flaw in the disciples of Rabbi Akiva was that there was no love of mercy among them…” Twice

29. S. (52:38) How to deal with unfounded hatred towards the …?

R. First of all, you have to say that everything comes, as usual, from the Creator, it all comes so that I will correct myself because outside of me the whole world is completely corrected and everything is measured according to what I determine, how corrected or corrupted it is. Meaning, in the whole world there’s only one corrupted individual which is “I”. And I need to worry about it, I need to correct myself because I am in the center of the world and I need to correct the world and I need to connect the whole world through me, and this is what will be called the end of Correction.

30. S. (53:58) It speaks here about the ‘love of mercy’, practically, what is this mercy here or how do we love Hassadim or have merciful love?

R. That I love bestowal, this is the meaning of “mercy”.

31. S. (54:25) In the excerpt he speaks about the fact that the disciples of Rabbi Akiva lacked mercy, etc. or love. Now, in the Arava, in Balta, did this love exist?

R. We need to obtain love between us, it comes to us by drawing the Upper light which shines on us and then when we are under the influence of the Upper light, we can then begin to feel what is love. It is not like in this world, it is something else.

32. S. (55:20) Earlier you said that our problem is that we do not feel the disasters that are because of the separation between us; along with that in my work, in contrast to this, I see that when I get the desire to serve the friends, to connect to the friends, I try to feel that it is something that is very precious and I see I don't have the sensitivity towards that as well. So, it turns out that I don't have sensitivity for the value of connection or the disasters from the exile and it seems like both of these different kinds are different kinds of work, so which one is more effective, which one should be more sensitive to?

R. We should awaken towards love and from that you will understand all the rest of the discernment.

33. S. (56:22) The state that you told us about the Rabash, that he had a face like a rock, I understand that the mind and the heart are two legs and with both of them we rise to spiritual degrees. So why Rabash, such a huge Kabbalist, was actually disconnected from his emotions?

R. Those are his personal state that comes to a person, it comes and goes, but in between those states of revelation there are states of disconnection and concealment, so it’s no wonder he got into it. You will see what kind of things may happen to us along the way.

34. S. (57:28) It says that “the Torah is a spice”, but how come even though we study it we always discover more hatred?

R. Yes.

S. Why is it so?

R. Because it’s the revelation of evil, the more light you have, the more it reveals what’s in you, you still have evil in you, it will reveal the evil. Let's say if you have some dirt in the house, if we don't turn on the light, you won’t see the dirt on the floor, but once you turn on the light you will see the dirt. If you add more light you will see more dirt in the corners. So, it all depends on the measure of correction, as much as we have a revelation of the light and of the evil and then the correction of the evil and the revelation of the good. We have to go through four stages for each spiritual discernment, before it can reach correction: the revelation of evil and the correction of evil.

35. S. (59:20) I feel as though when I hear you, I'm like a child whose mother is speaking, and I don't understand what she’s saying. How can I reach a state where I am like a grown up and I can understand what you are telling me to do?

R. What to do in order to wake up, recuperate, grow up? First of all, to attend all the lessons, even the lessons that you cannot make, you have to listen to them later in their archive. Additionally, you have to be connected with the friends and try to be in all of our events and activities. And then, specifically through the lesson and all the events you will begin to feel the spirit that will advance you, that's how it works. Good luck to you and always be with us and ask questions and everything will work out.

36. S. (01:01:02) It says, “the main extension of the Torah is through love and mercy”, but we don't have any love or mercy so how can we draw anything?

R. How come there's no love, who told you?

S. You said now to somebody, he asked you, was it possible that there would be no destruction, no ruin of the second Temple”, and you said, “no, it all follows a plan”; what do you mean, it’s all according to a plan so we can’t correct anything?

R. Rav sighs

S. Well, life is hard

R. With you.

S. With me, I have all these questions, what can I do?

R. I truly don't understand what you are complaining about. Are you asking about other people, or you don't understand?

S. I don't understand, you said the following: was it possible to prevent the ruin of the Second Temple and you said, “no, everything is according to the plan”, what do you mean?

R. Because you cannot reach redemption before we discover all of the ruin and destruction, and the ruin was planned from the beginning of creation, the ruin of the First Temple and the ruin of the Second Temple otherwise, how could you reach share redemption? You have to feel the vessels that are not functioning on the level of Hassidim and the vessels that are not functioning on the level of Hochma. And after you correct, bestow in order to bestow, and then receive in order to bestow, then you come to the end of Correction, and how to correct it? You can correct it on the condition that you feel that there are those broken vessels in you. First you discover to bestow in order to bestow is shattered, incapable and later even receive in order to bestow is broken and you correct them and then you reach the complete vessel.

S. So, tell me, was it even possible according to what you are saying, is it even possible to correct, change the plan of creation, is there such an option?

R. The end of the action and the initial thought, meaning that future state that is entirely whole, complete is already present; and sometimes it appears to the righteous ones as a dream, let's say.

S. So what, are we actually playing some game?

R. It is a game of course, it means ‘the Creator is playing with a whale’. But for us it is not a game because we are going through all the states, the worst possible states and against them the best possible state. And this way, left and right, left, and right until we are incorporated, included of all the states and from all these states we’re getting discernments between good and evil, truth and false, all kinds of states, and we become wise, “and you will be God knowing good and evil”.

S. So, what does He teach us actually, He's teaching us to change from within, He’s playing with us so that we will become similar to Him, is this what it's all about?

R. Of course, that’s not a story, to reach the degree of Godliness.

S. Well, it's quite some work.

R. It is a bit more than quite a bit of work.

37. S. (01:05:18) With the well-known example of the Ari, of let's go to Jerusalem, was the problem because of their wives?

R. For the time being his students were not arranged to their inner egos, that's it.

S. That here a wife is..

R. Yes, yes, it’s the will to receive inside a person.

38. S. (01:05:58) You said that Rabash would come out of descents by dancing and all kinds of such things that he would do but he had what to hold onto, he had the revelation. What can we hold on to?

R. You cannot be in revelation during a descent, in a descent he was worse than you.

S. So with faith above reason?

R. Of course. Of course he had to rise above in spite of his bad feeling, in spite of not seeing anything, not understanding anything, in spite of having nothing revealed to him. Nevertheless he functions, he tries to function as much as possible with adhesion with the Creator.

39. S. (01:07:00) In the excerpt he writes that the Rabbi Akiva was the revelation of the Torah. What does that mean?

R. His soul was such, was so exalted.

40. S. (01:07:25) If I correctly understand the story of Rabbi Akiva and his friends who went up to Jerusalem, we see that it is not enough to have attainment like Rabbi Akiva’s friends, but we also have to be adhered, to be on Rabbi Akiva’s level in order to see the evil correctly?

R. Yes.

S. So my question is how in the connection between us, when we see that the connection between us is not enough we also have to adhered to the teacher in order to justify the evil that is revealed between us?

R. Yes.

S. So how in addition to the connection between us we adhere to Rav, and we receive the ability to justify the bad, the evil?

R. In the moment you reach the center of the ten and you feel their adhesion between you, you will discover that you are already in adhesion with me as well.

S. There are many stories about such people that only from a certain degree, and there was also a story about Yom Kippur that he was the only who could justify the inequities, right?

R. Yes.

S. So we see that if we do not adhere to the teacher then we stand no chance of justifying the ten, as a ten whose just connected, to some idea of connection?

R. But you cannot be in adhesion with the teacher before you are in adhesion with one another.

S. But what is this addition because we never really emphasize that we are a ten and with the Creator.

R. The teacher is all inclusive, the sum total of the ten. When you are incorporated between you and you are incorporated with the teacher you can also incorporate with the Creator.

S. So this element we usually don’t take it into account. We have the ten, and there’s a connection with the Creator..

R. So it's too early, it's too early. It is too early to speak about it.

S. So how we will justify the states that are being revealed even now?

R. Which states do you have to justify? You have everything, all the good, all the abundance. You are being cared for like babies in complete devotion. You lack nothing, you have everything.

S. What is the addition of the Rav as the all-inclusive as a means to appear to the Creator?

R. Let's say he's the mediator, the connector, the adaptor between you and the Creator.

S. And right now we don't need to take this factor into account?

R. He is working, you are incapable but this connection works.

S. It’s enough for us to think that we are connecting between us, and from before us to the Creator Rav is working as a means even if we are not aware of it?

R. Right, just like little kids who can’t feel that someone is washing their clothes, and someone is cleaning for them, and preparing food, everything is ready. Where does it come from? It comes from somewhere.

S. We love you very much Rav.

R. I love you. I love you too, truly.

Reading Item 63 (01:11:55) “The poverty, which is the troubles, is the reason for the rising..”

41. R. (01:12:44) That there is no evil in the world, there is no darkness in the world, there is nothing. It is only good, and mercy will chase me all days of my life.

Reading Item 63 (01:12:58)

42. S. (01:13:40) A very relevant question from our ten. When the wicked ones appear in the ten and the group fights with the friends, frictions, troubles, people come and go, all kinds of problems, and we understand that in the end the Creator does everything and to understand is one thing but how to respond is a second thing. You told us there are two stages. How to respond when such wicked ones appear in the ten, such ruin?

R. Come to the friend and tell him let's talk about how the Creator is creating this conflict between us, making us fight, that it’s not you, it's not me, it’s the Creator causing us to fight. Talk about it, and then tell me how this conversation went. But this is the truth, this is correct.

S. It’s easy to say it but…

R. No, no, no. It’s the easiest way towards peace and connection and adhesion between the two.

S. Again it's the quickest way to what?

R. It is the shortest, the quickest path to peace and adhesion between the two. Because what are they talking about? Someone from above is inciting them to fight in order to connect them, to bring them closer and that's it, and it’s the truth. It is the truth so what do you mean easy? It is easy to say and from here you have the shortest path to correction.

43. S. (01:16:04) Can we build something without destroying the older one? Because there is a lot of questions, do we destroy what has been or the Creator or we do together? If you could explain it.

R. We don't need to engage in the shattering, in the ruin and destroying, we don't need to destroy anything, we need to, we need to talk about building and correction. Then along the way all those things that are already ruined in advance, the Creator did it in the sin of Adam HaRishon. From the very beginning all the ruins took place there, that is the source, the origin of all the ruins that are simply being revealed later. We need only to think about how we wish to see them corrected and as it's written everything will be clarified in thought. If we will think that everything exists in the connection and the correction then this is what we accept, and with that we can keep going.

S. Meaning that we live in the destruction, how should I phrase it, we just discover that we are living on the ruins of something else?

R. [no comment from Rav]

44. S. (01:17:46) Is it possible to reach the end of corrections, Gmar Tikkun during this life in this world?

R. Of course, of course, today you can do it as well, today. Throughout a single day, there is no problem, it all depends on you. I'm giving you a blessing and I wish for you to achieve the final correction in a day, go for it friend.

45. S. (01:18:55) Should we reach unfounded hatred between us in the ten in order to advance towards bestowal?

R. No, God forbid. Before us there is no goal of reaching hatred between us, there is only one goal of achieving connection and love between us. However on the way there, in order to perhaps know better where we need to be more connected, in a more advanced connection, so we discover where we lack connection and that is called the shattering. So this appears only for us to strengthen our connection, to tighten ourselves together.

46. S. (01:19:53) Sometimes when hatred awakens people try to correct it with their minds. On our way is it the only way to correct to uplift to more love?

R. Correct, correct.

47. S. (01:20:11) So it turns out that the Creator only awakens hatred between us, and we always have to overcome it with love?

R. Right, yes, simple.

48. S. (01:20:23) To ask for the force to bestow, that's the highest reward. How can we ask for something like that?

R. The force to bestow, I don't ask it for myself, I want to bestow to others, that's why I can ask for it.

49. S. (01:20:42) What is the difference between hating myself to hating the intention to receive for myself?

R. Hating myself, what is myself? Who am I? What exactly am I that I am hating? But my intention to think about myself all the time, about my benefit all the time, what will be with me, that’s an egoistic intention that I hate, and I want to be above it. I want to be in a state where I don't feel myself at all in the world, it’s as if I am floating above reality, and that is how I always want to live, above reality, above the world and from above to help everyone also connect and rise higher and higher above this ground.

50. S. (01:21:51) What is true love that comes against unfounded hatred?

R. It is love of the world, love of the world is the greatest love that we can imagine, it is that I don't take into account any detail, with regards to whomever I love but I adhere to him, I am included in him, and I only want to fulfill what he is missing, and I have no account to myself.

51. S. (01:22:49) Is the hatred that is developing in our times lead to even greater shattering and if so how to prevent it, like a third world war?

R. We can undergo the third world war in thought, everything is scrutinized in thought, and in truth the third world war is already happening, and we can go through it in an easy way through connection between us, we can, we can succeed in that, in taking advantage of all the evil, we will do it.

52. S. (01:23;48) What covers hatred before it's actually revealed?

R. It does not appear, so it does not need to be covered.

53. S. (01:24:02) What to do if hatred isn't revealed on the ten but in a dissemination team?

R. There are indeed sometimes work groups, work teams where out of the mutual work there are all kinds of frictions, feuds between them and we have to differentiate between professional disputes and hatred. Hatred is usually without almost any reason at all, I just hate them and that's it, so I think that we can reach a state where there is no hatred between us, that is possible. If there are such things and work teams then we need to think, what to do about it. We need to think, there it also has to do with correct hatred, not really hatred but rather more like the author's envy multiplies wisdom, meaning there's envy and there is competition there and there is disagreement there professionally and so forth. So in work groups in the meantime I wouldn't touch that let's wait a few more months and then begin to work on that.

54. S. (01:25:56) Through acting can we overcome a state of hatred?

R. Through acting? Of course, yes, try it. Try to act out something and then you will see how you can transition from a bad state to a good state. Only by playing, playing, or acting is very important.

55. S. (01:26:28) Our ten meets every day and does intense work but we don't have hatred or agreement, we just have a lot of personal problems outside of ten. Could you give us advice on our work in our ten?

R. No, more that's what I always say, really try to do everything we discuss, you're very close to succeeding and it is a shame to be in a delay.

56. S. (01:27:10) What brought the shattering of the temple, our shattered desires, or the Creator?

R. Of course, the Creator did it and he did that to us and now as well he also puts us through all the corrections, him and no other, there is None Else Besides Him. However, along with it we should agree with what we are going through and be bonded with each and every action seeing that it's him doing that and no one else and by that we come to Dvekut, adhesion and that's where our correction is about.

57. S. (01:28:03) What should I ask for a person who hates me?

R. Ask for mercy, that I won't get mad at him, and he won't get mad at me and ask myself whether he truly is getting mad at me, rightfully hating me maybe I am wrong in something and then I should try to somehow, well come to some sort of some equivalence with him, some covering or compensating or something. Compensate him, somehow, maybe.

58. S. (01:29:09) If the Creator awakens hatred so what's this sin that a person does?

R. If the Creator awakens hatred of course the Creator does everything yes.

S. What is man's sin?

R. Who told you that this sin was made by Adam HaRishon, not us, we just have to pay for it 613 times more than the sin he committed.

59. S. (01:29:46) What's the difference between purposeful hatred that helps us advance and hatred that deviates us from the path?

R. Purposeful hatred is hatred toward the evil within the person and hatred that is not purposeful is when a person hates what he sees in others.

60. S. (01:30:15) Is unfounded hatred that I hate a friend with no reason, does it help correction more than the hate with the reason?

R. I don't want to talk about that at all, this kind of hate or that kind of hate, am I right or wrong. I am always wrong; I am not right that I understood for everyone.

61. S. (01:30:45) What determines the final revelation of love because the hatred has to appear, when does the love have to appear above it?

R. I didn't understand.

S. We say the hatred must become revealed. What determines that love will succeed to appear above this hatred, or we will remain in hatred?

R. No, it says love will cover all crimes, where there is no hate there can be no love, there has to be hatred, rejection, all kinds of things like that and on top of them some compensation, some completion all the way to love, towards absolute love. That all of the hatred that came from the other side, the Creator invites it, that all of that enters the love and then love is on fire, there can't be any other love if it doesn't come out of hatred from within the remoteness, from all kinds of states of that nature, that are bad.

62. S. (01:32:15) The results of our studies in drawing the light do we attain the state that we learned about?

R. Yes, we have to learn how do we balance, balance the good and the bad so they're always somewhat weighed against each other. Typically we don't want to remember anything bad, just the good, just love, just connection, only embrace, kissing and embracing endlessly and that is not good, it's not good. This is incomplete and it cannot sustain itself, it can only be on the condition that we learn how to manage the love on top of the hate and each time cover the hate with more love and this way create this cover, love covers all crimes, that is what we need to learn. Then we will have no one who is not satisfied from life because as much as hatred and envy and whatever bad thing appears in him, he will know how to cover it with good, with love.

In one whom even if more evil appears he will know how to cover it more and there cannot be life without this sort of sandwich, love and hate as one and then they complement each other and we are like babies we want to feel only sweet, only sweetness and that is not good. We have to know how we discover a little bit of breakage between them, so you have both bitter and sweet together and they both support each other. There is no hatred without love, there's no love without hate, there's no correction without shattering and therefore this way we must also strengthen each other. When I talk to someone, when there is a husband and wife, they should talk about and they should get used to it, that between them there is both distance and hatred and love and both have an equal place and then only by covering hate with love, they can exist in a complete and correct way.

This is the problem, that's why in our time where the will to receive grows and grows, people can’t stand being next to each other, because they have to know how we cover all these things. We understand all the flaws that exist in the other and we know how to cover them together. Let's say we have a big package, a basket of deficiencies in the one and in the other and we cover them with love. The deficiencies remain, they remain they’re all there, inside, and we just cover them with love, we know that inside and we know by covering and more strongly and conclusively, that is how we can grow and the more we grow the more of these deficiencies will appear further and further until the final correction, all the deficiencies will appear and then we will thus rise.

63. S. (01:36:56) I want to bestow on the friends, but I don't feel that the light is growing through me in practice. Should I feel it or is it the prayer the action?

R. When you connect to the friends so that the light has room and path to go through from you to them and then you feel the light flowing through you and you're passing it through, for that you have to be connected to them in a positive attitude and the desire to bestow and thus you will feel the light going through you.

64. S. (01:37:40) When I see I did everything for a friend, and I pray but there is no result does that mean I'm doing something wrong, or I need to do nothing and just let the Creator do his thing?

R. The problem is you are doing something to the friend and not the Creator, you have to connect to the Creator and then you will feel how he passes goodness to the friend. Will you agree that it will pass to your friends, or you want to take it to yourself? Let's say that the Creator gives the friends some diamond ring. It's very big and impressive and beautiful and you see that you actually wanted it your whole life, you dreamed about it, so what now, what is happening here? Think about it. You have to discover the right attitude to your friend and then you will feel the Creator passes goodness through you to her and you pray to the Creator to give to your friend what she wants and you, passes through whatever he gives to her, you don't want to take a part of that, you don't want to receive that. Good things are happening.

65. S. (01:39:21) Why do we need to detect smaller disturbances that are happening, something so horrible?

R. It is not bad and horrible, it is not big, it just depends how we appreciate it, it is not horrible and huge.

66. S. (01:39:45) How can we bestow in order to bestow if we are only the will to receive?

R. By the light that reforms when it shines on us it makes our will to receive into a desire to receive in order to bestow and the desire to bestow in order to bestow. Meaning, gives us these levels everything is working in the will to receive, there are four levels, bestowing in order to bestow and then receiving in order to bestow and then between them, there is four more. Altogether there is four, that's what we learn about the four phases of direct light. What's the question? The light does it all, don’t worry. If you want to come closer to it, it will make this correction in you.

67. S. (01:40:48) So is it the Creator that is giving us the ability to cover hate with love, how to do that in practice?

R. Yes, it's the Creator who does in practice all our actions between hate to love, we just need to try to be closer to each other in the group. Not too long to get closer to the Creator but rather long to get closer to the friends and then we will get closer to the Creator, but to yearn for the Creator individually, directly, that is not good. That actually causes us shattering that is what Baal HaSulam writes, “beware of reaching out your hand to him.”

68. S. (01:41:49) If I recognize this is the Creator inciting disputes between us, how do we come to the recognition he is doing it, not us?

R. We don't need to come to that awareness, try to come together physically or virtually and turn to him and turn to him, write to him, talk to him. What is important you do it from your heart and demand that you want to reach his heart, feel his presence in your unified heart and that is all.

69. S. (01:42:37) Do we depend on one another to come out of ourselves or it's a tendency that a person has to strengthen himself?

R. One cannot come out of himself unless all of his friends literally dragged him by his ears, his hair, out of his ego, he cannot come out.

70. S. (01:43:07) Can the ten advance if there is a part that doesn't watch the lesson, how to work with those friends?

R. Still, if even a part is participating that is already good and the rest will incorporate with it, don't go to break the ten because of that, there are different states and their different times in the person where he's able or unable, it's not that simple. I, within the 45 years that I'm in the wisdom of Kabbalah, I saw many different states, there are different times.
