Part 1:

From Lo Lishma [not Lishma], we come to Lishma [Lishma] - Selected Excerpts from the sources. #5

1. Rav’s Introduction: Yes, it is actually the work before us that we come from a beastly state to a state called Lo Lishma which is also a great degree compared to all other people on the Earth. People do not even understand where they are or what they are living for and whatever their body pushes them to do and live, to go through life this is how they go through it until they reach a state called Lo Lishma, not for Her sake, and this Lo Lishma is a period which is a very important period it is written about it in many places. As much as we bless and how great we think Lishma is, so Lo Lishma is even greater than what we think about Lishma. And that this is how we advance, this is why we have to pay attention that as much as we respect the state of Lo Lishma that we still did not discover the Creator yet, we did not find the connection in the mutual bestowal, me for my beloved and my beloved for me but still this connection is already there. It’s not like they are telling us face to face but face to back. This is explained in many different places by Baal HaSulam and Rabash. My beloved is like the gazelle because a gazelle is turning it's head back when it is running away, this is what we also feel in the state of Lo Lishma, that sometimes it seems that there are states that are very close to the Creator and sometimes not and through all kinds of such relationships between the Creator and us we start more and more to feel this relations which is changing and that causes great changes in us that keep developing inside of us. That is how the Creator teaches us to be in contact with him through all kinds of states and actions and the this is how we come closer to him. Meaning that even though he is running away sometimes he turns to us and invites us to keep coming after him and then again and again. Until we start learning from all of his actions upon us. We learn to build the right attitude, a constant attitude to him. And in spirituality there isn't something that does not change. Spirituality changes every moment meaning if something doesn’t change it is not spirituality it is corporeality. Spirituality is in constant change of relations between us and the Creator and we constantly need to try and follow him. And we try through all these changes that we get from him and in this we from Lo Lishma to Lishma. And Lo Lishma is a great thing and we need to know how to use it, how to take advantage of it and afterwards we enter Lishma. This is basically the introduction so let's read.

Reading 5. Twice (06:07)

2. S. (08:44) What is the advancement in those states? What is the advancement? At the end of the text he is saying that precisely in these states that person is advancing but what is the advancement? He seems to be advancing backwards.

R. It could be that he feels that he's going backwards but this is also advancement. It is advancement if I am working on something and I see as much as this job is not complete yet and I have to do more and more additional tasks in my work and I am actually not happy about the work itself but on the other hand I am happy that I understand that it is not complete yet and I still have something else to add to it so it turns out that I am advancing. We still do not yet appreciate the work in Lo Lishma because we think that the main thing is to start feeling the Creator and to be in partnership with him and together do something, that I will know what I am doing, that I will feel what I am doing but it is not exactly like this. Also in Lishma when the person is reaching Lishma he is willing to work without a feeling or understanding or knowledge but just to have some kind of the inner understanding that he is going with all of his actions towards the Creator. And it is not the same understanding and feeling and attainment that he was thinking about before even before reaching Lo Lishma or even in Lishma but he is willing and ready to work in all the conditions, he just wants to adhere to the Creator in a way that even if he will not know or feel he just wants a single thing that whatever he is doing is good in the eyes of the Creator.

S. There was a sentence there, maybe we can find it; that all he wants is self love.

Reading: Yes, the days pass and that we can not come out of the state and all we want is self love.

R. Yes, this is what he discovers in the state of Lo Lishma.

S. So what will become of us?

R. This is what helping us to progress. Do you think that when the person reaches Lishma and enters Lishma he has no more deficiencies? And that he has no states that he is supposedly failing in him? We have to understand that without the change of states we are in a lack of feeling and this is why it is good for us to absorb all the states we are going through and see as much as they build in us the connection also between us and also with the Creator. I cannot enter into a connection with the Creator that is so tight but with the friends I can see and we can see the changes between us that is changing from one moments to the next and in that we build personal Partzufim of us and all sorts of connections and afterwards we start to discover in them all the presents of the Creator.

3. S. (14:34) You said and we also know that in spirituality there are constant changes. On the other hand we need to build some constant relation to the Creator. What is this constant relation?

R. That on top of all of these changes I only yearn for him. I want to accept him in the way he wants to reveal himself to me. I want to receive him in any form just that on my behalf I meet him through love, through opening of the heart and this is what I am expecting.

S. And another aspect of what you said at the beginning that I have to constantly be alert to the Creator's movements and states and react and respond to every state. How does it reconcile with the fact that on the one hand I have to give him a constant relation like that good that does good?

R. It’s an approach it is not an attitude. Whoever I am dealing with this is the upper force the one unique and unified there is none else besides him and he is good that does good. Then upon all those feelings that I feel that they lift me up and then they throw me down in all kinds of ways according to that I want to organize myself that there is nothing here but only a single force that is the good that does good and everything he is doing to me it is showing me the conditions and the exercises that in all the states I go through I will be connected to the good that does good.

4. S. (17:04) What can we learn from the changes between the friends in that and how does it promote us?

R. To learn from the changes in the ten I need to learn what I need to do in order to see them in an advanced, good and nice state. That they are connecting more and more and formulating more and more and this is the attitude I have to build and it is not really important what I feel from the Creator because that is what I feel in my qualities but I have to depict above that the gap between what I feel, between what I feel and the good that does good that is what stands before me in order to close down these gaps.

S. My feelings do not matter?

R. You are working with your feeling.

S. But I want to learn from the friends and the changes they go through?

R. You do not see the friends, you see only how you see the friends. There is no problem here. You are standing before a group that is with you in all of these corrections and what you need is to organise yourself to be adhered to them. Try to work with this in a relatively long time and you'll see how much it will help you and this is giving you the reality to work in, that you are constantly in a scrutiny. There is a lot written about this.

5. S. (19:57) He is writing that the gauge for progress in the work in Torah and Mitzvot is if we can aim at the Creator and then he discovers that he is not able to and then he actually becomes empty and he sees that he is retreating.

R. That is the sensitivity that the Creator is increasing in the person to the personal state so that he can close himself in the Creator. First with friends and then the Creator in a way, the most exalted way, the most delicate way that could be.

S. What is great about the state of Lo Lishma if you see that you are only going backwards?

R. Lo Lishma give you the feeling of deviation between you and the Creator and you can constantly correct yourself and bring yourself closer more and more and that that is something huge that you are constantly in corrections.

S. But in the state of deviation how can you do anything that is for the sake of the Creator? You cannot do that.

R. You come closer, you try. You try constantly to imagine to yourself that you are in the force that is good and does good and that there is none else besides him, that he is inviting you to come closer to him according to equivalence of form, equivalence of qualities and actions and thoughts and desires and in this way you gradually advance; me for my beloved and my beloved for me.

S. But what is the role of an emptiness that is created in the Kli, in the vessel? What is the role of this emptiness in this process of trying to aim for the Creator that there is emptiness in the vessel that is made when you see that you are unable. So what is the role of such a reality, this emptiness?

R. That the vessel grows. The vessel grows according to it’s feeling, it's intensity, according to it's volume if you want to say and then it turns out that by this we come closer to the Creator, we acquire more and more discernments from him and this is how the feel ourselves how we are compared to him.

S. But in what exactly do we grow because if the person is remained empty in what is he growing?

R. The Creator?

S. Not the Creator, the vessel. The vessel that cannot aim.

R. That we from day to day we feel that it is as it was yesterday but today the distance between us is revealed again and then we have to justify and correct it.

S. Ok, what I try to ask is if the gauge for coming closer is if I managed to aim for the sake of the Creator and I see that I cannot for the sake of the Creator so what is the gauge in the end that I am not aimed so the gauge is that he succeeds in aiming?

R. If you are able to aim for the sake of the Heavens that means that you are in complete bestowal, that you are like the Creator so if this is what you feel and you'll see that for the time being you have no doubt about it so that is called that you are in adhesion with him.

S. It is clear but again what we are reading that he is checking his trying to aim but he sees that he cannot succeed, what is his gauge? How can he measure that he is taking steps forward if you cannot aim for the sake of the Creator?

R. But in the meantime he's making efforts, he is doing actions, he is connecting more to the group because he has no choice otherwise he would be completely falling and not finding himself so it turns out that he is advancing.

6. S. (25:36) What is the state of posterior?

R. Posterior means that person doesn’t feel that he is advancing in a positive way.

S. How can we advance in the state of posterior?

R. We understand, we feel, we remember what is written about it, that my beloved is like the gazelle that even if he is showing his back and the Creator is supposedly distancing himself he is escaping from the connection with the person it is just seems that for the person that he is still advancing as a result just as the gazelle is escaping and is turning it's head back and then by that it draws the one chasing him so he invites him to come after him. He turns his head back and looks at the person following him, chasing him and running away. And this is how we need to understand that it is the Creator that he is showing us his back, that he is supposedly does not want to show himself or reveal himself but in this chasing when he escapes those are the important discernments that we need to know and correct in order to truly come closer to him. This is why in revealing his posterior we get rewarded later on the stage.

S. When we feel that the Creator is running away that we cannot have a grip on anything is this his revelation? Is his what we try to grip to?

R. For now we have to imagine this form to ourselves and then we will see how gradually you locate yourself as being in this form, in this connection with the Creator and this is reality.

S. You said before that we want to adhere to the Creator in every situation and to know only one single thing, that we are favoured by the Creator, what does it mean to be favoured by the Creator and how do I know that the Creator likes me?

R. To be favoured by the Creator I can be in each and every moment that I say that there is none else besides him and this is why the state I am in with my qualities, with all of my conditions that all that is coming from him and we have to feel ourselves as if we are in contact with him, just not in a revealed way but in a concealed way. And why in a concealed way? What is the difference? The difference is that the person can get used to the fact that he's not getting anything from the Creator, that he does not fill through reception but he can also through the posterior be adhered to the Creator.

S. Does the person advance in the state of posterior even against his will?

R. Of course.

S. Even if he does not connect everything to the Creator?

R. There are times for this and there are times for that but still what ever will be the connection through the posterior is very important. For the person that was not rewarded yet with the connection of face-to-face the connection through the posterior to him is salvation and learning and collecting experience and in this way he gets used to being connected to the Creator.

7. S. (30:53) Sometimes there is a situation or sometimes I may speak not nice to a friend. Sometimes I don’t speak nicely to a friend in the ten. How do I relate to this, how can I correct it? How to relate to this disturbance?

R. These are very personal things and that’s why it’s divided into a lot of discernments. I don't know, try and show him that it happened not because of him but because of some external conditions. I don’t know. It’s worthwhile to blur it out and to bring the relationships to a corrected state.

S. But on a deeper level should I pray? How to deal with it, I want to improve it, I feel that in this way I’m not bringing contentment to the Creator. So is the way to deal with it through prayer?

R. Yes in prayer.

8. S. (32:28) In states of Lo Lishma, not for her sake we have the greatest help from the Creator because we don’t feel, we are devoid of feelings and what is checked from above is to what extent…I am asking can we ask that what is checked is the level of devotion and loyalty of the friends?

R. I don’t understand.

S. We don’t have the instruments to measure our advancement in states of Lo Lishma. The fact that we’re sitting and scrutinizing before a Kabbalist all the deficiencies, it’s like this, it’s like that, is this advancement, is this advancement? We cannot really check our advancement but we still are still making progress. As you said the way of spirituality is every single moment. How can we check according to the level of devotion and loyalty of the student to the path, is this the only gauge?

R. Through the connection to the group, through the connection to the group.

9. S. (34:14) We often say that the Creator is a law, He’s constant, I the lord do not change and those feelings in all kinds of states is the created being. When we study or are in the lesson there’s this yearning to really be in bestowal, in adhesion. We realise what we learn and read and you feel it your heart that it’s true and at the same time great fear and rejection awaken and resistance and this fear that it will disconnect you or completely erase you. These two things always go together and you’re facing yourself with this two things within you and you can’t move. It’s true that we’re working very strongly now in the ten and we know that the answers are there somehow but still it’s not clear in this state what you really, really want. It feels like face and back of our whole tendency, inclination towards spirituality and how to realise it. It seems like a long time is passes and these questions become harder and more burning but it doesn’t feel like there’s progress or advancement, it’s just complete acceptance and that’s it. So what do we do, what should we get in the ten?

R. I see the goal that has to be revealed in the complete connection between us and except for that, nothing else. All the qualities, flavors that are in attaining that goal are revealed in the connection between us and for this I need to yearn. I have nothing else to add.

S. It feels like the truth but a truth that you’re not in.

R. I can’t say anything about that. You know it is like you’re invited to some kind of a family gathering and you go there to a meal let's say every day. You don’t taste anything good in that meal but everything is flavorless and you’re searching and searching for flavors and you can’t discover anything. So what do you do? Nothing to do, you just expect that the flavor will come.

10. S. (37:42) What are the Torah and Mitzvot we have to for do the sake of above? In relation to what can I check myself for whether I’m doing it for the sake of heaven or for myself?

R. To come from the love of people to the love of the Creator, this is what we need to do.

11. S. (38:20) Doesn't the revelation of the face annul the work in above reason?

R. No, it doesn’t cancel the work above reason because you have always more to go. And work above reason you can’t cancel it through spiritual actions, no; it’s not that it is in corporeality. In spiritual actions the more you advance you actually add more and more above reason because it is the only means to advance, to grow.

12. S. (39:15) Two months ago If I looked at the connection with my ten I’d search for Gmar Tikkun and how the Creator’s being revealed in the connection between us. Now with all the burdenings of thinking how not to run away from the ten, how to be adhered to them even a bit, how do we work from here?

R. You went into a more detailed work so this is why it’s like that.

S. But what should I do? There’s no ability to move.

R. It will pass, this is temporary. You still don’t see where you can really advance with what discernments, it passes.

S. So just to wait?

R. No, don't just wait, do. Do advance toward connection among the friends until you discover the quality of the Creator.

S. Right now it seems that nothing I try has a tendency for connection.

R. Keep looking just like you are looking for mushrooms in the forest, maybe there maybe here, etcetera.

13. S. (41:04) How can a person constantly change himself to a state where he wants to reach Lishma?

R. Through adhesion to friends.

S. So in the friends there is always the chance to reach this state of Lishma and I just adhere to them?

R. Yes.

14. S. (41:45) When the person is in Lo Lishma how can he know that everything came from the Creator so he can keep making efforts in that state?

R. That is truly a question but the person still gets knowledge that his evil inclination too awakens from the Creator. So the person should keep going and see that it’s like that, as it is written I have created the evil inclination and I have created the Torah as a spice.

15. S. (42:41) You said that we can hold onto Lishma through adhesion with the friends. Adhering to the friends, that’s Lishma?

R. No, the adhesion to the friends is a means. Lishma, for her sake is when we achieve a state of adhesion with the Creator.

S. How through adhering to the friends do we reach a state of being good in the eyes of the Creator?

R. By yearning for it, thinking about it, having a tendency toward it as usual. We’re not asked to have discernments above our nature. From Lo Lishma we come to Lishma.

S. But still in the connection of the friends the quality of for the sake of the Creator is revealed.

R. This is already the next degree, a much higher degree where in the connection between us, between the friends a connection to the Creator is revealed. This is truly a significant ascent from the lower world to the upper world. Let's hope we discover it and feel it.

S. The connection between the friends is what we have to work on every day and every meeting. Lishma is our effort, it’s our purpose?

R. No, Lishma is a gift from above when you are given a quality that is called Lishma and then you begin to feel the upper world.

16. S. (45:40) What should we learn when it seems that the Creator is escaping from us?

R. We have to learn how to accept Him even when it seems to us like he's running away because it’s a lie, he’s not running away. He is rather teaching us in this way, with this playing, with this game. He is constantly teaching us to yearn for connection with Him.

17. S. (46:22) When a person feels that he can’t reach the state of Lishma while being in Lo Lishma does that mean his advancement stopped or is this also an advancement?

R. It’s a state of advancement, yes.

18. S. (47:22) In Lo Lishma are we in a state of bestowing in order to bestow meaning before receiving in order to bestow?

R. Maybe to some extent you could put it this way but that’s not the difference, we will learn it.

19. S. (48:01) He is telling us in the article that when we feel bad and we’re not advancing that’s  where the vessel is. So how do we connect to the Creator in those moments of complete darkness and when we feel this distance?

R. By connecting among us in the group. Then it turns out that the greater the darkness the more of an opportunity we have to connect between us and in this way attain the Creator as the advantage of the light from within the darkness.

20. S. (49:05) In the state of Lo Lishma can we say that we’re learning how to conduct or manage our desire?

R. We do it with the help of the reforming light.

21. S. (49:31) Could there be a state that we look at the friends and see their devotion and persistence and it seems to us that they’re in Lishma even though they don't see it yet?

R. Yes, we will learn these things and then we’ll know.

22. S. (50:07) Is the right attitude to be in gratitude for the opportunity to work Lo Lishma in order to not flaw the greatness of the Creator or should we always yearn for Lishma and that’s it?

R. We should constantly yearn for Lishma, yes.

23. S. (50:45) Everyday we think of our goal and here it says that the days go by and he can’t come out of the state he’s in. So everyday we see these things and it seems like a tall mountain. What are these things that disturb us in the work?

R. Our ego seems to us this way and it depicts for us all kinds of tall mountains and frightening states but it's only our ego depicting it this way.

24. S. (51:46) In order to be connected to the Creator that means that I myself have to be like the Creator?

R. I didn’t understand, again.

S. In order to be connected to the Creator does it mean that I myself have to be like the Creator in His qualities?

R. I don’t fully understand what you’re asking.

S. To be in contact with the Creator does this mean that I become like the Creator, that I resemble Him? That connection with Him, that’s what makes me like the Creator? The connection with the Creator is that what makes a person as the Creator, to resemble the Creator?

R. Similar to the Creator? We still need to scrutinise what it means to be similar to the Creator.

25. S. (53:22) You said that Lishma is a gift from above but that was given to us without our request. On the other hand we have to ask for Lishma so what should we do, ask for Lishma for the Friends?

R. Yes it’s written that Lishma is a gift from above and a gift is not something you ask for. It is given and the recipient returns his relation toward it, his gratitude. As we approach it we’ll begin to understand these things. Right now we don’t have the understanding or the feeling of such relationships.

S. Is Lishma and Machsom, the barrier the same?

R. I don’t want to get into these things, it will only confuse you.

26. S. (54:51) Maybe we can read this excerpt by the Rabash again and you’ll explain what Rabash means.

Reading 5. Again (55:02)

27. S. (57:44) So what is Rabash saying here?

R. That is how you ask me? Read the excerpt again, read it in front of everyone.

Reading Excerpt 5 (58:10) “His purpose in not for Her sake is to achieve for Her…”

28. S. (1:00:36) It sounds like a person needs an awareness to work on strengthening his deficiency to the Creator and see that he's nothing and strengthen his longing; that’s the work in the left?

R. I don't know.

S. Because?

R. I don't know I don't want to scrutinize it.

29. S. (01:01:15) He says that instead of seeing that the disruptors disruptions are nothing he says they are tall mountains, he also said that for the wicked it's like threat of a spider web.  What does the person gain from this one who walks in the path or advanced from this?

R. He sees how much his qualities are against him.

S. So he gets discernments that he can't overcome it?

R. Of course and it forces him more and more to connect to the Creator.

30. S. (01:02:13) I counted the word ….as if five times that's that mean if I supposedly if I'm able to depict it, that is exertion?

R. I don't know

S. That is what he's describing here?

R. I don't know, what are you telling me about, five times it's labor and a lesson that it's not labor, I don't understand this calculation where you took it from?

31. S. (01:02:55) What do you expect of us to do right now in the lessons, it feels that we’re asking questions for at least an hour and we're not really getting answers. We're reading the excerpt again and again, so what do you expect of us, what is the right thing to do, what should we do in this state we are in right now?

R. You need to feel what state you are in.

S. What does that mean?

R. Just like that, to what extent it's toward the Creator to what extent it's toward your will to receive to what extent it's towards the friends, to feel where you are and position yourselves correctly with respect to all these discernments.

S. What is right to do in the lesson right now except to bombarding you with questions that eventually you don't answer. What is the right thing to do in the lesson?

R. During the lesson we have to try to understand, to pray, to understand what Rabash and Baal HaSulam wanted in this excerpts. We have nothing else, and through some understanding that we have, some grip that we have we want to adhere to that writer.

S. How can I through the reading adhere to the writer more or let go of my questions and adhere to him?

R. That you first of all want to understand him to feel him to be in him to exist in him and once you come to some connection like that more internal rather than superficial, then you try to get a better and better grip on it, clear?

32. S. (01:05:41) According to what we read, men exerts makes efforts and efforts but he still can't get there, he's the spirit of his forces but still he doesn't get to the state of the face, is that because in order for not to bring it into his will to receive he is not ready to take it about reason yet?

R. A person feels that he is not making progress and both his feeling and his perception is understanding he's reading of the situation all of that comes to him from the Creator there is no doubt about it and then he nevertheless wants to get a grip on it and he says that such a grip of the Creator even though he gets nothing out of it it is better than anything, my death is better than my life, that if in the adhesion to the Creator that I can achieve I feel emptiness, deficiency, lack of success, etc., it is still better than feeling than to feel full and alive, in egoistic states that are filled with some false satisfaction.

S. But here there’s something that I look at it and I hear that a person invests all his forces in there, he advances but he's still not in the revelation of the face? So why is he not in revelation of the face, so he won't take it to the will to receive he hasn't corrected himself yet?

R. Yes yes go on.

33. S. (01:08:14) How to advance in the work if we don't have any grasp not in the Creator not in the connection with the friends not the goal and the path is unclear?

R. Whatever the upper force lets us feel we should grip onto it and expand the point of contact.

34. S. (01:08:50) How in Lo Lishma can a person determine that he's advancing and if it's not corrected state?

R. Because we don't know how can we determine what can I determine? If I'm going to stay from which you cannot determine anything?

S. So they're asking how can a person determine that he’s not advancing from the state?

R. He can’t determine, his approach is wrong, he simply has to continue according to what you're reading.

35. S. (01:09:24) How to know in every moment what the Creator wants from me in my daily decisions in order to decide together with him?

R. Study articles as much as possible more and more, repeat them, and this way we will understand what he's talking about.

36. S. (01:09:49) There are two items that were sent about the gazelle and if you want we can read it

R. Read it.

Reading Baal HaSulam Letter 43,

Reading Rabash (01:10:17) “I’ve already said and reminded you the words…”

Continuing Reading next excerpt by Rabash (01:11:27) “It is written in the book…”

37. S. (01:12:30) It says at the end of the excerpt that the longing and the craving is the face itself. Can you explain this?

R. This is how we build the interior from the posterior because the yearning is added to the feeling of the darkness and it brings the negative image of darkness into the positive into the light. But it is more complicated and that we will talk about it later; how it becomes from darkness to light and in general bitter to sweet as he says, it is not simple how we switch our qualities and then achieve congruence with the Creator, we begin to feel like him.

S. So in this state how can we come to see this process as a mean of giving contentment to the Creator, because in the beginning of the lesson you said that we need to appreciate to cross in not for Her sake itself, so how can we appreciate this process of ups and downs as a means to give contentment to the Creator?

R. Appreciating being in Lo Lishma is something else, it means we're willing to be in every single state if in the end it advances us towards the truth. There are many explanations to it, this is number one, number two as it is written, the more a person yearns for Her sake he needs to know that actually not for Her sake is much higher than for Her sake that he is depicting to himself, meaning we still don't understand these discernments how deep they are and it is all ahead of us.

S. Can we say that this process is like two sides of a coin that we build for her sake above for not for her sake and then again so in each and every state I see that my cancellation was not enough?

R. Yes of course this is also this way.

38. S. (01:16:09) From the first excerpt in the end they said that a person cannot see the state that was described because it would be Panim, and it seems that the group of bb that we orient ourselves towards and the Creator is showing the whole world vessel the Panim of Achoraim, my question is can this be used towards such an attack of support of mutual support that we need to carry the friends through this gap and how can the woman help the man in this case, we understand this is challenging?

R. If we are connected connecting coming closer then we build the connection between us which is like a bridge with which we can cross any of abyss whatever we have, this is what we need to know in advance, what is important to us is not to look down, what an abyss is down there and how it scares us but rather to know that if we connect we fly with all and all the worlds and there is nothing we should be afraid of, only under the condition that we hold on to each other.

39. S. (01:18:18) When the awareness is coming of the state of Lo Lishma is it already the division of the vessel where the light can be received or is it before the birth of the vessel?

R. This is the beginning of the making of the vessel.

40. S. (01:18:50) Can we say that the desire is clothing the feeling?

R. Yes.

41. S. (01:19:20) What is so bad to be in this?

R. It's not so bad; we should always see the Panim, the face, and the posterior only as the realization how much it helps us to advance, is this clear?

42. S. (01:20:01) The state when even a little obstacle seems as great, there is an element of devaluating was done before hand, even though what was done beforehand it’s not little, is a lot, and the hatred and the shame towards it that we can't even overcome these little barriers is it also a state of progress? how to work with it?

R. We always advance, we're always always advancing but it seems to be this way or that way it doesn't matter but we are always advancing towards the end of correction that’s it. Is only that it is very important for us to exert, to give our exertion and effort.

43. S. (01:21:21) Can you clarify please Lo Lishma and Lishma; are these states or recognition of myself of the states, or in that recognition is it the yearning or the lack of yearning into the Creator?

R. These are our internal States.

44. S. (01:22:09) How can we prepare the transition in the ten and encourage the confidence in the ten so that the friends aren't always under this press?

R. Example, set an example for each other how much you can rise above it and live above it to exist in the clouds.

S. (01:22:40) From this excerpt how can we value the state when I'm in resistance to come to a meeting to go to the lesson, whereas going to the lesson on automatic or with joy?

R. First of all come to the lesson no matter what. Secondly be as much as you can in the feeling of happiness as you do that.

S. For some people it's automatic?

R. Each has his own. I'm not looking at anyone else, only myself.

45. S. (01:23:37) What is the role of the Arvut between us into the transition to Lishma?

R. Without the Arvut we cannot attain the state of Lishma because we have no vessel. Arvut is building the vessel and the state we get within the Arvut, within this vessel is called for Her Sake.

S. Does the Arvut start with Lo Lishma?

R. We cannot say it’s already Arvut but its on the way there.
