Part 1:
Rabash. Article No. 20, 1988. What Is the Reward in the Work of Bestowal

Reading Article. (00:38) “Our sages said, if you learned much Torah,..”

1. R. (27:31) What a beautiful article

2. S. (27:41) It's written that a person didn't think and is immersed in self love and that from each and every passing day he discovers that he is more coarse and then they say, don't escape the campaign, don't look at how you are not advancing but they believe that if a person puts in the effort in order to be rewarded with vessels of bestowal, surely the Creator will give him, but with each passing day he sees that the Creator lets him be more coarse and more coarse and more coarse so we will be given bestowal?

R. Currently the Creator is adding to him in the corrupted vessels, this is because the person succeeds in going forward without vessels of bestowal, however he doesn't feel it yet but nevertheless, he acquires vessels of bestowal as well of vessels of reception. All in all, he is advancing. It's just that he doesn't feel that yet that he is gaining in bestowal. Well for that we need to reach a certain status, a certain degree, a certain amount, a number and then it is revealed.

3. S. (29:23) What's the reward to be able to work without reward?

R. We need to work in order to reach resembling the Creator and this will be our reward.

S. What is this thing that he works because he is great and he is all?

R. Yes, because the Creator is the only One, the ruler of everything, the center of everything and we depend only on Him, and I need to do everything in order to bring myself truly closer to Him and reach adhesion.

S. What is the reward that is receiving and not because he's great and ruling?

R. This is exactly the reward that it will be in adhesion with him because he's great and ruling.

S. What does it mean to work without reward?

R. I don't want anything else, that I want to bestow to the Creator I want to be His servant and beside that I don't see any other reward.

S. How do you see the reward or the abundance from the treasure of a free gift?

R. The treasure of the free gift, it means that we do not demand anything for our work and then we receive from that same source, the feeling, the abundance.

4. S. (31:20) He repeats in the article the effort that a person has to exert to believe that the employer will trust his employer to pay him a reward for his work. How can he put in such effort? How can he exert it? I want to imagine that starting right now, I am starting to exert in that direction, what do I have to do?

R. If I do something I want to see some payment, it's impossible without that. The only question is what is the payment that I am expecting?

S. I want to exert, to believe, is the reward belief, faith?

R. No, the reward is the force of bestowal that you hope to get from the Creator.

S. Is it possible that most of the time I am on the path and I'm not so interested in the reward?

R. What does it mean that you are on the path?

S. You know as they say, it's kind of a routine. You know it's convenient to me. Maybe that's the reward? I feel it feels convenient. I have friends, I have a path, I am not thinking I'll be giving contentment to the Creator most of the time?

R. Yes.

S. No translation

R. Yes, that happens as well like babies, or little children, they live, why did they live because they live, which one of them knows why and what for that I am growing up in order to be a grown-up. Now there is no such thing. They don't have such plans. They simply live, they build themselves each and every moment. Whereas, the more we grow they already have questions: why, what for, for what purpose and so on.

S. I am trying to imagine a state where I wake up in the morning and my calculation, everything that motivates me is to bestow to the friends, to help them. They are the center point of interest in my life and for the time being it is the other way around. How do we make this leap? That the friends become the center of my life? They are the main thing, they are the goal, they occupy a volume in my life?

R. You need to think more about it, that whatever you build, you are building it together you are building it together. Let's say some system, an airplane, some machine, it doesn't matter what and then you invest together in it so that when you finish investing you get a reward but for the time being this work occupies you, all of you.

S. Meaning we must constantly reach a state of collaboration, of teamwork?

R. Without that it's impossible. Without this it is impossible if you are talking about the Pyramids. Let's say how can you lift a block there, it's a thousand tons. How can you do it? You need many people, you need a lot of effort. That's it.

S. We saw in the Ten that a project for the sake of the society is a great solution. Every Ten has to have a project?

R. So do, go ahead and bring us more such things.

5. S. (36:09 He gives an example in the article that a person acquires a profession and in three years, five years, a carpenter or a blacksmith or a doctor. When here does a person acquires a profession, when does he become a professional here?

R. When he receives into his hands forces that are for the work and forces that are against the work and then he starts working from both sides, both directions.

S. What does it mean to become a professional in Kabbalah?

R. To be a professional, a craftsman in Kabbalah it's that you feel yourself and what qualities you are in and what exactly the Creator requires of you and what you need to demand from Him. Without these two directions you will not be able to advance.

6. S. (37:33) He writes in the article, let only loyal people enter. What does it mean loyal people?

R. Loyal people or faithful people are people who already received a correction and they do everything only in the force of bestowal.

7. S. (38:04) What is the inversion that he writes about where in the beginning he reaches despair from seeing how he is regressing and then he says, then he says to not to look that he's not advancing, rather he should believe that he feels exerting and acquiring vessels of bestowal the Creator will give it to him?

R. Yes, that we are still in the will to receive. We also measure our path according to how much we receive a bit more, a bit more and according to this device, the instrument of the will to receive, we measure our advancement. Whereas, if we advance towards the will to bestow then in that, we don't have any inner device that can tell us, now you are giving more, you are giving more, but now it seems to us that we are losing, it seems to us that we are not acquiring anything that we are truly in a deficit. Here there is a place for a person to be mistaken or complain and say, “I am getting nothing out of this work, I am quitting,” because going towards bestowal for him,it is not some progression, it is not an ascent. He may want to quit, he will say, “I'm not making any progress.”

S. We are speaking of a person who wants to be able to make actions without receiving?

R. Well, that's what he says.

S. What is the inversion? What is this what he says and what does he understand?

R. He is still working in his nature of reception even though in his thought he seemingly would have liked to reach in order to bestow but really show him an action of in order to bestow, truly, he will not be able to execute it, he will run away from it.

S. It's clear to him that he's running away from it and he wants to acquire the strength not to run away from it?

R. What does that mean that he wants to receive the strength? How can it be that he is in order to receive but he wants to receive to get forces in order to bestow.

S. He reads and every once in a while he receives an impression and he writes it down from the text, from the teacher and from the society that it is good to be in bestowal and he wishes to be in this form?

R. Okay, so he hears it.

S. Yes, he hears it and then a second line of the smallest thing you cannot do until he looks and he says I am regressing. Then he tells him to not look into how he's not advancing. What kind of advice is that?

R. Because we need to continue as much as possible in order to bestow, even though he is not even capable of it, at least one should put in all of his effort.

S. The advice is for a person to advance, to see, to do actions but not only does he not advance but he becomes more material and that's called advancement?

R. It's called advancement advancing towards the truth.

S. How can a person feel that he has no more than his own vessels? If a person feels that he's regressing, how can he receive any strength when all his vessels, his mind is telling him he's regressing?

R. One has to go above reason above the mind and ask the Creator that he will teach him. What does it mean in order to bestow?

8. S. (43:02) It says that the movement, any movement, has to improve the quality of the rest, meaning my reward should be exertion?

R. Yes.

S. Exertion in what to serve the Creator with the force of bestowal?

R. Exertion in as much as I try, well let's put it simply, as much as I try to go or work against my desire.

S. That I constantly have to work above reason?

R. Yes. if it is possible if it is possible.

9. S. (43:55) The greatest, highest reward is not that you remain as a nine-year-old but you receive your role as a human, Adam who can serve the Creator, isn't that the greatest motivation a person tells him he doesn't want to diminish himself?

R. I didn't quite understand what you are trying to say.

S. He writes that from 9 years old, he keeps repeating himself on this, he goes from the quality of reception to the quality of bestowal, from receiving in order to receive, from receiving in order to bestow, this is the greatest motivation there is that a person should have and not to repeat it over and over.

R. So what is your question?

S. Isn't that one of the strongest vessels to move us forward?

R. Possibly. I don't know, I don't know.

10. S. (45:15) How can a person discern between a state where he is advancing and in return the Creator lets him feel that he's regressing and a state where a person is stuck and not advancing? What is the way to evaluate his state?

R. According to how he relates to the environment.

S. Appears to him that he's regressing, that his attitude to the environment lets to say he is immersed in self-love, he wants to get to love others but he sees that he's stuck in one place. How can you understand it, he is stuck in one place because he's not working, he is not exerting that's why he's stuck or he's working and that's what he's feeling, what he's the way to discern know?

R. You have a problem that you need to know. Here it's not talking about what a person should know, a person should only establish himself so that from one moment to the next he’s advancing towards bestowal, that's it. In order to advance towards bestowal he doesn't need to know much.

S. What does it mean to advance in bestowal?

R. Each and every moment find out what does it mean to be in bestowal and try to perform a certain action towards that.

11. S. (46:56) He writes if he receives the pleasure because he wants to give contentment to the upper one he acquires equivalence of form and then he has two things in receiving the pleasure, one that he doesn't remove himself from the Creator while receiving the pleasure and two, that he doesn't have any deficiency, the first thing is what does it mean that he doesn't receive pleasure from wanting to delight the upper one?

R. He is giving the upper one, he's doing something towards the upper one, he gets pleasure from the action itself.

S. The action is that we come toward the Ten, to connection?

R. Towards the ten, the friends, the Creator, when we take a step towards them and that we feel pleasure.

S. What does it mean that he does not feel any deficiency upon receiving the pleasure?

R. While receiving the pleasure he doesn't feel any flaw or deficiencies, it's the opposite, he feels he is his deficiency by filling the others, the society.

S. But here we always fall into self reception, how do we ensure we don't receive?

R. Well this depends on the magnitude, on the greatness of the one that you are working for, the greatness of the society, the friend, the Creator in your eyes.

S. From that, the question comes that he writes, he does not become far from the Creator. What does it mean that the person feels far from the Creator? How can we imagine that in order to understand what it means to move closer to Him?

R. I've seen the Creator opposite me, always that he's constantly imagining to himself that he is opposite the Creator and he's performing all of his actions for Him, towards Him.

S. And if I don't have that depiction it means that I'm far from the Creator?

R. You don't have any yardstick, any measurement.

S. If I have this yardstick or measurement, how do I ensure that I don't move far away from the Creator?

R. That you hold on to the society.

12. S. (49:20) I heard you say something along the lines of the desire to know, a person needs to know, this desire to understand to know will be a barrier on the path to spirituality, now we're reading this article and we ask many questions about these articles and it seems like he's detailing all these steps with this desire to explain this to us. I'm told, don't think of food and then they write an entire article about it recipes and how you have to prepare the and flavors and the end he says don't think about food, why is he going through so much trouble to detail in everything and then at the end he says you don't need to know?

R. Because we feel all these stages in our will to receive and then we so we need to feel them, we need to go through them and after we go through them, along with the fact that we go through them, we also need to rise above it, and feel and understand and determine that we're not doing it for these flavors of the food itself but rather in order for us to have a connection towards it, towards what we're doing in short, in principle, from all of the actions that we go through, we need to make the Creator greater in our eyes, that's it. Actually we don't want anything besides that, that He will be the greatest and the only one, the one who engulfs everything and does everything and that we will constantly be directed towards Him with our faces towards Him, turning towards Him, and then we will not be mistaken.

S. I'm asking about the attitude towards the teacher's writings. Here there's text where we don't understand anything about them, we read and it's only to feel the author and try to incorporate through him and the reforming light and their articles like this one where I seemingly understand what he's writing about. I might be able to identify what he's saying here, but I understand from you that I shouldn't approach it as if I'm learning and I'm trying to understand with my intellect and the process, but it's disturbing me because of the desire to know, I will never know in the end?

R. But if you cancel your mind and you only accept it in your emotions then nothing is left in you from the article, it's as though you heard some music that went by and you're moving off.

S. So to bring my intellect into the process?

R. Something has to be there.

S. How to do it without it disturbing me?

R. I don't know how to put it in words, I don't know how to say it, it's like in music, you have those who listen and they understand the music itself with all the internality in it, the tonalities and there are those who just listen, so we want as much as possible to get into it, so that it will play on all of our inner instruments, these words.

13. S. (53:58) It turns out many times that I come out of the lesson we have a lesson summary and I'm excited and the lesson and I'm alive and I ask a question the lesson ends I try to remember what happened and I'm in a blackout so you told the friend that in such a state it's not good, so I'm trying to understand?

R. What do you mean not good?

S. You said a person has to use his mind so you come out of the lesson with something otherwise you're coming out of the lesson with nothing, but I have such states where I'm seemingly in the lesson and I'm even now asking questions in the lesson but when I come out of the lesson I don't even remember to reconstruct it unless I open it up and read what even happened in the lesson what we are even talking about it. I'm trying to understand what the work is, everything we're saying now I feel that the work is only in the donkey to the load, whatever happens happens and with no expectations?

R. Yes, only in the society can you solve these problems, only in the society, otherwise you're not working with the right vessels, it's a waste of effort. When a person himself wishes to solve by himself the questions and the lessons from reading the article, he himself, by himself, without connection with other vessels meaning the friends, what does he get out of it? He doesn't open it up correctly. All the articles in the wisdom of Kabbalah are about connecting us together in the vessel of Adam HaRishon, that's it. Meaning the Creator created a small vessel, Adam HaRishon, he shattered it, out of the shattering all of the systems came out, all the systems that through the shattering they grew all the faces 620 times, connect, we have to connect them all together, that's why our entire work is in the direction of connection.

14. S. (57:22) The friends were talking before about a state that they defined as stuck in my place. Is there such a state in spirituality where the Creator being is stuck or doesn't move?

R. Relative to the created being it's so.

S. This is in the vessels of the will to receive?

R. Yes.

S. That they're not developed? That is the quality of bestowal, There is no such state as the quality of being stuck Correct?

R. Correct.

S. Another question is about my mind, my intellect, is it correct to assume that the purpose of bringing in my mind and understanding is in order for my mind to despair from the understanding and the vessels of my mind?

R. I didn't understand.

S. Should my mind, my intellect come to a feeling that in my mind I'm not capable of understanding and receiving anything, and turn to get help?

R. The will to bestow.

15. S. (58:30) I heard you say that before that in order to advance towards bestowal that a person doesn't need to know much, so what do we need to know what's the meaning of a person needs to know so there he does bring his mind and scrutinizes?

R. That the main thing is connection. According to the scale of connection he opens up his vessels of perception and sensation only according to the size of connection.

S. While he reads the article he hears questions: should I operate all of my intellect, should I work this way or just let it go a bit and just search for connection between the friends?

R. You can't do one without the other, you cannot, he must activate his mind as well and through the mind to feel the connection and through the connection to feel the new state.

16. S. (59:36) There are the social articles by Rabash and there he's very clear and speaks about the relations in the group and there are the other articles where if I hear you correctly we actually need to read them also as discernments that we're looking for only in the connection between us and the Ten, meaning in those articles also that we're reading by Rabash were he seemingly talking to us about man's relationship to bestow to the quality of bestow and all these scrutinies we need to find them only in the relation between us in the friends?

R. Yes.

S. For example now we're talking in this article about asking for reward which is not to receive a reward, so I can depict this correctly only by bring it into the system between friends where there I become this vessel that does not ask for rewards so that through me passes to them whatever needs to pass on to them Etc. Here I need to activate my mind it's okay so here if the mind the intellect helps me to interpret the article towards connection it's correct usage of it?

R. Yes.

17. S. (01:11:11) If during the reading of the article I wanted to adhere to the mind of the author, who wrote this for me and go along with him through whatever his explaining without bringing myself in but just to annul before him and to go along with him when we go like this are we going through correction?

R. Maybe it's possible I don't know you're working with your own intellect.

S. I don't want to understand. I just want to flow along with him and what I've ever I understand I understand I'm not forcing my mind, my brain I just go along with him.

R. I don't understand these discernments flow with it and you don't go with your intellect. You can't measure these things and understand anything from one person to the next.

S. Okay, but is there a state where when we read the text of Rabash's articles, what I mean that there is reforming light that works on a person when he's reading, and how do we read correctly so this will happen?

R. According to what we understand it happens to the extent that a person is cleaved to the society, and he has no other discernments.

18. S. (01:02:56) It says here in the end, if I was more talented and I had a greater force of overcoming I would be able to reach wholeness. There's a feeling in the article it's like it's written about the drop that is born and it doesn't know if it's going to be wicked or righteous so how at that point, well seemingly there's a point where a person rises or he falls he's not supposed to be talented he says here he doesn't need to be wise or a fool which is determined before, so what does make him be righteous what makes him be righteous and not wicked not condemning?

R. Only relative to his connection only relative to his connection is not the wise who learns.

S. He also says here later on that there is a matter of turning to the Creator?

R. Yes.

S. That the Creator will help him to go through this stage how through the connection it's actually the place that we turn to the Creator from, is this what we need through the connection or do we want to yearn for connection and turn to the Creator?

R. To yearn for connection that through the connection you will turn to the Creator, I have nothing more to add.

19. S. (01:46:46) He writes at the end of the article my help is from the Lord, what do we ask the Creator for help for?

R. According to what he feels.

S. To ask for help I need to feel the friend or do I just turn towards the air?

R. If you turn to the air you'll get air.

S.How do I turn to the Creator?

R. Try to find among the friends this image of this form called the Creator.

20. S. (01:05:07) What do we do when we feel so materialistic that it feels like an accident on the road?

R. If a person feels if he's been through an accident, he needs to minimize himself and make himself smaller, demand nothing but to be calm, at rest and give himself a place to heal and maintain himself in this way, that's the most correct thing.

S. Not that he underwent an accident he feels so materialistic that it's like?mn

R. It's the truth so what?

S. Your teacher writes that you need to perform actions for free for nothing and then they will get the reward?

R. Okay, try as much as you can and as much as you can you pray, they didn't take the work away from you, rather they give you such conditions from which you can turn to the Creator more or less and ask regarding what he's awakening in you.

S. It is written that there should always be confidence in a feeling of form and forces of overcoming you there's always lacking. You can always give that to the friend you can always bestow but you don’t always manage to give them these things these forces these impressions?

R. Correct.

S. What are you doing in that state where you can't do it?

R. In such states there's nothing to do we try to reach the correction and then join the friend and be together with him, and help one another each shall help his friend as it is written, try to help be with the other if you can't find right now the exact work that comes to you, this will help you.

S. Give me an example, some directions, some impressions.

R. Do you feel that your friends lack some support?

S. Most of the time I feel myself, kind of in that state now?

R. Okay but there are others outside of you, try to help them and then for them to help you each shall help his friend, try the main thing is to look at it and you will see what is going on the creator after all is the one who's running the show this business.

21. S. (01:09:00) Every branch wants to resemble its root because of the shame, or because it wants to resemble the upper one?

R. Yes?

S. Yes, what is the second one every branch wants to resemble its root because of the shame or because it wants to resemble the upper one and delight the upper one?

R. Both.

S. How does the shame serve us in the process of correction if anyway we were created in the words of impurity and we have to get out of there?

R. Well we don't feel it this way to the extent that we discover where we truly are, meaning some light from above that is shining on us and relative to this light we feel how much we are in a free fall and to that extent we can rise to a prayer.

S. I'm actually asking where do we feel the spiritual shame because we come from the worlds of impurity and our shame is egoistic, it's not the shame that he's talking about?

R. Right let's say.

S. When actually does a person feel spiritual shame? When he receives vessels of bestowal then he feels spiritual shame? And before that he cannot feel it?

R. Not before, no.

S. Last question about that, the correction of shame is not the goal for the created being but rather it's a result of his correction?

R. The shame is the result of correction.

S. We shouldn't think about the shame it's revealed and it's just the result of everything we go through. It is not a goal for us ?

R. For the time being.

22. S. (01:11:10) In the past you told us that kabbalists prayed to forget what they learned in the lesson, and the gain from that is that nothing will go to the mind to the intellect.

R. It's that every minute, every moment starts anew.

23. S. (01:11:35) You said that our main work is to make the Creator greater in our eyes, meaning to work on the importance. So can we say that we can actually measure our progress by that each time we try to conquer another area of time where I work only on that in the lesson and also not to settle but for just understanding and hearing the friends but constantly to work to make and to give more importance and to pray that the friends will have more importance working together on the importance. Is that what connection is about?

R. You can say it.

24. S. (01:12:30) He writes that at some stage he says one who needs remedy or medicine should be sent from the treasure of medicine and one who needs bravery should be sent treasury from bravery. How does he know what he needs? He's the will to receive for sure he wants for himself. How can he make such decisions?

R. It's according to what he's asking for, what he is lacking.

S. He's lacking a will to bestow, he doesn't have that in his nature?

R. But in order to bestow, does he lack certain qualities? Does he ask for them? He asked to get them.

S. He asked to receive them using his own reason, his mind, his will to receive, he understands that this will promote him towards bestowal?

R. Yes.

25. S. (01:12:40) He writes about Ayin, what does it mean to reach Ayin?

R. Where will I get my help? That's what I understand.

S. Hw writes that man will reach a discernment of Ayin meaning nothing, the quality of bestowal and then he will be able or worthy of the good and abundance so Ayin, is that annulment? Is it absence?

R. I'm not getting into it, I don't know.

26. S. (01:14:23) When Rabash wrote his articles, what let him bring this out into the world all these articles was it that there's a student next to him; meaning a desire that demanded revelation and another group. Meaning there's a necessity and Rabash was able to bring this out to the air of the world, and also Baal HaSulam in his articles when he wrote so there wasn't a vessel yet. There was the suffering of the Jewish nation that were the exile and he had to write these articles for people to hear it. So you understand me, what I’m trying to say is that now we're reading, we went through a process as a group and we're scrutinizing the few things that are, in such a high resolution, it's as if we're lacking something to push us. Like he writes, that the suffering, he's sweeten the meat, that we’re lacking faith. What in this state, how to build this necessity, like you had next to Rabash?

R. If you were to connect between you more powerfully, you would feel what's before you and where you need to come to, what's missing is only a connection, the stronger bond.

S. But it's not painful that I'm not connecting, each one is scrutinizing for himself ?

R. So what do you want? Do you want for the Creator to give this to you? You need to ask to be connected, you need to turn to Him, for Him to give you connection, there is nothing besides that. In this connection we reach the final correction, we don't need any other action.

S. It's hard for me to express it because lately I haven't been asking because I see how Rabash, he's describing the whole process of how the roots cascade down to here and he explains it in all of his articles.

R. Yes.

S. What we're lacking is equivalence of form, and that's the work between us, so I just wanted to express what I felt.

R. The connection between us is what's missing, no matter what form, whether we understand it or not, just our connection between us is what we need. And from this, we will be able to reach success. I understand that again and again it's the same words, but there's nothing that we can do about it, there's nothing we can do.

27. S. (01:18:28) Now there's a Congress, there's an opportunity to invest in the connection between us to draw the friends into that point of connection.

R. Yes?

S. We're talking about how we'll come to the Congress and how will I be ready, how that the friends will be present in this Congress, how much can that help us strengthen exactly what you said, the connection between us, specifically towards the Congress, towards this opportunity.

R. We need to be concerned whether there are those who have no possibility of being present in one place, even half or a quarter of the group so for them to have the right and good connection through the internet, and for them to come closer that way.

S. There are places in the world, even the same city, and they can't always do this overcoming, even to meet in the same lesson, and it's felt that there is this treasure here, and we're speaking about the connection and this effort, could it add something to that connection?

R. I would at least make one evening, it's two days the convention, yes, so one evening, the evening of the first day of the Convention, I would nevertheless recommend to connect men with men women with women or maybe it could be mixed, I don't know it depends on what environment, and what country etc. But I would do that, too, it's more important than reading an article, formally, it's clear. That's how I would do it to make in the convention some kind of a festival, party.

S. What exactly should we do in such an evening?

R. The Convention is the first Saturday, yes, so Saturday evening, it could be that it’s not evening, it’s the second half of the day however it's convenient. I would recommend to them to connect physically somewhere in one place and to sit and to drink something, some drink and to eat something tasty, and then to sit together and talk! Get to know the people a little bit more with one another, maybe with their children, make it a little bit more, warm them up, it’s missing.

28. S. (01:22:24) It's written here that “on behalf of the Creator we're not lacking anything, only vessels, that the lower one will be worthy of receiving”, can you explain?

R. We don't have the vessels, the Creator wants to give His light, He has the light of Ein Sof, all of it that He wants to fill us with, and we don't have a kli for it because the light enters the kli only according to equivalence of form. The light is completely bestowing to the extent in which the kli is able to bestow, then it will be able to receive the light. So in order to give this kli the ability to receive the light, in portions and doses, there was the shattering and after the shattering, where we have a broken vessel and seemingly the light is broken, then you can start to connect the vessels and the lights. To the extent in which we connect between the vessels and thus also the lights enter the vessels even more, and even more and even more, and that's how it is all the way to the final Correction. Along the way there are all kinds of calculations that we learn, but actually that's the process, so we need to be concerned with the connection of the vessels and how the vessels that are all in order to receive can connect between them which is opposite their nature.

Then we learn how this is done, we install upon them, screens in order to bestow, and then to the extent in which whoever is the worst in the shattering becomes higher in the correction. And in this way the kli becomes from a vessel of reception to a vessel of bestowal, and the light enters in accordance with equivalence of form; and we reach correction and then we reveal within us all that light and our vessels seemingly invites and attracts this light to enter us, from the connection between us, not in any one of us but between us. Therefore the light that we receive become six hundred twenty greater than it was before because before that it just filled the light of Nefesh, and now it comes as NRNHY because the vessels operate against their original desire, they had the desire to receive a now and it is in order to bestow, to receive in order to bestow, so in place of Nefesh now it is Yechida.

S. How can we feel that’s what we're lacking, that's what the Creator is lacking ?

R. We try to do this for the sake of the friends and from this we feel more nearing to the Creator and we start to feel that it's also lacking for the Creator. But as far as a physical meeting in the Convention, whoever is close to one another it is worthwhile, well we are here, it is our place, but people who are in all kinds of places and spread out around the globe should think how to nevertheless come visit one another with their families, with their children, so that it will cause them a little more closeness.

29. S. (01:27:29) First of all I want to say that there's a lot of Gatherings around the world, it's not only virtual, like people gathering here Petah Tikva and all over Israel, so also in the world there's lots of Gatherings and we're also going to say at the end of the lesson where all those places are, it's also on the website. But if you can explain a bit more what you mean about families coming closer, children and women?

R. Look, it's no secret that as much as a complete family is on the path it supports the man or the woman also to be on the path, this is why I'm very much for such connections to take place between the families that are in the same group, so we need to try and make such meetings.

S. What do we have to come out with from such an evening, a community evening?

R. That we're on the path and I have a few more families like my family”; let's say I just got to know the friend’s family, and it's also on the path, and there's also children there, men, women children, that observe a lifestyle more or less like us, around the studies, around the dissemination maybe, it's good.

S. And how does this community evening bring us closer together ?

R. An incorporation, incorporation between people leads to a broader and more diversified vessel, hence the light can enter it easier.

S. You see it like a meal like we usually have in the community?

R. Yes, yes, do some kind of meal, it doesn't have to be something, you know, order pizza and Coke, who cares!?

30. S. (01:29:53) So do you recommend that when we have meals here in the Congress, that it's with women and children, or at least one of them

R. I don't know what you're doing?

S. I think the meals here are without children so if it's without children also the women don't come.

R. That seems not good to me, I feel like there's enough place here to arrange also for the children and for the women that want to be by their children or their little children so mothers can be with them together. And the men, apart, or with wives that are without children I don't know, you're the bosses here, it's your building and what you need, I don't know? You're together for many years and you know and understand the whole matter better than me.

31. S. (01:31:14) If in a physical, certain physical place, we have an opportunity to meet with friends physically but there are different tens or different groups, let's say Poland I have friends there and part of them are Polish, they live there; and part of them are from Tens that are in Russian speaking Tens and part of them are part of the Polish Ten?

R. If there's some form of contact, connection then it's good, but if there's no connection then such a meeting can only be as some performance, when there's no closeness, we need to build it.

32. S. (01:32:11) In relation to the Rabash articles we've been studying the last month, when we started studying one of the goals were to prepare ourselves towards the Congress and to start reading all the Rabash articles about prayer and we saw that from day to day the articles are really building us and forming us in a way that we couldn't even expect that this is what's going to happen as a result for working with these articles so what do we want to extract from the Congress what should be that the peak of the Congress, from all of this exertion happening now on Rabash articles?

R. We took articles that took about prayer, which is truly the most important topic, the sharpest and most central topic because everything is attained in the force of prayer, I hope that in the convention we will put a very strong emphasis on it even more and connect all of the all our personal summaries that are in each ten and group and in this way we will emphasize it all of us together, before us, that's it, I have nothing else to say, all together what happens in the articles we need to implement between us.

S. The congress is going to all be about prayer it's also called everything Is attained by the force of prayer, so what is this burst of prayer that we want to reach in the Congress, what is this difference than all the prayers that we're building between us now

R. I don't know how to say there's not really words here because prayer is higher than words, try to see yourself in place of a child that really wants to be bought a bicycle and he was told that if he really ask one time from his parents then they will buy him a bicycle, so he needs to clothe himself in that place and in that state and in that request, towards mommy and daddy in order to express his passion and his yearning, so this is what we need to try and do in the convention.

S. Clear so what is that bicycle that we want mom and dad to buy us?

R. The connection that the Creator will execute in us because we're not capable eventually all that we want to do we still think that we ourselves are capable, that we let's connect, to connect is that we pray and we ask and convince the Creator that he has to do this, not we, but rather he has to do this but what does he say, where is the lack? There's no lack I don't have it the Creator says you want to connect please, show me the deficiency for it, it's like the payment that you're presenting to me, yes, if you found that it's a deficiency on your behalf than certainly I will fulfill it, you don't need anything else let's be partners you present The kli and I bring the filling.

S. There's a state that it's not clear to me what to do with, that on one hand it's clear that you're going to say connection and that you're going to say that only prayer will help us, but I don't know how to activate these things and I don't know how to cause them to happen and I don't know how to cause for them the connection to happen, I don't know how to cause a prayer to come out and how to enter true work that we're working in connection working with the prayer walking towards prayer how to be in such a work?

R. Did you ever see a heart, and it's outside membrane, remove the membrane the outer layer.

S. How?

R. Through the prayer, it's also prayer but that it's clear before you that that's what you want to happen.

33. S. (01:38:41) What do I want to happen and what's the result?

R. I want my heart to be naked towards the friends, without any excuses.

S. What will happen at that moment?

R. Then our hearts will be able to become one heart.

S.That's the prayer we have to come to the congress with ….?

R. Yes.

34. S. (01:39:40) It is written that there is a writing in the Torah that if you keep my commandments, I will give rain upon the land and the seed will grow so there’s an explanation that there will be a reward so where is this unconditional love working without getting anything in return?

R. That's how it's written. What can I tell you, we need to come to a state in which we cancel the partitions between us.

35. S. (01:40:46) What is the reward to expect, that is,is it vessels of bestowal or something like giving him contentment or wanting equivalence of form with a Creator?

R. We need to expect but for one thing, whether we can connect and in our connection bring good to the Creator, bestow goodness to the Creator, to feel how good it is for the Creator and do that.

S. Is it correct to yearn for pleasure in order to give the Creator contentment for his sake, just to add the intention to the desire?

R. Yes, intention.

S. We can yearn for pleasure for the sake of the Creator?

R. Yes of course.

36. S. (01:42:39) About the excerpts in preparation for the Congress. How can we use these materials, these sources and our work to turn the Congress into one endless prayer?

R. I don't know what you decide and what we will do. I'm willing to participate in anything from morning till night during this day, only if we connect between us and raise a prayer appropriately, so it all depends on those people who are preparing it for us maybe.

37. S. (01:43:25) The Congress is about prayer. We have four lessons ready for the congress itself. The Rabash article is what is making our hearts ready for this mutual prayer in the Congress.

R. I still don't hear an answer.

S. The question again?

R. How will we go through the convention such that from our one heart we will obligate the Creator to help us?

S. Now when you asked it felt like in the Congress we have to be in some kind of dialogue in some kind of dynamics that from something that will do together, this mutual need will come. Not not only to be towards you in the study but altogether.

R. Towards me all together? Now we are sitting together all towards you. Also, it's not good that you're still studying towards me. You're coming in here for 2 1⁄2 hours plus hours, you will be in prayer together .The lesson is actually a prayer, where you turn to the Creator, In a study of the excerpts from Rabash and Bal Hasalam and learning these writings you want to evoke the Creator and awaken HIm. Through these writings you will want to awaken through your hearts to evoke the Creator to awaken him. To truly awaken him so that he will give you a mind and heart and be able to connect and be a vessel for the light of Ein Sof . No, are you coming here for me?

S. No, we're sitting in the lesson we're reading I sit and I lack see what I'm lacking in order to connect to the Friends. Where are my compared to what's written compared to what you're saying. On a good day so I do have some kind of prayer but we have to do something mutual from the Ten, from our state that is in good to want to better state so I don't know how but something has to be between us also now I'm sitting in front of the article so I'm measuring me towards the Ten towards what he is writing but I'm not even looking at the friends when I'm in the lesson I don't look at them

R. Do you feel them or not?

S. I feel my attitude towards them but I don't feel a common feeling as at Ten.

R. Maybe your heart's not ready to absorb this to feel this.

S. Then in order for our heart or my heart to be ready I feel that something more dynamic happens to look at each other or talk. I don't know what?

R. Does someone have a solution?

S. How to implement the articles we're reading and every moment in the lesson how to implement these articles between us so we come to the congress ready with a deficiency with a demand and not that in the Congress will try to build it. \

R. Do you have an answer?

S. No, I can't I have something else that the friends are saying that maybe we should take the Congress the question you asked before how to make the Creator help us in the Congress and that every Ten will discuss it today and also offer answers and send them in that will all be in this concern in this question

R. That's good, do it.

38. S. (01:41:11) In Israel but I guess in the whole world now, but I'm asking about Israel. There are right now hundreds of students and all kinds of frameworks studying for a long time a year, 2 years maybe even more. What do you advise them to do during the Congress? How should they go through the congress?

R. We have our communications with them so they can connect and be with us together. what's the question?

S. The question is let's say since when is there a big gathering here and there used to be on line so how should they go through the congress? As they're used to tin their regular Tens in the Arvut system in their regular Tens virtually or should they come here and experience the physical congress?

R. I would recommend I just don't know how possible it is for the Kli to come here physically and come here and to be together with everyone.

S. What's the advantage of a physical Congress upon them?

R. This Is how we nevertheless get to know one another. We in our physical bodies and one and compound and we just in this world the ways things are defined here it's worthwhile for us to be that way too.

S. What's the spiritual benefit ?

R. Also, the benefit is all spiritual that are close to one another.

S. There's a spiritual benefit

R. Yes, mutual bestowal has a spiritual benefit. I'm sitting here with everyone.

S. I feel yes but we also learned that our work is internal. It's in our hearts it's in prayer not of a hugging of hands but a hugging of the hearts so why or what does it add when I participate physically?

R.You sat at home during the Covid period, well was it better or worse?

S. Depends who you ask

R. We need to continue working onwards.

30. S. (01:52:20) Before you gave the example with the child and the bicycle you said that prayer is more exalted in words. Are there times in the lessons like the friend said when we read an article that friends are praying as we go and asking so is this something we have to write down and say it in our mouth or is it something internal?

R. However each one wants to awaken the heart but to awaken it truly like it's on the mountaintop.

40. S. (01:53:34) Regarding the Congress and these lessons that pertain to the prayer seems to be a great preparation for this congress, The question is there are 30 or more mirror congresses around the world simultaneously during this Congress and we wonder what is the importance of these gatherings and how can they best align themselves with the main congress?

R. Depends who's organizing here and around the world as much as they know how to connect different places that are further away together. It doesn't seem that only in Israel this is the center of the congress, not anywhere in the world where there's groups. That's also a center so it depends on the organizers. That's why I recommend paying attention to it, to also get comments and responses from all the participants around the world, and to see how we still build One group one vessel but one not just be formal. Okay?

41 S. (01:55:30) A question about the Rabash. How is the deficiency in the writings of Rabash how can we use his deficiency in order to raise a prayer?

R. We're reading his articles right in the Congress?

S. We are reading his articles in the congress. In the convention the lessons will be based on excerpts from Rabash and Baal HaSulam writings.

S. How to feel his deficiency in order to raise a prayer?

R. Try to add yourself to Rabash and Baal HaSulam deficiency and from the connection between us to try and incorporate in their deficiencies. that will also talk about.
