Lesson 5|9 de nov. de 2022

Part 2:

Baal HaSulam. "Study of the Ten Sefirot" (TES). Vol. 2. Part 6. #3. Inner Light. (start with: "From its half and below,")

Reading #3, Inner Light (00:24) “From its half and below, which are the Nekudot in it”

1. S (03:28) What he’s describing here is that the screen is refined and the upper light comes out and it says that the Creator makes a coupling with the screen.

R. The lights that are divided that’s what happens to them.

S. Meaning the light departs from the Partzuf how do you call it coupling?

R. With the raising of the Masach from Sium or to Tabur of Peh of the Partzuf. The Masach rises and the lights that were in the Partzuf in the Guf of the Partzuf they come out through the Peh outwards to the Rosh of the Partzuf.

S. This process of the gradual weakening of the screen the Kabbalist does it consciously? He himself weakens the screen?

R. The Wisdom of Kabbalah speaks of the actions which are under the control of the upper one and the lower one together.

S. Meaning the Kabbalists himself decides together with the Creator that he weakens the screen and makes a coupling on the higher degree?

R. Yes because he sees that in these actions he maintained his adhesion to the Creator.

S. Greater adhesion with the Creator? That’s how he understands how he can get more of the Creator?

R. Yes.

S. Can you say it’s a process of a fall, a descent?

R. It‘s not a descent, it’s not a descent. Even though he doesn't have strength he prefers to be connected to the Creator in all of the states that come to him. That is work above reason.

S. What can cause a person to decide to weaken the screen? He has connection and he decides to do it?

R. No, this can’t be. The Masach is the connection between the created being and the Creator and the person can never ask to lose the screen, no.

S. It comes out of the Creator?

R. Yes of course and why is that? Because if we will not process the screen we will not be able to continue the next action, so we’ll stop at this point and all of the process of creation will stop? No, the fact that the Masach is purified the light departs from the Partzuf that forces the Malchut of the same Partzuf to start continuing the next action, and that’s how it is, after many Zivigum in order to bestow upon the entire upper light.

S. What’s the meaning that Malchut when the lights depart she continues her action and she makes a new coupling? What does she have to do here?

R. The Masach rises from the Tabur to Peh and with that all of the Atarot from the Toch of the Partzuf come out from Peh back to the Rosh and in that the reception of the light in order to bestow in the Partzuf has been completed.

2. S. (08:03) I want to ask about the guest and the host when the tastes come, what you just discussed, then the screen diminishes because of the Ta’amim the tastes and the created being received into himself, and otherwise it’s not possible?

R. We’ll say we’ll understand.

S. I hear they describe actions where I receive in order to bestow.

R. Yes.

S. Nevertheless I eat and I receive pleasure even though it's the opposite.

R. That’s a completely different pleasure.

S. That’s what I wanted to ask about meaning the host offers everything to us, we refuse initially, this awakens the appetite and at some point we can receive in order to bestow and from this we get the tastes, the Ta’amim. Is this the reason the screen diminishes?

R. It’s not entirely that way but it doesn’t matter. What is the question?

S. Meaning, I nevertheless receive the pleasure?

R. You receive an entirely different pleasure not from the light you receive pleasure by giving pleasure to the host.

S. And this pleasure is called Ta’amim?

R. Yes.

3. S. (09:54) He writes that the direct light Ta’amim is mercy. Should it be the opposite that Nekudot, Hassadim is mercy?

R. No.

4. S. (10:25) Baal HaSulam says with this you should understand that only the lights in the vessel of Keter of the Guf of SAG are called tastes Ta’amim. What’s the role of Ta’amim in this story? What is that concept Ta’amim tastes?

R. Ta’amim are lights that come from above downwards from the Rosh from the coupling and striking of the Rosh and expanding below in the Guf they are called Ta’amin.

S. Then he reaches the Nekudot which I've never heard of before, yet all the nine lower Sefirot below the Keter of the Guf of SAG are called Nekudot. What is the role of Nekudot?

R. Nekudot are already lights that have finished their expansion from above downwards and in them the Malchut is integrated in its restriction in its limitations and therefore it inserts into these lights these black points.

S. This is above the Parsa or below the Parsa this action?

R. It doesn’t matter.

S. It doesn’t matter?

R. No, now it doesn’t.

5. S. (11:37) When a new Partzuf emerges, let's say AB after Galgalta, there is a new vessel that is internal relative to Gelgalta and we also learn that there is a new light.  A new scrutiny begins begins both in a vessel of AB and Galgalta and you light comes to Galgalta, so it turns out that the vessel emergence of the inner metal screw the noises.

R. You are right. The Kli holds completely uses all the Partzufim that were prior.

S. Is the Kabbalist also working in this way? By adding an external vessel he rows the light into the external vessel in addition to the inner vessel?

R. Yes it is a closed system. It is a closed circuit.

6. S. (12:54) Can you explain the paragraph where he says that it is only in the SAG is called Taamin, tastes, and only in the vessel of Keter of the Guf and only the nine of the Sefirot are below Keter of Nekudot?

R. Yes, the Nekudot, that is right?

S. What does it mean that the Tamim are built on the vessel of Keter?

R. Yes, we will learn it. Wait a bit.

Inner LIght #4 by the Ari ( 13:42) Afterward, it elicited the exterior phases to clothe it..” twice

7. S. (15:17) When it says that he elicited the lights, where do they come out from?

R. We will see below what he is ready.

Inner Light Item 4 (15:36) “The Se’arot of the Keter, surrounding its Rosh from”

8. R. (16:55) This is the difference between above downwards or below upwards, the expansion of the lights.

9. S. (17:03) I was always interested in the cell and the hair, can you expand it in?

R. No, not for the time being it is a very important topic but it is long. We will learn it gradually in parts, within these parts,of the TES from part 6 onwards we will come across this matter of the hair Se'arot, hair, it relates to turbulence, deficiencies. We will need to learn it. We need to correct iit. That is why we have the matter of the Se'arot, hair ,on their body, on their head ,on their mustache and beard, all kinds of matters.

S. Is it hair for men and women?

R. If you're interested in that then you and you just go study somewhere else.

10. S. (18:28) Se’arot or lights that enter the Partzuf is the inner light or Nekudot? What kind of light is the hairs?

R. Se’arot are deficiencies that need corrections and we will learn how to make these corrections.

11. S. (19:01) The diminution of the screen does not disconnect one from faith from the connection with the Creator?

R. What?

S. When the screen grows weaker does it bring one to disconnect from the Creator?

R. Of course it does, the thinner the Masach, the less force it has, the less force it has with connection with the Creator.

S. What you answered in the previous question is a conscious action by the Kabbalists and it has a controlled descent. Is the screen grows smaller and the connection with the Creator is disconnected and this is an action that we make to control the descent, so that the connection will not be severed completely, how could that be?

R. I do not exactly know what you were referring to, of course the greater the larger the Masach the greater the connection with the Creator. The more the screen starts to disappear there's less connection with the Creator, that’s clear.

Before when we've read about the Tamim the result of the diminution of the screen, you said earlier it is the Kabbalists that receives in order to bestow and the screen grows smaller. It is like a controlled descent that the Kabbalist does in order not to lose connection with the Creator, but when the screen grows smaller the connection disappears?

R. Whenever a person receives in order to bestow the screen does not disappear it does not become purified. I cannot connect this case with what you are asking.

S. Maybe I will try later.

R. Maybe you can find the excerpt.

S. We read that the initial expansion of the Partzuf before the screen grows smaller it is called Taamim and it is a direct light of mercy but the screen grows smaller. And the upper light that came out of the Creator makes the coupling. If the goal is for the connection with the Creator is to never stop then when the screen grows smaller, the connection doesn’t disappear? How can it not stop the connection?

R. The connection needs to constantly renew, without the Partzuf the Kli cannot receive in one go. Therefore all of our correction is in parts, receiving parts of lights from the Creator.

S. Meaning there's a moment where I see that I can bestow and then I can see that I cannot and then I can see again that I can?

R. Yes, otherwise it's not receiving in order to bestow.

S. This way the connection becomes permanent step by step?

R. Yes there is an infinite number of such actions that eventually that some of these actions leads to a complete correction in receiving in order to bestow, but there are many actions in receiving the light, otherwise you cannot correct it.

Continue reading Item #4 Inner Light (23:57) “The Se’arot of the Zakan that are extended from...”

12. R. (25:14) We will talk about that later on, it is not important.

Continues (25:19) “It Has Been Explained Above the beginning...”

R. (27:44) We are reading and we are listening to the extent we understand but do not understand, but slowly slowly it penetrates.

Reader Continues: (27:55) “The General Three Mochin In It...”

13. S. (28:41) It is not clear what this division is that he defined here it is confusing, what does he refer to as general SAG, what part is that?

R. We divide the Partzufim to Galgalta, AB, SAG, MA, BON, every single Partzuf we divide into five parts as well, when the matter of Tzimtzum Bet comes up, then we divide the Partzufim according to the first restriction and second restriction, here he is speaking of the Se’arot, these are new results that we have on the Partzuf, these are additional vessels that we have on the Partzuf, and accordingly we divide the Partzuf into five parts the Se’arot of Rosh, the Se’arot of Guf, in the Se’arot of Rosh, we are talking about the Se’arot of the Rosh until the Awznaim, the ears, and then the Se’arot of the Zakan, the hair of the beard, which extend until the Chazeh and the Tabur of the Partzuf, and that’s it, these are the Partzufim of the Se’arot, Se’arot are revelations of the deficiencies, that he wants to receive lights, he wants to reveal it, but he lacks the vessels. Why else, all of the rest of the things we will learn, many times, because we are highly dependent on the Se’arot, especially people in this world, in the world of BYA are dependent on the Se’arot Reisha and Se’arot Dikna, also in the Torah and in the Zohar there is a lot of speaking about the Se’arot.

S. So what is the general SAG? Everything below the Tabur?

R. Yes, the general SAG are the branches that extend from the general SAG, the general SAG is all of the SAG from Chazeh above until below, until the Sium, and in it are the Sefirot of the Rosh and Toch and Sof and on them the Se’arot.

14. S. (31:37) This renewal of what is happening, out of the coupling Nikvey Eynaim, this division these things come as a result of the second restriction, and a second restriction should be canceled?

R. To be canceled, no not for the time being.

S. Not for the time being, but in the future, maybe I'm jumping ahead, but I understand that we highly depend on it, these systems raise us, correct us, build the vessel, but what happens after the vessels accrue and are organized and beautiful?

R. Through the Partzufim of the Se’arot we correct the vessels. And when these vessels are corrected, they enter from the second restriction to the first, and we, through all of the actions which they all in all connect, one to the other, we with that return to the state that the vessels will be all corrected and filled with light. What is the question, the Se’arot are only revealing deficiencies that for the time being we cannot work with.

S. Excellent, so what is happening after the deficiencies are revealed and corrected, then what happens to the Se’arot?

R. They disappear.

S. So everything is based on the restriction, all the structures, the systems will eventually get canceled as the ascent happens?

R. Yes, the Se’arot will be canceled. For the time being when we are not yet in these states, then the Se’arot must not be canceled, that is why you see that there are people who take care of their Se’arot, their hair, especially their beard, we will learn about that, we’ll learn these discernments. There are also customs accordingly.

15. S. (34:00) What is special about the Shibolet HaZakan, is this a foundation, the Yesod?

R. The Shibolet HaZakan is the place where the Se’arot come out when they expand until the Chazeh and until the Tabur and that is why it is very a very important place of concentration of the light, from there it expands and clothes on the Guf of the Partzuf.

S. So it goes down from there?

R. It goes down like I said until the Chazeh and until the Tabur.

S. Only there, it doesn't go down to NHY?

R. No below Tabur it cannot go down.

S. Is this the second restriction?

R. We’ll learn about this, don’t ask what you’re not learning, why are you confusing everyone. The Se’arot do not go down below the Tabur, that is all you need to know. Try to be more connected to others by making sure that everyone here knows more or less what borders they are in, so be cautious when you ask things that have no foundation in what we are studying.

16. S. (35:36) How do we make those connections, do we pray for them and how do we know what to pray for?

R. We make these corrections through the connection between us, in order to reach connection when we lack these forces then we pray and we receive the force of connection. we connect and then the lights, there are such that exit from outward inward, from surrounding they become internal, and that is how we will see what's happening. We have even many in our spiritual Partzuf, I'm sorry that I'm doing this gesture as if, but we have 13 directions only on the Zakan, the beard which is which are parts of the Partzufim which divide the Zakan, the beard into many Partzufim in order for there to be an opportunity to correct the same lights and transfer them to higher degrees where they connect and work together. Also the Se’arot of Rosh, that with the beard needs to be kept and with the with the head it needs to be shaved, why is it written that way.

17. S. (37:37) You explain beautifully TES lately, tell me, do I need to understand what you are explaining, does it advance me if I understand it?

R. You need to understand that there are many actions that come from the deficiency that are forces for us to connect an air for these actions called Se’arot from the word Se'ar, turbulent that he is in pain from not being able to bestow on the one hand and on the other hand these are the corrections of these actions. When we try to never the less ask for them for strength and connection etcetera by by that we we act.

S.. You tell us about this student of Rabash that new everything by heart, we did everything amazingly, did that advanced him that he did everything by heart?

R. Who?

S. You told us about a student of a student of Rabash, his grandkid, who knew all the material by heart, he knew it perfectly. Did he become more spiritual by knowing the material?

R. No he did not have spiritual attainment.

S, That is what I am asking did he become spiritual by knowing the material?

R. No, you only need to yearn to study the material, maybe to help be more connected with the others that study until you will connect together and ask the Creator but this connection will be in order to bestow between everyone and from everyone to the Creator.

S. So it is kind of a prayer?

R. Yes yes.

16. S. (39:52) In order to understand the power structure of relationship here.. is it correct to imagine it like you did it with the hair in the Rosh and like that?

R. Rabash did the same in order to show us the explanation but not that I have your lights of Hassadim and lights here of Hochma and so on.

S. But in order to read and go deeper into the content is it okay to continue this illustration in my head or not connect the two?

R. It doesn't matter however you want this or that. We usually do not have such depictions but if you do then it is not a big deal, it's not a big deal. Most important is that we need to know that all the connections are through connection. The more we return to the structure of Adam HaRishon that is the way. if you point out your ear.. that will not make a difference. Okay? Thank you.
