Part 2: Lesson on the Topic of “ uestions and Answers on the Spiritual Path”

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (00:19) We have a schedule that we already published. We have a series of lessons that will be in the morning, meaning at five and not at three.

The women will be sitting with us too. It's going to be, we have prayer afterwards and a meal and a noon lesson, the study materials. There's an abundance of articles on Rosh Hashanah.

And we thought to take advantage of the four days of the holiday to take a social topic and concentrate on it, which is breaking into spirituality. We heard a few days how you're speaking that this is our time to focus on breaking into spirituality, that we have to reach a necessity for it. And we can use the days of the holiday to engage in it more. Beyond that, all the orders are ready.

M. Laitman: Any questions about that? No. Yes?

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (01:30) The holidays of Tishrei are very complex to understand. I don't even, I'm not even talking about attainment.

M. Laitman: Oh, what?

Student: The holidays of Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Sukkot, they're very complex holidays to understand. I'm not even talking about attainment. So how do we use this time to attain everything the Kabbalists want to give us through the holidays? For instance, in Rosh Hashanah, what is the sin or Yom Kippur, what to do with those days?

M. Laitman: I understand that the whole people, the whole nation that is in the land of Israel, in the state of Israel, they understand the special situation we're going through. That state requires unity between us, connection between us, and intensification of our power to attack our offensive power against our enemies, those who hate us, who are surrounding us. And we have to be ready for it, and want to do it. And be confident that if we want to, this is how it will happen. This is what I can say. Everything else depends on you, truly on you. If we want, then the land of Israel will be ours. Yes, of you.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (04:04) If I understand correctly, maybe I didn't, are you connecting between some breakthrough to spirituality, to dealing with the haters of the land of Israel, there's a connection between the things?

M. Laitman: Yes, I think that these two states are getting very close to each other. And the more worthy we are the more worthy we are of receiving spirituality. The more worthy we will be of receiving the physical land.

Student: And is there an influence of one another?

M. Laitman: There is an influence, and there is a very beautiful and clear connection that's been revealed each day.

Student: So we'll call them good signs that we're seeing lately. Do they point on that tendency?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: Is that from internality to externality, as we know from the introduction to  “The Book of Zohar”?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: Meaning that the more we…

M. Laitman: Connect and become unified, the more we will feel that we can succeed on the physical level. These are very beautiful things, and we just shouldn't miss out. We shouldn't let ourselves grow weak. We shouldn't give room to any—how should I put it? Help me find—not give room to each one, jumping up and wanting to dominate others until there is a state between us that is revealed and opened and from heart to heart with love and connection between us. So if we have it, we can conquer the whole world in a good way, for the better. That good waves of connection will project from us, waves of unity, and the world will accept it and participate in it. The times are very suitable for this and beautiful, and what we couldn't do for thousands of years now is possible. Well, let's hope we will succeed with God's help.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (07:33) I don't understand what opened up now that wasn't there before.

M. Laitman: Previously, we didn't have the opportunity to come to the form of connection that is so tight and felt and determining all of our reality and the future, and now we do. We can, indeed, by rising with our special force, we will force nature, the Creator, to lead us to the apex of existence.

Student: So what exactly is our goal, our duty in this whole campaign?

M. Laitman: Our role is to want it to happen and to create between us all the orders that should be between Tens and between individuals, between the women part and the men part and with the children. With everyone, as much as possible, so we will all be arranged, organized.

Student: And the overcoming that will add in our unity and all our parts, so what, it will dictate something in reality or will change something?

M. Laitman: Of course, without a doubt.

Student: We're the nation of Israel here. What is their role? I'm speaking about the nation around us that isn't studying.

M. Laitman: The people around us is the substance that maintains or does the connection in practice.

Student: What depends on them? Do they change something in reality or are they only activated?

M. Laitman: They're only activated. You said that it's nice signs before us, clear things that are going to be revealed more and more, not to miss out on the state.

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: How not to miss out on the state?

M. Laitman: First of all, we have to think about ourselves, that we have to be the center of connection. It doesn't matter that we are in the center or not. What matters is that we determine the connection and each of us is willing to give to it all of his NRNHY.

Student: When you're aiming us to break into spirituality, what does that mean, to break through to spirituality?

M. Laitman: That we will have no other thought other than each one wanting to fill the heart of the friend.

Student: Where do you reach such a necessity to break into the friend's heart?

M. Laitman: We have to. We have to enter the heart of each and every friend. This is called conquering the land of Israel. And in this way, we will come to the complete correction.

Student: Can you connect between the friend's heart and the land of Israel? I don't understand.

M. Laitman: Of course. The heart of the friend is the land of Israel for me.

Student: We heard a few days ago that you said that now is the time for incorporating between us, that we don't have to be in Tens, but we have to feel maybe something a bit more common and bigger.

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: What is this depiction of incorporation that not each one in his own Ten, but we do feel a society, a bigger Kli?

M. Laitman: We must see all the friends as full partners, active partners within our framework so that everyone yearns only to be in one point, at our one center point. And that besides that, we have no no place to be other than this kind of connection within at the center point of the land of Israel. That's where we should see ourselves.

Student: Where are we compared to that? Where are Bina Baruch in relation to that state you're describing to conquer the friend's heart, the land of Israel?

M. Laitman: I think we are right at the border, at the beginning of Assiya.

Student: If we're taking the four days of the holiday and maybe all the holidays of Tishrei and to go even deeper inside, can you focus us? What is the topic? If we want to focus the study materials that will open that up for us more.

M. Laitman: The same thing, the same, only connection. I don't see anything we need to attain other than that. And it's all ready. We just need to devote ourselves to it.

Student: The connection you're talking about. Till now we said connection in the Ten.

M. Laitman: No, now it's not Tens it's everyone, the whole, all of it, men, women, all of it, the whole nation.

Student: What's this work of connection between everybody, the whole nation?

M. Laitman: We need to think about the whole nation being as one group in which we want to maintain the laws of connection.

Student: And where's my Ten in this whole depiction?

M. Laitman: Within it, in it. You want to feel it as the center of this act, activity, by all means. This will not interfere with one another, for sure.

Student: So I'm expanding my Ten to the whole.

M. Laitman: Yes, yes.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (15:20) If I understand correctly, you're feeling that there's a special time now, that we as a spiritual group all need to push forward. And like something, like an attack is happening in corporeality, we also have to have an attack?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: It reminds me that we heard from you once that with Rabash there was an opportunity in Sukkot that there's an opportunity to attack. So what should our attack be on now? You said to conquer the friend's heart.

M. Laitman: Only in connection. Back then it was the same thing. When you said that, only about connection. That was really an opportunity. Such moments come at very special times, very special situations. I'm almost certain that we are in this right now. Now it depends on us and on the whole of the people of Israel. If we set our hearts on attaining the real connection, as much as we deserve, but if we want it, then it can be a wonderful result.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (17:11) You said we need to be partners. How do we really feel that we have a special partnership with the state you're speaking of, that we'll really feel that there's no way back, we have to go and break forward? How do we help each other feel this, that we have a common goal?

M. Laitman: The fact that we have no other way is certain. The fact that we are aiming for the end of correction is also certain. And the fact that we have to unite between us in order to do the correction of all of humanity, this is also certain. We just need to implement it. And therefore, we must connect, be in a huge connection with each other. Let's hope we will have good connections at our times together, of the men, the women. You know all that better than I do. Just be aiming, all of us, in the end, to the only goal. We have already passed through most of the days of the year in which we were kind of on hold, frozen. Now we're coming out of it, we're entering the days of warmth and love. So we have to open it up in the heart of each and every one.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (19:44) One more thing, you said we were frozen and we want to come out of it, and I feel that they're friends that are really yearning. I really want them to be back with us. We feel that they are distant a bit, we want to bring them closer. So what should we do now for those friends that will be a stronger, concentrated force?

M. Laitman: I don't know. The truth is, I think it all depends on our connection. If you go and talk to them, I don't think it will pull them in a positive way, in a favorable way, no. Only if we, between us, awaken more feelings of love and connection.

Student: To show them an example that we really want to be there in that love and that connection.

M. Laitman: Example, seeing the friends.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (21:03) Last year was very essential, very difficult, with a lot of dramatic events that weren't simple.

M. Laitman: Correct.

Student: Where do you feel that the nation is going towards? What is the state of the nation?

M. Laitman: I feel that specifically now, just recently, even in the last few days, I feel that there is a change, a transformation of direction, that indeed the people of Israel is becoming ready for connection of the heart. And we too are ready to show them the example. How to go? Therefore, I think that here, exactly here, it is happening to us that both the direction and the desire, the heart, they all join together between Bnei Baruch and all of the people of Israel. Yes?

Student: A question. It's very special to hear how you are describing the situation of the people, because it really connects with what's happening on social media and the social realm. The nation has gone through a transformation in how they relate to the sources, to our origins. It's already legitimate to say things that until recently were not legitimate to say. Does Rav see the change as something that can help us in connecting the people, in general connection?

M. Laitman: Yes. There's no good without bad. So from that state of eruption against us, when was it? A year already? So from that time onward, we will now see the right results, just as long as we don't miss out on it again. But just press on it all the way.

Student: A question. It sounds like if we continue with our work now, we're looking into a good year.

M. Laitman: Yes, but we also have to think about how to go outside, a little more outside. Toward the people.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (23:53) I wanted to ask about that. You said we're ready to show the people of Israel that's ready for connecting the heart, how to walk. So what should we explain to the people? What should we direct them?

M. Laitman: All of our salvation is in connection. There's nothing new here. And we need to try to go together, and then it is certain we'll succeed, and that connection will bring us corrections. For the whole nation, each and every soul needs it.

Student: Connecting the nation right now, that's what everyone speaks about. In the supermarket, they write it. So what's the novelty here? What's new here?

M. Laitman: No novelty. According to the words, also 2,000 years ago, it was clear. Just we need to be the ones leading it.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (25:12) And that connection, it's not a clean connection, what's happening, because it's connection against an enemy. There are constantly enemies here that we unite against them.

M. Laitman: It's always like that. It's always like that.

Student: So, where is the connection for the sake of the Creator, something much higher, broader, not against someone?

M. Laitman: It's exactly the same thing.

Student: The same thing?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: How?

M. Laitman: As much as we try to be connected between us and against our enemies, to that extent in this way, we need to be connected between us and to bring ourselves that between us, the Messiah can be revealed.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (26:26) A year ago, the people were united because of a big upload that landed on it. Afterwards, it declined and separation, well, it didn't really roll. But now everyone's already kind of drunk with a sense of victory. So what will keep the people from falling into separation once again? How can we contribute to it?

M. Laitman: I think that what happened, the tragedy, and also what's happening these days, it's showing us a way for the correction of the souls, that only to connect above all the disturbances, all the differences, that's what we're left with. And there'll be a place for each and every one to be in the center of the great nation and through that to draw all the nations to correction.

Student: What has changed since then? Let's say our nation a year ago and today from all the suffering and all the changes we've been through. What can we say that now is more ripe to, as you say, bring the Messiah?

M. Laitman: I think that time has passed and scrutinies took place in the matter, the material of the nation, of the world, and now we can recognize as steps what took place in history from day to day. These are all reasons that have been working on us for us to connect correctly.

Student: Connect, meaning we, B'nei Baruch? Yes, us, B'nei Baruch.

M. Laitman: So we can see as much as the world will want to let go of all the processes it went through earlier and only be connected to one connection and the correction.

Student: What does it mean for us in the work between us? We said we talked about working in the Tens, now we're talking about working the whole Kli together. How do we incorporate the whole nation inside of it?

M. Laitman: We tell the nation that what we're doing and want to do is connecting the nation. How should I say it? It's a necessary thing and we'll see as much as, along with us, you'll see as much as more and more groups from around the world, whole nations, will come and connect. I see this now. That's it.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (30:52) I really want to be in that sublime plea you're talking about. But at the same time, I feel within me like an egoist, far from it, cold, even cruel, hurting, destroying everything around me. How within such a feeling to belong to such good, high feelings that you feel that you have to be in them?

M. Laitman: Start in corporeal actions, actions of connection, of participation. From that, you'll see how it works. How much they'll accept you and want it.

Student: (31:50) The separation in the nation, is it only a political matter? Because when there's an enemy, it's clear to everyone that you have to destroy it. So there is a matter of connection?

M. Laitman: Yes. I think that there's no doubt that everybody agrees that there must be connection. But the path to connection, then everybody starts bringing in his own ego into this. So, we'll now need to explain that it's not connected to anybody's individual way, but it goes according to spiritual laws.

Student: So the mere agreement on the need for it is that that already kind of flattens the…

M. Laitman: Yes, it'll go now. We're done with all the scrutinies.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (33:09) So what should we focus on now, so we don't miss out on the opportunity you're talking about, the connection of the hearts between us, or on going out to the people?

M. Laitman: It's to start from now onward as much as possible, more and more to connect and be concerned of the public connecting the hearts, and drawing everybody into this.

M. Laitman: How do we not miss out? You said three times in this part that we shouldn't miss out on the opportunity we have now. How do we not miss out on it?

M. Laitman: I don't know. I don't know exactly what it could be. Just I think that if we want, then we could find.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (34:30)  Their calling this declaration, we have no other king but you. From what state should we exist so that such a declaration will come out?

M. Laitman: The nation still won't find its King and they won't be able to follow that slogan. Religious, secular, everybody's in all kinds of directions. You won't find a common hand or leg in this. I don't know.

Student: What should be in us, in our group, so that we have this recognition?

M. Laitman: Connection of the hearts. Connecting the hearts, nothing but that.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (35:54) You said everything, but just to pinpoint the idea of not missing out, Bnei Baruch is getting into this holiday from today. Should we be feeling ourselves like an inner engine of connection of the nation, that we are holding it in the connection of the hearts between us, we're also holding the connection of the whole nation?

M. Laitman: We're trying as much as we really could affect it, it could be that internally we will really do it, and externally maybe not so much. Not everybody will feel it or know about it, so what?

Student: We disconnect the results?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: The effort is clearer?

M. Laitman: Okay, so thank you all.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (37:22) Just a short question about the friends in the world. What is their role at this time?

M. Laitman: To be connected to us. Each and every one.

Student: So, they have to feel that the connection between them supports our connection here in Israel and everything we do?

M. Laitman: Yes.
