Congress Lesson 4.
1. Rav Introduction: (02:41) I think it's truly a great gift from the Creator who arranged for us to be in the Congress specifically here. It’s not about whether or not we agreed to it but He made it so that we wanted it to be in a different place, that’s the desire He gave us, and then He twisted this desire until we came back here; meaning that we’ll have discernments from what do we want? We don't need anything outside of us because this surrounding environment, this atmosphere, this is truly our home. It's not the walls or the desert or Petah Tikva or something else. Who thinks about it even? Rather everyone thinks about the general atmosphere in which we are all immersed and that is our place, this is one thing. The other thing is that we need to build this place more stronger, tighter, more dense, more thick so we will feel that all of us are in it together. I see before us all the friends: Hungary, Kiev, Asia, Georgia, Santiago, Spain, Turkey, Argentina, Lithuania, many, many groups from all over the world. And we need to build this envelope so it will be our permanent envelope and this will ultimately be called the temple, the holy house, a place where the Creator’s bestowal dwells.
And we feel in this edifice that is closed off to all of our desires, inclinations out of love that this is the temple. Why is it called temple, holy house? From the word holy and holy means bestowal, a house that we build as bestowal toward one another out of giving and love. That is actually the temple and where it exists, somewhere in the world, in the desert, or here, it doesn't matter, this does not matter. We’ll have many more congresses and we’ll always feel that we are building this inner home of ours where the Creator is revealed more and more. That's it. Thank you for feeling it, for wanting more and more to enter into it together. Next time we’ll come to Congress where I hope we'll have many, many more people, more than what we have now we will open up these walls, these doors and we’ll bring a few thousand more. What else do I have to say?
2. S. (09:46) Now an incredible miracle is happening. We are all so united that we haven't felt anything like that before. Now in Australia, Japan, China, Philippines, India and all of Asia, this love is flooding all over the world. Rav, how can we tomorrow, on this level or even higher like now, where we love one another endlessly, how can we carry this to one another every single day?
R. We need to understand that everything depends on dissemination, everything depends on dissemination. Before us there was no dissemination of the wisdom of Kabbalah. When I started to disseminate a little bit even those students who studied with Rabash and knew to some extent Baal HaSulam, they made fun of me. Who would want this, who would take this, who needs this? What are you doing? It's a waste of energy, of time, of money, of everything. And that's how it seemed at first. It was 1975, 76, 77 when I started to get interested. In 1978-79 I came to Rabash, no one could believe that there was room for the wisdom of Kabbalah to appear anywhere. You couldn't buy any book of Kabbalah in any bookstore you couldn’t hear about it, talk about it, people were totally oblivious to this topic, impervious to this topic. I had no choice, I thought that if people in Israel are like that maybe Russians are a little different. I will translate something to Russian, some articles by Baal HaSulam and I will publish them there. And I translated and I published here in Israel and it was also very difficult but somehow it caught on, maybe because I gave it away for free. Later I had representatives of the American Consulate come to me and buy 3,000 books in Russian. Later I saw that they gave them away in Russia, this was 1976-78 something like that, that’s how it started, from there. It started to become clearer and clearer. What am I trying to say? To build a house for the revelation of the Creator is not a simple matter but we have several floors that we have already built and I hope that we will see Him in all his glory, that's it.
3. S. (15:44) We see today in our country a lot of unfounded hatred rising. What can we as individuals do to diminish this hatred and to bring back unfounded love?
R. We have to work on love, we have to work at it, and send your bread across the water. And then it will come back to you and you can work and you can bestow to everyone. You can’t go any other way. I don’t we need to expect that the wave of love will come to us from someone, from something. Don't wait, don't just wait by doing nothing, by being passive, inactive. We need every day with all the communication outlets, all the media to disseminate what is the future of the world, why is the world in this state, why is it showing itself as worse and worse. And then we’ll come to state where we understand it and to that extent we’ll be able to explain it to everyone. I think that the work before us is very special and as much as we can sow these seeds of love between us in our body, meaning the global Bnei Baruch, from this it will gradually develop and expand outwards among all the nations, around the entire planet, we will see it. But everything depends on our work. I don’t expect love and connection and good will to come from other nations or from other people. I am expecting myself to get in with the dissemination of love and connection and embrace to them, to explain to them and show them how much I want to be together with them. And not pay attention to the reactions since it's clear to us that man's inclination is evil from his youth and everyone simply wants to profit and exploit the other. Together with that we need to nevertheless show them that our face is toward love and connection and embrace. So your question is simple, it has to be aimed back at yourself. What have you done so you would show everyone that the main thing is connection and love between people without asking anything else? Not saying but they, but who will I turn to, no. We must, we must work in this way and then it will happen, and the palate will taste as he says.
4. S. (20:57) I wanted to ask you this from the very first lesson. How can I do these things not from some obligation, that I feel this is the correct way when sometimes my desire to bring someone into this path is felt like coercion. So where is the border between bringing friends onto the path and for them not to see it as an obligation, as a coercion?
R. Today it's not so relevant but I used to go all kinds of places, all kinds of small towns and I would try to get into conversations, give talks, how much they wanted to hear or not I’m not even talking about that. But today you have the internet, you have newspapers, you name it. You can do whatever you want, you can have talks, you can open such groups, discussion groups and forums about the future of the world. The world is becoming thirsty for connection because it understands that we if we don't attain connection everyone will only have it worse. So what to do, leave it the way it is? We must advance. Meaning the principles of the wisdom of Kabbalah tells us how to advance to the connection of the world, connection between people, to have this inclination towards the connection of all the humanity. Today it's much clearer much more easily understood; today people can say it's impossible, let it go, it's your fantasies on the one hand. On the other hand this goal stays, it has to do with the future of the world and we have to attain it. If we don't do it when the Creator is opening to us then He will do it in such a way that will obligate us forcefully. Meaning both ways either through the good or through the bad we can reach connection between us and the revelation of the Creator between us there is no question there. That plan and that purpose, that goal they have to be revealed. If we do it by ourselves we will hasten the times, it will be through I will hasten it and if not it will be in the due time, with great sufferings and a long time. So let us try as much as we can to do it much quicker, accelerate the times. We’ll connect between us and we’ll reveal the Creator who dwells between us.
5. S. (24:58) When we come to the corporeal world we see that everyone offers solutions and we have to bring the real connection because we have the real path. So what do we have to do to show the world that this is the right path and not all these commercials and advertisements that are offered around?
R. You cannot shut yourself in one ten like Rabbi Shimon’s ten and reach the goal. Today, according to the development of the world, you must work on all of humanity as much as you can, as much as the Creator has opening before you, the field of work. That’s how you must do it. It's not us who are closing down the place of work or opening up the place of work rather whatever comes to us, that’s what we'll take care of.
S. Thank you teacher, I am wishing to just be a quarter of the example that you show us in life.
6. S. (26:31) I don't have a question. The Creator tells me if you give love do you put it as a question mark? I received here so much love. I just want to give all of this love and I don't have a question, I’m just grateful from the bottom of my heart.
7. S. (27:52) What does a house of prayer for all of the nations mean?
R. What is a house of prayer to all the nations, to the whole world. A house of prayer is a heart where we bring out our desires, we bring it out of the heart, that's how we call it. So my house will be a house of prayer for all the nations meaning all of us will connect in one heart and one desire and demand the Creator to fill our heart. And in this way we’ll reach the purpose of our lives, the revelation of the Creator to the created being. That's it.

8. S. (29:33) When you told us about this building that was so empty we felt how all of us have experienced this feeling. To be able to feel this Congress as we do now, we feel that the Creator has filled us so much during this Congress and now we are obligated to spread it to the world through dissemination. Along with it we feel that sometimes our message reaches the ears of the world but not the heart. What do we need? Do we need to connect more, to pray to Him so that it reaches the heart, what can we do?
R. Yes as much as possible we need to connect the hearts and pray that they would open all of us together and that one desire will enter these hearts. And the Creator will be revealed and we’ll get it, that all of reality’s in one place. There is no other place, there is no other reality but the one desire called heart. And this heart includes in it all of the reality, still, vegetative, animate, speaking, all of it and also the Creator is there. So let's hope that we’ll be able to connect ourselves in such a way that we’ll reveal the Creator within us.
9. S. (32:10) With what you’ve just said about dissemination you’ve also said very recently that dissemination to the Jewish community in the whole world is very important because of rising anti-semitism, obviously. You also said in the last lesson about the world is going to start calming down with wars, but we still see this problem of anti-Semitism. The question is I'm coming to is how do you see the future in terms of anti-semitism?
R. I am not so concerned about anti-semitism. As you see also from what I disseminate if they ask then I answer but not that I see myself as going forward to battle anti-Semitism because anti-Semitism is a result that we ourselves, the Jews increase, expand out of our not acting correctly. We have to reach a state that the whole world knows what it lives for, the connection, that my house is a house of prayer for the whole world, that only the connection between people is what brings the revelation of the source of all the good to humanity. And if we do it then certainly in that we will change the attitude of all of the nations and certainly including in that the Jews. Because the Jews are not a nation, there is no nation of Israel. The nation of Israel is something we have to arrive to in our spiritual development. That’s it and not in it there’s something or someone that belongs to Israel. To Israel belongs those who attribute themselves to straight to the Creator. Whomever is developing in that direction belongs to Israel, whomever is developing towards connection with the Creator is called Yehudi, connection with the Creator and not that there are certain people that belong to Yehudi, to Jews in Israel. Throughout history it developed that there was a group that existed a thousand years ago but not more than that. What I want to say that that our work is not against anti-Semitism, no. We need to understand that our work is for the Creator, for the revelation of the purpose of creation for all. For all to know that we have to connect, we have to be together and then we will be successful in our mission. This is our mission and not to save the Jews so they don't get blows because they get blows, they get hit because they don't balance correctly their work, to reveal to everyone what is the purpose of the development of man, how people need to develop. This is the problem. If we take care of that then the entire problem will disappear.
10. S. (36:54) Question about the prayer, what does it mean to be together in prayer?
R. It’s very simple. We need to connect our desires, that they will be connected to one desire, that they want to be a place for the Creator to fill those desires in such a way that out of this single heart this desire will rise straight to the Creator. For Him to take care inside of this desire, this is called to be in one heart, that's it.
S. Now in the Congress all the friends are trying to build a common prayer. How can I from my own vessels reinforce, strengthen that prayer?
R. I would say it this way, we are obligated to feel that only out of our desire, our heart to connect to the heart of the other, only in this form will we reach the force of the request for the Creator to connect our heart, our egoistic hearts to one altruistic heart. And within that unified, single heart the Creator will reveal himself. We don't have anything other than that. This is called the revelation of the Creator in this world.
11. S. (39:40) As I understand our inner work for connection influences the whole world, how should we hold on to it each and every moment?
R. We need to depict our general heart that exists from all of the individual hearts as everyone connects and is included together and is filled together from the Creator, that the Creator is revealing in the general mutual heart. This is it, the matter is very simple, only we have to always be in the inclination to that, in alertness, that this is the main thing. We hope that we will be able to reach it. We're lacking what is called “each will help his friend”, that each is able to help his friend by giving an example, strengthening him and all sorts of ways. That we always imagining, depicting before us that unified form that we have to be in that is called the system of Adam HaRishon. And then within this system we exist and the Creator fills us and we are holding onto Him.
12. S. (41:54) I'm here with a few friends and the rest are online but when I'm with friends here the connection is different than online. It has something extra, it feels so special, it feels like the friends are holding me and I have never felt it before. I want all the friends to be here and feel this too. How can we keep this feeling and share it also with the friends online?
R. I didn't understand the question.
S. So my question is this feeling we feel together when we are here, the feeling of connection it feels different here than when I'm on the internet. So how can we share this feeling with the friends on internet when we go back home?
R. Look, I think we're doing many things to build our forms of dissemination, our systems of dissemination. We're always developing new books, new talks on the internet, our lessons, even lessons for children and more and more. This is all depending on us, we have so many options today that whoever wants can enter our system and certainly will find for himself work in dissemination and many friends will discover and connect to him, this is all I can say. There is no lack and I am getting requests, people who come to me and ask how to disseminate, where to disseminate. The department the dissemination is always advertising my talks with them. Everything is available to you, please open your heart, open your hands, take it and spread it around opening groups, study groups, there is no lack.
M. She's talking about the feeling in the Congress here, how will she pass it to friends that are not here?
R. How does she pass the feeling that is here to the friends? This is expertise, it’s not simple. I think that you should talk to the people that are here and ask them. How can we, how is it possible to explain to a foreign audience around the world what is happening here so that it brings them closer, it interests them and so on and so forth. Try, try to ask people. See how it happens. Try to open a page now online where you can write and see what people write, what can be done with what they write, how to advertise it. I'm sure that you will find good material there.
13. S. (47:02) Hello dear family. Today in Moscow great friends men and women of ours got together and asked to give a message of great gratitude and also question: we gathered in Moscow in the Congress because there was a very strong preparation for it. We could feel that the whole world Kli was thirsty for physical congresses on this level. Here, now we pass our friends from all over Russia, from Kyrgyzstan even from Italy; we feel each other and use every opportunity in order to care for each other. And here in the Congress there’s a feeling of one yearning in which we're all together. We see on the screen the entire world Kli and no distance is felt between us. There’s no distance or time and we would like to be not only in that state but from that state to truly run forward. And the question is how to do it?
R. Only through the desire. Turn to the Creator, pray to the Creator, I have nothing else to say. You spoke many words and in the time being I forgot what you were even going to ask about. That’s not how to ask a question. You ask short and to the point. How do we reach a desire to be together that the Creator will be revealed in us and again to to carry out this desire? That’s all we need. So let's hope that we’ll make care how to turn to Him in a beneficial way.
14. S. (50:07) We talked about anti-Semitism and love, and we also thanked the Ukrainian Kli and the Turkish Kli, we gave them a lot of love. We also want to speak about friends from Israel. I'm from the Ukraine, I'm in the Congress for the first time, and we would like to thank them from the bottom of our heart. What love and care they gave us in every lesson, they even gave us the possibility to sit closer to Rav. They let all of us ask questions, everything was ready for us, we simply came. And we can enjoy everything that is happening here so a huge thanks to you, to the entire Israeli Kli.

15. R. (53:31) In other words that is in fact the purpose of creation, right, the end of the correction of the world. The Creator created, purposely corrupted so that it will be only in bringing all the people in the world, all of the human beings he also writes about it in other places, it doesn't matter, black, white, yellow, it doesn't matter but everyone, everyone needs to enter connection between us in the meaning of His unity. Just like the Creator is One, similarly human beings won't feel themselves as being separate, distant, apart from each other but to such an extent that the Creator will clothe in them, and the Lord will be One and His name One. His name is the Kli, the desire, that we will all be as one desire and the Creator will be revealed there. It's clear.
16. S. (55:00) I'm very happy to see how our home is coming back to life. It is a strong feeling of a home. We gathered here in many small, stony hearts and during all these days we were rubbing on each other and creating the walls of our spiritual home. I hope very much and I believe that even after this Congress, this house will continue to be built. There is a very big fear of how not to ruin it, when more problems will begin and how to keep the unity, that feeling of the power, the beauty, the unity? Maybe there is some practical task for us: how to keep working, how to be together, how to hold on and maybe how to even grow within this unity, how to walk in the path of hastening and rise through all the degrees that need to be built as quickly as possible?
R. Let me tell you even from tomorrow, our lessons are going back to the normal hour, 3:00 a.m.- Israel time and then we have a lesson during the day, as usual, 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. and then we have all kinds of meetings, Gatherings of Friends and so on. So it's not that we are lacking any kind of activity. If you want more go ahead and do it. We are willing to participate in that more and more.
S. If I may add, I'm talking about the inner work of each one of us. What should we have inside what prayer, what request?
R. We're constantly scrutinizing that all the time during the lessons right? How can we build a single desire called a single home or building? How can we penetrate it, build it from our desires, connect our desires and so on? That is what we are talking of. If that is not clear, then you may ask, you may open up some more articles of Baal HaSulam and Rabash, that they're speaking of it. That is what we're talking about here, that is the main thing that the Kabbalists need to do.
17. S. (58:50) It is my first Congress and my first embrace with the friends because until now our connection was only virtual. It seemed to me that our connection is very strong. I was afraid to come here and hug them physically. I didn't know what it would be like. My friend spoke about stony hearts but I didn't meet any stone here.
From early on from my childhood, I was dreaming about a single home, where I and my brothers would live together and would never separate, borders and countries will not separate between us but the dream remained. The child grows and with it the concept of the home grows, brothers and family, so I ran away from my home but now I'm back to it and the number of my brothers grows and the sisters. I want to thank the men and women of Petah Tikva, all of them, anyone who is working and doing duties in this house, thank you for the miracle of Rav Laitman who entered the lives of my friend's, future friends, of the whole world.
This miracle is opening up the magic door, we want to reach one prayer, one cry out to the Creator. I would have liked to ask for this prayer but I don't know how. We want that the whole world will become this home that we feel here full of warmth, concern, love, so that in no other place we felt it before. Please advise us how to do it. We love you very much.
R. Thank you very much, we will learn this together, connect between us is our work, that’s our goal, our mutual goal. No-one can do it alone, only together. So let's hope that according to what I'm hearing now and feeling your hearts, there hasn't been such a convention like this, that people from the first moment of this convention, they started talking about connection; about unity. This is something that is truly special. It seems like the world truly is changing and we are changing with it, and we will succeed, we will succeed together, thank you
18. S. (01:03:51) How can we see reality in the right way?
R. Only through the correct desire, what we see, we see our desire, we see our desire. Each and every one sees his own desire and to the extent that he wants to see the others, to that extent he sees the other; to the extent that he corrects his desire towards the other and to that extent, he sees the other and so on. In our words, all of our corrections, everything we need to do is, all in all, to correct our desire between us, our mutual desire. To bring it to a single desire, to have the Creator penetrated fulfill it, to connect our desires into one desire and that through that desire we will feel all of the reality.
S. What is the single desire?
R. To be ‘as one man in one heart] in mutual bestowal, that each one wants to bestow upon others.
19. S. (01:05:19) I want to say, first of all, that we brought you Turkish coffee but it all remains in the airport. But instead of this we brought you a lot of love and the friends in Turkey also have a mirror Congress. The question is there is a fire in each and every friend who has gathered here and also in the friends all over the world and we can't always have this opportunity because we live in different countries, how do we keep this feeling of one home after the Congress?
R. Our home is in our hearts to the extent we will be connected to one another, there is internet there isn't internet, it doesn't matter. If our hearts want to be together with everyone and each and every one of us then we will feel it, we will feel it without a doubt. We will feel that we are in a reality that is above light year, above all of the systems of connection. Nothing will separate us, nothing will disturb us, you will see, we will be in contact constantly, all the time. First of all we have already built such a system, we have our study systems and the Gatherings of Friends, and every single thing, and we will arrange ourselves even more and more. And also we will meet occasionally, that’s it, we will try and try to be together.
20. S. (01:08:43) I wanted to ask about the excerpt we read now in which Baal HaSulam asks of us to simply disseminate. According to your feeling, the dissemination we’ve had before Congress compared to dissemination we should have after the Congress, we are experiencing so many states of connection now, is what we what we did here will it change the sensitivity of people so that they will receive that dissemination from us, do you feel that a change has occurred?
R. Yes, that is certain, we see this all the time and each one also feels to the extent that this change in the general Kli is made that we are all connected in; and we don't yet feel the general force, the Creator, that is being revealed and connecting us, as if He's fulfilling us from within. We are not yet feeling it but we are on the way there, we're coming closer, I am really happy that we have come to such a sensation and this isn't just for us. We must not think that we're doing it only for our sake, we are doing it for the entire world just like Baal HaSulam tells us in the third excerpt. He says, “one does not live for oneself but for the whole chain. Thus each and every part of the chain does not receive the light of life into itself but only distributes the light of life to the whole chain”. In other words I live in order to reveal the Creator and to extend Him, to distribute Him to all of the world Kli, to everyone, to not make any calculation, any individual calculation, to each and every one, every nation but to everyone together so that it will be just like when you feel a vessel with water, similarly, I want to spill this revelation of Creator to all the creative being, that is what I want to happen.
21. S. (01:12:15) How does dissemination influence our spiritual development, in which way does it influence our spiritual development?
R. In our spiritual development we can’t develop more than the limit of our dissemination, we can't because it turns out that we need to care for the correction of the entire world, and when we do and when we care then we are caring for our development. It's like praying: in the prayer the word for us, for ourselves, we only say at the end of the prayer. We say “for the righteous and for those in awe and for these and for those, and for all the nations of the world, and for everyone, for everyone, and then for us. So we are asking from the Creator that the words for us are the last, that is how we will continue.
22. S. (01:14:05) I feel great connection here and a great home here, and if we have to share this connection with everyone, with the whole world, we must among us build some house like this, this home, so how to build this home and which steps do we need to do to build it correctly, thank you?
R. The home is already being built, it is degrees of this building is NRNHY, that we are building it upon our ego, that we are rising above our ego in the coarseness of Shoresh, Root, first, second, third, fourth, and the light that penetrates the building is the Creator that is being revealed as the light of Nefesh, Ruach, Neshama, Yechida and that is how we build the building, that’s it. Until the building will be built, all one hundred, twenty-five degrees of it in all the degrees of NRNHY, and we are as the substance that holds the building, the walls of the building, the bricks, that is us, that’s all.

(01:18:22) In other words, it's not that every person sits in their home comfortably and quietly, and prays and asks something from the Creator or says something that he wants to notify the Creator with, no, what is most important is praying in public, meaning that I'm praying for the friends, for the public, that is actually what is important that influences the world.

24. S. (01:19:38) I am Victor from the virtual group, I live in Israel in the town of Karmiel, in our town we have a wonderful group! We have the physical group also but I'm in a virtual ten. We have in our group friends from America, Kazakhstan, Russia, Ukraine, I am happy that I'm actually the linking thread that passes the joy of the Congress to my friends, we were supposed to meet in the desert in the Congress but we ended up meeting here. So my question is does it mean that we grew up, we matured and now we can feel this desert in our hearts and convene in a more convenient conditions, and this is the sign that our feelings are correct?
R. You're thinking correctly, indeed we know longer need any exits, not to the exhibition center gardens or to the desert but rather all we need is to go in, not outside but within, into our common heart.
25. S. (01:22:03) I have got a little bit confused, I never had such a feeling of home like I do here, and I don't know what to do with that feeling. I participate in dissemination, I have the ten, I have the world Kli, how to ask that each one will be, will have the opportunity to have this feeling of this house, of this warmth, what to do not to harm myself and the world?
R. To open up your heart to all of the friends so that everyone will enter your heart and then it will work out, ‘the Creator will finish it for me’, as we say it. Meaning you can be certain that if you want to feel everyone together then the Creator will do this work; when you think that you need to do this work, this is something that is unrealistic. But if you want that the Creator will carry out this work, let Him do it and together with Him you can go from stage to stage, and you will see how He's actually executing this work and you will be the Creator's partner throughout the process.

R. You do not disappear and nothing disappears but rather in that you bring about the correct order, one who carries out this work, and our work, all the work we have to do is called ‘the work of the Lord’, ‘the work of the Creator’, ‘the Creator’s work’. Meaning that He has to do our work and I only need to give Him room, to move aside so that He will have room to work and that I am willing to help Him in anything; meaning all the time, all the time to ask of Him all the time to assist Him in all kinds of different forms of work but not more than that. He carries out the work, we only ask and we wait and expect it, the most important is the prayer.
26. S. (01:26:06) I would like to thank you and all the friends for giving us the opportunity to get together. My friend is asking how do I need to pray so that the Creator will perform a correction upon me?
R. I want to connect with everyone so that the Creator will connect between us and that we will be ‘as one man in one heart’, all of the created beings. When we return to the form of Adam HaRishon, we become incorporated together in each other, we get closer to each other, and then the Creator, He is one for everyone and He clothes within us and fills us, and we all feel ourselves and Him as a single system, it will happen.
S. How can I overcome this feeling of pride when I do good to a friend?
R. After a few operations when you want to do good, you suddenly discover that sometimes in between these actions of doing good you're actually thinking about good for yourself and not for others. And out of that you get a bad feeling that you are actually thinking about yourself, and then you turn to the Creator and you ask for the correction of the heart and you want that your heart will have a good feeling towards others. And after a few times, again you catch yourself, that you are thinking about your own benefit and not the other benefit of others again. And this is how it happens once in a while but in-between you are actually correcting yourself in that you are, it is called ‘repenting’, you regret that you are thinking about your own benefit. Try it and you will see, and if it doesn't work go ahead and ask, we will talk about it also in our lesson your questions are very good.
27. S. (01:30:03) Each one in this hall is a result of some action of dissemination from the same friends that came before us, and we came after them but first of all, we all came after you dear teacher since dissemination is your entire life. And I find myself when I'm writing something or telling something to people, they don't believe me because I say one thing but I live the way I do, as I live and that is my pain because there is another form of life and I know it because it is here. What should we do in order for dissemination to not be just words but for it to be alive for people to believe us?
R. We are operating out of the desire that the Creator places in each and every one, the Creator gives every person a desire and He gives him an opportunity to use this desire and the person has to try to turn his actions, his desires in the direction of the best possible bestowal, as much as possible, towards people, towards the world. This is why we don't need to regret how much my heart is still shut and closed within itself but rather we should try to simply continue, simply continue even to disseminate the wisdom of Kabbalah in egoistic way, it is good if I do it in egoistic way.
It doesn't matter that right now for the time being I can't do it in another way, so what will I do, so I will not disseminate I won't do anything? No, I'm in egoist, fine, I am willing to work only so that I will have the next world, so that I will have income, so that I will have something, fine but nevertheless I will do something. It's true that this is called Lo Lishma, it's called in order to receive but some action comes out of it and therefore we need, even with such thoughts, to publish books, to publicize ourselves as much as possible. You have the internet before you, you can distribute materials in all the languages, all over the world, try. There are articles which we recommended you will publicize truly for broad dissemination all over the world. Our world is undergoing very difficult states; this year will also be a difficult year, people will not be able to fly and do all kinds of things like before. But rather than most important thing is the internet and this is why we have to go in there and in all the languages as much as possible more and more and more to learn how do we publicize there. Try to do that, I would use anything that was possible back then, what did we have back then: books and newspapers in the 1970s. That is how it was fifty years ago, maybe even more.
28. S. (01:35:22) I have two questions from my ten: does the Creator use this great balance between love and hatred, meaning He gives one person the ability to love and the other He gives him hatred? Again, does the Creator use this great balance between hatred and love by causing one person to hate and the other person to love?
R. Certainly, and this is what we see in our world as well, on our degree we see it that it is happening, it's all in order to correct the hearts. You can just connect them directly with love to one another, so until the Creator adapts the hearts and He takes them through all kinds of states, these and those such that they begin to feel each other, it takes time. Many states are required for man’s heart to go through in order to be correctly connected with others.
S. I have another question may I, why do I feel more connection specifically in the state of hatred, of separation?
R. Repeat please?
S. Again, why do I feel greater connection specifically in that state of separation, of hatred?
R. Well, for the meantime you feel this way because you need to learn the different states and corruptions, mostly the corruptions where they are, you see this is why it's shown to you in such a way but later on you will start to scrutinize it and to perform more of subtle actions where here a little bit more love, a little bit more rejection, a little bit more nearing. It will be through forms of connection and distancing that are more subtle but not yet but you will succeed.
29. S. (01:39:00) Each and every one of us does what he can in dissemination, even though it's not easy, but it seems it's just like a drop in the sea now. Should we aspire to not just telling about ourselves but that our message will become a trend and people won't watch Hollywood films but instead watch our shows and films? That they won't, not that Harry Potter will be the best seller but our messages, our movies, our materials. Is that possible or is the ego so cunning that it's not letting us break through like this, should we strike on that point so we can have this global breakthrough?
R. I think that the Creator will not let us have such a leap and whenever we will need that He will allow us to do it, and will actually do it Himself, this is how it will happen. Here we are, we really shouldn't do anything except to annul ourselves maximally and to do as much as possible of an effort in this dissemination but how do we do it? The Creator will take care of it, let us simply use the dissemination of the materials that we have, engage in it, translation as much as possible, you have whom to consult with, people to consult with, you have friends who are experts in that for many years already, and so let us disseminate what we have, and in a way that for the time being the world is allowing us to do it and we will succeed. We should invest a little bit more of our desire and then it will break through more and more through more channels in our dissemination.
30. S. (01:42:20) In Australia friends gathered from all around, from Asia they flew from many hours and they are with us the whole time. Now it is the middle of the night, AM, Sunday morning, nine hours ahead from us and they are with us the whole time and they are sharing with us that they feel connection not just between them but also with us. That there is no time, no distance, there is nothing, they really feel that they are with us, and from that they're asking now that the convention will end, this is the last lesson how can they continue in the sensation of being above time, above distance just like now they are connected to one another and together with us, how can they continue this after the convention?
R. The most important is to be connected, there is nothing else to say, I can’t suggest anything else for them except for being with us on the same hours but they have such hours that the day and the nights are opposite, what else can I suggest? I don't know, it seems to me that they should simply as they're doing it right now, right, they are recording the lessons and later on they watch them in a different time because they cannot during work, they can't join the lesson, it is a problem for the time being. It's not organized like that in our world, we can stop a planet from spinning but let's wait for that to happen!
31. S. (01:45:00) We are from the German Kli. it’s a very International Kli, we come from different nations. 32. S. (01:46:16) Is it realistic that at the end we will all reach the secret of working for the Creator, that it's the end of correction, that it’s a state in our imagination, just like Utopia, our path, the path of connection and dissemination?
R. As the Creator created a single Kli, a single desire and He broke it through the upper light, so we should go through all the corrections and bring this vessel to a single correction so that the upper light will once again be revealed inside a single vessel and this will be a single correction of the world. And there is an allotted for time for this and we have to reach it and we are on the way to it, and actually close to the end. This is why Baal HaSulam says about our generation that it is the last generation and so we only need to make an effort and hasten the times and then as much, as quickly as possible, we will reach the general correction of the world so that each and every one, doesn't matter who he is, what he is, and when he lived or die in our world and what is happening to him. Everyone, every one, all of the souls will connect together into a single vessel called ‘the soul of Adam HaRishon’, and they will all be filled with the light of the Creator with the upper NRNHY.
33. S. (01:49:12) What is the role of this convention in spreading the wisdom of Kabbalah?
R. The role of this Congress is it is actually aimed towards several goals: first of all, one goal is to bring our entire world Kli back to the state that existed before the pandemic, before the coronavirus, and to continue as it used to be before so that a few times a year we would have Congresses in Israel and in few other places in the world and this would give us a push towards advancement. And this is why we very much wanted to do it, and until we reached it, such a long time went by, I hope that we will do it more with greater frequency, that’s it.
34. S. (01:51:30) Well, friends are already asking questions about tomorrow but we are in the lesson about Prayer; we have seven minutes left until the end of the lesson, so the lesson is on the topic of a prayer but we didn't really raise a prayer.
