Baal HaSulam. Peace in the World (Good and Bad Are Evaluated by the Actions of the Individual toward Society)

1. R. (05:15) He is very simply explaining to us here that the Creator from the absolute corrected state, the eternal state, lowers us to the opposite state and shows us all the bad possible things that could take place in the connection between us, and gives us the possibility of rising to His perfection by arranging the connections and relations between us such that each completes everyone. Specifically through such relations we will be able to come to correction. Everything that we receive, we will receive the revelation of evil which needs to help us to come to the right connection. Through this we will learn who the Creator is because we are assembling ourselves in such a way that we complement and completes one another, and then in this completion we learn what the Creator is, ‘’Come and see’’ ‘’- “Bo-re,” what is nature, what are the qualities, what is the essence of the Creator that we attained by composing, assembling, ourselves in this Lego of desires and thoughts, as all together the correct sum, correct processing, of our desires and thoughts that we build is called ‘’You made me.’’ Through this, together we all attain Him in a complete way, the most internal and unique that can’t be attained any other way. That is why He created all of reality and us specifically in a manner that through connecting and assembling ourselves to another form of ‘’One will help his friend,’’ by this we actually build the system called “Bo-re,” ‘’Come and see’’ - Creator.
2. S. (08:06) Baal HaSulam writes, he describes the whole state where the public and the individual one. Then, he says that things are if everyone performs their role towards the public. In the end, he writes that the downside is that everyone has to understand that his good and the good of the public are one.
R. We would do these things. All together, we are not doing anything new, ‘’There is nothing new under the sun,’’ except for our attainment, our awareness of where we are. Meaning, all together, the baby or the little child that is building with his blocks, he does not do anything good all together, he is just building himself. He is developing his mind, his approach to understanding reality, how this reality is made up, but the reality exists. It is just him who needs to prepare himself to understand it, to feel it, and to approach it correctly.
S. Can we understand that the benefit of the public and mine are one without working on it?
R. We can't without this, you see from our lives that children. If you don't let them grow correctly, they will grow maximally on the level of Adam, like Mowgli who is growing in the jungle, and no more than that.
S. How can we bring everyone to engage for the sake of the public?
R. That is why the Creator shattered everyone, confused everyone, mixed everyone. That is why we are in the world that is all connected, and that we are as seemingly revealing this connection that we don't want to be connected to the extent in which each one wants to devour another, and one country is eating another country and so on, that is on one hang. On the other hand, we see that nevertheless from the point of the wisdom of Kabbalah, it is impossible to advance in any other way. Rather, as much as we advance, we will develop in a way that we will be dependent on another. Now is the critical time where we are moving from a state in which we can destroy one another to a state in which we will discover that we can't live without one another. Countries won't be able to, but this one has this and this one has that. Then, it still seems to countries that they can manage one another forcefully, no. Soon, they will discover the extent in which they are dependent on one another, inevitably, all things that prior to that where they wanted to be defined to be in control, but actually that connection begins to control them. Then, without any choice we reach the connection that we need.
S. It turns out that a simple person, not necessarily governments, can always run away to his family, when he says I will be okay with my family, I will be fine with them.
R. Soon he will feel that running away in such a way disconnects him from the good life.
S. This will be an opening to a new kind of work?
R. Yes, where he will uplift above the family and the country, and later even above humanity in order to be connected to work for the sake of the Creator, for the sake of the general system of all the worlds.
S. How will such an understanding come with such an ability to advance towards this direction?
R. Let the Creator do His work, don’t worry, let the Creator work. You see, what we do, the world continues to follow its old ways and is moving towards correction, and you can’t. We can hasten times, as it is written ‘’Israel, meaning those who yearn for the Creator. hasten times,’’ but no more than that. We are already in the generation of correction, the last generation, so don't worry it will happen, it is truly ahead of us. You will see how the world is entering into all kinds of blows, pressures. This is how the Creator is guiding us more directly, correctly, towards the goal.
3. S. (13:21) Baal HaSulam writes about the good of the public. What is the good of the public, the benefit for the public, of the society?
R. The benefit of the public is where the public will be connected according to the law of nature in order to bestow to one another so that through this bestowal we will bestow to the Creator. Then, the Creator clothes the public and it raises itself to the degree of the Creator, and then to be one Kli [vessel] and one light.
S. It turns out that without tuning on the Creator there is no benefit for the public. The problem is that the public doesn't think this way. For them, something else is good.
R. We don't go to explain to human society what is happening, then our advancement will be only by blows, only through the path of suffering. This is why we need to combine in this a little of the path of Torah, the path of light. Otherwise, certainly, it will be through wars, world wars, horrible things that will take place and it will be very long timewise. Because the spiritual world, all together, the Creator has no measurement relative to time, motion and space. There are no such things in spirituality. Therefore, what we are operating outside of that when it comes to time, in spirituality it doesn't exist. Therefore, we always want to hurry, hurry, to manage as much as possible, as fast as possible, but in spirituality there is no such thing. We need to understand that if we don't do what we need to, relative to spirituality, then we will enter the Klipa [shell] which are actions only according to time, and then it will press us all the way to war.
S. In spirituality, it turns out there are two forms? One is complete and whole?
R. Of course. That is what we learn that the Creator to start created everything and the form of the end of correction, that the light of Ein Sof [Infinity] fills everything and shines everywhere. This is called the light of Ein Sof and the vessel of Ein Sof that are in a state in which the Creator created and decided upon to begin with. When He wanted, He did it. S. If we are talking about a certain specific public, a certain nation, can we say for this country maybe there is a form that is completely broken by blows and there is a form by which it is connected completely?
R. Throughout the process that we are all going through those changes, if you are talking about the countries and nations, then there is a lot to talk about here. We will do that maybe also under the framework of this article ‘Peace in the World.’ We will talk about that, we will talk, it is not simple, every nation, every country, has its time, its role. The question is the extent in which you can elude this role or to observe it in a more correct way, to the extent in which we discover or not the role, it is a problem. Now, we are not in the history we have been through, but rather what is ahead of us. Before us there is to explain to everyone what the last stage, we are standing in is, and that all that remains for us is to yearn connection between everyone as in this connection we will discover the connection between everyone, and then in that connection discover - reveal, the upper force which is one for all. 4. S. (18:43) What is the shattering when a person doesn’t feel that he is part of the public? Were there people that did feel that they are part of the public?
R. No. But the revelation of evil that was revealed is revealed even in every state that could be, just in a worst way. There never was a corrected state, and we all come from the shattering.
S. When we talked about the shattering of the soul of Adam HaRishon, that was before humans walked on two? Where is it in history?
R. No. There is no history access. The access of history is that we come from apes and we developed zoologically until the degree of humans, until we start to receive in the human degree all kinds of discernments from Adam HaRishon which is the first Kabbalist that was revealed 5800 years, more or less.
S. So the feeling of the shattering, in the moment man appeared there is a shattering in him already?
R. Yes. The difference between an animal and an Adam - a human, between an ape and a human. 5. S. (21:45) What comes first, the deficiency or the intention?
R. Everything comes from a deficiency. If there is no deficiency, a person becomes inanimate or vegetative, or animal. Only when he comes to the speaking - the Adam, a man who asks about the upper force that is managing him, that is drawing him to be a man, to be an Adam that resembles the Creator. Then, from that deficiency he begins to rise. Meaning, the difference, that is also explained by Baal HaSulam, that the difference between the man and beast is that man yearns and aspires to reveal the upper force above him which is the Creator - What am I for, for who, why? And so on.
6. S. (22:52) How does it serve the purpose of creation? Most of humanity is unaware of the laws of nature. What does the Creator gain from this unawareness?
R. The benefit for Creator and for humanity is that we need to reveal the Creator, and to perform a bridge between the Creator and all the created beings. This is all of our benefit, our profit, for us and for all of humanity as the Aviut [coarseness] is so great that it is impossible to be this way without yearning for the Creator, the coarseness is too great. It is foolish, it is despicable, but we can’t rise above it. This means we are in the last generation. We need to understand that to the extent in which we are advancing towards the correction of creation. Then, the creatures, even though it seems to us that they are developing, they are entering into more egotistical systems and more just despicable ones.
S. From the other side there is pressure that obligates them to reach mutual dependency?
R. Yes, correct. That is how it will be. On one hand pressure, and on the other hand it is like a baby that constantly wants to play. Why? Because nature obligates him.
7. S. (24:24) What does it mean to be in the sorrow of the public, and to feel the problems of the public?
R. What is it called? I don't know. Look at how you do this, maybe in your family. How you are sorry with the family, you are joyous with family. That is how you have to be with the public. This depends on the measure of your development.
8. S. (26:30) Is there a difference between Adam HaRishon as a system and Adam the man - the first Kabbalist? Are they the same?
R. Yes, it is a good question. There is Adam HaRishon, which is the system which we learn, which is the character of the desires that are connected together in such a way. There is Adam HaRishon, which is a man of this world, who reached attainment of the system and therefore, he is also called Adam HaRishon. Adam HaRishon, the first Adam that attained the Creator, that wanted to reveal Him, that connected as much himself to all of humanity of those times, which was almost 5800 years ago, and he even wrote for us the book ‘Raziel the Angel.’ What is Raziel? Raziel is the secret force that manages the world, which is called angel. So that is what he discovered, and we have this book. At one point, we can even read what is written there although it is very short and not so clear, but we can. We will read it together, nevertheless, it is a book that was written thousands of years ago.
9. S. (27:43) It is written, ‘’according to the damage he causes to the public in general.’’ How can I harm my ten and the whole Kli [vessel]?
R. Out of you not overcoming the rejection that you have towards your friends, towards all of humanity even. That is the damage that you are performing.
10. S. (28:19) How through concern and the benefit of others does the good of the public take place?
R. The public is the sum of the individuals that want to connect between them to one system. Hence, disregarding this connection of each and every one leads to shattering of the public, and vice-versa. The more we want to rise above the gap, then this brings the healing to the betterment of the public. This is a very big problem that is ahead of us, and specifically we in the Bnei Baruch group, both men and women, must try to nevertheless be connected in such a way between us, in the connection between us. That is the source of all the good to each of us and to the whole world.
11. S. (29:43) How can we, the world Kli, help humanity to make the transition gently?
R. First, we need to try on our own to be connected that way. Then, the upper light through us will operate upon all the public and all of humanity. Then, they will even on their own start to feel that in them there is a certain special place that is worthwhile to attribute themselves to those places that they are suffering from, because it is worthwhile for them to be connected to us.
12. S. (30:26) I heard in the lesson that the revelation of evil helps us advance. Why does it come to us so little? Usually, the ego feels good with itself?
R. The revelation of evil is revealed in a smaller way, but it is revealed from above to the extent in which we can tolerate it and correct it.
13. S. (30:55) You said, ’let the Creator work.’’ How can we help the Creator? What to add to hasten time?
R. By us wanting with all our forces to come closer to the Creator in order to adhere to Him, and to nullify ourselves towards Him. By that, we are giving Him the possibility to work.
14. S. (31:20) What I think should adapt to the public, it is a completely different approach, it is not clear what the approach is that one should take on itself?
R. That it cannot be that in this current time and the more that we advance it will be any better than for the whole public.
S. Yes, but if you were to tell me to do something good to the public, I would do whatever I think to convince everyone that is good.
R. You are like an ordinary politician and whatever you feel that is right because I feel this way and who knows better than me what I want and so you are coming and pressuring everyone.
S. That is clear that is how everyone is doing so what does it mean for the benefit of the public like Baal HaSulam means?
R. It is like what Baal HaSulam means.
S. So how should I add?
R. Teach them only one thing, that connection between everyone is the higher discernment, it is the upper force, it is the highest value, only connection. In what way doesn't matter, as long as long as it is connection between everyone, that everyone will move in that direction, but for what? So it is for the benefit for everyone and not for the benefit of some dictator or the benefit of some control.
S. What should we do with the feeling of connection between the opposites harms me, I feel it would harm me to connect to someone who thinks the opposite of what I do.
R. You need to connect two groups who are already ready and that are talking about connection between them to the essence of bestowing. That is all. You cannot just go and look on the market for someone to connect to as we have to connect the groups that are already slowly learning the principles of connection. Within which we already assemble the bigger parts of Adam HaRishon until we compose it and connect it all. We have no choice as we will have to implement and realize the approach that can appear to you as Socialists or Communists or Democratic, I don't know no what but you know how against I am of all those words of hate, and all of those things because they all receive the greatest warping of all. We will learn how to do that.
15. S. (34:49) When we started reading the Shamati articles there is a date of 1941 or 1943 when the whole world was in World War 2, Baal HaSulam wrote his spiritual things for the future but we remember that before he came out of Poland he wrote and wanted so much to tell people but no one heard him so he came to Israel and started teaching here. The whole world went through decades of suffering and you are telling us now that we have to explain to the whole world that if we don't connect, we will go through greater suffering. During the lesson we are part of it but after the lesson we are like this squirrel in the wheel running around like the whole world, how not to go into the suffering?
R. write and talk about it with all of your abilities, still it stays in the air and in the web as you don't understand how much it affects, even thinking without talking, even when we do talk or write in such a way that many people can see us, each and every one. If we write in such a way that people will incorporate in it without pushing them away then we are really performing the big corrections there. Nothing to do about it as Baal HaSulam and before him many Kabbalists were and acted if we can say so, they were negligent in succeeding in what they wanted to succeed. This is the path of correction. Do you think that I am in a different state, no. I don't see or I don't understand, there is no choice as we have to keep on going. Shut our eyes and keep on going or the opposite, open our eyes but it is different eyes. Follow our teachers.

16. S. (40:58) Why not let the Creator continue to do his work, why do we have to take it into our hands?
R. We need to be partners, the Creator can do everything in the final correction, for him it is the upper force, the upper light that specifically broke the vessel and organized it in the 9opposite way of wholeness and we discover us in a world that is all bad even though this bad is not so revealed, but bit by bit we reveal this evil to the extent we can correct it. That is how we between the two stripes, revelation of evil, correction, revelation of evil, correction, revelation of evil, correction, as we rise, we discover greater evil. We also have the strength to correct it when we reach the final correction where all the evil and good connect on the middle line then we feel and understand like the upper force that has created these two forces.
S. This is repetitive, this good and bad in nature, so what do we need to do?
R. We have to manage correction, we have to hasten the times, we won't let these things happen as they are, this is called the path of suffering to correction. But rather we want to advance ourselves to leave humanity in the right way, not as it used to go until today.
S. What would be different as every time we tried to do this and lead humanity in a certain way it only causes bad?
R. Example.
S. Everything that was done in the world only seems to make it worse?
R. Because it wasn't done in the right way they only acted from their ego, give me an example of somebody doing it in the right way and not being successful. There were such examples but that also was for the preparation of the vessel, but that is incorrect, our world never reached a state like we have, we have an understanding, a feeling, we have data of so many people waking up, many people are awakening to correction because they have no choice but they understand that you cannot go in any other way. Look at the world where it is heading to and where it is going, look at the state between the countries, between humans with ecology and everything, whatever you want. We are really before our revelation of evil like never before
S. Are we now practically managing the world in the connection between?
R. No not yet, but we may do that if we succeed. If we succeed. There is certainly an opportunity but will it happen?
S. Does this depend on whether we will be corrected?
R. It only depends on us.
S. In our correction or our attainment?
R. Attainment has nothing to do with it, what is attainment, more or less these are things that are like wisdom even though it is a higher wisdom but the correction is related to connection this is what you humanity needs more than ever. All of it, it will be revealed in the future how much the whole world is in it and has to have it.

17. S. (45:47) Truth, mercy and justice and peace have just made a mess for humanity but Baal HaSulam says let's see what good we can hope to get from these four qualities. So they will remain truth, mercy and Justice and we will just use them as good or some other governance comes?
R. Yes, yes, yes. Now we are about to learn what we should do with these four attributes of how to govern them in a way that they will lead us to completeness.
18. S. (46:35) How can we explain to the whole world and to ourselves what connection is?
R. What connection is? Completion, when each and every one of us is a part of something that is complete and the more, we connect between us in a form that comes closer to the complete form, that we can discover the force of life. Imagine to yourself that there is a person that is completely crushed, hands, feet and all of his organs, as much as you can collect him into you it turns out that this human goes back to his life, to his role, to his duty. This is what we need, we don't understand that humanity even though it is incorporating billions of people and hundreds of nations, that it is only one body and we are heading to a state where we can see more and more how much we belong to one mechanism, one system, one dependency. It also is clear to us today that if we will start severing the connections between us, we won't do any good by that and staying in these connections because they are egoistic and they are putting pressure on us and then we can say that they are putting us to death, that is also bad.
Only thing that is left for us is one thing, to go back to a state where we are disconnected is impossible, continuing in a state as it is now, we also cannot do. Only to correct the form of connection between us that will enable us to be more connected in a mutual way together all of us into one system. The world, our world is missing only to be in unity and understanding and connection, this is what it is missing. Because each and every one can be corrected only under the condition that he is connected and communicating with the other correctly, this is what we should do and this correction is called the correction of our ego. Now we have to learn this about us in our life as you see how hatred increases between all of the nations between everyone for everyone and fear, really. We will learn this out of our own life, the wisdom of Kabbalah talks about our life, this is why we are called the last generation.
19. S. (50:30) What is human society afraid of losing if I go to connection?
R. They don't understand, this is what it means, in the meantime you understand that everyone is engaged and being stronger than the other as everyone is trying to show that he can decide his view, his ruling of the others, this is what is happening.
S. So the fear is to lose the power?
R. Yes, to lose the force of control, that is the problem. For us it is not in our society, we must not fear of losing the force of control, on the contrary I want to get rid of my force of control and I want to be connected with the friends in a way that I annul to them as Rabash writes in the Social Articles.20. S. (51:50) Does the concept of good need to be identical to everyone that each one has its own concept of its own about good?
R. About the concept of good, everyone is equal and the same, understanding each other as there is only one goodness, the control of the Creator between us. We're talking about evil, there are disputes with each and every one discovering different views in him but about this concept of good, the more we go into the concept we discover this is one unified and unique concept that unifies everyone in a way that it is only one. That is why the whole world comes out from the one concept and through the shattering it comes back by the correction of the lower ones, by the agreement of the lower ones, by the acknowledgment of the lower ones to the concept of one. This is what we especially have to explain to ourselves and then to all of humanity.21. S. (53:09) If there is a phenomenon where you cancel before the friends and they reveal more annulment towards your annulment?
R. Yes of course, it is not the friends it is the Creator doing that, if you annul to the friends, you have a connection with the Creator here and what you get as a result of that is an enhancement from the Creator giving you an opportunity to advance against these negative responses, seemingly negative so you can rise higher up end up without cessation.
22. S. (54:39) How to agree to lose control?
R. Simply like a baby falling asleep in his mother's arms that is how you should fall asleep, in the group's arms. That is the best way to grow to the right development.
S. What preparation is needed to fall asleep like that?
R. The importance of the society where you attain specifically the purpose of creation.
