Baal HaSulam. The Freedom (The Necessity to Choose a Good Environment)
1. R. If we understand as much, as we understand more, the correction of creation, which is only the result of the shattering of the vessel of Adam HaRishon so all of our correction is in connection between us. No one has the forces or the desire to connect with one another we see in all the still vegetative animate and speaking and even in the humans on the speaking level, as they say his ego is in everything the ego is exploding and pushing everyone then rejecting everyone in all directions. So how do we start correcting ourselves and come back to the states where we can see the new corrected world, ourselves revealing the Creator. How do I organize everything. So Baal HaSulam explains here the way it should be. Whether we want it to or not humanity will still need to advance.

2. R. (02:40) That means that we understand we say Torah means the light that reforms. It comes by wanting to bring this light of correction closer to people. By engaging in it means that we are studying the Torah. We are studying the results of the light after doing the actions of connection the light comes and changes their relationships between them and on that they learn more and more how to connect. This way they learn the Torah, meaning of actions of the light on the shattering that happened before and how the light can fix the vessels that is called studying Torah.

3. R. (06:22) Here there's nothing really to add because he explains it in the perfect way. That only the right environment, that if a person is incorporating it and they can bestow on him and correct him. It's not, he is tossed out of that environment and he walks the path of suffering and who knows maybe in this Incarnation it will not work already and maybe in the next one his part from Adam HaRishon will reach the correction again. It will but when and how that is already, it all depends on the upper plan. That is why we need to really appreciate the environment that we are in. That there's nothing else better than this environment and the more and more we need to try to come close and adhere to it because only by such borders that when we are incorporated in this environment, we can put ourselves under the influence of the upper light and it will already take care of us. In such a way bring us down from our ego and raise us in the force of bestowal
4. S. (08:00) We use a lot of times in an environment that is not the society or where we evolve spiritually, however the one that we work in the material world, can this compromise the spiritual action if the environment is wrong, let's say the working environment?
R. No. It just teaches you as much as you need to build yourself in the correct way, internally in the friends. That is it. We are always in all kinds of spheres from the biggest one to the smaller and smaller and smaller. In this way we always are so it has nothing to do with it. Even if you don't know you are somewhere in the world, in all of humanity in the still vegetative and animate, it always works on us in such a way. We need to separate between corporeality including our family and the work and all kinds of other things that God forbid I do not want to harm anybody I know and I do not want to disregard anybody but I have another part of me that belongs to the group and this is this part is where I correct myself my internal parts and I have corporeal work and spiritual work in our world. In this way we need to try and do the things, that is why there is no problem that I work at some job and I am among strangers. Also Baal HaSulam and Rabash did all kinds of external work. it did not disturb them at all from reaching spirituality. Rabash used to work for a whole week away from home with construction workers paving roads because back then there was no other job.
Afterwards only for the Shabbat he would come home and after Shabbat he would go to Baal HaSulam for a lesson with a few more friends and that is it, that is what he had, there were no phones or anything. That is how it works. That is how they work. That is why we need to do everything from what we are in this world in trying to build that environment, what does it say, the obligation in choosing the right environment, the decision to choose the right environment. It is not my job or the city or country where I live. Good environment is me and those people that are like me and we want to reach the connection between us and discover the Creator in our connection. The Creators are purpose, our goal, the means, the connection between us, the vessel of Adam HaRishon.
5. S. (11:56) What does it mean that my life will mend and what will remain is Torah and good deeds, what does that mean?
R. What will you have left after the material disappears. You are a result of your actions, that is it, what do you think, what else do you take with you. Your millions, you did not take them. You do not take anything with you. So relax, stop and as much as you can do things that you can take with you from this world to the next. That is only actions of bestowal and the right actions of bestowal you can only do in the group.

R. I understand you, you need with force to keep going until you obligate the Creator to help you start digesting this, believe me it took me many years. I was in my ego. I was worse than everybody, worse than everybody. I'm telling you maybe because of that Rabash brought me closer to him and held me close to him because if not I just destroyed everything there. According to my nature, I am a clogged egoist, I cannot understand anything, that is why I understand you. Look what he writes here, from the middle of this paragraph that we learned, only by choosing the right environment can a person control himself. By that he is worthy for the reward or punishment only in that, all of our work is that, to choose every time a better environment. Meaning if I'm in a group, I need to organize the connections in the group as strongly as I can and to understand that all the disturbances that I see before me, the friends or internal our health, it doesn't matter what, it is all in order for me above that to fight for the connection. That is it. Only that is called that I choose the right environment.
6. S. (15:53) I'm a little confused because according to what is written, it says that we need to choose the environment but is it correct to say that the Creator chose the environment for us or do I have to choose it every day?
R. The Creator brings you to a place and says take this for yourself. He brings you but afterwards you have to strengthen it, that is called that you are choosing an environment meaning that every time you choose a better environment. You organize the environment in a way that in them you can advance to words the Creator which is within the environment.
7. S. (16:59) Can I ask a question about the unity evening and its importance. What is the importance of coming to the unity evening physically if you're living in Israel, is there a difference between coming there physically or connecting virtually like the rest of the world Kli?
R. It's not really in the topic but it's kind of. So let's say this. It's going to happen on the 28th, the following Sunday within 10 days, we in Israel are going to have a unity evening, a connection evening. An evening where we want to come together if you are outside of Israel obviously you do not need to come. We are going to stay in the connection between us, obviously you are going to participate and be with us and by that we are still connecting. But whoever can come physically, I think, I'm not obligating anybody, I think it is worth coming. I think it is really worth it to come here and to participate with us. I do not know what limitations there are, I'm not part of the organization of this evening but if you ask me, I recommend and I'm inviting each one of you from within the borders of the country to come to that evening. I hope we will connect strong, good, and also that we will keep it and extend it to the whole world, to all of our groups, to spread it to the whole world. I'm really asking from whoever is overseas, do not come especially for this because there's some of you that would come, you will get the exact same portion as everybody here, do not worry about it. But whoever is in Israel, I think they should come. Still the opportunity we have if a person misses out on this and disregards so having the opportunity that is already disregarding connection. That is why I do not think that you should not miss out on it and disregard it.
8. S. (20:45) How to give oneself to the influence of the group and not remain on the influence of natural influences?
R. Only to understand that spirituality is in the center of the group and I have no choice. I must be in a group and as much as I can in the center of the group and then, only then I discover the Creator there. That is very simple. Our goal is the Creator, to discover him, to adhere to him, to be in the center of all reality, so he is there instead of the group and as much as it seems to mean that I'm rejected by it and have no choice and I forget and I disregard. I still need to come closer to it
9. S. (21:50) Although we are in the virtual world, what is the influence of the physical closeness to friends in cases where it's possible, is being in a physical environment better than the virtual?
R. Where possible of course a physical environment is more important than the virtual. Rabbi Shimon took his students and ran away to the cave and there they would sit and study. It happens in such a way in many cases with a lot of Kabbalists. The ARI used to separate from everyone with his students, in the north there are a lot of places in the North of Israel where the Kabbalists used to hide themselves and study with their students and study in such a way to connect. So that is very important, a physical connection in a close place is very important and if not so a virtual connection in our virtual network and in our times, it is almost the same, the main thing is as much as you can to be close to the connection, to the center of the connection.
10. S. (23:31) Is the 10 is always the best environment for us, what is the role?
R. Yes yes yes yes only that and nothing else to add, only the 10 is the center of the connection between us, through the 10 whatever you think but with the friends with the friends in the ten.
11. S What is the role with the rest of the tens according to the rest of the world Kli and the environment?
R. To connect that we connect in the tens in the right way, that we connect between the rest of the tens in such a way that the 10’s become as one and like now that we are connecting 10 as one, then we will be connecting tens into one
12. S. (25:05) Continuing the importance of your physical connection, do you recommend opening the study halls physically?
R. I do not know, I do not know what is happening on the outside, I do not know what is happening with the pandemic, the virus. I do not know what is happening with all the other conditions, noy with the people's connection ability to connect. I don't know, we have a management and they are organizing all of this, I'm only in it for the connection. I think the connection between us, can keep going virtually and develop more and more and it could be a physical connection can cause friction and arguments. We need to try to do it but without pressure.
13. S. (26:23) I heard the woman cannot connect?
R. Yes, women cannot connect like men, it's not in their nature to connect like men. A woman can maybe have one or two friends and also two is already a lot, one good friend but for men they have no limits. They can go to the sauna together, go to all kinds of places. For them the connection is very simple, here a man is really like a child he doesn't really develop in that direction but a woman grows from her nature, she needs to be a mother, to give birth, to raise children. That is why she is in different systems with women, different relationships. But now we are in the state that all women need to connect as Eve, Chava, that exists next to one image of a man which is Adam.
14. S. (28:02) How not to relate to the environment egotistically not that I need the environment but the environment needs me?
R. I think that the man that is in the environment the less he thinks of himself, the more he disconnects from himself, his “I” and is included in the environment and just flows with it. That is the best direction.
15. S. (28:39) About the unity evening. It is there a great worry that the physical connection in the evening will blur the inner connection to be attained in the last 2 years.
R. That is why I do not recommend started opening your centers, all have all sorts of connections like we used to have, we advanced from that. We have become more virtual than before that is why we have to be careful of corporeal connections, virtual connections need to fill us. We are entering a virtual realm. That is why I do not think that there is such a connection necessity in the physical connection. But once a month or 3 months, as much as we decide, it all depends on you. We will want to still have an evening of connection and that is worth it. Now we will see it for the first time within 10 days. Then we will see what to do onwards. Obviously, it is according to what you decide and discuss with our management. I do not belong to this, whatever you want to decide with the management of Bnei Baruch together that is what is going to happen and that I will be happy to participate.
16. S. (30:36) What does it mean that the woman doesn't need to become Adam but she needs to become Eve?
R. That is a sneaky question, I feel like I'm in the courtroom that every word can be used against me. There is a big difference between the woman and the man, there is a big difference in the corrections of a man and a woman. We do not need to compare between us, it is two worlds, a woman and a man, that is why the men and women connect separately and do not mix, because immediately we start descending from a spiritual degree to a corporeal degree and there is nothing you can do. Here there has to be a slice, we have to help one group to the other but not to mix
and this is how it's going to be in all of humanity. They cannot be mixed. These two parts, the man and the woman, they need to be separate and connected only through the Creator. Only through the Creator. It is the man and women the Shechina is between them, what does it mean the Divinity, meaning revealing the Creator between. That the Creator is the one connecting between if there's no Creator between the connections cannot exist correctly. That something, we are people with life experience, a good spiritual connection is only through the Creator. We will learn how to do it, to be in one gathering festive, in one evening we can be there together. Together means we're not mixing, this is the man's area and this is the woman's area and I'm for both of you. So I'm waiting for you.
