Reading Shamati 140. How I Love Your Torah - twice

1. R. (01:15) Torah means the upper light that comes down to us from the Creator building the vessels to organize and lead them to the final correction and we come to a state of the correction of the vessels where the whole upper light that entered corrects them and fills them is called Torah.

2. S. (01:50) How can there be that something is greater than perfect?

R. All the discernments are measured by the vessels bigger, smaller, wholeness, deficiency, everything is measured by the vessel. There is nothing absolute for us because we cannot measure anything towards the absolute so the concept of the Creator is come and see. So you can say oh I have merited a revelation of the Creator in my correct vessels the upper force appears and that is called the Creator. So your Creator is this and my Creator is this and his Creator is another thing. So everyone has his own sense of the Creator also within each person it changes from one state to another and there is no thing that is absolute because whatever we talk about it is only with respect to the human, to the person.

S. Perfection is not something that nothing is lacking in it?

R. For now, how do you know what you are going to like in the next moment?

S. So the whole keeps changing?

R. Of course yes but we sometimes talk about the Creator as being whole, that is something different but that's nothing that we attain. We explain that in the final corrections when we are completely finally correct ourselves which is such a state that we yet not understand, we do not attain it, we do understand what it is all about. The Kabbalists write but if we come back to that state that everything is corrected in order to bestow then we will discover in there correct vessels the attitude of the Creator to us through the relationship to the Creator in a perfect way but then again that is with regards to what the Creator created and shattered and corrected and fulfilled and became revealed in. Do you understand, so it's not something that is beyond everything, we always try and each and every discernment to a certain state especially with regards to the states that we have not yet attained.

S. So the light defines perfection in every time and again that is why it's called greater than perfection?

R. Of course how I love your Torah, speak of it every day he said that even though King David was awarded perfection, he still craved at the Torah, meaning the light that comes to the created being even the corrected Adam HaRishon because the Torah is greater and more important than any profession in the world because it comes from the Creator. Wholeness is achieved in the vessels of the created beings, the Torah is attained there afterwards as well so it is all with regards to the person that attains.

3. S. (05:38) He says that he was awarded with perfection so what does he need the Torah for, what is Torah if he has perfection?

R. So he explains to you even though he was awarded perfection and he understands what is perfection is on the behalf of the created beings, he still craves Torah because the Torah is the light, the force that includes everything that comes from the Creator to the created beings and even though the created beings were rewarded with everything and therefore fulfilled, still that attitude of the Creator to them is something that they yearn for, it has no end. The will to receive that yearns to be revealed and to become closer and closer to the Creator, it doesn't disappear because if it disappears everything disappears.

S. So there's something beyond perfect?

R. Beyond perfection is always a longing to discover perfection, because without the inclination on behalf of the created beings nothing will exist.

S. So that is Ein Sof?

R. It is called infinity, that is the language and our perception are very limited.
