Part 1:

Rabash. Article No. 22, (1985). The Whole of the Torah Is One Holy Name

1. S. (27:45) These arguments are going to be throughout our entire path?

R. Yes, and even more so.

S. Because I feel that the deeper we go, the further we go, this is forming my next question, and this is the meaning of revealing tho Torah?

R. Yes, this is how we discover the Torah, we discover the Creator, we discover the whole creation, the connection between the parts of creation.

S. He says each time I'm in a state of ascents, seemingly I’m feeling better. I have to do everything in my power, what does it mean?

R. To recognize the Creator in each and every state where you are rewarded with a new feeling.

2. S. (28:58) This is a follow-up from the last question. He describes the state of ascents and descents and in the end he says, try the opportunity given. What does it mean to try the opportunity we’re given?

R. Try to discover the Creator. That He establishes for you all these opportunities that you feel that you are going through and to keep going.

S. I got an opportunity, I got an ascent, I connected with the friends. What do I have to do to grab the opportunity and not miss it? What does it mean to reveal the Creator?

R. This is what you need to scrutinize; what does it mean to discover the Creator?

S. Is it so whenever a person has an assent he receives an opportunity to reveal the Creator?

R. Yes.

S. Can we open it up a little bit? What does it mean to reveal the Creator?

R. This is the force that establishes for you the whole of reality. If you grasp reality and you somehow understand this is related to the Upper force that He's the one who establishes for you the present thing then you need to try to discover in it the actual force which is the Creator.

S. Meaning in every ascent the person has to try and establish that there's nothing else besides Him, the good that does good, this is the meaning of discovering the Creator?

R. Yes.

3. S. (30:56) He writes at the end, therefore not to be alarmed when the body is showing him black colors but you have to grow stronger above reason and not to hear, keep the body’s advice which tells us about separation from holiness. The body is telling us about separation from holiness.

R. Yes.

S. The body is against the man.

R. You can't say he's for against because, all of my bones shall tell, meaning all the parts of the body that are for against or seemingly they're neutral and each time they change it is all in order to bring you all kinds of changes in your perception.

S. He writes before that if the evil inclination comes to a person and asks him the questions of Pharaoh don’t reject them but tell him now with your questions I can now begin to work of bestowal. The evil inclination, the body, are actually help against him. It's a springboard he can using the force of separation and rejection the more separation he feels the higher he can rise?

R. Yes, of course.

S. That's amazing.

R. Yes, but this is how it is.

S. We have to bless that the evil inclination is revealed.

R. That’s right. This is what is written.

4. S. (32:46) He explains that the reason is to want to show a person that he's a zero in this process and that he has to ask the Creator to help him, but if there's no prayer coming out what do we do?

R. Keep going. Such a prayer emerges that it will already be in the same direction with the revelation of Godliness.

S. Still what vessels a person has to do with it?

R. Everything that a person has, how can he know? He should yearn to discover everything that is inside of him in order to discover the Creator.

S. Is there an action a person can do with his hands his feet that there’s such a time?

R. No, but only in his connection with the friends.

5. S. (34:00) He writes that if the evil inclination comes and asks him all the questions of Pharaoh don't push him back with lame excuses but say that with your questions I can begin the work of bestowal. In the meantime Rabash says don’t get into an argument with the evil inclination. When do we work with the evil inclination when do we avoid entering into an argument with it?

R. To hear the evil inclination doesn't mean that you start arguing with it, it's just hearing it. After you hear it then you can enter an argument or not, that is already a matter of the work of your response.

S. How do you hear the evil inclination and not get drawn into this argument that he's tempting you?

R. It works from all kinds of different sides, from all the different points, and accordingly the person should also do it. The person should relate to everything that he feels, for or against, to try to connect all of these things to nearing to the path, getting closer.

S. He writes, it’s a beautiful text, he writes suddenly he receives an awakening from the Creator and once again a new yearning for spirituality begins to seek from his heart, he begins to work dedicatedly in the force of confidence, work for him as if it’s certainly going to be the work of nearing of the Creator. What does it mean that it seeps through his heart this yearning for spirituality?

R. He feels that in spite of all of the conditions and all of the discernments that he feels, the heart is the place of feeling, he disagrees to remain like that but rather he continues and continues more and more to enter into the depth of the field.

S. What is the precondition for a person to receive this awakening from the Creator? He sees a new liveliness.

R. Apparently he has the conditions to discover this awakening because he has a connection with the friends and he has the work in the group and he has some permanence in a certain situation where he takes part in the common work in the group and this is why what he receives accordingly he receives this drive.

6. S. (37:02) How do we raise foreign thoughts to above reason?

R. Foreign thoughts, we don't need to raise them above reason but rather we rise above them. We don't want to be connected to them, we want to rise above them, and this is how we take care of them.

7. S. (37:36) A person has to recognize that there's none else behind Him that’s behind everything, so what does he discover? That the Creator stands behind friends, that there's nothing besides the Creator, or he discovers the friends as parts of his soul?

R. It's the same thing. Eventually it all comes together into a single system.

S. Where do I bestow to the Creator?

R. In that you want to see all the parts of creation around you that they're all organized so that you will discover the Creator, the full manner.

8. S. (38:27) Foreign thoughts is what, against the goal or those that do not belong to the goal?

R. Foreign thoughts are those that are not precisely related to coming closer to the Creator.

9. S. (39:12) What are the names of the Creator?

R. The names of the Creator are the degrees from which the reforming light comes, the light that corrects and fills, these are called the names of the Creator.

S. Is there a specific difference between them? Is there an order for relation to the names?

R. Yes, certainly.

S. What if one receives letters in a way that he doesn't understand what to do with it?

R. Don't go crazy, take it slowly, and bit by bit it will be refilled to you what it is that you feel.

10. S. (40:20) I also want to continue the scrutiny about the evil inclination that comes to a person. There is one who’s rewarded with using it for an ascent and there are wicked ones who fall in it. I heard as if all these ascents and descents and the falls that they ultimately raise the person to a desired result where only the Creator can help him 100 percent. Is this the entire correction?

R. Yes, however the question is how much does a person participate in all of these corrections.

S. So this engine that is working, where we work and we act and we implement Kabbalist’s advice, we wish to reach the desired results just like in Egypt, I and not a messenger, He’s taking me out of there to reach that recognition?

R. Yes.

S. The sin is that I don’t recognize the fact that only the Creator can do it but I feel like I’m doing something?

R. Yes.

S. What about the environment, the ten, that helps us reach such recognition?

R. They, from all the different directions, are willing to direct you to the Creator.

S. To our request, to a prayer?

R. Yes.

11. S. (42:06) You just said, according to how much a person participates in the correction. What does it mean according to how much he participates in the correction?

R. As much as he’s connected to the environment accordingly he becomes more ready, sharp in his scrutiny of what he receives from the environment, and this is how he responds. Accordingly the force and the pace of his advancement rises.

12. S. (42:55) I wanted to touch on the point the friend brought up, it's a continuation to what you said in the lesson these are your words, in each and every action I have to ask for help from the Creator, in every action.

R. Yes.

S. If there's an action that I don't ask for help from the Creator this is a world of lies. The difference between the world of lies and the world of truth is where I will ask for help from the Creator with each action versus ascribing everything to me and not asking for help, that's the world lies?

R. Yes.

13. S. (43:38) The article is called, “The Entire Torah is One Holy Name”. What is the holy name in the ten, ….. attainment?

R. One holy name means that we attain the vessel of the ten and we bring this vessel to a state where it is filled with light and this is how each time we rise with this vessel and with the light that fills it more and more and more. This is the process that we go through.

S. What do we need to do to receive the holy name?

R. To reveal our vessel and try to bring it to a state where it is filled with light.

14. S. (44:41) We know that's all that's left from us is to ask from the Creator, so why do we prefer corporality over being in a request all day long?

R. Well ask yourself.

S. He's asking further, what can help us ask all day long?

R. That we artificially will start each one to elevate the others to a state where we can advance only through the revelation of the Creator among us.

15. S. (45:21) What is the Torah?

R. The Torah means those lights that come to us and direct us to the revelation of the next degree.

16. S. (45:39) What does it mean that the world was created with the Torah?

R. The Torah is the Upper light that comes from the Creator and we need to build vessels in order to discover this Upper light according to our vessels, to understand it, to feel it, and to connect it back to the light of Ein Sof.

17. S. (46:16) It says in the text Rabbi Yechida said the written Torah is Zeir Anpin and the oral Torah is Malchut, what's the difference between the written Torah and the oral Torah?

R. The written Torah is the Torah itself. The oral Torah is what we discover bit by bit according to our vessels, according to the mouth.

18. S. (47:00) It says here that part of overcoming means that we take a part of the vessels of reception and bring it into the vessels of bestowal and this is like the screen that we have to make over the coarseness. It follows that if one has no will to receive he has nothing on which to place a screen. I'm asking how do we take a part of the vessel of reception and bring it into the vessel of bestowal, what should we do practically?

R. You feel your will to receive and you feel that a part of it, there's a part that you can use in order to bestow. That in the will to receive you make a calculation of your forces, your states, what you wish to reach, which degree, and then it works out that you raise your vessel to such a degree where it can bind with the Upper light and be connected to it mutually, and then this way you raise the vessel with the help of the light and when they're there together in the higher degree this means that you've reached a unification of the Creator with the created being.

19. S. (48:48) We see that there's none else besides Him, He's behind everything, we attribute everything to Him, so what are Zeir Anpin and Malchut that they talk about here?

R. Of course behind everything is only the Creator but as created beings we have to reach a state where we reveal Him and as we reveal Him we approach Him according to certain order and we identify with it, one time for,one time against, more and more and more, until we discover the Creator in ourselves relative to the Creator.

20. S. (49:57) There are disturbances that are in the relations with the friends, meaning let's say all kinds of things that I don't like, things of that kind, and then there are disturbances which are all kinds of nonsense, all kinds of corporeal things that simply carry you away and you do not even think about the friends. What does he relate, talking about here in the article?

R. I don't know, ask something more concrete.

S. He talks about disturbances, disruptions in the connections with the friends or such disruptions that all kinds of such corporeal desires that carry you away and you forget all together?

R. It's both, but in those two types of desires are pulling you away from the path.

S. What does it mean to overcome each one of these desires to overcome and to bring it into bestowal?

R. It means to check each and every desire. How does it aim you, direct you towards the purpose of creation, if not, to what extent you can see it as a helper or disturbance there is sorting and then there's correction.

S. Meaning this way or that way I can find that either I can use it or I can say that it is directing in the opposite way?

R. Yes.

S. In the end he writes that you reach the complete Dvekut/adhesion with the Torah, what is this?

R. Complete adhesion in the Torah means that you're using all the light that reforms called Torah, and with it you reach a state where you completely identify with the Upper light and you build vessels for the reception of this Upper light.

S. Where do I find this Torah so that I can adhere to it, where, this upper light that I can adhere to?

R. To the extent that you yearn for a higher degree, you ask to be adhered to it, to be connected with it, to be in it, and then accordingly you will begin to feel that you are receiving power from it.

S. This longing, how can it be expressed? Is it expressed in a prayer or how?

R. Also with prayer with actions with all kinds of requests, yes.

21. S. (53:15) I heard you say that a person should discover that everything comes from the Creator and this is His correction.

R. Yes.

S.Where in this correction does he become a partner to the Creator? What makes him a partner?

R. With the intention. The Creator gives him disturbances, obstructions and a person uses them to build the next degree so he becomes a partner. A partner doesn't mean that they work exactly together; a partnership means that everyone adds from himself but towards the building of the next mutual degree.

S. Okay, there's something that the created being receives without asking for it?

R. They're also things like that, yes. The Creator awakens him.

22. S. (54:10) He writes, a penny and a penny accumulates to a great amount meaning that all the overcomings join up to a certain extent. So what kind of overcoming is added to the amount? Is it a kind of overcoming or some direction of overcoming or…?

R. Whatever fits that deficiency a person has uncovered, that was revealed to a person previously, now he discovers such forces that allow him to use this deficiency correctly.

S. How does a person check the overcomings that he makes? Is it correct or incorrect, maybe he thinks that he's overcoming but it's not really in the same or the right direction, in other words connection?

R. It's possible. So he learns that this particular overcoming was not exactly right, was not exactly relevant to his degree, and so on and so forth.

S. Also he writes that we should always pay attention during the study of what is his purpose to the study the Torah?

R. It's a general question.

S. How does the feeling of connection influence or change the demand? What is it a person demands from the study?

R. It depends on the demand, the request with which you are coming to the Creator.

S. Maybe his demand during the study is to reach the right demand. How does he depend on the connection in order to reach the right demand as a result of the study that he is now in?

R. That all comes as a result of connection. When he asks for it he prays, he has a demand, a deficiency, meaning he's asking to receive and understand in his deficiency how to correctly participate with the current state.

S. He writes that the order of the ascents is one by one, bit by bit. What does it mean?

R. Gradually, yes.

S. For example he reads forgetfulness and then he only has the energy that he can put into corporeal things or maybe even that he only wants to sleep, so how do we work in such states? A person only wants to sleep and that's it he doesn't want anything else?

R. Only to sleep?

S. Yes.

R. Let him sleep.

S. Until he can no longer continue to sleep?

R. Yes.

S. What is the remedy when he sees that all of his energy goes into corporeal things or maybe it's the opposite? Should he do the same thing just fall into sleep, or…?

R. A person must check himself according or against the purpose of creation of which he is part and then he sees he's advancing accordingly or not, is he approaching the purpose of creation or not, this will show him what to do. I don't understand you.

S. He's describing these states and then he says that you have to overcome, so what is overcoming? Is it in the power of the person to overcome, he feels the state of that state?

R. Yes, of course it's within his hand, that's what a person must do.

23. S. (58:12) What does it mean that a person identifies with the upper light?

R. He understands that the upper light comes to correct him and it builds all kinds of new states and the states of ascent and of course a person sees the state of ascent before him like an obstacle of sorts because an ascent, then he is looking for the forces you can use to take this invitations before him.

S. And what is the identification here sympathizing?

R. The identification is when he sees the invitation from the Creator the upper Force that is inviting him to come closer to connect.

24. S. (59:21) There is the purpose of Creation in the correction of Creation in these two things are in contradiction to each other, so how can we settle between these contradictions in our studies in the spirituality that we learn about?

R. You have to scrutinize exactly when to use one and then the other we cannot, without both of them we cannot advance to the purpose of creation is to scrutinize it should be as a goal before us and the correction of creation is to assemble all of the forces all of the understandings, and to use them in order to advance further toward the purpose of creation.

S. In our study when we study should we seemingly, in fact without these two contradictions we cannot advance so should we scrutinize which one comes first is it the purpose of creation or the correction of creation?

R. No in the beginning we need to scrutinize the purpose of creation since without the goal we are unable to take it even one step forward, and after we determine that the purpose of creation is complete adhesion, then we can scrutinize relative to this adhesion what steps we need to take to come closer to it and this is through the complete correction which is the purpose of creation and then we begin to work.

25. S. (01:01:27) To continue from before that unpleasant states are invitations to approach the Creator. The Creator is inviting you to come closer to him. The question is let's say there are states of fear and certain fear that are revealed, you once gave an example of the state it's like a rabbit sitting scared, if in these states you nevertheless hold on to the Creator you manage to hold on to the Creator and along with that you feel the fear, but you hold on to the Creator this state actually needs to bestow to the Creator?

R. Not yet because your goal is to come out of the anxiety.

S. And the fact that we keep on holding on to the Creator and we keep on holding on despite the fear or anxiety we keep operating this corrects this situation the Creator corrects that state?

R. Yes, then you are rising above the anxiety and cleave to the Creator.

S. And then he corrects that state that you seemingly…?

R. You corrected him, since all the way through the anxiety you are more adhered to the Creator.

S. What does it mean to rise above the anxiety? How do you rise above the anxiety, anxiety is a feeling?

R. Anxiety is the feeling and it changes according to how much adhesion you have with the Creator.

S. But how can you jump from the state where you feel this feeling of anxiety to a state where you are in adhesion this emotion it floods you?

R. That you have nothing more than this feeling.

S. Otherwise it's not anxiety what does anxiety need?

R. Will nevertheless you have lights in addition to the inner lights that fill you and bring you to the stressful situation you have other lights that are surrounding, ones that come and go and you can also draw them and that's what this thing is all about you are building your own future, the important thing is what you decide during those critical times.

26. S. (01:03:57) Rabash writes overcoming means it you take a part of the vessel of reception and add it to the vessel of bestowal. What is the difference between overcoming and correction? I thought what Rabash describes here is actually a correction.

R. Yes that's a correction.

S. So correction and overcoming is the same thing?

R. Yes, it’s all corrections.

27. S. (01:04:30) He writes in the article that we have to reach a feeling that 100% one cannot do anything otherwise we do not get help from above. How do we reach such a feeling that 100% you cannot do anything?

R. Through experience, a person tries, and tries, and tries, and he sees that unless he receives help from above he will not succeed.

S. And we should pray to reach such a feeling?

R. Yes, beg even.

28. S. (01:05:10) What can I do so that my friends will receive mouth from mouth from you?

R. You should pray, well for me I don't think that's the right way of saying it, but let's say from me we should all be connected in one mouth and have a good strong prayer.

S. You're so great there's a connection you have a connection with the central of creation I look at my friends they're sitting opposite you from a number of years already they wanted to do good with everything that you receive from Rabash, please you have infinite Mercy, why don't they receive from you right now please you're so great, you know what is best for us, please thank you.

R. I am giving you maximum as much as I am capable of giving, not to corrupt you, anyone who agrees with it remains here and continues and there's a difference between what we learn six months ago and now more than that I cannot open, it will be unhealthy everything has to be according to the vessels, why are we advancing it at such a pace, Baal HaSulam also thought about it and wrote about it he couldn't do more than he did, and who am I compared to him, but to some extent I can feel how much he suffered, but was not able to open himself up more, and the fact that we're sitting here and time passes and we cannot reach the purpose. I don't know all of the Creators plans but that's what is happening for the time being, more than the last 13 years I was next to Rabash and that is what I learned. What can I do that's what I got, that's what I'm willing to give all the way, everything I've got but not more than that.

S. For myself I need patience just continue and praying and asking and asking for the friends. But I need patience with respect to the friends? I wanted them to receive right now.

R. Yes.

S. So without patience for myself but for the friends?

R. You can take it to the Creator and ask, demand and cry forcefully that the Creator will take greater care of the friends, you can do that.

29. S. (01:09:22) You talked about coming back to the purpose of creation all the time, can we bring this to become a habit and is this a correct habit?

R. We need to connect everyone together and combine all of our prayers into one, and in this one prayer, try to realize all of our demands from the bottom of our hearts.

S. Almost like the friend asked so when I do something I need to remember about the purpose of creation, what am I doing it for and also what am I doing in corporality from when I come to the lesson I keep awakening it inside of me. Can I reach a state where I will have it permanently, that I will not forget about it it will be as a habit?

R. I don't think you should make it into a habit, you should make it each time feel like new work.

S. Yes because it brings up questions why and what for the questions of Pharaoh immediately have a point of choice, it's not like some religion or religious thing, it is work.

R. So what is the question?

S. Is it possible and the second thing is that you realize that each time you have those questions of Pharaoh and you have to cope with them somehow?

R. From the Creator is this Pharaoh that brings it to your mind to your intellect and demands you to ask yourself and everyone. There's nothing that you can do about it, only to keep going, simply continue more meticulously.

30. S. (01:12:02) It says that the purpose of creation is to do good to his creations, now you talked with the friends that the purpose is adhesion with the Creator?

R. It's the same. When you attain the purpose of creation to do good to his created beings through the action of adhesion with the Creator.

S. How inside of the group do I measure the adhesion with the Creator?

R. For the time being you cannot measure it, you need to yearn for all the time.

S. Because I feel that we are advancing we go through many states the vessel expands we broke the walls so really it's like a family, but I don't grasp the Creator and I do not understand more and I don't feel more and seemingly I go through my states but it's hard for me to say what is it that I'm going through and what is the Creator taking me through what are we doing in such a state?

R. Nothing you continue the way that it was, this is tough It's many years that people ask the Creator.

31. S. (01:13:06) On the same topic Rabash as describing a state that a person can be in for many years, maybe throughout the way he's got these importances and then he gets disturbances and moves away so it made it less important things become important again and then he goes into corporeality and then it goes like a loop and then you constantly go around the same point.

R. We heard that so next.

S. So the question is where is the exit point from this loop?

R. When you decide together.

S. But to decide together for example a ten, you have to sit together and understand that we are at this point?

R. I don't know to sit together, to decide, to understand.

S. If not all the friends agree we are at this point can we decide on it?

R. You have to try to speak about it between you then see if that you're really there are not.

S. But not together it doesn't work? You have to turn to sides and not everyone?

R. No, it has to be a whole vessel.

32. S. (01:15:30) Concerning sympathizing with the purpose of creation, do we sympathize with the purpose of creation to do good to his creations and then the question is basically we justify the thought of creation the intention of creation and from this extends that we justify the actions themselves meaning to directly justify the act itself, that sounds almost impossible.

R. It sounds very egoistic.

S. To justify the action?

R. Yes the plan of creation is to do good to created beings is that not good, it's very good, so what's the problem, for that we need to be together and that's what we keep forgetting, everyone separately yes, they're saying where's the Creator where's what I deserve.

S. I mean to do good not in a corporeal way, but there's an intention to do good here and then the actions themselves I can't always accept them, but if intention is good then how do you measure it's a question, in other words can we justify and act without justifying the intention?

R. No.

S. So it's a package deal you cannot say he's doing good to me when it's actually a lie, I feel my body that he's not doing good to me, it's only if we connect to this intention that perhaps we cannot attain it individually but only together only then can we justify it's not superficial right?

R. Right.

33. S. (01:17:36) We answered the friends before that you have to ask the Creator to take care of the friends more, is this a general request or a specifically what I want him to do more for the friends?

R. No, he has to take care of the friends. A person wants to be taken care of so here we have to see as much as we pray the Creator takes care of the friends.

S. Isn't it kind of criticizing the Creator you're not taking care of the friends enough?

R. Okay so what.

S. Maybe the problem is with me, that I don't see that he's taken care of the friends correctly.

R. Did we reach the Gmar Tikkun yet, are we on the way yes, then it depends on the help of the Creator. Then we have to ask him.

S. So basically it's a constant request that we need to keep awakening?

R. Yes, yes, yes.

34. S. (01:18:52) Yesterday in the noon lesson, you spoke from the heart about how to feel the friend and to imagine the Creator with him and to rise to the degree of the Creator with him. Such descriptions, and we worked on it in the tens meeting and in the summary, and it's really illuminated my whole lesson these directions from the noon lesson. What happens at the noon lesson and what is it's importance in our study, sometimes because of corporeal needs I cannot connect during the day.

R. I think that you can find time to participate in the noon lesson maybe not at the same time but you can still listen to it. The noon lesson is, it's easier than the morning lesson of course, because the women are there and people who can participate in the morning are not able to and so on that's why, that's the way it is. I invest in it as much as possible.

S. There's a feeling that you open yourself differently at the noon lesson.

R. Well there's even more half women than there is men and then from the ones that are there there are a lot that do not participate in the morning lesson and then sometimes they come randomly yes no, so obviously there's a different approach on my behalf too for that lesson.

35. S. (01:21:07) What does it mean to agree with the path, agree with you, and agree with the Creator?

R. That you take upon yourself all the conditions in order to reach the end of the path to the goal.

36. S. (01:21:34) Sometimes in the ten we feel is one with the friends and then there's only one force that speaks through different personalities is that the state called revealing the Creator?

R. I don't understand.

S. Sometimes in the ten we feel as one with the friends and that there's only one force that speaks through different personalities, is that revealing the Creator?

R. No, not yet, to reveal that is the next stage, but when we feel that we are activated by one upper force, that's already a state that comes before revelation the Creator.

37. S. (01:22:58) What should happen in each one in all of us together so we can come to a common request from one heart?

R. Connect your hearts into one and direct them to one Creator.

S. Should we search in the friend for something that will help this common deficiency?

R. Yes, yes, that it will help us overcome the shattering.

38. S. (01:23:44) When we agree and we each check ourselves. Where should I be looking, because when I check myself I am kind of looking at myself, but I need to look at our common place. Where should be my gaze, and how do I prepare this place?

R. You have to look at the connection between you and then it will be exactly in the center between you.

39. S. (01:24:23) As being discussed already overcoming means taking part of the vessel of reception, and adding it to the vessels of bestowal. Shouldn't overcoming be actually be the other way around vessels of bestowal should be added to the vessels of reception?

R. What's the difference between adding one to the other that one to that one?

S. It says in the text overcoming means taking part of the vessel of reception and adding it to the vessels of bestowal, and my question is should it be the other way around that the vessels of bestowal should be added to the vessels of reception?

R. No no, as much as we are able to measure a slice of the vessel of reception and add it into the vessel of bestowal, that will help us ascend more in the vessels of bestowal and that's how we need to do it, another bit to add from our coarseness to the vessel of bestowal and another bit and another bit and that's how we rise until the Gmar Tikkun.

40. S. (01:26:17) How to cut the coarseness from the vessel of reception and add it to the vessel of bestowal?

R. As much as we can overcome the vessels of reception on that part we have to slice it off and add them into the vessels of bestowal.

S. Some desire is revealed it says in the article that you have to admit into Holiness some of the vessels of reception, how do I analyze that this is precisely the part that I can add?

R. You feel in what part you can annul and use it in order to bestow and that part you add it into the vessels of bestowal.

S. If I look and see what I don't use it in order to bestow I canceled it?

R. Of course you do, it's your vessels of bestowal and now that you want to use them as if their vessels of bestowal. Vessels of reception that you want to use as vessels of bestowal, you relinquish those vessels to use them as vessels of reception, but now you raise them and then you add them into the vessels of bestowal and then it turns out that you can use them in receiving in order to bestow.

S. The first part of this is clear: you relinquish something that is revealed in reception, how do I elevate it and join it and add it?

R. You want to use them as if they are vessels of bestowal, meaning you receive in them the pleasure but this pleasure you want to taste it and feel it that it will be a tendency to bestow. A tendency to bestow that at first you taste it, a cake, something very good, now you want to taste it not for yourself but in order to give this taste to the landlord, to the Creator. What's not clear here?

S. How to give this taste to the Creator? This taste is my feeling?

R. You make a restriction in yourself that you don't enjoy, and afterward, when you can distance yourself from it you start receiving in order to bestow.

S. No translation.

R. Of course you need to, at home wherever you are, try and imagine the state, and take it from these vessels to those vessels.

S. But for this we need to have the other kind of vessels, so we can put something in there too

R. You start trying and then you will see.

41. S. (01:30:51) Is it simply a decision?

R. It's a decision that you already feel inside which actions you need to do in order to implement it.

S. I should just decide to wait to pray and simply decide not to touch the cake and that's it?

R. No, not to touch the cake, you don't touch it let's say you take a break, and then you decide that you want to taste it only that by this you can bestow to the host to the landlord.

S. Will I have a change of taste if I succeed?

R. Of course you might not have a change at all or there might be something new in it.

42. S. (01:31:54) What do I do if I enjoy the lesson should I restrict that too?

R. It depends from what, you have to enjoy the Torah.

43. S. (01:32:12) These attempts often feel like flattery?

R. Why?

S. It's how it feels, like you want not to feel the flavor it's like you restrict it and you do things inside, but really you do feel it, I can't really, but that disconnection, how can we overcome?

R. Ask for help, ask that the Creator will, and he'll help you.

44. S. (01:33:00) It's not clear, the test that I'm not getting the flavors that the right test?

R. Yes, that's the right test, try and taste something, I take a piece of cake, that my friend brought me, and I see according to his face that he's ready and he's willing to give me cake so I'll choke, and I take that piece and I taste it, and I feel something else from what I felt before. What's the wonder here? I remember I told that to Rabash, that I don't feel that I don't know what it was there and I don't feel a taste and then he started treating me differently, because it's already a sign, that from this moment onward a person starts scrutinizing correctly.

45. S. (01:34:45) The ability to make the restriction, are there conditions for it? Is there a prerequisite for me to be able to perform the restriction?

R. Everything that is tasty for you on the animate degree try and restrict it from the speaking degree from a higher degree, from a higher degree it's not so difficult.

46. S. (01:35:25) Why do I need to restrict it if it's tasty?

R. No, not that you can restrict it, you can restrict anything. In order to check whether after this can you keep going in order to bestow. You restrict your will to receive in order to receive. That your corporeal desires that are in the animate degree you activate them and feel taste in them, but if you now want to activate your desires on the speaking level, on the level of man, Adam so you can restrict yourself.

S. What for?

R. That's a question, but if there will be a reason for what so you will be able to do it.

S. What do I want to do?

R. You want to reach a state now that from that piece of cake you will not feel any flavors.

S. Why?

R. Let's say that that piece of cake came to you from your hater.

S. Right, and if it comes not from an enemy, but from a friend. Who gives me a cake here with love what do I do with the cake?

R. You want to taste the cake under the condition that you're thinking of him, that you're giving back to him the pleasure that you're going to feel from the cake. You want it all to go to him from zero you're giving it all to him. We have to do such exercises, I don't think we'll talk about it.

47. S. (01:37:42) Is the restriction when I don't touch the corporeal desires or I do touch, but I don't feel their flavor?

R. It's the same thing. What does it matter whether you touch it and don't feel taste so it shows you that you're under restriction.

S. If we gradually begin to feel resistance even toward simple desires, that I used to enjoy now I feel resistance, so isn't it the Creator giving me a place for new consideration and calculation?

R. It could be.

48. S. (01:38:44) What do we feel when the Creator is revealed?

R. We feel that the center of our life is revealed that our feelings, our discernments, and our decisions, that's what comes to us with the revelation of the Creator.

49. S. (01:39:45) The feeling of flavor pushes me away from feeling the friend right?

R. Yes.

S. And if I feel love for the giver, doesn't improve the taste?

R. Yes.

S. So I can feel both the giver and the flavor?

R. Yes.

50. S. (01:40:10) The concept of Torah, there is the text in the Torah that many people study they don't even know what it is, and there's Torah?

R. The upper light.

S. The efforts to draw the reforming light which you said this is the Torah, so for me the Torah sometimes it's the Zohar sometimes it's the text of Baal HaSulam or Rabash, your lessons. Is there a phase when a person should return to the text or can we advance all the way without studying the original text?

R. The text isn't the Torah, the Torah is the light that reforms when we get the light from above like a force and it rises us, raises us above our ego, that's the Torah, the force of the Torah.

S. And if we don’t feel the light in the original text, can we put the original text aside?

R. I don't ascribe this to any text.

S. I understand but, I'm looking with all the efforts I make, I'm looking for an intention in the sources that I read?

R. I don't know what to tell you.

51. S. (01:42:10) What's the meaning of the sentence he brings at the end, that the Church of Israel left the Creator and he sold them into the hands of Esau?

R. We aren't learning text now.

52. S. (01:43:06) It says here we will make man in the plural form. It is as if the Torah and the Creator are different parts; they are the plural that many that make man?

R. What does he want?

S. Who created man, why does it say we will make man in plural form?

R. Many different forces participate in creating man.

S. So what are these forces that created the Torah?

R. It is the forces of nature that gathered together and create man.

S. What forces?

R. Forces of nature.

53. S. (01:44:08) What prayer can bring the light of the Creator to our vessels and how can I ask it for the friends?

R. Every plea to the Creator if it comes out of the heart, and if it is for the collective of people it invites the light from above that bestows upon everybody.

54. S. (01:44:46) Is it true that the correction of the path is the way and the purpose of creation is the purpose?

R. Yes exactly.

55. S. (01:45:26) It is written that faith should be that you will feel each day that he is standing before the king, the exercise that you gave us, how can it bring us closer to it? I don't feel the deficiency, the necessity to be in that state of being as before the King's throne all day?

R. Yes, so what is the question?

S. How does the exercise you gave us, how can it help us develop a deficiency for complete faith?

R. Let us hope that by such exercises that Kabbalists gave us will advance toward the right realization and then discover the Creator in the center of creation and ourselves and adhering to him.

56. S. (01:46:57) The Creator created the world with Torah. However, I feel the world as injust and I wonder why the Creator always threw me in this place that I feel injustice. How do I consciously walk with a Creator to turn injustice to justice? I want to understand how to work consciously with a Creator to reach this sublime state of the Torah, because I feel that something I'm experiencing all the time which makes me ask the question; why do I have to be in this experience of this constant Injustice and what am I supposed to do to change it?

R. In order to change this injustice to a world that is all justice where the Creator can appear and that will be a miracle. For you to know as much as how in our world that everything is completely opposite and it is so evil and so unjust you cannot say that there is any drop of justice in it of a correct nice attitude anything as much as we will all feel that it was all a lie what we used to see and now it all changes to true and good. That is what we need to get to. That is it.

S. Trying to say thank you for this wonderful society, because when I feel the state of injustice I come silently and just sense justice in this society, so I just want to say thank you because without the society I think I would have been totally lost.

R. She's a priest.

57. S. (01:49:44) In the lesson at the Oral Torah is attained according to the person’s vessel. How can we come to the oral Torah? What should we do in order to come to it?

R. We need to discover the Creator and all of creation that it will fill our vessels and then we will feel how it comes out of us from inside that we will be like musical instruments and from us all the notes, all the words, and all my bones will testify for it and in this way we can discover the Creator that is in us and that he is singing to us from inside of us, we have to open ourselves that it will happen in that way.

58. S. (01:50:58) The example with the cake and everything we received can we say that the side of the test that I really want to receive in order to bestow is my willingness to concede to the pleasure if I understand I have no intention to bestow, and if on the other hand I have to receive something for the family for example?

R. You have to do it because it is necessary for your survival.

S. Even if it gives me pleasure?

R. Yes, to some extent, yes.

59. S. (01:51:48) How do I do in a world where I have to give and I have to be in relationship of giving to the friends, but I discover all the time that I am in the desire to receive and I am distant from the desire to bestow, how do I do it?

R. Keep going, strengthen yourself with your friends and learn from them.

60. S. (01:52:47) I really need your help. How do I use the power of descent in order to come to a prayer that has the same force as a descent itself? I cannot even begin the prayer because the prayer has to start from gratitude and I have no gratitude, only anger?

R. Being angry with the Creator complain to him. We could not relate to the Creator differently come to him with complaints and that will be very good, it will be very good. The place of the ten is to act on you even if not in a good direction as it seems to you right now that too is help from it so just act.

61. S. (01:54:08) We learn that creation is under the first restriction anyway and cannot receive for itself, so what else do we need to restrict?

R. Nothing you do not need to restrict anything. You need to receive the revelation of the Creator so he will correct you.

S. But the whole lesson we are speaking about that we have to restrict ourselves, relinquish and overcome, we are under that law?

R. Listen to the lesson again and then you will see.

62. S. (01:54:50) When the ten is in a state of bestowal does the name of the Creator reveal there?

R. Yes.
