Part 2:

Baal HaSulam. The Peace (Fifth Method: Left His Operation)

1. R. (00:13) I just want to remind first what is written. The Peace article is empirical scientific research about the necessity of the work of the Creator. Meaning He wants to bring a person as close as possible to the spiritual creation, to spirituality, to the providence of the Creator, to all that we do not perceive in our senses but must achieve.

2. R. (03:54) This is basically what he wants to pose as a question mark to us. We want the world to change. We think that it can change for the better by us getting in there and making all kinds of changes, actions, correcting the world and so forth. We want to do that by all sorts of religions and belief systems. it does not matter. It does not matter what means we try but nothing can change except by changing the human himself, even if he does not do any external changes outside of him, only inside the person. The human, which is the source of all the required changes, which is where it lies, and if we start taking care of ourselves, by that we will change the world. Because we have tried everything, from left to right and the other way around, up, and down and so on. We have tried to do everything with this world but today we are giving up. We are coming to a point where there is nothing we can do, there is no more means for us to even think, to even think that we can change the world for the better. We are just dragging along, living tomorrow the way we lived yesterday. That is what we got. We did not choose to be born and to live the way we live and so on. That is sort of the way humanity lives today. You see what is happening today in the 21st century between the superpowers, the countries, the people, the organizations, the institutions, all of it. The world is such a mess, that this really is humanity that has the mind, the sensitivity, the historical experience, and development. The problem is that we are trying to change something on the outside, outside of us and Baal HaSulam wants to show us here that all the changes have to happen within us.

3. R. (16:18) Meaning here in a relatively brief manner he gave us his observation on society. That there is no choice, there is only one thing that is mandatory by nature: that we have to connect, unite and be in connections of mutual reception and bestowal, each one towards the others in a way that we are just like a single body. That if we observe the commandant of the providence then we have to see ourselves that even though we can escape all of this commitment, if we recognize the law of nature then we have to follow it in relation to society in any way possible, both in receiving and in giving.

4. S. (17:38) What gives us knowing that purposefulness that He divides between God and nature?

R. He says that there is no difference. You want to call it God, call it God. You want to call it nature, call it nature. In any case it is something that is upper towards you, it governs you, it gives birth to you, and it develops you. Whether you want it or not you are the result of it, so just accept that. It does not matter whether it is God or nature.

S. Yes but he discerns to them the motive is purposeful and means...

R. That's what people think for now. We see that we are in the system of nature and that He is the upper one of us, gives birth to us and manages us whether in a good way or a bad way towards us. Meaning it is like parents towards their little child. He does not want to listen, so they are going to force him. If he wants to listen so on the contrary, they will spoil him. Just let him develop correctly, and same with us. We are in the system of nature and there is no difference here that we can add something.

S. I see that in your explanation you are meticulous in bringing in the purpose of nature, the goal of it.

R. Because we want to advance to that purpose, we want to advance in our own forces, we want to add to the development of nature also our own desire. That is the whole point. That is why we are studying and not just being drawn like the still, vegetative, and animate, like the rest of humanity that is on the animate degree, we want to be on the speaking. That is what hastens the correction, speeds up the correction of creation. That is what we want and that is why we are studying and trying between us to perform all kinds of corrections, and if we do not do it, we will also reach corrections but by an attitude from nature called at its own pace and its own time. Meaning whenever nature plays out according to its own engine and brings us forces that will develop that are not so pleasant anymore, as we see in all of reality. Why are they not pleasant? Because then the forces of judgment awaken the general big will to receive in nature and starts pushing on us and doing all kinds of actions that are not so desired in our eyes. they are not pleasant.

Humanity now is before a choice in which way to keep developing, whether through the path of Torah, meaning the good path through the light or through suffering and we are right in the seam between them. What should we do with ourselves? That is why we have to publish and advertise the wisdom of Kabbalah and explain to everyone as much as we can, and in our life, in our evolution distill out of our mind the good force, then we can advance through the path of the light as we say, the path of the Torah and not by suffering.

S. My question is how do we add the explanation and make it rational that there is a purpose in nature?

R. If we put ourselves above nature then obviously, we think that nature has no purpose, and we think we know it. If we look at our history, only our history without all kinds of theories, wisdoms, Kabbalah, or anything we can see that we are existing and advancing according to some program that is developing us. Developing us each time by bringing us into some bad state where we really suffer, and then helps us come out of this bad and take a step ahead. In that step ahead we are supposedly always given an opportunity to take the right path, the good path, but we do not want it because our ego will not let us do it, and then again, we enter the bad. Then we suffer in it again, and that keeps repeating itself. Now the question is what should we do? So that is why people were given a method that knows in advance from the outside where a person exists, why he exists in such a way. Is the most important where his choice is? What can he do with his life, with his development? That is actually the good result of the wisdom of Kabbalah, when we start opening our eyes in the system, we are in and what we should do with ourselves.

S. Why does the fact that we put ourselves above nature hides the purpose from us?

R. Because you do not need nature anymore, you do not need its purpose either. You already feel that you are above that according to your own brain. So why does a person develop or why does he do anything? In order to reach some thought. Ask an American or Russian, everyone, all philosophies. Each one will tell you something else.

S. How can you overcome this concealment that sits on the person with his ego that hides the purpose?

R. To overcome concealment, which is what the wisdom of Kabbalah gives you. It explains what the goal is, what the purpose is and how you can advance to that purpose. In each and every step it gives you the opportunity to manage the laws of nature that are working on you. That you will manage them with your group, by building a mini system and with that system you can activate the bigger system, do you understand? Instead of taking all of nature that is entirely one big sphere called the soul of the Adam, Adam HaRishon, instead of that you can get a little group and by the forces that you work between you in the group you can activate all of reality. Just see that it is in your hands and that you want to use it correctly. If you can use it correctly that same system of the ten that you have, you are working and influencing the whole system. As more forces accumulate, meaning more people into your system of the ten, so more and more you will be able to affect all of reality and manage our destiny; and not that you will be under destiny.

S. I am asking from what stage is it possible to give a feeling to a person that there is a purpose? In summary that is what I am asking.

R. There is no such thing, it is given to you right away that there is a purpose.

S. How?

R. By explaining it.

S. The ego hides it?

R. You can bring him the purpose of his feeling, of his attainment in mind and heart? You cannot do that. You can only explain it, detect it somehow that all these things have a purpose. We see this process going on for thousands of years and we understand that we also advance according to a certain plan of nature. So, let us know the plan of nature.

5. S. (28:14) Following what you have just said, he says here that the goal is undoubtedly built on all the laws of nature, one is not absent.

R. Well?

S. That nothing can be disregarded towards the goal, what is he saying here? That I have to justify everything, that is what he is talking about?

R. Of course.

S. Why do I need to justify all these troubles?

R. Because you are activating all these forces.

S. I activate them?

R. Of course, you have two possibilities to either do good or bad; and by these forms, the nature behaves towards you, they want to teach you what is the better way. First, you are given half the power to understand that it is worth it to relate to everything in a good way, that you will feel good. So, relate in a good way to everyone else. Now afterwards, you are told there is even a bigger good that you do good for others, then there is good which is above you, that you are already disconnected from your desire, and you do it for the benefit of the in a disconnected manner from you.

S. Is there really an option that we can essentially change reality and see the reality better than we see in our eyes, which is what you are saying?

R. Of course, you are changing the reality, you feel the desire. Everything you feel now is in your desire, otherwise you would not see or hear anything. In all the five senses where you grasp reality so manage those senses, please. By this you are building a new reality, building the worlds.

S. Can I can change reality specifically by studying the wisdom of Kabbalah to make the reality of self-better towards us?

R. Of course, for what did you get these things? To be a partner of the Creator.

S. What does it mean to make our reality better?

R. A better reality that you are developing until you reach a state that you develop and feel that to bestow to everybody is the best, best thing, the most exalted thing and then you reach it, and you do it. By this you become an equivalence of form with the Creator, you discover Him that He also bestows to everybody and by this you discover your adhesion with the Creator.

S. Basically, what is the shortest path to do what you are saying now?

R. The shortest path is in the ten.

S. To annul everything that we learn?

R. Yes. That is how it is all in faith above reason.

6. S. (32:03) What is every friend obligated to receive from society and why does Baal HaSulam write “reception and bestow are equal in importance?”

R. If we want to think or we think of bestowing to something so for us the force of reception and the force of bestowal are equal forces that limit one another, and by both of them we can bestow.

7. S. (32:34) Following laws of bestowal in Kabbalah are we talking about necessities or beyond that?

R. No, not corporeal, spiritual, it does not matter, there is no difference. I am taking into account what is good for the others and whether I receive or bestow is not important, the main thing is the benefit of the others that is what is managing me.

8. S. (33:15) How changing myself influences the world? How does it happen? Changing myself, how does that happen?

R. Because I am one of the components of all the desires that are in Adam HaRishon, in that system. If I change myself from reception to bestowal so by that I become the connector of all the system of Adam HaRishon to the Creator because I resemble the Creator in something and then through me the upper light, the force of the Creator clothes all of the soul of Adam HaRishon. Then I become Adam that resembles the Creator, that helps Him, that works with Him, His partner.

9. S. (34:25) You said everything only for the benefit of others so how do you know exactly what is the benefit of others?

R. For the benefit of others: that I bring him the force of bestowal and he knows how to use it because I am incorporated in the ten.

10. S. (34:48) If humanity does not know about the law of bestowal, how can we implement it?

R. It is not the punishment, it is the gradually to teach them that the actions that we're doing are wrong; and humanity does not understand it and they're running away from it and we have to explain that what we receive all kinds of problems, disappointments, something that is not according to our desire, they are punishments in order to teach us how to really advance correctly. According to the laws of the Torah, if I want to take out of my pocket, let us say a dollar and I put my hand in the pocket and I take out and I see it was two dollars, which is already suffering. Meaning suffering is not for the good, suffering is what does not go according to my will. Even towards good, supposedly, but that is still considered as suffering. So, if humanity will understand that they are constantly in suffering so it will be easy to advance towards the correction.

11. S. (36:33) So how can we help humanity hear that the goal of creation is bestowing to our fellow men? How does connection in the ten influence this?

R. We have read it, we studied about it, I do not know what to add. Coming closer between us is the only action, the correct action, to bring ourselves closer to the Creator, to fill ourselves with the upper light, to bring all of humanity and draw all of humanity after us to Gmar Tikkun.

WSQ: (37:50) How can we organize our society of Bnei Baruch in such a way that we can really implement the forces of bestowal, reception the upper light bestowing into society receiving from society all these things in a way that we will be able to easily and quickly to reach our implementation what are we still lacking to do? After every ten understands what they want, what they think by what can we perform a jump ahead? Write it down and afterwards we will read it. Then afterwards we will read it.

13. R. (41:36) How can we speed up our development? The world is supposedly demanding it, that we will be as a group that can explain to the whole world what its purpose is, what its role is. How can we advance towards it, how can we do it? What should we do with Bnei Baruch in order to better to such an extent that it will be a group that leads the world towards correction? Otherwise, as Baal HaSulam says, “we can fall into a world war,” and we see there are already signs of it.

I think that we understand the states we are in, the ball is in our hands, and we really need to scrutinize on each and every action we are doing, as much as with will be more aimed towards the goal, and the goal is our general connection and around us, all of humanity. There was no other choice, the world cascades into a state that is going to obligate us to do it, so let us reach it ourselves, the necessity to connect, before nature forces us through the path of suffering, and except for that reach it through the path of light.
