50. The eyes of the Rosh of holy Atik, the two eyes are tantamount to one. They always watch and never sleep, as it is written, “He who watches over Israel Shall neither slumber nor sleep.” This is why holy Israel, ZA, has no eyebrows and no cover over the eyes.
Galgalta and Panim [face/anterior] are [final] Mem-Lamed-Tzadi of Tzelem. Galgalta is Mem, the Panim is Lamed, and they are incorporated in each other, and each of them consists of Lamed-Tzadi. There are Meletz [Mem-Lamed-Tzadi] of Mem, of Lamed, and of Tzadi.
You find that although the Panim are Lamed of Tzelem, it has Meletz in it, where the two ears and the forehead are Mem of Lamed, and they are GAR, and the two eyes and the nose are Lamed of Lamed. However, since the Hochma is not revealed in the Mem of Lamed, which is GAR of the Panim, but rather in the Lamed, which are HGT, the eyes are regarded as VAK of Hochma, as HG, and the Hotem [nose] as Tifferet.
It is known that all the judgments grip to the light of Hochma, and all the passion of the shells and the Sitra Achra is to suckle from it. Hence, they need guarding from the Sitra Achra so they do not suckle from them. That guarding is the cover over the eye. During the control of the left without right, the cover covers and conceals the light of Hochma on the left, which is the eyes.
Because of the power of guarding, judgments appear during the illumination of Hochma, which punish anyone who touches them. These Se’arot in the eyebrows are the judgments to chase the Sitra Achra away. However, all this takes place in the Einayim [eyes] of ZA, where there is illumination of Hochma on the left. Conversely, in the Einayim of AA, where there is only the control of Hassadim, because there is no grip to the Sitra Achra in Hassadim, its eyes do not need guarding, meaning the cover over the eyes, and there is no need for the hair in the eyebrows.
The eyes of the Rosh of holy Atik, AA, the two eyes are tantamount to one. This is so because in ZA, the right eye is Hesed, and the left eye is illumination of Hochma. Therefore, they are two. Conversely, in AA, where there is control of Hassadim, there is no difference between the right eye and the left one, to be discerned as two, and they are as one eye since the Hochma in the left eye is incorporated in the Hesed in the right eye, and there is only the light of Hassadim there.
They are always watchful and never sleep, since in ZA, when the illumination of Hochma on the left controls without right, the Mochin depart from it and it is in slumber. Conversely, in the eyes of AA, it will never happen that the left will control without right. This is why it does not have eyebrows and no cover over the eyes, since when Hassadim are in control, the Sitra Achra has no grip and they do not need to guard them from them.
51. The Moach, HS of AA, is carved in Katnut, and shines in Gadlut in three kinds of white in the eye, three kinds of Hesed in the three lines in the eye. In one white in them, the eyes of ZA bathe in milk, in Hesed. This is from the first eye in the three kinds of white in the eyes of AA, the right line. The rest of the kinds of white bathe and shine in the rest of the candles, the rest of the degrees.
52. The Moach, HS, is called the “spring of blessings,” the spring from which all the blessings emerge. Since that Moach blazes in the three kinds of white in the eye, the blessing depends on the eye, as it is written, “Whoever has a good eye will be blessed,” since the white in the eye depends on the Moach. When that eye watches over ZA, everyone shines with joy. Although this eye has three lines in it, it is nevertheless all right. However, the eyes below, of ZA, are right and left, two, in two states, where the right is Hesed and the left is Gevura, in illumination of Hochma.
53. There is an upper Yod, a lower Yod, an upper Hey, a lower Hey, an upper Vav, and a lower Vav. All the upper ones are dependent on Atik, and the lower ones on ZA. They are not dependent on it, but are actually in it, since ZA is called HaVaYaH, and the letters are in it. In holy Atik, they are only dependent, for the roots of the four letters HaVaYaH are in it, and not the actual letters HaVaYaH. The name of Atik is covered from everything and is unattainable, but the letters HaVaYaH are dependent on Atik in order to sustain the letters below. Otherwise, the ones below would not exist.
54. For this reason, the holy name is concealed and revealed. The concealed one corresponds to holy Atik, which is concealed from all, and the revealed one is in ZA. Therefore, all the blessings must be in concealment and in disclosure. They must be in second person, such as “Blessed are You.” Also, they must be in a concealed language, “Who sanctified us and commanded us,” which is concealed, corresponding to those hidden letters dependent on holy Atik. And revealed, corresponding to the letters in ZA.
