49. That hidden Rosh in the Rosh of Atik, which is not known, the first Rosh, when it expanded one control that is established to shine, it clashed the HS of AA with it and was engraved, meaning diminished into Katnut. Afterwards, it also received the Gadlut through the same control and shone in Hassadim and in Hochma, and HS took out its illumination and registered it like that decision in that Metzah. At that time, a light called Ratzon [desire] was registered in the Metzah.
That Ratzon expanded downward in the thirteen corrections of the Dikna of AA down to the place where it settled in Dikna, called upper Hesed. This is the correction called Notzer Hesed [treasuring Hesed], the eighth correction of the thirteen corrections of Dikna. When that Ratzon is revealed through that correction, Notzer Hesed, accusers look and surrender.
RADLA raises Malchut to Bina of AA and diminishes it from GAR in order to sweeten the Malchut in Bina at the point of the key, so that by this, Malchut will be able to receive Hochma at the time of Gadlut. When that hidden Rosh that is unknown expanded one control, meaning raised Malchut to Bina, by this, the Rosh of AA becomes diminished from Hochma and comes to Hassadim. One control that is established to shine, RADLA established this control of Katnut in order to later shine the Gadlut and for ZON to be fit for Mochin. For this reason, through this control that it established, it clashed with HS of AA through it and was carved. That is, it diminished it and carved it, since diminution is called carving [or engraving].
However, through this carving, the Gadlut comes afterwards by lowering the Malchut from Bina. At that time, the light of Hochma returns to it and shines in Hochma and in Hassadim, and then HS elicited illumination of Hochma and illumination of Hassadim to the Metzah of AA, and the Metzah decided on the importance of the light of Hassadim and repelled the light of Hochma for ZON. It elicited the lights of Hochma and Hassadim, and by the Metzah deciding to receive the Hassadim and repel the Hochma, this decision was registered in the Metzah, and then a light called Ratzon was registered in the Metzah.
This decision that it made, preferring Hassadim over Hochma, although it has Hochma, is called Ratzon. That is, that same reception of Hassadim, which were initially controlled by the ascent of Malchut to Bina, has now become a Ratzon.
