1. Rav’s Introduction: Yes, I hope you can hear me well and this lesson is very important one if we will actualize it. Kabbalists recommend to us we will already enter the feeling of the Creator, the feeling of the upper world because everything depends on the importance of the Creator in our eyes. As it says, who will be king, who will rule each and everyone says I will rule in the person, it's either the evil inclination or the good inclination as it said to hold on to the good inclination and the bad inclination and which one will rule over the person. According to how much a person allow and to whom does the person allow, whom does he want to be the king himself is ego or the Creator the force of bestowal. Therefore, all of our work is the opposite even though he does not rule in our senses, he is not felt, he is not evident, we need to make effort such that we are constantly under his rule, with his presence, we exist in him. Accordingly, we can then begin to feel him and according to that we can work. as much as we will discover the Creator that he is ruling us, ruling our senses. Our ego is really the whole of reality, everything that we feel. We feel everything through our ego so then it turns out that we have nothing else to do but only to make the Creator greater in our eyes.

This is why seeing the Creator trying to see the Creator doing exercises so that we will see the Creator's control on each and every step along the way with everything. Everything that is happening around us because the Creator does everything in there is none else besides in this is our work according to our efforts towards that. If we will exert correctly and perform the right actions then we will discover that through our efforts we will discover, so that him, so that in spite of our ego, we will pray sorry, go as help against, in opposite the Creator. We will rise above our ego then we will be able to discover him and accordingly, start to discover the upper world. That is the way that he rules our ego. This is why the Creator created the ego precisely, according to his goodwill. 3. S. (9:40) How is the Creator called ‘the Good who does good’ an also creates the evil inclination? How do you see the Creator is good?

R. We cannot see Him as good. If we would see Him as good then we would simply be forced to perform good actions, without any opposition, without any difficulty, and in that we would be just like the parts of nature of the still, vegetative and animate. Rather when can we say that we exist, that we are independent, that we have something with which is opposite the Creator? Nevertheless, we make of ourselves such that we agree with Him. This is how it is in every place and this is the difference between an Adam and the still, vegetative and animate. They keep the desires that are in them, automatically as the desires demand, and we do not. We work against our desires and so by that, we become independent. When I annul, cancel my desire, when it tells me what it wants me to do, however I take from outside of me the upper desire, I already think of it, I recognize it as upper. Then I take upon myself to keep His desires. This is called ‘and the name of the Lord shall be upon you.’

4. S. (11:44) I heard, yesterday, that the generality of all of the vessels together is called the Shechina Divinity, the sum total of all of the vessels. To what extent does our coarseness help us in this?

R. When there is greater coarseness meaning resistance to the Creator, degrees and forces, actions, and guidelines that are the opposite of the Creator then we have a possibility to invert them. To transform them so they will resemble the Creator. Specifically, by that from something and it's opposite, turning the minus into a plus, by that we actually position ourselves with greater coarseness, greater power. And we truly adapt ourselves to the Creator as though we are transferring the darkness to light.

5. S. (13:11) What's the difference between the Creator being important and the Torah being important?

R. The Torah is the means by which, well, all in all, it is the light by which we can bring ourselves closer to the Creator. And the Creator is already the upper light, source of everything.

6. S. (13:50) The demand for the Creator to be important for the quality of bestowal to be important not my ego, my will to receive. Am I first of all to demand it of myself and then ask the Creator or I'm saying help me to be that way?

R. This is to the extent that you are asking with the friends. You have to invest in whatever was given you, and most importantly it is in the group. To the extent that you annul yourselves towards the friends, those that you have towards you in your whole corporeal life. As much as you invest an effort towards spirituality relative to corporeality, accordingly, you are drawing what we call ‘the reforming light,’ and it helps you to be more and more close to the qualities of bestowal, the qualities of the Creator.

7. R. How can we advance from our state where we are disconnected from the upper world, the spiritual world, the true reality and we live in some bubble? It's as though we are immersed inside our will to receive and we cannot see anything just like that worm that is living inside, let's say, a rotten apple It turns out that we have to realize that anything that is less than the revelation of the Creator, who is filling up the whole of reality, any such state that is less than the Creator filling up the whole of reality is given to us so that from it we will rise to that degree where the Creator is filling up the whole of reality around us, inside of us. And that is the problem, this is how it needs to be. This is how we should exist. Therefore, the exile is a calling for redemption. The Creator is deliberately giving us such states where we don't feel good in them, we feel darkness, unpleasantness, lack of orientation, lack of understanding, all kinds of negative emotions. And it is all in all, to advance us, otherwise we would not move. We are on the animate level, and the animate level is the degree of the beast. And a beast, it feels okay, it doesn't demand anything. It can only demand in the framework where he exists, just like this world in sex, family, honor, knowledge, this is what people demand. As much as we can elevate these desires but actually these are desires only on the animate level. Because on the degree of the speaking, these are desires to resemble the Creator. Therefore, it turns out that we need to try to muster our forces, to gather our forces in order to lift ourselves from that level. This is why he says when a person says he feels that he is in exile, meaning he feels a taste of exile in the work, he already starts to feel that it is disconnecting from the Creator. That is, the Shechina didn’t feel the taste of exile that now specifically when he feels a descent, distancing from the Creator, the Creator is telling him ‘look where you are, you can come closer.’ That is, who does the Creator give that taste of exile? The one that He wants to bring closer to Himself. Then we must not relate to the feeling of exile with disregard, that we don't want it, we don't like these states, we get upset with the Creator. It should actually be the other way around. We should be grateful to Him that now He is awakening us and showing us what kind of distance there is between us and Him. This is why it says that if they go to exile, Divinity is with them. This means that the Shechina has let him taste the taste of exile. And this is necessary before redemption. Before the Creator appears, there has to be this feeling that He’s lacking, missing. That is, every moment with each and everything where we feel everything that there is in reality, we should aim that moment to searching for the upper force. Where is He is inside this concealment that I now feel in my life, in my world, my present world? Where could it be that the Creator will be revealed? With them, as it says here, that “if they went to exile, the Creator is with them.” “With them” means that the Shechina is attached to them, meaning the Creator exists but He is in the form of the Achoraim, the posterior. That they are not separated from the Shechina so say that they would say this is a descent. To the contrary, now the Shechina is giving him a push so that they would rise on the levels of Kedusha, actually, get closer to the Creator and She, the Shechina dresses herself in garments of descent. It is all a game of the Creator. Just like we do it with children when we want to teach them how to walk. We put them on the floor before us and we move away from them. And the child starts crying, he doesn't know what to do until he takes a step forward. Once again, we move away and he cries even more. It seems like in a moment He's going to catch us and we’ll fall into our embrace, but not. We move farther away and he cries. He thinks that’s it, we are leaving him, more and more, how cruel are these parents? This is how we nevertheless teach him how to take a few more steps and starts walking, and he happily reaches us. This is how it is with us and the Creator. Truly to the same example.

8. S. (24:26) What does it mean to accept ascents and descents only through faith above reason?

R. That I do not see what I see but rather it says ‘they have eyes but see’ not because.

I only see egotistically, whatever I see. And seemingly nothing else is happening in the world. But I want to see through the force of bestowal, through faith above reason. Then I rise above.

9. S. (25:20) How can we connect with the rest of the 10s in the work in our 10 if inside our 10 we're moving away from each other all of the time?

R. This is our work. Just realize that the Creator deliberately will show us states that seemingly are more and more difficult, however each and every state is measured and positioned in such a way that it matches exactly our degree of distance, and they are degree of closeness as much as we are capable, as much as we have to do right now. This is why we have nothing to get upset about, that it is hard work or incorrect work. Specifically, this degree that we have to rise on right now, to climb on, is actually what brings us this state. It's not that the Creator is doing things on purpose and He doesn't measure the degrees, well we can say so, but in the end, we have to realize that we exist in a system. The system includes within it the beginning of the work and the end of corrections with each and every one and with everyone together. The system is working entirely like some huge computer. Each time we receive according to our force, according to our preparations, discernments, our internal and external states -- each and every one of us and all of us together -- regarding this state we have nothing to say but that this is the optimal result from whatever we are.

10. S. (27:43) How can we bless for the concealment if the ego does not allow us to see any further than that?

R. You cannot see beyond it because you haven't yet corrected your ego so as to be in order to bestow, this is why you cannot see any further. We see through our qualities. If our qualities are of reception, then we see the whole world, the whole of reality of reception and we call that reality, ‘this world.’ If we acquire a little bit of the reality of the upper world, then whatever we feel with the upper qualities, qualities of bestowal, will we see the upperworld -- what we call ‘the next world,’ that's it. It all depends only on how much we replace our qualities from in order to receive to in order to bestow. As we said in the beginning of the lesson, what does it mean in order to receive or in order to bestow? It means that where I am more important, it is called ‘this world, where the Creator is more important than me, that is called ‘the upper world, the next world.’ In the meantime, from these two qualities, two forces, two approaches, we assemble each and every degree. It's not that, at once I can simply invert myself to be in order to bestowal but rather to some extent I can, to some extent I cannot. Therefore, these states are called rising or climbing on the degrees.’

11. S. (30:05) When you fall into a bad state, an exile and you feel your loneliness, then you can pray. You can ask for correction then when the prayer works and you feel good again, the basis for the prayer is lost. So how can you take any another step-in order to make another portion?

R. Only from the friends can you get the drive force, the force to shift to bestowal, to connection, to the Creator, to spirituality only from the friends. You by yourself, if you are now in a fall and maybe you are recovering a little bit through their surrounding light from the illumination that they have. You can do it only by now adhering to them even more and this is how you will advance. Otherwise, we'll have no other forces. You cannot get spiritual forces but only from the society. We will discover these things even more. That all of our descents, our true spiritual falls, are only with respect to the friends -- disregard of the friends. We shouldn't even be felt on the outside but this is how we will discover it.

S. But I'm really trying, I think about connection, I tried to exalt the friends in my eyes but what am I doing wrong?

R. Just continue with us and try to keep whatever we do.

12. S. (32:32) Behind every friend stands the Creator. How to elevate the importance and value of the friends in the group?

R. Work together as Rabash writes. We don't really have any work. We can't approach the Creator and we do all kinds of things in order to reach Him, in order to speak to Him, in order to do something with Him, but nevertheless we don't achieve anything by this. We, all in all, need to realize and we do realize it. But gradually, slowly over years, that specifically with the friends whatever we feel, how far we are from them and how much we depend on them, we return to the Creator to help us and arrange our relations specifically with the friends. first and foremost. It's as if the Creator is only a means. He is helping me to be in contact and with an inner understanding with the friends. Then I look at the 10 as a place that is truly spiritual. That to the extent where inside between us we connect between us and this is how we advance, and only after that can I reach a connection with the Creator.

13. S. (34:43) How can we work in the group to raise the importance of the quality of bestowal over the quality of the will to receive?

R. This is what we learn about the work in the group, our problem is that we don't feel how much one thing depends on the other. How much my connection with the friends makes out of me someone who can enter connection with the Creator. I acquire, I learn from the connection with the friends such inner qualities that earlier I didn't think this is how you acquire it. and I feel in those qualities which is a new attitude I have towards others which I didn't have before, and with broken vessels, egoistic relations will be able to learn and also to teach ourselves to relate to him otherwise we won't be able to feel him. Specifically, out of us feeling ourselves as broken. not organized correctly. This is how we reach it but without the love of people without connection with the friends I will not have the qualities by which I can connect with the Creator and feel him.

This is why the more we will start to believe what the sages said is true and we like little children will start to keep these things we don't want it and we don't understand it and we don't see any benefit in it. We will advance faster. I wasn't able to hear it for a long time, that specifically from the friends, through the friends you can dance to the Creator. There is no other choice this is why we are coming from the side of the vessel so as much as we connect we reach the revelation of the light in the vessel, light exists in complete rest and the Kli has to reach the very first and in it will already be the light of Nefesh, additional tens later on to do more and more work any connecting according to that the light that will be in it will already be the light of Nefesh will grow to the light of Ruach.

S. How does it happen that a group of friends, they see that they want to go deeper, they decide to add more importance to to devote more to the path, to the connection?

R. The Creator is awakening us each one separately and all of us together for all kinds of suffering and all kinds of problems and in the end, we realize that we have to advance in such a way.

14. S. (39:42) What does it mean that the Divinity dresses in the descent?

R. The same degree that we have to reach the spiritual degree, it now in itself, is felt in us as a descent, as a fall, as a difficulty, confusion because we don't yet have the vessels with which to see it, feel it, to understand it in it's true form which is perfection eternity understanding. There are no descents but only that is the same spiritual debris that we have to climb on it appears to us in this way. but the moment we can climb on.

S. But if I feel kind of confused in life what does it mean then? That it is the next degree that's appearing this way?

R. Sometimes we can't quite say what is happening to us in the state of descent that we received it in a particular kind how does it relate to spirituality but apparently in such a way it's the most comfortable and it's the best way to influence the person so that he will rise and we will ask why and for what purpose we are living. That he will make himself accountable correctly regarding the importance of things in his life.

15. R. Earlier we talked about it, that we got a feeling of darkness, and it truly matches the degree of light which we need to discover and here he explains to us how we should relate to it, to this darkness. He says, how can one muster the strength to overcome the body, the will to receive when he feels that the Divinity is in the dust. That is that the greatness of the Creator is truly in the dust, he has lost it completely, what joy can he receive from this work he cannot, he has no joy. Even more perplexing he can need and want to work when he feels no taste, that is there is no importance and no taste. This would be understandable if he had no choice, we could understand when a person is forced to work, but how is it possible to one such work which feels tasteless? Accordingly, we feel reality, that is, if we were truly aware of how we acquired reality, the air so warm and the cold, all kinds of colors, all kinds of musical sounds, whatever I feel inside of me, it is all translated into more pleasant less pleasant. Only in such a way. Look at how much on this scale of pleasures more pleasant or less pleasant how many discernments there are on this scale. What are our every sense, many discernments, all of it, really only settles in one sense within us and it gives us the picture of the world and it is more or less that we enjoy each and everything. If I detect something it could be a stone, a tree, the air, sweet sounds, special sound, a voice, I'm not even talking about the form of the human form that appears in my eyes. It is all translated only with respect to pleasure or suffering more or less. This is why he says even more perplexing, how can one need and want to work when he feels no taste in it.? This would be understandable if he had no choice. We can, under but to work to bestow, how can we need and want to work when we feel no taste in it, understandable when we have no choice. We can understand when a person is forced to work yet how do we want such a work when it is tasteless, because I have not direction.

Always aiming from a small pleasure to a greater pleasure and since he does not have the strength to overcome he does not have that strength, then to feel joy in such work how can he serve the King in such a lowly state when he feels the taste of dust while serving the king while he feels the difference of this, the different kinds of discernment that he doesn't have the strength to overcome he just feels himself as though he is dead, he has nothing to do he can just go to sleep so for me to have joy in such work how can you serve the king in the complete state? When he feels the taste of dust while serving the king, meaning he doesn't feel you cannot distinguish between different discernments, different actions, truly he has nothing to give disregard. He does not ask the Creator to give him the revelation of his greatness so he will feel a good taste in it rather he asks the Creator to give him strength and work gladly even though he doesn't feel it, meaning what is it all about?

Usually in my life I feel what is this what is that what is that in the sense of pleasure within me I'm not aware of it but I look at the wall, the table, the chair, the floor, all of these things I feel them not as it seems to us that we feel it through our senses of sight, taste, touch, smell. I feel it through pleasures, more pleasure, less pleasure, different kinds of pleasure. Because the will to receive is our general sense so then it turns out. that if I start coming closer to spirituality this is how I start to see things. This is why for this that he wants to perform actions for the Creator without any calculation for himself he asks the Creator not that he will give him the revelation of his greatness so he will feel it good taste in it, rather he asked the Creator to give him strength to be able to overcome the body and work gladly because now he can work only now for the Creator. This is what he is asking me when I have no taste, when I understand that these things seemingly have gone under concealment and I don't feel how I can relate them to it's all excellent the world has turned dark for me in a descent, a fall, whatever you want to call it, what do I do now?

I can change my perception, that is instead of feeling reality that it is more pleasant or less pleasant, to determine a different reality, in a different way not through the sense of receiving more or receiving less, enjoying more or enjoying less. I am asking that the Creator will give me the strength so that I will be able to overcome the body and work gladly because now we can work only for the Creator. So now I'm asking from the Creator during the descent, give me the possibility to feel first of all that I have that taste of dust, from where this taste of dust comes to me, why is he showing this to me, the Creator, that I have to stay in the dust. I have a taste of dust in bestowal, I have a taste of dust, in that I don't want to advance. In order to receive but in order to bestow if I can arrange that indeed I will see myself as acquiring already a different style in life a new quality. towards the revelation of reality.

16. S. (54:32) I got all confused. until not so long ago I thought I was asking the Creator to reveal his greatness?

R. The greatness of whom, the greatness of the Creator?

S. The greatness of the Creator.

R. The greatness of the quality of bestowal? This is what you're asking for, I precisely said that only in different words what did I say? I said that first of all I grasp reality in terms of better and worse, the sweeter or bitter and now I want to grasp reality in the form of more or less Creator or more or less bestowal. The Creator who is arranging this new reality for me is actually opening the opposite, the different reality to me and this different reality seems to me as a descent because I lost the taste, Taamim, of bestowal, I mean what I previously felt as good as sweet now what I feel instead that it is tasteless or even bitter.

S. In the excerpt it says that a person says it, a person does not ask to reveal his greatness? What does he ask for?

R. Eventually as results of the distance a person has to reach the state where they only thing he lacks is the feeling of the greatness of the Creator force that is entire fuel in order for him to be able to bestow so that he will be able to overcome the corporeal pleasures, the physical pleasures meaning that enter of the will to receive so that he will be able to overcome them and to the measure he receives these pleasures only to the benefit of the Creator, so that the Creator will be better in my eyes than the pleasures.

17. S. (57:24) What will we do in faith above reason to advance the 10 to above Divinity?

R. To enter faith above reason as much as possible into see how we can precisely by rising of the force of above reason and acting only in bestowal, how much here were making room for the revelation of the Creator and to expand faith above reason the force of bestowal over the force of reception, the force of Bina over the force of the Malchut.

18. S. (58:23) In the will to receive that is bestowing or influenced by the force of pleasure it's a very clear system that allows us to work but as the foundation for our old life it's really something that is rudimentary, fundamental, but when we speak about shifting to some new basis, the quality of bestowal there is nothing to hold onto. There's no feeling of it so how can this be a foundation, a basis which is outside of the desire for pleasure it's as if you're moving on to some basis which is lacking?

R. I understand you. You want to say that if you are heading towards bestowal then we have no such tools or vessels, measurements are feeling of it more or less, who what, where we don't exist in this system of forces and such calculations so what are we going to do? You're right that we can't exist but we have to understand that we do have something like that. That we have to see faith above reason that force of bestowal, which is the Creator, for him to clothing us, then we have his force. This is especially something that is revealed in the ten and this is why he broke the vessel so that these pieces, so by trying to connect these pieces, they will come to a state where they build the system. Then in this system they will discover what bestowal is. no other choice there is no other way for the created being to exist in relation to the Creator. The Creator that created the created being, made the will to receive out of himself because he didn't have that and created the created being in the will to receive and shattered the created being in order to give him the ability to also come to the will to bestow, to reach it but you are right to begin with we are completely unrelated to that.

19. S. (01:01:41) What needs to happen with me as a result of an incorrect request that I make to their Creator and vice versa?

R. Good question. If I ask the Creator incorrectly then he needs to perform on me different kinds of actions by which we will scrutinize, where we did, we err. If I perform a correct action with the friends then I discover the measure to which I really moved in the right direction and then I discover in my heart, the action itself which is the action of bestowal and its source which is the Creator. Then just like I am cleaved to the will to receive through its actions that give me pleasure, the same way when I disconnect from them and perform actions in order to bestow actions of bestowal, I attain them and cleave unto the Creator who is their source.

20. S. (01:03:41) Please tell us the state in which one feels the bad taste of dust, is it important for him only to replace his desire with another desire?

R. It's incorrect. We cannot feel some kind of discernment like you call it taste of dust unless we feel or felt that we have a memory from a different taste. It is always the advantage of the light over the darkness or from the darkness we're always discovering one over the other, one from the other and then we can find these things. Therefore, we have no choice but to more correctly discern, differentiate, detect exactly where we are but it is always one opposite the other. I cannot say something about something unless I am consciously or subconsciously clearly or less clearly but position one discernment opposite the other and base myself on it.

22. R. We are not aware of the measure to which we were not to receive the method of correction, the wisdom of Kabbalah, how to come to the revelation of the Creator, how much time, years over years that it would take for each and every person to attain their own correction. In there or according to their existence in the broken vessel, from generation to generation we would have more and more revelations, advise that every time accumulates into a system that better, more correctly explains how to awaken us, direct us to look at this and not to look at that, pay attention, look at this, like we teach children. Even though it took humanity to come to this world thousands of generations to come to this world. We are in today, same thing in the wisdom of Kabbalah. If we did not receive the method from Kabbalists then we would have gotten our experience from the blows from thousands and thousands of such actions that mankind went through until those unique people called Kabbalists have discovered the method. Therefore, it is beneficial to us to disclose it and to implement it as much as possible without feeling how much these things are correct or not according to the blows.

23. S. (01:16:59) If one decides he wants to work in the state of dust even if he tastes the taste of dust in the work, he says it's very important for him and that if he's able to do something for the importance of the Creator, what does it mean a person decides?

R. Our free choice is that I am in the dark, everything is tasteless and I have no ability to work against my desire so what do I do in order for this to influence me. I incorporate myself in the group like he writes in the article “The Freedom”. By doing that I arranged myself in such a way that I increased the importance of something even though for me it is tasteless, and I use it. That is how I transcend to the work spiritually.

S. How later on, what does it mean that later on 1 rise to spirituality so it turns out in the beginning that I do incorrect work?

R. R. Adam HaRishon is the will to receive that the Creator created and this will receive is the opposite form of the Creator but did not feel that he is the opposite of the Creator because he had no sufficient desire.
