1. Rav’s Introduction:

On Monday like today we are after the YH and as successful as it is on the next day we have additional influence over us, additional bestowal.  Well nevertheless we do get up in the morning in a different mood with wind in our sails, and here I'd like to ask you, is this how it should be or more specifically we get up maybe hardly it's difficult for us to get up.  We feel some fog in our head and darkness in our heart and we don't understand and we don't know why we're getting up what do I get out of it until I lift myself from the degree of the beast to the degree of man when that I awaken and remember I want to be similar to the Creator, it takes time and their states and such states. So how do we accept these times? Either it doesn't matter to me in what way I get up and I need to bring myself to the lesson in some particular state or I'm happy that I'm jumping into a new day in great hope that I have in advance from spirit that fills me up or maybe I'm the opposite, I'm in such darkness so that I can hardly wake myself up and lift myself from the bad and also from death. So let's see, what do you think? How do we like to get up?

 

2. WSQ: (2:53) Which state do we accept in a way that is in a way more correct in our understanding, in our thinking and how do we nevertheless process each and every state, either it comes from what we had yesterday, let's say yesterday we had such a good beautiful YH or for whatever reason I had some good mood out of myself, well of course it comes from above or I'm in a state where I don't have a good mood and I get up with a little bit of bitterness, and that too comes from above so what out of these two states and what out of these states do I reach the best state for the lesson? Let's have a workshop.

 

3. WSQ. (8:24) So nevertheless when we get up this happiness and later on we work on ourselves and awaken, reach the lesson already in a good state so that we have better preparation for the left or the fact that the Creator wakes us up in a good mood and wake up and jump out of bed and we are interested in it, nevertheless what should be more grateful to the Creator for? For getting up hardly without desire truly like a beast or when we get up and we are wide awake and we run to the joyfully willingly? How are we grateful to the Creator for waking us up this way or that?

4. R. This means that whatever we get from above first it comes from the Creator. This means that there are two parts in Creation in general the parts are receiving as the part that wants to receive for itself and this is why it is called the evil inclination, the evil desire and in order to invert it into a good desire so it will be like in the Creator so we will be in a state that is like eternity, wholeness, above all the bad things. So there is a means for it called the Torah therefore I created the evil inclination and this is why I created the Torah as a spice, a medicine a spice in addition to the evil inclination to the will to receive. It follows that the Torah will be as a spice to pass his will to receive who from a will to receive to receive, that it will be cancelled, that it will be like to bestowal. That it makes out of the will to receive, the evil, entirely bad, a good desire. This is called the first discernment in Torah. How does the Torah discover light, influence us we don't know but this is how it works. because it's not working out of the fact that he's lacking, it's others are lacking and he's filling them up. It's not that he wants to receive, right it's that he wants to fulfill himself with the knowledge of the Creator. It's entirely bestowing giving and then after he has that. He attains it out of himself and he feels, because he's performing actions similar to the Creator it's called from your actions we know you and from this he recognizes that this is how the Creator is. He's performing actions of bestowal  and sees the wisdom in acts of bestowal and that it's possible to perform them and then he starts to recognize what the Creator is doing and this is how he studies the Creator, called studies the Torah.

 

5. S. (19:57) What is the left quality of the Torah?

R. The right line is when we start working like the Creator with faith above reason for us to have this quality on top of the reception and once we have the force of bestowal, we also start to understand what are the forces of reception that are in us how can they work in it and then we also study the evil inclination what is it, why is it there, why did the Creator create it and out of that we also obtained the wisdom of the Torah, because we attained wisdom only in our will to receive but first our actions need to be in order to bestow.

S. So let's assume we've connected with the friends through prayer, we have connection now we need to start developing the connection between us through?

R. No, no no now you still need to bestow to one another upon all the different conditions the Creator's awakening between you so you will be above these conditions not that you won't look at it you do look at it and despite what you see you go above it, the most important part of it is the connection in spite of all of these collisions and distances and once you reach a state where the connection between you will be the most important and it will settle well between you, truly as one man with one heart then you will start to learn the wisdom of the Torah. Which conditions do we have in these desires, which do we activate, in what way does the Creator make us, how he created a connection between us. That is we always start to study our structure the way he did it, the will to receive in itself and that way we will study the wisdom of the Torah. For the time being we're only studying this force of bestowal, that is how the upper light how it shines on us and lets us rise above our desire to connection.  Later on through the force of connection between us will start to study the will to receive in itself, to study the will to receive to get to know creation itself.

S. But for now isn't that worth the work in order to maintain the connection?

R. Yes, precisely only that for the time being.

 

6. S. (23:26) How can I tell if I'm on the right track if I feel that I'm more distant to the friends as opposed to a couple of days ago?

R. Well you were given that now a burdening of the heart so that upon these new conditions you need to be connected to them in mind and heart and everything. This is how it is and therefore as we spoke about waking up in the morning when you get up in the morning, you need to be happy that you have difficulty, darkness that you need to get up through efforts that you don't want it and this way you advance specifically in such a way.  When you overcome your ego then you have a new force with which you are now going to create a new vessel. when you overcome the will to receive that grew over the night and you added to the connection with the friends and specifically with this additional coarseness from you and the friends building a new Kli, a new connection until this level will be sufficiently high, then in it you will discover the Creator.  Because the darkness that you discover before from it you will also have the feeling of the light.

 

7. S. (25:30) When do we need wisdom, why not just work in bestowal?

R. The force of bestowal we acquire above the will to receive, only gives us the possibility to rise above our will to receive, in that we don't build our Kli the Kli out of an acting between us our desires and making out of them a new vessel.  It's like you have different pieces of a vessel and you have to keep them together so glue them together, It's not enough that the light of Hassadim shines upon you, the light of Hassadim is enough for us to not reject one another but for us to be neutral and for us to truly be connected one another and you need a flesh, force you need Aviut in order for you to have a connection between people and this is only by using the will to receive in order to bestow.

S. And in Hassadim there's no connection between us

R. No the force of Hassadim is only in Aviut Shoresh and Aleph and a little bit of Bet, in Katnut, smallnes, when we don't reject one another and we don't beat up on one another, we are good children, but still it's children, it's not mighty men, we are as the evil inclination The evil inclination becomes a good inclination. 

 

8. S. (27:14) I read the excerpt a few times and if we can repeat it especially the second half its not clear, please.

9. R. (28:33) This is what one calls wholeness, he rises above his will he rises above it however he's not using the will to receive in any other way except to rise above it.  (Student reads) Because everything is filled with the light of Hesed. So already he is good and doing good for certain so what else is missing? (Student reads) This means that faith above reason is all in all a correction, a correction in the middle, where we can rise above our will to receive but later on we need to connect between us all our desires to receive into one big vessel. It is not enough for us to have Hassadim we need to connect between us in a Kli of Hochma, wisdom, so then in our Kelim, a vessel according to the will to receive between us we have to do it in order to bestow then Hochma flows between us and we obtain in practice the upper Force.

S. It mixes up a little bit with things we study before, faith above reason?

R. Faith above reason is the first part of the correction when you rise to Bina from the degree of the Malchut and then you are in force of bestowal but it's not the end of correction, it's the force that you acquired which later on you need to amplify it in order to connect the desires to receive so that they will be in order to bestow in practice so that the Light of Hochma, wisdom will be revealed in the Kli not just the light of Hassadim in faith above reason only the light of Hassadim is revealed.

S. Should I ignore the fact that the faith above reason is the middle line you build?

R. No, It's not the middle line, faith above reason, it's only the right you may involve the left and then the middle, there's more to do, however for us, faith above reason is what we now want to acquire, this is our goal for the mean time between us

 

10. S. (32:26) The Creator created the evil inclination, and the Torah for correction, why did he need such a thing?

R. In order for us to get to know creation we will get to know it from his direction, from his level and then we will be whole, like Him, this is the Creator's desire from the beginning this was his desire to create the created beings that will be like him.  How is it possible to be like Him, if it is a created being, the created being is outside of him, how can he create someone that will truly be like him? Seemingly is it impossible, the Creator creates the created being from the will to receive that is opposite from himself and gives it all the possibilities even though the created being is opposite the Creator to acquire all kinds of qualities that you will be like the Creator, that's it this is how it is.

 

11. S. (33:48) What is covered Hassadim?

R. You have open Hassadim when the light of Chochmah is revealed in the Hassadim and you have covered Hassadim when the light of Chochmah is not revealed in the Hassadim it is all Hassadim.

 

12. S. (34:06) It's pretty clear that here an inversion appears because in the Rosh, Hochma is the right line and Binah is the left line and the body is the Guf is it the other way around, is this the light that comes from top down and here it's reflected light from the bottom up?

R. I don't understand what you're asking and I don't want to confuse the others, you will have to go along with everyone and in the meantime we are going together.

 

13. S. (35:04) What is this work that you use the will to receive only in order to go above it?

R. The will to receive the Creator created so that we will enter a system so that the result of the system is that we will feel the Creator and be like him, what is unclear? Inside the will to receive and it will be broken into pieces that will connect in such a way that the nature of the Creator will become clear to us.

S. But if the will to receive exists only to go above it, where is the area of work?

R. In spite of the will to receive in order to bestow, It's not that way disregard the will to receive, we don't use it, specifically it's actually the opposite the more we advance the more we need the will to receive in order to build a complete system.

S. So it means entering a system outside of the will to receive if all I have in my reality is the will to receive? 

R. There is only the will to receive however because it is broken into pieces I arranged such a relation between the different parts which is like the form of bestowal and out of that I learned what does it mean to be like the Creator, the Bestower. 

 

14. S. (36:55) Rabash writes after a person has been awarded with faith above reason he is then rewarded with the aspect of the giver of the Torah what does that mean?

R. That he begins above reason to see actions to bestow that means that he's starting to study the Creator.

S. Study the Creator what does that mean?

R. Through acts of bestowal from your actions I get to know you, when I perform actions from the state of his stall, I study the Creator's nature.

S. What are actions in order to bestowal, how do we do it in the ten?

R. I take the friends desire and I fill it up according to his desire, this is called in order to make your will as his will.

S. Can we do it in a practical sense in our work?

R. We have to do it, you have to implement it in our tens.

S. What exercise can we do?

R. Bestowal.

15. R. This means we were brought to a group and we were taught how we should behave correctly in order to reach correction and we need to try but of course we will not succeed, and it is good that we will not succeed and it is correct that we will not succeed and it was prearranged in advance that we will not succeed, how can we perform acts of connection and bestowal if it pertains to the Creator and not to us? So what can we do in a state when we are not capable of it return to him and we demand from him to take part with us and what depends on us is only the deficiency for him to do it.  This is how we connect between us so that the Creator is in the middle between us, He is performing the connection, the relation this is called he who makes peace in the heavens will make peace between us and as we discover we're not capable of connecting it is only obligating us to turn to the Creator so he will connect us.  It's very simple however we forget about it, we think that however it is in our world that we need to perform the entire action from beginning to end and this entirely incorrect. This is our primary mistake and this is why we fail. We think that by ourselves, through our own force that we need to reach correction, it will never work out, we just need to see in each and every state that once we fail immediately and ask him to do it like a child pulling his mother to help him in something where he's not succeeding.

 

R. It is considered a great thing when a person feels that without the Creator he will not succeed. Reader Specifically from above the greater the person is the more he needs the Creator help and he receives greater forces from above. Reader This is what he will receive from above but according to his prayer now we need to get used to it to organize ourselves and turn to the Creator to have a deficiency to raise MAN so that we will get us from above, so that He will connect between us, that force of connection is in the group this is what we need to have not to scatter and do anything else, is this clear?

 

16. S. (46:08) It's not clear what to do against the forgetfulness and scattering?

R. It's deliberate so that we will need to help each other because that's how we need to behave where I remind you and he reminds you and he reminds others and so we all do, it's deliberately it was done deliberately, there's no random chance here where something just happens, if something just happens it's a sign we're not doing the complete action.

S. So what is the focus again only the deficiency turning to him?

R. I tried to connect to the friends, if I feel that I'm incapable of it, then the friends also can't do it then we talk about it and we turn to the Creator. We turn to him, we demand of him, he enjoys it when we make demands, by that we crown him, determining that he's the upper force.

S. What is this act of turning to Him exactly?

R. Turning to the Creator that's a very complicated action, but for now as far as we're concerned we offer thanks for having made us made us, created us, for him having arranged everything we have, the places were in and everything the situation we are in now, everything also he created for us there's none else besides Him.  We demand that he connects us together because that's how it should be according to the plan of creation and we get from the Kabbalists who are his representatives who explain what he wants.  We're confident we're certain that the Creator enjoys the fact that he recognized Him to be the Creator and turn to him for corrections and to begin with so that we have the opportunity and ability to turn it in and by that we come closer to him we get to know him more and we connect.

 

17. S. (48:34) In the previous quote Rabash wrote to rise to the state of Binah and to perform acts of bestowal and this quote it seems like a different tactic we need to feel a deficiency for the Creator or this is complementary?

R. The same thing, think about what we're saying here I think about what we're saying you'll see it's the same thing, don't start poking into poking into these two verses and thinking you understand this from that, be where we are together.

 

18. S. (49:19) How can we imagine correctly the Creator when we ask of him?

R. The power of bestowal, the power of connection that's the Creator.

 

19. S. (49:35) We used to do everything in our lives, get married, registered to go to school, work, then where we come to the wisdom of Kabbalah, suddenly it says you have to ask of the Creator for everything seemingly we do this by ourselves and it's not in our nature and we know that this is what we have to do, but we constantly forget about it and now you keep saying try.  The question is how long do we have to try, only in the beginning when we study or ten years later we can understand that we have to have the Creator?

R. You must always turn to the Creator, all the time, that's why it's written we prayed all day long.

S. If we understand that by ourselves we cannot do it and the appeal should be constant to the Creator and we only depend on this prayer and turning to the Creator?

R. Yes you don't get any power from any source but from him and by besides that Force you don't need anything, the power of bestowal which exists in Nature, the power of the Creator is what you need.

 

20. S. (51:03) Can a person, should a person perform scrutinies or is it better a person did do anything that before he turns to the Creator for help?

R. No you must turn to the Creator as quickly as possible.

 

21. S. (51:27) The step that comes before I ask of the Creator sometimes I find myself in a state where I'm not capable of understanding what does it mean to connect to the friends the pressure in the will to receive on the one hand becomes a bit smaller and then I understand it when I try to enter this space it's like a sixth digit, a sixth finger, this desire to connect to the friends in itself seemingly does it exist in the person in some way or do we have to ask the Creator for this desire as well?

R. Yes, the desire to connect to the friends we also have to receive from the Creator but we have exercises in the group that help us help us develop a desire for connection when I look at the friends and I see that they are able, they can connect together and that shows me that they are more connected than me then the extent that I'm drawn to them.  Then out of envy and then I turn to the Creator why don't I have this desire for connection that the friends have.

S. We have a friend in the ten who got sick and now he's despaired, how can we turn to the Creator and thank him if we're fearful about it?

R. You have to understand that all these things happen for the best and you need only ask to see that everything that happens to him happened so that you will turn to the Creator as soon as possible as together as possible instead of being in those sensations, be in sensations of connection with the sick person and the Creator.

 

22. S. (53:48) What does it mean to ask from a force or to turn to some Force if we're talking about the wisdom of Kabbalah as a science?

R. The force of nature which you can awaken through your desire, which is also a force we're operating within a system of forces, the will is a force, the force of will, the force of bestowal, the force of reception, it's all forces. You're inside of nature, the Creator in Gematria it's called nature, God is nature, when you demand something by your own Force you activate some forces of nature, we are talking about wisdom about science.

 

23. S. (55:00) During the explanation how you said you need to get accustomed to raise MAN so I imagine to myself how do you train an animal either you constantly beat it up or you give it some candy for the animal to get used to it, how do we accustom ourselves?

R. Try to influence each other in order to awaken through envy, lust and honor to awaken the others each one awakens the others in the group, so that we're all connected together all of us and connected to the Creator. Either in request or in gratitude either make a request or say thank you very much. and that's how we should always be connected to the Creator, us and the Creator.

S. It says in the excerpt that one who comes to be purified is aided, so if I come to the lesson to be purified for sure I'll be aided but I'm not yet sure I'm coming to be purified most of the time I just show up?

R. Connect with the friends that's it, just make zero of yourself and go in amongst then.

 

24. S. (56:43) We said many times that before we turn to the Creator, we have to just despair of our own forces, what does it mean our own forces?

R. Where we want to connect together as a group we see that it doesn't work, it just doesn't work out we don't connect and then from that feeling we remember that we need to turn to the Creator for him to make that connection between us.

 

25. S. (57:27) Is the appeal to the Creator limited to a certain request or can I ask the Creator for anything?

R. You can ask the Creator for anything but you should know the request comes on condition that you connect to the others then have a collective request, any other request every other person in the world makes a request and there's no outcome to it clear?

 

26. S. (58:25) When I know that only the Creator can help me automatically it takes away the desire to connect to the friends because I know it's not going to work out because of what you said?

R. What won't succeed?

S. I won't connect with the friends so because I know only the Creator can help me so it automatically lowers my desire, why not turn to him directly and ask for.....

R. Because he doesn't answer a single individual a prayer can only come from the Minyan, only from a ten if you want to connect with the others in order to come to resemble the Creator, to start getting to know him through the connection between you, then go ahead organize, the group prays and they ask for the Creator to be revealed between them, they want to know the Creator go ahead it is written our wish is to know our King, only in that way.

 

27. S. (59:48) Before the Creator is revealed to a person what happens one stage before the Creator's revealed to a person?

R. The step before that I don't know, he's not revealed that's the step before that and put your microphone in order.

 

28. S. (1:00:18) Can we turn to the Creator even if I did not exert the maximum I can do?

R. You connect with the group that suffices and then you can turn to the Creator with the group don't think that, you can you're all asking how can I turn to the Creator, there's no such thing, it's us, how do we do it and that's why it doesn't work out for you, you forget it means to be us.

S. I can ask about us, why are we not turning to the Creator?

R. Because you all don't want to be connected, when you want to be connected but will be incapable of connecting then you will turn to the Creator.

S. Said you brought yourself to the surgery table and you asked to be operated on how do you reach such a state?

R. Ask for it, but always be the Creator, always be together as possible.

 

29. S. (1:01:28) Sometimes you say that we have to turn off our mind in our heart and feel or develop at the desire for connection with the friends and this mutual integration will appear, what is this mechanism for mutual integration for the friends?

R. You need to see the friends as the people that the Creator gave you to connect together so that you can discover him in the connection through all of you.
