1. Rav’s Introduction: Yes, our work should be only with the intention because the deed, the act itself means nothing. I can receive, I can give, the question is with which intention, that is, why am I doing it? This testifies to the nature of the action either, I'm giving or I am receiving, it could be I'm receiving however in truth to the essence of the action, it is giving or the other way around that I'm giving. However, according to the essence of the action it is an act of reception. This is why everything is measured through the intention and we should only talk about the intention. This is why the created beings that are connected, incorporated that include both an action of receiving or giving and also an intention which is either for myself or for the others, that work is complex work even though there aren't so many things here but because the intention and the action can be a in contradiction to one another. If we want to rise above the simple action in itself and to be in the essence, the nature of the action that is the intention then here we already have a problem. How do we constantly keep adhered? How do we measure ourselves according to the intention?

Only according to that do we look at reality and then it turns out that it's like in a computer when we switch from one screen to another screen. In one screen we see the world of actions, of give-and-take and on the other screen we see intentions for myself or for others and behind the others stands the Creator. Then we are here with great confusion because our desires keep changing and then we have to always assemble on top of them that same intention to bestow in a different way, according to the desire. That is our work until we finish assembling the intention to bestow upon all of our desires and this is called the end of correction of our actions. Therefore, it's not simple and each and every time again and again we feel ourselves attached to the action and we have to disconnect from the action and relate ourselves to the intention. This is called the degree of Adam, the still, vegetative and animate, those degrees follow the desire. The degree of Adam it awakens and becomes established in us according to the intention. This is why all of my work should be in that I actually come out of myself, out of my actions and first of all I establish my intention in order to bestow and later on I check what is possible for me to do in order to add as many as of my actions as possible, to that actually to bestow.

Meaning I already have before me this work where I restrict myself all together and about this it says sit and do nothing is better, then I try to aim myself in what does it mean in order to bestow, the intention that is in order to bestow and then which action can I add to it to the intention of in order to bestow. This is how I do it, that is it's not the action that is important rather than the intention first of all and then the actions that I can add to the intention as this is what determines. Therefore, it turns out that a person may do a lot of things, the essence of his actions could be not positive but negative and here we need to check ourselves. If we want to establish our intention, our spiritual vessel which is measured entirely according to the intention, in practice, it turns out that I need to depict to myself, the heart of the group, that is standing here before me and I want to get in there, inside this heart, that I want to join this heart and to be in it as much as possible to invest in it and to strengthen it. That for sure I will advance in practice also in the right way.

2. S. (7:02) How can you measure intention without actions?

R. This is a correct question: how, in general, can you measure the intentions and how can you even measure the ascents? This we still cannot do. To measure these things, we learned this already only in the work in degrees. When we begin to sort within us the coarseness of Shoresh, Aleph, Bet, Gimmel, Dalet and according to that, also the actions we are capable of doing in order to bestow and according to that the light. That is the revelation of the nature of the action and this is still ahead of us.

S. What is to join the intention to the action, what joins the action to the intention?

R. That first of all, I established myself in order to bestow. I imagined myself that this is what I want, and then I search with what action can I establish, implement my intention of bestowal? Then I realized that this could be only on the condition that I add myself, join myself into the heart of the groups. That in the group, inside of it, there is a heart and actually Creator arranges this heart and He exists inside of the heart and when I enter the heart of the group, and maybe for me this heart is still hidden, blocked, locked, however I try to somehow detect my friends are there, in adhesion even before me. And now I need to enter into the heart of the group of the 10 and there I want, if not to meet with the Creator, to feel Him, discover Him then at least through that give Him contentment. Later on, I will also discover Him. It's all inside of the group, inside the heart of the group. That is, in connection, the heart of the group is the connection of our intentions. The desires do not matter, our desires are certainly different. However, the intentions over the desires are where they all connect, there, in mutual bestowal, and the result of mutual bestowal is considered for the Creator, this is what I want to reach.

3. S. (10:19) How to enter correctly into the heart of the group and locate the desires of the friends, there, intentions of the friends?

R. This is a problem. This is very complicated work, very complex, and this work is prolonged until I work against my ego and subjugate it, I bend it through the reforming light -- it's not that I do it by myself -- and I begin to feel that my desire in itself is saying I want it, eventually at the end. I want it, to connect with the hearts of the friends and to discover inside of their hearts that common source of ours in which our heart will rejoice. In whom we can connect, not outside of the Creator but only in the Creator, there is the source of our connection. In that way we reach the center of creation, its central point.

S. Can we say that the intention in order to bestow is the connection with the heart of the 10?

R. Yes, the heart of 10 includes all of our intentions in mutual bestowal between us and to the Creator.

4. S. (12:33) Can our intention change the result of our actions in the connection in the group?

R. Of course, the intention changes everything. The intention well let's say you have a screen of a computer and you see a picture there, one picture. Then you press a button, a key on which it says ‘intention’ and then everything you see on your screen, well, the screen changes, and now it is showing you a picture, an image of intentions. Let’s say you have 10 people, 10 friends and each one is giving to the other, receiving from the other. Each one is involved in some mutual actions, interactions with the other, and now instead of actions you see their intentions on that next screen. Then you can see how different it is. The Creator, all in all - spirituality, is on the screen of intentions, and corporeality is on the screen of the actions. We eventually need to take into account only the screen of intentions. The screen of the actions, giving as well as reception in practice, whatever they are, the most important is that they will all be in order to bestow. Then it is considered that we are 100% corrected in bestowal. Help me to find other examples.

5. S. (14:47) It seems like there is no possibility of finding the pure intention, is it correct to stop looking inside of myself but to try to locate it only in the heart of the group?

R. It is true. We need to search for the correct actions only outside of our heart, yes. In us, there can be no correction in 10, no correct intention. Each and every time we need to begin from a state which is corrupted, broken, and bring it to a corrected state. Once we reach the corrected state it exists for only a second, truly. It is then replaced by another corrupted state. So that once again we will correct it and that way a penny and a penny adds up to a great amount until we begin to see the results of our corrections as a constant picture, an image which is always replaced but we already have some foundation of forms of bestowal. This is how we advance.

6. S. (16:20) Are there situations or actions let's say that are equal to the intentions and what are they?

R. There are actions that exist entirely in the intention or on a degree of Adam, human and all of the actions that are still, vegetative and animate, we don't consider that there is an intention there, because the intention then comes from above. And it is entirely for the benefit, towards the benefit of that object that keeps it. On the level of the still, vegetative and animate, there cannot be an intention to bestow but rather naturally they were created in such a way that they're all in order to receive for their own benefit. Only the degree, the fourth degree, the degree of Adam is built to begin with in such a way that it operates through the forces of nature, through the Creator in order to reach the intention to bestow, in order to reach identification with the Creator. Man’s intention is the most important and in general the degree of Adam does not belong to this world. Therefore, in this world it turns out that we are actually destroying this world while we are in the intention to receive. And it is all in order to scrutinize how much we have to change ourselves, to correct ourselves. Our whole purpose and the purpose of our existence is only to reach the intention to bestow and to live in the intention. That is, if now we are living in the action and we are trying to add to it, once in a while, some intentions to bestow because we have the intention to be receive, to begin with, and we need to reach the opposite form, a difference screen, a different image where all of our work and all of our existence, really, will be only with the intention of bestowal and according to our ability to add to that image, to that intention to bestow, each time new actions. In the wisdom of Kabbalah, we learn that there are restrictions, a screen and reflected light. Then we scrutinize which actions can we perform in such a way. Such that all of our actions will be under the control of the intention to bestow.

S. What sort of actions would that be in the group? Are there signs that we can see what we're talking about? What are those signs, those actions that you're talking about?

R. In the end, it's something simple. According to the form, according to this scheme, this image that we need to connect with the intentions of the friends towards connection and find inside these intentions, the source: where are we drawn to? Towards the Creator. The Creator is that, how should I say it, He does not exist, He is Bo Reh, ‘come and see.’ It is that source that we establish as it says, ‘you made me.’ We establish Him in the connection between us because imagine to yourself that indeed the Creator does not exist, there is no Creator. Unless we establish Him between us in the right way. We make him. As it says, ‘You have made me.’ It's forbidden to speak this way on the street, people won't understand what we have in mind. Well, there is the general light that is managing the whole of reality as well as us, however, if you want to discover the Creator then it comes as a result of our efforts.

7. S. (21:35) What's the difference between having intention in order to bestow to the 10 or in order to bestow to humanity or in order to bestow to the Creator?

R. These intentions to bestow to the 10, and to humanity and the Creator, they clothe one on top of the other like -- there is this babushka, an international term, as we call it. We have this small doll and you put it inside of a bigger doll and then yet inside of a bigger doll, this is how they do it in Russia for the children. These are the three degrees that we have to work on with the intention, in the 10, and then in the intention inside of humanity, and then already we reach the correct form of the Creator. However, in the 10, we nevertheless discover Him already in the right form but it's just not complete because the Creator operates through humanity and through, in general, the whole of nature, all the degrees of nature, the five worlds.

8. S. (23:25) How can I work to bestow myself to my friend but I cannot arrange my friends for myself. How do we come to mutual bestowal in this condition?

R. Don't you worry, the friend is bestowing to you and this is not according to your desire or according to his desire but according to how the Creator is calibrated and aiming him, this is how he is bestowing to you. We have to understand and take into account that whatever we do in order to connect in the center of the ten and to find there the connection between us that exists in advance. This connection exists in advance however we are searching for it and it is actually searching for the Creator. This is the source. And as much as we try to reach that, where is that part of the 10? It has to be this way. This is how nature is built. So according to that, we gradually reach, detecting, locating this state, this place. A place is a desire, a common desire between us. This is how we detect, we locate the Kli in which later on the Creator is revealed as inner light inside of this vessel.

9. S. (25:16) We are learning the intention so we'll be able to enter the study of TES but in the last 11 years, there is a book of Baal HaSulam that is called Beit Shaar HaKavanot, The House of the Gate of Intentions. We've barely touched it all these years. I want to know why?

R. In truth, we hardly studied this book with Rabash. I learned with him, just me and him. In this book, there is nothing special. It is called Beit Shaar HaKavanot, The House of the Gate of Intentions because Baal HaSulam wanted to write an introduction to the prayer book, the Siddur (?). The way a person turns to the Creator, this Siddur, the prayer book, itself, he didn't write it. And the introduction to the prayer book he wrote as this book, The House of the Gate of Intention. When he was in England, he sat there and he wrote this book. They actually paid him -- that's why he wrote it not just for the money -- but rather there was an opportunity for him to sit and write. Because he was paid for the writing of this prayer book but as for the prayer book itself, he realized after he wrote his book that he cannot write it, that it will be in contradiction to many other prayer books that were written before. He let go of this and what we have left is only this book. The Gatehouse of Intentions. We will study it, it's not a difficult book. It's actually very pleasant to read and we can have a lesson about it, yes, I'm not against it. I'm not against any of this but the most important thing for us is we will only establish the intention for the study in the right way, then the study will bear fruit for us. Because a study without the intention is just dead. it won't bring us the result that we will discover the Creator and connect with Him.

10. S. (28:10) Please say whether the intention can be in order to bestow in still vegetative and animate?

R. Yes, when you are going to use the world in its degrees of still vegetative and animate it is all in order to fulfill, to sustain your body because you use the still, vegetative, and animate in order to give your body which is on the animate level exist, to live. Then you can also do that with the intention to where you are reviving your body in order to be on the degree of Adam on the higher degree in order to bestow to others, to bestow to others and through them to the Creator.

S. Is there a necessity all together for external actions or can we only be in intentions?

R. Until we reach true spiritual actions we cannot be without physical actions, how will we give and take from one another? How will we understand one another, all of our actions will be in order to receive? In order for us to organize our relations in order to bestow, we need to first of all start with actions that are in order to bestow, that's how we get organized in the group and in the group, I already need to work with restrictions over my will to receive. Look at the little children, they don't want to play with the other. They don't understand what it means to play with the other until the age of two let’s say, this is how a human being learns. Later on, they start to see that it's possible to play with the other and out of this play they can actually get greater pleasure than from playing by themselves. This is how we develop and therefore on the degree of the still, vegetative, and animate in mutual bestowal to one another, we learn how to enter this world of bestowal. This is why it says, go make a living out of each other. What does it mean to go make a living out of each other? That we will feel the need and this is how the Creator created this world for us to feel the need, that we need one another. In primitive societies, thousands of years ago each and every family live by itself and it didn't need to connect with the other families and later on as mankind developed each one started having a different profession, one is a tailor, the other one is a carpenter, a shoemaker one is a baker and the other one is a doctor. People understood in such a form that it's worthwhile for them to be an expert in one thing and by this they can serve each other even from the side of our ego, it's worthwhile for us to do so and in such a way we build our society. The Reshimot, the records we have from the shattering came from a single vessel. When they unfolded it became revealed after the shattering, as they actually forced us to build a society that is more interconnected to one another and this is how we develop. This is on the physical level and the continuation of this physical development is that we reach the spiritual development there, science developed, psychology, medicine, and all kinds of things. Later on, we already begin to demand more than that. We start searching for the upper force. That's a different conversation altogether, quite complex but we will reach it.

S. A person who came to a spiritual degree, the first one, will it be enough for him to lay on his couch and remain in some intention in a request without carrying out external actions whatsoever?

R. In principle yes, however we are at the last stage of Adam HaRishon where everyone eventually will need to connect in tens from ten to ten, ten to one hundred, from hundreds to thousands and thousands to billions and in such a way we will finish the correction. This connection from tens, hundreds, thousands, etc., needs to be physical to some extent. That is, between us between Bnei Baruch and then around the whole of humanity will already be able to connect in a more virtual manner. We will see how it will become organized. Soon you will see it in practice how it becomes this way. Humanity is advancing towards that. We don't need places of work for everyone anymore, we do not need to get a paycheck like before, for our work. We are going to see the changes that will happen, great changes in human society. It is not in order to arrange a new human society for us but rather in order to arrange for us the corrections that need to take place in the general vessel of Adam HaRishon towards the end of correction, it's a very interesting process and you will start to see it happening at the depth of creation. It is truly a Hollywood film, really something special, the Creator is arranging for us a very beautiful adventure.

11. S. (35:39) It intrigues me, what is the exact turning point where actions turn into intentions?

R. This is what I started talking about now in the beginning of the lesson, that if I can imagine to myself the spiritual center of the group where our hearts are connected, that is our intentions. I want to reach the center of the 10 and incorporate there. It is like the story of Rabbi Yossi ben Kisma, even though he was with weak, silly students such that those who really don't understand anything and it didn't matter because for him this was where he was incorporated in where he could reach contact with the Creator. Without that place, without connection with the hearts of his students, he could not reach it, this is all of his work. That's why he says, how can I leave my students and go to a different town, even if they pay me there, it doesn't matter how much, I can’t because here is my spiritual vessel, so how can I replace a spiritual vessel with sacks of gold? This is what we need to relate in such a way to the center of the 10. That it doesn't matter if I look at the friends, they do not even see what I'm talking about. However, I need to try in such a way to locate this spiritual place where the points of our hearts exist. It is as we learned about it in the article free choice, The Freedom or the Arvut, the Mutual Guarantee that the Creator brings a person to the good fate and he says take that, this is yours. A person needs to grow stronger and incorporate in that place and it takes years upon years until one truly starts to feel that this place exists. This place is in the air, it is spiritual, it is not physical and there to begin with the hearts his friends exist and they themselves don't even know about it just like Rabbi Yossi ben Kisma, as his students did not know what he was thinking about, what he was talking about. However, this is how it works because it already stems from the source of creation from the shattering of Adam HaRishon.

12. S. (39:12) You said to search for the correct action outside our heart, why not search it in our heart?

R. I don't know what I talked about, that you're asking in such a way, please explain, what did I say that you're asking about in such a way, actions outside of our heart, did I say that?

S. I heard to seek the common heart.

R. With my heart in the center of my desires with my innermost desire, I search for where is the center of the connection of the intentions of the group. I don't look at the friends externally. I want to detect this thing, that it exists because the Creator brought me here and says take that and he put my hand on this good fate, in order for me to find it, in order for me to take it in order for me to adhere here to it, to that place, that concept. This is what I need to find, this is what I meant.

13. S. (40:56) Intention is it a choice of a person or does it come from above? Is it as a result of prayer or the work in the group? Can you say that there is any choice at all in this matter?

R. No there is no choice, there is only choice in strengthening as he says as Baal HaSulam says all of our work is in strengthening that the Creator puts a man’s hand on the good fate and he says take it and he pressures the person so that the person will take it. However, it doesn't do anymore, he can't do any more otherwise there will be no free choice. It is considered free choice because we can add in the direction that the Creator is guiding us, we can add our efforts. It's like you put a baby on two feet to walk and you give him a little bit of a push for him to walk a little bit more and a little bit more so we need to try to walk forward by ourselves. Of course, we fall and we cry and once again the Creator stands us on both feet to go forward and this is how it works, it is exactly like this with the baby.

S. But our free choice is actually to remain in the group to remain in the 10?

R. To strengthen in that, even though I rejected for months maybe even for years, I don't find myself as connected with them but nevertheless I do it out of lack of choice and against my desire and nevertheless I do continue and eventually this is called, a penny and a penny add up to a great amount because this is how the light needs to join, to accumulate all the sparks in order for me to start feeling some action there, the essence of the action. Before that I just do it truly like an animal. I get up for the lesson, I turn on my computer, I listen, I take part in all kinds of actions. It's years, over many years that a person has to do it because we begin to establish my soul on the level of the still, vegetative, animate and then the speaking. So, on the level of the still, it takes many actions and these are actions on the level of the still, just like a universe it developed for billions of years until it was established and geological processes started on the face of the earth and until it came to the still, when the planet earth was established stabilized then it reached the vegetative and then the animate and only then the speaking. We have to go through all of these processes also inside our soul, in positioning our soul in the right way, to recover it, to restore our soul. This is how we advance.

14. S (45:08). Which mutuality can we expect from the friends in establishing our intention? What is the reciprocity in this work?

R. What is mutual is that each of us seeks the spiritual center of the 10 within the center, we need to start and the Creator said search for it. He put my hand on the good fate so I will search and be incorporated in that spiritual center of the 10, that's the one heart as we call it and one intention. I am drawn to that as much as I can, as much as I press myself to be drawn to this, as much as I think about this more and more I come closer to this even though I don't want to, I do it. They say that the best action is for you to start writing, take a piece of paper, that you need to come to the center of the 10 to the heart of the 10 to the internal central point of the 10. Start like that, where in such a way you are constantly, constantly driving yourself, helping yourself with such a thing. Habit becomes second nature, all of a sudden you start to feel that you're close to this thought, you are ready for it somewhat, you're willing to do it to feel it eventually. We are starting from the degree of still, vegetative, animate and the degree of speaking the spiritual one is built in many of those recurring actions that happen. How does a person grow, from what actions, how does the actions of a computer, those wise actions of the computer take place, a 0 and a 1 and only those actions between them, there's no more than that. In the foundation of all of our actions there are things that are just light and vessel. Some leaping spark.

15. S. (47:44) In which film are we living, is this the reality this film?

R. The real reality is above your movie, the movie you're in is in your head and it seems to you that you're living in that movie, that there's a real world around you and a lot of people and something's happening to them. That's the film you're living in, spirituality is no longer in that movie, spirituality is the world of Truth, whereas it’s the force of the Creator which you obtained and live in, and in this force, you discover that this is the true eternal reality above time, motion and space above all these limitations we have in this world and that's something different. It is only force.

S. Who's the director of my film?

R. Your ego is now sorting out your movie, it is directing your movie. This is why we need to come out of this movie and enter into the world of truth. Why is it called the truth? Because that's where you will feel what true actions are, the forces in nature all together which is the force of bestowal against the force of reception. Because otherwise we will not see or feel ourselves existing, only the difference between those two forces, only difference and then joining together, will we feel the Creator, the source of reality. As much as we can join two contradictive forces, this is how we would reveal him in a more complete manner, until we become adhered to him. What does it mean to truly be adhered to him in a complete way, I cannot tell you. I am not there yet, we are in a generation that must reach it.

16. S. (50:24) Is this actually the point of Bina where we only want to bestow in our intention?

R. I can't explain about that now, yet because I'm afraid I will confuse people and I don't understand why the point of Bina that you would call it that way, will give you more discernment then what we are saying is our common heart of the group. The spiritual source of ours, which to start with the whole ten comes from there and we need to return to there.

S. What's confusing is that we always speak as if we want to be as one man with one heart so what does one man refer to then?

R. That's how we say it. It is a verse you say, how should we say, it is a sentence of sorts as, One Man with One Heart where we can depict it in such a way so it will be understood to everyone just like the heart of a person as if the heart of a person operates the person, this is how we want to be in one heart and some mechanism that will operate all of us as one mechanism so we will all feel that we all belong to him and he's activating us all of us.

17. S. (52:12) Are there any actions in our world that are clothed in the intention to bestow and like the Masser?

R. No. All these things we do only in order to advance toward spirituality but nevertheless in the intention there is still in order to receive, that I benefit from them and I need to replace here the profit I have meaning that I truly earned spiritually by giving. There are not too many actions in this world that we can do and from that receive a spiritual benefit, we cannot. Let's say I did actions towards Rabash, so I changed my car in order to drive him around. Well of course I paid for the gas and all kinds of things. I wanted it as much as possible to invest, of course it was still from my physical desire to be rewarded and succeed in advance and spirituality, it wasn't in order to bestow, truly, but it nevertheless was in order to reach spirituality. The way I depict it was in a false way, that I will have something from it and then for it to invert to such a desire that I want to come to spiritual actions where I will be able to bestow and it will truly be bestowal and though I won't be able to now, but I am paying in order to come to such a quality of action.

S. This is partially connected to what you said once that we already are in the intention but in the meantime, it is hidden from us but it is like some kind of potion?

R. It is for myself so that I can perform actions you see, because you're not aware of the system, you don't know where it leads you to. Why do we have to have work in the 10 so you're completely disconnected from the council's and advice of the Kabbalists. That is what your intellect is leading you to, do you understand what you're coming to? Just look what happens behind that. Behind that you leave us, and you go to your life, you all of your philosophy.

18. S. (55:28) What are the vessels or the tools we use in order to correct the intention? Can this happen out of our effort or thought?

R. We have records of the shattering from Adam HaRishon and these records that are in each and every one of us, pushes the desires of each and every one to come to the same form as we were in Adam HaRishon. However, on the way to return to that same form we need now after the shattering to acquire a screen. Meaning an anti-egoistic force that will help us connect above our egos, where we were connected in Adam HaRishon through the force of the Creator. We need that same force of distancing between us to be changed into a force of unification and connection between us, meaning change the coarseness to refinement. through the work in exertion in acquiring a screen, reflected light and connection above our ego. Then we come to a state in which we place the force of connection we have and build the spiritual world above this physical world, two worlds and this is how we built this against that.

19. S. (58:20) How does a common intention form in the 10 and how do we keep this constantly?

R. A common intention in the 10 is built slowly, slowly by connections between us that we try to go above all the differences and see how we too, although only each of us feels only himself but to the extent of somehow we come closer to states that we learn what the system is, that we're all connected to one another is and although it's very difficult for us it will take a long time, maybe more until we feel that we are in a connection between us in one heart. However, it is a must that it will happen especially as we are in the last generation. And there will be many more efforts and disputes and many people that will despair and leave all together. Eventually we will discover ourselves wanting to advance. That specifically there in the center of the connection between us, that is where the Creator is and he is concealed from us behind our desires, where if we cancel our private desires and want to connect together to that same point then we reveal him and he says how much longer do I have to wait for you, to receive you and then he receives us. That's what stands before us.

20. S. (01:01:00) We connected together with Hebrew 10 since we need to have a preparation for on Friday and it's about how do we build the intention we tried to connect in order to put together the message and give it to the whole world Kli and we really felt inner resistance it is like a block a barrier between us, and we could not break the shell of the ego even though we realized?

R. What is the question asked with a short sentence?

S. Overcome the ego that is separating between us in order to build an intention to bestow for the world Kli?

R. By the importance of the connection between you.

S. You explained that we need to invert all of these processes of the still, vegetative and animate because this is the natural phenomenon but we are the generations?

R. We have been through still, vegetative, and animate and now what's before us is only the last generation and intention between us that is without the proper sharing between us, we will not survive this is what nature is teaching us for the time being. We will not survive if we don't start to connect in a way that each is not in a technical connection with one another like still, vegetative and animal but on the degree of where we need to be in connection with others.
