Baal HaSulam - Concerning the Vitality of Kedusha

1. Rav’s Introduction: Yes, we realize already that our spiritual foundation, the foundation of our spiritual advancement are the Shamati articles. That indeed it was a wonder why Rabash didn't publicize it even among his students he didn't publicize it. That this great spiritual treasure he didn't want to. We can see what the Shamati articles are and how much we should respect this treasure that we received from Rabash. Here Baal HaSulam through Rabash concentrated all of the spiritual work man's attitude which we need to install such relations between us and to the Creator that only that leads us directly to the purpose of creation. Therefore, each and every article we should try to work on it truly like with a book at the university, with a pencil or a pen, to print it and to go over it word by word and see how it is possible to understand the text better. Maybe arrange different words so it will be closer, more clear for the time being, later on it will change many times but nevertheless to make it closer to you make it easier, more smooth so that it will enter the hearts and later on it will enter into the heart. That is the work with these articles. Today we have Shamati 36. What are the three bodies in man. This article says that the most important thing in our efforts, as we want to discover the Creator, to get closer to Him, so we have to peel ourselves off, to tear ourselves off all of the thoughts; anything other than the group and the Creator. The group is that vessel where we discover the Creator, therefore they cannot be separate, they have to be together one inside the other. That the group is the clothing and the Creator is the filling that fills this vessel, this clothing. This is what we have to think about all the time. As much as each one of us clings to the group and through it to the Creator, who dwells inside of the group, a priority in advance on his side, this is how it is, then we are on the right path. And if we disconnect from that, then immediately we fall to evil, to disconnection, to the dirt, the evil inclination, the Klipa, the shell, it doesn't matter how you call it. Therefore, these two states we need to try to depict them to ourselves. It's either Kedusha sanctity through the group to the Creator, or the Klipot, the shell which is any other state.

Reader: (05:00) Excerpt from Shamati 36. What are the Three bodies in a Man. “man is made of 3 bodies... “

2. R. (06:12) This exists inside of the group and this is what we should think about all the time, about the vessel which is the group and the Creator who is the fulfillment who is there, however He is concealed from us. To the extent that we discover the group in its complete form as a vessel, then we get closer to the Creator who exists in it.

Reader continues: (06:37) “Meaning There is none else besides Him…”

R. (06:55) That is these three elements we should pay attention to them. What does he say here that you should always remain in a singular authority. 1, that there's none else besides Him. 2, that he does and will do all the deeds. 3, that there's no creation or created being in the world that can separate one from the Kedusha. Everything depends on us, there are no obstructions. All the obstructions are in us, and we need to see Him in a way that there is none else besides Him only inside of our vessel, and he does all the deeds. The disturbances also and he pulls us. It's all Him.

Reader continues: (07:38) “and because he does not think of those two bodies…”

3. R. (07:54) Meaning the less we think about the shell of Noga and the serpent's skin, meaning there is something other than there is, none else besides Him, that resides in the group as much as we ascribe to all kinds of other sources, some power that determines and manages life and the world, by that we disconnect the shells from the source because everything passes through us, we are connected to the Creator. Everything depends on how much I think less about the external things that seemingly they had in them some ability to manage the world, to manage my life. But rather I subscribe everything through the group to the Creator. If I want to be under such a form of bestowal, then I disconnect all the shells from their nourishment, and by that I put them to death. My whole ego starts to be truly, it starts to come down, come down in its importance and in its ability to manage me, to influence me.

Reader continues: (09:26) “since the thoughts we think of them are their provision…”

4. R. (10:00) Right, there was no disconnection between the will to receive and the light. The Creator existed inside of creation which He created.

Reader continues: (10:06) “however after the sin…”

5. R. (10:16) You can say the serpent's skin so they'll get used to it, both this and that.

Reader continues: (10:24) “however after the sin….”

6. R. (10:58) Yes this is something that is not so simple. Why on the way to sanctity to the revelation of the Creator, to adhesion to the Creator to the whole of creation, we have to nourish the shells, what's in them. But on the other hand, we need to understand that the Creator deliberately made it so. He made the shattering, and in that shattering, in the broken vessels there is a mixture between the will to receive and the will to bestow. As much as we work in order to sort what is the Klipa and what is the Kedusha, sanctity, and how we can extract the Kedusha from the Klipa, by that we actually grow and we become more and more understanding, wise, understanding what the Creator did, why he made creation be composed of light and darkness, the will to receive and the will to bestow, and why do we have to sort these two things, scrutinize them in our whole life. We are in searches and disappointments and paired with this specifically through all of these frictions that we have. Between bestowal and reception, between light and darkness, we can extract sparks from there.

That is, specifically the results of that. That it doesn't exist in the light or in the darkness, there is nothing for us but only out of us, it is like we strike one stone on another and sparks emerge from that, specifically they fill us and they give us and let us understand they give us, such upper sparks from the matter by which we can get to know the Creator. That in the created being there is nothing by which he can get to know their Creator by simply approaching Him and getting to know Him, understanding Him, feeling Him, there is nothing. Rather specifically through these frictions whereby the sparks emerge, by them like a spark in darkness we can start to understand the way that the Creator had prepared for us and that specifically by that, through this way through these sparks, when we exist in all kinds of states where we don't understand anything.

It's truly darkness and then suddenly there's a spark and another spark and in that way, we begin to get to know the Creator. We perform a few when we create a few such sparks when we make it so when we go over that, then we begin to get a feeling of how to get to know the Creator and his actions. We'll find additional words for it but specifically it is through the scrutinies that we get to form our vessel for spirituality. Because to begin with, we have nothing but the beastly will to receive and the point in the heart, that we want something but what is that we want.

Reader continues: (15:25) “thus one must try with all….”

7. R. (15:56) Yes, we need to realize that the shell is creation. On its own which the Creator had created as it says I created the evil inclination and we cannot exist without it and if so then it also needs power in order to exist and the power to exist can only come from the Creator. How will it get it if it is the opposite of the Creator and it is in infinite distance from Him without any connection so that connection is us. That connection is us so then it turns out that the shell has a hold on us in order for us to give it a connection with the Creator and we need with our intellect with our emotion through scrutinies we need to give it a little bit as it is called, my last waters all kinds of other signs and symbols that we have. That we should leave something for it also for it to exist because without it we would not be able to reach the end of correction also because if this shell awakens in us from the other side, all kinds of disturbance from the other side, where is the good where is the bad and then if we relate to it in a matter-of-fact approach, in a way that we want to build a structure out of it.

Then we should understand in everything there are sides that are for and against and so we have to use this structure correctly. Like we talked yesterday in the article, that he swallowed up the riches and threw them up. That and all of our actions as much as we seemingly fail in them however, they also enter the ocean, the sea of the Sitra Achra, the other side and it guards them and later on we get them back. Just like the vessel the cup with which the person enters the treasury and he takes out of there and every time they pour out, everything that we bring out but later on we get all of it back. Later on, it gives us everything back that we had collected. It's the same thing here and so we must realize that this whole form of the Sitra Achra other side, there is a need for it to exist. We cannot do without it however it also requires some nourishment. It's not that we demand it for her for the Klipa but by that we gradually limit this desire, limit its nourishment so much so that eventually it disappears it dies.

However, this is a great work that with every step along the way as we rise in spirituality until the end of correction, we need to understand also that we cannot get rid of this serpent and it will become more and more ruthless because one who is greater than his friend his inclination is greater. In this way we will advance stage after stage, we just need to relate to these things, all of these things with understanding. In a form that is like the stories of Egypt that we are told that you have to catch the serpent by its tail and not by its head. Just like people who catch serpents, they catch the serpent by its tail and then to see how you can work with it, how you can get along with it, we will talk more about it. In short all of our work is that we gradually take command over the nourishment of the serpent. We diminish and diminish what we give it until we put it to death by that.

Reader continues: (21:18) “Then one must think only of the inner body….”

8. R. (21:57) Yes, that is we should try the thoughts, you see that everything is clarified by the thought. This sentence we already talked about it many times, everything is clarified by the thought. That our problem is our thoughts, the reflections that we have doubts to do it this way or that way, maybe not, to do it, I want, I don't want, maybe it's worthwhile, maybe it's not worthwhile. Go to the meeting with the friends, turn on the computer, read something, do something that pertains to the correction of the soul. In between all of these things we constantly exist. It seems to us that this is because of our weakness. It seems to us that this is our character and that others don't have these doubts. That they are stronger, that they do not get confused but this is incorrect. It is all the time all the time it exists in each and every one and we are not able to get rid of it until the end of correction.

Always over all of the smallest and seemingly simplest things we will nevertheless have doubts, should we do it or not do it, keep it or not keep it and this is along the entire way. We have to realize that if we have more of these doubts, by this we are feeding the shell and it loves it and it brings us into all of these doubts. What we do have to do is as it says, strike its teeth, blunt its teeth. That we need to as quickly as possible do what is required without thinking because if we think from that specifically that shell grow stronger. This is how we nourish it and this is why the most important thing is without thinking, without getting into arguments because that always makes us weaker. But rather to just go with breaking its teeth as we call it. Let's mind, less emotion just deeds. This is what we have and therefore as it says here, we have here those three things right that there's none else besides Him, He does and will do all of the deeds and there's no created beings in the world that can separate him from sanctity, this is from the very beginning of the article that were reading. So, we want to disconnect from the other two bodies. The shell, the Klipa of Noga, and the serpent skin and just be connected to the inner body which is the clothing for the soul of sanctity. So, then I discover this soul.

9. S. (25:25) How can we minimize the nourishment of the other side if the serpent only grow stronger, demanding more and more?

R. Of course all of the doubts will become greater, the thoughts we will have more of them, our strength will be lesser. This is how it will seem to us and we have no choice but only to connect more with one another, from within ourselves we will never be able to get the force to overcome. Never because we don't have it simply. But rather only one shall help his friend. This is what we can do. If we connect between us then each one can pass on to the other whatever he has and it is arranged in this way from the system itself. The system of Adam HaRishon, so that it will always be enough for us if we connect, we are able to rise above all the doubts and troubles.

10. S. (26:53) I was wondering that the Klipa, shell is it like the middle third of Tifferet that it is why it is even…?

R. No let’s not get into that. I don't want to hear such things. It’s as if you know what is the middle third of Tifferet. We don't want to get confused with anything but to learn what it says here the way it is written here. I recommend to you, do not get into all kinds of other scrutinies, don't get in there.

S. The fact that it's worse to think about the crime than to be in the crime or in the snake is it because when I am in between is because I'm also connected to sanctity and this is what nourishes the snake?

R. The fact that you think so then in your thoughts you have all kinds of fantasies. By that you are feeding the shell. Whereas if you do something which is not good, it is egoistic, it's harming others, it's harming the group, then by that, while you did it, you're done with it and later on you realize that you didn't act correctly and you regret it. That is the thoughts against bestowing, against the group against the Creator, they can be a lot worse and more desirable for our ego, the shell Klipa, than the deeds, the thoughts are the greatest problem. Therefore, if there are certain thoughts immediately start doing the opposite deeds.

S. Once I fall in the Klipa, on the other side, it does nothing to nourish itself anymore? When I'm falling into the Klipa, it does nothing to nourish itself anymore because it had played a role it wanted me to fall from my degree and now it doesn't have any sanctity to suck from?

R. If I think about the shell, about all these thoughts about myself eventually then by that I nourish it, it starts to grow. Then from time and again it grows more and more until it grips hold of me and I feel that I do not belong at all to the method of correction.

11. S. (31:50) You said that we should always leave a little something for the shell?

R. That's not for us yet. This is already when we are going for receiving in order to bestow in such degrees above Bina. From Bina to Keter above the second restriction, then our work should be also in that, we will be concerned about nourishing the shell, this is called the last waters. Where the hair of the Tefillin or such things, these are such great things, it's not for us yet. There are these things as well. That is when we start to be partners of the Creator in creation so much so that seemingly we understand and we start to understand and feel, what the shell exists for and how we need not only to distance ourselves from this bad animal but also to give it some food. Because we can see how beneficial it is and how much we ourselves needed in order for it to hold us. In fear, In all kinds of correct relations towards the quality of reception yes.

12. S. (33:47) You said we should not think about it because it's a shell, it weakens us, on the other hand everything gets clarified in the thought, when should we think and when should we act without thinking?

R. This depends on the degree a person is in, the state a person is in. That gradually we begin to learn how the shell is built all opposite the sanctity so that the two of them are one opposite the other, as it says God, we made one opposite the other, so that we can use both this and that in order to advance correctly forward. So that we cannot advance without the shell and each time as we advance, the usage of the sanctity and usage of the shell, become more complex. We will learn that but this is how it works, the Klipa is not that we just take it and cut it off and throw it away and don't want to remember about it, no. It's a part of creation that always exists with us and we are constantly learn better and better how we can advance specifically through it.

13. S. (35:18) You just said that we need to feed the shell, what does it mean that we have to go down towards the will to receive for ourselves?

R. Right as of now, we don't give any food to the shell yet, it's not on our degree. To give food to the Klipa means we're already in connection with the Creator and we understand the role of the Klipa and the role of the sanctity. We're able to be in between the two of them and therefore we also have to maintain the two of them and how we advance between the two of them in the middle of line, this is still not for us. I talked about it and you only hear half of the sentence.

14. S. (36:20) For example I will distribute and while I think about it, I find many things to swallow my pride, how can I match that here?

R. I think that it's not worthwhile for you to think about your thoughts. But rather to incorporate with the people that you want to disseminate to. Pass onto them everything that you want to pass on in a way that is as pretty as possible, as good as possible, as accessible as possible. So that they will accept it and be impressed by it and following all of these things it will be possible to also talk about your internal scrutiny.

15. S. (37:34) No translation from Spanish

R. We need to learn how to work with the other side. Since in the beginning we have to push it away from us as much as possible. Because we don't know how to work with it. It's like we teach little children don't touch this, stay away from that, this is not allowed. We remove them from all the things that may harm them and then later gradually we teach them how to work with the fire and with electricity. All kinds of heavy things that can fall on them. To the extent that we develop, we take all the seemingly harmful forces that we use them when we need them correctly, that's what we slowly do. So, the main idea here is he's swallowed everything and then he will vomit it out. We push all those things that belong to the other side, to the shell, to our egoistic desire, we push it to the side, we don't want to be connected to it, we only want to be connected to the force of connection, love and bestowing only to the good things. Just like we educate a baby you only give it good things, we don't want to introduce anything else. Later when he grows up and as a result, he can now comprehend that there are bad things harmful things. We gradually begin to teach him from the other side as well. So on and so forth the same as in spirituality.

16. S. (40:08) ….

R. Measure, that's something.

S. What does it mean that in that connection I nourish thoughts about the shell?

R. Not to use it but to be connected to the 10 is good. From there if there's a path to the correction.

17. S. (40:47) In trying to cancel out and not give attention to the two sides, the two bodies that we don't want to influence us and only think about the one body. Our root, our soul that is inside of us the more we try, the more the other two start in each ear, going and going, how do you get past that?

R. You simply try to cleave on to the force of bestowal, and in no other way to the serpent, the will to receive. That's a shell, that is skin, that's it.

18. S. (41:58) How do we work between these two opposite directions?

R. Simply don't think about anything but the group and the Creator. Don't be tied to scrutiny inside the serpent you should be connected to scrutinize about you and the Creator that's it.

19. S. (42:43) What does it mean, the law of the first restriction a person has to constantly draw nourishment for spirituality? I'm asking what is the perimeter of spirituality, what are its bounds?

R. The boundary of spirituality is where I receive vitality from what I need to sustain myself and I'm sustained only in order to keep thoughts of adhesion, that's it. What's my clear here

S. Is there a level from which a person does not come down as we learn about the first restriction, is there a level a limit from which a person does not come down from?

R. As much as a person needs in order to hold onto thoughts of adhesion.

20. S. (43:44) How can my friends tell that I was caught by the other side, do I need to tell the friends or one friend?

R. You don't need to say it to anyone, it is your personal business. If you have thoughts that are not about the adhesion with the friends and with the Creator that means that you are under the control of the other side. But this is the state where all of us more or less spend a lot of time during the day. Hence, we need to try as much as possible to get back to the connection, the thoughts about the connection, the group, the Creator and what to do there in order to reinforce that connection. That's the only thing that brings us to the goal.

21. S. (45:14) Many times the thoughts come so quickly. Some good not so good about the friends is there do I need to control these thoughts?

R. Yes you can stop those thoughts, you can redirect them. If you take a book or something and you begin to direct yourself according to what is written there. This way you stop the mess in your head and you give it a certain direction or places to float to.

22. S. (46:05) What does the shell mean, is it me, all that I am?

R. It is not your flesh, it's not the world. Only your thoughts that are about anything that are not about the purpose of creation, this is a shell. Meaning other than the connection with the friends and the Creator and being aimed at the point of connection between you, other than that everything is a shell.

S. So it's my whole life?

R. It depends on what you're thinking about, you can't just say about the table, the house, the air, that it's a shell, no. You can’t say about a piece of work of music, a book that it's a shell, rather it's how you relate to it, if it disconnects you from the adhesion with friends and the Creator which is your direction to the goal, the purpose of your life. Anything that doesn't help you attain the purpose of life is called a shell. Meaning it exists in your desire and in your thought, the shell, if you give it room.

S. In moments of doubt, how do I determine what is a shell or not?

R. You don't have to poke around but just to reinforce it, immediately move things to the other side, think of the connection, think of the Creator, read an article, hear one of our songs. As little as possible to spend time in the scrutinies about the shell. It is filled by those things, it derives pleasure from those things.

S. Following what you said before and now to be less in scrutinies and just act in this article is talking all the time about our thoughts to think and think?

R. The thought and the desire are the same, everything will be clarified in thought but it's not that we are in this struggle and we scrutinize. We have no way of correctly scrutinizing it, from the very beginning we are inside the shell, so it's not a good idea. It's best for us to maintain our connection to Holiness. The person, the group, the Creator, that's it's so simple and all the things that jump into our head or heart together with that picture we take when we remove them, we don't want to be connected to them. Otherwise, you simply fulfill the shell, you nourish it, you feel it, you feed it and it becomes stronger.

23. S. (49:59) What does it mean to catch the snake by the tail?

R. See the kind of questions the women ask, how to grab the snake by the tail? We can’t grab it by the head, we have to grab it by the tail. In truth, I don't have an answer at the moment, we will have to learn about it from an article on, what do you call it, on the Passover article that Moses. It's not simple, thank you for the question. Unable to scrutinize at right now.

Reader: Letter 10 by Baal HaSulam.

24. S. (51:14) If we think and have sorrow about people outside the group are those thoughts of Klipot?

R. I don't know what to tell you here as well. The most correct is to think how we connect people to the group and from the connection between us, we connect all of us to the Creator. That's the most correct line of thinking. Now people who are outside of the group, it's the whole world for example or are we talking about people who were part of the group and left it. I don't know how much we should invest in them, we should invest a little bit to perhaps pull them back in, but we need to do it no more than twice. We learned about it from those analogies about the donkey that falls under its burden. You have to hold it up and put the burden back on it and if it falls again, do it again. Meaning if it leaves the group again, help it again but no more than twice, if a person leaves the group more than twice, we don't take care of him, we don't consider him as part of the group.

25. S. (52:45) How do our thoughts about one another influence, the shell and the sanctity?

R. Our prayers are the most powerful force. Since with our prayers we can correct everything, everything. The Creator created the shell and we can overcome what he created and even turn this shell into holiness and it's all through the changing of the relationship between us. By discovering that all the bad things are in the connection between us they don't come from anywhere else. There is no bad world, the bad exists between people. Even from this bad attitude between people, we project this bad, this evil on the degrees that are lower than people to still vegetative and animate. That's why we begin to see in this world so many negative phenomena. Even the nature around us everything depends on the relationship between people and only the correction of people.

26. S. (54:25) Why we must toil for bread, why is that considered a big correction?

R. The sweat of your face you shall eat bread is a correction because I try to correct myself, I correct my will to receive. I gradually move things from it to the will to bestow. Because how can I see all my negative attitudes towards the friends? What I used to identify before today I see it's not so bad, it's actually good. I discover my attitude toward the friends instead of negative relationships, as positive relationships. This way I feel that I am improving, not the friends are improving, I'm not waiting for that to happen. I want to see that I am improving relative to them. This is called love that covers all transgressions. I don't think that they will become better people. It's like with our babies, we love them with all the negative qualities, let's say what others notice in them and we do not notice that. Why because they are ours, we love them, this is called love covers all transgression and we need to see in the relationship between us. That's why I need to try and see in all of my friends, only good. Together with that, I can look at them with a critical eye and say a thousand things like a whole list of negative traits. But I don't see it as bad or negative, I see it as good.

This way we already are beginning to build a Partzuf where we have the will to receive with the coarseness and I hate the friends. I push them, I reject them, I don't want them, I can't stand what is in them. More and more and more. Together with that love covers all transgressions above it. I love them, I am aware of it, I look at it and I'm aware of it. I love them because we are together on the path and the Creator wants us to reveal him together and to cleave on to him. The fact that we are opposite to him will be able to reveal the Creator but the Creator clarity with greater force. The more differences we have between us, the more hatred, disturbances, obstructions, in all these oppositions will discover more discernments, negative, positive, but all in all, the scrutiny will be there. That's what we will attain and will be happy about it. It's clear, yes, think about it

27. S. (58:36) How can we control our thoughts if they're always going towards the will to receive?

R. I can't control my thoughts. I allow them to appear in a very measured way. I can rise above them. That's what I do. I don't want my thoughts to flow through me without any protection, without noticing them. I want to look at them, I want to rise above them and that's what I do, I don't let myself, I don't let anything happen, to do things to me by itself.

28. S. (59:56) What is my work in holding the friends to be above the Klipa, shells, how to organize it in the 10?

R. The best thing is to, in order to organize the friends in the 10, is to learn something. Nothing too deep or too long and to talk about how each one tries to rise above himself or herself and to see everyone corrected. Although it is difficult for me, that I managed to overcome myself today and I reached a state where all my friends seem good in my eyes. Everyone is working towards the connection, towards bestowing, I discovered that they all want to help one another. We're moving toward such a state where we connect in such a circle. That the connection between us will bring about the revelation of the Creator and it all depends on us

Reader continues (01:01:5) “and this means…”

29. R. (01:02:40) And this is the question here, what thoughts are we allowing to come up in our head and later in our heart and which we don't. Here we can sort them out and leave those thoughts outside or beyond our skin, beyond or outside our body. Because if we don't let them enter the Klipa, shell, cannot grasp hold of them. That's why all those thoughts that we had, all the doubts we think about yes, no, is it worthwhile or not, we fall into thoughts of that shell and what it brings us or by ourselves we attract such thoughts that are not beneficial to our spiritual advancement. Meaning, we get confused or we do it ourselves, the Creator does it as well, he is playing with us, he's giving us those foreign thoughts, he places us in those foreign thoughts and this is a foreign thought. As we teach the kids what is allowed, what is forbidden, we show them these things, and this is how we need to learn from the Creator's game with us. But we try to be in such a way that all of the foreign thoughts, meaning anything but movement towards connection between us and the Creator, all the rest will be outside of our body. Meaning we will not draw them in and engage with him. Clear?

Reader continues (01:04:59) “when one persists….”

30. R. (01:05:55) Yes, we want to be only inside the connection bestowing sanctity.

Reader continues: (01:06:08) “the wicked however want to work….”

31. R. (01:06:24) Meaning if a person nevertheless wants to work not only in bestowing but to receive something. To feel that he possesses something, this puts him in contact with this snake.

Reader continues: (01:06:48) “then they have this is precisely when they have no clothing…”

32. S. (01:07:10) Is there a difference in the influence between the negative thoughts and the positive thoughts into work?

R. I don't know what you're talking about.

S. Whatever the fact I think good or bad, does it influence me in the work?

R. How do you think that it is not, I don't understand?

S. Where do the thoughts come to us from?

R. From the Creator, everything comes from the Creator but according to what you are doing.

S. So am I doing depends on me or does it depend on the Creator?

R. Both you and the Creator.

S. How can I make the distinction between what's mine and what's the Creator’s?

R. You cannot do it, you are jumping above where you are. You should first think about what we talked about, scrutinize your attitude exactly towards that which is drawing you and from here, try to draw the correct line to your life. Don't leave it and then you can ask if you're falling from it or if you're getting something out of it, that in your current state, you're seemingly without any direction. We need to first arrange ourselves in such a way that we stabilize ourselves, position ourselves from the group to the Creator and we try to have no contact with the snake, with the will to receive. Then if you protect yourself from that, then try at least to some extent a few minutes a day if you succeed and then a few more minutes and then later a few more minutes. When you begin to receive certain tastes, a certain feeling, for how it feels to be disconnected from the will to receive. Accordingly, you'll begin to feel how to some extent you are attaching to the Creator.

33. S. (01:10:10) As we go through an article like this as the world Kli, how will our collective intention help to imprint this into our common vessel?

R. We are connected to the general Kli that general that's so although it is external compared to each friend's personal ten, but actually they influence one another. What we do in the 10 influences the greater 10 which is the Bnei Baruch vessel and all of humanity and vice versa. The thoughts of humanity influence us the general vessel of Bnei Baruch and from there through general Bnei Baruch they influence our personal 10. That's how it works in those circles. It's very important for us to be protected against the external influences and to try to develop such a force of bestowing in us that will be able to extend it from us to the general Bnei Baruch and to humanity at large.

34. S. (01:11:50) We learned the Preface and the system of Kedusha, sanctity, we hardly learned about the system of sanctity.

R. We didn't get to it, we will learn about it the way we learned everything before that and even more.

35. S. (01:12:35) Here in the article it mentions the three bodies, what is the difference between the Klipa, the shell of Noga and the serpent skin?

R. The shell of Noga will learn about it, there is an entire article in Shamati dedicated to it. The shell of Noga is half good, half bad, it's kind of a neutral, seemingly neutral desire. It can be connected to Holiness and connect it to the shell, the form of transition intermediary that exists between the two. We will learn about it and how much, to what extent we can use correctly, the shell of Noga. There are all kinds of scrutinies there but the serpent's skin, it's clear you can't do anything with it, we have to remove it from all you use.

36. S. (01:13:49) How is it possible to engage, to combine correctly, business with the study of Kabbalah?

R. Business is business and Kabbalah studies are Kabbalah studies, just like I told you about Rabash how he had all kinds of jobs together with that at night he would study Kabbalah.
