Part 1:

Rabash. Article No. 19, 1984. You Stand Today, All of You

Reading: Article 19. “The interpreters ask about the words,...”

1. S. (29:07) What I got out of this story here is that only the action is relevant to us and the concealed part is the Creator's job. How can I reach bestowal like this? What is the practical part that we can do?

R. We need to do whatever we can do and this is called, “the practice,” and, “the intention,” comes to us from above.

S. Maybe be more specific. What are these actions we need to do? That you say we need to do, or that he says we need to do? Do them and you can reach bestowal and without intention there won’t be bestowal. And he also talks about the covenant here. How can you make the covenant with the Creator when you're still doing simple actions, not bestowal or anything. How can you reach a covenant?

R. Well, by intending, by thinking about reaching that. That's already something. Already you are aiming yourself.

S. What's the most important action in order to reach that same covenant? And, engage not in just simple actions, but as he says here, to annul one's self, and to work with coercion, this coercion here, what is he talking about here that I coerce myself?

R. That I want to connect with others.

S. That's called coercion?

R. Certainly. Do you have a desire to bow down before the others?

S. Truly, not really.

R. That's it and you will need it.

S. And who can help you reach that then?

R. The Creator.

S. And, the friends?

R. The friends also but the Creator starts it.

2. S. (31:52) He describes the state in the beginning that we feel like there will never be a descent and suddenly you descend into a great abyss and we have no forces anymore. So what I want to ask about is these states where we have a fall. And specifically an example to this, that if we do some action in bestowal it is because we have no forces?

R. Yes.

S. And he intends here that the actions of coercion that we do, these actions of coercion are very difficult for us to do in these states right?

R. We can't. We do whatever we're capable of in the direction of bestowal, of connection, and the Creator carries out the action.

S. So these states of descent are an example, we can see an example in them of what it is to bestow, they truly have no forces to receive?

R. Yes.

3. S. (32:58) He describes here some technique that people love one another and then they make a covenant for the future for when the love is weakened so they seemingly reawaken the love they had once before and use it for the future. I didn't get this part, how to do this practically. How can you awaken something that has shut off and light it up again by the covenant to keep going?

R. It comes from the Creator after we make a covenant with him.

S. How can we do that in the ten?

R. Between you, you cannot do it. Well you can do it between you with the Creator, but not alone.

S. So to ask to reawaken what is to shut off, to remember it?

R. You don't need to remember it, you just need to draw the friends to connection, and also with the Creator, and the Creator seemingly is the one who keeps the connection.

S. And where is the covenant with the Creator?

R. Exactly, he's the keeper of the covenant.

S. I want to continue this question. Let's say now we are in a state where we feel some connection. Let’s say we remember this advice here, and we say let’s make a covenant now. This is when we feel connection?

R. Yes of course, we make a covenant when we feel that we are able to arrange it, to make a covenant.

S. So he writes here about that we have to insert something into the future, which means our next state, so we have more will to receive. How do we insert something into the future?

R. It's only for the one who has control over the future, who is the Creator.

S. So in the future we will reach some point where we will have to ask for the Creator to help us and to raise us above the new will to receive?

R. Right now you need to ask the Creator about it, for that point. How do you say that in the future I will reach that? How do you right now exist by your own force?

S. Exactly. We've reached the state of connection now because we asked, we got forces, so now we're in some height like this. And we know that soon the next step will be a greater will to receive, and we will feel separation instead of connection. And then we'll have to ask again the additional force to rise over the will to receive?

R. Let's say that it is so.

S. It’s okay because sometimes when we reach it, that same point, when we reach it we feel that we don't have the power to ask, and we can't ask. Is that because we didn't make a covenant?

R. Apparently.

S. So that's what I'm asking, how do we make this covenant then? How do we do it so we can reach the same point and we'll be able to ask and receive forces?

R. I need connection with the friends, and then from the connection with them, I'm able to connect with the Creator, and ask of the Creator, also to have a covenant, and then we reach a complete society.

S. In the present state?

R. Yes, it's always like that.

S. Okay and then let me ask from the other direction when the next day comes, the state of separation, and we did make it covenant, let's say, does the covenant exist only in knowledge? Just the knowledge that this is a state that comes from the Creator and now we have to ask? Because the forces that come pressing against come from the Creator, what does this covenant give us in the next state?

R. The covenant gives us a point towards which we measure ourselves – what did we fall from? And this is how we can advance. We will have the feeling of evil, of bad.

S. Okay, so we feel a lower state than before and then from this state we understand that we have to rise?

R. Yes.

S. To ask to receive forces?

R. Yes, maybe.

S. Okay, so in the state sometimes we feel that we just, we keep going lower from it and sometimes we do succeed in turning it into an ascent. What does it depend on?

R. It depends on us. Is it a descent for the sake of ascent or is it just a descent on its own.

S. What do you mean depends on us? What do we have to do to turn this descent into an ascent?

R. It depends on how we prepare ourselves, whether we are already in the state of ascent, and we in that state we already talked about it that we should be ready for the state of descent. How is it going to come, and in what form and how we will overcome it, and how will we connect, and how will we pray, and how will we tie ourselves between us and with the Creator? And that we will actually use this state of descent specifically in order to turn the descent into an ascent.

S. We spoke, we spoke, so..?

R. No, no, it's not the way it seems to you. We want to use the descent so that it will become an ascent.

S. Okay, so let’s say it practically. We had a convention. In the Congress we felt an ascent. After the Congress there comes a state of work. And then we also get a reminder from Rav that we have an opportunity, as you told us. So in this state if we made a covenant in the Congress or not that's all then determined by that already or now we have to do some work and now we have a choice. It was a choice in the Congress or now?

R. Now.

S. As Rabash writes here, the covenant is made in the past for the future.

R. It is for the future. It's exactly from this Congress to what will come later.

4. S. (40:45) So it's felt that specifically now we have really the opportunity as he writes in the article maybe to do work on the intention to bestow specifically when we have no taste in bestowal that was seemingly feel some descent?

R. Yes.

S. And so I want to scrutinize this matter here that he writes that the will to bestow is reflected light. So can you maybe talk about this for a second? Like there's some inversion here that I don't quite understand. He seemingly calls the will to bestow which is enough vessel a lack. He's calling it light, which is actually fulfillment.

R. Yes.

S. But the direct light is supposed to clothe in the reflected light. So how is a vessel also light? Maybe you can clarify this?

R. It all depends greatly on whom we are talking about, which action we are talking about, to whom do we attribute this action and the desire, and so it's not that the created being cannot be the source of the light, he can.

S. Okay I got it, so that's why he calls it reflected light because it's not really light, we're not really the source of the light, we bring the vessel, the lack, the yearning?

R. This reflected light fills the Creator.

S. That's our giving towards the Creator?

R. Yes.

S. Surely. So now we really have a really unique opportunity to give reflected light when we have no flavor, and to take all the world Kli like this, and to do as he writes here, you are all standing here before me today. Meaning all the states of the Congress, of ascents that we had, and now seemingly we have this descent which is just a greater opportunity. That if we will realize it now and a strong desire together, we will rise even higher than the Congress?

R. Certainly.

S. That's surely an amazing opportunity.

5. S. (43:39) Who's the host, the boss of the intention, the man or the Creator?

R. What do you think? You see you already have doubts?

S. I am trying to understand where the intention is always escaping me and running to?

R. So you can renew it, it doesn’t run away, it gives you an opportunity to renew it, so you can be more precise and more stable.

S. Okay. I'll ask another question here. A person who comes here that his point in the heart is awakened, he has some tendency to bestow so he wants to bestow?

R. Inside of course, but he doesn't feel it. Anyone who is here has a point in the heart, however it is deep inside, or it is maybe already on the surface.

S. Because this action always feels very difficult, very artificial, this taking what that I want to receive, and seemingly trying to bestow above it, it always feels very unnatural.

R. Because for that you already need to be connected with the Creator. He's the one who replaces things for you. So that if you think about him and what is happening to you, then it actually happens to you in an easy way.

S. And it becomes natural?

R. Yes.

6. S. (45:35) What covenant between us invites the Creator?

R. Connection between us in order to give him contentment.

S. And why is the Creator not always in a mutual guarantee with us from his part with us?

R. On his side there are no other conditions besides that. That if we connect in order to bestow to him as he wants only to bestow to us then through this tendency we reach nearing and even connection.

S. And why do the friends need to remind one another of the covenant if the Creator is in the picture?

R. Because it is all through an awakening from below and so we who belong to a single vessel, we don’t yet feel it, but we do belong to a single vessel as we learn about it, so we can remind each other of it and advance in this way.

S. More general question. What is our work now, more after the Congress, is there some unique work we can do?

R. You already received plenty of materials and some explanations. Now you have to examine by yourselves what is it that you need to do. This is why I don't really get involved so much even though it draws out the time but there's nothing you can do about it. We do need to learn.

S. Could you aim us more specifically?

R. No. A person has to think on his own. What about me? What about my life? What about these times? And what about the study, and the group, and my obligation? And in this way eventually to realize that he must demand and to demand means to connect with those same friends and scrutinize what is the deficiency, the common deficiency between them towards the goal, and raise this deficiency towards the Creator in different forms.

7. S. (48:25) Is there a connection between reflected light and a whole prayer?

R. Certainly. Well what kind of connection are you trying to clarify?

S. It seems to me that reflected light is a prayer.

R. It could be that it is raised in such a way, yeah.

8. S. (49:00) I wanted to ask regarding making the covenant between Creator and man. Is that the same nice sensation that Baal HaSulam refers to between 3-5 years that a person studies this path? Is it that same sensation of making the covenant?

R. The making of the covenant between the Creator and the person is not as it is between people, between the friends, or between the Creator and the group. We will learn more about it

S. We're talking about the sensation, I was referring to a sensation that a person gets in his first years.

R. I'm old already, I can no longer.

S. To continue that question, let's say mountain climbers every few meters they put in another anchor so they don't fall lower. So two questions. Is the first sensation exchanged in a different one or it really all just depends on the different anchor points we place in connection between us? Like in the convention we're holding between us? I don't remember the first Congress I was in. I remember the most recent one that we are working with.

R. That's true.

9. S. (50:54) How can a person think of his friends when he's in the lowest of lowly states in order to reach a prayer to get out of the state he's in?

R. This is truly very difficult if he's in a free fall in a lowly state. It is very difficult for him to wake up and to rise and to reach contact with the friends, to get hold of them, to use them and so that they will use him to be in a mutual connection. It is very difficult. We need to have faith, sorry we need practice, we need practice, training.

10. S. (52:01) If we don't renew the Covenant all the time it means we're not inviting the Creator into our connection?

R. Yes, apparently so.

S. So, a question would be: The work needs to be then all the time like this, with very big love and also big hate, and when we're in such neutral states then that means that when there was big love we didn’t make a covenant? And thus we have these difficult states? That we can't work with them in the meantime?

R. We need to clarify this point of connection. Soon we will do it, but you're right partially.

11. S. (53:33) Regarding the covenant according to what we just read. After the ascent there comes a descent and then during the descent it's written that the Creator checks us. If we are happy? If we continue to love him? Also, in the state of descent like he's checking us, testing us. And if so then he understands we are in the intention to bestow and makes a covenant with us? The question is from this moment if the Creator made a covenant with us it is for eternity?

R. No, it's only for a short period of time so that now we can show him that we are interested in the covenant, we hold onto the covenant but afterwards no. Again descents and ascents and during the descents we have to establish the connection between us and this is how we reach each time like with small mountains.

S. Okay, so if I continue if it's like this, what's the significance of the covenant he made with us right now?

R. This was the beginning and this was the understanding on our part that this is how we have to advance. Descents and ascents, descents and ascents or more correctly sorry descents first and then ascents.

12. S. (55:36) I’m trying to find out how or understand how the first paragraph, when he talks about the abundance imparted below, is related to the last paragraph where he talks about the demand from the lower one who seeks the Creator and is given a new Kli. How are these two paragraphs related? There seems to be some type of tie, but I can't put it together?

R. So that's the entire difference. Who is inviting the work? Who is inviting the work? Either it comes from above from the Creator or that it comes from below from man. When man himself wants, yearns, expects that you'll have now additional ascents, descents and doesn’t take into account if it is an ascent or a descent. Rather the main thing that are differences between us because in this the new vessels are built.

13. S. (57:24) In the Congress, instead of connection we achieved, is that that same point of bestowal meaning in that point of bestowal we reached we make an agreement with the Creator that from here, from that point of bestowal onwards we will advance and the fact that now I disagree with it until we reach that same point of bestowal that we agreed on in the Congress with the Creator?

R. Let's say so in the meantime.

14. S. (58:13) Earlier in your answer to the friend you said about the covenant that it comes and goes and then you told him that there are ups and downs, but it's more correct to say that there are descents and then ascents. So my question is, is there first recognition of evil? Is that the descent?

R. Yes, of course. Of course.

15. S. (58:57) It says here that thanks to the covenant with the friends we get new forces so that we can reawaken the love that was shining in the past and usher it back into the future. So, what is the difference between this new love that we built and the old love that they were using in order to build the covenant?

R. It's a higher degree. A wider, more intense degree, different. That's all we have.

S. What can I take from the old love? What can we take from it?

R. Everything that you want. The main thing is your intention to continue, the intention to continue with.

16. S. (01:00:14) In the third page, at the end of the first column he writes: and over the intention which is considered the hidden part in which a person has no view or control, if so what should we do so that we can also keep the hidden part? And in that, a person can only test meaning to check himself if indeed he's doing everything in order to bestow. Or, the body resists it when it is in order to bestow. So I wanted to ask: Many times we hear in this verse, the slogan, that a person should aim everything to be for the sake of Heaven, everything should be in order to bring contentment and now we read that this is how I understand it, that with regards to the intention we can only check our situation?

R. Yes.

S. So the question is: So we don't really intend, we only check what is the intention that rides over the action?

R. Yes.

S. And when we discover that the intention doesn’t match, his mouth and his heart are not equal, then we can only turn to the Creator.

R. Yes.

S. So we never really make an intention, it’s only a test, right?

R. It's not a check or a test, it's an action. An appeal, a plea to the Creator is an action. What else do you have to do? Other than turn to him and ask that he will check your state and perform a correction.

S. Yes, I understand that. So actually I have no intention which is correct. I can only ask for it?

R. Of course to begin with. Who are we?

S. So when we say to aim everything for the sake of Heaven, what does that mean?

R. We want to have something for the sake of Heaven for the Creator.

S. But also to aim for the sake of Heaven, it's only our desire that it will be this way?

R. Right.

17. S. (01:02:24) Try to help me please with what it says here. We all talked about the covenant that we want to connect to the covenant, make a covenant but listen what kind of condition there is here. He says, this means that then the Creator makes a covenant with him, meaning specifically when a person accepts his work unconditionally. Do you think that any one of us here is willing to work unconditionally? I want to achieve something. What am I going to stand here like a fool and sit here with you if I don't have a..

R. No, no, no. This that you want to attain something, that's fine.

S. But it says unconditionally. He says but rather he agrees to do the holy work without any reward which is considered unconditional surrender, then the Creator makes a covenant with him. Meaning without it, forget about it, no covenant nothing?

R. Of course.

S. So how can we reach a state where we make a covenant with the Creator?

R. We want to reach the intention to bestow.

S. How can we come here, not demand anything, not ask for anything and reach the covenant?

R. You come here in order to not ask for anything.

S. You think any one of us can come here without asking for anything? What are we fools?

R. I think surely most of our friends think that way.

S. That they don't want to achieve anything?

R. They come here in order to annul their will to receive that separates between them and the Creator.

S. It sounds supernatural what you're saying now, it's not natural?

R. You’re right it’s not natural.

S. So what do we do?

R. That’s why they come here at 2:00 a.m.

S. So what do we do?

R. What do we do? We give the Creator an opportunity to work on us.

S. It sounds like I come here and...?

R. It's the first time you hear this in 20 years that you're here.

S. No, I’ve heard this a million times. I’m asking how can I do it? I mean look at the obstacles that I think I’ve experienced in my life when I was thinking that I come here for many years and I really try and I try to connect and I tell my ten, let’s not ask for anything. And they asked me how is it possible? What am I singing for, what am I taking the book for? In order to have hummus in the morning? Or have coffee or come to the Congress? I still don't understand. What do I come to study here for?

R. Well we know you. What can we do? We agree to suffer.

S. You need to suffer me, do I have to suffer you?

R. Of course.

S. No really, I'm asking. No, not cynically. How can I come here and not ask for anything?

R. It's not that you want to ask for anything. We want to receive the most dearest, most precious, biggest most important thing in all the worlds! Not just this world.

S. And what is that? What you're talking about now?

R. That's called the Creator that will clothe in me.

S. That’s not considered asking for something?

R. Yes, of course.

S. What do you mean yes, of course? Now you're saying the opposite. So I should ask for something?

R. I'm making a covenant with the Creator that I'm willing to come, to do everything possible as much as I can. Sometimes I'm higher, sometimes I'm lower but in this I give Him an opportunity to work on me.

S. Now, I get it, meaning to come here and try not to ask for anything?

R. Don't bother Him.

S. Seemingly, I just need to annul before the state when I come here?

R. That's exactly it. To annul towards the friends, towards the Creator and see what He does to you.

S. And only then He will make a covenant with you. I mean, this is the condition.

R. It’s not just that. That is also much after that.

S. What do you mean?

R. He’s not going to immediately make a covenant with you. With who?

S. That's it, so when will he make the Covenant with me?

R. When you’re going to be a human being.

S. What does that mean?

R. When you will be similar to Adam HaRishon in something.

S. And until then, there is no covenant?

R. Until then there is nobody with whom to do it.

S. Meaning, we have to build a vessel in order to make a covenant with him.

R. Of course.

S. Well, hopefully with God's help.

R. You see you got something.

18. S. (01:07:30) You take all the details, all the individuals and you do not consider each and every degree because you do not care about any reward, but rather all you care is that you do the Creator’s will who commanded us to keep the Mitzvot and study Torah. What does it mean that we do not compare one degree to another and what is it to do to the Creator's will?

R. I want that the Creator will do all the actions on me that He will want to do in order to correct me and to bring me to identification with Him. That's it. And then I annul myself. Let Him do it.

S. How do we not compare one degree with another?

R. I don't know degrees or anything, I'm just in devotion.

19. S. (01:08:26) What kind of preparation should we make in order to make a covenant between the friends?

R. If we are in one boat or in one spaceship, such states that there is nowhere to escape from, nowhere to run away to. And so we understand that what we have to do is only to feel that we live one life. The life of the friend, and my life, all the friends. It's the same life. And so, if we reach this, then the Creator makes a covenant with us.

20. S. (01:09:35) How can we build new love when the love breaks, when there is no strength to do anything for the sake of bestowal. How can we look at the covenant that we made in the past?

R. We need to see on the vessel that we wanted to establish it but it shattered. We need to understand that everything comes to correction ultimately and when we demand, expect of these corrections from moment to moment. More and more and more to be very persistent upon it, nagging.

21. S. (01:10:34) How can we go with our eyes shut and believe in the Creator? Why can't I go with my eyes open? Is this some commandment for a person who is in spiritual attainment? Or someone who is on the path?

R. Whoever is on the path, he needs to understand that he will have to go like this, with eyes shut, after the Creator. Meaning to receive from the Creator all of the discernments. And, that he has no chance of reaching success otherwise, if he won't do this. That's on one hand. On the other hand, he needs to reach a state that he has no doubt that only without his eyes, rather in the eyes of the Creator, he can reach the goal. That's called devotion, devotion of spirit all in all. In this, that he makes the effort, then he succeeds.

22. S. (01:12:01) Is an intention part of faith above reason?

R. Yes.

23. S. (01:12:06) Is it correct to say the following: Should we give what a friend wants to receive even when we don't want to and receive with others and also receive what others want to give us when we don't want?

R. We need to feel that we operate together. And if we operate together and connect first, before the action. The action itself, the action itself goes either towards action, towards giving or reception because the main thing is for me is to participate with everyone. Is that clear? Your brain is not letting you understand. If you operate together with the friends, and you now have this rule to receive or let’s say you now have a rule to give, is it important? Your action? That you need to perform? No, so that's what we're talking about.

24. S. (01:13:32) You said that every person should care that all the friends would be in the lesson tomorrow and all the lessons. Exactly, yesterday I called two friends. I gave them importance, I asked them, “today they're not in the lesson.” So, I realize that what was lacking, what was missing is the covenant or maybe it doesn't matter and the most important thing is that I tried?

R. Continue, continue to connect with them and draw them to come to the lesson.

S. That same action we're talking about the covenant now, so what else should a person do? Should he talk about it? That we must sign a covenant in that same action?

R. Yes.

25. S. (01:14:25) There is a statement that one who comes to purify is aided, so the Creator’s help is considered the covenant?

R. No. The covenant is the connection between the vessels. And the assistance can be in all sorts of manners. Even that it will let a person fall. That's it?

26. S. (01:15:11) Is this covenant of love with the Creator the same thing as the constant prayer that unites us to him?

R. Say the question again please.

S. Is the covenant of love with the Creator the same thing of the constant prayer that unites us to him?

R. It's similar, but it's not the same.

S. When do we know that there is this covenant and that the Creator, sorry I didn't hear. When do we know that the covenant exists?

R. When do we know the covenant exists? When we have a mutual feeling in one another, perhaps if we're speaking of the friends that we take the friend's deficiency as his own deficiency and that's how we advance.

27. S. (01:16:40) It says here that the making of the covenant is for the future. What can we do now to strengthen the love between us so that it is for the here and now, and not for the future?

R. The main thing is not to be afraid of ascents of descents because the more we advance we have ascents and descents that are more powerful, deeper, higher, sharper. So, it should not confuse us and scare us off.

28. S. (01:17:43) I want to ask, when a dark state arrives which action should we do?

R. Typically in the dark, you go to sleep. But with us, we need to awaken ourselves and in the darkness we’ll shine as light and we will feel that it is not dark. Whether it's dark for our will to receive, but our connection and our will to bestow there is no darkness.

S. Is it possible to find some habit where we create a state of darkness and we keep it with us so we are always in lowliness?

R. No, what for? Everyday, we need to hear and we need to see that we have another opportunity and another opportunity to connect to the Creator. That is our goal, that is the style of our ascent. That’s why we don't agree to be in this.

S. My next question is how Rabash says in the writing of the purpose of society is that on one hand we need to be in lowliness and on the other hand we need to be when I am in front of a friend, it is like I reproduce in myself this lowliness so I always need the help of the Creator. On the other hand, I have to be in joy. So keep these two lines together?

R. Yes. Okay.

29. S. (01:21:10) He's asking in relation to an excerpt at the start of the article. You stand here all of you. He asks if it's all different degrees of advancement and whether Kabbalists attain each and every one of those degrees that is in that excerpt?

R. Yes, they attain everything.

S. Is it one degree?

R. It's not one degree, those are adjacent degrees. It does not matter that much.

30. S. (01:22:42) There seems to be an original covenant that is signed between the Creator and the friends. And then there seems to be a renewal and a renewal of the covenant every descent. So how do we renew this covenant every time there is disconnection?

R. We pray typically, or the Creator gives us an opportunity to ask, and then we renew the connection.

31. S. (01:23:39) You told us that the covenant lets us measure what degree we fell from. Can it serve us to know what degree we fell from in order to rise to a new degree?

R. Yes.

S. And how will that help us?

R. Because we raise our common deficiency to the Creator, this is what the Creator feels. The higher degree feels only the mutual result or the common result from the degree below it.

S. Is the new covenant always bigger than the current covenant?

R. Yes, it's on a higher degree.

32. S. (01:24:54) If we look at the whole picture, so there is the next degree which is the Creator, there is the next degree which is the created being, let's say the ten. From the Creator the created being did a certain work and then they received a new light from the Creator, so the lower degree needs to do work immediately not to receive the light, let's say this new desire that opens and so they connect. They raise a prayer, they receive correction and they return the light. They don’t receive it, meaning they receive the vessels of bestowal. Meaning they have the vessels of reception and the vessels of bestowal which is the hands of the Creator right?

R. Yes.

S. And then light comes again and that process returns, repeats? Meaning there is a circle. Is that maybe a state where a line turns into a circle?

R. I can't talk about it in such a general way, but it's somewhat similar to that.

33. S. (01:26:14) You said that the most precious thing in this work is that the Creator will dress in me. How does the Creator dress in me?

R. When it comes and clothes or dresses in our reflected light and in such a way, it dresses in us.

S. What is the Ohr Hozer in us?

R. That we wish to be in connection with the Creator through an action of bestowal.

S. And what comes as Ohr Yashar toward our act?

R. That he comes closer to us, that he dresses inside our attitude toward him.

34. S. (01:27:12) Can I ask in this way? What is the benefit that the Creator sees in making a covenant that we should aspire to?

R. That we include inside of ourselves all the created beings in the world, this whole world and we can rise with the whole world up to his degree. And with that, all of reality will be corrected. That's the benefit of our work in this world.

S. He writes that we first need to see that we lack the matter of the vessels of bestowal which is called the desire to bestow and that is our light. What is the explanation of this feeling that we lack?

R. The vessel of the bestowal is our light.

S. Yes, what does that mean?

R. That I wish to bestow only. I look at the whole world, those who are, those who aren’t each and everyone, I look at them through eyes of bestowal. I feel that I connect with everyone. I understand everyone, I accept everyone, everyone accepts me, and in this way I am incorporated with all the created beings.

S. So what is the vessel, and what is the light here?

R. The light comes from the Creator who fills the vessel and the vessel is the desire to love. Love that takes place between created beings.

35. S. (01:29:35) What is the state of, you stand today?

R. That the Creator I guess places us before Him to accept His conditions for development.

S. The Creator positions us there and there is nothing on our behalf to reach that state?

R. There is, but He did that too.

S. Is there a certain action we can do in order to reach it?

R. No, only to receive.
