336. “And behold, a whirlwind was coming out of the north, a great cloud with blazing fire.” The wind that came to break before wicked Nebuchadnezzar, who is the head of four kingships, is called “stormy wind,” since he storms everything.
337. This is the secret that the Creator revealed to Elijah, as it is written, “and a great wind tears down mountains and breaks rocks before the Lord; the Lord was not in the wind.” Indeed, “the Lord was not in the end”; it is the stormy wind. After the wind, an earthquake, “the Lord was not in the earthquake.” This is the great cloud that is here: That cloud was continually shaking, for it was big. “And after the earthquake, fire; the Lord was not in the fire,” indeed, and this is the blazing fire that is here.
338. All these, the stormy wind, great cloud, and blazing fire are shells that surround the Moach [brain]—one in front of the other and one in front of the other. The blazing fire is the one that grips within it that Noga [glow], as it is written, “and a glow around him round about.” Noga is inside everything, and it is the one that grips the Moach.
339. Here is the matter of the four kingships that surround everything: stormy wind is the kingdom of Babylon, great cloud is the kingdom of Madai, blazing fire is the kingdom of Edom, a Noga [glow] around him is the kingdom of Greece, and a glow surrounds them, and not that the glow is in them.
This is so because among all the kingdoms, there is none that is close to the path of faith like the kingdom of Greece. Here, too, in these shells, there is none that is close to the Moach like the Noga shell. This is the meaning of “a glow around him” and not “a glow within him.” Rather, it comes out from within the Moach and shines round about.
340. These four kingdoms interchange. When one controls the others, all those other ones are repelled, and the one that controls enters to receive from that Noga, and she controls it, to be close to the Moach. In other words, their place is not fixed, but rather the kingdom in control enters inside, near the Noga, and receives from it, and the others are repelled from it and surround it.
