NASA is on a mission. It is attempting to hit an asteroid to essentially push it out of Earth's way, which until now we have seen only in science fiction movies. A missile has been sent to hit the asteroid and measure the extent to which it is able to deflect it from its orbit. God forbid an asteroid hits Earth. It could lead to a catastrophe. Will we reach a day where science will be able to protect us from such threats? The forces of nature are arranged in such a manner that the need for existence will cause us to exist. We only need to have a correct attitude and be in a good relationship with nature’s laws, which are familiar to us, i.e. on the still, vegetative, animate and speaking levels. There is no need for us to take matters into our own hands or to be afraid of anything. The corrected attitude, being that of mutual and beneficial connection, love, and consideration toward one another, is all we need. We would also feel “love” toward the asteroid if we developed love toward each other.
