Violence and murder in Israeli-Arab society is at an all-time high. A 17-year-old excellent student and social activist who was sitting in his car in the Israeli city of Lod was shot in the head because of his relation to a family member that is in dispute with someone. The government is investing large sums of money in opening police stations, seizing weapons, and enforcing tougher measures to curb crime. According to the view of Kabbalist Dr. Michael Laitman, we do not need more “cops on the beat,” only education – learning about our reality. This will promote and strengthen a healthy opinion in society, such that we will realize that it is only through acts of bestowal where we will achieve correct behavior. This is achievable through the use of TV, radio, the Internet, and government programs in schools and textbooks. If we fail to implement new attitudes of bestowal among each other, then we are just burying ourselves.
