Annulling Before the Upper One - Selected Excerpts from the Sources, #42
1. Rav’s Introduction: To nullify before the upper is basically when we adapt our Kli which is the will of the receive to the upper one and then the upper one according to the law of equivalence of form, according to the extent of equivalence of form, the upper one can fulfill our vessel, our desire. Although our desire is entirely to receive and it keeps growing and growing but the equivalence of form is not according to the desire, which is how we received it from the Creator and it cannot be changed. I have no control over my will to receive whatsoever, but I might have control over the intention. How I want to use the will to receive, for what purpose, for what goal, in what style, that’s what’s important. We need to take care of not the will to receive itself but how do we use it, for my own good do I use it, or for the good of the Creator or the others which is one and the same for me. Because I do not feel the Creator and in order to relate to Him in the right way, in the way I can measure, that I can calibrate correctly, I have the opportunity to relate this way to the others. Because the others I can feel, I have a sensation towards them, I have different opportunities to determine my attitude to them. We do not pay attention to the desire but rather to the intention. To what extent can my intention to bestow be somewhat like or in accord with the Creator's desire to bestow? The desire to bestow along with the intention to bestow, that’s the Creator. For me it is always the will to receive but how can I determine my intention of using the will to receive for the purpose of bestowing to the Creator?
By that I come to sympathize with the Creator, that’s what’s important. Usually, we understand this and we talk about this when the person is already in the will to bestow but it can never be an actual will to bestow. The will to bestow is the Creator, the person is always in a will to receive, but the intention over the will to receive, to use the will to receive in order to bestow, that is in man's hands, in his strength and his ability to establish this through the group, the study and drawing the light that reforms and raising a prayer to the Creator. The intention to bestow, that’s what we need to pay attention to, and the desire, it doesn’t matter what it is, it doesn’t matter. Everything depends on the intention. Just like the example that one person can cut open the body of another person because he is a murderer and another can do the same action because he is a surgeon. The one who is a murderer has to pay for it and the one who is a surgeon has to be paid. It all depends on what we want to achieve by the action and not the action itself. What we want to do through our engagement in Kabbalah is to achieve an intention to bestow over all our desires and our desires will always be desires to receive but we won’t feel them as such because we will be feeling our intentions and living in our intentions, and this is called spirituality.
That’s where we contact the Creator, we equalize with the Creator and we merge with the Creator, according to our intention towards Him. Between us and towards Him we prepare our intentions between us, and to the extent we succeed we aim these intentions to Him, and this is how we advance. Calibrating the intentions, which is our true attitude to each and everything, that’s the main thing and that’s what we should pay attention to. It does not matter to us what the desires are. The desires themselves come from above according to the order of degrees from now until the final correction and the next desire that appears in us is always bigger, more cruel, more difficult than the previous one. That’s how we will see ourselves, that according to our desires we basically fall. If we look only at our desires, we are becoming worse. But the true test is only according to the intentions. The intentions are called hidden because the desires and the actions, according to the desires, are seen by all. The intentions no one can see from the outside. Also, the person himself when he begins to establish some new intention in himself, it is also not certain, he is not sure if the intention is correct or not and he could be perplexed about his intentions whether they are right or not but again what’s important is the intentions and they are what we need to build up and maintain and properly calibrate. The desires, whatever arises we do not need to, we shouldn’t sort them out or work in favor or against them.
What is important to us is that on top of the desires, whatever comes it comes from the Creator. The Creator is revealing these desires by the light. When His light comes closer, we reveal bigger desires because we are all in this box of this vessel of Adam HaRishon, the shattered soul. As the Creator approaches, as bigger desires emerge, appear and are more broken desires. We just have to try to manage to make an intention to bestow on top to the point where the worst possible desires will appear and accordingly, we will try and succeed in installing intentions to bestow on top of them. Starting between us inside the 10s, and between all people and towards the Creator. When we install these intentions between us in Bnei Baruch we are just preparing ourselves toward the great will to receive which is all the people of the world in relation to the Creator. Because all the people of the world are the vessels of reception, AHP. We have to understand there is a big will to receive here. This is called nations of the world (refer to diagram) and before that there is our Kli, our will to receive, this is Bnei Baruch or Kabbalists, those who can be as one, I’ll write a 10, and above that is the Creator and that is the upper force.
The desires are mostly in humanity, that's where the desire is. And the intentions are here, the intentions are to bestow to the Creator and this is our work. The more we advance in our work, the more layers will appear deeper and deeper into the will to receive, into the AHP. The AHP are the vessels of reception and we are GE, vessels of bestowal. That’s how we need to work so the most important thing for us is to install the intentions, the intention on top of the emerging will to receive so that the desires and intentions are connected together, balanced together so that we can connect the whole created being, that’s the whole created being, we can connect it with the Creator. We can say Keter, Hochma and Bina are in GE, the upper part, the top part and ZA and Malchut are below. This is more or less, we will learn that more. The main thing is we need to pay attention not to the desires but to the intentions, what do I intend to do, what do I want to achieve.
2. S. (14:54) How do we nevertheless above the desires that come up, how to place the correct intentions and live in it?
R. This is possible by being in a group, working with them on connection. From the connection I receive somewhat of a desire to bestow. I relate myself to the group and to the Creator then I absorb the force of bestowal from there. The actions are always through the connection with the ten. I try to aim myself at the Creator and absorb the force of bestowal from there.
3. S. (15:56) You show on the drawing that Bnei Baruch are those who install the intention to bestow over the desire to receive it exists in the AHP of the vessel, but the AHP does not change it intention so it turns out that there is the reception in order to receive of the AHP?
R. The AHP has no intention the intention is in the GE, that is the intention and below there is the desire.
S. There is always an intention to the desire you said?
R. Desires always have a natural intention which is the intention to enjoy we do not call this a conscious intention. We talk about intention as what they actually want from their actions so the desires of the AHP are the desire to receive to enjoy, for themselves where both the intention and the desire are on the same line and they are aligned, so we do not differentiate between them but only in the upper part in GE where there are also desires to receive but the intention is opposite, to bestow. That is where we want an intention to bestow so we can connect with the rest of the world, the rest of the vessels and raise them higher. This is our role so it is only us who deal with the conscious intentions.
4. S. (18:20) How does our work on intentions influence mankind's general desire?
R. The more we succeed in progressing towards the right intentions we can reach a state where we hasten the appearance of the new desire, this is called Israel accelerates time. If not, the new desires will come nevertheless but each and every desire that appears will not be for our own benefit, for our own good. This is how it is what we need is to take care of the intentions as much as possible and by that we can speed up the emergence of the new desires and they will be only for our benefit, that we will understand them, we will acquire them, understand why they appear and for what reason in order for us to establish these intentions to bestow above them.
S. What is happening in the world that the Creator does with humanity cannot influence the wars and the plagues?
R. I do not think that there is already an influence from our state but it is the Creator who accelerates the development, there will come more and more fast rapid changes of different states. As it says in the Torah that in the morning you will say when will the evening come and, in the evening, you will say when will the morning come. The states will not be good and they will be very fast. This is still the Creator's work, we still do not operate to make meaningful changes in the world, otherwise we would also somewhat discover ourselves, how do we operate there is an influence but it is very minor.
5. S. (21:44) Am I supposed to control the intention to be in order to bestow or first I have to care about the intention of my friends in the ten?
R. One connects to the other if I want to have the right intention, I need to achieve it in connection between us in the ten and ultimately it turns out that my intention and my friends’ intentions turn out being one mutual intention even though it consist of each and everybody's personal intention because each still has their own desire to receive and their own intentions and personal conditions. But when we want to connect specifically in our common intention, this is where reconnect and this common intention is comprised of our individual intentions and even though we say that one man with one heart, internally it is like a bouquet, it is like a collection, it is like a mosaic. Where we all intend to one source we try to be as one, but it is only our efforts, the attempts we are making as much as we can. On the inside we always feel that we certainly more separated because the Creator changes the range of precision, the magnitude of desire in each one of us and then we feel separated again and then we have to work on our connection again. This is already working on a higher level, higher level of sensitivity, higher level of attainment, higher level of intention and accordingly until we achieve such a connection between us through mutual giving between us and the Creator so through our connection, we build such relationships that come from opposite, opposite components that we try to connect together. So that there we ultimately discover the Creator in the connection. We build Him from all our desires being opposite and different and conflicting and we feel this and yet we want to connect to bring them all together in a single intention for the purpose of connection, love and giving, sensing the Creator as one. From these two things from the coarseness and from purity or refinement that we want to achieve, this is where we get the intensity of revelation of the Creator. What is the Creator? It is come and see, Bo-reh, meaning that despite the great coarseness and we build refinement or purity and this is “my sons have defeated me”. The Creator gives us a great desire to receive in each one of us and despite this we want to connect on top of it to identify with Him and this is how we make connection with Him.
6. S. (26:21) When we correct our intention we raise the world together with us, what is the meaning of elevating the whole world with us?
R. We are talking about the ten. First of all, if we can connect to a ten and reach a state where on top of all the different desires, we have a single intention to bestow to the Creator, who is one, who is the source, who unifies all of us, there in Him, in the Creator, in Him our heart shall rejoice, there we are connected. We cannot connect without the Creator; we can only connect in Him so when we connect to Him and we feel that the nullify ourselves in Him this is very become GE and then we can wake up the Creator. This is already the next stage not to nullify in Him but to awaken in Him an attitude to the whole of humanity and their we awaken in the Creator a desire or a commitment to take care of humanity through us, Then it turns out that we are representatives of all of humanity in the Creator like a part of this GE and through us we connect humanity to the Creator and this is why Baal HaSulam calls us a passageway or a conduit and this is how we have to function. First, we connected between us then we connected to the Creator and then when we are already connected between us and with the Creator, we begin to connect with mankind and we make ourselves this passageway from the Creator to humanity and this is basically our role until the bring all humanity back to contact with the Creator.
7. S. (29:46) In the work of ten some desires are revealed from the friends to me and some desires through me to other friends. What is the difference between these two conditions?
R. I cannot say exactly right now about this, in the meantime we have to reach a state that it is the same thing for me. I work to the friends and the friends work to me and all of us together to each other to come to such a connection between the desires that they become one. Because the phase we have to go through is called the Ibur, the conception, and we have to resemble ourselves as if we melt into the drop of sperm that goes into the mother's womb and begin the impregnation as it is said the Creator will impregnate in me for you. This is what we need, it doesn't matter who is first, last or more or less, what is important to be together until they become like a single drop.
8. S. (31:33) So that desire comes from the Creator, but where is the intention coming from? What is the root of the intention?
R. I will tell you, the intention of ours is to begin with entirely like, the desire it is only in order to receive but the desire to receive comes from the Creator and it changes only in size, bigger or smaller. The intention, however, we can change by the influence of the light, of the light that reforms the intention can transform from in order to receive for itself to in order to bestow to others and this is basically our work. This is our work. We are not the owners of the desires because it comes from above, from the Creator opening himself up more than we discover a greater desire to receive opposite to the Creator. If the Creator closes Himself or moves away so to speak, then our desire to receive it becomes smaller and then we think that we are withering or fading away. Our intention entirely depends on the desire until we start to take care of it. The whole of humanity does not understand the difference between desire and intention, people feel no difference between them because the desire and the intention always come together towards the same line and it used to be the same for us, meaning Bnei Baruch meaning those who have an inclination to discover the Creator. So for them a difference is formed between the desire and the intention and they need to artificially, meaning it does not come from above naturally, artificially through the group and study and examining it and through an effort we have to peel off, differentiate between the desire and the intention first of all to see how in each and every desire of mine I have an intention for myself and the intention, I need to replace be there in you intention for the Creator. This is the entire action we have to do, there is no more, this is the difference between physical life and spirituality, our desires remain the desires to receive, but the intention changes the quality of the desire. Meaning for whom do I receive, if I cannot receive for the benefit of others or for the benefit of the Creator then I must not receive it in order to be in spirituality. This is called my minimal equivalence of form with the Creator, which is called the restriction. That I do not use my desire to receive if I cannot bestow upon others and the Creator. This is it and now what to do, nothing, you can eat and sleep and do the necessary things in this world in this life which is called neither condemn nor praised. These are things to do to exist like any other animal but not human you can live in this physical life and not be in spirituality but you cannot be in states that are opposite to spirituality. You simply provide yourself with what we call food for survival of your soul, whatever you need to exist in a physiological way and if you made a restriction and you do not want to receive anything besides necessities and necessities which is neither condemned and it is not praised is permitted because you have to survive.
If you want to grow beyond this then you first must acquire the right intention to bestow contentment to the Creator. To bring contentment to the Creator, I do not know if I do this or not every person in the world could tell you of course I am bringing contentment to the Creator. In order not to make a mistake, the Creator created a system for us where we are in contact with all the other people and if I want to know if I give to the Creator I have to pass through this phase of bestowing to other people, if I care about people, if I want to do good to them. Here we have to clarify what it means to do good because everybody thinks they are doing good to others. If we learn how to do a real good to others and relate to them, in this way then through this effort I can do good to the Creator, I can bestow to the Creator in order to help us to do this work more easily then we were given the 10, the group. Inside the ten I complete my work, I don't pay attention to anything else outside of it, I want to connect with the friends together in or there to bestow to each other to think about each other how we connected to each other in our hearts and thoughts to literally one body and one soul. From us if you come to this state to a feeling that there is such a feeling between us that we are really thinking in a single desire, single mind, single heart, a single concern.
Then we can direct this concern, this desire from us to the Creator and this is how we come to bestow contentment to the Creator. Our desires here are not so important they appear in each and everyone but what is important is how we aim our intention to make sure that with all our desires it will be only for the benefit of the ten and for the benefit of the Creator. This is bringing contentment to the Creator and this is how we progress. If I truly do this then I discover to the extent that I really want to give contentment to the ten, I discover the internality of the ten, the internal structure, the connection between us and this is already called the system of Adam HaRishon. In that connection network then I begin to discover the force operating there in the connection between us and this is called the Creator, the revelation of the Creator to the created beings in this world. Right here in our physiology in our biological body we exist in this world but above that and despite this, we make a connection between us that is called the spiritual world and we exist in these two worlds and we connect between us in the ten and to the Creator. Then we feel that our whole life is entirely focused on the connection between us and with the Creator and then this world gradually loses its importance and this means that we begin to rise to the spiritual world.
9. S. (42:40) It is not clear when we talk about nullifying ourselves to virtually build a mother's womb that cares for the others or we build the embryo?
R. It is both this is and that is also true, we have to make sure that the higher one takes care of us. This is called raising MAN and when we care about us being connected that way we grow. We grow through the influence of the upper and then we take a form where the upper one and we reach such a form the upper one is willing to take care of us. Meaning to the upper one, even though we are not like the higher one on one hand we are still connected to this higher one as a lower towards the upper. There are laws through which I can nullify myself to the higher or not so if I can raise my deficiency to the higher that I ask him to take care of me this means that I make myself the lower to the higher and then a necessity to him to take care of me.
10. S. (44:15) Can we appreciate our influence, bestowal to humanity to the same extent that we appreciate the influence of the ten? Can we receive such appreciation through the ten?
R. Through the ten each one of us feeds himself from the Creator, nourishes, and the Creator relates to each one of us through the ten. And when that happens each is incorporated into the whole ten and this is how he develops. We do not develop when each one of us simply grows. I was little and then I became bigger and bigger. No, we grow like in mathematics, computers, we grow by incorporating more and more cells in one another. If I am incorporated in the ten that’s my first spiritual degree. If each one in the ten grows by incorporating into other tens it’s the second degree, 10 times, 100 times more, just as Rabash writes in his articles. That’s the meaning of growing bigger. I grow bigger not because my cells become bigger rather my cells grow in quantity, and that’s how I grow. Even in this world we see, in technology, in the brain, it’s actually the other way around. We manage to build smaller and smaller cells but where we once had one cell now, we have thousands of cells, and that’s how we advance. That’s actually similar to spirituality. Where each one of us to the extent he is capable of incorporating with the others, that’s how we advance. It’s a good question, you should think about it.
11. S. (47:29) When we come from individual intentions to general intentions in the ten, should every friend open their hearts and express their desires? How can we come to one intention in the ten?
R. The main thing that we need is to be incorporated, integrated with the writings of Rabash and Baal HaSulam that we are learning about here in the lesson. Maybe go over it a few more times. But it is recommended that we don't jump from one topic to another so it won’t confuse us. And as we get more refined about it in this way it will bring us more...it will advance us more. I don’t recommend that you jump according to your ideas from this to that. It’s about going over sometimes 10 times over the same materials, the same article, to build it, see it differently. When we read together 5 excerpts in the morning lesson, try to go over them several times during the day and see different forms that appear inside those 5 verses. This will help you advance more than anything else. First of all because all over the world, all of Beni Baruch are working with it, that adds.
12. S. (49:37) Can we do certain exercises for separating or distinguishing the intention from the desire because many times we are only in the desire and we don’t pay attention to the intention.
R. I don't know, there are various exercises but they are corporeal exercises. Let's say you take a certain food that you like that you love, and you are very hungry, and before you eat you make an exercise with the intention that you wish to be in adhesion in the ten, and through the ten adhesions with the Creator. And when you are excited about the connection in the group, then start to eat and see to what extent you can attach the pleasure from your beloved food to the intention to bestow contentment to the ten and to the Creator. Such a simple exercise. That is a practical exercise, but it’s correct. I used to eat hundreds of times next to Rabash around the same small table. I saw how much energy and great forces he exerted in order to eat, and I ate because the food was tasty. But for him to eat he had to close his eyes and do these inner actions that you cannot even describe because for him every bite he took was receiving the pleasure but he had to arrange it so it would be in order to bestow, to the source of the pleasure which is the Creator. This was not simple. Let’s try to do it, not this moment but you can try to do it here and there. Tell us how it’s working out for you.
13. S. (52:31) Is it important how we uplift the spirit of the friends and disclose the love in our hearts or is it the intention? How do we approach this?
R. If I wish to reach a spiritual action I need to try and assemble, accumulate in me my friends, their desires, their intentions and all of them together as a bouquet I want to present to the Creator, so He would take care of it, and then the action will be successful.
14. S. (53:32) In raising MAN for the others we build an intention to bestow?
R. I do not know what you mean exactly by raising MAN for the others. You have to examine this, but in a sense it is correct.
15. S. (54:10) I am afraid to lose the connection with the Creator. Can I maintain intention also in necessities?
R. You can keep the intentions to bestow with every desire and you can keep the connection with the Creator.
16. S. What is the reason, the point where the AHP understands that it needs to support and cooperate with the GE?
R. Each one of us in the group is like the AHP towards a friend who is the GE and we can also say that each one of us is GE relative to a friend that I wish to carry with me who is the AHP. And this is how we connect one to the other and each helps his friend. And only with external desires which are desires of the world in general, humanity in general, there we can only be the GE and they are the AHP, and this is how we function.
S. We say that the AHP at some point will support and carry us on their shoulders?
R. That’s not now, it’s after we work with them, bestow to them and they would feel the goal and they cannot reach the goal but only by pushing us climbing towards the goal can they reach it. Because they have no way to connect to the goal except through us when they connect to the Creator through us. They have no way of establishing any other connection.
17. S. (56:33) So what does it mean that the GE can correct AHP or they only invite the lights for correction?
R. We have to examine this, it’s not simple but we both correct and invite the lights, it’s a mutual process. The way we awaken the AHP, the AHP is helping us build the GE in a complete way, because also for us in GE we are missing vessels with which to care for the AHP. We have to incorporate with them, they have to incorporate with us to some extent. And then in this mutual way we connect all of humanity including Bnei Baruch, including Israel, including everybody in the world, all of us together connected to the Creator.
S. There is also a question, does GE lack desires, they lack the ZON, they need the ZON?
R. Of course from where else would they get it from. After we correct ourselves, we are simply preparing ourselves for the correction of the world. We are the least of all the nations, we have no desires, no forces, we have nothing with which to turn to the Creator, because we don’t have a great will to receive. Even though we are so vicious and we have such great desires and we see we are the worst in our desires compared to the nations of the world, this is only for the time being. Later it will become evident to us, to those who yearn for the Creator and reveal such great, egoistic desires, cruel desires for food, sex, family, money, honor, knowledge that they seemingly want to devour the whole world, that they are the small desires that belong to the degree of Bina. All of it was for us to correct yourselves but when we connect to the nations of the world in the connection with us huge desires begin to be clarified. How can I put it? It is a little like how it was in history where those places where the people of Israel passed through, the nations of the world, the nations acquired religion, and an attitude to philosophy as we read from Aristotle and Plato, and other things that we awaken in the nations of the world. Awakening a bigger will to receive because as GE we are showing them it’s possible to receive more. They can’t feel it, where it’s coming from but that’s how it’s working in reality. We will see it I do not want to talk about it before people discover it and feel it as such. But in the nations of the world as well the will to receive will grow many times more than it is right now, the corporeal desires that they have for food, sex, family, money, honor, knowledge. They will also want to know about eternity in nature, and they will want to be connected to everything that is possible in creation.
S. So the GE needs to make a restriction over their own desires in GE, or what appears in their AHP?
R. GE has to correct themselves and later they have to start caring for the correction of the AHP because the AHP itself, they can’t understand. They have no idea on what depends on the entire correction. They can only suffer and they only suffer from that which they desire but cannot obtain, meaning corporeal things, so we have to pass to them the possibility to grow. The possibility to grow means the possibility to suffer and then they will be able to suffer from not having spirituality and then they will blame us for bringing the world all the bad things. That before it wasn't as bad, and it’s true. But he who adds knowledge and reason adds pain and because of that they will want to connect to the Creator through us and they will say: you connect and will help you, we will stand here off to the side and that’s what they can do, no more than that. But it’s enough that in general we will connect with them together and turn to the Creator and because we are going to have a great will to receive which is theirs and the connection with the Creator, which is ours, then we will be able to turn to the Creator and demand the correction and the fulfilment, the general correction and general fulfilment. We as GE will also have to correct in our AHP, the AHP of GE, to be connected to the external AHP. They will have to be connected to their own GE in order to connect to us and with the Creator. In short this is the process of the last generation but through true corrections, the final corrections.
S. You said that over time we will start living in the intention. What does it mean?
R. That the intention and not the desire will determine each of our actions.
18. S. (01:04:32) In order to connect to AHP we need the right qualities, we need help coming from above in the form of new qualities. Is the process that you have described of clarification, of purification of the coarse light and pure light that which brings us new qualities?
R. There is a program like a software, and the light works accordingly. Here we have a question, if we proceed with our deficiencies and the light works both according to its plan and according to our deficiencies, our requests, then everything works fine. We are working with Him, with the Creator hand-in-hand. And if not, then either He comes first and we follow the path of suffering because he awakens the deficiencies in us, or we try to attain Him as much as possible and we follow the path of Torah. If I understood the question correctly.
S. If I can attach the good intention onto desires does that generate new qualities that can help to purify AHP?
R. Through incorporation, integration, how do you do it with babies, children? You connect with the desires or you don't connect with the desires but you are doing it, you are trying. Make your desire as His desire so He will make His desire as your desire, that’s how it works in incorporation. A good question, it’s very complex, I can't quite open it up, but it’s good. Save this question for a few lessons from now and ask it again.

R. We will continue together.
19. S. (01:07:54) How do we in the ten increase the pace of changing the intentions?
R. As much as you can take yourself from calculations in your intellect to calculations in the emotions, this is how you will advance and the ten will also advance.
S. How to speed up the pace?
R. That also dictates the speed. As much as you are yearning to make all of the calculations in your desire and not in your intellect. Because the intellect belongs to this world and the desire belongs to the spiritual world.
S. How can the ten help me?
R. The ten sets examples for how much it is in the intentions and not in the desires themselves. It doesn't matter which desires as long as the intention would be toward the friends and through them toward the Creator. We need to live in it, constantly hold ourselves in it, until it becomes a second nature, a habit.
20. S. (01:09:30) If I pay attention to the intentions, I see that all of my intentions are in order to receive. Do I need to practice thinking of the ten in this artificial way?
R. Of course artificially, of course acting in this way, playing. That’s how we are in this world although we don't want to bestow and connect, together with that we can play with it, we can act it out. That is the whole point of acting, that I am one way on the inside and on the outside, I make myself another way.
S. What desires and intentions should we discuss openly in the ten and what should we hide?
R. Disclose everything that can help us connect in the ten, awaken one another, and to conceal everything that can cool the friends off of connection.
21. S. (01:10:54) Should we remind each other to work in intention in the activities of our ten?
R. Yes, it is possible with the friends, other than private personal states that they are going through, but they can speak about the rest of the work freely. Just not about their personal states because by that we are confusing the others.
S. When I feel the deficiency of a friend suddenly, I feel a desire to open the love I feel to that friend but then I am trying to restrict myself in order to be humble. So, what is the right approach to be humble or to give awakening to the friends’ heart?
R. Whatever is for the benefit of the friend. I can’t say. Whatever is for the good of the friend you must do. But truly for his benefit. Not that you think it or that you determine that this is good and you pressure him and you demand of him. Rather that you clothe in him and from the bottom of your heart, like a mother towards her baby, that’s how you make that decision.
22. S. (01:12:58) Why do we grow when we unite with the deficiencies of humanity?
R. R. I would not say that and in general I wouldn't include everything in one sentence, the wisdom of Kabbalah is much more complicated, complex as it includes everything that there is in reality including the Creator. R. The corporeal people of Israel are here (under the GA) if you can put it this way, it has a potential for us to connect to GE and it is a problem and when will it manifest? S. We just don't understand why there are two AHP’s.
R. There is the AHP which belongs to the GE and there is a general AHP which belongs to people of the rest of reality, the AHP that belongs to GE, feels that if he longs to the vessels of reception that belong to correction and feel they belong to correction and the general AHP which are all the nations of the world, all of humanity do not feel they belong to correction they still don't have a connection to it.

R. I don't understand, can you put it in one sentence?
S. How do I know what I'm doing is for the benefit of others?
