Part
2:
Preparation for Congress.
1. S. (00:02) Can I ask about the work in the Congress of the ten? What I understand is that before the congress, not during the congress, we have two spiritual structures that we work with and that is our ten and the world Kli. How do the relations have to be in working towards my ten and towards the world Kli, in a regular ten?
R. At regular periods of time not in the convention? The ten is that environment in which you change until you come to adapting yourself to the Creator.
S. So my work is towards the ten?
R. Yes.
S. How is the world Kli, the rest of the tens, how are they connected to this process?
R. Each does that way.
S. What's the connection between them?
R. That each helps the others.
S. The tens?
R. Yes.
S. In what, support and example, something that is relatively external, but my main work in the intention to give my ten? So now in the convention, there's like another spiritual structure, I don't know how to call it, call it random ten?
R. Not random, but general. It's the whole Bnei Baruch, whoever joins it.
S. So what is that structure, what is that general ten?
R. That all of us, all of us are also called a ten.
S. In a day that it's not the convention, so it doesn't exist?
R. We don't have an intention for that, we don't have preparation for that, we don't have common work here during the convention. That's the whole thing that we want all of us to establish our work together.
S. So what is our work together in the congress towards the general ten, every individual towards the whole ten the world ten?
R. During the convention we need to try to be in the ten, and from the ten be connected and operating upon all the tens, upon the general ten of the entire world, all the Bnei Baruch, the whole world.
S. The general ten, is it a ten that is built from all tens in the world?
R. Yes.
S. Or is it one general ten?
R. There's one general ten in the world.
S. Of all Bnei Baruch?
R. Of all Bnei Baruch.
S. Is that made of thousands of individuals that build one ten?
R. It’s not just made of individuals, but thousands of tens. Thousand of individual private tens.
S. So let's say our permanent tens are the private tens that put together one general ten, so we have that now it's not only in the congress?
R. Yes, but we're not operating in such a way.
S. What's the innovation in the action towards the general ten in the congress?
R. That we want to activate ourselves, operate ourselves, all of us together, and in such a way that we are all together operating upon one another, each has the possibility of bestowing outside the boundaries of the ten together upon everyone, and upon the entire spiritual reality of the world.
S. What happens in the congress that only in the congress we can do this work towards the general ten?
R. You can do this every single day, but only if you assemble in such a way.
S. What's the difference in the gathering in the congress that allows you to work towards the general ten?
R. Only if you decide that you want to connect in order to bestow upon the general upper force from the common effort to connect all Bnei Baruch in the world.
S. And day to day we don't have such intentions?
R. I didn't hear that you were planning this way on a daily basis for such work.
S. So if we come to the lesson during the day, our work is in the ten and not actually the intention towards the general ten. In the congress, we have some addition, and now we decide that we're also working towards the general ten?
R. That's the difference between the convention and the general day.
S. So again if you could focus on us on it?
R. That we're all connecting in the tens in order to bestow through them upon the general connection between us, of all Bnei Baruch together to one ten.
S. There's another form that I don't know what to call it, let's say a random ten. Friends gather in hundreds of places in the world, here too, and there we don’t sit in our regular tens?
R. Also it's not important, if they have the same intention, inclination, the same way, then they can do that.
S. How?
R. If they gather a few friends, men and women, together as they're not really connected to the group, usually they can make of themselves the same act of connection and bestowal upon everyone as the part that is incorporated in the general aspect of Bnei Baruch.
S. Everybody in the congress does have some kind of constant ten?
R. It could be, could be people that are not connected to us.
S. But 99% are connected to other regular tens and now they're sitting in random tens, and they need to work from the private ten into the general ten?
R. Why not?
S. What happens to a person that is sitting now, what’s the internal work towards the random ten, towards the individual ten, what is the individual work?
R. To connect with them, with the ones you're sitting with. I came to the congress, I don't know anybody here or maybe I know them, but they are in some kind of ten. They told me, sit down here, you see here there is an empty seat next to Gabriel. He told me to sit here, so I'm going to sit. Now I have to connect to all these people that are sitting at the table and to try along with everybody to incorporate in the general vessel, and in that general vessel do such actions that will resemble the Creator, and be able to be revealed in us, to connect in us, to enjoy us.
S. So I connect during the convention to a random ten which I sit down, and through it I'm working on the general ten which is made up of many random tens, that want to connect to one ten?
R. Yes.
S. What's being renewed here from the daily life that we are in our current ten and working towards the general ten?
R. Maybe there's a special effort here during the congress. People come to a certain special action, and not that they just came to study some article and so on.
S. Not where is my permanent ten that I work with for three years, five years, doesn't matter how long, and where is that form while I'm sitting in the general and in the convention? I come from PT3, my ten. I'm sitting in a random ten that is made up of many individuals that also come from their tens. Now where is my ten, PT3, while I'm sitting during the convention in my random ten?
R. Not there, gone.
S. What do you mean it's gone? Why do we do it that way?
R. You do it that way so you can feel an innovation in your connections, that really in the end, we need to connect to such an extent between us that there won't be any difference between one and the other.
S. So I actually have to come and accept this random ten, and sit with them for two hours in the lesson, and that's it, I'm not going to see them after that?
R. But you have to get an impression from them as much as possible.
S. For me and for the general Kli that we all want to operate upon?
R. Yes.
S. I hope this helps the friends, for many friends this matter is very hard for them. We work with this permanent ten…?
R. And that should give me an ability, as quick as possible, and as powerful as possible, to connect and adhere to the random ten.
S. How can we do that? What is the advice to connect in one moment to a ten that I never saw, I never met, and also do that with them?
R. I'm not connecting to a face or special character that I feel. I am connecting to a desire that appears before me, through that biological body, but with that desire to connect between us, between such desires and the Creator, that is what we need.
S. How do I identify that desire for connection in the friend that way?
R. I take it from the beginning, that's why they came here. From each and everyone, a certain spark comes out and there are sparks we need to try and connect between us, and present them to the Creator.
S. And in my permanent ten, how do I identify that spark?
R. My work with my permanent ten, I don't have it, during the congress I don't have that.
S. Yes, I understand I'm trying to get from what you just said right now, but how do I connect with my random ten toward the connection I'm supposed to have also in my permanent ten?
R. Please there's no difference.
S. How? If it's not with faces, with sparks, and so on?
R. Why is it important that now I am sitting with random friends or with my permanent friends?
S. Because it's as if with the permanent ten I have much more expression with the same spark, at least what I understand, a friend invests, he comes, he awakens, he does things, I see this.
R. I erase all that and I start a new page.
S. That's during the convention?
R. Why can't you do that every day?
S. Because it helps him, it helps me to receive an impression from him. I'm not living in some, only I am impressed by that, by the fact that the friend…?
R. There are all kinds of cases.
2. S. (14:25) Is the same question as the friends, with the friends from the ten from each of them we have endless impressions, we heard them speaking many times, we did workshops, we saw them overcome and from that we get impression, envy, lust and honor, all those things. Now I will come to the convention and sit with people that I never even saw, so yes I believe that they came to the convention to connect but it's hard to perform this action before a person that you don't know. You have to be impressed by them, or feel their uniqueness and things like that?
R. In the country, here you have new vessels that you don't know; that they are confusing you and you need to turn around and find that new contact, new direction, and why is it not good?
S. But how do you feel such a person?
R. The fact that I don't feel him, that awakens me even more. Helps me jump.
S. let’s say in a workshop when someone is talking so i get an impression, only from looking at someone I can and I try to ask that I can feel him inside, but sometimes it works a little, sometimes it doesn't. Is that the only action?
R. You need to try and feel the connection that in this connection you advance towards the Creator; another step and another step and another step, and in this way more and more and more.
3. S. (16:22) I want to say that I'm very happy and excited towards this incorporation that we will have this coming weekend, to meet more friends, to meet more deficiencies and I wanted to ask all the questions that we ask for right now…?
R. I would be happy to sit in the ten where I don't know anybody. yes..
S. Okay, wonderful. All the questions that we had were asked about the friends who are. physically to incorporate there, and there are many other friends that are virtually, they don't gather due to distances and conditions. The question is also virtually, would it be right to unite and connect randomly, according to the language?
R. Yes, according to language that's the only thing.
S. And not according to my virtual permanent ten?
R. No, no no no. Otherwise what's the difference between the Congress and a regular day? The purpose is the same, the topics are the same and there's almost no difference.
S. And again what innovation I expect from this incorporation in the new ten?
R. I'm expecting an innovation because when we want to connect between us in the connection that we are usually not used to.
S. So there’s a general innovation here, because these people that I'm not used to sitting with and feel usually. What's the spiritual innovation I'm expecting from such a ten?
R. That we uplift above the lack of feeling and understanding between us, and we still want to be as people that know the general goal, right, because we're all studying together, and we want to be ‘as one man in one heart’.
4. S. (18:28) Continuing this question, from caring for the social part of the Israeli groups so just to refine this point, let's say we're gathering here in PT and we have number of groups of tens that are in the North, Revadim and in all kinds of places and they are not gathering as a ten anymore, there at the time of the convention. The necessity is to come here to Petach Tikvah?
R. I wouldn't discuss all these things and I never talk to them about these things. I don't know what to tell you and I don't know why you're turning to me?
S. Because what the friend brought before you right now is not about the physical gathering, it's about the friends who gather outside of here. You mentioned that they're not meeting in their ten like during the other times?
R. I am confused. I am confused.
5. S. (19:46) Is there a way to differentiate between the impression that I get from friends around the table, no matter if it's my permanent ten or not, and the actual spiritual structure that I want to connect to. Because I feel it's a very confusing point in the whole conversation with the regular ten or random ten? eventually as you said I want to connect to my spiritual structure, not to faces and not even the physical Impressions I get from the interactions on a daily basis. Is there some way or is there some inner request? Is there some direction to this?
R. Except for inner prayer?
S. Yes.
R. No, I think a prayer.
S. How do I know that I'm really connecting to that thing to that structure and not just like I'm feeling comfortable, like I tell myself, I'm connecting here with my friends, I feel the friends. How do I know that it's really that and I'm not just comfortable with my friends, because it's very confusing?
R. I'm not grasping your point nevertheless?
S. I want to connect to the spiritual structure that you talk about, not the faces but the sparks, the desires. I want this internal thing, it's not something I can grasp in my corporeal sense?
R. The inner structure during the Congress is one ten to everybody.
S. Okay. One level down, in the work in the ten that I'm relating to before me, around the table for the sake of this matter, I don't want to connect to the faces like you said or to the bodies but I want something internal?
R. You connect with them that through them you can connect to the general ten that we're talking about, that is called a convention.
S. Right, that desire I understand. But in practice I'm sitting in front of people that I have no interaction with?
R. You don't need any interaction, you need to have a goal; to be connected with them in one heart, in one goal, one intention, that's it.
S. Is there a need to be a certain mutual matter in this work or is it all in the attitude I bring to the table?
R. You want to be connected to them, in a way that there is no difference between you. No gap between you. That is what you want.
S. I'm sorry for being meticulous here but nevertheless, sitting before people here, human beings?
R. You're sitting in front of the desires.
S. Okay, I want to connect that to the desires? How do we do that?
R. That you don't look at their face, you look at the desire in the person, that desire is what you want to extract out of everyone; connect with your desire to their desires, and that mutual desire with all the tens around in the whole Congress and everywhere in the world, that is what you give to the Creator.
S. Okay but I feel like a lot of the time it's like an imaginary picture that I'm depicting to myself?
R. So for now it's imaginary until it is revealed; then it is not imaginary.
S. So that's the work to sustain that picture and establish it inside that picture that you are describing within?
R. Yes.
6. S. (24:13) During the regular lesson, our daily lesson, and during the convention it seems like the work is the same, meaning we're working with the general ten, friends ask questions we're connecting through their lacks and try to catapult there. I don't have any concrete work with those people that are sitting with me at the table. I came with them for the lesson, I connected with them maybe before with my permanent ten, I have some kind of interaction with them but during the lesson I'm in the general ten. Is it correct that observation, that point of view that during the lesson and in the convention we work with the general ten?
R. Not in the Congress?
S. In any lesson?
R. In the lesson I work with my private ten.
S. Private, what does it mean that I work with my ten? During the lesson I hear friends asking from all over the world Kli.
R. You hear it doesn't matter; but who are you working with? Who do you connect with? Who do you feel that you’re in contact with, that you draw forces from, that you're giving them forces? It's only your private ten.
S. Now a friend asks the question, not from my ten, what's my work? what do I need to do?
R. You have to connect to his question like a deficiency, yes, with your ten, not alone.
S. What's exactly that point?
R. You take your ten along with you, and connect to his deficiency and that deficiency raises to the Creator.
S. All throughout the lesson I need to be in the feeling and awareness that my ten is working as one body towards every deficiency in the world Kli that is being brought up right now?
R. Yes.
S. And, I have to hold it in my heart and not let it go the whole lesson?
R. Yes. Didn't we read this from Rabash? I don't know.
7. S. (26:47) I don't understand what's the difference between listening to the lack and absorbing the deficiency of the friend who asked the question with the ten or without my ten?
R. It is a huge difference: Am I incorporated in the ten and am I trying with my ten to incorporate in more deficiencies, external ones or am I not doing that? That is my whole work. The spiritual work is only to connect our desires towards connection and present them towards the Creator.
S. I understand what it is to incorporate in my ten. I understand what it is to incorporate in the lack of the friend who just asked the question right now. But what is it to incorporate in the lack of a friend that asks a question with my ten inside of me?
R. That you want to implement his deficiency in your ten.
S. What does it mean to implement his deficiency?
R. I don't see what he's asking. I don't know, let's say he asked about something so I described to myself how in my ten I'm implementing that question, I am performing that question. How do you think that you're connecting, tell me? How do you think that you are connecting?
S. What does it mean to operate from within the ten?
R. To operate from the ten is that I am as a private Sefira, and from my own private quality that is in the ten I want to activate the whole ten to implement my personal quality. So what am I doing it for? for being Incorporated with everyone, annulling towards everyone like Rabash writes in his articles about a person annulling before the ten; then I incorporate in them and with them I raise their deficiency with my ability ascent. Maybe it did not come out so clear but…
S. What I understand is that after I annul I kind of dissolve in the ten, now when I turn to the Creator and ask for the correction it is already with the ten that I was incorporated with?
R. Yes.
S. Okay, thank you, and then if I also absorb the lack of the friend that asked the question again because I dissolved in it then it comes to the whole ten and this action is from within the ten?
R. You are incorporating in all directions.
8. S. (30:50) On the same matter but maybe a few steps backwards: I heard you this week I think it was Shabbat saying that spiritual work begins where a person identifies his point in the heart. Meaning that each of us has to be a discernment of what my point in the heart is, and then whoever has this discernment he also identifies this discernment in others. But without that discernment there's no such thing that is called connection, the whole matter of connection is to identify it in me and then identify it in others the point in the heart. Now Identify in myself all kinds of desires, I have impressions from the writings from the lessons but I can't with my finger and say this is the point in the heart, I have an impression yes, these things are working on me but to say exactly what the point in the heart is, maybe you can give us some…?
R. No. That is not important, I can not. And also what you said doesn't have anything to do with the point in the heart.
9. S. (32:15) The convention is an opportunity that we received from the Creator all together that we can do something to benefit the Creator with?
R. Yes.
S. What can we give Him or present to Him. you said before that we can give something to the Creator, what can we present Him with?
R. We want to give the Creator a vessel, a deficiency that He can reveal Himself; and in that revelation we will feel a great pleasure. Because He's desire is to do good to his created beings. How can we reach such pleasure if our preparation will be in order to bestow, bestowal. Then His light, He, Himself the quality of bestowal will fill us up, we will enjoy from such an action and more than that we don't need.
S. And, the convention is our opportunity, why specifically those days of the convention we are capable of doing this?
R. We need to do that all days of the year, but it is desired that we at least do that.
S. That we each during these two days forgets about himself and think only about the whole Kli?
R. Yes.
10. S. (34:04) The question about this collection of desires, this collection of the desires is the permanent ten that operates upon me outside the lesson. Also during the convention we have not just lessons, we have meals, gatherings of friends and breaks, and during that time when I am outside of the lesson, do I return to my private ten or do I use that impression that I had during the lesson with my random ten? What am I working with? I’m sitting at the meal right now and the friends are around me with what point…?
R. No, in the meal you sit randomly with everyone and do L'Chaim and connect to everybody.
S. There's no work together with the friends during the meal?
R. Not with the ten, it’s with everyone. Because it’s a general action.
S. Also in the gathering of friends we also sit together..?
R. We're all as one ten.
S. You explain this earlier that to be in all the lacks that I am with my ten, until the annulment with them fill the questions that are being asked during the lesson for example. What action do I do, let's say in the time that we're all sitting together in the gathering of friends, and the friend opens his heart? what is my action, with what am I connecting in order to feel the friend that is opening his heart now in the gathering of friends?
R. The way he opens his heart personally, and individual action you too are connected to him in such a way.
S. And work, me directly before him?
R. Yes.
S. I'm not looking for some ten or some spiritual vessel?
R. No, I don't think so. Also in the meal you are sitting separately.
S. Specifically in the meal we have interaction between us.
R. I don't know guys, decide this on your own. You started to ask me and made me again as the organizer. That's not what I'm here for.
