1. Rav’s Introduction: The work faith above reason. We need to be on 2 levels, on reason and above reason and we have to respect both, because reason is that degree of man in this world and above reason when one tries to elevate himself to the degree of the Creator, to feel, to understand, to relate to everything to become oriented in reality like the Creator, and from these two levels we have to compose ourselves and the effort to invest, to put in effort in each and every situation. What does it mean to be in faith above reason? That is to try to rise above the egotistic desire which works in the person from nature, from childhood and it gave it the person the habit to see the world this way and you want to see it in a different way - in the form of bestowal, in the form of connection, in a way that you come out of yourself and you exist in others. You exist in the Creator, in the general force of bestowal, on the degree of Bina which has nothing for itself, only whatever is required for others. This actually is faith above reason, then to feel wholeness in this state, we do not need anything besides that. If you let go of yourself, then you already exist in a new reality, because your self was given to you only to feel that you exist outside of it. This is actually what we have to achieve. This is daily work. This is hard work because we have to constantly more and more repeat this part of this work, and the foundation of this work is in the connection. In a unique connection as we don't just connect like the mafia, but the person connects by elevating himself to the degree of others, to be included in others, as he does everything which seems to him as benefit for the others. This is one of the means to reach faith above reason - this is how we have to do exercises from one day to the next. So, let us approach through what Rabash writes to us and then it will give to us more light to guide us.

Excerpt 27 Reader “The blow that one perceives from the Creator...”(4:07 - 4:36) 

2. When the Creator brings the person some reason, different thoughts, desires search that the person does not feel himself as belonging to a spirituality, that he is like an animal, something that cannot work in spirituality; this is the blow the person receives. This is how the Creator gives him a foundation from which he has to start his elevation and this is what it says, the blow that one receives from the Creator, when He takes away the flavor, from the work he has no information for connection, nothing, but still something remains in him that awakens him and search envy and by this itself the Creator heals the person because then the person does not have any other counsel by which to serve the Creator for the degree of faith above reason. The person does not have a foundation, he does not have feeling, does not have attraction, neither in his mind or heart. He feels that something is aiming, pulling him, and then from the zero state that he has knowledge of how it is this is how it is developing from here. This work is hard, but on the other hand, this is the sign of a new degree.

3. He gives the person a new state to advance us further, to go to more connection above his feeling, about his understanding, so he has no foundations, neither by emotions nor by my mind I understand that I have to advance, but it's not according to this or that, I truly feel myself foggy. I do not belong to it, but there is some thought that remains nevertheless. This is what the Creator leaves there and this gives me the possibility to start a new towards the new degree. Then I go and I acquire it then I see that specifically it was that blow the Creator gave me, when he disconnected me from my feeling, from my understanding from my heart and mind, the intellect and emotion on the previous degree, that by this He heals me and He is elevating me more and more to the level of Bina.

4. It turns out that now I am without feeling in my heart and I have no thought in my mind. Regarding the spiritual state what Creator does to me this is the blow, and I need to work from this state to spirituality, to be yearning for connection, to faith, to the state of Bina as much as I am able to enter it and the picture as much as possible without any personal benefit. This is the foundation the Creator gave me so I can advance without any self-interest. Then I go forward. I will start to receive for sure a new emotion, new mind, on the level of Bina.  And then the Creator again does this restart, lowers my mind and emotions and then again I have to rise higher to new mind and emotions, which is more giving than before.  And then the Creator each time he strikes, gives me a stop, cessation for my mind, emotional on the actual level and I have to achieve it again and again and this is what happens on each degree. So whatever comes from the Creator, this is a new creation, new desire which the Creator reveals in me. This is a new egotistic desire and on top of it, I have to work and this is what happens each and every time. By this I am become a partner with Him, He starts creation on each degree. The Creator renews it, He says "I created the evil inclination" when I feel myself disconnected from spirituality and I start from that to advance myself to a new spirituality.

5. S. What does it mean that the righteous provokes it?

R. The Creator brings you down, but he doesn't really lowers you, he is elevating you with a new egoistic desire, a new empty desire for a higher degree, I don't have any emotion, feeling understanding of the new degree, because it is an egoistic desire, it cannot be oriented in spirituality which I've achieved a little bit.  So then I have to achieve on top of this new desire a new emotion, a new mind, so that I want to be connected with bestowal, bestowal is faith above reason, above the reason which the Creator established in me, a new will to receive and I want to be in faith, in bestowal, in spirituality, coming out of myself. What does it mean the degree of Bina that from Malchut I rise to Bina, from malchut to Bina until I enter Bina permanently, until all of these excursions, exertions I do more and more, until I, as it is called through "habit becomes second nature" and then I remain on the degree of Bina permanently and I already have a different kind of work, that I need to add to it, I need to add to it Malchut and I begin to already enter not from Katnut, from Aviut Shoresh and 1, but from Aviut 2 already.

6. S. (13:29) If the Creator revokes the flavour in the work, what does the righteous want, flavours?

R. The righteous should say, that whatever he receives also comes from the Creator, because all the states are coming from Him, none else besides Him, so I go with whatever I received from Him in each and every moment, whatever I received comes only from the Creator, and I need to rise above it to the degree of bestowal, connection, Bina, faith, so first of all when I receive it, it is from the Creator that's the first thing, second that I need to say, I need to relate to whatever I feel, that it is inviting me closer to the Creator and through the group I have to learn to work towards Him, to come close to Him as much as possible, to connect the whole ten and the Creator and myself together as one, and that way process it and every state that is given to me towards unity.

S. And what should I add?

R. You need to add connection in each and every state, you need to add connection and later you need to add to this connection the whole humanity, the whole creation, this is our work actually, because all in all by that you establish each and every time the vessel in a correct way, towards you this vessel is broken but it is not broken, only from the viewpoint of the person, so the person has to establish it has to raise Divinity from the dust.

7. S. (15:41) The states that you talked about, it can happen when the friends make exertions, but when he does not feel advancement he is immersed in the negative state, how can we help such a friend?

R. First of all we have to establish ourselves correctly, so if we have such a friend between us, it is a sign that we deserve to have such a friend between us, and then we have to work with this, all of us and not to think that this is the friend, this is his fault. If he is not corrupting the group if he's not against the connection, he is not truly outside of the path, but if he failed, if he was broken in some way, sick spiritually, then we need to strengthen him, we need to take part of his work on ourselves, we have to carry him on our back, and we have to try to heal him, we have to realize that it is not a blow he received but it is a blow the whole group received.  Then we will see that specifically the Creator is choosing such friends to strengthen the group, it is not done for a particular person so that he would be weak, confused, but He does it to the group, this is how we have to look at it, the Creator by this relates to the ten, not less, it is this how we can advance if we see this way, then we will see how much all the blows that we are receiving aren't received individually, all of them are awakening us and directing us to the goal, to connection to success.

8. S. (18:04) If we are the desire to receive, how can we work without reception and vitality?

R. In our connection, and we want to reach mutual bestowal, otherwise it is not connection, all of us want to connect to become connected in the ten, and then the ten serves it to the Creator as the field blessed by the Lord, this is the field between us, the place where the Creator can be revealed which is the general force of bestowal, we can only overcome between us.  Overcome our individual egos, but when we make this effort and as if we want to bestow to each other then the Creator bestows his light from above, Himself, the light.  Then it turns out our efforts for connection, it is in that deficiency in which the Creator can clothe into, and give us a connection and that quality of connection is filled in us as fulfilment, this is how we reach contact between us and with the Creator, together we need to feel this, and see that this is how it will be, this is how we acquire state after state, separation, connection from small Creator to greater Creator which is revealed between us, as a famous Kabbalist said, each day we have a new Creator, each time we discover new connection between us and in this connection ever higher light of love, bestowal appears, which is each time new.

9. S. (20:44) I can't get used to the thought that the loss of taste is nearing the Creator, how does the pleasure happen?

R. First of all when the Creator takes away all the flavor in life and you feel as an animal, you look at the word like this and you have no idea what is happening, no idea of what is going on before you, you don't know who you are, what you are, when everything is empty, everything is emptied from emotions at the moment, no understanding, no connection, it is like the connection disappeared within you, between all the different parts which used to put it together the picture of the world.  It is the Creator taking you out of the previous degree and wants to bring you to a new degree.  The difference between the degrees is that in each degree you relate to the components of the world, thoughts, desires, you relate to them with greater faith, with greater bestowal, with a greater exit from yourself rising above yourself.  This is what characterizes the elevation from one degree to the next, all the degrees are the same in degrees, even now we exist in the world of Ein Sof, and even now the Creator is with us, but we do not feel Him. In order to feel Him, to understand Him, this is what we have to do, to accept each and every state in a way that by this I am building the force of bestowal, and this is how we progress, sometimes I miss the words you have to help me to enter these states and search, and then we will have the words so we can understand each other better.

S. Concerning the habit, I cannot get used to losing taste in coming closer, this is why I run away from the work.

R. Your feelings are correct generally, but you need to understand the fact that the Creator is taking away the taste in order to bring us even greater tastes. So I would search and try to find flavor in a degree which is more empty than before, because it is more empty as my ego does not feel any flavor in it, and then I have to search how to bring a greater inclination to love, connection, excitement towards the friends, and then I will discover in it a new emotion, this is how it happens. This is why the Creator cancels the previous emotion and gives us an opportunity to bring new emotions, new mind, new information, more subtle than before, we can acquire greater sensitivity to raise the range, the degree of sensitivity towards bestowal to each other.  By that He is obligating us and we are obligating Him, this feeling of belonging to each other, to be connected to each other, and He in the end is revealed, it will come soon don't worry.

10. S. (25:37) In the degree when there is no taste, when we constantly reveal the loss of taste, what should we do?

R. Yes, we are searching for flavors, we are searching for fulfilment even on the degree of bestowal, I want to bestow, I want to advance, I want the field in the connection, later on I feel that I have no relation to connection, I have no flavour in connection, I have nothing, from where does this come? There is nothing that happens on its own. There is no such thing in nature. Everything is measured, everything is ticking in a very precise manner. The Creator takes the flavor, the Creator takes this state away as He wants us to build each time a new state in the lack of attainment, emotion, understanding, so we disconnect from Malchut and we connect to Bina, this way more and more.

S. Can we skip states?

R. Yes, absolutely.

11. S. (27:00)The force which will give each other greatness of the goal greatness of Creator, high spirit, is it not reinforcement into the will to receive?

R. It is true, but we are talking about the fact, the fact that we give each other support, reinforcement, it is correct due to the fact that you by yourself rise to bestowal above reception, faith above reason, because what you are saying it can be done egotistically, think about it.

S. What is the difference?

R. The difference is between the approach, what do you want to achieve by it?

12. S. (28:00) What does heal us from disconnection?

R. Disconnection from importance on the path, why should we heal from this, the problem is it we don't feel it.

S. If the person feels disconnected from the importance, how can one find the remedy to heal him?

R. The state is evoked in him to search for the remedy, he has to try with all his force to connect to the ten and in the ten try to search connection to the Creator and then he will get the remedy.

S. If the person doesn't feel that he is sick and the group feels that he is sick, in spiritual terms, can they heal him?

R. With the prayer.

S. Even if he doesn't feel sick?

R. Yes, the others can determine that he is sick. If the group determines it, but the person does not feel it, then the prayer from the group can activate the Creator so the Creator will influence the person and give him the light. This is actually a very advanced, very good state.

13. S. (29:32) If a friend falls, we have to activate the prayer to help, but what do we do if the prayer does not work?

R. There is no such thing that the prayer does not work. The fact that you didn't not see the result and may be the result is there, but you cannot see it, it is because you are mistaken in the way that you want to see some result. But the prayer to the Creator always works, it does not matter in which form, in which direction, but it does work - in each and every deficiency, even in the deficiency of the individual person without the ten, nevertheless it does work on the system of upper bestowal.

S. But in the end we would like the friend to come back but we don't see it?

R. Then it is your fault, you cannot activate the desire in such a way that the Creator would heal him.

14. S. (30:48) Where do we take the new vessels, new deficiencies, so the biggest deficiency will be only for joy?

R. Each helps each other, when you speak between you, by this you awaken each other and even if anyone is speaking not from the heart, not directly, not that he truly wants to connect and give, not that he truly wants to love, but the fact that we speak in such a way by that we awaken each other. It is like in this world with the media and all kinds of such influences, that people pass on to each other which are false, we also do that, that is how we start in such of artificial work in the ten each time, because each time we are awakening ourselves to a new degree of the ego which He wants to reveal in us in a new depth. So we start from the evil inclination, from falsehood, but bit by bit we are awakening our connection with the Creator even with false words, and then He bestows to us and gradually He takes us out of the ego and brings us to the truth. This is how it happens in each state, in each degree there are many nice verses about this is how the Creator delivers us from the evil state to the good state.  This is called that the mother comes and wipes the child clean, just like the mother who washes the baby and the baby who dirtied the clothing, this is how the degree of the Bina is performing corrections on us, and it does not matter by the action that brings out the dirt which is called the Klipot, the degree of dirt of the other side, so the degree of mother, Bina takes care of us and elevates us.

15. S. (33:42) I don't understand how to bring this tastelessness to the group as I don't want to increase the left line - how to do it correctly?

R. You have to read a Rabash article, how to behave in the group and do not ask me.

16. S. (34:07) What is the mechanism that causes a descent to come necessarily after an elevation, is it spiritual, emotional or psychological?

R. This is not spiritual, emotional or psychological, it will be revealed in such a way (emotional, psychological, spiritual) but it stems from the fact that the vessel, the complete vessel, was broken into pieces and those pieces are now waking up, one after the other, from light to heavy in order for us to connect them, this is correction, and correction is the connection so we put these pieces together into a complete system.

18. R. This means that we exist in a complete system, the end of correction - Adam HaRishon, everything is whole. However we have to discover it, the fact that we are in it, all of us, this is for sure, so why do we have to look at it this way?

19. WSQ (39:53): Why should we feel one time the left, another time the right, what do we get out of it that we feel both of these states on a path of development? Speak between you and most importantly it is between you.

20. R. We can see this as a place for testing, if I have a state where I feel darkness or state that I feel light, all my states in life, I get it from the Creator for sure. Then in all those states I feel equal, the same, only as a preparation as something that was given for work, for my reaction and with my reaction to the Creator. I do not care about the conditions he gave me, which I may feel as better or worse, confusing, this way or that way - it doesn’t matter. I am always happy that in every state in life I know that I got it from the Creator and this is the right state from which I have to relate to the Creator as the good who does good, and I begin a new degree from it. I begin to develop from it my feeling in faith above reason and therefore it makes no difference to me whether I feel the state as good or bad. I am above my feelings because it is inside my will to receive. So in every single moment I can, therefore, be happy that I received from the Creator that moment, that state, and now I can carry on.

21. R. In other words in the completeness of the work I am happy with any situation I get from the Creator, as everything comes from the Creator.

22. R. So there is no difference between these states because I received every state from the Creator then in every situation I have to feel completeness.

23. S. (51:41) In these emotions, are these states coming sequentially or is it like a soup which is kind of all one thing?

R. It is both, why does it matter? We have to understand that the person receives everything according to the upper light that operates on his soul, it arranges the states of the soul that has has to build itself, meaning he has to respond correctly by restricting the ego and with the reflected light that he wants to relate correctly to the Creator, and the Creator certainly gives to the soul, to the broken desire. He gives good bestowal in order to teach it how to be a part of the Creator, and therefore this desire that becomes the designer of the soul reacts in such a way, that it wants to bestow as well. It wants to be similar, it wants to receive everything from "None Else Besides Him" only as "good who does good", and in this way they come to a more mutual connection between them and more and more, until these things actually become revealed. Now we are truly on the boundary, on the border line after which we will begin to feel the connection between us and the Creator more tangibly as, "I am for my beloved and my beloved is for me.”

24. S.  (54:00) What does it mean that night and day are equal, is it my attitude, that I relate to the states like this?

R. In the beginning of the revelation of the new degree, I discover a state of say and a state of night, but afterwards, after I scrutinize it, I accept it as one. This is called the darkness shines as the day, and it does not matter for me how much it shines as long as I receive it from the Creator. And above that state I have to come to connection with Him; therefore, it does not matter at all to me if that state feels to me as good or bad. I only use that good or bad state in order to rise above them to the degree of bestowal to the Creator, to the degree of connection. This is how I build in me, in the meantime, the first spiritual state which is called Ubar, when I am inside the Creator regardless of the state which he awakens in me, this is called wanting to enter Him and being Him. If I connect to Him then no changes in my states influence me, whether they are good or bad I am connected to Him. This is the degree of the embryo, like the sperm entering the mother's womb and starts to develop there.

25. S. (56:12)  Between the right and the left there is great tension; sometimes it is hard to hold on with this tension. If I turn to the Creator through the group, sometimes all of my emotions disappear. I'm not certain what to do to advance from this state -what to add so that everything will not just disappear?

R. I have to try to be in states where as much as I go through all kinds of forms in my feeling, and even  in my understanding - I am above it attached to the Creator. Look at a baby in his mother's arms. It grabs her with both hands and doesn't want to disconnect from her. It feels that if it holds her, that is all the confidence, it's whole grip on  life, on its existence. This is how we also should see ourselves. So between us in the group and throughout the whole world Kli let's try to come to a stage where we help each other strengthen each other, reinforce and support, and being connected, attached to the Creator like a baby to its mother - not mattering that she is holding it, but to the extent that it feels that she is holding it and it feels a little freer but if it feels like she leaves it, it grabs her with all of its strength. This is our work for now and here we have to help each other in the ten and all of the ten should help each other.

26. S. (59:01) How can we understand that the conditions - that the evening and morning are equal?

R. I have to rise above my personal feeling because my personal feeling is inside my will to receive and therefore, of course, I feel the changes in the morning and the evening, I feel all of the changes. Each time as we rise and degrees we will feel these states more on the extreme, but it shouldn't influence us, it does but for our part we make a correction. This is called raising ourselves above reason, above our feeling in our will to receive and therefore to us it is as if there is no difference between morning and night, day and night or morning and evening, we attribute everything to the Creator so it doesn't matter for us what we receive as long as we are connected to him.

27. S. (1:01:01)  We were talking about completeness/wholeness. What does lack of wholeness look like - wholeness is when we exist above everything, so what is incompleteness, lack of wholeness?

R. Incompleteness as we don't feel ourselves connected to the Creator, we cannot connect between us, establishing a state between us that will give us the feeling of the Creator. When we don't feel the connection to the purpose of creation, when we can't picture the system that we are in; but that each one pictures whatever he wants in his personal egoistic will to receive it is called he who faults faults in his own ego, disqualifies the uniqueness of the Creator and creation, this is called an incomplete state.

28. S. (1:02:08) The left line seems logical so how can we correctly scrutinize the right line and how is that related to the ten?

R. We will talk about left and right later, first we have to bring ourselves to connection between us so there is no left or right there is only the connection with the Creator, afterwards we will begin to work with lines that we respond to it, right and left and we will strengthen ourselves like walking on two legs. This will come later but not today.

29. S. (1:03:10) This equality between the night and the day; it is parallel to the verse that we read that one should ever consider himself as half guilty or half innocent so that he will have freedom of having a choice?

R. No that is incorrect, that is a different state, forget about that for now.

30. S. (1:03:47) The difference that he is talking about, he says if there is a difference, how do you stand guard so it doesn't go to the outer one?

R. He maintains unity.  If it deviates towards some direction it already goes to the outer ones.

31. S. Is there a difference between saying that there is no reality except for the holy Divinity or depicting it as Baal HaSulam says, how do you portray it, what is the difference?

R. We have to imagine that this is so and that we exist in this because the inclination to see the world like this is already a prayer and therefore we should be in it all the time as much as we can, and above it. Just speaking a person can speak without any inclination, feeling or purpose, we just talk like politicians talk, they think about one thing and other something else.

S. It says in the sources I believed because I spoke and through speaking faith is engraved in the heart, so there's something to it. If I tell a friend that I love him, suddenly I do begin to love him.

R. Correct.

S. So depicting it and portraying it inside.

R. Begins from very small and far degrees. But anything that a person brings out builds an angel, it does something and that is how he advances. You are correct.

32. S. (1:10:27) Is our freedom of choice expressed in the fact that were drawn from the left to the right?

R. Yes, the fact that we want to shift from the left to the right this also is a part of our work, there is a part of the work where we awaken the left on purpose and from the left we want to move to the right and then we want to connect the two together, build out of the two the middle line. There are many kinds of work, we will go through them, for now we want to find the right way where the spiritual work begins, this is the state that we are actually in.

33. S. (1:11:48) What is the balancing point with an equal relation to the right and the left and how is this possible to realize it to have a hold on it is this called faith above reason?

R. Yes, that is correct. If it doesn't matter to me, if it's left or right, it's not that it doesn't matter but that I relate equally to the bad things and the good things. It doesn't matter to me, to what things, but because I get them from the Creator and I get all of those states. When I get those states, they stem from the root of my soul from the breaking of the soul that I went through, that beforehand so I receive everything as things that I had to receive this way and that is how they had to manifest. This is why I look at my whole life as an upper light awakening a broken Kli, a broken vessel, and all I need is to be in the middle, the right connector between the upper light and the broken vessel. This is how I see my life, my role.

S. How is it possible to strengthen this point; I feel that I'm constantly thrown out of this balancing point?

R. Ask the friends, ask from the friends, ask the friends that you will work like that all together. So that everything we receive, every moment, individually and collectively is the creator bringing us to the good state saying, take this. What is a good state? A good state means we know how to take it, but all the states are revealed from the roots of the broken root of our soul and, therefore, agreeing that everything is revealed for the best and we need to do is to perform the corrections in the connections between us and the Creator. This is basically the direction for success. 

S. He writes that has to establish the praise of the Creator before the prayer, but the prayer comes from the place of deficiency, the place of incompleteness. So how is there a prayer when one is able to praise?

R. I can’t praise the Creator when he awakens in me all kinds of deficiencies, it all depends on my strength, how much I don't surrender to these states that are appearing now. Everything that is revealed, I know how to work with it. I am in the group, surrounded by friends who are holding me and supporting me, and reinforcing me. I am just one out of the ten, and whatever is revealed to each of us is revealed to all of us together. We are like mountain climbers, we are all tight to one another, watching over each other. 

S. Again I want to try to make it more precise… If I already reach a state of praise, “None Else Besides Him” and “He is Good Doing Good”, if I am already in that praise, then where is the deficiency from which the prayer should emerge?

R. What praise? What are you praising?

S. Praise for the fact that is the supervisor…

R. So you praise Him, what do you need to do next?

S. This is what I am asking now, where is the true deficiency?

R. But you haven’t done anything with the situation now, you’re only thanking the Creator for whatever he is giving you. But that doesn’t complete the correction of the Kli. Where in these praises did you come to similarity, to equivalence of form? There are further steps to take. How do you advance?

S. First I thank Him, I am grateful for the oppositeness He is showing me…

R. You’ve done that already, next?

S. Then I ask to raise with Faith above reason, so this state is the best possible state, is it correct?

R. Let’s say yes for the sake of argument. It is a little too much, but let’s say yes. And?

S. So I am asking where is the prayer here?

R. You haven’t done anything yet, you only determined the situation, established it. You got it from the Creator, nor that you worked, now what? Basically, you haven’t done anything by yourself other than determining the situation. So?

S. So what is the continuation from here?

R. You need to continue from here. You determine I got it from the Creator” that is my initial point, He showed me a bad situation, now what do I do? So, you see, here, the work on your part only begins…

S. Rav, what should happen in the ten in this depiction that Baal HaSulam is talking about, if we already receive the reward? 

R. If you feel in the ten and the Kli that you already receive the reward, what is the reward you receive from the Creator?

S. Not to become confused between the deficiency and the fulfillment. 

R. I don’t really understand your questions. There is some sort of a disconnect here.

34. R. A person should establish the praise of the Creator and then pray, clearly while he establishes the praises he says that the Creator is good that does good to the bad end to the good and that he is merciful and gracious. At that time it cannot be said that a person is deficient, meaning that he lacks something whether in spirituality or in corporeality.  Otherwise it means that he is merely saying but his heart is not with him, meaning it is not from the heart, meaning in the heart he thinks differently from what he says with his mouth in short he is lying. For this reason it is impossible to sing and thank the Creator and say that he has virtues, but a person says about himself as abundance and lacks nothing. How can one say so when he finds himself bare and destitute. Baal HaSulam says about this, that a person should depict to himself as though he has already been rewarded, with complete faith in the Creator - meaning the complete degree of Bina, understanding that the Creator leads the world in a manner of good and doing good entirely. This is what he feels in the degree of Bina, although when he looks at himself and the world with these vessels not according to the degree of Bina, that he pictures for himself seeing him in the whole world that is deficient because he's certain that it’s your fault, in your own defect. The world can't see better than the way I see myself. Each according to his degree, he should say about this, they have eyes and see not. Because each one sees out of his own corruption meaning above reason. This is how he has to see the world, that the world is filled with abundance and in this way he can say that he is a complete person although it doesn't feel that way. Only above reason and lacks nothing, naturally he can establish the praise of the Creator above reason.

35 S. (1:23:31) What is a place first of all?

R. A place is called the Creator, because he is the place of the world. 

S. So what precisely should I pray to?

R. If we speak about the person's relation to the place, it is the person's relation to the Creator.

S. So I should pray to change my attitude to Him?

R. You should pray for anything that you are lacking so as to be in wholeness with the Creator.  Scrutinize in what kind of incompleteness you are with Him and pray for it to disappear, because you want to be in completeness, and wholeness. How in wholeness? By correcting your qualities, your feelings, your thoughts and actions, every single thing so that you will see all of reality is perfect. Then you will see that the Creator dresses and all of reality. We can't reveal the Creator unless he is closed in our desires, revealed in the attributes, revealed in the world, only in this way.

S. So when he says this is what I can do but only above my reason?

R. Above reason is still from the reason, but it is a reason Bina, it is in Malchut which rose to Bina.
