Baal HaSulam. Peace in the World (The Attribute of Singularity in the Egoism Affects Ruin and Destruction)

1. R. (3:18) Meaning, the bigger ego and according to that a person can be greater, even though it can be for the good or the bad, and that's the problem. So, the singularity of the ego affects ruin and destruction, that's clear, we see that in all cases in our world.

Reader continues (03:52) Using the Nature of Singularity as the subject of Evolution in the Collective and in the Individual

2. R. (11:24) But for our essential life form that we must reach it was decided even before we disconnected from the upper force and we must develop until the form that he is telling us in the next part, the condition of life in the last generation. What do you want to ask specifically according to this, nothing else but this?

3. S. (11:56) How is it possible to discern between the singularity to egoism?

R. I use the singularity only for the benefit of the common, of the collective.

4. S. (12:13) It says, “how is it possible that the singularity that comes to us from the unique one which is the source of all construction will be used as the source of all destruction”. So, how could it be that the world be corrected in such conditions?

R. Every force we have in nature, every phenomenon, we have a positive and negative usage. It depends on who you can use it. Either for the benefit of the common correction, for the Creator or the opposite, for the benefit of the ego working in the created beings, that's it.

S. The question is how can we correct the world in such irrational conditions, very difficult conditions?

R. I understand what you're saying and it all depends only as much as we're aware of this. If we understand that this state is essential and whether you want it or not, this is the way it's supposed to be, and it won't help you even to die, you will need to do this no matter what. It all depends on your environment. As much as the environment can strengthen you and aim you in the right direction that you understand it's right but you have no forces, they say, “you're right you have no forces” but along with us you can obtain this and you agree that is the best and the correct thing. So we’ll go together.

S. What is the root of these two extremes?

R. That The Creator wants us to be like Him and the created beings be like Him. For this they need to be connected to the opposite form from Him. That's why He created the will to receive instantly. He says, “I created the evil inclination,” and that's it, now c’mon, go ahead, develop. It's very simple. You are in the opposite desire of me so acquire upon your desire a form that's similar to me, and according to that you will be called Adam that resembles the upper one.

S. Without these conditions it's impossible to achieve the form of the Creator?

R. Except for the method we're speaking about, you can't reach it. People who have reached this, they write to us about it. We learn with hope that the Creator will do the same with us.

5. S. (15:29) In the beginning of the article, I'm seeing some contradiction because the good and bad both have the right to exist and at the same time, we need to correct the bad one. So the connection is not eliminating the bad one?

R. We need to reach a state that the good and bad things will participate with each other in order to aim the person, the middle line, to be aimed exactly to resemble the Creator. The good and the bad, the left and the right, will aim us to go in both and we’ll be included in both; and in this way we can resemble the Creator. That is called, “and you will be as God knowing good and evil".

6.S. (16:35) He writes here, “the conditions of the last generation is a time of peace and bestowal upon others”. So it seems like there are only two conditions here: peace and mercy. These two attributes. What about truth and justice?

R. It's all included in it, if you bestow to the others, you reach it all.

S. All the attributes are included in bestowal?

R. In bestowal, the measure bestowal includes it all. You have to incorporate in the other to know what's good for him, to what extent, how to relate to him like the Creator and so on.

S. Why does he also mention the attribute of peace, here?

R. Peace is the final state. the completion, wholeness, perfection. That's the name of the Creator.

S. Before that he wrote that peace itself is insufficient?

R. Because that's before the corrections. If you want to reach peace, you see what's happening. But if you see peace between all parts as perfection, wholeness, then by this, you're bringing the system of Adam HaRishon back to the right way, to its completion, so that’s good.

S. So, peace comes after bestowing to others?

R. It's at the end, yes; that's what we're yearning for. “Peace,” Shalom comes from Shlamut, wholeness, perfection. It's the name of the Creator, He is the final state.

7. S. (18:42) How can we use the singularity to influence others? Because we say that in order to bestow, I have to nullify myself. Is it not a contradiction?

R. No, we’ll work on it.

8. S. (19:02) What does it mean to use the singularity to bestow to the Creator?

R. That I'm the only one who can bestow to the Creator and then after me, I draw everyone in.

9. S. (19:14) How is it possible to protect bestowing to society so that I won't take advantage of everyone?

R. The main thing is that I want to draw everyone towards the Creator. The Creator is the force of love and bestowal. If that's the way I will do it. It will all work out.

10. S. (19:38) What's the correction of those who already use the singularity to bestow to others positively. Now, we say there are 10% of altruists. What is their correction?

R. They're altruists in a low degree, in a limited way. And even though they are in society, it could be that they are only confusing society. All their actions are also coming from a unique ego that gets such a form.

S. What is their correction?

R. They're correction comes, later on, to acknowledge that that measure of bestowal in them is not true and they have to find the true form, meaning to work against the ego in awareness.

11. S. (20:33) Do destructive, negative urges always accompany human society? Will they always be in human nature and how to use them correctly?

R. Until we correct them, until we correct them it will be this way, why should it be otherwise? the bad things will always be revealed and that is for our good. We just have to be prepared and if they are revealed, it means we are ready for it. Then, just in our correct attitude towards them, we will jump on and correct them.

12. S. (21:45) In relation to the altruists, all those altruists that Baal HaSulam mentions are egoistic altruists?

R. Of course! What’s motivating them? What, they corrected themselves? They have any bestowal?

S. It’s people who enjoy bestowing to others?

R. You know what? Try and stop them from bestowing, they will kill you. Because for them, that is a means for them to attain their pleasure. Just like for a mother who can’t give something to her baby, as much as she suffers. She is willing to kill you if you disturb her in taking care of her baby, you, see? It's worse to not give her what she needs rather than not letting her take care of her baby. That's why all those altruists, that's how we call them in “quotes.” What altruism is there? They're just in this way, fill their ego, and they can be even more cruel. Look at them going out to streets like that “Greta” and all those crazy people that want to flip over the world and so on. It's a big force because they are not aware that they are working from their big ego, they're not even aware of that.

S. On the other hand, Baal HaSulam writes so they're like an example, that we're moving towards the right kind of singularity. Does it mean that in the past there weren’t even such people?

R. As much as we advance, humanity will let go of all of these forms; that we see are the will to receive. Look how they go into all these parades and all these protests. It’s in the ego and they're crying out “we want equality,” it’s all from the ego. It just confuses people and stops humanity from knowing the evil.

S. Today on planet Earth in our reality, there are no people that nature somehow put them in bestowal?

R. There is no bestowal. Man is in the will to receive no matter if he does actions that seem to you as nice, it is all from the ego.
