Part 1:

1. Rabash. Article No. 12, 1984. Concerning the Importance of Society

https://kabbalahmedia.info/sources/r0GUBxQQ

1. S. (11:38) What are bad weeds in our environment, what are the bad weeds that we need to uproot?

R. Man is called the tree of field, and we understand that if we want to grow some kind for success then we have to clean the field from any other thing that might ruin our plans, to grow the right crop, that's how we do this, we do it in life. If I want my kid to grow in a certain way in a good way, in a certain style then I look for that kind of environment that can provide that kind of influence and affect him this way. That's what we do, that's what we try to do, same thing here. If we are in a plan to grow ourselves as well as our kids and our grandkids and we want them to grow in a certain way then accordingly we need to prepare the ground for them. This is called preparing the field.

S. What on my behalf is that I come, I have an environment, we have an environment here around us, we're developing and growing. How do I as far as I'm concerned, what is the bad weed that I can say to myself it's harmful to us, that as far as I'm concerned does not contribute to the goal for me?

R. No, such people that are completely resistant to our direction to grow and develop they begin with almost never happen to come to us. But still we need to see that each and every friend is truly in the same direction that our teachers set for us and that's important. It's important because we realize that by that we can promise ourselves to reach the right goal.

2. S. (14:50) Can you please explain this first sentence in the article?

R. What?

S. I'll read it. It is known since a person is always amongst people that have no connection to the path of Truth.

R. Okay so he’s no longer talking about us here and he says, he speaks generally.

S. Okay so on the second another paragraph he says, the one who sits in a city where there are bad people and cannot observe Torah and Mitzvot and does not succeed in Torah and Mitzvot he uproots himself from there and moves to a place where they're good people of Torah and Mitzvot, then he writes that again a little later. What is this action of if a person feels that he's not succeeding in the Mitzvot of the Torah in good actions because his environment does not give him the forces necessary. What does it mean that he uproots himself and moves to an environment where there are righteous and good people and then he can observe the Mitzvot of the Torah? What is that action?

R. What is this action? Did you ever go to Bnei Baruch? I lived there for many years, many many years and it's a different life, different spirit.

S. Is he writing about them or us?

R. He writes about these and those, how much they can't connect and can't mingle with each other.

S. He writes here in the matters of the work on the path of Truth the person needs isolation from other people. Then he interprets isolation is where he's in thoughts of the single authority called bestowal and not the self-love which is multiple authorities. Why is isolation being in the single authority?

R. Because then I want to determine by myself where am I going and what am I drawn towards, what am I reaching. A society that thinks differently influences me from outside and whether I like it or not I mingle with them.

S. I'm asking if we can interpret this article internally that he is not talking about Bnei Baruch, that he is?

R. No, if a person divides into two parts in favor and against the Torah we're good with what he writes.

3. S. (18:17) He's cautioning us here, he's warning us from all these viruses that are outside, a big part of us works outside we're going around there. How do we be cautious from all those viruses because we can't isolate ourselves?

R. He writes this in 1984, that's when we began to establish the society. Therefore we have to understand if it's even possible to understand what existed back then. What kind of relationships and conditions and it's not exactly what we want what there is today. We lived in such a way that it wasn't clear to everyone what is correct and incorrect and what is corporeality and spirituality, and how big is the gap between carrying out the common people's actions of Torah and Mitzvot and carrying out the spiritual practice. We don't exactly understand the background and the context of what's written.

4. S. (20:12) It seems to me like the best example is Yoshi Ben Kisma who was great in the Torah, but he gave up all his money and gold that he had been given and adhered to Torah and his students. The question is actually where do we take such forces, such ability to adhere to the friends, the society and not be tempted in things that seem better. How do you get that inner strength to be able to do that?

R. I think it's not that difficult a person needs to arrange for himself the importance of things because that's the main thing in life, what's more important than what is less important and accordingly he determines, and he decides.

S. Even when they're actually very big temptations and he's offered, again I'm taking the example from Yosi Ben Kisma. I think it's so special that this person, his greatness and nevertheless just wanted his students and just the Torah and not to give up anything else even though he was great in the Torah.

R. First of all a question, what do I need to achieve? As it's written a person needs to go to the cemetery, sit on a rock and think what needs to become of my life if I do a self-scrutiny.

S. I don't see that we're quite doing this and it’s right there's plenty to do. A person doesn't ever leave with half of what he wants still missing. We see, we are expressing ourselves, being tempted on our daily life where people's heads are today?

R. What, what can you do, this is our nature, and we have to strengthen ourselves as much as we can to be still a bit better aimed in our life. Otherwise life goes by very fast, and you remain without the right conclusion. Therefore we have to say that only the environment can promise us that we will be aimed correctly over the course of years towards the right direction. No other choice.

5. S. (23:47) The matter of connection which we see is the essence of the work of the heart is an internal thing, it's what happens inside of a person. If a person like Baal HaSulam writes that all the religions can join this work as long as they have a common goal which is love of others. If we see someone in our society who is observing other traditions of his own faith, is there something we should be cautious about worried about, do I have to be careful, worried about it?

R. I don't think that such people will come.

S. We had a friend that left not too long ago for some reason because he saw that he's not accepted in that way. He came to us when he was in Bnei Baruch. He came from the United States after many years when he was abroad, and he came, and he studied with us. He really believes in the inner path, but he also has a tendency to be part of that religion which he feels belongs to and he practices it as well. The question is do we hear and need to be worried about such a friend and pay attention to something that he could somehow impact us in a bad way?

R. No, we can try to make room for him. I once visited the Yeshiva of Ohr Sameach, joyful light, have you heard of that? We used to be something very known in my time. They would bring people back to become that they would make people become religious. There was a young powerful team of teachers there and they would go to India, to all kinds of places where Israelis went, they would come back with all kinds of ideas that as if that place were some sort of a cleansing spot for them. I was somewhat connected to them back then and I knew them well. That was a place where such people were intended to be, so people would come and pray and all kinds of ways and it's just hard to describe, it's after people go through absorbing all kinds of techniques and methods but we're not built for that. Typically the people who come to us, they should know that they want to open to themselves the path that is more or less according to Baal HaSulam and advance towards recognition of the spiritual world.

S. The question is whether this external form of his observing I'll say even if I could say there's a Muslim friend who comes. He's used to from his youth to pray five times a day to wake up in the morning to do like this and like that?

R. Let him pray.

S. There's nothing in it that bothers us?

R. Nothing that is a problem, besides Islam is not considered idol worshiping ,is no opposition really between Islam and Judaism.

S. Maybe in order for us to be clean and purified in this article here, what do we really need to be cautious about, we have a friend or another friend that has a certain tendency developing in a disclosed manner, and he has his own religion that he's keeping just like a Muslim who keeps his religion? Does it bother us or not?

R. No it shouldn't bother us and actually it shouldn't bother him too. It's like you're sitting with your friend, and he likes to eat fish and meat but you like parsley with hummus, there is no actual contradiction, so you understand. I think Baal HaSulam writes about this too in a few places. In short there is no contradiction.

S. There are just more friends that feel closer, let's say to observe their religion and the question is for them not to feel uncomfortable or comfortable to remove the strain?

R. No no, there's also a place right here in the second floor. There is the place here where people can pray whenever they want, and those who follow the rules of the Islam can also bring whether it's a small mat and do it here, whatever they need, sure no problem.

S. Rav, what do we need to be cautious about? What are those bad weeds that can take us somewhere else? If we could somehow be precise in this?

R. One thing we have to be worried about is if he is drawn to the love of friends or not. If he's willing to observe it or not with all the people in the world. All the rest he understands that things need to work out. The Lord will help .

6. S. (30:55) The wandering weeds, the tumbleweeds, is that my thoughts that are going around?

R. Yes.

S. That's what I was kind of confused because if these tumbling weeds are my diverted thoughts like they say if someone comes to kill you, you can kill him first, but to be in that knowledge that my war is with my thoughts?

R. With yourself.

S. Exactly just to understand that there's some force that is changing my thought, that's the way I am being used. The question is how do I help the society so that it will grow more because I understand that this is my salvation from these wandering weeds?

R. You should first think in whatever environment a person is in, he has to think about how to not hurt his society, so I have to live with them, incorporate with them and see myself to what extent I'm with them together in some, some connection. Then see how can we truly be more connected according to the goal of life and the tools for that and that's how we get closer to each other.

S. Yes we have a gift tomorrow we have this convention?

R. Yes, tomorrow and the day after we're going to make an effort to do great inner work, to open our heart to each and every friend and thus make a big leap forward.

7. S. (32:59) I will continue my friends, he's describing the work in the field and all that comes out of that and he says, that this this war that we're in, he calls it isolation, I lost the excerpt, and he says that he calls bestowal the single authority and self-love he calls it the multiple authority and this is the point that we need to, that's the main war?

R. Yes.

S. How do we enter the single authority?

R. That we only think of how to bestow warmth and love, how we connect to the Friends, how do we connect to the friends that are in the environment, what are we willing to give for that. That's our work. If we try to behave this way then of course we will succeed, yes, yes go ahead.

8. S. (34:44) First of all thank you very much. All that the Creator gives you he also gives you the tools to deal with it because He is The Good That does Good. Therefore he does not fail anyone, thank you to Him for this. My question, is the root of the soul what defines the place of a person in Malchut of Ein Sof?

R. Yes.

9. S. (35:12) He writes here about isolation that he is in thoughts of the single authority which is called bestowal and not the multiple authority which is self-love which is called two authorities, meaning the authority of the Creator and his own authority. We say on the other hand that a person needs to be in None Else Besides Him and, if not for myself then who? That if he wants to earn a living, and when he is doing that, he has to be in that, if not for who. What is the difference between those two things and being in dual authority?

R. He exists in himself.

S. Where is the Creator if he is inside himself?

R. That's where he is with the Creator.

S. What do you mean, even where I am, if not for myself then who, then he is with the Creator?

R. Yes. If not for myself then who, yes but why is he doing that? Means forces and to know what is the goal for which he's doing it, if I'm not for myself then who? That he guards himself from all the foreign influences and instead of all the world's influences he chooses a small, compressed environment that becomes his close circle and with it, he breaks through all the boundaries and breaks free.

S. Meaning the thought of why and for what he's going to go and earn a living? The very thought of that is what sustains him in None Else Besides him even though he seemingly is intermingling with the general desires?

R. Where does he mingle with the public?

S. He goes outside, and he feels very exposed to all that's around. The question is?

R. In what respect can I mingle with them? I don't know what and what can I mingle with them, tell me.

S. Today you're very exposed to the general public's opinions even externally you see publications and advertisements?

R. This indicates how far you are from that internally. I don't know. I was never mixed with the external world, no. In the beginning it was because I didn't know that much Hebrew and afterwards and then in general. this culture this Israeli culture was a bit strange for me even though I used to like some of the songs and some other things but not that much.

10. S. (38:52) My fuses are ignited right now. I know there's Christians Muslims, all sorts we have from all the world. After all we're diversified with all those things, religions etc. and then the question comes, tell me the Torah was given to the Jewish people okay?

R. No.

S. Why not, who was it given to?

R. It wasn't like there was a Jewish nation that existed before the reception of the Torah.

S. I'm sorry?

R. I'll say it again for you. Before this people received Torah, it didn't exist as a people rather the reception of the Torah and carrying out the Torah made that group into a people.

S. How can you actually explain that most of the Kabbalists who are with the beard, Jews or maybe I'm mistaken I don't know, and the majority of them where you can say it costume or whatever you want to call it. When we're talking about the history of the Kabbalists they were Jewish religious people. How can you explain that?

R. Because in truth there is a group inside humanity that was more suitable for the reception of the Torah and that's why that group accepted it.

S. Meaning according to what you're saying I heard Baal HaSulam says, we shouldn't bother anyone if they're Muslim or Christian or whatever they are to do their work, they can continue to use their religion. As you say a Jew, a Muslim and a Christian and the main thing is to deal with what he's doing and not bother him. What does he mean that each continues with his religion, and we will continue seemingly?

R. In their customs.

S. Exactly how can you explain such a thing, what's their traditions?

R. Why not?

S. I'll say why not. I'm sorry for opening this up but I have to kind of open this up. We have many holidays, Shavuot, Pesach, all kinds of holidays. Another religion they have Easter, their whole thing and all those Holidays, how can you connect these things? Meaning nevertheless each is in his nationality and where we're actually being told that there's something above these religious, above these traditions above these so-called Commandments that the religious Jews or religious Christians, I'm completely confused in this. How can you make order of this?

R. I don't think this is the time for it. That's just your confusions and if you have and if you're confused why do we need to all engage in that now?

S. No it's not just confusion, Baal HaSulam says each can keep their religion and they can use this, and it won't bother anyone, and they can continue to do the work, as if there's something that's above everyone from above all the religions?

R. Before the people of Israel received the Torah, all over the world there were still all kinds of customs, but they were like totems how to put it, they were different kinds of idol worshiping in different groups and it wasn't actual religion, and all of the religions as we know them began from the people of Israel that received the Torah and then didn't properly keep it. Therefore they kept all kinds of customs and rituals. Well, that's how it all was all broken, became broken but basically you could see in Christianity and Islam and dozens of other small religions, if we could actually call them religions or belief systems, they're all resulting from the Wisdom of Kabbalah. Meaning that what the Creator gave to that group is called Israel. Meaning what actually unites all those rituals, all those religions, all of those that they're following, what?

R. That they follow a single G-d.

S. Meaning no one is actually going to bother us from drawing the reforming light from what actually?

R. No one prevents it.

S. What are all the religions going to draw the reforming light, they are sitting in all these different religions. How do you draw the reforming light in us and actually in the whole world?

R. They should turn to the Upper Force.

S. That he's the landlord, let's say.

R. Well, yes let’s say he is the source of everyone. They should turn to Him and receive from Him.

11. S. (44:44) He writes here that from this we will understand the benefit of a society that can bring work that is only in order to bestow. How is the atmosphere of in order to bestow built?

R. How do you build a society that has the atmosphere of the spirit of bestowal?

S. Yes.

R. It appears in a way that everyone wants to help the other, everyone is close to the other, everyone thinks about a single goal, a common goal as written to us.

S. (45:38) There's a feeling here that there's a very special atmosphere here, also the Convention there is a feeling that kind of draws a person, and you feel like you just flow with it but whatever it is like the air is like it is thicker in order to bestow?

R. That depends on the intensity of thoughts and desires that everyone has and everyone together. The fact that everyone is inspired that's one thing, but the fact they want to connect in their thoughts, desires and goals to each other and to turn that work into something big, something great, something huge that's their work that depends on them.

S. And what's the difference with coming and demanding connection or demanding the light in order to bestow?

R. Demand connection is that they only want to connect between them that could be in any other environment. It could be in a soccer group, and they go out to a game, and they want to be connected in order to play well with each other but for us we want to be in a connection as one man in one heart which means we all have the same goal. We all have to reach that goal.

S. How can you refine our goal when we're working on connection so it will be really precise?

R. You have all the materials about this.

S. Let's say now, a convention is coming so that we could be united as one man in one heart, but we probably need something additional?

R. No, if we carry out as one man in one heart we actually flow in the same direction.

12. S. (48:01) Sometimes we learn that a Kabbalist needs, let's say, one leg in doing his work in let's say the normal society, and then the other leg you need to be in the spiritual society. How do you explain that, let's say isolation?

R. How should we conduct our life and hold onto that? That is sometimes a problem for a person but if I feel myself connected to my society and what's important to the society, the goals, even what's customary to do, I feel like I have no contact to anything besides my society and that's how I advance. I can't be manipulated in all kinds of wide things, let's say.

13. S. (49:33) How do we draw the light such that it will bring the great, dissipate all the terrible poisons in the ground? How do we draw the light, how do we draw the light so that it awakens the powerful minerals in the ground? How do we draw the light to strengthen our environment actually?

R. We want to be in a society that Baal HaSulam tells us how to build it. We want to make room for each and every one and in terms of how we connect to each other, and we certainly want to be connected as one man in one heart to one Creator and to all our teachers, to follow their path exactly. Then we are certain that we ultimately will reach the goal, ultimately we'll reach the goal. Make an effort now let's say towards the upcoming Congress and you'll see how even a single common effort, but it has to be a common effort, how much benefit you get out of that and how you absorb such thoughts desires insights qualities, new emotion, new emotion. What seems to you as unrealistic now, suddenly becomes real but this has to be with all of your currently available desires.

Reading Continues “And for which we have no fuel for the work...”

14. R. (05:02) Meaning everything only depends on the greatness of the friend, the greatness of the Creator. In such a way we can reach bestowal, and this will be felt by us as reception. It's very interesting, that I give to someone and by that I feel that I receive, how can that be? He explains to us here, Rabash, that there's no problem here, it all depends on appreciation. That's what we need to change within us. We think this thing is far away and when do we get there? What kind of strength do we have to receive from above that will change us? All we need is one thing: That what is great in my eyes will be the Creator, the friend, and then I have no problem. I, giving, becomes receiving.

15. S. (06:52) What's the difference Baal HaSulam talks about, the ten percent that maybe, like naturally altruistic, as we could call them, where they operate in bestow in order to receive and yearn. In this article the situation where we bestow to the Creator but eventually, it's also in order to receive. What's the difference between this and that?

R. They were born with their nature, and we haven't. That's the first, and there's other things too.

S. We are developing that quality of bestowal?

R. We want to develop within us the quality of bestowal, yes.

16. S. (07:53) At least in my ears what I heard is that all that is written here is to bestow in order to receive, we do this every day in everything. Every process of connection with a person naturally, is to bestow in order to receive. What can I give him or what can I do in order to receive more? I don't understand how that has anything to do with spirituality. Spirituality is supposed to be receiving in order to bestow, completely the opposite like that?

R. You are right.

S. What is our whole work here that we need to correct here?

R. If I, with my will to receive, I relate to everyone that I wish to fulfill my will to receive. If I know that my will to receive is my enemy, my hater, then I will use it as little as possible. Then instead of it I hear that if I treat someone in bestowal that makes me similar to the Creator. Then, by being similar to The Creator, the light of correction is bestowed upon me which corrects me. It transforms me into something truly similar to the Creator, we begin to be a bestower and that's how we advance.

S. Meaning here, you're adding something that's not written in the article. That the whole process we're doing in order to receive and to come to correction is not to go to an important person and bestow to them, because I will always want to bestow because I'll receive more. We need to refine that point where, actually we’re the will to receive and we need to find how to correct ourselves by the reforming light. Otherwise, this whole article is how to develop more specific sophisticated egoists?

R. Yes.

17. S. (10:33) Rabash writes that if you knew how great the Creator is we would want to bestow to Him?

R. Yes.

S. The question is how do I know how great He is if I have not revealed Him yet?

R. That’s true but we can get an impression from the friends. How do I conduct my life? What, in my life, do I think about all kinds of things as big, small, or wanted or undesirable? It is only according to the environment. Therefore if we come to an environment that appreciates the Creator or love of friends, let's say. Then I can fulfill these things easily, that's what it's about.

18. S. (12:04) The matter of bestowal it’s without reward, right?

R. What do you mean it is not a reward?

S. To bestow, one of the conditions of bestowing is that he works for the benefit of something outside of his body without reward for himself.

R. Without reward, that is without an exchange, that is already a spiritual action.

S. Right, that's what I'm asking because here he says that if he considers or appreciates the King and makes Him greater in his eyes, then giving to him already is as an act of reception. He receives knowledge, pleasure, life, filling, vitality as he calls it. Why is that vitality not canceling out the matter of bestowal, which is as we said, one of the things of bestowal is without receiving for himself?

R. But he can't cancel his desire to not receive.

S. What's the trick here?

R. The trick is simple that he remains in order to receive, however the King should be great in his eyes.

S. Meaning the thing is when he starts to bestow and if he feels that there's no flavor in this work in overcoming the taste, overcoming the work, and working above that, then he can receive and there would be nothing that makes it flawed?

R. Yes let's say.

19. S. (13:44) When a person starts on the path and he's explained this matter of receiving and bestowing, he starts to think that all day long he's bestowing in order to receive. All day long he's caring for others, but he gets a feeling from that?

R. No, he doesn't make that kind of calculation. This is his body that makes this calculation, subconsciously.

S. Yes, that's exactly what I wanted to ask about. Because it seems to me that when we're reading this article, there's a certain stage along the way from receiving in order to receive, a person who moves to bestowing order to receive. It sounds like a stage according to what I understand from the article actually, that it's a necessary step or stage?

R. Yes.

S. Why is that stage so necessary? What is in this stage that a person along the way has to go from receiving in order to receive, to bestowing in order to receive before he comes again to true bestowal?

R. To bestow in order to receive teaches him how to bestow and he is given fuel in order to receive so as to learn what bestowal is.

20. S. (15:33) How does he advance from that stage if he learns how to bestow, and he has fuel? How does he come to bestow in order to bestow, what will advance them there?

R. What is the difference between what he had before and what he will have?

S. He was receiving vitality for himself from bestowing, but we know according to the definition of bestowing is not to receive any benefit for oneself. I understand we're moving from there and I have to advance to bestowing in order to bestow. What advances him from this stage to that step?

R. What is he lacking here?

S. Maybe the vitality has to be taken away from him?

R. What to give instead of that, greatness of the Creator.

S. The vitality was taken, the greatness of the Creator?

R. He didn't have it.

S. He didn't have the greatness of the Creator, so what did he have? What in the article gives him the force to work on, he says because the King was great in his eyes?

R. The King is great in his eyes, that is why he's willing to give the King everything according to the greatness of the king in his eyes. What it allows him and pushes him to do.

S. What is the next step, how do we move from here onwards, how does the Creator advance us onwards from this step, from this stage?

R. The Creator needs to give us a possibility to bestow in order to bestow.

S. What are the new conditions He gives us, what is the from the previous state?

R. He gives us power, energy and fuel to bestow even though I feel no fulfillment out of that.

S. Meaning He lowers the greatness of the King in my eyes?

R. Yes.

S. Now I have to act within myself for this?

R. Yes.

S. This already becomes bestowing in order to bestow?

R. Yes.

21. S. (18:08) Also the previous article and this article, it’s a struggle a person has on the importance of the goal. The whole war of who I should crown, you can't have two kings and one crown, right? A person can't have two important things, sometimes the reason, sometimes the religion, some sport and some food and who knows what else. Except for, and you said earlier that everything depends on the greatness of the friend and the greatness of the Creator and then when he delights the friend then the Creator is felt in him as receiving. You can say in one breath, the Creator, the friend without a differentiation. How can we look at a friend as an important King and to think of the importance of the friend and, in the same way, in the same breath, like this look at the greatness of the friend and to receive forces from there? Because sometimes with the Creator we get confused, and we imagine all kinds of things that are not really things that you can hold on to?

R. We have to first achieve the greatness of society.

S. When we look at a friend, let's say I'm looking at the friends and I see, one by one, each of them seems a little different to me. Meaning I get an impression from one today, tomorrow from another one, the next day maybe not even an impression, maybe I could be angry at one. How do I connect everyone to one thing and call it, this is the King, this is the friend that I need to be impressed by, and I don't know, receive forces from and bestow to?

R. I want to connect the greatness of all the friends to the greatness of Godliness, that this to me is the highest thing. It is a degree above my head. I connect everyone to the greatness of the environment, the greatness of the society. That above them can be only the greatness of the Creator. That's how I use this environment as a springboard to reach the Creator.

S. We have a Convention called Life in the Ten, and all our friends here are divided into Tens, connected into Tens. There are some more active Tens, there’re those that are less. What does every friend need to inject into his Ten, some? What Spirit does he need to inject into his Ten so that his Ten will be like an important King for him? What does he have to push into the Ten?

R. Greatness of the Creator, and what the greatness of the Creator obligates us to but that's already with respect to us. That the Creator will be great in our eyes, and each time His greatness, what does it, how does it obligate us?

S. As a friend in the Ten, I have to make sure that my friends in the Ten will have the greatness of the Creator?

R. Of course, that's most important, if there's greatness of the Creator, I don't care about anything in life, even my life itself.

S. Let's say someone's having some kind of difficulty with one of the members of the Ten, something like that. Does the Ten need to give that friend the greatness of the Creator? Is that what's on the balancing scale there, the difficulty that he needs to be given?

R. Yes, that is the most certain to be able to save us.

22. S. (22:44) Even for a moment he doesn’t think about the world. How could we actually turn our lives into an engagement with the friends, with the Creator? Where can we get that force where if for a single moment we don't engage in that then it is clear that we fall immediately?

R. Yes.

S. How can we hold on so that at every moment we can hold on to the greatness of the Creator?

R. This is a spirit that has to be in the society, the spirit has to be in the society, the atmosphere. Otherwise how will I live?

S. It is as if we engage in that, but we see how even the words we hear about the greatness of the friend, it is hard to accept that?

R. This is your thoughts, your feelings about it but I'm in the same society as you and I see it differently, and I receive from it a different form.

S. It depends on my preparation?

R. It depends only on a person. The society is a society, has all the forces, all the conditions. Any person in it can reach from here until the end of correction but it depends on a person, but it’s possible.

23. S. (24:47) Why is pleasure that is felt from the greatness of the society, why does it not enter the vessels of reception? It is as if there is another place. How do I use the greatness of the society?

R. I want to bestow to them.

S. Yes, it’s clear but my nature is the opposite. It is as if there is something here that lets me, from myself, I still don't identify what is the difference. How is it possible to explain that?

R. Because the society has power if certain individuals are connected. If they are not, we see that there is nothing there, but if there is then they are united above each person's will to receive and that is bestowal.

S. All the actions that a person does for the society, he can have a quiet mind, that he, it is as if he got this gift from another world?

R. Yes.

24. S. (26:14) Can you explain what is the greatness of the Creator before you have ready vessels?

R. No.

S. We need to be in that beforehand, right?

R. If I have no vessels with which to feel the greatness of the Creator, how can I feel the greatness of the Creator? If I cannot feel it, how can I explain it?

S. Is that something spiritual, is that spiritual attainment, the greatest of the Creator?

R. Yes.

S. But we need to be in that constantly, right, even before?

R. Where will you get it from?

S. I'm asking you?

R. I'm asking you back, where will you get the greatness of the Creator?

S. In the society, in the Ten, in the friends?

R. If you hear about it from them you will have the greatness of the Creator?

S. I think that I will?

R. Good, so use it.

S. How can I give that to the friends without a true feeling?

R. That is a different question. The important thing is for you to feel that the greatness of the Creator is helping you climb, rise, and get closer to Him. Now what’s next, how to bestow to Him from there?

S. Can we be an example to that, towards the friends when I don't know what it is?

R. This will come, this will come.

25. S. (28:10) I just want to sharpen the question of the friend. What is the greatness of the Creator and how can we come closer to the greatness of the Creator? What is this feeling of coming closer to the Creator?

R. The greatness of the Creator is the greatness, or the control of the bestowing force that dwells in the world.

S. Yesterday we had a Ten meeting. We tried to do what you did, to do a light one before the Convention, to have the connection and the feeling of the connection. Friends repeated what you said a few days ago, that it is like a missile through which you can rise, that the society is like a missile in which you can rise to the upper world and that is a very fantastic depiction. What is this idea of this missile that can bring us to the upper world?

R. Any place, anytime that you want, if you have such a desire in truth, then certainly you can grab hold of this desire and fly to all the worlds, like the Baron Munchausen.

S. We learn all these words of the upper worlds and in Talmud Eser Sefirot, and we go through these descents and ascents. What are these upper worlds, is it another reality?

R. Outside of this reality, you feel, you acquire an upper force, a force of bestowal. And then you see how it rides on top and covers all the vessels of perception.

S. For example, I don't want to confuse everyone. In Talmud Eser Sefirot, we learn that there are AB and SAG, two forms of bestowals. What are other worlds, there’s a different kind of bestowal, another flavor of bestowal.

R. No, it is a different state, a different world is a different state.

S. Upon the will to receive, correct, overcoming?

R. Yes, correct.

26. S. (30:58) The greatness of the Creator, do we attain it as a result of above reason? Or do we need the greatness of the Creator in order to work above reason?

R. First of all, as much as was given to us, we need to be in faith above reason.

S. If we don't have the greatness of the Creator, in the meantime?

R. Yes, try.

27. S. (31:38) The correct quality of reception is a condition of enjoying order to help the friends connect?

R. Yes .

28. S. (32:04) If I understood our study correctly, in order to invert the will to receive we need to relate to each person on the path as a part of us, is that correct to say?

R. Again?

S. If I understood our study correctly, in order to invert the will to receive, we should relate to each friend on the path as if I correctly understood the study, we need to relate to each and every one of our friends as part of our will to receive?

R. Yes, let us say, but I don't know how he's going to continue this, where is he doing?

S. If he is a part of me, each and every one that I see, then there's no me and others. There's no feeling of giving and receiving, something in that direction more or less?

R. I don't know what it means that there is no meaning.

S. We are one soul, one whole?

R. Okay everything is one will to receive, what is next.

S. In this state, me and others, do we relate to it as something like a third thing, as two different things and the relationship between us changes?

R. I don't know, I don't want to get into such calculations because there is no answer for that. These are simply examples from your imagination.

29. S. (34:05) The greatness of the Creator, what is this force? And how can we make it so that this force will dwell among us so that it will cancel our will to receive? And make it all in order to bestow?

R. The force of the Creator is love, the force of love, the force of connection! The force of love is the force of connection.

S. How can we make it so that the Creator will be in our feelings? That we will feel His greatness in our eyes?

R. Depends only on the environment, as much as the environment raises the greatness of the Creator, that is how great He is going to be in your eyes.

S. How can a friend who has difficulties, how can he attract that force that he will gain the strength?

R. How to draw over himself this power? Only if he is going to lower himself, humiliate himself, and then he will be able to receive it.

S. Let's say you have a problem that distracts you, throws you out of the work of the Creator. How can I relate to the friends in such a way that that force will attract you?

R. To bow down before the friends. Place yourself under their influence to such an extent that you will not have any other thoughts.

S. Does it depend only on you, or is there the front help of the friends?

R. Of course, the friends can help but it maybe depends on you.

S. How can I bring myself closer to bow down to the friends, to constantly think about them, or?

R. To aim yourself internally in such a way that they are closer to the Creator than you. That they are placed between you and the Creator. That is why you have to first of all think how you can connect with the friends. In your connection with the friends, you will find your connection with the Creator.

S. Why does the Creator make a person fall and make him lose his feeling, the feeling of His greatness?

R. The Creator throws out a person to give him an opportunity to strengthen this connection with the Creator.

30. S. (37:35) I once heard that the greatness of the Creator is attained by a person who recognizes that he cannot attain it with his own forces. The question is does each person in their lives need to try to attain the greatness of the Creator with his own forces? Then despair and then realize that he cannot do that and come to others?

R. It is possible that those states exist, as well.

31. S. (38:14) The question is, is this rule of a person bestowing what is important to him, does that bring us to Lo Lishma?

R. Yes.

32. S. (39:05) It seems that today this point, this turning point is clearer to us. Even the greatness of the Creator, that transition point is between bestowing in order to receive and bestowing in order to bestow. If I bestow in order to receive something within my will to receive, so that is clear that it is bestowing in order to receive, and bestowing in order to bestow, that is unclear, and here we need the help of the Creator. Because we do not want what we are asking for, we are incapable of doing that at the same time, and the greatness of the Creator in faith, we don't know what we even have faith in. There is some kind of other state, so how is it possible to direct ourselves at that point more correctly?

R. Imagine it in the relationship between the friends and come to it to some extent. And then from there, you can climb up to the Creator. That is precisely what the meaning of from love of the created beings to love of the Creator.

S. Meaning in this point, there needs to be the love of the Creator. That is greater, that the Creator is behind the friends and that is more important?

R. Yes.

33. S. (41:06) I wanted to ask for some time, we learned that it is impossible to do even the smallest action if there is no pleasure from that. How does it turn out that a person reads the news, reads what's going on, murder, theft, hatred. What does a person get pleasure from that, what is this strange pleasure?

R. Pleasure, we have such vessels.

S. What, he gets some kind of excitement from that? I don't understand it, what does he get out of that?

R. He is connected to this world.

34. S. (42:07) I got the impression from seeing the greatness of the friend. How from that can I develop the greatness of the whole Ten?

R. Try to find this quality, this marriage in each one of the friends. Try to connect with them through this merit.

S. Maybe this way of seeing the greatest of friends as you said that I want to be beneficial to the friend. Is that also a way of doing it?

R. I do not know, maybe the other way around. That you will corrupt your relationship between you when you cling to someone.

35. S. (43:05) If I serve the Ten, and I get pleasure from that, should I perform a restriction on that?

R. Of course.

S. But I could do that automatically without emotions.

R. Yes.

36. S. (43:32) How can the body get pleasure from bestowal?

R. Repeat, please?

S. How can the body get pleasure from bestowal?

R. The will to receive is ready to accept any pleasure that will spread through it and give it a feeling of pleasure. And we, only with a screen are able to make a calculation of whether or not to receive pleasure from it, from reception, from bestowal, what kind of pleasure.

37. S. (44:50) Once there was a person who said that, if we do the work correctly and we annul ourselves, then we get this bonus from the Creator. It is like sweet candy. How can we toward the Convention do that work in the correct way?

R. I don't know, I have to think about it. My head is not working to be truthful.
