Convention "World Kabbalah L'Am" - "Discovering Life in the Ten"  

1 Rav’s Introduction: Today’s lesson is the fourth lesson in the congress, called The Prayer of Many. By the way I am asking you very much from all the friends all over the world that they write their responses for the lessons, for the quotes, maybe we need to change something, maybe we need to change the entire topic of the lesson, maybe the lesson itself, maybe the order of the lessons or in general the whole sequence of the lesson in the congress. You need to be more active, because by this common work, we build the common vessel of the system of Adam which is our goal. We will reach this and will be connected as much as possible and will try to discover life, the force that flows in between the different parts that are separated and now they are coming together and accordingly we will discover the Creator. 

This light which will flow in between the broken vessel the light of giving above the separation, this is this NRNHY which reveals the Creator. Let us be concerned about it, write and speak about it more, make decisions between yourself, what do you want, what kind of lessons, what kind of congress, what is the most beneficial way to advance to the goal to establish the system of Adam in a complete manner. In the meantime, we are talking about the prayer of many which they decided for us. This is the topic the prayer of many, this is a seemingly simple topic we all exist in the desire to receive in order to receive, in the broken desire to receive as there is no possibility to perform any action that comes out of the desire to receive. As much as we do it as it says any place they do, they do it for themselves that we only think about ourselves. This is by default we have to accept this is how it is even though it seems that we do some act of giving, connection for the sake of someone else, it is simply hidden, from us how much we only do calculations for ourselves it is impossible any other way. It’s nature, we cannot do anything about this. 

How can we perform opposite actions to resemble the Creator at least with the tiniest action, only on the condition that we get to the force of bestowal we do not have it by default, we can get it only from the Creator. This is called His light, His bestowal, His delight and this bestowal comes to us, it can come on the condition that we will ask for it, but how can we ask if we are not in the quality of giving by ourselves. They say that even though you are not in the quality of bestowal, if you can ask for it even a little for something, you will get it. How can I resemble it so that I asked for the quality of bestowal and here we have some opportunity at possibility which the Creator arranged for us. He broke the desire to receive in many parts and if we try to come to connect between ourselves and ask out of this connection even though it is an egoistic connection, even our prayer is also selfish and even though all we want is to gain something from it, this is according to the nature he created in us. 

We cannot do anything here but this act of connection at least physically at least to some extent he made it so that this is something we can do. So if we come together as if the try to connect like now I through the lessons, if we out of this seemingly connection we are asking as if we're asking, as if we are asking to be connected, as if we wanted to be in the force of bestowal, as if we wanted to come closer to him to resemble him, to give him contentment. This is all false, but if we connect and we can perform this connection because we exist in a world in a state which is called this world therefore, we can perform certain actions.

If we perform such actions with all the forces we have, all the egoistic forces we have but nevertheless we turn to him then out of these efforts that we perform egotistically we nevertheless will somehow perform some action above the ego because our actions are not similar to the ego not suitable for the ego they cannot come out of the ego. What do they come from because in each one of us there is a spark, a point in the heart as we call it and by this we nevertheless we hear. The Sages recommend to us as they heard through their spark and they accepted those advice from above, and this is what we have to do so nevertheless we have some beginning so we can perform some false actions. These are not spiritual actions of connection of prayer or request but nevertheless as we call it from lo Lishma we can come to Lishma. It all begins with us gathering in tens and this is what the Creator helps with.

Then we begin from such actions that are completely egoistic, completely physical, but to some extent this world is still matching the higher world that we want to connect as if we wanted to think about each other, as if we wanted to come close to each other, as if we were together as if, as if, as if’s are very important because specifically we understand that even the feeling that we as if we do want the connection, bit by bit we draw the reforming light on us and this is a surrounding light shining from afar and bit by bit we start to get an emotion and then you mind that are not characteristic they're not natural for us. Nevertheless, we start to dress into some other system and gradually it influences us. This is called the influence of the reforming light or the surrounding light or the influence of the Torah. But it is on the condition that we connect somehow between us, that we imaging ourselves that we exist in the center of our connection, in the center of the 10 and our appeal to the Creator from the center of the group, is the only action the only action we can do by which we can change the whole creation, the complete world, destiny, everything. 

If only we have the possibility if we can organize ourselves in such a way that we return to the Creator out of the connection between us and we need as much as possible to imagine this connection between is that some point like a central point of the group of the 10 and from it we can turn to the Creator this can solve all of the problems, of the present existence of advancement. Because we started to discover that nothing is happening in the world only in order for us to advance to the goal to be as one man with one heart, united with the creative which is the purpose of the whole reality and if we are attracted to this then we make no mistakes we make no problems we will see everything only as means in order to give us more possibilities to advance quickly and in a short and good and pleasant way. 

This is why to detect the 10, the center of the 10 and in the center to be attracted to the Creator to demand from him the advancement. To ask, to truly thank him for connecting us in such a way to give us the mind and emotion to advance towards him in such a way. This is the prayer which needs to include gratitude and the request. Gratitude for the fact that he did not leave us, like all the people in the world, but he gave us the understanding of how we exist and how we can advance to the world of through to the true state in order to control our destiny. And all this only in order to give him contentment by our advancement we will be able to pull behind us the whole world. 

The Creator actually wants to see all of us united together in a single 10, called the 10 Sefirot of the soul of Adam HaRishon and through this we will advance and this is what we have to engage in, this is actually the purpose of the congress. To scrutinize in a way that is as clear as possible, our state, our means how can we establish the system of Adam and by that we can reach the purpose of our existence which is adhesion with the Creator. By that we come out to the spiritual dimension where everything is clear, understood, eternal and complete. 

This is in general our work in the congress and our commitment to the Creator and to all people in the world. We are in the middle, arranged that we are between the Creator and the whole world in order to truly be those who link between them. This is why we are called the servants of the Creator, that we on one hand we exist in the physical world and we are connected with all the people in the world, with the whole of humanity and on the other hand we also connect with the Creator. Our work is to truly be as a passageway, as Baal HaSulam says that we are as a passageway between the Creator and the created beings. 

We have a part from this and part from that and we need to connect these two parts, the part of the Creator and the part of the created beings in us as GE we are part of the Creator As AHP we are a part of the created begins, this is our work and this is how we can keep and sustain our soul. There is something here today where I don't quite detect in this display that I have, I do not see Kiev one. Ok, you have found them my dear student. I always see this group before me and somehow they disappeared, maybe they do it purposefully for me or something has happened with our technical people, I do not know but the question is proper and in the meantime I see that the ball is moving to another group.

2. S. (16:00) Do our corporate selfish actions differ from the spiritual conditions. How can the rise above these egoistic actions?

R. We exist in a state called the work of the Lord, the Creator wants to advance us and make us those who link him to the passageway between him and the whole humanity. His work and there is nothing special in it besides the fact that we truly want to do this. We need to justify the Creator’s choice that he chose us, not that it is easier for us, maybe it is even harder, but one who is greater than his friend, his inclination is also greater. The people who develop they may regret more the things they go through, they may regret or so their destiny and the destiny of the whole world and they have the deficiencies of the whole world they feel pain for everyone. Nevertheless, in this we are performing a special role so let us try more and more to incorporate between us for the time being we are divided into different tens and these tens may be able to connect to even more then tens connecting to hundreds and connect to thousands this is what happened after the Exodus from Egypt. We have to try to get out of our own Egypt and later we will see how we can connect further. It is all in front of us

3. S. (19:15) The center of the 10 from which we turn to the Creator is this compatible with me or opposite to me, is it compatible with me or it is opposite to me or it is keeping distancing itself from me?

R. The center of the ten is the place where each time you need to check to see the connection between you that we all connect to each one nullifying towards the 10, nullifying to the 10, subjugating himself to the 10. In such a way we reached the center of the 10 and in the center we can connect to the Creator together because each one nullified then nothing remains in you besides that common point between you and this is the center of the ten and out of this you turn to the Creator. Otherwise, the Creator cannot hear what you want to tell him and that is all. There is no wisdom here if you do this it will be if you don't do this it will not be.

4. S. (21:05) How to clothe myself in such a way I have the power of bestowal?

R. You need to understand that the Creator is a single for everyone and he broke the vessel in order to reveal for us the egoistic desire, the rejection. The egoistic desire is not revealed only in the form where we feel mutual distance, mutual rejection from each other to such an extent we skip over the distance between us we can skip above the inside distance to scrutinize what it means to be together and to that extent we get closer to the connection between us and to the Creator. This is the only condition between us is that we connect between us in a single heart.

5. S. (22:35) Through the request to the 10 and to the created being, we can bring about the correction of the whole system of Adam, this the whole humanity?

R. Of course, we don't need anything else let say that the group of Rabbi Shimon, who wrote the book of Zohar, they are ten people it says their names and everything, they connected so much so that they reached the end of correction but they reached the end of correction, our goal is not only for us but together with as the whole humanity to reach the end of correction. This is the task of the last generation.

6. S. (23:49) I would like to say, the fact is that the world needs our method but we cannot do anything without the Creator, so why don’t we declare to the whole world Kli, before the congress that he can't succeed without the Creator?

R. I speak only about this, how can we nullify the ego, how can we advance and the congress is specifically to be connected to each other, to be closer to each other. The task is simple, if we connect in the congress with everybody and forget about the tens, then we will scatter if you forget about the 10 because I lose my place. The advancement to the purpose of creation is that I have to keep the 10, along with this I connect with other tens and then as much as we begin to feel the closeness between us, we can discover that the Creator is connecting between the tens. Later on between the hundreds and thousands and he also gives us the possibility come to the broad public and we also feel that they started to move towards us, to understand that within us, every day as they cannot reach anything and with us there is a right leadership and the force to correct the word. The most important nevertheless for each 10 to reach the congress and not to leave the connection which they have in the 10, but while keeping the 10 we also want to feel we have a connection with other tens, it will come. 

7. S. (26:16) You said even artificially if we ask it will work.

R. On one condition that we are asking and this influences the Creator and reality but on the condition that we do this out of the 10 and with all of these conditions we can keep as if we were connected.

S. What does it mean that we meet those conditions such as if connected?

R. In our state this is enough, because this is what we are capable of reaching some connection even if it is egoistic and we connect to the Creator although our desires are still egoistic and we want to be together even though all of this together it is also around an egoistic goal. The Creator is arranging it this way because in our state we do whatever we can do right now, whatever we are capable of so he arranges for us an illumination for us that shines on us according to our efforts like children who are playing with games but through those games they grow and they become smart and they grow and they become adults. Nevertheless, with the game they play, there is some connection, an understanding and the higher degree. This is how we also buy toys for them, to play with them in such a way that we want to teach them more than what they know and what they are capable of. This is what we do in the 10, we perform physical actions we truly connect and speak about things we are not in yet but we are playing with it and they are pulling the reforming light on us and this way according to our efforts we get better. It all is considered acting or playing it is also called through the wisdom of Kabbalah it is also called that the Creator is playing with the whale, which means the whole great ego he created.

S. You say that we perform physical action, so we gather now with the friends and also in the congress and the friends are making efforts, they are on fire and I am just sitting there with my heart locked, I cannot ask for anybody, so how can I make this real?

R. You have to be between them like a little one towards the big ones, take part as much as you can, even if you just sit like that through the lesson, you don't understand, you don't see, you are completely blocked, you cannot see or understand anything, you have entered into some kind of an emotional and intellectual slumber. Nevertheless, you are among them together with the friends this is considered that you are entering Ibur, conception, the state of an embryo in the mother's womb. This is how you exist inside the 10 this is it just like the embryo in the mother's belly folded and doesn't do anything it is just annulled and this is how the upper can develop it. This is how you in your case, let's say you nullify yourself completely to incorporate in the 10 as much as possible and you expect they will influence you, this is something very high, this actually helps us to grow this nullification.

S. How to reach nullification with the friends through prayer to be useful for them?

R. By wanting to incorporate in them through nullification you make them you are also doing them a great favor we because you perform an action on the condition you received from the Creator right now. You are doing it, this is a great work because we, all of us in the 10, the ten Sefirot and each one, each time is playing a different role in this 10 Sefirot and this is why, if you now you have to nullify then you just annul yourself and you nullify between them and they cannot advance unless they have someone like you between them completely nullified like an embryo.

8. (32:02) Is it important to bring the future state and perform actions with the friends to feel this future state?

R. Yes, we have to pull and push and try to bring the entire group to the future state, which is called the connection between us, to become 10 as 1. Accordingly, we will come closer to the Creator, which is one, to that extent He will influence on us will grow and this is how we will advance if we will be more as one, then the Creator can send us more reforming light influencing us, and we will also become one, this is “one receives one”.

9. S. (33:29) What point in the work do we have to reach, so that the work in the 10 turns from egoistic connection to real love?

R. This is all done through the reforming light, we have to try to be as close as possible to each other in our desire, to connect between us in our desire to resemble the upper force, the bestowing force, that is with mutual bestowal to each other as we want to resemble the Creator which is the general force of bestowal. With this inclination, we are pulling the bestowal from Him, His influence on ourselves, and by this we advance with His influence and we are changing. You are not aware how much you are already on the way, you are already advancing on the path, this is happening although we cannot see it, and we should not see that. This is concealment which is to our benefit, so we could more and more nevertheless feel ourselves in darkness and we will get used to walking in the darkness. What does it mean in the darkness? Without egoistic fulfillment and this is how we advance, without selfish fulfilment we will advance.

10. S. (35:47) Today I saw a friend as a Titan, another as a father, how can I turn this into envy?

R. Ask the Creator and read Rabash articles I have nothing else to say, you need to learn more and more and see how the friends are doing it, and I want to do it the same way, you need to look at the friends not in the ordinary way, when you are criticizing them all the time, but you have to see them how great they are, and try to see them as a great and try to resemble them, you don't need anything else.

11. S. (36:46) How can this act “as if”, how can we pretend, how does that develop us?

R. Without “as if” we can't even reach the spiritual state, without “as if” it is impossible to do it, there is no choice, only in such a way “as if” it is called, playing the game can we progress. It is considered that the Creator is playing with the whale, that all our advancement from one state to the other we call it playing or acting it out, and it is also our matter, ourselves in biology whatever you want, it is always a change by playing. What is this playing, what is this game? That in one state I imagine what it means to be in a different state, this depiction of being in a more advanced state is called playing the game, and this exists in the whole of the creation that is developing on the still, vegetative, animate and speaking degrees. In each you have this state which is between the present and the future state, even on the still degree and it's even more so on the higher degrees. This is how creation is constantly changing, it cannot exist without changing, all parts of creation are constantly undergoing changes between the present and the future state. 

These changes, either they occur through the upper light, through the force of Nature compelling them, like how humanity has advanced so far, as they do not know how we advanced through history, but people, countries, nations they're all progressing and this is also called playing. But we are not aware how, we are aware that we are constantly progressing in some way, we perceive the progress but we don't know by what we progress. It is completely different in spirituality as it cannot be without wanting to be progressing, we have to want to progress, we have to ask for progress by raising MAN, prayer. 

This is what we actually want to learn, this is the prayer of many, this is the topic of the lesson. So we really want to progress like man, like Adam resembling the Creator, then we ourselves have to want this by raising a deficiency by us, and by this deficiency, which is not something that comes from Nature, from the Creator but we establish this deficiency when we gather in the 10. When the Creator brings the person to the good fate and says take it, and we want to connect to each other and then we see that he cannot correctly connect between us, but we have no choice as we nevertheless have to connect, otherwise we cannot advance spiritually. The spiritual progress is reached by all of us, by strengthening each other until we establish the state between us where we do want spiritual progress but we see we can’t, so the raise a prayer and it is not that this deficiency comes to us naturally like with the lower levels in Nature, but in Adam it comes in a way that the person demands the progress from the Creator, even against our nature, it is against our nature, and this is how we progress in spirituality, there is a lot more to examine about this but this is how we will progress forward.

12. S. (41:34) The person stays in the group without doing anything, but this feeling of can’t do anything might give the person shame, so how long can a person stay in this state?

R. This depends on the person's connection to the 10, we all depend on our connection to the 10, we can be entirely not connected to the 10 in the right way, and then we cannot progress at all, and we can be connected correctly with the 10 and then truly we will progress with great speed, it all depends on our connection. The upper light is working through the connection with us through the center of the 10.

13. S. (42:46) All of us are coming from an illusion but this is a world we have to work with, the Creator this brings us to this imagination playing with the Leviathan, this is also playing with the Creator, what is the connection between the illusion and the imagination, how should I work with the imagination?

R. I need to paint to myself, the next desirable state, where we're all in bestowal, in connection, establishing the system of Adam, assembling the broken parts and as much as I am advancing to this, accordingly I build my deficiency, and I ask and in my request I get closer to progress. If we do not raise a prayer we cannot advance, the MAN means the correct request for the next, higher spiritual state on the path. If there is no such request from our side we do not have a vessel for the future degree, so we stay on our present level, and then the Creator increases the suffering so we would understand that it is not good to stay as we are. Then we start progressing. So we are wasting time when we are going through suffering, through bad states until we don't want to advance, and we don't want to build ourselves correctly, so this is why the desired state is that nevertheless we progress correctly, there is nothing special in this, we have to realize that playing is a very serious matter.

14. S. (45:11) How can we hold on to that altruistic state that the Creator is giving us in the 10, and what makes the Creator give us this state to be altruistic?

R. We have to see a part of our own soul in each friend, this is what I have to see, and there I have to progress, to get closer to the friend, and the friend’s inner desire. This inner desire in the person is his inclination to the Creator. With those desires alone I have to connect, so me connecting to the friends, for his craving towards the Creator and I support his desire to the Creator, by this I actually support my own desire to the Creator. Because ultimately we reach a single heart, a single desire, and I do not care about all the physical desires, inclinations from this world. They belong to this world, to the level of the animal, but it is the desire that the friend has for the Creator, which makes him my friend, which is why the Creator led me to him, placing him close to me, his desire for the Creator is the part of my soul. So I have to make an effort to help him actualize that desire, by this I build my own soul, and so we connect the heart. The heart is named after the point in the heart, the craving for the Creator, so if we connect these desires, cravings together and we don't pay attention to the other desires, by this we build a single spiritual heart and in that we will certainly discover the Creator, the center of reality, the center of creation, the center of all the worlds.

15. S. (48:17) You said that I need to ask that in my heart will feel the heart of the friend, is this reception in order to bestow or should I ask for the friends so they ask for me?

R. I need to help the friends to be even better aimed at the Creator, how by connecting to his craving to the Creator, to his inclination and by wanting to crave together we direct both of us to the Creator. Who is a friend? The friend is the desire in the other for the Creator, this desire is my friend, because I also want to reach the Creator, so we need to connect these kinds of desires together and by that we connect between us and we connect to Him.

16. S. (49:32) Through the center of the ten can we reach the concealment in an even higher desire?

R. The center of the 10 means, that we try to reach a single goal, a single aim to be directed together, aiming at the single force of bestowal called the Creator, and this power of bestowal has to dress into us, this is why we call Him BoReh, “come and see”, and then we connect with the same yearning to the Creator, we connect together and by being aimed at the Creator we also aim at the connection between us in our most internal point, by connected among ourselves and being connected to the Creator, it is the same thing but between us it is called the vessel and the with Him it is called the light, that gradually comes and settles in us.

17. S. (51:04) Is it possible not to be connected in the center of the ten and feel the Creator?

R. It is not possible, if I want to come close to the Creator, I have to go through the center of the ten, this is where He is, it is not on the way but it is inside the 10, this is where I discover the vessel which is the 10, and the Creator is also there as the filling of that vessel, only in that way, you have to imagine this.

18. S. (52:02) Can you explain a bit more the work with the friends’ desire, how we can work with the different desires?

R. This is a matter of feeling, it is impossible to describe a feeling, we have to constantly make efforts to reach it ourselves and to feel it. I cannot convey a feeling to you, it is not possible, so instead try with the right words to awaken the right feelings in you towards connection and so on.

19. S. (52:58) We connect to the friend’s desires, let’s say we have a friend in the 10 and I take his desires and connect to them, what does it mean to discover the purpose of creation with his desires?

R. Of course, when we reach the center of the 10, each one nullified towards the others to reach this centre, so when everybody is nullified then we get the Partzuf, the 10 Sefirot. What does that mean that each Sefira has a part of it and the part of Malchut, so when all nullify to connect together, to connect to the Keter, to the origin, and then we build this spiritual Partzuf and then with this we discover the force of bestowal which come from above through restriction and then bestowal. Through that power of bestowal we discover the qualities of the Creator which is revealed according to the mutual bestowal which you build between yourself, If I nullify to the friend and so does each every friend, then we create reflected light because I don't want to use my ego I am willing to connect to the tens to reach a common cause, a shared goal. By this rebuild the spiritual Partzuf where each performs restriction on himself and creates a screen not to use the ego but to integrate with the others, this is called reflected light, and if we do that we aim ourselves to the Creator, we meet the conditions which is called “one receives one”. His qualities can dress into our qualities and then according to the efforts which we make between ourselves, which is called the crafting of the vessel, we meet the conditions which allows the Creator to dress in us, we form the power of bestowal from ourselves and He from His part brings the force of bestowal and then the Creator dresses into the created beings, the created beings is the 10, and the Creator is the light of revelation.

S. In the first stage when we lower ourselves to be incorporated in each other's desires, but what do we do next, how to do the next stage for the Creator’s sake?

R. This is revealed in us gradually through the reforming light, gradually we will feel that we don't want to work for ourselves, that it is disgusting, repulsive, I want to perform actions which are the result of the effect of the reforming Light. I want to perform actions where I can give to the Creator to some extent at least, and then the Creator becomes for me, as it is written, that He won't be a foreign God for you, He is not foreign anymore, He is close and He becomes the target towards which I want to give, as I receive selfish pleasure for the time being by wanting to bestow to the Creator. It is like I want to give to my baby for example, to somebody who is very close to you, you want to give to him, yes, you want to give to him, yes. The same thing we feel towards the Creator, this will develop gradually from such sensations.

S. This feeling of closeness to the Creator, the attempt to bestow to Him because He is a close, this is born from the depths of the desire of the friends?

R. From the sum total efforts we make, that the most important is that we want to get close to the friends, to a good and nice sensation, feeling to the friends, where I feel more and more attraction to all of them, I feel pleasure in connecting with them, and through that I ultimately discover such an attitude to the Creator. 

20. S. (58:21) We are already talking a very long time about the necessity to be as one man and one heart and to pray to the Creator it is becoming more real that we cannot do it, is this the right scrutiny to create a deficiency to truly ask to be as one man with one heart?

R. This is correct what you say but this is revealed in us as a thing and its opposite one time I do want to bestow to the Creator and I don't know exactly how but this is an inclination and I discover in me and another time I forget about it and not wanting it, it is not important to me and then I am sorry about not having any attraction to the Creator. These states are revealed in us intermittently one by one to show us how we can be aimed in a constant, proper way through the 10 towards the Creator and this is the main thing that we have to do. Israel the light and the Creator are one, through the 10 we reach the Creator. That these things are established in me.

21. S. (01:00:03) What is the deficiency that will connect us together in the 10?

R. What is the deficiency that will connect us to the 10, the deficiency for the attainment of the spiritual life, the Creator the desire to emerge from this world, and egoistic desire for the time being if I want to transcend this world I have no alternative, I have to perform such acts of connection. As only this way can I transcend this world, that is for the time being and by that we awaken the reforming light and then our desire, our wills change and I don't just want to escape this world to reach the Creator but whether I want to reach the qualities of bestowal, to be the bestower, to be like the Creator who bestows upon others to be a conduit for the Creator's power of bestowal towards the world.

22. S. A prayer in public with the 10, why in this case does the Creator bring us to a state where we have no forces we cannot feel the friends therefore we feel the friends but we have no idea what to do so why should we reach the prayer of the many?

R. We always need to see the goal of the prayer of many before us because only in that way can we ask the Creator for the spiritual force and to ascend the spiritual ladder and if it is not together in the 10 that we ask then the Creator doesn't answer. The Creator deliberately places all sorts of obstacles before us all of which stem from our ego and we precisely above these obstacles we create a connection between us in order to turn to him. It is the coarseness that is revealed in each and every Partzuf that we need to work on, that we need to rise above and to ask of the Creator, to demand of the Creator to demand connection and from the connection between us we will raise a prayer to him for what we want from that connection. These things are crucial in order to build a spiritual Partzuf. Think about it more, I don't think there's room for such a question when we spoke of this so much, working on the construction of the Partzuf.

23. S. (01:05:25) What does it mean the prayer is regarded as a soul?

R. Prayer means that we connect together to the 10 and we have a single desire as though to the extent that it is possible, the desire for advancement for spiritual ascent to resemble the Creator in order to give him contentment. The 10 resembles the Creator, we want to relate to him the way he relates to us and to that extent we come closer together, connecting together. That is how we come to greater and greater adhesion.

Many times when we engage in the prayer in public we are given a direction and let's say it doesn't match my desire right now, so what is the right word, should I ask mechanically to try to have that request or ask that inside I will be this way or that the Creator will include me in this request that we are being guided towards?

R. I have explained it to you more than once, when I get up in the morning I wake up in many different states and I need to prepare myself for the lesson. I have several thousand people here before me and I have to convey a certain impression to them from whatever text we select before the lesson to see what to give to the audience of friends. I have problems, thoughts and all sorts of pressures of my life and also I got 20 letters yesterday from many people, that's also confusing me, it doesn't matter. R. R. What will you attain with that, you have to be more focused, the request has to be, by that you actually showed disrespect to the 10 and the Creator, the spiritual action needs to be complete and whole according to your degree, in keeping with that but complete. But you need to know what you ask, who to turn to with what deficiency and how exactly to be connected to them and how you need to be connected to the Creator. There is great work of preparation here to do.

S. So the “as if” that we spoke about in the beginning of the lesson it is not that I jump into the prayer of the many “as if” as if I pray with them there is a different “as if” here?

R. Yes.

S. So what is the different work of preparation?

R. You scrutinize and find what the friends desire, what you could do to support them, what is their deficiency, meaning what does the Creator want from them and in what way does he want to see them? That you need to establish and build this whole state where are you want to ask, what you want to be established.

S. This means that I need to stop and think about it, it's not that I remember?

R. No of course not that is actually our main work before the lesson, I'm telling you it takes time in what can I participate, in what can I push the whole 10 forward, how can I pull them turn into the Creator for them, there are many different kinds of interaction here with the Creator and with them. From their deficiency and the Creator's deficiency and mine, make his will your own.

S. How do I do this work in the middle of the day?

R. Everything is clarified in thought, I simply think about it you have all the daytime, all of the information to establish the right attitude between you the Creator and the 10. It's either you go ahead of the 10 pulling them towards the Creator or you're behind the 10 pushing them towards the Creator or you turn to the Creator and you ask for the whole ten.

S. So I can activate the prayer of the many even when I am a small one pushing them and even when I am the great one ten, in both states?

R. That is why I Rabash explains to us that the small one in the ten can be great, we have the example from life how a newborn baby changes the whole life of the family. What you had before is not the same as now, now today we have a baby in the house and everything revolves around the baby.

S. So what is the work in the prayer of the many when I am the smallest in the 10 vs the prayer of the many when I'm the greatest in the 10?

R. When you integrate with them you motivate them to work on you, like the baby, the more you turn to the Creator like the little one, he treats you as more important than them because the world rather advances only through the babies, the young generation. There is a lot written about that.

S. What do I ask for when I'm the smallest of them?

R. You asked to join them to bestow upon the Creator, you ask to help them grow as much as possible but in order to participate with them to advance them towards their connection with the Creator.

28. S. (01:23:15) There is a certain connection in the 10 in the prayer of many but there is some part in me that continues to resist, to be stubborn, to seemingly hold on to the old nature. What am I not doing good enough, what am I not completing?

R. Something will always remain of your nature that you cannot overcome that you cannot move towards directions in connection with the 10, to move to connection with the Creator that will always remain that is called the posterior of the spiritual Partzuf and you need to make a restriction over it not to use it that it won't obstruct you and using the more advanced part, the more corrected part. It will always remain through to the end of correction and before the end of correction actually all of those parts are revealed which cannot be corrected during the process itself. They build up the burdening of the heart, great disruptions toward the last corrections before the great last general correction and that is how we need to advance. One who is greater than his friend, his desire, his inclination is greater than him, this is how it is revealed to us each time. But we have to understand what is revealed that these are the means that appear before us, if we use everything we've received that no problem, we can always overcome all of these disruptions and to see them as a springboard.

29. S. (01:25:27) In the prayer of many we should include the whole of creation so there is a fear in it that stops me and blocks me and with all of these harsh things including in the world, how do we include them in the prayer also?

R. We need to think about the external world because ultimately we receive a special connection to the Creator so as to be the transition, the conduit between the Creator and humanity all of those souls for who they for the time being have no point in the heart so they are not  drawn toward corrections. So we need not think about it, we are amongst them but for the time being we have to build ourselves up and after we establish ourselves we will also be able to mix with them and do the work together. I tell you it is like how we grow, we grow as babies, as children, as young adults but when we conclude these years and gradually integrate into the world of the adults we ourselves become adults, that say 20-25 then we integrate into the world participating with everyone. It is the same thing here. We are still in our infancy as we say, still growing. When we acquire the vessels of bestowal we can then be in Katnut with the vessels of bestowal, then in order to reach from smallest to greatness we will need to be connected to the AHP, the whole world, to work with them. For the time being we simply have to start circulating these materials between them. It takes time for them to integrate, to listen to it a little bit they won’t want to accept it maybe but it will influence them.

30. S. (01:28:23) What does he mean when he says to pray alone during the work?

R. There are states when we can talk about our common prayer when we are in connection between us, we will do this especially during the connection. R. Preparation for prayer is also part of a prayer, this is called the prayer before the prayer that both the preparation for the prayer needs to be in connection with the 10 and the Creator. However, there is a difference in that it is still a preparation, it is not yet a request for what we wish to achieve, it is yet a request for the structure that we need to form between us of 10 Sefirot, the 10, so that out of that we will activate our deficiency. So this is called a prayer before a prayer and there is the prayer itself.

34. S. (01:33:46) What does it mean that I am harming my soul, what is that concept who am I harming me or the 10?

R. The fact that if you disregard your work in the 10, you do harm to your whole 10 and even to the whole world, accordingly you don't advance and you are stopping them. Accordingly you deserve punishment, meaning that you yourself are inviting upon yourself the forces that have to influence you in order to align you correctly. So when we are in the 10 we should be very careful about whether I am aimed at their help or not. It takes a long time through my efforts where I reach a state of awareness, and understanding that I do have to help and care for them and that is more than caring for myself. I'm telling you that from my experience as much as I remember I didn't see and couldn't conceive of caring for the 10 more than I care for myself. I couldn't conceive of that and it took years, years, until it ultimately became felt at the heart that I have to care for the group, for the world Kli and not for myself and that is when I started advancing.

S. Does it happen the bigger we are in spirituality we can harm more?

R. Let's say so, we will talk about it more but we don't need to talk about that we need to think about the good direction and how further into bestowal, into connection not the opposite form. By being afraid, by being weary of doing harm that is not going to move us forward.

35. S. (01:36:54) What form should I give our prayer in the 10 in order to reach gratitude?

R. This is something you need to clarify between yourselves, the prayer is, you need to establish it through your discussions, it is impossible otherwise.

36. S. (01:38:15) If prayer comes from gratitude, I see my friends, I really give gratitude for each and I'm praying that everything will be good and each one can get the help that they need to engage in there was some in to succeed in everything, is that a prayer, that is that?

R. This is a good thing to be thankful to the Creator for bringing you to the good state and guiding you correctly, yes it is very good and worthwhile to develop this sort of feeling and approach to the Creator.

40. S. (01:42:27) To know what the spiritual deficiency of my friends is, should I ask them personally, I'm going to ask and scrutinize it in the group, turn into the friends or should I do it myself?

R. You need to discuss it amongst yourself what is the deficiency of the 10 and then it will be clear to everyone what they should pray for and what you can pray for together to the Creator. You can discuss it amongst yourselves, between the friends you can talk about everything because everyone should be seeing themselves as being in a single heart.

41. R. We must not go out of this because this is the only means by which we can change ourselves and the general vessel, the whole world, and the whole of reality. 42. S. (01:46:48) Every time we remember the friends to ask for them, to give gratitude for the Kli, the teacher and humanity, should we have that understanding that the Creator has already prepared everything, so we can come close to connect that our prayer will truly be strong?

R. That is correct but we still need to say it all depends upon us and our prayer and if we activate our prayer before the Creator does his action on us, that is what we need to accept hear that what we are trying to describe between ourselves as the goal and depict to ourselves as the prayer, the address to the Creator, this is what we do. After that we can say it was all orchestrated by the Creator, he is working behind the scenes setting everything up for us. But in terms of prayer, in terms of raising MAN we should always say if I am not for myself and who is and ask.

43. S. (01:48:18) The body doesn't agree so the question is is that a sign That the work is right if you don't agree?

R. Yes, if the body disagrees it is an indication that I am working correctly, yes, it's not everything there are other indications as well but it is one of the main indications.

44. S. (01:48:57) The body doesn't agree and you can't ask for the friends for the burdening of the heart, afterwards you can overcome and be included in the friends but here when you start feeling what a hero I am that I overcame myself, feeling good what should I do about that?

R. That is a problem, that is Klipa, this indicates that you are not yearning sufficiently for the goal, rather you stop enjoying this break, this pause and this is where you need to self scrutinize what are you drawn to, what are your forces of progress.

45. S. (01:49:59) If I suddenly discover that I want the 10 to be connected, all tens to be connected, that the world will join in and get light from the Creator, what is that desire and how to relate to it correctly?

R. This is a desire you get from the Creator and you want to be grateful to the Creator for having such a desire that you must not enjoy this desire for itself even though it is a good desire, you rather have to realize it. Are you doing something for it to be realized, to actually make it so. That both in the 10 and the whole of Bnei Baruch, and the whole world. This should show you how you are working for this to materialize.

S. On one hand, we hear the most beneficial prayers with a broken heart, now we hear that we have to pray from happiness.

R. There is no problem, you need to be happy about your broken heart, there is nothing more complete than a broken heart. It is actually great joy that my heart is broken.

R. R. No, we need to build this state from zero even from a negative state.

You need to better and better actualize what is written in these quotes, and then we can move forward, but in the meantime, you need to work more.

52. S. (02:01:02) In spirituality what is the meaning of a shattered heart?

R. The shattered heart means that I tried to reach spirituality and I fought, that I am capable somewhat with my efforts, even though I read and heard that everything is achieved by the power of prayer, but even with my power of prayer I see I am incapable. Even with my 10 as I try to connect and return to the Creator together and we also didn't arrive at any results, meaning some force of bestowal that will appear between us which is the revelation of the Creator to the created being. Now we come to a place where our hearts, our desires, our points, they are connecting negatively, in a negative way. So from this broken heart that is comprised of all of our disappointments and bitter states, this is how we cry out of it when we want to achieve the true pure action of bestowal, then our deficiency is correct, it is for bestowal. Because we see that we truly want nothing with all kinds of states that we want for others, the completely broken heart uncovers the true state where: 

1. You can't do anything in order to bestow. 

2. That only in order to bestow is how you want to work. 

3. That only the Creator, the upper force that we have nothing of, can help us. 

If he won't help us then we are better off dead. We agree to just give up our entire life, our entire existence if we're not going to attain a spiritual state, a state of true bestowal to each other and the Creator. This is called, “there is nothing more whole than a broken heart,” this is the true prayer and this is when we receive the revelation of the Creator, the force of bestowal in us and this is how we begin to advance. In each and every state in the ladder of degrees we need to achieve this state, except each time and conditions that match this degree. This Is how we rise.
