1.Rav’s Introduction: Yes, the purpose of creation is the most important topic because actually we belong to it. Besides us, nobody else can implement it. This is why this material is so important and it is important not according to studying with our mind but with our feelings with our hearts. Let's hope that we can come to the point where our heart will understand, where we enter first with our heart into the topic and then with our mind, we begin to feel what the heart feels. The first is the degree of the Keter, the last one is Malchut and the middle letter is the degree of Bina. This is why the purpose of creation is specifically attained in the connection between the created beings.

How do we feel, what are we having as tools to feel him so that we get to know him, who he is, to what purpose he operates, what he wants from us, how we need to respond to him. This is our entire work to get to know the Creator. The entire wisdom is to receive the Creator and get to know him through his actions on us and to the extent we want to get to know him we enter into the equivalent of form with him. First, we forcefully try to put ourselves into equivalence with the Creator in order to get to know more and more details about him and this is actually our work. And in order to do this we can do that only by learning who we are. When we change ourselves, when we rise, when I rise above my nature my selfish ego in coming closer to friends and in my proximity to the friends, I actually learn the quality of the Creator in myself according to my efforts and this is how we learn and reveal the Creator. I do not discover something outside of me. I do not discover anything but actually qualities of mine which I change and improve according to the advice of the sages.

S. (17:36) And according to these details they change according to the intensity of my connection to the friends?

R. Yes this is how much it depends on that because this is a vessel the connection to the friends is the vessel in which I reveal the Creator. This is why the Creator is revealed as understanding as feeling as the intensity the power of connection the essence of our connection this is already revealed but this is why there is the shattering of the vessel of Adam before we start the work and we need through the connections between us to bring forth our connection to the same state the same vessel that existed before the breaking only 620 times more intensely. Because as we come to that form that existed before the breaking, we are overcoming all the selfish desires that have been revealed in the same time this is why I are feeling and attainment in the connection between us and the Creator is 620 times greater than it was before in the vessel of Adam.

7. S. (21:45) So what is the correct attitude to creation that the Creator wants to do good to us?

R. To do good to his creations and to delight his creations we have in every single state but it depends on how the creatures understand where they are, what process they go through and this is how they progress. To do good to his creations it exists for every moment for the Creator but whether it is accepted correctly this is a question we have to ask ourselves all the time and we have to try to come to me am for my beloved my beloved is for me. To get equivalents of form with the Creator according to our degree.

8. S. (22:36) What do we discover each time that this brings us to holiness?

R. Each time we discover what we need in any given moment, because the upper light is complete, whole, it fills all of reality and comes down to us through many degrees. 9. S. (24:13) The question is what is absorbed in which vessel? In which vessel do we perceive His truthfulness and His greatness, what is perceived in mind, what is perceived in heart?

R. We cannot talk about it right now because it depends on the merging of the Sefirot within the Kli and we are yet to be able to examine them and analyze them, all these small lights that go through all the Sefirot in the Partzuf, but we will get there, we are not far away from this.

10. S. (25:08) It says in the sources that Adam HaRishon was born circumcised nevertheless when he had his ascents, on the second ascent it says that he pulled on his foreskin. How do these two things work together?

We need to come to a state where just as I feel my friend, that is how I feel the Creator, no more and no less. Therefore I need to exercise this all the time until the end of correction, until the top of the ladder with my friends in the 10. These ascensions are like rungs of a ladder arranged, which are arranged degree by degree until it is completed, and it achieves its purpose where the purpose of the ladder is the attainment of the Creator in a complete manner.

12. S. (30:02) I heard from you in at letter that shame is a creation on its own, so is this something that the entire 10 should feel together or should we feel it individually?

R. And in the fourth phase of direct light what is revealed is the revelation of the sensation of the gap between the fourth phase and the Keter, the root. If we didn’t have those discernments between the one, two and three then in the fourth phase there will be no discernment of the difference between her and the root. And the difference between her and the root is the actual sensation of shame, and this is what drives all of creation from the first restriction and then to the entire process, until we return back to the fourth phase of Ein Sof but in equivalence with the degree of Shoresh.

13. S. (32:36) To feel the Creator as one feels the friend. About which feeling of the friend are we talking about, is this an internal feeling?

R. The feeling of the friend, what do you mean internal, external? In what we feel, we feel in our will to receive. So I need to feel the friend in such a way and to arrange my relation to him in order for me to reach in my feeling to the friend, the feeling that I have with the Creator. Think and depict to yourselves this discernment and see to the extent we are distant from the feeling of the Creator even in the most minimal degree or level. But this is the most difficult degree, the hardest degree. After that there is none wiser than the experienced because we already have the correct impression and we can multiply it, etc. to perform applications on it. But the first time is very difficult.

14. S. (34:08) Yesterday, also, when we read in the preparation, the quotes and now again they are wonderful, truly sublime, very high. The question is how we can come closer in feeling as you direct us. How to get closer to these sublime quotes?

R. The fact that we feel that we are not in them is already a correct preparation for them – it is already correct preparation, that's one; the second thing is that, yes, we need to try to arrange the relations between us in a more exalted manner than we do because the difference between the gap between our existing and the desired state in every moment – the gap between this and that – we draw the reforming light. And here, already, sort out the things between us.

S. So how can we imagine the desired state?

R. The desired state is to be so connected that the upper light could be revealed between is in a complete manner. There is nowhere else that the light can be revealed accept the extent to which we feel it in our hearts, tight connection to each other.

15. S. (35:54) If I format my relation to the friend as if he was the Creator, it is not clear how this leads me to equivalence of form in my qualities with the Creator?

R. How do you know how to resemble the Creator? How do you know – I am asking you, how do you know?

S. I do not know?

R. So you are thinking in the opposite way. You’re being told that if you reach a state in which you want to connect in your heart to the friend then with that it’s a certainty that you also come closer to the Creator and are somewhat becoming connected. There is no other way, this is the way – how else could we do it? And you are asking in an opposite way. You can actually, through this, bring yourself to the correct action and not make a mistake.

16. S. (37:18) How does shame evokes recognition of evil in the person?

R. Shame, it’s not like in our world, it is very different. Shame is when I didn’t do all the conditions that Creator gives me. I cannot reach that degree of bestowal that I should reach according to the elements he gave me, that’s it. That I am not doing hundred percent of my forces and my abilities – not performing the same actions to Him as He is giving me the possibilities for – this is called shame. And if I will be attentive to this, then already this would be for me as something that wakes me up, pushes me to work each time. Each and every moment we get from the Creator certain conditions that we should say they’re an accident for us to advance toward Him, it’s just that we start judging these qualities in our egoistic manner: “this is not the suitable, this is not good, why does He do this for me or that? I seemingly constantly have some complaint or criticism, I want to receive something different than what He is giving me,” and this is the problem. If he would justify the Creator in every stage that I’m in my life then I would truly have the feeling of non-stop advancement.

17. S. (39:39) He writes at the beginning of the article that “all the conducts of creation and it’s every kind of inlet and outlet, everything is completely pre-arranged for the purpose of nurturing the human species”. We do not see it this way in reality?

R. This is what the Sages write – what do you want from me? Try to understand and feel as much as you understand and feel in your life that we are standing opposite to a certain, let’s say film – watching a film in the cinema showing us the whole process, humanity is going through that we are going through, and certainly it all exist sin the thought of creation, there is a purpose for all of these things – nothing happens in nature incidentally but rather, we with our small minds, we want to reach out to nature and understand. And this is included in our free choice, this was given to us on purpose so we would be able to adapt ourselves through our inner changes more and more through the flow of the development and this is only for us.

S. I am asking you because you are the greatest Kabbalist, today, that I ever knew. So I am asking how is it only for a select few can understand and go on this path?

R. They do not need it. You as a technical person understand that in order to be in contact with a certain and different quality, when you have opposite qualities, you have to have just one point of contact where it can be linked; there they can reach contact with each other. The upper nullifies itself and reaches the minimal degree of its own qualities and the lower elevates itself and each reach is the maximum degree in order to adapt to the upper and in that point, they can have contact. The contact they make between them is through the parts of the broken vessel that according to their intensity, according to their nature, are capable of reaching contact between them and the contact with the upper Force, and this is our work. “Why us”, that we should not ask because in each and every one of us there are parts of the shattering that, now according to the reforming light shining on us and in general in the whole of humanity, equally, there are parts of humanity that advance toward connection between them and contact with the Creator; there is a part of humanity that is in a disposition toward education, culture, technology – each and every thing; and there is a part of humanity that is only drawn to arranging their corporeal life and this is the majority of people. It is all according to a pyramid, it’s how it is.

S. There is no question about the fact that there’s only a small amount that the Creator made to go in this way so there is no expectation for the whole of humanity to go in this path?

R. No, there shouldn’t be any such expectation from our side, it is all included incorporated the purpose of creation to bring the whole creation back through various awakenings to the point that they will all want to eventually be connected and to take on the depiction of Adam, ‘similar to the Creator,’ each and every one according to their degree.

18. S. (45:11) If the final state is defined by the purpose of creation, does this mean that I need to feel more with my soul and not to listen to my intellect? That it’s throwing me from here to there, and the main thing is the yearning through the group?

R. Yes, this is true, that we mostly have to see how much we annul before the group in each and every situation but along with that, it is not that I distance myself or throw away, cancel all the disturbances. I need to take them into account because these disturbances are like the thickness, the height of the degree where I rise and rise and rise, so I need to take into account all of these disturbances, and upon these disturbances each time to, nevertheless, be more and more adhered to the group. R. We do not have many tools or vessels and we do not need any. We only need the importance – the importance of the goal, which is achieved through the importance of the 10, and nothing besides that. Indeed, the wisdom of Kabbalah is a very simple wisdom. It comes to us from nature and all our confusions and difficulties, we insert them into it with our emotions and mind.

20. S. (48:46) What does it mean to feel the Creator as we feel the friends?

R. It cannot be that there is a feeling of the Creator that is more than how I feel the friends. That is, if I reach a state where I feel the friends in short, to the extent I feel the friends and my 10, to the extent, I am very worthy to feel the Creator, of discovering Hm. It’s as we learn from the spiritual Partzuf, that if I nullify my ego toward the 9 friends and inside of that, I start to feel the essence of the group, in the essence of the group, inside of it, I started to discover the Creator arranging the whole group in the whole reality for me; and this is how we reach this through the feeling of the people to the feeling of the Creator and otherwise it cannot happen. So let’s stop lying to ourselves that seemingly we can reach the revelation of the Creator in any other form. We cannot – we are already living in an era where we are capable of discovering it.

21. S. (50:33) Do we need to feel the whole ten or only with those who are closer to me to get a complete correction?

R. It is preferable with the entire 10 – along the way it can be quarter of half – but really I have to understand it that what I feel in the 10 is what the Creator is presenting to me as a condition so that through the entire group, the entire 10, I can reach His feeling and this is why I need to accept them as something, an element, that I get from the Creator; and, if I accept them and I try to be with them – even with those who are the worst, or the farthest – it doesn't matter in what form, I nevertheless accept them and I want to accept them that this is necessary to be in contact with all of them. And accordingly, I come closer to the revelation of the Creator.

22. S. (51:47) What efforts do we need to make to come to the feeling of the Creator through the friends? What exactly do we need to do?

R. I need to feel all the friends, that they come from the Creator who is standing before us and I need to annul myself to all of these friends, and it does not matter how they present themselves to me. It might be in a form that is the worst possible, it might be that they reject me, they do not want to connect me, they seem to me as crude or actively or passively that I see the relations between them or between us on my behalf or their behalf but I have to do everything so as to be in friendship with them, constant friendship and an optimal one. And if it does not work, then it is already my problem – it is my problem. And I need to see that this is actually the obstacle in my attempt to have a contact with the Creator.

23. S. (53:24) What does it mean to open the heart in practice and through action?

R. That on my side, there is no prevention to being in tight contact with a completely open heart with the friends. This is what I need to try to prepare on my side for the friends.

24. S. (53:59) Is the Creator communicating to us only through feeling?

R. Mostly it’s through sensation. The mind is needed only to give us the discernments in the feelings – more or less, this kind, that kind – but actually the most important is the feeling.

25. S. (54:25) If I feel the Creator in the friend, like the friend, why should I feel the Creator also in addition?

R. The Creator is the sum total, the totality of all the friends, all that created beings, all the impressions to the extent that I rise on the ladder of degrees, I seemingly rise up to the tip of it, so all the created being – the creation: still, vegetative, animate – it all concentrates for me converges in a way that more and more, I feel reality as a point that all comes from the Creator even though it is all through the created beings until everything truly comes together.

26. S. (55:23) What exactly is happening in the relations between us in the 10 that are called the Creator?

R. Bo Reh, Creator in Hebrew, is two words: Bo Reh, come and see. “Come” means to come closer and to come closer in order to see. So this is what we do, what we attain as a result of us coming closer and seeing is called Bo Reh, Creator, that’s it.

27. S. (56:00) What do we do when we cannot overcome the anger to the Creator, when it seems that we receive only suffering from him?

And then I accept this revelation as something that is good. Finally the truth has been revealed. How much I am opposite to godliness and coming closer to godliness is in how much I see that I am the opposite, so already I have the ability to see the truth.

29. (57:56) How to deal with the state where one feels that the 10 has neglected him? How can you pray to the Creator in such a state?

It is like a mother that is asking of the children to be good children and not to punch each other or fight with each other. We need to feel this in the same way, in the Creators turning to us. If we do that we can advance nicely and quickly. This is the condition both from the side of the Creator and also from the side of the created beings. It has to be kept in each and every moment.

30. S. (59:55) If a person doesn't have the force to pray does this mean he's lost his connection with the 10?

R. On one hand there's nothing more whole than a broken heart, it's a sign he's rising to the next degree. If he can rise above this shattering, above the burdening of the heart, that feeling, this is how we advance. It is impossible that the group will have a collective fall. If they search, they will always find the forces with which to advance, and specifically these forces will be the right and correct forces.

31. S. (01:00:53) How to work correctly with the evil inclination to invert every state to good?

R. We need to try to understand that our advancement, our coming closer to spirituality can only be above our nature. I want to come closer to spirituality so I get such conditions that I have to rise above them, to rise above them. That each and everything, whatever we get each and every moment, these are the best conditions in order to rise to the next degree, it's just that we have to see it this way. There is a burdening of the heart, we lose our senses a little bit and the head doesn't work. I feel myself a bit more dumb, foolish, stupid, not ready, not capable of the same focus I had before, the same sharpness. I cannot understand these things. It’s not because I turned dumb. It is because now more spiritual qualities are rising within me and I have no control over them, they are new and more sublime. Now I need to try to be on a higher degree according to that. With children we see that they have this impulse and drive to constantly get to know the world and to do everything, arranging and breaking things to constantly be in this quiet??(01:03:13) The most important thing is for them to know the state that they are in. Let us want to do it in the same way.

32. S. (01:03:24) What does it mean to rise above nature?

R. Above nature means that I want to be in a state where it is unrelated to my body, to my mind or my emotions. That I want to be in a higher state means to be as we learned in the quality of bestowal. How can I rise to the quality of bestowal? Here we have the group, and if I incorporate in it, and it doesn't seem to me like that but this is actually what can elevate me to the next spiritual degree.

33. S. (01:04:22) How can you bestow from connection, to use connection to reach bestowal?

R. How can we bestow out of the connection? If we are drawn to connection in order to reach the Creator then we have no movement, no action that is greater than that. If I truly connect, if I embrace with the friends, then I start to discover in the connection between us, this common force between us and this is the Creator. There is nothing that is common between us if it is not the Creator. All of the rest of the feelings of participation and sharing that we have are untrue.

34. S. (01:05:43) Can you feel pleasure from annulment?

R. Pleasure out of annulment? You can feel that also if the intention of the annulment is to reach a higher degree in the connection with the group and through it to the Creator.

35. S. (01:06:09) Is it when we feel shame that this is the opportunity to ask for correction?

R. Certainly yes, although we need to try to feel shame in each and every state that we are in, if not completely then on the left line. I need to try to feel shame in the same form and to the same degree that I feel my ego and that I have come out of the group and out of the Creator.

36. S. (01:07:06) How can I go out with all of my heart to the friends, how to simply do this?

R. Simply do it.

37. S. (01:07:21) Is the purpose of creation for all the created beings?

R. For each and every one who has the form of Adam, man externally, develops gradually throughout all of the corporeal generations and later on the spiritual degrees until he carries behind him the degrees of the still, vegetative, animate and speaking and they all reach the level of the Creator.

38. S. (01:08:12) Can it be that we advance and part of the human species won't advance and reach adhesion?

R. That is impossible. The Creator has calculated in his upper light the whole of creation. He doesn't have before Him the past, present and future. With respect to Him we are all at the end of correction, and we need to reach it just through our works.

39. S. (01:08:45) How in practice does the work in connection between us influence the ascent of humanity?

R. We are as the greatest group. Here and there are a few people who try to connect, and they study, and there are different methods of Kabbalah but we are the greatest group, the most massive one that includes both men and women, and at our time that is already necessary. This is how we come out, this is how we feel that we are actually the vanguard, the leading group in the correction of the world, massively. We need to have more connections and I hope that soon we will be able to have such general meetings of ours so this will connect us even more. We will gather materials that speak about the connection between us in a more intensive and powerful way. Our work is great work that we have before us and I hope very much that we will be able to realize it. The Creator is truly advancing us on a daily basis with quite large portions. I hope that we will be able to catch up to all of those changes and demands that He is placing before us. In the morning lessons we learn a daily portion that later on throughout the day we have to go over many times and to try to understand and to actualize the message in all kinds of different states, internal ones, emotional ones, between us and each one inside of himself.

40. S. (01:11:27) Will Humanity reach the purpose of creation only through those who study the wisdom of Kabbalah?

R. Even in the wisdom of Kabbalah we have many different methods and outside the wisdom of Kabbalah there are different kinds of methods that talk about people coming closer, and that by that we attain the upper force to some extent. And so it is not only the wisdom of Kabbalah, as it says there are many ways to the place. The place, Makom means the Creator, so there are other ways, I don't disqualify them, I respect all of them, all of those who want to attain the Creator. But it is on the condition that the attainment of the Creator doesn't happen at the expense of others but rather specifically through relating to others as to the Creator. This is the true form. There are all kinds. This is why I never hold anyone inside our organization and I don't really count how many people are here or that want to come out, even though for me each and every one is precious, both the men and women. It seems to me that nevertheless according to how we advance the Creator is leading us correctly of course, and we will try to be suitable, congruent with that force that is leading us.

41. S. (01:13:32) What is true connection?

R. True connection is that I connect with another in my internal spiritual vessels as it says, as one man in one heart, even though we’re not capable of that and we will never be capable of that. Because the shattering occurred already but we connect above the shattering, so specifically through this distancing, the oppositeness, the hatred that is revealed between us, through the shattering of Adam HaRishon we actually come closer between us, and we rise above the shattering and we turn the shattering into connection. This is called that darkness will shine as light and this is how we reach the end of Correction. The same corruption that the Creator created, it says I created the evil inclination, so that same evil inclination we don't erase or remove it, rather we turn it into good. It is considered that I make on it a restriction, screen and reflected light and through it I attain the height of the Creator. Without it I would only be as a holy animal just like Adam HaRishon that operated according to its minimal degree in giving. It was living among the animals, it had all of the goodness but it was just like an animal it wasn't an Adam, similar to the Creator, without the ability or opportunity for such a feeling, it didn’t have shame. Because the ability to reach the Creator comes through the first feeling which is shame, that I am an egoist, I’m not capable, I can't do it, and the more that we rise on the ladder of degrees the more we feel the gap between us and spirituality, and therefore many people want to run away. What is this that I feel I'm not advancing? And it's true, that this is how I should feel but along with it I should develop within me other discernments that yes, I have to reach connection, I have to unite the broken vessels, and the Creator corrupted and broke it to my benefit. Just like we buy building blocks for children to put together out of it something that is whole or a puzzle, this is the same with us. Therefore this is our work but in the attainment of these things that we are capable of it or not, until we start to attain the wisdom of how to put together, how to connect one block to another block or one piece of the puzzle to another piece of the puzzle, it takes a lot of time. The first degrees are the hardest because we don't understand the correct approach to connection between us.

42. S. (01:17:17) What helps the group advance more the feeling of shame between the friends or fear?

R. This I cannot say, it is both. Most importantly what prevents us should become useful, helpful, this is always the case. The detrimental force is actually the useful force and the more we advance we will have disturbances and problems. The Creator will continue to want to make a feud between us, confuse us, conflict us, and it’s all in order to rise in our levels of connection. That’s our path.

43. S. (01:18:22) With time I’ve developed an indifference toward descents, I feel I am in a descent but I’m not really emotionally in it. Is that okay?

R. We must not be immersed in the descents and yet in a healthy way with our minds and our emotions we need to clarify where we are to take it and rise with it, that is the correct approach. I don't approach any emotion or scrutiny, any state unless I pledge to myself and I prepare myself so that as a result of the whole scrutiny I will rise. This is called the end result is in the initial thought. In the end of the action I want to rise higher so I am going down into worst things in order to take them and rise higher, and then that will truly be in ascent.

44. S. (01:19:42) In development what’s a better state, the Adam HaRishon that was as a beast before the sin or after he sinned?

R. Before the sin Adam HaRishon was like an animal, meaning there is no shame. It's like you see in animals they don't have a shame, it is a wonder that they live with us, next to us, cows, dogs, sheep, they have no sense of shame towards each other, no sense of unpleasantness, everything is open like little kids. As a child grows, we see he makes all kinds of calculations to conceal and hide himself not knowing where it comes from but it comes from that sense of shame. Where does that sense come from? From pride, from the ego that wants to hide itself somehow because it is bad and it wants to only show what is good in itself. And this is the issue here of what’s our scrutiny of what is good and bad. Either we want to show what is good about us and hide what is bad so that makes me dress nicely, conduct myself correctly or I want to show my internality. So again hide the bad and reveal the good and in this action of hiding the bad and revealing the good the goal of why I'm doing it becomes important. If I do this in order to dress myself nicely and put makeup on myself towards the other created beings so they respect and accept me, this is good too, because people begin to see me through the external form. But in truth it is how we need to reveal the connections between us, that is where we already have to enter such a communication between us, such an integration, such incorporation as we call it in Kabbalah, connection and incorporation which is a lot more complex, and I would even say complicated. This is where we start having troubles of how we understand our connections between us and that is the whole wisdom of Kabbalah. Because to the extent of our connections, to the extent they are correct, that is how we make the place for the Creator to be revealed. On the other hand you can say that the more the Creator wants to be revealed and we are not yet ready for connection between us, we feel it as suffering, and the more that we advance to the right connection between us, we feel it as good. We always have to try to be ahead of the Creator, that we are ahead of Him and by that we justify His creation and that makes Him happy about us. There are many details regarding that and we will learn it from life.

Excerpt 3 (01:27:44) Baal HaSulam, "Introduction to The Book of Zohar, Item 39’’

R. (01:29:44) Baal HaSulam says in the introduction to the Book of Zohar Rav Reading; This purpose does not apply to the still and the great spheres, such as the earth, the moon, or the sun, however luminous they may be. Meaning, it doesn't matter how big they are, great they are, and not to the vegetative or the animate, for they lack the sensation of others. Why can't the still, vegetative, and animate serve the purpose of creation? They are not in that intent of creation by the Creator, but only in order to build the level of the still, the speaking degree. This is because the still, vegetative, and animal levels across all of reality lack the sensation of others. They don't have the sense of others, even from among their own species, those similar to them. Therefore, how can the sensation of the godly and His bestowal apply to them, if they don't feel what is outside of them. How can they feel they come to the feeling of the Creator? Humankind alone is prepared for that, for the sensation of the Creator, having been prepared with the sensation of others of the same species, who are similar to them. Meaning, first we have to discover within us, develop within us a sensation of other human beings, not the birds or the dogs, or anything, but the sensation of other humans. You can't do it towards everyone right away, but towards the ten, those other people who want the same goal as you do, and you have to reach a state where you start feeling them as you feel your own self after working in Torah and Mitzvot [commandments]. Meaning, when they make effort to come closer, capable or incapable of that, and the Creator gets involved in that, when they invert there will to receive to a desire to bestow by the upper force, and achieve equivalence of form with their Maker, they receive all the degrees that have been prepared for them in the upper worlds, called ‘NRNHY.’ By this, they become qualified to receive the purpose of the thought of creation. After all, the purpose of the creation, of all of the worlds was for man alone because he has that sense of the others.

45. WSQ: R. (01:32:55) What does it mean to acquire, to receive the sensation of others? How can we realize it? From sensing the others we can sense the Creator that is called from love of the created beings to the love of the Creator, and so on. How do we realize it in practice? In what state each of us can already tell himself where he is on his spiritual development towards sensing the Creator, how can we measure it between us? How do we come from sensing the others to sensing the Creator, which is also the others, but there is this Kli [vessel] that we have to develop between us, called ‘sensation of others,’ and then from that we can come to the sensation of the Creator.

46. R. (01:42:04) We don't understand that well, after all, what the Creator says, because what does it mean shame towards the Creator, that we can't? We see kids in our life they're not ashamed of receiving everything from us, because they feel that they are kids and they deserve until the end of their life, to just be given more and more. No education is going to help that. There is of course some sense of belonging, some sense of the need to say thank you in some way, but still it is not in our egoistic will to receive. However, here we see that we need to reach a state where we have a different quality that of the Creator - the quality of bestowal, the quality of feeling others and not feeling how they are good or bad for me but feeling them and wanting to help them in their state to achieve adhesion with the Creator.

47. S. (01:43:36) Is only after spiritual attainment that we can feel spiritual shame?

R. Yes, you are right. What is the question then? But we still have to try to reach that. We want to feel the Creator, we want to feel the spiritual world as something that opens up and exists, and we are in like some bubble, or like the radish allegory, like a little creature there and we want to come out of it, we want to feel the whole world. The more we develop, the more we run into states that indicate to us that we are living in some sort of falsehood, in some sort of unknown reality. Even the more we want to go out to outer space and other planets, we see from year to year how these things are more and more complicated, complex. We don't really understand nature and the same with regards to spirituality. If we want to advance ourselves correctly, we have no other choice but to develop ourselves. So our problem, and that is something that humanity has to learn and discover, is that the problem is not with the devices that we build which allow us to observe everything that there is in a very limited way. What happens if I install a few more devices that extend how I see? But if I can go deeper into me, and plant new qualities, new senses in me, not even the sense of sight and touch, and taste, and so on, but the sensation of others. That is what we truly need. If I want to discover what is outside of me, I don't need to just extend the qualities that I already have, that is not going to give me anything, I need the sensation of others, the sense of others, what exists and who exists outside of me. Then, in such a way, we come to the true research, and that is called the wisdom of Kabbalah. How to receive reality in a way that I don't first plant my distortion in it with my ego, rather I stop myself from entering reality with my will to receive in order to receive, and I want to accept reality the way it is. I prepare myself in such a way that I will feel what is outside of me, the way it exists, and not pass it through my senses and distort it, and feel it the way I paint the picture, that is not good. With that, I am never going to know the true nature of reality that I exist in. The Creator is right here, the upper light is right here, it is all around us. I just can't sense it because I am entering it with my qualities. So our first correction is Tzimtzum [restriction].

48. S. (01:48:01) You said that in our world people decorate themselves and also towards the friend a person conceals his evil and dresses himself compared to his friend, decorates himself for what?

R. A person needs to show the friends how much is trying to become corrected the means he is trying to get corrected.

S. In what does a person decorate himself-compared to a friend like King David said?

R. Trying to be similar to the Creator that's all but that is a lot.

49. S. (01:49:06) How to feel the friends in the 10 and what's the difference between the feeling of the friends in the 10 compared to any other person in the world?

R. We need to talk more in regard to the Creator. We are not ten friends, we are ten egoistic pieces that are annulling our ego in order to be above the ego. It's not that we cancel our ego, we rise above it in order to make a connection between us. There's a few friends in front of me that I feel that I reject them in my own nature and I don't want to connect with them and I would prefer to just be on my own, it's the same for each and every one of them, each one according to his degree. However with that everyone tries to reject his own ego, keep it within, rise above it then connect with the friends in such a way that we refer to as above the ego. That's why we called restriction, screen and reflected light where we try to be in some pleasant embrace between us even though internally, we each feel a resistance, a rejection towards the others and we agree with that and we understand that this is our nature and it's not going away and that's called our coarseness.

Rather, we exist on two levels, a lower level where I reject everyone, I want to be alone in the world like the first Adam. The second degree I receive that it's all how the Creator or what the Creator presents to me as we learn in perception of reality that we think of where a world in front of us is. I need to understand this is what the Creator designed for me, I need to accept all of that as people standing by to connect with me in the single desire, of a single heart and that's what we need to learn to yearn for. The friends in the ten and the friends in the whole world Kli, I shouldn't have any shame towards them, they are going to the similar states as me. Each one of them would gladly escape the 10 and in all of the Bnei Baruch group and on the other hand everyone needs to find the strength and confidence in this ten and in the world Kli to keep on going and that's how we advance. Love covers all crimes and the crimes will grow more and more to throw us away from each other where I hate everybody more and more and that's the stages of progress. Yet we overcome that and rise above that and connect and we always have two forces, the forces of resistance and the forces of connection and each time we have to work for a greater force of connection and the Creator will amplify our force of rejection. One who is greater than his friend, his inclination is greater than himself and we have to keep on going forward till we find the highest level of correction where the whole ego created by the Creator appears as the left line and we want to rise in the right line and come to a state we're all these things connect to one and will become one man in one heart which is filled with both hate and love and the love will cover all the hatred and this is called love covers all crimes all the crimes will unfold yet the general love will cover all of them and that's what needs to happen.

50. S. (01:54:45) What does it mean to accept reality the way it is without my will to receive interfering, how do I do it?

R. No, I can't because whatever I receive is always in me but if I am aware of what I perceive and then I go to a level of what do I do in relation to what the Creator is showing me. I need to justify his creation, he is showing me how things are looking in my ego, in my will to receive but if want I look at the creation the way the Creator sees it then I have to rise above the will to receive to see that it is thoughts and corrupts my vision and see it through an opposite desire to bestow in order to achieve that I need to put together all the pieces of creation. The shattering that happened in my heart then will begin to gradually mend and so the picture of the world will become whole and as we try to bring all these pieces together, we will start to correct and begin to identify the force that sustains reality called the Creator.

51. S. (01:56:45) In order to attain the Creator when we need to attain the connection between us and that's through importance, what is the difference between annulment and restriction?

R. Restriction means that there is already a will to receive in which I understand the way I feel and therefore I raise the importance of the purpose of creation in my eyes, which is the form of mutual bestowed connection with the friends and the Creator. Then instead of the feeling that I want to be alone and detached from everyone and I care about myself and if the concern for everyone and the connection with everyone will be greater than this sensation of the self then I can restrict this feeling of self. The restriction is not just any restriction, I have to make a calculation of why and what for and what's the goal and so on and why am I doing this action. When I'm done, this action of restriction then I have another action, how do I reach the goal? In restricting my will to receive I only restrict my participation in creation so how do I reach a state where I unlock creation if I restrict my will to receive. So then I begin to think about how I receive not the force of restriction which I already got and realized but how do I long for being similar to the upper force and that's already a different kind of work altogether. It's not been restricted I need to be open but open in bestowal as the upper forces and that whole work can happen first in the 10, with restriction we don't want to activate our egoistic desire outside of us, from each of us towards the friends and then the second phase is that after restriction, I want to have a screen and a reflected light. So how much can I help the friends be connected as one and that's how our correction takes place within the group.

52. S. (02:00:25) What qualities do I ask to correct when I feel shame before the friends and what qualities when I feel shame before the Creator?

R. I don't that think that there's that much of a difference, I need to change my attitude towards the friends and accordingly I will see my attitude toward the Creator.

53. S. (02:01:08) What do I need to search for to fill the friends that will bring me closer to the Creator?

R. Connection and love of you towards them not out of them, you need to fill this inside you.

S. So I need to feel in relation from inside myself, not in them?

R. That's what you need despite what you feel from them.

54. S. (02:01:56) You said that the most important action….

R. The restriction of the ego, it's not just any restriction.

S. Yes, restraining the ego. So if you want to connect to the friends and a certain state comes that takes all your attention as if you were the only one in the world, and you understand that there is like a border here, and you can’t restrict the ego now, you don't have the forces as much as you ask for the friends and the Creator. What should you do with that border? Should I ask Him to take it, to annul it, what should we do?

R. I think that in such a state we can only do one action. If we can't make an action of bestowal then only to restrict ourselves and nullify towards the group. To enter them like an embryo in the mother, to be taken care of. And I can’t do more than just nullify myself.

S. Practically you participate in everything…

R. Yes, yes exactly. To nullify oneself in every possibility, and besides that you can ask them to help you, just like say you fell into some pit, and they need to take you out of it.

S. How can they take me out?

R. They will throw you a ladder and then you will be able to step out.

S. I mean that the friends are doing the maximum they can in relation to me. The question is how if you participate in everything, but to overcome this barrier you can't.

R. To pray to the Creator to nullify your egoistic heart so that you will be able to adhere to the friends, because if you don't take yourself out of the ego, without adhesion with the friends, you can do a thousand actions for a thousand years and it's not going to help. Only when you cling to them then you emerge from your ego.

S. So how to ask correctly from Him? Because I don’t want to ask Him to annul the disturbance but at the same time, I need to ask to feel the friends instead or what?

R. Not instead of it but with it. You want to work with the disturbance and with the upper force that you receive from the friends. That these two forces will work within you and you will go forward, left and right, left and right the whole time.

55. S. (02:05:48) Is annulment a choice or a result?

R. Spiritual actions always happen in us out of choice, including restriction. I have to pray and then I receive the force of restriction. To restrict one’s ego so as to not work according to it, to rise above the ego, then pray again to receive the strength to work above my ego, and thus I build the Partzuf, action by action.

56. S. (02:06:50) The question is about the excerpt regarding preparation, that humans have to sense the others. What kind of preparation is it because right now it feels like I have no way to sense the others. How does the preparation of the human being express itself?

R. It's good that you feel that, and that’s a good place to start. I don't have a sensation for others. I look at my friends in the 10 and I have no relation to them, I don't really feel that they are just like me. That along with my desire, that there is a desire of the other friends. I don't feel that what can I do? I'm supposed to feel their desires before I feel my own, so this is how we come to a sensation of the Creator. So how do I reach that? The heart is blocked, the mind doesn't work if the heart doesn't operate it, because the desire of the heart is the determining factor. So what do I do? It turns out that we are truly lost, and besides prayer, collective prayer, because everyone is in the same state, and our connection begins there from prayer, it begins from praying to the Creator that we feel that we’re lost if we don't connect with a request from Him. That He created us in such a way that we are separate from each other and we can’t skip over that border between us, and the border between us is the border between us and the Creator. Where from the connection between us we build the 10’s connection with the Creator, it can’t be any other way. An individual can’t achieve adhesion with the Creator, connection and revelation. And so it turns out that we have no other choice, but that's how we should exist. And if we ask, if we want to reach the sensation of spirituality on our own, that's psychology or all kinds of mystical teachings, but it's not the wisdom of Kabbalah, it's not real revelation. For the true revelation of spirituality you need a Kli, a vessel, and that's only by connection between the created beings to the Creator.

57. S. (02:10:12) We hear many times about the order of Masach [screen]and Ohr Hozer [reflected light], but we don't have the Masach [screen] yet. This means that in practice we can’t make a restriction?

R. First of all, we need to reach the restriction that we do not want to use our egoistic will to receive in the connection between us, that is the first stage. After the restriction, we can already reach a form of bestowal and that is called a screen and reflected light, that I work above my ego. I use my ego in an opposite direction, and in this way, we start connecting between us. Meaning, as much as I annul my ego from myself, and I am willing to use the force of annulment as much as I have done it to give it in order to serve the friends, in that way we connect. In this way, we connect between us, and from between us, as much as we can, we connect to the Creator. Obviously, you participate in all this. The upper force helps us do all these things, but the actions are such - in a short way, it is called ‘’The love of the created beings to the love of the Creator.’’

58. S. (02:12:09) First we have to restrict the egoistic desires, and then we can work on the connection with the friends in the ten, because before the restriction we can't complete this work?

R. In what will you connect with them? In an egoistic way. That is true, that is what we do. We organize the group, we organize a place to study, connection between us, disseminate probably, and so on. But it is all, not a spiritual organization, it is corporeal around the spiritual. It comes before spiritual actions, but it is not the actual spiritual actions. Before the restriction, we are not in spirituality in any way. You need to learn more. You have a good desire, but you don't have sufficient knowledge yet.

59. S. (02:13:29) Two friends said that the most important thing is to be inspired when a friend speaks. It really excited me that they revealed it to me, something new to be excited when a friend speaks. Is that spirituality?

R. It is not spiritual, but it is a big step towards spirituality. If you reach a state that the friends are speaking and you get excited by it, it is an important state. No more than a condition to attain spirituality.

60. S. (02:14:33) The more a person is restricting himself, the more he needs the friends - the ten?

R. Correct. The more we advance in spirituality, the more we feel a necessity to be connected with the friends in a more heartful way, meaning in a mutual desire. That it's true, if a person discovers that is the way it is, it is already a good revelation. It is the Creator really treating him in a purposeful way - He wants him to reach the goal.

61. S. (02:15:28) You said that we can restrict the will to receive only by request from the Creator. What to do if the Creator does not answer?

R. There is no such a thing that the Creator does not answer. The fact that you feel that He did not answer that is the way that He is responding. He wants you to feel that He is supposedly not answering.

62. S. (02:16:02) It seems like the restriction is this passive action. What should I really do or think when I restrict myself towards the friends?

R. Restriction is not a passive action. It is a very powerful emotional intellectual action with all the efforts that I do. Because restriction is called that I accept from what I am intending right now, I have nothing else in the world. It is as if the whole world is erased, and only one thing remains - bestowal to the friends and through them to the Creator. That is called the restriction, that I restrict myself from all other desires, all other purposes, only connection with the friends and the Creator is important for me. That is the purpose.

63. S. (02:16:58) Do we restrict the mind, the heart, both?

R. We have to work with our mind a lot, before we reach the right action in our feelings.

64. S. (02:17:13) Can I ask for restriction for myself?

R. Of course, we are asking for restriction, each one for himself. I can be concerned that the whole group will be incorporated in this action. But actually, the restriction is on myself, that I restrict my ego, all of my personal goals, then I will have only one purpose - how to raise the group to the degree of the Creator, I have to pray for them. In other words, I have to pray for all the friends that they will reach contact with the Creator, and not that I am in some competition here, to check who is more and who is less of us towards the Creator. I only want one thing, that they will all connect with the Creator, and I am willing to sacrifice myself for this, I am willing to give all my forces for this, that they will reach contact with the Creator.
