R. In the ten Sefirot of direct light we don’t have any request from the lower one to the upper one. There is bestowal from the upper one to the lower one.

R. NHY of Galgalta are asking for filling, as everywhere else, each Partzuf and each part of the Partzuf is concerned with the filling.

S. What filling do they need?

R. According to what it has, according to the deficiencies, the records it has.

R. ZON wants to fill itself according to its deficiencies, according to the records in it.

S. They asked to have the strength of the Masach to be able to receive in order to bestow the light of Hochma or just the light of Hochma?

R. No, just simply light of Hochma, are Reshimot [records] that ask, but after there are scrutinies: what do we need in order to receive the light of Hochma and then the records rise, ascend.

S. So everything you just mentioned, this is included in what is mentioned in raising MAN?

R. No, we are now talking about the operations on vessels that are in the process of correction.

S. In the beginning of this item 79, he mentions the refinement of the Masach, what is the connection between the refinement of the Masach and the raising of MAN?

R. You can ask this about everything, what is the difference. The refinement of the screen is that the screen that was in order to receive that was inside the Partzuf through the clash in it with the surrounding light, it begins to become refined. 14. S. (39:22) So for this we need also to understand the person's deficiency, understand the Creator, how He has to fill it, and how they connect together?

R. Yes.

R. Because they have the deficiencies that after all they want to correct them in order to bestow and receive in them the whole light of Ein Sof.

S. Why specifically after the emergence of Katnut of Nekudim to suddenly awaken?

R. Because now they have a connection.

S. It's written here in this item that we read that MAN is something that awakens the lower ones not in the order of degree, as an addition, so is it something new here? What's happening here suddenly it raises MAN?

R. 16. S. (42:10) The MAN that Malchut raises is it in order to receive? Is the MAN that Malchut raises in order to receive?

R. No it cannot be. Raises, she raises her MAN, her deficiency. Meaning it cannot be in order to receive only in order to bestow.

S. In the end Bina turns face-to-face with Hochma. Is it correct systematically to see it as raising of MAN happening so this operation would happen so Bina would be face-to-face with Hochma?

R. Yes, for there to be a transition between the light of Hochma from Hochma to Bina.

17. S. (43:21) I thought the Upper degree is always in a state of giving to the lower one. Is this correct or not?

S. So what makes Hochma want to give?

R. There's four stages between Upper and the lower, face-to-face, face-to-back, back-to-face, and back-to-back.

S. Can Hochma be in a state where she doesn't want to give to Bina, regardless of what Bina wants?

S. What does it depend on?

R. The system has to be arranged properly depending on the Ein Sof from Hochma and the lower from Bina in order to continue the light of Hochma from the Upper, from Ein Sof, to the lower Malchut.

S. In #79 he writes that a Zivug de Hakaa, a coupling by striking there, reaches the level of the ten Sefirot for the purpose of the lower ones. Can there be a coupling by striking that elicits the ten Sefirot for the purpose of the Upper one or is it only for the purpose of the lower one?

R. The ten Sefirot for the sake of the lower one, but it can be for the sake of the Upper one, or to the side, I don’t know. There are many actions in the ten Sefirot for all sorts of needs.

S. What happens in the Zivug itself when it's a Zivug on Reshimot? We know there's the ascent of Reshimot, [records] as a result of the new Zivug, coupling to the new level, but in the Zivug, coupling itself what happens to the Reshimot?

R. In the Reshimot, [records] themselves there's entering within the Partzuf that make Zivug, [coupling] within the Upper, there's the level of bestowal.

S. And what happens with the Reshimot, record of the Hitlabshut, clothing and the Reshimot, record of Aviut,[ coarseness] near the Zivug, [coupling]?

R. They work together so the light enters the Kelim.

S. Do the records of Hitlabshut, clothing and Aviut, [coarseness] have to connect together in order to draw the light?

R. Yes.

18. S. (46:23) Bina passes the light of Hochma, right?

R. This is how it should be.

S. What is light of Hochma?

R. The light of Hochma is the purpose of creation.

S. Does the ZA know it wants to receive the light of Hochma?

R. Yes.

S. How?

R. Just like a dog knows that he wants a piece of meat, it's in his nature. That he was born through the light of Hochma that he received from Bina. This is why he wants Bina and Hochma.

S. In other words it exists in it and inherently in the Reshimot?

R. Yes.

19. S. (47:30) We learned that the Nekudot of SAG first of all raises the Masach, [screen] because it becomes refined because it doesn't want to receive. On the contrary, we see a different process here, the MAN rises in order to receive the light, from where in creation, in the created being does desire to receive something for itself something suddenly arise?

R. The will to receive for itself, why suddenly it is expressed in the world of Nekudim and instead of the desire to bestow, meaning a desire with a screen. So the screen was refined and left only a desire without a screen and the desire that is left without a screen acts within Malchut, and she wants to receive in order to receive. This is the Malchut that first needs to be corrected and then filled and that is going to be the final correction.

S. But we always learn that like a request for correction, from where is the realization for the necessity for correction because there was no breaking, our world does not exist yet, so where does the MAN suddenly come from?

R. We study that there is the rising of the vessels for correction even before the breakage of the vessels, because they have a deficiency to receive in order to bestow, so they ascend to ask for a Masach, a screen, like in the refinement of the screen even in the first screen of Galgalta. R. Malchut that rises to Bina turns Bina from Nukva to Hochma. Bina wants to receive from Hochma and pass the light to ZA. Ima, the mother was just a girl. Now she is a mother who has a baby and she wants to rise to Aba, the father, to receive from him nourishment, food, let's say, to lower it to the baby. This is how it is in our roots.

S. It's just that we always learnt that MAN is raising of Malchut to Bina, Malchut being the Nukva that raises to Bina and here we learn the opposite, that the Nukva is actually Bina?

R. The Bina is the Nukva to the light of Hochma in order to fill ZON, she turns Bina into Nukva, otherwise Bina is not Nukva, she has everything and she's not in the deficiency herself but when she has a deficiency rises to Malchut to Bina from below she because becomes a Nukva to Hochma. And not she herself but what the lower ones give her, then she lowers it, this is the center of Kabbalah, the center of the universe is arranged in that way. Bina is in the center who doesn't want anything for herself turns into the transition of the light of Hochma from above downwards, which is why all of the wisdom of Kabbalah, which is what we are doing what we need, is how not to receive other than bestowing and to that degree we become Kabbalists; receivers.

S. I can raise MAN only if I can raise the desire of the friends?

R. Yes, if I gather, if I collect the deficiency from my entire ten or my group, the world, then this deficiency I can raise upwards and receive on it everything they want.

S. And in that case I become the Nukva of Bina?

R. Yes, which is why Bina is such an important Sefira, such an important force, that she's in the middle, isolates from the vessels of reception of Malchut and ZA, and Bina creates the isolation, exactly like in a semiconductor. That everything is arranged, the connection through Bina and Bina is precisely the mother, that on one hand, wants nothing for herself and on the other hand wants everything in order to fill the lower.

20. S. (55:33) Can we receive more strength to demand from wanting Aba and Ima to be connected between them, can the lower ones ask?

R. What is your benefit for Aba and Ima to be connected? You raise your deficiency from Malchut. It's to receive more of the light of Hochma in order to correct itself, then feel itself in all of its souls, then it'll happen?

S. I'm trying to ask: do we have access to a greater deficiency because we know that Aba and Ima are not connected?

R. We don't have a certain Mitzva to connect Aba ve Ima, we connect them to the degree that we want to receive from them because it's impossible that the light of Hochma expands downwards by itself but when Bina clothes in Malchut, then the two forces expand and fill the lower.

S. So in order to accumulate a greater deficiency, we don't have a need for it?

R. Just the deficiency, where you are going to keep it.

S. That's not my question. I'm trying to ask how to increase, how to raise a big deficiency, how to..?

R. Only to connect to the source of the deficiency, which is the creatures and as much as you connect to them, you are able to raise their deficiency upwards.

21. S. (57:38) I just heard now that Bina is the key to all of the development because she doesn't want anything for herself?

R. Yes.

S. So everything can pass through her?

R. Yes.

S. The following objects because of whom she passes the light they are no longer Bina, so how does the light pass?

R. The light doesn’t pass, it raises the deficiency of the Ima to herself, it impregnates from the deficiency of the desire of the lower, the lower go through the months of impregnation of pregnancy, they grow as the mother, as the Ima provides to them screens and grow within the mother, with the vessels and the screens, and the lights. The Ima is depicting them, receiving the form of humans and then she gives birth to them gradually, either on the seventh or the ninth month or even longer.

S. So she creates them so that they will have Bina, too, so they will be like her, so what, that they will be like Bina?

R. Yes, yes, because God forbid they're like females.

S. The initial deficiency that makes Bina absorb the lower ones to begin to form them as you describe now, what is the initial deficiency?

R. Of the Bina?
