Part 3:

Baal HaSulam. The Freedom. (One Law for All the Worlds)

Reading: (0:15) One Law for All the Worlds.

1. S. (07:08) What does it mean that the wisdom of Kabbalah doesn't speak whatsoever about our corporeal world?

R. It speaks about the connection, or the opposition between the will to receive and the will to bestow. When it's above this world, in this world there's only the will to receive.

S. Doesn’t that include all of reality?

R. Of this world?

S. Also this world.

R. No. Kabbalah teaches us the rules of the Upper world.

S. And this world?

R. In this world there's only one force, the will to receive.

S. The wisdom of Kabbalah does not speak of that?

R. You're missing the second force, the will to bestow.

S. He says here that there are limits on the will to receive and only that changes. What are those different limits, and as a result of what do they change these boundaries?

R. To the extent that the will to receive is under a boundary or a certain measure.

S. What's the boundary of the will to receive?

R. To what extent it can cause its forces, its control.

S. Who determines this boundary of the will to receive?

R. Itself, the will to receive in it.

S. Can you expand these boundaries? A person does it?

R. No, that's something else. A human is the only creature that can change the boundaries of its own will to receive.

2. S. (09:19) How can we eradicate some kind of tendency? It says here that it's already in a person's nature from previous generations etc., so how can he eradicate it?

R. For example?

S. How can you eradicate a certain tendency in an individual?

R. Only through coercion.

S. Externally I understand that, but internally it's like love, even by coercion, how can you do it? He also says that you mustn't do it. Where is there even an example that it's even possible to do it?

R. You can't. He says we can see before our eyes that all of our tendencies are only the will to receive etc.

3. S. (10:29) He describes here two realities. He says even the greater, all its form of the will to receive limits it in quality and quantity. Can we describe reality as Kabbalists see it, that everything our desires that are separated in quality and quantity. What's that image that Kabbalists see?

R. How can you describe it, how can you depict it?

S. A Kabbalist looks at reality and he feels that all of his desires, desires, desires?

R. Yes.

S. Are they separate from one another?

R. From being different.

S. What holds these desires, these forces?

R. What do you mean hold, sustains?

S. What sustains?

R. The Creator.

S. There's a force that's called the Creator?

R. The abstract Upper light that we call it, sustains all these forces on its own.

S. This relation between this light and these desires, what fills it, surrounds it, what?

R. Makes everything in order to bring them to identify with Him.

S. Meaning the system is in constant movement to reach identification with Him?

R. Yes.

S. These forces that Kabbalist see, these are desires that I have two forces: reception and bestowal or are there desires in the system that are only reception or only bestowal?

R. The question is, all of these two forces act in the intention to in order to bestow.

S. The two forces that are under a certain desire.

R. Yes.

S. They both work with intention in order to bestow?

R. Yes.

S. It's a certain portion that corrected itself?

R. Yes.

S.There are desires in the system that work only with intention in order to receive?

R. In the meantime.

S. Then he says that there is no path, there is no gap, between this force of the will to receive, that either the matter is a result of this force or vice versa?

R. What are you asking?

S. How is this clothing of reality that we see, how is that clothed?

R. That's something you won't know.

S. That's why I'm asking you.

R. Next question.

S. How does the corporeal and the spiritual clothe on one another?

R. How does this close on matter, this desire is a reality of desires. You won't get an answer, because you have to discover it.

S. Why? Is there an answer?

R. Only for the one who discovers.

S. He says that the matter is a result of this force. Can matter influence these forces, or is that one directional, only these forces influence matter?

R. What does he answer?

S. From what I understand, he says it can be both.

R. Just like you understand it.

S. He says there's no gap if the desire of the will to receive is a result of matter. How can that be? How can this matter influence, how can it influence it?

R. That's something you have to discover, it's only revealed within a person.

4. S. (15:29) It says in this force of the atom in the will to receive, in its borders, is the only in creation in and of itself, so what's different?

R. Read it again.

S. Reading again.

S. Only my perception of the individual, only that belongs to the will to receive?

R. He doesn't write that.

S. He writes that the force implemented in every creation in Adam in the will to receive in its boundary is the only aspect that separated in and of itself.

R. Yes.

S. What's he's writing?

R. Read it again.

S. Reading again

R. Yes, only the will to receive, that's what we can feel, work with it, and turn to it, etc.

S. It's not clear.

R. As much as you understand, meaning the will to receive itself is something we don't yet understand.

S. What is mutual? There is something mutual and there's something separate?

R. There is something mutual and there is something separate, that's true. What's common is the will to receive between all of creation. What's different is the difference that there is between the Creator and all the created beings.

S. From attaining the separate, do we attain the mutual?

R. Not necessarily. We don't have the vessels for that in the meantime.

S. It's like you said that we don't attain the will to receive, so if we attain it and its separate form, will we then attain its mutual form?

R. Possibly. We have to work on that and until we feel, in us new vessels are born accordingly, we will be able to feel, to understand, and to distinguish between our new vessels where we can research creation. In the meantime we cannot investigate, we cannot research creation. We don't have the ability. Through what? How can I approach creation and understand it, or feel it, we don't have with what, only under the condition that I feel in me what the will to receive is, what the will to bestow is, what's the difference between the two, what's common, between them, and if so I may come close to nature, otherwise no. The Creator wants to give us the will to bestow, in the meantime we are rejecting it. We don't want to receive, we do not want to receive from the Creator the will to bestow, so how can we advance?

S. How will we advance?

R. We're continuing as much as we can hoping that the Creator will have mercy. There's no other chance.

R. Soon we're going to have a Congress and we'll connect strongly knowing we have no choice but in the connection between us. Can we find that force that will explain to us everything, connect us and so we’ll break through. It's a very special time.

5. S. (22:00) In relation to the convention in ten days from now, I wanted to ask about it.  I see that we come every morning and we read Rabash’s article and I feel that getting benefit from the article depends, and also being inspired also depends on the renewal of my vessels that takes place in our preparation in the ten. That as long as I'm filled with something that I had before I'm not able to connect to the light that goes through the article. The same question about the convention, how do we in the ten renew our vessels to come to the convention and to receive from it what it truly wants to give. How do I renew my preparation for this reception?

R. Only connection. We have to renew the connection between us every moment in a way that the form of connection, the force of connection, will all the time, will show me new things that were not there before or will seem to me as new, not like before and before they're shown to me as new I have to understand I don't understand anything. I'm not connected to anything and there's no chance to reach an understanding or feeling about spirituality. This is why if we talk about the situation as we have today that almost three hours, two and a half hours we've been, but we seemingly have no feeling that we've attained anything or advanced and that's actually a good state.

S. We learned this morning that the cup needs to be filled with the blessing and only if I'm empty then I can feel this full cup, it's filled with a blessing. So I'm asking how to be empty in a healthy way towards the convention. How can I prepare my ten to come with yearning, with inspiration, renew towards this convention?

R. We’re learning that all of the attainment has to come to the opposite form, the opposite, and the more extreme these two states are the more we attain both in quantity and in quality, this right phenomenon. Let's hope we will do that, let's hope we will attain.
