Because of your uncorrected perception, you think that there are desires outside of you and that you have to give something to them; but, in fact, imagine yourself that these are all your internal desires, only you have no control over them. This is why they seem to you as if they are outside.
They are all together inside of you. The more you can internally connect with and take control over your qualities, you will see that everyone outside belongs to you. It’s a replica of what you have inside.
If I receive the Force from Above to govern all my desires, then I immediately discover that the whole world is mine, that no-one is disconnected from me, that no-one is outside of me at all. I will feel all the others as a force within me.
