Rav’s Introduction: Seemingly it is a light topic acting or playing, but if you think that acting is a way, a means by which we reach the degree of men from the degree of the animal, then we can see that it is the most important for our development in human society, because by acting we teach the little ones who are animals on the animate degree. We wish to make them as humans who affect the society to learn different things, to relate to the world around them differently, to the people who are next to them, all of this in order to reach the degree of men. So we need to see it today as well, that the most important is acting, playing, learning, creating a man for the world. Moreover, as we study the adaptation to the Upper world it is also called playing or acting and we have to relate to it as the most important, most serious, most important means in our possession. So if we correctly build this set adapted system to the upper world more correctly how we adapt, fit the Creator then we get closer to Him and on the way, we learn Him, we understand Him, we enter into connection, mutual communication with Him until we cleave to Him completely, we become adapted to Him. Playing or acting although it seems something light and this is how we accustom ourselves to this work to this concept, this is a very serious thing. Hence we need to understand in every change, any change we wish to see in ourselves or in the world, everything we have it all depends on how we change, how we are acting, playing.
The world does not change outside but everything changes inside in our perception as we learn from the perception of reality that the world is what I perceive but I feel none of it, detect in me, there is no such thing, there is nothing outside. Only the Upper light which influences my vessel in depicting the whole of humanity to me and all these still, vegetative, animate and human degrees. Everything reinforces the concept of a play acting which includes everything in it, this is the most important. Consequently it is the means by which specifically and only by it if we relate to it correctly and all the changes we have to go through when certainly we can go through states, in relatively ease in the right direction without making many mistakes. Each time entering ourselves into a higher and more advanced form of perception on a higher degree even in states where we can imagine it to ourselves yet they do not attract us too much. We have to reach a state when we love those who I now hate or love or reject or I am indifferent to, I have to relate myself as different to them, not as before, I have to start acquiring new qualities, new thoughts, those in a more desirable way. In this sort my desires and thoughts properly, all this belongs to exercises which I myself have to go through which we call play or acting. It is recommended that I will be the one who decides which states I want to go through, in other words I will draw my desires, my ego, my entire internality and I will make it to the next desirable state.
Here in the wisdom of Kabbalah we learn how we ourselves are constructing these games for ourselves by which we grow up and the most important game or playing is in the group as usual that we are talking about so take ourselves through states there even if we feel good in something right now to a state which does not seem too good which is love, bestowal and connection nevertheless we can imagine it and we can accustom ourselves to it and take our service to one state to another through the acting and playing. Instead of what was not desired before it becomes a desirable which was rejecting as it becomes to attract as hate which I hated becomes a state which I love and I crave for. All the changes are the result of imagining ourselves the new states, building systems which change gradually until we come to a state that is the opposite of what used to reject us which is bestowal and love here to consider others instead of ourselves. Now it is the contrary we start to see the desired states of the most desirable, these are the best states for us and how we used to hate something, reject something now we want to bring it closer and do everything to get to these new states.
This instrument called playing or acting which is a transition from the present state to a desired better future state even if I do not desire it yet, the transition, the means to transit myself from one state to the other is called playing or acting. I have to become an expert in it and each time I have to get better how I do this with myself from the perception of reality we will see that if I do this with myself the whole world changes accordingly. I begin to assign new values, I consider and weigh everything according to how I change, the game for me is not how I adapt myself to the world but by that I change, improve and correct the world. It turns out that the game if you know how to play how to change the states, it is the most beneficial thing to our goal, this is why it is at the center of our actions. We need to see ourselves as little kids who are changing each time, changing ourselves each time and by that the whole world changes. You do not have to see ourselves as adults who cannot change but it is the contrary, the more we are undergoing changes, constantly have to go through changes and by that we will see the world changing and this is why we remain as children, we remain as young, full of life, full of changes and the only in this we see our advancement movement. Consequently playing, acting the game is the most important thing we have in front of us in order to reach the purpose of creation where we adapt ourselves completely to the Creator which is called the adhesion and part of this game we can call education which is learning more theoretical or practical learning that includes as we do, connections between us and in other forms.
Most importantly we have to look for means that can help all of us and each of us together to change, to constantly be changing and check ourselves if I am different today from yesterday and how I see the environment, how I see myself, how I see the purpose of creation. In everything am I different compared to yesterday and in what has changed in me, I check it only towards the environment, relative to the friends relative to the 10. The game becomes the means which is the most important for the person we see that even animals they play when they grow up then they are still little and it is the same with human being, then we stop playing after a while, we wish to resemble the grown-ups and by that we stop developing because we stop playing. Relative to our development becomes dead so the most important thing for us to remain young in spirit where they constantly have to change ourselves to play in a degree that is higher compared to what we have right now and in this way we will advance. Also then, we through the game for our kids by those games we want to help our kids to grow up, to acquire wisdom and other forms and to grow up. This is what we should look for how to grow up and here the most important means are the articles from the Kabbalists and the implementation in the 10. This is a very need to see our state, how advanced we are spiritually, how much closer we get to each other and how much closer we get to the Creator.
This is for the time being so I need to think of ourselves as being inside this cosmic game each helping his friend with all the articles we have in the 10 they're all in order to show us how to awaken each other, how to give good examples, ultimately to see ourselves to be connected their each one's heart is in the center of the 10. The connection in the 10 through the heart to reach our first spiritual degree, there are many verses written regarding this we just need to give more importance to that which we call the game, playing or acting. As much as in physical life it seems not so important, in spirituality it is the other way around, it is the most important thing because specifically dressing on to the next state by coming to it, by wishing to come to it we advance further as a result. We grow up we leave the current level where we are all as animals and we through the acting, through this game regarding the state as one man with one heart until we discover the one force, through the vessels through the light and it is all through playing it through the game. We will go through many verses, there is a lot of material on this both through the education and the dissemination, our life is in fact inside this system of this game because the Creator sent us out of his system in order to return to his system called Adam. Everybody disconnected from the form of one man as one heart and one body as one and then we are adapted to him as a vessel, to the Upper light. All of it is called play, acting a game, we have to relate to it very seriously and by that we come to know and feel.
2. S. (18:00) When we are playing there is some form of joy where is the aspect of joy in this?
R. If I know that through the game, through playing I bring things to me, which used to be hated to my ego and through the game, through the acting I can change myself, so I will finally become accustomed to that so habit becomes second nature. Instead of hating them I begin to love them, so of course the playing, the acting becomes the most important, this is why I respect it. You are telling me I give you an opportunity, that if you play with it, even if you don't want it so much, that you don't even want to think about it, that through this means you become a special person, you will feel differently, you will open up a new world for yourself, you will be different. Then I understand that through this means called a game or acting, which in physicality and spirituality has a different character, it has different fulfillment because the Upper light is in it.
Then through those actions which they tell me to play with, you will find the divine power, which can actually change you, if it is the case then it is very much worthwhile for us to come to know this concept of playing. I don't have the words to speak about the importance so much, because we haven't spoken about it before, because we have to learn and understand various components of our spiritual work and the playing, the game includes everything in it, it includes everything, each action which can raise us to a spiritual degree it is called a spiritual game. Especially playing the whole wisdom of Kabbalah talks about means how to act from the desire to receive and receive an impression from the Upper light, received this unique direction so through that we can elevate ourselves to a higher degree compared to the light, which is growing me more and more, this is what we call a game, we don't use this word very often, but this is the most beneficial, central thing.
3. S. (21:16) How do we play on the spiritual path, what are the rules?
R. Everything that the wisdom of Kabbalah tells us about it, how to play to resemble the Creator, means that there is a certain form, I don't even know this completely, because I don't know how to measure it to what. The wisdom of Kabbalah tells us that we are opposite to the Creator and according to the plan of creation which is above us, we have to reach this similarity with the Creator, so we have to go through this path, 125 degrees and to do that is only possible through a system in which we need to use and we can advance through it like a person, who goes through school, who grows through class after class, until he reaches the state when he has grown up. This is called the wisdom of Kabbalah. This wisdom is itself a system of education that educates us, and then it brings us each time to a new state and explains to us how we should conquer each time the new degree. People in our world don't understand it because they are growing on a plane, they are like animals so they don't come out to the degree of the man. As they say that a day old calf is already called a bull, it has already all the qualities of the bull although it is only a calf, it acquires all the qualities of the bull, know what to do, but we are not like that, we have to grow up to acquire new qualities as a result of our work, the efforts we do. Through free choice I choose each time if I stay where I am or want to get closer to the Creator, which is a more advanced state, this is why I have to search each and every moment in my life, I have to search how to be under the influence of a more advanced environment, this is what Baal HaSulam writes that one who choose is a greater, more important environment by that he advances and acquires the degree of the elevation, until he realizes the whole purpose of creation.
4. S. (24:21) You gave us the boundaries of the play, where we want to dress into. through the articles in the 10, but who is supervising the game so we don't exit the limits of the game?
R. We are in the system of Adam within the boundaries of this system, we can do anything the system allows us to do, this is seemingly explicitly in the open and we also have to say that “there is None Else Besides Him”, and the Creator stands behind all our thoughts and desires, the mind and the heart and He is the one pushing us forward. On the other hand, we have to believe above reason that I have free choice and I can determine by myself the form and the pace of my advancement. In truth after the person comes to the group, to the 10, it means that the Creator places the person's hand on the good fortune saying, “take it!”. The Creator seemingly takes Himself out of the future actions and gives the person free choice, so the person can choose his advanced state above his reason, above his desire each time towards the Creator's nature each time. We have to understand that the game depends on the group and the more we play between us in the group, as Rabash explains in his articles about the group, we set examples for each other on how we need to advance, how we need to relate to each other and by what can we awaken the 10 and here we realized the greater aspect of the game. Where although I am not in love of friends, I have to show love, I am not in connection with the friends but I have to look for the connection and publicize it to them how much I appreciate it, how much I am in it, how much I develop it by my effort. In other words, we have to hold the means in order to reach the higher level, to advance and the more we advance, the more seemingly we will be disconnected from the Creator and we will become more and more independent, because we acquire His qualities and thoughts, until the entire thought of creation dresses in us according to our desire, according to our choice and efforts and then we become like Him and to that extent we reach our adhesion to the Creator.
5. S. (27:54) Why is it called the game if I have to go to a higher state on top of the present state?
R. It is called a game or acting because humanity in its stupidity does not understand that those advanced states are specifically those that I have to first portray in my mind and the heart and I have to play those states, act them out and then finally come to them. Meaning in our world we ascribe these actions to the Upper one, the wiser one, the one who understands more. We ascribe importance to this game and claim that it is a very serious thing, because by acting we become bigger, we grow up, but only because it belongs to kids in this world the adults assign to this frivolity but it is not frivolity. A child makes huge efforts to develop his brain, his hands, his legs and feelings in order to adapt himself to the grownups, to feel them, to understand them, to start communicating with them and the attitude to this term, “game or playing” is not correct in this world.
6. S. (29:53) What game should we play now in the 10?
R. We constantly talk about this game in the 10, we act as if we were in love, connection, we have to show each other positive actions, how I nullify myself to the 10, how I am the greatest in the 10 by bestowing towards the 10 everything possible. This is as Rabash writes about the behaviour towards the 10, this is the acting this is the pure game and only by this can we influence each other so we constantly have to play and act as if we were greater and greater people. Not the other way around, when I show the others how tired I am, how I don't care, how I am a indifferent, and I don't believe in the path, I lost the righteousness of the path and I lost faith above reason, it is to the contrary, I have to constantly act before the friends as I was full of energy, power, hope and connection, as is each helps his friend.
7. S. (31:30) What is the component in the action of the play which turns the game from physical to spiritual?
R. It all depends on the goal, we can play between us anything basically, we see that the whole life is a game, in truth each and everybody of all the people in the world, they are all acting. We don't even know who we are truthfully and internally as Baal HaSulam writes, nobody knows who they are but everybody constantly takes on the different characters they play, we look at others, we study and we observe them through infancy and development and then we dress into it, you don't even know but this is how it happens. How I speak, how I sit, when I appear in front of others, when I think, how I feel, these forms are all acquired from the environment. A normal person, an average person this is everything for them, this is all, they are like animals they look at each other and pick that which fits the ego. But in spirituality we want to resemble a higher degree of bestowal in our mind and heart, which degree is called the Creator, this is why each time we are called more Adam, more Adam, more similar to the Creator.
8. S. (33:19) When children play, they don't want to go home they just want to play all day long, how can we achieve this?
R. How can we come to a state when we are playing all the time, that the game is so pleasant that we don't want to leave it? Well, I do not think it will be like that, how the kids derive pleasure from the game that it binds them to the game and they don't want to come back home, they just want to stay and play until they drop and fall asleep wherever they are playing. We are playing against our desire to receive, against the ego so for us these games are difficult, it takes a great deal of energy so we grow tired of our minds and hearts from these efforts even when each helps his friend. We have to wake up the friends to invest as much as we can invest in it all the time, so we exhaust ourselves through the game, but specifically this exhaustion, this effort above human power which we invest, through that I reveal my full portion, my Seah, full quota as Baal HaSulam says, that the regular effort does not count only the effort above a human strengths and ability counts, and here I have to show myself and everybody what it means to act and play above human strength, human power and although I do not want it, still, I remain in the system to set the best possible example as the best component in the system.
9. S. (35:44) How to overcome ourselves and find the power to play correctly?
R. For this we have to have a feeling, understanding and the right spirit, a certain attitude which is customary in our society, where each has to do as much as they can in order to be like a car jack, pushing the entire society to a higher-level, so everything depends on everyone’s efforts and everyone is very important because if we are missing anybody we won't be able to complete or climb up. So, we need to talk about how the efforts of everyone in this mutual work between everybody is so important, especially when we understand the goal, the next state in the connection between us and even more so in the common feeling, in the brain and the heart and this way we will advance.
10. S. (37:09) Is it correct that I show the friends a false reality with the aim to bring them to bestowal, a how is it good to lie?
R. Playing and lying, it is the same, it is all the same to lie and to play the game. It is the truth, it is not a lie but it is a means which I was given from above not something that I invented by myself, that I learn how to behave, how to correctly act and play, I try to draw all this knowledge, these feelings, the emotions from the Kabbalists, from the articles where they give us examples and wake us up in this way. In this way we can advance-forward, I need to show everybody how I relate very seriously to these actions because in each and every action we get closer to the Creator in practice. There is no limit to its importance, each action of the 10 is a spiritual action, and outside of the 10 everything is a physical action and even the seemingly incorrect actions which are not so good, they are still spiritual in the 10 and I have to take them very seriously and check if it can help us go higher or it is causing us fall. Our actions are measured always in relation to the connection, how close the friends are getting to each other, so only through that we can make the path and go through the path from the beginning of the ladder to the end of the ladder where everything is measured only in the essence of the connection between us, which is the most important. Here we have to check ourselves, we have to check the purity of our actions, because we do not belong to philosophy, we don't belong to religion, we don't belong to belief systems or psychological games which humanity are playing with in this world.
Instead, we only wish to correct the separation between us where the shattering took place, and then to connect ourselves into a single heart, for this all of our actions need to be aimed to that direction, all our thoughts, this is only in order to connect our thoughts and desires though they are different, but when they are aimed at the same goal there are no great differences between them. Instead, each simply works from within his nature because he is broken, different from the others and he now has the ability to invest himself even more to reach this common work. This is the meaning of reaching it 620 times more compared to the earlier connection before the sin of Adam HaRishon. Consequently, all the states only in order to connect us in the collective sensation where we can discover the collective common force of connection, unity and love, the Creator.
The more advanced we will become, the more we will see that everything will be clarified in the thought as it is written, we will be connected more and more to the desires and not to physical actions in this world which is the origin of all the religions and the belief systems on the corporeal plane. Our game has to be more about the desires and the intentions and then this way we will withdraw ourselves from the customs and the traditions, all the forms from this world. We will understand from the shattering of the vessel of Adam HaRishon, from all the philosophies which they established, from all the religions and instead we will feel as far as possible from them, from all the customs and all the changes that existed in between us the mutual hate and mutual rejection. For us it'll be different as we will jump over all those things and we will hold ourselves only on the measure of connection, that we have to show and bring to all the people, until we discover the corrected system of Adam.
11. S. (43:50) If a friend is playing, is this a sign of nullification to the 10?
R. It depends on how he acts, how he plays in the 10. If he is acting in order to show a good example, then of course this certain acting which needs to be respected, appreciated by all, even if we see that he is acting we respect his acting greatly, because this is a truth, because only from such examples can we advance. Even if I see that he is acting and I feel from my experience, I feel it that he is acting, I can see who is acting more or less, how much, still we have to act and play, we have to do it, we have to play. There are such people who deliberately want to show us in the group that they have no energy, they have no desire, they are indifferent, they want to be more truthful according to what they have in their belly, this is what they bring to the group, I also went through this. But this is incorrect, this is what it is called acting, I have to act a more advanced state, how much we love though we do not love, how much we are connected though we are not yet connected and so on. Meaning we have to play the spiritual state, this is what is before us and this game then will become a reality.
The game we play will become a reality, you will see it because through this game, through the acting, through the game we awaken the reforming light and this will elevate us to the next state which we have to come to. On the other way around it is also true, those people who bring us down we have to explain to them, maybe we have to wait and not to pay attention, but if there is no other choice and this is how they behave then the group needs to remove them if they do not stop like that bringing the group down, looking down on the others, if they cannot listen yet because their ego is greater then the others later they may advance tremendously but for the time being if there is an entire group except for one person which has a great ego and he does not understand through his ego the plan, the particular game, the essence of the game then we need to remove them gently from the group and keep going by ourselves, if he is actually interfering. But certainly, each one will have the time and place and the opportunity to show himself to the group and introduce himself to the path of truth and the path opens up and then he will understand there is no other way to advance, accepting through the heartfelt connection with the others, with the friends and it has to be clearly before him.
S. Does the person have the strength to check if he is harmful to the others?
R. You can see the way how you are supporting the group, how you come to the gathering of friends, if you care about the connection, about the writings we have to study, it can be seen in this care towards the others, as this care is revealed in the heart of the friends as Rabash writes.
S. There is a feeling in the 10 that something is missing for the game to become real.
R. This will always be this way, if we play correctly, we will always feel ourselves that we are somehow in the middle of the game and we never reach the actual implementation, it will only come at the end of the correction and until then we will always feel that we are constantly lacking, but at the same time we also discovering that we're moving more inside and that we are lacking higher and more refined states.
12. S. (49:44) The game as you call it in the corporeal nature is not real then why do we not reconsider this false in spirituality?
R. This is because we are stupid, but we buy games for our kids and we make sure that they are playing. It is a great problem if a child that does not play, what will become of him? Does not make you worried if the child is not playing, what kind of child is it, how will he develop? He has to play, he has to break things and have to put them together, he has to make efforts with this, he needs to see this as natural progression, this is an instinct, natural progress if it does not happen he remains an animal, he remains a beast. Bring a small human to a game and next to him a dog or a cat, you will see the difference between the dog and the cat and the child, what is the meaning of a small human? He acts, he plays he used to do this way and that way, first of all he puts it in his mouth as this is very clear because this is the most important sense for a human but later, he starts to distinguish colors and sounds and the connections and blocks and balls and so on. This is what develops the person, turns him from an animal to human, if you want to develop from a state of the animal, since in spirituality we are all like beasts, if you want to become a spiritual human then you have to play the appropriate game which will grow us spiritually and then it is only in the 10, look at for the Kabbalists write.
13. S. (52:29) This is a very interesting subject, it looks like that there is no room for a prayer, only the room for playing, so if you play like a child where is the room for the prayer, so what do we ask for when we are playing?
R. Look you are always making efforts when you are playing, when you are acting you make efforts, and even if they are not aimed at the Creator yet, they are already like a prayer because the prayer is the effort you make between the existing and the desired state, when there is a gap, there is a delta between where I am and where I want to be, so the gap between the states is actually the prayer because I always turn to the success and that is connected to the Creator, as He is the one who orchestrates all the states for me. It's perhaps that I do it in a way that it is not open, revealed to me yet, but the gradually start connecting all our states, past present and future to be aimed Him at in accordance to what He wants to us to attain, if it is a personal success it is a shell, Klipah, if it is a success through the group to the Creator, then it is sanctity, Kedusha. You begin to behave like Him and in all your states you begin to act as if in a prayer and everything you attained is to the extent that you tie your success to the Creator that you recognize that he is giving you this state, designing the next state for you but you don't know, you're not there yet it has on the left Bina, faith above reason so you gradually begin to relate to your degrees and your states to him. That will improve after you start making a few actions that way you will start feeling that you need him for your success.
14. S. (55:05) Previously we were told that through revelation of evil we would go through correction through the group in order to grow and now it seems that we don't take into account the revelation of evil but just to play towards the group. Both, are they connected and if yes in what way?
R. It is always connected, our acting towards our ego and our acting towards the group because you can't have one without the other. You can't come closer to the group but to the extent that you suppress your ego and the other way around.
15. S. (56:03) Is there any way to make this game easier, is the Creator compromising?
R. The Creator can't just compromise, He will do everything if you ask Him to but your request has to include a recognition of the present state and understanding of the next desired state and that you understand and recognize that it is all coming from the Creator. It is like how the parents are designing the game for the child so He is creating a game for us in the 10. We have a situation between us that is not so good and that way we can come to a state of connection. Each time we come from greater disconnection and separation to greater connection. So, if we turn to the Creator, we quickly find strength that will help us to make these actions for us. All of our work is called the work of the Creator which means the Creator is doing the work and the Creator is the one who needs to establish and complete the work, this is called the Creator will finish the work for me. I only start the game and through it, throughout the game I move to Him and I demand from Him as the hiding Creator that will do the actions and teach me how to do them, just like the adult shows the little one how to play correctly, that is how I demand the presence of the Creator that will play with me. This is where I find connection with Him, this is where He becomes the partner as a curator, as the kindergarten nanny for children, because He is our Creator at the end of the day, we don't escape Him. Our whole work is how to be in contact with Him as He started creation and He will finish creation. We just invite Him to make corrections each time and by that we learn what He did and what He needs to do and we bring ourselves to a state where we can perceive the whole of creation and become fitting for the Creator.
16. S. (59:16) If as a result of my efforts I reach despair in prayer, it's not a game for me any longer it's something serious.
R. Obviously a game is very serious, there is nothing more serious than understanding and integrating with the game of the Creator with us. Through the game we find connection to Him so our whole life is a game, yes, it is a game. But it's not a card game or meaning it's not just a game to pass time, but rather to each time to orient ourselves towards the Creator and regroup with the Creator. So, there's nothing more serious than this game of life, this game that we do and this is how we have to relate to the world all of the time. Some people don't understand and don't recognize it but gradually we begin to see that everything exists this way in a certain kind of partnership, friendship between us and Him.
17. S. (01:00:56) When we touch spirituality will the game continue?
R. The game continues until the final correction because the game means that I want to be at a higher degree than what I am now and in the current degree, the present degree I have to play as though I am in a higher degree. This is called with faith above reason with the connection between us we play as though we are better than we are now. I have to scrutinize what does it mean to be at a higher spiritual degree, what does it mean to be similar to the Creator, what does it mean to be more connected between us? So, the game is a means by which to rise in the degrees of similarity to the Creator the game doesn't stop it only stops at the final correction when we correct ourselves. Until then playing is the necessary action by which we each time become similar in accordance to the Creator.
18. S. (01:02:31) If playing in spirituality, a game is the most important thing, how come the word game, does it parallel the plague?
R. The pandemic, I didn't mention that, you received a bad translation or something. The game means to portray my next state and I want to achieve it, to reach it and it is higher and that is what it means in order to be in the game. We even have a song about the game of life, today we will play the game of life or something like that heard.
19. S. (01:03:45) When our game is not above reason, can acting in reason harm the friends as a result of our ego?
R. I don't really know what is above reason or below reason here, I see you get confused with that. If I want to describe and to depict in my group a higher spiritual state where all of the friends rise a bit higher than their ego and connect into a beautiful positive connection into each other this means that I am playing the game because I don't have that great relationship with them but I play as so we are having that. I have to be aware that this is an imaginary state for us but in order to resemble the higher state that is called the game. It is just like when we play all sorts of games as children, we play as if we are grown-ups, as if we are there. So, girls typically play with their dolls or pretend they're cooking and boys typically play with cars or balls but in whatever the case may be we are playing as if we are doing something that all adults are doing, something more than what we are doing now. Then every level of the game has a higher mind and heart so the same happens in corporeality and spirituality. This is why we paid so much attention to games that we build for our children. I want my child to play the games that will make him the best. Today we have reached a point where we all play with our phones and so on the one hand it causes a decline for all of humanity and on the other hand it'll put us to a new test which we will see soon.

R. R.
