Why the Jews? Part 1

Only Kabbalah speaks of the uniqueness of the Jewish people. This nation possesses a methodology for correction—for unifying the world. But when the Jews do not make use of this method, they plunge the entire world into a sea of troubles. As a result, all people on Earth subconsciously feel their dependence on the Jewish people. That sense of dependence today is negative rather than positive, because the Jews are not fulfilling their mission: to unite among themselves and, through that unity, to unite the entire world. Some 3,500 years ago, a crisis erupted in Ancient Babylon. Hatred arose between people. Abraham revealed the Higher system and the formula by which it operates. Egoism has grown from generation to generation, and humanity’s task is to cover all transgressions with love, proportional to the growth of ego. Abraham gathered around him a group of thousands who desired to rise above their egoism and attain the qualities of the Creator. He named this group “Israel,” meaning “direct to the Creator.” Today, we must once again reach the state of the people of “Israel,” attain the quality of love, and pass it on to the nations of the world. So— Who is called a Jew? Is being a Jew a matter of nationality or spiritual belonging? Why do Jews so often irritate one another? And why is Kabbalah being revealed in the world now?
