Part 1: Part 1: Baal HaSulam. Introduction to The Book of Zohar

Reader: Shalom, we are going to be studying from the writings of Baal HaSulam, “Introduction to the Book of Zohar.” You can find the study material in the Arvut system as well as on Sviva Tova. We are in the “Introduction to the Book of Zohar.”

Reading Article: (00:44) “I would like to begin with everything…”

M. Laitman: (21:52) So far are there any questions?

Student: (22:15) On one hand Baal HaSulam is encouraging us to investigate, to inquire with many questions here and on the other hand he is saying here in item four that under the complete operator never would such a despicable and flawed action would come forth. Where does this assumption come from? It doesn't connect with reality. If we look at reality, we can say that it's flawed and corrupted.

M. Laitman: If the operator is complete then all of his actions are complete.

Student: (22:55) So we start our inquiry from a starting point that the operator is whole?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: Why is he complete? Why is he whole?

M. Laitman: Because this is how we receive it. We will be able to attain it in actuality only at the end of creation, in the goal but in the meantime, we trust the Kabbalists who tell us that the Creator is good and doing good, there is no flaw in Him and therefore it's not for everyone or anyone that he can cause any flaw, any detriment, and so all of His actions are complete and good. This, for the time being, is our assumption because we cannot attain it in our senses, in our vessels but this is what Kabbalists say, that we have to accept that for the time being.

M. Laitman: Is there somebody else there? Yes.

Student: (24:17) Good morning. Those same Kabbalists say that the Zohar has the greatest light for our correction, it came exactly for this time and the question is why do we need the introduction? Why? Because we read it already many times so the question is with what intention actually to read this introduction?

M. Laitman: Anything that we get, we have to get that gift, seemingly this giving, with a certain calculation of what is it that I want out of it, whom does it come from and which desire precisely inside of me receives it and what connection exists between me and Him, between the person and the Creator so that through the connection between us, when something comes to me it's already a connection, right? So from the very first moment when this becomes connected to me, this message from above, what is my role and how should I respond, how do I change myself in order to receive this thing that is given to me in the right way?

Student: (26:00) He says, until the body rots the soul cannot rise to the Garden of Eden. What is the body that needs to rot?

M. Laitman: I don't know, he's giving us a condition. What is the body? We don't quite know his definition, what does it mean to rot? We also don't know.

Student: What is a soul?

M. Laitman: We don't know that either. These are still names and definitions that, well we hear them, we give them a certain place inside of us, we remember them and bit by bit later on when we go back to scrutinize them again and again in different forms then we begin to understand their value and their relations between them, etc.

Student: I actually thought before I came to ask you I thought that the body is the desire to receive for myself, meaning until it is completely in bestowal, the desire to receive in order to bestow, then actually the soul…

M. Laitman: Well, we will see. He will have to tell us each and every thing. It's not what we think but rather we want to follow the book, the writing.

Student: (27:25) In several places he writes to understand the questions and these inquiries, there's one way and that's to look at the end of the act. What is it to look at the end of the action?

M. Laitman: We will read the entire introduction. This is what it seems like for us in the meantime that we will read the entire introduction patiently and we will want to answer along the way whatever we can answer, scrutinize whatever we can scrutinize and in the end, through a study, which also develops within us over time, by that we will attain these things.

Student: He continues and writes that you cannot understand a thing in the middle of its work, only in the end. What is that end that you want, that you're focused on and you're doing everything in relation to it? What is the end of the act that you're investigating towards?

M. Laitman: The end of the act is the world in which the corrected souls exist that have between them such familiarity, such relations, that in such a way they can contain the entire light of Ein Sof and exist accordingly.

Student: Thank you.

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: (29:07) It's exactly the same question as the friend but it's like a practical advice for life maybe? Maybe there's something that's not clear, to stop for a moment to ask, wait a minute, where is it supposed to be at the end of the act?

M. Laitman: I don’t know. I can't depict to myself this state at the end of the act even though we say that the end of the act is in the initial thought but this is a thought and this is a thought so I need to aim my thought that I'm directing it in order to reach that last final thought which is called the end of the act.

Student: That's what I'm asking. Is it here or now where he's writing to us and saying, do it according to what I'm teaching, or is he saying this is advice in life that when you stumble upon some problem, some issue in life, something that's in a question, stop for a moment and look and see how is it supposed to be at the end of the act and this is really the direction that we can go with it.

M. Laitman: I don't think that this is a guide for all the issues of life that we run across but rather he says that the fact that we see to what extent we can get closer to the purpose of creation. Along the way we stumble across all kinds of opposite states and we overcome them, and we scrutinize them, and after we put them in the right order we advance from one stage to the next stage until we put them in the right order, we advance from one stage to the next stage until we reach the end of all the stages.

Student: Thank you.

Student: (30:54) In the first inquiry he writes, how can we see that this creation would be renewed? Why is it even important? What does that mean that it's renewed?

M. Laitman: That it's new? Well, we will see. We'll see what new means. New, is creation eternal or is it new each time? So we say that we can start exploring from a certain point where the will to receive started to show its actions. This for us is the beginning of creation and the end of creation is that the will to receive takes on the form of the will to bestow. So in between these points creation exists.

Student: It is not innovated at all, it emerges from the Creator?

M. Laitman: Well we will later what new or innovated means.

Student: (32:11) It's not clear what it means that the will to receive starts to show actions, or when it's completely disconnected or when the Creator is controlling it.

M. Laitman: When the will to receive becomes free and is operated by the good force and the bad force, according to that we see on its side different actions and then we judge, what is He doing, why, with what intention, etc.

Student: At what point do we relate to it that this is where creation is happening? When is that point where the desire to receive becomes free?

M. Laitman: Free, well, we can't say that it is ever free but the will to receive that was created as a will to receive has only one role, to constantly search and find its destiny.

Student: But if he always does it under the control of the Creator, he's not free. There's no creation can…

M. Laitman: Well, everyone is under the governance of the Creator. There is no one who is not under the rule of the Creator but if in spite of that, still, according to the elements that the Creator created in him he feels that he wants to seemingly be the opposite of the Creator, let's say, then that's his state.

Student: It's according to the perception of the creature, of the created being?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: Does creation exist only according to the perception of the creature and not the Creator?

M. Laitman: Well, I don't know. We will see. We don't know. We just read what happened in the beginning and now we need to scrutinize in what relations the created beings exist and how do they respond to the upper force that wants to bring them to the end of creation and along the way how does each one of them change, mostly connect to the other parts of creation and in this way how they influence each other.

Student: (35:21) Yesterday as usual we prepared to learn a Rabash article “The Spies” and now that we're learning the “Introduction to the Book of Zohar.” We can ask why suddenly we started to learn this and why we're not studying a Rabash article that was prepared for us from yesterday.

M. Laitman: I can only say that the fact that you prepared to study the article, that's good, it's good, nevertheless it's your gain. The fact that we today started to read this “Introduction to the Book of Zohar”, well we have a different calculation here but now we are entering the study of the introductions and from that we will feel how much we're advancing more towards the topic of the connections between us and with the Creator. But don't think that this is a contradiction to the way it was before, it's not a contradiction, you will see.

Student: (36:45) In this process you just answered a friend that we're about to enter the method of study that we started yesterday, we did a certain method of study yesterday with ourselves? Is it connected to that?

Student: (37:34) Can I ask? How does a person need to see himself in relation to all these definitions? Does he need to identify with the desire to receive, with the godly part from above? Where is the individual in relation to all those definitions? He gives the definition that the desire to receive was created and also that there’s the soul of man is a godly part from above and also His essence, which is the source of everything, so how should a person see himself whether a person needs to see himself as the will to receive?

M. Laitman: A person should read what is written and bit by bit advance and even if he has some question that is burning inside of him he keeps it in order to scrutinize it by himself. Okay?

Student: (38:40) The article starts with existential questions, like what is the meaning of our existence and then he talks about that our sages said the Creator didn't create it but in order to delight His creatures and also in item seven he writes, and now that we know clearly that the whole reason was to delight His creatures, whoever accepts these assumptions and the faith in our sages, how does he know that those questions are burning in him and then he can make that leap and receive the faith of the sages?

M. Laitman: I don't know. What we study, we need to see how it falls into place for us with what we get from the study and then a person can scrutinize what to do with his desires and with his questions.

Student: I will just ask if there is a possibility to pass along what we are learning, what we are receiving without receiving the faith in the sages to a person on the outside?

M. Laitman: To pass it on to whom?

Student: To the public.

M. Laitman: We are not talking about the public right now, we are learning on our own. We have only one thing to do which is to study, to teach yourself. Is this clear? Okay, let's go.

Continue Reading: (40:16) Item 8. “Now we have come to understand … "

M. Laitman: Any questions? What?

Student: (43:40) This explanation of through two people to explain the law of equivalence of form. I have a comment here from a few years ago that we have to hear the article and build everything inside the Ten, to try. How do we come to such a state that everything that my friends love I also love, and what they hate I hate? How do we implement such a matter?

M. Laitman: Through the reforming light.

Student: Excellent. Also in the preparation we talked about the reforming light and we know that during the study, what is this thing exactly of the reforming light? What does it take? What does it move? There is some force that moves something. It moves it to some place that's good or what's bad. What is this reforming light?

M. Laitman: It moves inside of us our desires and thoughts and guidelines, everything that exists inside of us, so that from that we can understand that we become more and more compatible, equal to each other.

Student: We need to see before that that we're not in equivalence because if someone comes and says, hey what's going on? Okay, there's no reason to move.

M. Laitman: We are talking about the fact that we're getting closer during this work.

Student: We need to ask from the lesson, from the study, from our friends to come and connect and bring us closer?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: To come to a state where everything he hates I hate, everything he loves I love?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: What is good about that state? Why is this called reforming?

M. Laitman: By this we become one.

Student: What's good about that? Why is that good?

M. Laitman: The whole of creation, in the end, should reach, if it reaches it, it will truly become one body, one desire, and one Creator will be revealed in them. This is called the end of correction.

Student: That's what you answered the friends about the end of an act? That's where we have to go to?

M. Laitman: Well, let's say so.

Student: (46:14) Good morning. But we are different from each other. Obviously we love different things, we hate different things. In some things we're not connected at all. For example personally I can say I have a friend for 60 years and we're completely different but we're friends. We love each other. Maybe we should define what does it mean loving or hating, in what should we be equal? Because we will never be equal. Also when we talked about being the whole. Whole as I understand it, each one brings his uniqueness, his differences and from that, we create something whole. So it's unification not unity, not oneness. So, can we clarify these terms that Baal HaSulam brings us here?

M. Laitman: I understand you have claims to Baal HaSulam?

Student: I'm not complaining, I'm just trying to understand in what should I be equal to a friend? What the friend likes to eat? Beans, I'm Yemenite and I like to eat something else. So, I should start… Oh, he needs to eat to love the spicy food that I love and I need to start loving the sweet food that he loves? Or what?

M. Laitman: We need to read more and to see what equivalence of form is.

Student: That's what I'm asking because what he writes here is completely unclear.

M. Laitman: Okay. We will read some more and we'll understand what it means equivalence of form. More? Let's continue.

Question: (PT 22) (48:04) What is this inquiry called the commandment, know the Lord of your Father and serve Him?

M. Laitman: That's what is written by the sages from thousands of years ago, that what we need to reach, to come to the knowledge of the Creator, to know what He wants and we need, in every place that we are, to come closer to that form, to resemble it. So that from it we will know the Creator and be like him. Okay?

Reader: (49:04) Item 8 again. “Now, we have come to understand the words…”

Reader: (53:06) Item 8 again. “Now, we have come to understand the words of the Kabbalists…”

Student: (01:00:26) Good morning. He speaks about loving, hating, such things. So if you make the article corporeal, like the friend said, it doesn't make sense. We don't like the same food, things like that but it's not talking about loving and hating with respect to corporeality he’s talking with respect to the work, that we love bestowal and we hate ourselves so then we love the same thing, we hate the same thing in the work. Is that what it means? It's not talking about…

M. Laitman: Yes but in spirituality you also have things like in this world. One loves this one loves that, the third one, another thing, that's how the souls are also differentiated from one another.

Student: What is in spirituality that I may love and he will hate?

M. Laitman: Just like in corporeality.

Student: But in spirituality the goal is to adhere to the Creator. Isn't that the only goal?

M. Laitman: If so, then I'm asking you how can it be that if in spirituality, each is different from the other, for sure, because the will to receive in each and every one is different to his friend, at least somewhat, then how could it be that they will at some point love one like the other, precisely?

Student: It's about reason. It's disconnected from them. Their screen is directed in the same way. Above their source, above their ordinary nature.

M. Laitman: I don't quite understand. Let's say that I love my flesh, and the second one loves apples. One likes meat and the other likes apples. How could we be equal in that?

Student: Again you're talking about corporeal things. If you read this and think about corporeality there is no chance because it's disconnected. I can't love what he doesn't love, like meat or whatever but here we're talking about adhering to the Creator, no?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: So how is it related to the tastes of meat or an apple? The way to adhere to Him is similar, right, in the actions. Fine, each one comes with his forms but the general goal is the same for everyone.

M. Laitman:  Fine, you're right. Okay, you're right. Yes.

Student: (01:03:22) So it turns out that each one is going to love the Creator in a different way?

M. Laitman: Yes, also now. Each of us expresses his attitude differently towards the world, towards the friend, towards food, towards everything, towards each and every one. In this we cannot be like one.

Student: What, one is going to love more the other will love less or what?

M. Laitman:  There will also be a differentiation, yes, according to the soul, according to the internality. Each of us has different desires somewhat and then one's intentions are different as well.

Student:  How do I compliment the friend? I'm supposed to help him also, no?

M. Laitman: That's something we will learn, how I complete him. You're right. There are many questions here of how we will get there. It's okay so far.

Question: (Almaty 1) (01:04:57) What should we learn from Baal HaSulam from the reading of this introduction?

M. Laitman: We need to adhere as much as possible to the text that we're reading which is the text of Baal HaSulam and for us to want to understand it, feel it, adhere to him, both to the text and through it to the man who authored the text. This is what we need for the time being.

Question: You said that we started reading the introductions. What's common to all of the introductions? What unifies the introductions?

M. Laitman: We now are already in a very special state towards our corrections and that's why it's worthwhile for us now to once more go over several introductions, it could be that it won't be all of them, in order to see how the form of connection between us together is necessary from the foundation of the wisdom of Kabbalah.

Question: (Holland) (01:06:48) What actually is this axe? What is its function?

M. Laitman: The force that separates is disparity of form that there is in each and every desire by which each desire is differentiated from the rest of the desires and exists on its own.

Question: What is the difference between, let's say, the qualities of the mountain and the stone?

M. Laitman: The mountain includes many stones, many parts, and is connected to them by them, made up to become a mountain by them. That's why the mountain includes, is incorporated by many rocks, many stones but we need to take each and every rock and differentiate it from the mountain, correct it in relation to the Creator in order to bestow, and then to bring forth the matter of all the rocks to connect together again.

Question: How can we, let's say, get the force that is, let's say, against the force of the axe? What is needed there?

M. Laitman: I didn't understand.

Question:  Where can we get a force whose help will be able to overcome the separating force, the force of the axe that separated us? What will give us the power to overcome this axe?

M. Laitman: First we receive it from above. It's the force that created all of creation and then divided it into many pieces and arranged them according to sparks, records, and all kinds of parts, but we need to turn to that same one force that created the world to connect us together and then to the extent in which we do that we come closer to the Creator.

Question: (Baltia 2) (01:10:17) In the beginning of the article there is this example of how we meet this ugly person. Rabbi Elazar meets an ugly person. Is this an example of how the right line includes the left line and the left line includes the right line?

M. Laitman: I  don't know that yet. I'm where everyone's reading right now.

Question: We read together but only now I was left with this question from that excerpt.

M. Laitman: There I don't know what it's speaking about. Wait.

Question: (Moscow 1) (01:11:08) If it's a premise of the question I apologize but I want to be precise. The Creator, in order to express His wholeness in the opposite environment from Him, is this why He created creation so that they'll get to know Him at the opposite end from Him?  Should I repeat it? Okay. In order to express His wholeness, the Creator wanted to create an environment which is the opposite of Him. Is this why He created creation? So that they will get to know Him?

M. Laitman: Yes, you could say it that way.

Question. Through the reforming light, right?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Question. But it's also mentioned here that the final act is in the initial thought. Are we talking about closing a circle here, so that we come back to the thought of creation by building the vessel?

M. Laitman: I have no idea what you're talking about.

Question. The expansion of the light and then the departure of the light and the records remain, so the circle is seemingly closed and we go back to the initial state.

M. Laitman: What circle goes back to the beginning?

Question. Well, the circles expand from the central point more and more and then when it stops it has no possibility to continue and then it falls to the bottom.

M. Laitman: I don't know. I don't feel such forms.

Question. What does it mean that the end result or the final state is in the initial thought? He mentions it in the beginning

M. Laitman: The end of an action begins with a thought, is that every action reaches its end then we start understanding it's beginning.

Question. So, there is this feeling of time, or..

M. Laitman: I don't know dear, I don't want to know. There's thousands of people studying here and you are completely making me deviate from what's written here before us

Question: (MAK 4) (01:13:41) In the Ten there's a feeling that the difference of views doesn't allow us to reach equivalence. So the point of unity should be when we turn to the Creator and ask Him for this equivalence that He will give to us despite the differences of views. What is this unity in order to reach equivalence?

M. Laitman: I don't understand your questions. Speak in the language of Baal HaSulam.

Question: We have different views and we have to achieve equivalence but we can't do this alone and we ask the Creator to help us come to equivalence above our different views.

M. Laitman: Above the different views, yes.

Question: Is this the point of unity between us in turning to the Creator?

M. Laitman: Yes, but again I'm saying for now it's just up in the air. We can't feel that yet. Thank you.

Question: (New York 2) (01:15:18) Baal HaSulam refers to created beings as existence from absence, but also says that the souls are part of the Creator, separated from Him in form. Which aspect of created beings exists from absence and which originates from Him? What's the difference between them?

M. Laitman: Again.

Question: He says that on the one hand, Baal HaSulam speaks about the created beings as existence from absence, something that didn't exist before. On the other hand he says the soul is a part of God above, something that does exist. So, purportedly, it seems like a contradiction. So, how to relate to these things correctly?

M. Laitman: Because this is truly how the created beings build a vessel of themselves that becomes eternal like the Creator and according to His qualities they also want to be as the Creator, bestowing, and then they reach adhesion between them and that is the correct ending for everything. Even though in that ending all the parts of the created beings, according to their own nature, they supposedly aren't suitable to one another. On the contrary they have a contradiction between them but according to the correction they become as one because they have a restriction, screen, and reflected light and from the reflected light of each and every one, they connect and reach the general reflected light, which will be completely equal to the light of the Creator that bestows upon them and then, the created beings and the Creator become as one, similar to one another completely.

Question: (Latin 1) (01:18:20) Why did the architect create opposites while at the same time, all created beings look for pleasure?

M. Laitman: Again.

Question: Why did the architect create opposites, things that are opposite from one another, and at the same time we're all looking for pleasure.

M. Laitman: If we connect from the oppositeness between us we can measure and value as much as this oppositeness that we're correcting now, it brings us a big profit, an exalted state and as much as we, from the oppositeness of form, we come to resemble the Creator. That's why it was done in such a way, meaning the Creator to begin with created a creation that is completely opposite of Him in order for each and every detail in creation will feel that He is completely opposite of the Creator and what he has to do in order to resemble the Creator, so in His part and also in the collective part. Then it turns out that all of creation until its last final part understand and attain where they are as much as they are opposite and how they can reach equivalence. Is that okay?

Question: (Tbilisi) (01:20:25) In the article and from your explanation and from the article I understand that acquiring the cells in the body like the cells of the heart or the liver are different because they have different functions but they have a common goal, the general health of the body. So, likewise we have to unite despite our differences, unite for a single goal, a common goal, which is the greatness of the Creator and from the greatness of the Creator, delight Him, become similar to Him and that's the point of connection of all our friends. Should we unite around this?

M. Laitman: Correct. That is very right.

Question: (Beer Sheva) (01:21:26) Gratitude to the Creator for your being here. I'm very happy. The question begins from item seven until item nine. We always learn that the will to receive is existence from absence. In item seven it says that in fact, and I'm going to read a part of it only because it's long, ' all the filling in the thought of creation, meaning all the benefits He planned for us, are extended directly from His self and there's no point creating it anew while they are already extended existence from existence. But the great will to receive in the souls, we realize that all the substance from the beginning to the end of creation is only the will to receive." So the question of, in fact, there is no existence from absence, only existence from existence and we always learn that the will to receive is existence from absence in order for us to feel the wholeness of the Creator, we will discover that it existed in the thought of creation and it's all from Him.

M. Laitman: So, we'll discover and we'll see. We'll discover and see.

M. Laitman:.

Question: (PT25) (01:23:05) In relation to the equivalence of form that a person likes what his friend likes, in spirituality can a person clothe in the form of a friend in the way that the friend experiences the Creator and come to love this form?

M. Laitman: Again?

Question: Can a person in spirituality clothe in the connection that he sees the friend, the connection that he has with the Creator and act out of it, and in that love that form, and by this come to equivalence of form with a friend?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Question: So it's a matter of clothing in a desire in the connection of the friend with the Creator. In this we can equalize our form and is this also similar to how we equalize the form of the Creator? Because the desire of the Creator is not always pleasant for us or good for us. When I equalize the form with the desire of the friend, does it also mean that I equalize the form with the form of the Creator.

M. Laitman: Yes.

Question: (Women Turkey 9) (01:24:22) When I think about the will to receive it's not clear to me what I am receiving. What are the things I can ask of the Creator to give me?

M. Laitman: What was the question?

Question: When I think about the will to receive, it's not quite clear to me what I am receiving. So what are the things I can ask of the Creator to give me?  What are the things that she can ask the Creator to give her?

M. Laitman: While she's receiving?

Question: Yes, what can she ask of the Creator?

M. Laitman: You were in connection with others. You activated the common desire between us. You turned to the Creator with that common desire and now you receive in that desire. Now you're asking what you can ask for that desire? I don't understand.

Question: If she has a will to receive, then what can she receive? What can she ask of the Creator who will give it to her and she will receive?

M. Laitman: But what did she do before that?

Question: Can I explain the question? To bestow upon my friends, what can I ask of the Creator?

M. Laitman: Have a desire to bestow to them, a deficiency, and that you'll have an ability to bring them light from the Creator to the friends that then they will want to receive. That's what you need. Here you actually need to do two actions. One is to bestow to your friends a deficiency and the second, into that deficiency you bring a filling from the Creator. Clear?

Question: (Turkey 3) (01:28:03) What is the force that pulls a person to keep reading in the Zohar and guards him even though he doesn't understand anything?

M. Laitman: I don't understand.

Question: What is the force that guards a person even though he doesn't understand anything?

M. Laitman: Even if he doesn't understand, meaning that he can't actively work but he's there passively, it still works on him and from those actions that he's in under the influence of the Zohar, what the Zohar illuminates on him, he advances. It holds him, let's say, as if he's in a boat in the sea, so he saws the boat and he's in the ocean and for now there's no problem even though he doesn't advance towards the goal.

Question: (H4) (01:29:53) What signs did the Creator leave in the strike of the axe so we can adhere to Him again.

M. Laitman: We feel ourselves separated from the Creator and that below, that's a record, the Reshimot we have. Now that is what we are implementing right now from here and on we're turning to the Creator that he will strengthen the connection between us and from that connection we can start working.

Question: (Women Heb1) (01:30:52) I can't understand, if we were carved from the same mountain how come we are so different from one another?

M. Laitman: We, each one of us in their foundation are completely different from one another but we all reach one record, one Reshimot from very different records but when we connect we perform this unity, this unity connects us then we connect through some intention which is more than us, broader, more external and this way we build the connection between us, that's it.

Question: Yes, but from where did the differences come? If I cut bread now, for example, the slices will be similar, maybe different in form but the same composition. In us every discernment is like from a different world. Where does it come from?

M. Laitman: We are all incorporated from those Seifirot but each and every one is activated from a different Sefira from those ten. That's why we are, we also look different, we also work in a different way where each one is different than the other.

Question: Before that everything was connected in one soul?

M. Laitman: Before everything was connected in one soul because we were all under that one light, one umbrella and that light clothes us together and under its great, powerful, unified influence, it would annul all of our desires that contradict each other and He would bring us into unity but unity on His behalf and not by us, then there was the shattering and now we need to come out of this shattering and bring ourselves to that unity but through our powers.

Question: What are we correcting now?

M. Laitman: We are correcting the separation, the shattering.

Question: How is it possible to correct the shattering? Is it something internal?

M. Laitman: Listen and you'll understand..

Question: (PT 39) (01:34:15) If one loves what one's friend loves and hates what one's friend hates is this a result from them loving one another? Or is the love the result of hating what his friend did and loving what his friend loves?

M. Laitman: No, first you love and hate exactly as the friend. That brings to love. That brings to equal equivalence of form.

Question: (Women Moscow 18) (01:34:47) It is actually the oppositeness of creations in their form of reception creates diversity and that's the wonder of the creation that the Creator created but we are fighting against Him. Is this how it's meant to be in the initial thought? And we have to come to the request, right?

M. Laitman: Yes, we must.

Question: (H10) (01:35:34) When the lady asked you if the soul was already connected and you said yes, so was it, it was already broken and somehow it was connected? To be precise, the soul was as a whole already, but it was broken for the first time.

M. Laitman: Does he understand what he's asking about? Yes I know he understands Hebrew, but does he understand what we're talking about?

Question: What I'm trying to explain is this, very simple. The woman asked if the shattering, if the soul was it broken? It was connected and then it blew up again, exploded again in the sin of Adam HaRishon or was the soul new and complete, and that was its first explosion?
