In the originally created common soul, the male part represents the screen, the quality of bestowal, and the female part - the vessel (Kli), the quality of reception. Woman is desire, and therefore the feminine principle in our world is fundamental. Woman is closer to nature, she makes fewer mistakes, she has natural, real needs. The shattering of the screen in the World of Infinity led to the fact that the quality of bestowal became inverted and turned into the desire to receive, opposite to the male nature. Therefore, male egoism is unrestrained, detached from reality, burdened with pride and the lust for power. All the actions of men in the world, conditioned by the opposition of their egoism to the former spiritual state, generate many problems. Men, according to the nature of the screen, represent the active part, which suppresses the female part. This stems from the spiritual root, where, under the correct pressure of the screen on the vessel, the male and female parts attain perfection, harmony, adhesion with the Creator. Despite the fact that after the shattering the correct interaction disappeared, the leading role of men in the world was preserved. As a result, their uncorrected actions have driven humanity into a dead end. To get out of this dead-end state, we must understand our primordial nature and the mechanism of correct spiritual interaction between men and women. The role of the woman is to awaken in the man the aspiration toward the Creator. With her thoughts, she must generate in the man the desire to work with the light, acquiring the quality of bestowal and restoring the broken screen. The man, feeling the woman’s need, passes her request to the Creator, receives the light, and fills her desire. Just as a wife expects from her husband success in work and provision for the family, so too in spiritual work the woman expects and demands from the man the fulfillment of her spiritual needs. The inner demand of women, their support and control, properly organize men. Such interaction between the male and female desires within each of us, and between the male and female parts of the common soul, gives us tremendous strength and energy in achieving our common goal, the revelation of the Upper World.
