Part 1:

Rabash. Article No. 17, (1984). Concerning the Importance of Friends

1. Rav’s Introduction: (00:35) In order to attain the Creator which is the purpose for existence we need to connect, to build a vessel, a common desire, in which the Creator will be revealed to us. It's not simple because each one of us to begin with was created with an egoistic desire which is the opposite of others, and people who reach the wisdom of Kabbalah are not altruistic or beautiful or nice or open to each other, that's on the one hand. On the other hand, also when we begin to study, we begin to see how much each and every one of us is closed within himself and he is incapable of connecting with others. This is why everything that the wisdom of Kabbalah tells us, it's entirely against our nature, against our nature. What are we going to do? And here we need to realize that we are built, created on purpose, in such a way, contradictory to each other, opposite to each other, only in order to discover specifically the resistance to connection, and the more we advance, we discover our distance from connection more and more. And this is on purpose in order to rise above the forces that distance us, in order to understand that the nature that we have to attain together in our mutual connection is the opposite of us, and in this way, bit by bit, from something and it's opposite from something and its opposite, when we are constantly in such states we attain the necessity for connection.

And if we try to connect then we find the force to overcome the distance between us, and out of that by overcoming we get closer to each other, then we begin to build and it happens gradually bit by bit over many years, that we begin to build a connection between us which is called the Shechina, so that even though we have inner resistance in each one towards the others and the more we learn this resistance changes, it takes on such special forms, such that we truly begin to truly recognize that apparently connecting is truly impossible. If you look at our world, well that's one thing, but if we want to reach what the Kabbalists tell us, what they recommend, what they tell us about, it is truly almost impossible, and therefore, the importance of the society is first of all in that, the importance of the society is first of all in that we help each other, we want to help. It's not that each one remains closed within himself but rather each one understands that he needs to push the others to connection through examples. By performing all kinds of actions this is called “each one shall help his friend.” It's difficult, it is difficult for each one to come out of his ego, come out of himself, a person lives within himself however, there is no choice, we have to reach a state as it was prior to the shattering of the soul of Adam HaRishon where we will all be as one man with one heart and then according to the nearing between us, to the connection between us, according to that we will be able to attain the quality of bestowal, the quality of unity.

To the extent that we get closer to it and we attain it, to that extent we feel how we are entering a new nature of sharing, adhesion, such that each one to some extent comes out of himself, his individual egoistic self, and he connects with the friends, so that this connection is not connection in the way it occurs in this world between friends but rather here in the Wisdom of Kabbalah we begin to discover connection which is above rejection. In our world if we have friends, relatives, people that we grew up with, we were together with them in all kinds of frameworks, this is not what the wisdom of Kabbalah demands. It says that we have to connect between us in one heart, that is one man in one heart. It's difficult for us to depict it but Kabbalists say that there is no choice. To the wisdom of Kabbalah come specifically people that within their own nature, in their depth, they're very individualistic, egoistic, far away from each other, they have no inclination towards each other, it's not pretty people that by their nature they tried to connect in it, embrace, but the opposite. If we accept this initial condition that we have all come here, each and every one of us, with our egoistic desire and we see that our ego is actually greater than everyone else, and this actually helps us.

Why does it help us? It shows us how far away we are and this is already a revelation. We didn't know before that we are so far away that we reject everyone, that each one wants to remain inside of himself, that a person lives inside of himself he lives, he feels, he perceives the form of the world, the form of life only alone. We need to try in our connection to reach a state of a circle. Like even though every step towards this circle, the Ten, is very difficult for us and we don't want it and we can't hold on to it, we can't hold it in our mind or in our heart, but precisely through meticulous constant, consistent work, when we do nevertheless want to be connected in some form between us in the form of a circle, we begin to understand that we are capable of talking, capable of thinking about it, maybe to even understand these things somehow depicting them on the one hand. On the other hand, we are not capable of coming closer in such a way but only inwards from far away. What shall we do? We need to do a simple thing, to overcome and make a mutual effort that if we do nevertheless try to do it, then according to this commandment we will begin to feel how much we can make an effort above the rejection, and these two opposite forces, both the nearing as well as the distancing, the nearing that we try to bring about with a small, weak personal force of each and every one, and the distancing which when we feel how much our nature from within rejects us and it doesn't let us connect or even get closer, so from these two efforts, one effort of the Creator that distances between us and our own effort to somehow at least in an external manner to get closer between us, through these two forces we begin to build a certain form of connection between us. So that's the force that rejects us, we call it Aviut, coarseness, in our force where we try to somehow have an inclination towards each other between us, this is actually the force of connection and these two forces build a system within us and this system is already considered the spiritual system.

What does that give us? It lets us build a system of forces from rejection and nearing, so that precisely by these two forces where one cannot exist without the other, we do begin to feel the system of connection between us which is called Shechina. It is a very special system that is composed of two opposing forces of connection and rejection, and this is the system in which we discover the Creator. As much as we try to fight in favor of connection, against the distancing, these forces become revealed more and more and one who is greater than his friend his inclination is greater, that precisely to the extent that we want to get closer and to connect, and build a single connection, we see how much our nature is contradictory to it and it doesn't let us connect. Then we have to go for a certain number of stages, states, in which we learn how much each one can help the other, and how much we have to care for everyone, so that knowingly within the ten not only between the ten but beyond our tens, we have to build a system of connection so that all of us will be in a single desire which is called a single heart. Let's try. This is why in the wisdom of Kabbalah there is the matter of the importance of the friends. When I reached that I didn't know anything about it, I heard such words and sentences here and there and I thought it simply means these are good people who want to reinforce their society, to be courteous, to be good to each other so that they will feel good, so that they'll have a stronger urge to come to such a society, to sit together even to prepare meals, and when Rabash started to write his articles, when he sat and wrote on his knee, on the bench in the park, he had this little notebook and he wrote. So when he started writing, I didn't know what it is that he was writing. He wrote half a sentence and another half a sentence like that and later on from that, gradually the social articles were formed. Then I realized that here there is an internal system which he has to explain to us, how we need to discover it, and inside the system we discover the Creator and there is no other way.

We can get along between us, we can be pretty and nice and courteous to each other, but to discover the system called Shechina in which the Creator dwells, we are capable of that only if we follow, if we take steps, step after step according to the order, and this is what Rabash expressed in his articles. This is why they are so important and precious for us but not any Kabbalist could do it. It has to be a special soul that comes down to our world for this role that it is ready for it in terms of our inner structure and this is why this is what happened to us. In our generation when Rabash was revealed and he explained to us, he explained, he opened to us this system that we have to get closer to, from our present state from below, and bit by bit, we need to acquire it, feel it, and see how do we apply between us those laws of the tens, we will have hundreds and thousands, as we read about it from the Torah, and this is how we build a system that eventually all the created beings, all the people in the world, will have to discover this system that we will prepare for everyone, and this is how we will advance towards the realization of the purpose of creation. Connection in the structure of Adam HaRishon which means to be “as one man in one heart,” and we will do it, and we will feel how our hearts become connected, how we get closer to each other, men and women, larger groups than Tens, it will come. There are many details in that but this is our way, this is how it will lead us to the complete connection called Gmar Tikkun, the end of correction of all the souls. This is actually what I can say concerning the importance of the friends.

2. S. (23:29) What form of connection do we need between us, do we need to build between us that it will be called Shechina?

R. We need to try to connect in tens this is clear to us this is what Rabash wrote. He wrote that as our very first step that each one finds for himself a certain other number of friends, maybe it's not tens, it's less than that, this is how we're divided to begin with already for a few years now and we should try to be together. This is the first action. I hope that from our present state and onward we will hold on to the tens more and more, we will also connect between us into congresses, into gatherings, meaning gatherings of more tens, we will feel how much we're adding to it, each one to the others. This is how we will advance until from the tens we will form hundreds and thousands.

S. The connection that will be called Shechina, what quality will be in it, what form of connection that we can say that makes up the thing called Shechina?

R. Everyone as one, everyone as one. Meaning of course nobody resembles the others not only in corporeal qualities but also even more so with the spiritual qualities. We are completely entirely different, and separate, and far away from each other however, when we nevertheless try to connect then we attach ourselves each one to his ten so as to truly feel the internal expression of attaching ourselves to the tens, and in between the tens later on, not now yet, and I don't think it's possible for it to happen in this congress, in this gathering, but later on we will try to learn after this congress and until the next congress, how we connect between the tens so that the tens will also be connected each one within itself as one man, and that will be in the same style of connection where we will begin to feel what is the difference between the desire of an individual person and the desire of the ten, the desire of ten tens and so on, as we learn from the Torah, it is even written in the Torah in the portion of Jethro.

S. What is to bind myself to something?

R. To attach myself means that I try to attach myself with the friends, in the tens for the time being-not to go above it-and be as one. Where each one is different, each one develops in a different way, however along with that we try to bring ourselves closer, each one of us, to is ten. This is how we begin to feel the individual as well as general qualities of the ten, of each one, and how much this structure is a very special structure. Why is it so special? Because in it the Creator becomes revealed. This is actually this operation and its purpose.

S. Yesterday afternoon you talked about this network of streams of love, the sea of love that we need to build and truly drown in it.

R. Yes.

S. How does a person attach himself to this sea?

R. This may become more clear to us after a good connection in the ten. We can talk about it now. We can also try, but in truth to implement it is possible only after I fill myself in the ten and together with the whole ten we take a step forward towards a broader connection. These are wonderful things that we will feel and they completely completely do not exist in our world.

3. S. (29:19) So what does it mean to acquire the system from below?

R. That here we need to understand that whatever we are doing we are really doing nothing by ourselves. It is the Creator who behind the scenes, after He became concealed in us, He built us from tens, He brings us to groups and also in the groups He changes us. Wherever we are now, who knows what will happen next, we will see that we will discover it. How much our path also changes us, it brings us closer and it pushes us away. And this is how we will begin to discover the quality of the Creator within us. Of course He planned it all, He did it to begin with, this one body called Adam and then he broke it into pieces deliberately. So that we will have to put together this body, and in it to discover the Creator and ourself. That all in all, we are the body of the Shechina. We are this vessel this collection of desires, correct desires in which the Creator becomes revealed and the Creator can be revealed just like with all the laws through something in its opposite, that as much as we have for connection and against the connection, and these forces are opposite on the one hand just like coarseness versus refinement, rejection versus connection, however on the other hand, this harmony that becomes revealed between these vessels between these forces, this harmony actually tells us about the uniqueness of the Creator. How great He is that he made us as separate parts and now He is showing us how much these parts can connect and play together and this is how we will discover Him and the whole of creation. These are things that are difficult for me to talk about, I still need to find words. I never spoke about these things but we will read about them, about these actions and we will feel them.

4. S. (30:21) In the beginning of the lesson you said that we need this common action to overcome with, what is the mutual aspect of these efforts and how does the ten need to come to that degree in which the Shechina is connected?

R. This is something we will learn, this is something we will do. I hope that within the upcoming days all in all we have four days, right? We will try to learn this to explain it, to absorb it, and then we actually do it. Before the next congress.

5. S. (34:15) You just talked about the desire in a single heart, and we have four days to come to this. What makes us truly come to this single heart to the single desire? We have so many friends here, what makes us come to this single heart?

R. No, in that we will just take one step forward, just one step forward, and to discover like from Yod, Hey, Vav, Hey from these four stages we will only discover the first stage. Let's say today and this is how it will be day after day within the four days that we have until the end of the congress. We will scrutinize these things and we will try to connect between us into tens, first of all into tens, and we will learn how we help each other, how each ten helps the other tens. And we will succeed.

6. S. (36:04) My dear friend Abraham, if you agree as the representative, representative of the whole ten for me return to the ten today, this moment?

R. This is something that I don’t know. Well, he also, what can he decide alone, these are things you have to agree on in the ten. We can't open it up here and make a decision here, okay.

7. S. (36:53) In the matter of one will help his friend, you say we do this through example for one another and you can feel like this example is the form of bestowal filled with deep layers the question is when a friend gives an example to the ten, on what as a result that he hopes for and wishes for this example to yield?

R. That he will implement it as it should be, he should give such an example according to his opinion if the ten will implement this example apparently as evidence in writings then the entire ten will advance.

S. There is a matter in the example in the world example as if a certain way in the form of the equivalence of form, a friend needs to feel like on one hand, he represents the Creator and on the other hand, he's trying to pass it on to the ten as if it's he's the shots representative or some other form like that. Can you explain what the system as the person who stands between or wants to give an example, how he operates with his ten, with his system this way?

R. We will find these things in the writings of Rabash and we will bring them here. During this Congress.

8. S. (38:42) We can feel that the introduction that you gave now, was like an arrow into the heart so that we can't remain indifferent and maybe we heard these things many times before but it feels new. I want to ask, you feel that the special preparation we made of studying the writings of Rabash in the matter that we opened them. Does it give us some special potential and does it enable you to reveal something new to us? Now as we are entering this special gathering and the whole world Kli is making it a great effort towards this goal?

R. The wisdom of Kabbalah is called the wisdom of the concealed. Why is it concealed this wisdom? Because only people reveal it to those who use it correctly. In the nearing between them connection between them and building this network system of connections between them such that in this network they reveal this wisdom. It doesn't come into our brains as some special wisdom, but rather and it's written in many places that the wisdom of Kabbalah doesn't need smart people, wise people it needs people who are willing and capable of working on their hearts. That are capable of arranging their desires in such a way that each desire of one will complete the desires of the second and the third etc., and in such a way they establish this network of connections between them and reveal their the general force of bestowal called the Creator.

S. You can feel very clearly and we can see it in practice how each and every friend, man and woman, we can feel how they're serving their heart and turning off their self for the purpose for the common purpose. Where is the point where we need to knock on exactly? So that every friend will receive additional power to say I want this. And to truly enable this new place where we lift the vessel to the Creator?

R. You're running ahead of the cart, so don't ask before we learn those things.

9. S. (41:49) Is the system of Shechina within our nature or is it above it?

R. Within our nature of course, we are in the same system and the Creator is in us and all the worlds. But the question that comes is why is it concealed from us that we don't see all of this?

S. You said that we are inside our egoistic desire, so we need to discover that inside of our drive, our urge. So, how can I rise above my egoistic desire?

R. No one is capable, rather by envy, lust and honor we will try to overcome and rise above our place, meaning above our qualities and come to the right connection. And we'll discover it.

10. S. (43:51) How can we reach one whole in the ten above the rejection? and above the differences between us?

R. How can the ten rise above the ten differentiated forces and connect in such a way that we will all be as demanded of the ten “as one man with one heart?” We will talk about it, it's not simple. We know that it's truly impossible besides certain moments when we think about it with great efforts, but the main thing is that we need to connect and demand from the Creator the forces of correction so that they will make out of us this form of ten into one.

11. S. (44:56) We are here in order to give our heart, and I come with a feeling that the heart is more shut each time, it's difficult everyday and every time the friends give me gifts I feel the heart becomes more tough and I cannot see the way out, I cannot see how I can help the friends, everyday I only see my stony heart, the prayer and everything else seems pointless to me, what should I do in such a state? What should I add?

R. That's the form of our nearing the nearing between us is the advancement to the goal by us revealing our nature in a clearer way and more and more, in which we are truly all created from one ego, just like the Creator says, “I have created the evil inclination..,” and between us he created man this way and all of man is the evil inclination, an egoist and in such a way that we have yet to discover it, where we have yet to feel this, but we need to reveal this and to feel it and to correct it. Our correction is not necessarily by us correcting things but even though we read it like that, we address the Creator in prayer and pray convincing Him to help us and to build in us a new heart meaning a new desire, a desire to bestow, a desire to love, a desire to connect. And this is how we will try to work.

12. S. (47:55) What is the force of the desire?

R. The force of desire is the desire inside of a person in which he wants to fill himself, our foundation is the desire to receive and filling the desire to receive is called that force, the force of desire we fill in us which moves us and all kinds of directions according to what is revealed in us as a lack or a deficiency.

13. S. (48:54) What is the addition of participating with the regular tens during the congress?

R. We need to build a connection in the ten just like Rabash teaches us, we cannot escape this, to be confused and connect with other people even though they have the same goal, but it creates disbursement of the feelings, the intentions, the thoughts and therefore, we need to try to connect nevertheless somewhat closer to our tens.

S. If I have a drive to become incorporated with and mixed with all the other friends?

R. This is not contradictory.

S. Why is this considered running away? How do I run away from my ten, where is that manifested?

R. As you invest your forces, your intentions, the forces of your soul in connecting with others which you are nevertheless not building at this moment, the infrastructure of your spiritual desire.

S. How does the balance work between my personal ten and the general ten?

R. We haven't learned this yet but we will learn, first of all we need to sustain and hold on to the central point or the balancing point for us, our fundamental point which is the ten, each and his permanent ten.

S. In the upcoming Congress in the four days that we have?

R. That's how we want to go out with a ten.

S. What do we want to come out of the congress with?

R. We want to come out of the ten from the convention from the feeling that now in the ten that is where we are and feel that this is my small structure.

S. This feeling of the ten what are the boundaries of the feeling of the ten?

R. The boundaries of the feeling of the ten are that these are people that I am permanently with in the study, and dissemination, and in everything, and we are learning how to come closer to one another, how to nullify before one another, and what this needs to give us meaning the ten is the inner structure of ours, we don't see this for the time being we think that it's ten bodies but actually, the inner content of the ten is the structure of the soul.

S. So again in this Congress what kind of calculation should I make towards the other tens, the other friends who are not from my individual ten?

R. To be with everyone nicely in a good way but in an inner connection truly needs to be in the ten and with all the rest of the tens also but not with the same tendency or inclination is hard to explain yet.

14. S. (52:40) What turns individuals to become a ten?

R. The fact that we want to connect in order to reveal the Creator in the connection between them.

S. How does it change from this being the desire of each one to this becoming the desire of the ten, how is this ten born with this work?

R. We can see this in many examples in our world where people connect and build for themselves a certain goal and to attain the goal they can do only when they are connected, so that's how it is for the time being.

S. This is clear but I just heard you say that the ten is the desire of the soul, so this thing that you attain it, we create it together, where is it?

R. We stabilize this together with the Creator in the revelation of ten as one, whereas in each ten there is one goal, and these ten want to be as one.

S. What would I do besides externally being together and working?

R. They mostly want to come closer internally where they have this inclination to be in one desire, to discover the One Creator that they have between them all together as one, and for there not to be any difference between them even though there is a difference in the nature of each and every one between them, but they want for there to be between them something that binds them together and that is the Creator.

S. And those people who want to become built together as a ten everything that happens around them this whole gathering this whole Congress that happens around them how do they use it in order to build the ten for themselves?

R. They need to build the structure of the ten between them, both men and women, not mix between them but each and every gender to itself, and this is how we will discover more and more details in this.

S. But It's just that you said that the result of the Congress should be that we will succeed in building a ten?

R. Tens.

S. Yes, many times. So I'm asking about that, how do we use this whole gathering in order to succeed in building tens so that everyone who gathers now will come out of here with a ten?

R. We will try to read about this to find the materials, those who are responsible for the study material need to think first of all where do we find more materials on how to connect the tens and how to work in the ten, and then accordingly we rise from one degree to the next.

S. This is clear but can you depict to us this point in which we enter and what do we come out with, can you give us this depiction?

R. We need to come out of this convention connected in the tens, in our permanent tens, to the best of our ability, there is not simple work here, as some of our tens are overseas and some are here, and we need to connect ourselves so that after the convention we are working in our tens and with that we are connected between us, but that's already a different style of connection, for example I have a family, a wife, children, I'm connected with them, and besides that I have a place in which I connect with my friends, and more and more.

S. This is clear so what will be the difference in our connection today versus our connection after the Congress? What will be the addition that we want to come out of the Congress with?

R. For us to leave here with the intention if not in the complete action of how we need to be connected between us, and after the convention we will already try to until the convention is concluded we can connect with our tens and such a manner that we will be together with them even though they might be physically in other place.

15. S. (58:30) Now I sit with my permanent ten and they are friends who came from all over the world so how if I don't sit this whole congress if I am just with them how can I feel this whole great thing by working in this field?

R. You're learning the major principles of the form of connection with others, and out of that you're implementing it in your close in your ten which is your permanent ten, your foundation, your base, and from that you also try to be connected with everyone, also with that part of your ten that may maybe oversea.

16. S. (59:45) Yesterday I heard this advice that I had to sit with their ten and some of them came alone out of their whole ten, their whole ten is still overseas so some of them were sitting alone during the workshop and now here you described a very inner action in a way that I connect internally with the ten. So can you give advice if somebody came alone here without his ten how do we work during the Congress in order to apply the advice that you gave now?

R. For the time being he needs to be connected for with some ten here he won't be alone here, you won't sit in some corner alone, that's it, and after the convention when he returns to his ten, if he has such a ten, then he needs to bring there the feeling and the study, and the program of the ten, and try to build from his permanent tens that he's coming back to, the ten in every means possible, we will learn and it will become clearer and clearer. We have yet to start anything yet. Leave it, leave it.

17. S. (01:01:32) Over many years we've been trying to do the work in the ten, to find a common feeling, a spiritual feeling, what do you expect out of us to do now in the Congress that we haven't done thus far?

R. Whatever we learn we will implement, that's it.

Reading Concerning the Importance of Friends. (01:02:05)

18. S. (01:14:56) Thank you for the explanation of how we all came to the wisdom of Kabbalah. I’m a bit wicked, I'm a very bad person and I can't do anything of what Rabash writes and you say that we have to discover even more and more evil inside of us. I'm afraid that my ten will drive me out if I reveal more evil, so how to learn, how to work with this inner evil and not let it come out, please help me?

R. We have to prepare ourselves for revealing nature, the spiritual nature, the upper eternal, great, infinite nature, and nothing is revealed towards the created beings unless from its opposite. Therefore, we have to be ready for two opposite things to always be revealed, opposite qualities, thoughts, desires, relationships, and out of their opposite-ness we will be able to understand our place, to understand ourselves, the Creator, only in this way. Therefore, we have no reason to be afraid or ashamed, we need only to do our work, each day a little bit more and what is revealed through the work and to accept it gladly because we understand and feel what is happening to us.

This is what I would say and don't be afraid, don't be afraid. We only need to understand that our whole way is governed from Above and we will try to advance and the main effort and success depends on the extent to which all of us together work on this, participate in this, that's all. In other words, to the extent that we help each other, accordingly we will all advance, don't look so much at each other. Meaning of course I look at others and because of my ego I don't want to be the last one on the one hand, on the other hand, we still need to understand that the whole connection to the purpose of creation is in being together, together and there is no ‘one’ here, one individual who can rise over the other but rather to the extent that one is incorporated in everyone else, accordingly he advances.

19. S. (01:20:29) I feel confusion and I can't understand when the friends see a deficiency in me and start telling me about it, how to relate that to the Creator. When I understand that in the eyes of the friend I'm below in importance and they put themselves higher than me, I see it's a bad example and it's hard for me to find the right direction, but I'm still supposed to ascribe it to the Creator, I can't find the direction.

R. You don't need to open anything, you simply need to advance through what you understand from what the Kabbalists write. Everything is going well with you, I don't see any problems, you simply need more time and more desire to be connected to the Creator.

S. How to find a connection once you see that there is disturbance between the friends but the disturbances are not on my behalf, it's from a friend?

R. The Creator positions things in the way for us and there will be many more such problems, to the point that we come to intense hatred towards each other. It's also written by Kabbalists, so we shouldn't run away from it, we will hate each other, we will even be willing to kill one another, this is what is written, but this is how we will advance. The important thing is to hold on to each other, despite such relations that emerge. We have to understand that on the one hand the Creator shows us special relations between us the hatred and the distance etc., that's on the one hand, and on the other hand, we must understand that in spite of everything, we must be in love for one another, despite our willingness to kill. This is also what is written about the early disciples that when they came together they were willing to kill and to hate one another and afterwards, when they began to go into the study, to draw on themselves the upper light, it all passes away and ends in them embracing and connecting in their hearts. We must under no circumstances rely on what we feel today.

20. S. (01:25:57) I'd like to say before everyone how much I love my ten, my ten is not here, and I don't feel that the distance is disturbing our work, they're becoming closer. They are the basis of the connection I feel here. What should be my work here in the Congress with friends that I know for many years but they're not part of my ten?

R. Not this time but in future times we will be together with them in an augmented ten. A ten, 20 or 30 or 100 or 1,000 you will be with them, together. In the meantime you have to be in your own ten or in a ten in this current Congress and you become incorporated in order to realize some part of the work, but it's your own personal work.

21. S. (01:27:49) Continuing the friend, everything that happens in the ten is the Creator speaking to us. How can I know what the Creator wants of us and what He's telling us if He's leading us to the right or the left?

R. The Creator wants to feel from our part that love for one another, and in this mutual love between us we will prepare a place for Him, so that He, too, will be able to be revealed between us. The relations of love between us will be called Shechina, the place for the revelation of the Creator.

S. We should accept everything that happens with an open heart?

R. Of course everything that happens, happens because of our qualities and therefore, all of those qualities we must change them into love and connection and mutuality.

22. S. (01:30:03) Even though it's true of what we're saying about the ten and the structure and the connection between the friends, there's something I'd like you to aim at me better. When a group attains a connection that builds a Partzuf, the moment we connect the Partzuf is it built in the ten?

R. When the group attains the Partzuf, what Partzuf does he attain?

S. When a group connects do they attain the Partzuf?

R. It attains its own Partzuf, yes, and then it learns within it, out of the connection between them, it learns the laws of creation, because from where do Kabbalists know these rules? No one gave it to them as a book, a book of laws, or took them to some laboratory where they can study, only by learning the laws of connection between them and they learn it in the ten. This is why along with the study they rise on the rungs of the ladder until they achieve more and more and more spiritual corrections and along the way they learn all kinds of forms of connection between them.

S. The connection in the ten is caused by the light that comes from Keter, Hochma, Bina and descends or rises from Malchut upward, from the work developing in the ten?

R. Yes, a person learns through his work in the ten, through this he learns spiritual laws and from this he understands what is happening and what is written in the books, what Baal HaSulam wrote for us. He attained it this way, and this is the way we attain.
