TES Vol 3 Part 10 Inner observation.
1. R. (00:20) I chose this part because this is talking about the first impregnation (Ibur), we are always now speaking about in our excerpts about conception, how to enter conception so we will see how Baal HaSulam speaks about it in the language of Kabbalah.
Item 1 (00:47) “Here the Rav divides the seven parts of the Melekim ….”
2. R. (02:22) Meaning, there are questions here with regards to the scrutinies. How do we scrutinize the vessels in order to correct them? First of all these vessels are divided into light, sparks and vessels, three parts. How do we correct each and every part? We have a system and in raising the vessels to certain levels in the system, that is how the system is corrected. He says that, well he doesn't mention any more than raising prayer here, but as the vessels rise to a certain level, a certain portion is corrected, then another portion. Through these lights, sparks and vessels we correct all of them and we can use them all in order to bestow.
Item 2 (03:16) “And initially we will clarify the matter of the sparks….”
3. R. (03:33) Meaning, they didn't fall themselves, for themselves. They fell in order to revive and shine on the vessels. There is a feeling and understanding and directions in the vessels that all comes from the sparks.

4. R. (06:34) Just as we learned that we have vessels and desires and if their intention is in order to bestow then these vessels can take the light into them. They are similar as the light because they have an intention to bestow as the light has. The same here, direct light and the reflected light, they can come closer and clothe into each other.

5. S. (09:07) What does it mean by records (Reshimot) that we are now studying?
R. What kind of example to give you? Look, if we take a human and we take out all of the records that are in his mind, then he just doesn't know what to do. He won't know how to move his hands, his legs, he will be like a newborn baby, nothing. Records are all of the information, the data, the impression from all that the vessel has been through in previous states. They all exist together in the vessel and it is called Reshimot.
S. So is it possible to say that these are all the impressions that we feel?
R. No. It is not from our world. We are not talking about the human in this world right now. We are talking about the Adam that was in various spiritual states in order to bestow. Now this degree has departed from him and what he has left is the records and with these records he goes on to the next degree.
S. How does he determine that this state he can use truly to bestow?
R. This is why he has a group and he can turn to the Creator to realize the records that he has. This is how he clarifies them, connects them and asks. He does this together with the group and the Creator and this is why he doesn't go wrong. The records are intended to operate the person in the right way which means in connection with the group and the Creator.
S. What does it mean that the records rise?
R. The upper light that would come into the vessels with the screen in order to bestow, it then spreads into the vessel. After the vessel finished its role and the lights departed, a new record appeared, worse than before, broken, which now needs to be corrected. Then the light that departed is above the vessel. In the vessel a new record arises and this record now needs to be corrected. This is what it is about. This is our work.
6. S. (12:35) What are the conditions for the vessels so that the records rise above it? As we are trying to be one vessel and we want to clarify all the impressions of the lights on us. What would be the condition for the records to rise?
R. If I am in adhesion with the Creator and in a desire to realize my desire only in order to bestow. This already arranges within me all of the records and lights in the right order. This is how we work, I only try to do the work. All work is called the work of the Creator. Meaning that the Creator does it. What is up to me is only to annul before the records, the new state. This is what is called ‘the Creator will finish for me.’
S. So as we are making efforts and these efforts invite the light that reforms? But after, what I have a difficulty with, is between the coarse light and the other lights. So within this group we can start to feel those things within the vessel of the group and how can we differentiate? Or is this too early?
R. It is too early, it is incorrect and too early but we will get there. The material is such that it is not that clear. Possibly we won't continue with that but move to something else.
7. S. (14:55) How to force ourselves to grasp the lesson correctly when it is just not getting into us?
R. We learn the lesson even though we don't understand, for the purpose of remedy, as a remedy. Meaning, what I learn indicates the state of the embryo that I want to be an embryo and being an embryo does not depend upon how much I understand these things. Say a person in this world, who takes care of an embryo that is within the woman. He is not in the place of the embryo. He is just helping so that the embryo is developing in this way. Our work is only in nullifying ourselves as we discussed in the first part of the lesson every day. When we become wiser, when we attain the inter states, then when we will study TES, this part ten of TES, we will understand what is actually going on with us. But as we enter the conception we are only in annulment and through the annulment we slightly feel our existence to some extent in the upper world, in the rulership of the Creator. But that is all that we have. So don't worry about not understanding anything. Because we want to attain, so just reading these things, and even understanding these things with your external mind is possible, but to feel how it happens in us, how the records go up and down within us and how the lights go in and out, this is what we need to discover. That we still don't have because it depends on our devotion of how much we nullify ourselves. Then the lights can operate on us and show its action. This does not depend on our mind whatsoever. It is not the smart one who learns but rather how much we want to nullify ourselves and to be the embryo in the hands of the upper one, through the hands of the group. This is how it works.
8. S. (18:16) Why do we never combine, let's say, the language of TES with the Articles of Rabash. Let's say we read some except, why not indicate that Rabash writes this in this article according to these examples and this is how it is internally connected?
R. Because we don't feel what TES is saying and this is why we can't tie these things together. If I explain to you now a recipe for how to make some dish. I will tell you to take salt, pepper, take this, take that. To cook it this way and that way, but you have no idea what all these components are and what needs to be done with them. So how will you understand anything? Without the feeling we can't do anything. Only the upper light when it comes to us and lets us feel something, from the feeling we begin to understand but the feeling comes first. Just as it is in our world, first we feel and then we understand that through the different relationships between the feelings we understand the matters because our foundation is a desire to enjoy, a will to receive.
9. S. (20:25) I understood, maybe incorrectly, that a record is like a program that has also the data of experiences and impressions. So why take it outside the vessel, why does it work like this, what does this give?
R. Records are what we have from the previous state. It contains a lot of data. It's not just one word. According to this data we can move forward to the next state. We operate by the records. If you delete all of the records from a person, he will be like a madman. He won't understand where he is, or what is going on and what he needs to do. Even to the point of just moving his hand and doing the simplest actions. Records are the data that exists within the vessel and they direct the vessel.
S. So why does it say here about taking the record outside the vessel?
R. In order to change states, to change through states, we have to also change the records. To make actions. As a result of these actions, new records remain, bigger records. Accordingly we advance.
10. S. (22:16) Can you explain a bit more about the corrections of light?
R. That is a general question. All that is done is done by the lights. What does the light do? It shines and then we feel bad because this is how it shines with its posterior and opposite that we feel bad. When it shines with its face, I feel good. Because then it shows me how much I am somewhat close to Him. The light shines in different aspects, inner light, reflected, direct light, surrounded light, the light that comes in and the light that departs, extensive light and so on. The influence of light over the vessel is ultimately the Creator. It is everything. I can’t say more than that if you don’t ask more concretely.
11. S. (23:26) We just talked about conception and annulling and I would like to ask a question about the preparation for the congress. We are getting closer to the Congress at the moment and this is really felt. We are activating all sorts of preparations. We would really like your guidance and to give a main focus on what we should concentrate on. Can you please give us a direction on how to prepare correctly for the Congress?
R. What is the theme, the name of the Congress?
S. Coming to Ibur.
R. Ibur, conception. We need to talk about that. We need to make actions, we are studying this topic of conception for maybe two months or more. We have to see how are we moving to this. How this state is becoming more familiar to us, closer to us, more customary for us. As we speak about family, something that we feel, what is the conception, what state do I need to be in and who envelops me, who is in connection with me. What kind of thoughts and desires do I have and what is this whole set of conditions that we call Conception? What is that, this is what we need to clarify together. So let's process that, let us prepare such questions and clarify them through the lessons and move toward the Congress this way. The Congress should be as a summary of all of our studies about the conception. Today I didn't think we would go into the inner observation that we just read a part of. But just to show how complex these matters are. You can't learn them without feeling them somewhat. Otherwise it will just be this kind of intellectual study, like engineers who don't actually know what they are dealing with. Tomorrow we will go on to something else. We will study something else. This was an example and I am happy that you are asking about this. We will move forward towards the Congress where we delve deeper into the topic of conception. You can find and send me material that is more and more relevant, deep and inspiring. We need to start feeling, the main thing is what does it mean to be in Concepcion. What kind of feeling and relationship should we have between us. How should we build this environment called a womb. How do we make room for the Creator to shine on us and develop us with His light. This is what we need to do. Like a person who goes into a new apartment. He designs it, builds it, plans what it needs to be. Similarly, this is how we need to think about conception.
S. It's very clear. It is nice to hear that it is about feeling and developing this feeling, and really preparing ourselves. How do we get to this feeling that you are talking about, of coming into conception?
R. If we are a will to receive, then whatever is felt in the will to receive is called a feeling. This is what we are talking about. So let’s clarify. What is the embryo, what does it feel, towards whom, and so on. We have talked about this many times but let us clarify it in such a way that it will be clear to us.
12. S. (28:59) Are records similar to the type of data felt in a scene of a movie, or a movement in a song? Is it like billions of ones and zeros, trillions of ones and zero? Is this kind of what it's like, this feeling?
R. Let's say so, let’s say that. Records are a state of the vessel including the light, the desires and all of the data, everything that there is. There is just a lack of one thing, the light departed from the vessel and left what is called record. Why is that a good thing, a positive thing? Because then, because the light departed, then we can discover what is in the vessel, what desires, what connections and what directions. The light is not fulfilling the vessel and it allows us to feel all of the inner condition of the vessel.
13. S. (30:19) How can we trust what we are feeling? Should we just say that my will to receive felt that? What should I do with it?
R. We need to clarify with the ten, from the state that we are in, and gradually discover all of the connections between us. We will see that this is our spirituality and not the bodies of other friends, this is where spirituality is.
14. S. (31:19) Sometimes we say all kinds of light influence the vessel; sometimes we say there's only one light. So what is actually happening? Is the vessel changing so that it feels different lights?
R. The upper light that is abstract from everything is called the Creator. The influence on that upper light on the will to receive that is created is a very different, selective kind of influence. We are speaking about the influence of the light upon us and our response to the lights. How much can we go closer and cling to that light?
15. S. (32:26) If we are in stage two of the 125 degrees upward, will we have a Reshimot from stage 1 and also from stage 3 that we are trying to ascend to when we send it to get to the bottom of the process?
R. We will talk about that later on. What you are talking about is complicated, inaccurate, and we have not discussed it yet.
16. S. (33:10) What is the difference between Taamim and Nekudot?
R. We haven't learned that. Taamim, Nekudot, Tagin, and Otiot, TANTA, are forms of the light that enters and exists in the Kli. Like we have Hochma, Bina, Zeir Anpin, and Malchut, similarly we have TANTA, Taamim, Nekudot, Tagin, and Otiot.
