Denial of National Insurance to Family Members: Following the terrorist attacks in Hadera and Be'er Sheva carried out by Israeli civilian terrorists, a proposal was made to deny benefits to family members of Israeli civilian terrorists, for example, the father of a terrorist who receives a child allowance from the National Insurance Institute. • Back to Life: Amram Kfir, was hospitalized in a very serious condition on the verge of death. His body collapsed and the doctors had already given up and then he posted a farewell post on Facebook. The post received thousands of supportive comments, and his relatives read all the messages to him. This is how he described the experience: "Every word and sentence flowed into me like life-inspiring energy and really forced me to breathe more and more love deep inside. Miraculously, the collapse of the body stopped, and I gradually made my way back to life." • Smart Lenses: Mojo, an American company, has developed revolutionary contact lenses that allow Internet connection directly from the eyes. Through the lenses one can see photos, videos and chats and can also navigate the roads, identify faces, get information about places to travel to—everything an Internet connection provides and even more, all without the use of screens. A person will wear the lenses in the morning and remove them before bed, just like regular contact lenses. • Palestinian Extremism: A new research study on textbooks under the Palestinian Authority has revealed that there is a significant increase in incitement to murder of Jews and antisemitism. For example, in fourth grade, students learn addition and subtraction using martyr numbers. In 10th grade, they learn that a holy war for the liberation of Palestine is the personal duty of every Muslim. • Passover: Were the people of Israel really slaves who fled from Egypt? And after that, did they really wander in the desert for forty years? Why is this story so central all around the world? Why is the Exodus mentioned in our prayers all year long? Why is it still relevant? • Thinking about Widows: It is easy to remember the good things about people who have passed away, but why is it hard for us to look on the good side when they are alive? Why do we value things more when they disappear?
