Part 1 Rabash. Record 645. By Your Actions, We Know You

Hello everyone, we are studying from Rabash articles, part 3. The article: By Your Actions, We Will Know You. Article Number 645. You can ask questions on Arvut and find the study material for Arvut and Siva Tova.

Reading Article: (00:27) By Your Actions, We Will Know You.

It is known that the purpose of the creation of the worlds is to do good to His creations. It is also known that we speak only of what extends from Him, but in Him, Himself, there is no thought or perception. Accordingly, we should understand why we say that the thought of creation is to do good to His creations, since we do not attain His thoughts, as it is written, “My thoughts are not your thoughts.”

However, we should say as in the known rule, “By Your actions, we know You.” It was interpreted that through the actions, we know His thoughts. Since the righteous of the world were rewarded with all the delight and pleasure, by this act they concluded that such was His intention: It is to do good to His creations.

It therefore follows that everything we say is only from the place where there is a connection between the Creator and the created beings, where the act is already apparent in the created beings, as in the verse, “You have made them all with wisdom.” That is, we are speaking only from the perspective of actions, as it is written in the Poem of Unification, “By Your actions, we know You.” However, we have no utterance or a word to speak of the Creator without His created beings, as was said, “There is no thought or perception of Him whatsoever.”

Accordingly, why should we not ask why we say that Creation does not add anything to Him, so why did He create it if it does not add anything, since this question is asking whether the Creator had a need for Creation before He created it? It follows that we want to speak of Him prior to creation, meaning before there was a connection between the Creator and the created beings, and we said above that prior to this connection, “there is no thought or perception whatsoever.”

However, we see that this was His intention. The proof of this is that He gives us abundance when we are ready to receive the King’s gift, and there will not be any flaw in the gift, meaning when the bread of shame is not felt in the gift, namely when man’s intention is only for the sake of the Creator.

At that time, when one receives from the Giver, it is also with the above-mentioned aim, meaning that he wants to receive the King’s gift because he feels that this is His will, and not for the sake of self-benefit, and then he is rewarded with receiving all the delight and pleasure.

And to add clarification, it is as it is written, “The whole earth is full of His glory,” as it is written in The Zohar, “There is no place vacant of Him.” Yet, we do not feel it for our lack of tools of sensation.

We can see that with a radio receiver, which receives all the signals in the world, the receiver does not create the sounds. Rather, the sound exists in the world, but before we had the receiving device, we did not detect the sounds although they did exist in reality.

Likewise, we can understand that “There is no place vacant of Him,” but we need a receiving device. That receiving device is called Dvekut [adhesion] and “equivalence of form,” which is a desire to bestow. When we have this machine, we will immediately feel that there is no place vacant of Him, but rather “The whole earth is full of His glory.”

M. Laitman: (05:44) This is the article. Very beautiful. Short, round. Maybe we will read again.

Moderator: (05:47) Re-reads article.

Question (Women MAK): (11:03) From Your action, we will know You. It turns out that from my small desire, I get to know Him. This is when an action of time and place, it is not the same point, it is development without rushing. And the ideal in every moment, my desire needs to be the same as His desire, and this is dissemination and study and so on. If, with external action we can reach completeness, what is the internal bestowal? That the intention of bestowal will appear, which means that the desire, the friend's desire will fulfill itself.

M. Laitman: Whatever you want to be realized.

Student: And if there are desires, how can we understand through the external actions that the friends are doing, because I am not the Creator and I can't feel it like Him. So, how correctly to come closer to each other? To the real desires that I understood that I can ask fulfillment from the Creator.

M. Laitman: Ask for yourself, ask for others; and slowly all of this will build in you into a decision.

Student: External actions and internal actions of bestowal, should be in synchronization?

M. Laitman: No, that cannot be, if it's an action of bestowal then it will come only as a de facto action of your decision.

Question (Women Italy): (13:40) The Creator is seen first of all in the creation, that is made with wisdom, from non-existence to existence. How can we best prepare our acceptance by the form of the Creator?

M. Laitman: Out of what we see that the Creator wants to give us, against that, we need to prepare ourselves in a desire that will be suitable to what He wants to give us, so that we receive but in order to bestow to Him, that's all.

Question (Women Turkiye 8): (14:48) The article said, by your actions we will know you.

How can we feel these actions, how can we perceive what the Creator wants?

M. Laitman: The actions of the Creator are entirely in order to give, there are no other actions on His part. Therefore, we need to always prepare ourselves in knowing how to receive in order to bring Him, or bestow to Him, contentment.

Question (Women MAK 98): (15:34) It is said in the text that everything we speak is where there is a connection between the creation and the Creator. How can we find this place?

M. Laitman: This is called a connection between the created being and the Creator, or between the Creator and the created being. That's the only thing we can talk about, we cannot just speak about the Creator or just speak about the created being. We are speaking about the connection between them.

Question (Women MAK 104): (16:28) The Creator gave us all the goodness, delights and pleasure, He gave us the group, His group, the Ten, and everything within it is great.

Are we bestowing to the Creator and how can we strengthen this connection?

M. Laitman: You can strengthen this connection only by being together, and if you connect as one man in one heart, all your actions and all your desires will be in order to bestow to the Creator. What is it between you, what is there between you that you can bestow to the Creator? Raise to Him your request.

Question (Women Turkiye 5): (17:23) It is stated in the article that there is no thought of perception in Himself. Is there a world, like the one we perceive in the Creator's perception, if not, what are we struggling for?

M. Laitman: There is such a world and everything that we exert in stays in that world.

Question (Women Moscow 5): (18:06) How did our sages come to the conclusion that from Your actions we will know You? And that will do good to Your creations? How did they know that we need to connect in order to feel it?

M. Laitman: All of that, they received from the Creator; they raised to Him a prayer and asked, what do we need to do in order to be closer to You, in order for You to be happy with us? And He would answer them, try the same thing between yourselves. To connect and to ask from Him, and He will answer you and give you the same.

Question (Women MAK 25): (19:044) What should change in us that we will start to slowly feel that we are changing? And come closer to the equivalence of form with the Creator?

M. Laitman: To be closer, one to the other, as one man with one heart.

Question (Women MAK 19): (19:35) What needs to come in order to come to the place of holiness?

M. Laitman: Gratitude.

Student: Fear of the Rav, is like fear of the Creator?

M. Laitman: No, towards the Rav there is no fear, there is only fear towards the Creator because everything is in His hands.

Question (Women Turkiye 7): (29:11) We cannot know the thoughts of the Creator but it is written that we can know it by His actions. What can we learn from the Creator's actions?

M. Laitman: The way that He bestows upon us, that He is merciful and good natured; and whatever He does to us, that is how we can call Him.

Question (Petah Tikva 22): (20:50) We just read that the person is willing to receive the gifts of the Creator only if this is the Creator's desire. What does it mean to receive, what is this action called receiving?

M. Laitman: That he is willing to express it.

Student: Sorry, I didn't understand.

M. Laitman: That a person is willing to express it.

Student: Express what?

M. Laitman: What the King wants.

Student: So, he needs to, whatever the Creator is giving him?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Question (MAK 24): (21:36) What practical actions do we need to do in order to receive a vessel to receive the gifts of the Creator?

M. Laitman: To connect between you, to be as much as you can, closer to one another. And to raise your desires, your requests, to the Creator so that He will connect you more and will fill you up.

Question (MAK 25): (22:23) It is written in the article that the person cannot attain the thought. Why do we have so many thoughts on the path?

M. Laitman: Specifically, thanks to the thoughts, we are coming closer to Him. But the Creator Himself, we cannot understand in our thoughts.

Student: So, we don't even need to strive for it?

M. Laitman: No, we don't need to strive for that, the thing we need to strive for is to feel His influence on us. And from that to ask to receive, furthermore.

Question (Turkiye 2): (23:07) What is the fuel that one will receive for the first action regarding the study of the Creator?

M. Laitman: He begins to feel that he has a connection with the Creator and that he can come closer to Him, even more.

Question (Women MAK 104): (23:46) I have this feeling that I work hard in order to achieve. But when I achieve it, can we always be ready to receive the Creator's gifts?

M. Laitman: Yes, of course.

Student: How to hold it?

M. Laitman: Think about Him, think about the friends, to link everyone together. From them, to raise MAN to the Creator. And within that MAN, the request, the prayer, that our request will be there. That He will gather us and that we will have the opportunity to receive an answer from Him.

Question (MAK 39): (25:06) That radio that receives all this information with the spiritual reality, how can you come to the place where you think with your heart in order to feel all this information in the heart?

M. Laitman: You need to ask for that, as well.

Student: Only request?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Question (Women Turkiye 5): (25:36) Does the Creator want to draw us to a place where there is no thought of perception?

M. Laitman: Yes, he wants to elevate us to a place where we still don't have any feeling or perception. But when we reach there, He will give us thought and perception.

Question (Hadera 1): (26:29) We always say that we need to feel the opposite, sometimes. But there are two different systems that need to work at the same time and one without the other, it does not work properly. That's the question.

M. Laitman: That will become clearer to you.

Student: I don't understand, if I don't feel or vice versa, that's what I think.

M. Laitman: Yes, but here the intention is towards a different understanding.

Question (Women Kyiv 7): (27:27) In order to be aimed to the Creator, we need to pray for a few hours. So, how to shorten this time in order to be in constant connection with Him and the friends?

M. Laitman: Not necessarily to pray, a lot, the main thing is that you are making an effort to do it out of your heart.

Question (Women Piter): (27:59) Why a person did not get the chance to receive the Creator and the creation?

M. Laitman: In order for him to reach it and then he will have a desire for it. Within these desires, he will be able to attain.

Student: So, we can receive the Creator?

M. Laitman: No, we cannot attain the essence of the Creator, we cannot attain the essence at all, where do we attain the essence? We, in our desires, can only gather, collect, all sorts of perceptions of our impressions. Meaning, our desires under different influences change and the changes in the desires are what we feel.

Student: So, we need to achieve a connection with the Creator?

M. Laitman: Yes, that's enough. Begin with that, start with that.

Question (Turkiye 2): (29:21) How will we be able to capture the frequency of the Creator at the great Congress in September?

M. Laitman: Of course, we will perceive, we will do all sorts of exercises and it will connect us all. And within the Convention, we will also do exercises and it will connect us, so much so that we will feel the common vessel. And this common vessel will feel the Creator, it will feel our state. And in such a manner, we will connect with one another, that's it.

Question (Women Turkiye 8): (30:28) Does the sin that is against the action of creation is that it will eventually stop and come to its end? Or is that what the Creator wants?

M. Laitman: We can do and achieve by our prayers for whatever the Creator will agree to, that's it.

Question (Moscow 1): (31:08) The smallest element that could be in order to bestow, is that the thought?

M. Laitman: The thought is not the smallest example, the thought is a powerful vessel.

For now, I cannot answer that, meanwhile, I cannot say.

Reader: (32:00) This frequency of the Creator that we need to perceive, is it constant or do we need to constantly be in the search for it?

M. Laitman: No, it does not change. We perceive it and then we still need to constantly look for it.

Student: So, once I capture it, then it's steady?

M. Laitman:  No, you're always by your desires and thoughts in the present way, to elevate, to raise to the Creator a prayer.

Student: In essence, who directs the person's heart the best way?

M. Laitman: The Creator, the Creator, Himself, by the person's prayer.

Student: The friends are what, what are the friends for?

M. Laitman: They are helping.

Student: They support the person?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Question (Women Spain): (33:33) Is that frequency that another student was talking about, is that something that the entire Ten receives? Or is it only a private thing, an individual thing?

M. Laitman: It depends on the person's prayer. Does he raise a problem, a question, a request that has to do with the whole group or only for himself?

Question (Women Moscow 8): (34:10) By connecting with each other, we together aim our common desire to be in adhesion with Him. And we help each other to annul the false desires?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Question (Moscow 1): (34:41) Can the created being, out of nostalgia build a connection with the Creator?

M. Laitman: Correct.

Student: So, it turns out that he was constantly being led and he starts to develop trust in the Creator. And from that, he builds more?

M. Laitman: Yes, you should try.

Question (Women MAK 97): (35:13) On the one hand, the Creator created us as receivers and wanted to do good to His creations. And on the other hand, we need to be bestowers and to bring contentment to the Creator. Did the Creator create this, or plan this ,to start off with, that we will bestow to Him? Or is it already an addition on the side of the created beings, that my sons have defeated me?

M. Laitman: No, it was there at the beginning with the Creator's thoughts, and therefore, He created the will to receive, broke it to many parts. That each part is us, and each and every one of us can correct himself. And afterwards we connect and come together to one vessel.

Question (Women MAK 19): (36:29) The Creator said that He created the evil incarnation and gave the Torah as a spice. Meaning that through the Torah we can discern in what direction, in what internal direction, all sorts of internal actions. Can we discern it in the Ten between us or is it an individual personal work?

M. Laitman: In essence, it is an individual work but you can also scrutinize it in the Ten.

Question (Women Turkiye 7): (37:33) Are the thoughts and perceptions that we have at the moment preventing us from connecting? By what action can we come to the state where there is no thought or perception?

M. Laitman: We want, instead of the desires and thoughts that we have now, we will have desires and thoughts only towards the Creator. And by that we will overcome, that's the difference between what we want, now, and what we need to want in order to come to a connection with the Creator.

Question (Hadera 1): (38:31) When a person feels in the heart that he got on to the frequency, can he even examine himself whether it's a correct perception, that it's not an illusion?

M. Laitman: No, he should ask the Creator if he wants to know if it's right or wrong. He should ask the Creator.

Student: After each such feeling, can he discern it, and each time realize that it's not correct? And by that he accumulates experience?

M. Laitman: Yes, it can be.

Student: In order to perceive this frequency of the Creator, does the person need to turn himself into a device of perception, meaning to completely annul his desire?

M. Laitman: No, not yet.

Question (Women PT 33): (39:50) ow do we make room for the Creator in order to perceive the Creator's frequency in thought and action?

M. Laitman: We want only one thing, to feel the Creator. To feel, that's it.

Question (Italy): (40:15) Does living in the feeling of the land is full of His glory, it means to see how the Creator acts between everything that happens, even behind negative, bad things?

M. Laitman: No, this is different research; we need to ask the Creator to reveal to us those actions that it will be clear to us what to ask for. How to connect, how to advance to the goal.

Question (Women Italy): (41:21) When we become closer to the Creator, will we feel an impression of harmony? What kind of prayer are we going to have then?

M. Laitman: It needs to come by itself, by what a person raises from his heart, in words or without words, it develops. And by that he comes to a connection with the Creator and then they understand each other.

Question (Women Moscow 7): (42:23) What is the difference between asking the Creator and looking for answers within the workshop between us?

M. Laitman: It is more important if you ask from the group.

Student: When we speak about a question in the workshop, then what should a person ask himself? He can say that he can talk to the friends about it, it is as if it is taking you out of the connection.

M. Laitman: You are asking with the friends and it is very important.

Question (MAK 24): (43:20) Our mind connects all the different events and builds a complete picture. Should we restrict our thoughts?

M. Laitman: Partially, yes, but we usually do it, it is a process of the study when we limit it to only those desires and thoughts that lead us to the goal, to the connection with the Creator. This is what I advise, firstly.

Question (MAK 24): (45:05) There are spiritual desires but there is no option when the reason for it is a material necessity.

M. Laitman: No, we need a connection with whatever the Creator is giving us.

Student: But it has constantly been spoken about that we need to ask the Creator everything that we want if the spiritual state has been attained. But we cannot continue without the corporeality.

M. Laitman: Did you already receive a spiritual state?

Student: That's how it seems to me, for now.

M. Laitman: Then you don't have anything to ask for.

Question (MAK 39): (45:30) What is the strongest prayer and what action can we do in the Ten in order to strengthen the message of this prayer to the Creator?

M. Laitman: That prayer that comes out of the heart.

Student: Just to open the heart, that's it, that's the only means?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Question (Women PT 39): (45:49) How do I not do damage with my thoughts and prayers? Sometimes I'm scared that I'm causing harm by this.

M. Laitman: You need to check yourself whether your questions belong to the rest of the group.

Question (Women Turkiye 7): (46:24) We are seeing a lot of pain, tears and anger and hatred throughout the world at the moment. How can we synchronize ourselves and the whole world to the frequency of the Creator and to the acts of goodness?

M. Laitman: To be together, to reach love between each other in the women’s group. And within your connection to connect to the Creator. And then to ask Him to give you a feeling that you are with Him in order that you'll be able to turn to Him.

Student: I want to turn to the Creator but most of the time I cannot turn to the Creator. I really want to turn to the Creator from the bottom of my heart and I don't know how I can do that.

M. Laitman: You need just what you're doing, now, to turn to the Creator and to hope that He will answer you.

Question (Kyiv): (48:45) How can we connect to the Creator, out of our connection, in order for us to turn to Him?

M. Laitman: Connect between yourselves and when you feel that you have a mutual thing between you, from this mutual desire elevate to Him. He will feel your mutual desire and He will want to fulfill it.

Student: I can describe to myself what it means to feel the common desire but where is the Creator in this common desire?

M. Laitman: Above Him.

Question (Women Kavkaz 1): (49:59) It's written that wherever there is a connection to the created being, that You have created everyone with wisdom. Do the created beings have an action? Or do they see the actions of the Creator?

M. Laitman: In an action that leads to more connection, more closeness.

Question (Women Kyiv 7): (50:43) Do we need to go and look for where the Creator bestows upon us? Do we need to prepare vessels of bestowal or is it going to be egoistical?

M. Laitman: No need to go anywhere, just to prepare a vessel.

Question (Women MAK 98): (51:00) If everything that we see in this world is an illusion and we haven't attained the Creator, what do we count on and who do we believe?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: The entire Ten is asking from the Creator, every day, that He will correct us in such a manner that we will hear Him correctly. What do we need to add more to this Ten's prayer?

M. Laitman: Also ask Him about that.

Question (Women Hebrew 2): (52:27) What is the difference between the corporeal perception and the spiritual perception in thought, action, and speaking?

M. Laitman: That this is in corporeality and this is in spirituality. I can't say anything more than that.

Reader: (52:56) When another student asked you how we can  perceive the Creator's frequency in the great Convention, whether we'll be able to do so? And you said, of course, we're going to be able to do so and that we need to do exercises. What are these exercises that you think we need to do?

M. Laitman: What type of exercises, to be closer to each other. To talk about how we turn to the Creator, what do we ask from Him? This kind of an example is from group to group. This is beneficial.

Question (Women Piter): (54:19) How can we examine that we're coming to purify our deficiency, to be in a purified deficiency to the Creator?

M. Laitman: In the measure that you enter your feelings into the prayer, it will happen.

Student: What does it mean that the Creator is above our desires?

M. Laitman: That is not important, He fills all the desires, from below, upwards.

Question (Women MAK 97): (54:59) There is such a feeling that the Creator is elevating those who resemble Him in this world. Can we say that all of us need to become as creators, according to the thought of creation?

M. Laitman: No, that's not correct, what we need to do is to reach a state where we understand Him, we feel Him. Just like how we feel between us, how we feel everyone between us.

Question (Kyiv): (55:40) We speak about feeling the common desire. I see in the Ten how the friends are making efforts to build a common prayer. How can I, with my deficiency, strengthen this prayer?

M. Laitman: Connect to them.

Student: How does that happen, what is the mechanical side of it?

M. Laitman: Ask them what are they asking for, you hear that, right? And then you'll see if you can join it or not with priority to find the reason to join the prayer.

Question (Women MAK 56): (56:32) What gives the world and the person, as Rabash describes. That we perceive this frequency and we begin to feel what is already in reality. What does that give us?

M. Laitman: It does not give anything to the Creator, all He wants is to see you.

Student: What does it give to our world?

M. Laitman: To come closer to the Creator.

Question (German): (57:22) Is there a spectrum within the intention?

M. Laitman: Yes, from very small to something completely obsolete.

Student: Is there such a frequency?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: So, we need to come to the conclusion that if the feeling is not complete, then we cannot come to the goal.

M. Laitman: Well, yes, you can partially; but yes, you can.

Student: Is there a difference between a correct intention and a clean intention?

M. Laitman: No.

Student: What is the difference between an intention that is connected with Ein Sof but I do not come to the thought of creation?

M. Laitman: There are many like that, there are many thoughts like that. But after all, we need to try to raise them all above.

Student: I studied a small booklet of intentions that we cannot change the desire but we can only change the intention.

M. Laitman: Yes. Thank you. Until tomorrow.
