We exist within the absolute force of nature—a force that encompasses all and is, in and of itself, eternal, meaning it exists beyond time. Within this all-encompassing force, an empty space was purposefully created so that we might exist in it along with everything we perceive. Through the wisdom of Kabbalah, as we gradually develop new inner qualities, we will begin to perceive—not only our familiar, material world—but also the higher, spiritual world. In doing so, we come to understand the nature of our existence, the influences acting upon us, and the ways by which we can transform ourselves. To the extent that a person aligns with the qualities of the spiritual world, they can exert a positive influence upon it—and, through it, a constructive impact upon our world, which is governed by higher laws. What is the purpose behind the creation of our world? Why does the material world captivate us so powerfully? Is immortality of the physical body possible? Which desires originate from the material realm, and which stem from the spiritual? And ultimately—what is the true nature of the higher world?
