Peace in the World
“Scrutinies and inquiries concerning matters that cause absence….”
1. R. Let's see this subtitle and it will become clear to us why we chose this article.
As Baal HaSulam wrote this article, he wanted to explain what the essence of the article is, which are the scrutinies and enquiries regarding the matters that cause absence of peace, why is there no peace in this world. Usually you think peace means not being at war but peace means completeness of the entire creation being in balance in a good connection and mutual supply. No part of creation is missing, anything. Everyone is in peace, meaning one piece. Wholeness, meaning revealing the Creator to all the created beings. That is what should occur in attaining peace in the world. He sees this article as mandatory to attaining the correction.

2. R. (02:18) This is implied in the book Psalms as he explains in the subtitle. We will read this excerpt and then come back to this subtitle and his meaning will become clear.

3. R. (05:13) This article is very important because we are in a state of the final correction where all of humanity is dependent on each other. They depend on us and we depend on them. This article, “Peace in the World” explains the whole magnitude of creation and why we should relate to ourselves and to everyone else this way.
4. S. (06:00) When I look at the floods and the pandemics I should say it's not bad, it is a natural process or should I say it is bad and requires correction?
R. Obviously it is bad and it needs correction. It is not natural. We see in nature that we are coming out of balance from something normal, in calmness. It all should behave in harmony that the seasons of the year, and so on, come out of the right connection. We understand that a special force enters and causes these disturbances to such an extent that soon we might not be able to exist on the earth.
S. How can I know if a fruit has finished or not finished its process of development completely?
R. We don’t know it. If the Kabbalists didn't reveal the wisdom of Kabbalah to us we would be living just like all humans live now but the Kabbalists explained to us about the reasons. What are the reasons? That we feel that our world in such a way that we cause the imbalance that it has come to.
S. Should I look at natural phenomena as wrong or as part of its development?
R. We cause all phenomena in nature. These phenomena are when we are causing imbalance. It is a testimony of our inner state that we are not in balance with ourselves and the environment. The still, vegetative, animal, especially humans, are not in the right balance, in the right connection. It is clear to us that this is how it is. We don't understand that the lack of balance between humans causes all lower forms of nature to also come out of balance and to come back to us in severe states such as floods, fires, hurricanes, and all kinds of other blows. We obviously don't feel this at all yet. You will see. It is a big problem.
We can start counting all of the blows that we counted in Egypt that we have been through already. We can learn and not reach a state where we come to all of these blows, but that we can come out of all of this. We ascribe these blows to us, that they came from us, that they are coming because we are not organized correctly, that these blows are coming upon the Egypt in us, the will to receive, and the egoistic forms of connection of how we are connected to one another. Until we feel we are in these blows, it is like the exile from some good life in connection with the Creator and connection between us. Until we start discovering that there is something outside of this state that we are in, outside of Egypt, we will want to run away from it. We need to explain to ourselves, and everybody, that the reason for the blows is to show us a way to come out of this state of Egypt that is called Mitzrah, evil.
S. There have always been pandemics and different blows. What is so special about this year?
R. I am speaking about humanity now. We can't, as much as we know, say that such states came together as they are now in some states in the world. There were problems like now: biological like a virus; there was heat and cold; fires and hurricanes; and all kinds of other harmful things. We haven’t really reached the real problems yet. When they all come at once from nature and from all directions, coming to hurt humans specifically, that is something very unique. It just shows that we are in a complete imbalance. We can also say, without the wisdom of Kabbalah, that probably from our actions and our technology, when we burn all kinds of materials, and everything, that we are causing these problems. Eventually all humans are guilty about that. Some see it and understand it.
S. What's special about nature's blows in 2021 compared to 500 years ago?
R. They are coming in a very diverse way from all kinds of angles: fires, floods, and viruses. You will see what will happen with our food this year, will we have anything to eat, and so on. It is a problem and there will be more problems. Nature won't stand us. Suddenly you can see that all of the animals that you live off of, that you use their meat, that all of these animals will suddenly get sick and die, that our crops of corn or wheat won't be right then you won't have rice or bread. You won't have your foundations of food, and so on. That is a result of the blows of nature. It can be something simple and natural. The Creator does everything through nature. ‘Nature’ in Gematria is Elokim, god. I am really afraid of what is coming and I don’t see that humanity is reading this picture correctly, of what is being revealed in the world.
S. How to pass on this message without scaring humanity and sounding like prophets of rage?
R. It's not worth scaring because they won't want to listen. Do it in a rational, scientific way, in a general way as much as possible, but also say that there is a solution in advance. That the highest degree in nature is what connects between the still, vegetative, and animate and speaking, into one system, and that all of these systems can start working in harmony with one another. That is the reason you are even opening your mouth, because you have a solution and you want to explain it, and that you are speaking before we reach a state that could be very dangerous. Suddenly tomorrow we will discover that we don't have anything to eat or drink and who knows what else. They say that within a few years we are going to reach a state where the earth will burn from the heat. What will you do? Well there is a lot to do.
5. S. (16:41) In Hebrew, ‘Peace’ is from the word ‘whole’. Can you explain this more?
R. If we want to reach peace we have to reach the Creator and do everything that we need to do according to the upper laws and then he will bestow upon us in wholeness. ‘Peace’ comes from the word ‘Shalom’ meaning whole and complete. We will feel this as much as we are incorporated in the Creator and have all of the abundance. This is the only way we have to see our salvation.
6. S. (17:53) The article says that everything is created for a purpose. Does it really mean everything good and bad in this world or is he talking about another dimension?
R. No, we are speaking simply about what we are in. Baal HaSulam wanted to explain in this article, what is happening to us on the level of this world, especially us and our generation that is entering a period called ‘the last generation ’and that we are now under a special calculation with the Creator, with the upper force of nature, the general force of nature called ‘nature’. Elokim in Gematria is nature. We have nowhere to run. If we see all kinds of blows, a negative relationship from nature, we have to take this as a negative attitude from the Creator, the upper force, towards us. This is why relating to general nature and the Creator you can actually do this as one and the same. Obviously the Creator is a higher degree above the nature that surrounds us that we are in and incorporated in. This is how we actually have to see it, that if we see some kind of blow, some kind of problem in our world, we need to ascribe it to the Creator.
7. S. (20:17) How can we rise above our feelings of helplessness and failure that humanity is not responding to our message?
R. I am old already and I have seen all kinds of things. I have read a lot about periods in history and what the wisdom of Kabbalah says about them. You are calculating changes from a few weeks ago and now you are in despair. It is not a right attitude towards reality. We need to do what we need to do. Along with that, as much as we get better and rise, we will see the delicate and exalted changes in nature. If you show something to a person off the street he will say, “What you're talking about? Today is like always and nothing is happening”. But if you bring it to an expert, he will say, “No, there are phenomena here, there are problems that we have to research. We can't just do anything”. Let's keep studying and not do like quick summaries about it.
8. S. (22:40) We want to tell people that if they want to live well, they have to connect. What example can we give them when we ourselves have more problems and troubles to deal with?
R. I understand your complaints about the Creator, and His behavior. Why doesn’t he who eats something bad choke on the spot, and whoever thinks something bad about a friend becomes sick? No, reward and punishment in our world is concealed. We have to raise them to the degree of faith as if they are revealed and then keep them. Then we will see that this is the way it exists. I first perform them. Not because it obligates me, but because I hear from the Kabbalists that this is the way it really happens in spirituality. By me doing it, by performing it, I see that this is the way it really is in reality. This is called ‘first in force, then by desire’. That is, to the extent that I obligate myself to keep the spiritual laws in my life, I can start seeing that really this is the way they exist.
9. S. (25:20) This reminds me of the story in the Bible about Sodom and Gomorrah when the Creator is asked about the fifty good men. Is it the same with us now?
R. I'm not relating to the stories in the Torah and I don't understand how you can come to these things with your brain and to start picking in it. Don't bring me an example from the Bible. It is so childish you can't even respond to this. Sodom and Gomorrah? These are spiritual and exalted things, and you want to confuse us with this? Stop thinking about it, Stop reading the Bible. Stop thinking you understand anything in the Bible. Later we will reach it and then we will open it all up. I am sorry that I am exploding in such a way but we can't confuse the others. Don't bring these stories.

R. I am sorry, too.
10. S. (27:11) How can we see things as undeveloped fruit in the 10 when I look at it through my corruptions?
R. The 10 is the fruit. We want it to grow and we are concerned that it will grow more and more. We then receive this fruit, this apple
S. It is not clear if negative qualities in the 10 really exist.
R. This is the way that it seems to us and we need to accept what we see and keep going. Then maybe we can scrutinize it at some point. All of these things are being revealed and coming from the Creator. We will discover its purpose later. Obviously it all comes from Him.
11. S. (28:45) Why do we have the software that breaks the balance?
R. It is on purpose in order for you to reach a feeling of balance, the feeling of the integral nature through everything being shattered. Why is there a shattering? For you to gather the shattered pieces from the shattering and be able to understand the connection of all of creation, all of the parts of it as much as they are in a perfect state with one another, their uniqueness and the completeness of creation. You will be able to attain this only in this way, only through the opposites, one thing from its opposite.
12. S. (30:02) Of what we read there is a sentence that is not clear that the Creator has not completed creation while complete?
R. Of course we are not complete, He shattered creation and created everything as the end of correction and then shattered it in order to let the part of creation which is humans that are in the top of the ego development that specifically we will be able to attain the perfection of creation to reach His degree that is called that He didn't finish the creation.
13. S. (30:56) One of these phenomena that we see lately as you said is there are a lot of disasters in many places in the world but the public doesn't hear about it, if you don't search and want to hear about it you don't. Should we be the ones who summarize the facts to the public to show them the situation, is this our role?
R. We need as much as possible to explain more and more why we are going through suffering and as much as we are not really taking our suffering into consideration, it is said this way in Egypt that I have burdened his heart, the Creator tells Moses go to Pharaoh because I have burdened his heart. So even though our audience has a stony heart we have to go to them and explain everything. We must perform the role of Moses.
S. Is there a connection of what we call from the blows of nature to the blows of?
R. Of course, you wanted to come as blood, frogs, and lice until the blow of the first born?
S. So can we say now we are in a step in humanity that we are going through the blows of the plagues?
R. All of humanity are going through the blows of the plagues of Egypt just in all kinds of styles that we don't recognize as the same process.
14. S. (32:53) How to correctly perceive what Baal HaSulam writes that if I see something bad, it is only to show the individual that he is in the transition phase?
R. Because whoever feels the evil that is the sign that he is in evil, that he himself is in evil through the world that is really good.
S. Is there a way to take what I see and connect it to the discernment of what I see as bad in me?
R. Try and see because it is all of that you are evil and this is why you see that you do, he who faults does it from his own fault.
S. Is this exactly or it doesn't matter?
R. It doesn't matter, you determine there is evil in creation, in reality, so you say it is evil.
15. S. (34:12) I talked to people a few times and I ask them or tell them that you are suffering, there's a crisis and they tell me, no, there are statistics that people die less from war and disease. You can’t prove it.
R. This is happening in all forms of human society, that there are people in all kinds of views that might be opposite until it reaches everyone. Until then all wars and problems are over, it will come to them.
S. How to relate to it, when people say they don’t feel the suffering.
R. For certain here are those who don’t feel it and some even bless the pandemic, because by that they are gaining more than before. We are going through changes and you will see we will have deeper understanding about it.
16. S. (32:50) Trying to understand what Baal HaSulam meant, in the other part of reality when a part seems as harmful, it shows this person is still in transition phase and it is wise to not cast flaw in its I should reach a state where I justify this state?
R. You still need to reach a decision that what you feel is because you are not corrected.
S. You know there were Kabbalists who wrote many books saying they did not want to live in the end of correction.
R. You are not in Gmar Tikkun, what do you have to talk about it?
S. They said they did not want to live in our time and were asked why, they said they did not want to blemish creation.
R. I don't know what I don't understand, you are smart you explain it
S. We have to get blows before the final correction?
R. Wars not only blows.
S. Why?
R. To force people to reach the right force of bestowal.

18. R. (40:36) What is the weakness because we think that they can add something, that the Creator didn't do something and that's when they are adding it and they are correcting the world and the Creator makes certain all of their actions won't succeed.

(43:10) This is how we need to understand that to study about the process and to know where we can incorporate ourselves in this process and supposedly be the Creator’s partners but not according to our brain and the way that we see things in an egoistic way that now we are going to go and change all kinds of forms and qualities of forces in a person and make it into whatever that we want. That the Creator supposedly didn't create man correctly. He did create man correctly according to the correction that man has to go through and by this when man reaches that same degree, the same development like the Creator, imagine for yourselves what we can get to. That is under the condition that we are working gradually according to the thought of creation and by this we reach our correction. In this incarnation or the next it doesn't matter but that is what will happen with each and every one.
20. S. (44:40) It seems on one hand that humanity is getting close because they should be ready to go to the next level on the other hand it seems the Creator is forcing us Bnei Baruch to make the connection with humanity’s development what does the Creator need of us said we will do so this chain will connect and reach completeness that humanity will reach its ripeness?
R. We are learning that from the writings of the Kabbalists, first of all it is the connection between us that we have to take care of the 10 to be concerned about it, because if we don't have a connection in the 10 we will not be able to bestow in anything to the whole system of creation. To the extent that we connect between us so there is already some kind of resemblance between the 10, a small 10 and all of the big reality. Then in the 10 when we perform some actions we can influence all of reality that is first of all. So to reach a stage where I have a vessel, the 10 and through them with the friends that I can work on all of reality through the 10, all together that we are aimed in such a way that we are already performing the correction that we have a foundation from here onward that we can develop.
21. S. (46:36) What is the need for humanity to develop without wisdom, I unlock all these things that bring harm?
R. Nobody is bringing harm, even all of the wars and problems that humanity is doing and engaging, also not damage it is all corrections even though it is corrections on the path of suffering. That is why we shouldn't decide in advance that there is damage, everything is corrections, in a short way or a long way. What I'm asking is to read the excerpts that we study today in the first lesson again, write questions about them and bring me the question so we can go deeper in them because without us chewing on these excerpts and swallowing them good, we will not advance. So let us help ourselves to advance quickly into the entrance to spirituality.
