The weather has gone crazy. Lethal floods are all around the world, tremendous destruction, and thousands are missing in China, India as well as Germany and Belgium, where entire villages were wiped out by floods. Fast fires are raging in the United States, the biggest of which spans over an area of 1,500 square kilometers. One wonders, might earth become an uninhabitable place?
The measure to which the climate between us, our relationships, will become more pluralistic and calm, to that same extent we will calm nature down. But when all of us are on fire and each is competing against his neighbor, then we have what we have. We are in a unified system with Nature.
Although it seems that people are aware of protecting the ecology everything seems to only get worse. What is it that we don't get? We don't have to fight nature and we don't have to correct nature. Each has to correct his own nature. We, human beings, will make a recovery plan for ourselves, making the climate that we experience between us good and pleasant. Our attitude toward ecology does not matter much. Suppose we all decide that we can only drive electric cars but nothing will change for the better. Everything will deteriorate because we don't understand that man is the source of all evil.
What is it about our actions that we have to fix in order to restore ecology? Everything that we do, we do it only to our own benefit and to the detriment of others. Our attitude toward animals, the vegetative and still earth, is a result of our attitude toward others. It is like a pyramid where on the highest level there is the human attitude toward other people. As a result of our detrimental attitude toward each other, the still, vegetative and animate are not taken into consideration, and the result is what we now see.
If we want things to change for the better, then we need to fix our attitude to each other. Simply put, unless we change ourselves, nothing will help. It all depends on us. We have to change just one thing: our attitude toward other people, and for them to also change their attitude toward each other. I am sure that we will be able to keep living on this planet, but how much we suffer in order to change our behavior toward each other is really up to us.
