Recently the celebration of Arabic Language Day took place. Arabic is a language that we think is similar to Hebrew. It has shared words that sound similar and some common grammatical concepts. What is the spiritual root for the proximity between Hebrew and Arabic? Kabbalist Dr. Michael Laitman: They are not close, but they are related and interconnected, like Hebrew and Aramaic, for example. Language can bring people closer together. This action then enables the language to also change to some degree. Understanding the potential of our existence can bring every person closer to one another. This potential lies within each one of us, no matter the language. We must reach a state where we will be “as one man with one heart.” We will talk to each other regarding our development and express our connection, where we will reveal the Creator, the upper force that fills all of our desires.
