Daily Morning Lesson: October 24, 2026

Part 1: Lesson on the topic of "Preparation for convention"

Reader: Hello dear friends, we are five days before the Congress Awakening From Below. We are coming closer to the moment of gathering, the great gathering to which we are preparing. I already got a clip from the friend embracing the friends in Mexico, and now a friend is on the way to Argentina, and friends are sitting with the friends in Madrid, in Spain. And not only friends from Petah Tikva are going out to the world Kli, but all over the world there are tectonic movements ahead of the Congress. Friends are moving, they're starting to assemble in their respective regions, preparing our common hearts.

And now we're going to hear a lesson from Rav from June 2, 2021, on the topic of Preparation for the Congress, with selected excerpts from the sources that you can find in the study material. And Rav speaks about what we need to awaken from below, the connection above the rejections, the concern for the friends, especially the common deficiency, that will awaken the help from the Creator, the awakening from above that we are waiting for. After the lesson we'll continue with the scrutiny in the form of workshops as part of the preparation for the Congress. We'll work on advice to help us prepare for the Congress itself. Let's enter the lesson.

Reader: Hello, we are in a lesson on the topic of Preparation for the Congress. We'll read selected excerpts from the sources. You can find the study material on our website, and when you click on the study material button at the top menu, you can also send your questions through the system, through our website, and selected questions on the material will be answered.

M. Laitman: (02:10) Yes, we have the Congress ahead of us, and it is very important for us to have some new discernments in it. How necessary is the connection between us, for us? And we're going to study this now, all these excerpts that the friends have prepared for us, that only through connection between us do we reach a state where the Upper Light can be revealed. That is, where we can reach the revelation of the Creator- the revelation of the upper system. This is what we are expecting that will happen in the Congress, in the connection between us. It's not that we cannot reach it outside of the Congress, but the framework of the Congress nevertheless means that we connect together, we're more pressed together, we care for each other, we make sure that we're all connected to the same system, and then in such a way, we can finally reach what we want- the purpose of our corrections. Which is until the Creator will be revealed in us and will rejoice from us.

So let's try, let's try to go over all of these excerpts, and let's try to keep all of these verses, and let's not be disappointed if once again it disappears, and once again we feel as though it is new, as it says, "and they shall be as new in your eyes." Each and every person, each and every day one has to start from anew. It seems to him as though everything he did yesterday has disappeared, and today, well, because it is truly new, new discernments, the society seems to him as new, it's all new. This is how we need to accept it each and every day. It should be a new day, new discernments, and new Reshimot- records from the shattering. And accordingly, we need to, as it says, get up in the morning with a new song in your heart. This is how it is for us right now.

So let's see, let's renew once again within us that feeling of what does it mean, a congress? What is the connection, what is the connection we have to have each and every morning. That is each and every day, when we gather in the lessons and outside of the lessons? How does our gathering influence the correction of the general vessel, our general soul, that for the time being is broken. So please, sir.

Reading: (05:36) 1. RABASH, Article No. 1 (1984), "Purpose of Society – 1"

We gather here—to establish a society where each of us follows the spirit of bestowing upon the Creator. And to achieve bestowal upon the Creator, we must begin with bestowal upon man, which is called “love of others.”

And love of others can only be through revoking of one’s self. Thus, on the one hand, each person should feel lowly, and on the other hand, be proud that the Creator has given us the chance to be in a society where each of us has but a single goal: for The Shechina [Divinity] to be among us.

Reader: Again, number one.

Reading: (06:47) 1.

M. Laitman: Well, we have only one question. Let's hear it.

Question (Kyiv 1): (08:04) What does it mean to follow the spirit of bestowal upon the Creator?

M. Laitman: We need to reach an equivalence of form with the Creator. Why? First of all, because this is the purpose of creation, to reach adhesion with the Creator. The Creator wants to cause the created beings a benefit, the greatest and really the only benefit that exists in reality, which is to bring them, the created beings to His degree, to His state. And His state is absolute bestowal. This is why we need to try to start taking a few steps towards that.

He created us, and He broke the connection between us. But in the breaking of the connection between us we have Reshimot- records of the good, correct state- the complete connection. That is, we have in us already records from our whole path, that each one of us and all of us together have to traverse from here until the end of correction. We just have to awaken these records and to try to actualize them. That is the Creator does it, but, according to our deficiency. What all in all we need between us to find is deficiencies for corrections. The Creator performs the corrections. The deficiencies for corrections we can discover them out of lack of connection between us. And here, the Creator is also revealing to us all of the conditions that we don't want to connect on the one hand, on the other hand, if we want to achieve the goal, we have to connect. Only in that is where we stand.

If a person focuses his entire life, the essence of his life, the reason for which he is alive, he needs to be with the family, he needs to be at work, he has to live and take care of his health and all of these things that is true, but what is all of this for?

So that he gradually understands that he has to be connected to everyone, truly in a single desire, and this collective desire which they put together between them is called the Shechina, or the desire in which the upper force- the Creator, will be revealed. And if one tries to build the Shechina, to put together its parts in each and every one of us there is a part then he gets closer to a state where he gets help. He is in an inclination, a disposition from below to gather, to assemble the broken pieces, and this is by connecting with the friends each time more and more and more. They feel that in their Ten that it's not a matter of physical connection but rather internal connection, connection in their desires, in their passions, in their intentions.

And then they shift from egoistic desires to desires of the upper world, of bestowal, of love, of connection. This way they feel accordingly how the upper force is helping them to connect. And to the extent that they want more internal connection. To that extent they feel that the Creator is with them. And that way, gradually, from the deficiencies they reach a connection with the Creator.

Student: How does this condition come? You say that through the connections between us comes this stage of connection with the Creator. How is that?

M. Laitman: This is if we truly try to read what was written by the Kabbalists, and we try each and every day to see these texts as new, and we reach a state where we want to actualize it. We want to actualize it, and it happens. It's simply more and more, a few days, a few years, but eventually it happens.

Question (Tel Aviv 3): (14:04) What can we add to our annulment?

M. Laitman: To annulment? Nothing besides annulment towards the friends.

Student: But what can we add, other than the annulment? What can we add from ourselves?

M. Laitman: There is no more. There is no more annulment towards the friends, towards our teachers, Rabash and Baal HaSulam, towards all of the laws that they are telling us about, upon which stands the wisdom of Kabbalah. That is the system of the upper world, of bestowal and love, emerging out of oneself towards the others. This is what we need, and besides that, nothing.

Question (Be'er Sheva): (15:01) What does it mean for the Shechina to dwell between us? What does it mean to dwell?

M. Laitman: We are parts of the shattering, from the shattering of the Shechina. The Shechina is the field in which the Creator addresses, in which He is revealed. So we need to be connected even though we are all egoists, and we reject each other. We need to find ourselves as connected, and that in the connection between us we reach such a power, such a character of connection that the Creator can be revealed specifically because we have a natural rejection, repulsion from each other, and above it, we have a disposition towards mutual connection with each other.

In the gap between the rejection and the connection the more we try, we want, we ask the Creator to help us to be connected even though we reject each other. We even reach a state where we hate each other. So, in that gap between the present state and the desirable state, this is considered to be the power, the intensity of the connection, all in all. So accordingly, we reach the revelation of the Creator, and all in all we reach some kind of power, intensity of the force of bestowal between us that also rises above the force of reception between us, so that the Creator begins to be revealed. And when He begins to be revealed, then we realize more and more how we should increase that force of mutual bestowal upon the force of mutual rejection, which is also revealed in order to help us to develop the force of mutual bestowal. And that way, we advance.

Student: And how to regulate the rejection, repulsion that arises between us?

M. Laitman: We don't want to. We don't have to awaken the rejection between us. It will come to the extent that we want to get closer between us. About the rejection, the negative, our ego, we don't have to worry about that. The Creator takes care of that. He says, "I created the evil inclination." And from now until the end of correction, He's constantly concerned that we will have ego so that we can work above our rejections, that love will cover all crimes. This is how we reach correction.

Student: So, we only want the vessel to make room for the Shechina, for the friends, and that's it? Do we worry about that?

M. Laitman: Yes, we only need to be concerned with that. That's right.

Question (Florida): (18:26) Lately, we're trying to build the right intention, the right prayer in the Ten. Will it help us?

M. Laitman: Well, of course, only that will help us. Only the correct relations, the correct connections between us will help us to build what we call the Shechina, build such relations between us in which the Creator will be revealed.

Question (ITA 1): (19:16) When we feel connected in the preparation for the Congress right now, how can we act in order to rise to the next degree?

 M. Laitman: This is the question really, how can we act in order to rise to the next degree to the revelation of the Creator to the created being. Which is really the beginning of the ladder of degrees. From that first state of the revelation of the Creator, we will begin to rise higher and higher on all of the letters of the rungs of the ladder until the end of correction. In this ladder there are 125 degrees. There is a lot written about that, but the most important for us is to enter the first degree. What is that first degree?

Each and every degree that I step on, what does it mean that I step on it? As much as my will to receive exists, now it's revealed, and as much as I am in a will to bestow above the will to receive, this is considered that I'm stepping on that degree.

And then a greater will to receive is revealed to me. I also elevate myself above it in my will to bestow. And this is how it is with each and every degree. And the coarseness, the desire in each and every degree helps me to build the ascent upon it so that I use it in order to build precisely my degree of bestowal. My need for bestowal, the character of bestowal, this is how I do it. So we need to see in all of these states where it is difficult for us. We feel that we're being rejected each and every day, each and every morning, a few times a day it becomes revealed to us that we don't want connection, we don't need it. So we have to see that as help, specifically. That each time, when forces that hinder us are revealed, it is actually forces of help.

Question (Turkiye 7): (22:04) A question from my Ten. How can we add extra bestowal to Creator? If we bestow to friends, in what can we add in bestowal to Creator?

M. Laitman: Through bestowal to the friends, we can gather all of our acts of bestowal between us, which is already called a Ten. It's not that each one wants to bestow to the others. That is not a Ten yet. These are just people, individuals.

But when we begin through the mutual bestowal between us to bestow to the Creator, that we want to bestow to the Creator, how do I bestow to the Creator? First of all, I help the friends to turn to Him. I care that they will all be turning to the Creator. They will be free to turn to Him, I care for it. They will turn to the Creator, that they will be concerned about the connection with Him, that they will ask of Him, so that we will do it together as much as possible. That each one will care for the other. We will connect specifically on that, around that. Then it turns out that we all connect as though we are one man, truly, as though we are one man. Because I care for all of these pieces, all these parts that are in the friends. These are my parts.

And all of us care for the connection between us, that it will be directed to the Creator, so that we will raise our deficiency to the Creator. So it turns out that we have reached a state where we have already built a deficiency that incorporates our individual desires. Each one cares for the others. That is, it's not that we are in the Ten, we are joining ten deficiencies together. No, these are not ten deficiencies together.

It's that each one cares for the others to be connected, and that they will come closer to the Creator. This is an entirely different connection than in some ordinary group. That is, the connection between us is a connection in that each one cares that the others will connect and will turn to the Creator. And he supports that, as Rabash writes in his social articles.

In that way, with this mutual concern, we build our common desire and our common deficiency and our common hope, so that it all comes together and it connects until it becomes as one. And at that moment, when we connect as one, then the Creator comes and He is revealed between us. That's it. Then we feel that He is revealed- that connection between us. When each one was concerned about the others, that they will connect and they will turn to the Creator, and that this will be his entire desire. That I care for the friends, that they will connect and they will connect with the Creator, and this way each one cares that the others will connect and will connect with the Creator.  And he supports it, and he does it, and he hurts about it. He is truly sick, ill, sick with this.

This is how we cause the connection of these desires, these deficiencies towards the Creator, that they’re all directed and they reach a single heart, as we call it. And in it, if we reach such a state immediately the Creator is revealed. That's it. And then we feel Him. And He tells us, Where are you? I was waiting for you for such a long time. Finally, you're here. And we’re rewarded with such a welcome, such a reception.

Question (Latin 11): (27:17) My question is, when we are born, are we already egoists and disconnected from the upper force? Or is it our education and the culture of our family and the formal education? Is this what causes our disconnection?

M. Laitman: Again.

Student: When we are born, are we born egoists? Are we already disconnected from the upper force? Or is it a result of the family, the culture that disconnects us from the upper force?

M. Laitman: It is all arranged in such a way that all of the forces of attraction and rejection will help us to build the spiritual vessel. And even though we see that there are many forces that hinder us on the path, what do we need all of that for? If we were, let's say, like in the Garden of Eden and nothing would hinder us, it's all arranged, we don't need any food or sleep or anything, we would all be wide awake with our head vacant and wide open, and all we feel is how much we are ready and we want the revelation of the Creator and we truly yearn for Him.

That would not be good, that would not be good. The Creator created the will to receive, deliberately, this is His only creation. Besides the will to receive, it is just His force that is operating, and this is why we need to realize that everything that awakens in our world, in our sensation it is all to our benefit. So that specifically with all of these disturbances we need them in order to reach the correct, the right corrections. Otherwise, we will be lacking the intensity of the desire, the intensity of the connection so that we have to overcome them, and then to reach contact with the Creator.

Question (PT 10): (30:01) How can the concerns of each and every friend about the advancement of the friends become something common, something one?

M. Laitman: When I care for all of the friends. Not for myself, but rather for all of the friends like a father towards his children. That they will get along, they will connect, they will succeed in discovering the Creator, and they'll be filled by Him through equivalence of form, and this is how it is with each and every one. Then, specifically in that concern, we connect.

Student: But how does it become one thing?

M. Laitman: Because each one is concerned with the others. He comes out of himself, and he discovers that in his concern for the others, he's actually concerned with the essence of the Ten, and this is how we connect. Everyone connects in the center of the Ten.

Student: This one thing is felt by everyone?

M. Laitman: Well, it's on the way, yes. In the transition to the next degree, it will be felt as one.

Question (PT 31): (31:28) How to imagine a state where the Ten is ready for Congress? What do we wish to reach?

M. Laitman: This is what we are talking about. We're talking about that. What does it mean it's ready? Nobody is ready. If he's ready in this moment, and he discovers that he's ready, in the next moment he discovers that he's not ready, that he's still missing something, still missing something. This is how it is until the end of correction. We have to constantly yearn, but you have nothing clear ahead of you that this is what you have to reach, and that's it, no more.

Let's say, I need to reach 10 kilograms of a common deficiency between us, between the friends. There's no such thing. In spirituality, it doesn't work this way. In spirituality, it is always that you are opposite Ein Sof, infinity against the opposite, the abstract upper light. There's no limit, no boundary to bestow, but rather each one of us, as much as he can, should bestow out of himself. And this is how we make the corrections.

Student: Is it correct to introduce the idea that if we succeed in the act of connection, it will help all of humanity in its state, to connect the two?

M. Laitman: Because we are in a single vessel with the whole of humanity, all people, all the souls, then each and every action of ours also influences the whole of humanity.

Question (Tel Aviv 4): (33:28) What does it mean to care that the friends will turn to the Creator?

M. Laitman: To care that they will all be connected, and you just want that, only the connection between them, like a kindergarten teacher caring for the little children. That's it. As it says, "concern in man's heart." This is actually what sustains this connection.

So, this is how each and every one of us has to care that his friends will connect so much so in the mutual bestowal between them, they will already equalize with the Creator, in some form, to some extent. That's the first spiritual degree, mutual bestowal. We need to depict to ourselves more clearly what are the conditions for the ascent for the first spiritual degree. That we are in mutual bestowal to one another, that we are in a disposition, in connection, in mutual help. So much so that the force of bestowal truly, to some extent, dwells among us, or at least the deficiency for that dwells among us.

Then the upper light influences us- bestows to us according to our deficiency, to be interconnected mutually, and it helps us, it performs its action of connecting us. This is called- the Lord will finish for me. The Creator will finish for me. He establishes for us this vessel, and after that He clothes in it- He is revealed. What does it mean He is revealed? We, from the side of the vessel, have reached a state where we discover such a connection of such mutual bestowal, mutual help that this is already in the quality of the Creator, to the smallest extent, but still something.

Student: This is called turning to the Creator?

M. Laitman: No, turning to the Creator, we're turning for help. Here I was already talking about the revelation of the Creator. We don't hear you.

Question (Spain 2): (36:15) What about more internal connections? And what causes these connections in the group?

M. Laitman: There are connections that are more internal or external, all connections are connections. Let's not start sorting them now. That's it. We want such connections, that according to their intensity and their character, we connect as if to a single desire, and in it we discover the Creator, that He is one. That is all. That is, all of the connections between us are in order to discover a single desire. That's it.

Reading: (37:11) 2. RABASH, Article No. 8 (1985), "Make for Yourself a Rav and Buy Yourself a Friend – 2"

Those people agreed to unite into a single group that engages in love of friends is that each of them feels that they have one desire that can unite all their views, so as to receive the strength of love of others. There is a famous maxim by our sages, “As their faces differ, their views differ.” Thus, those who agreed among them to unite into a group understood that there isn’t such a great distance between them in the sense that they recognize the necessity to work in love of others. Therefore, each of them will be able to make concessions in favor of the others, and they can unite around that.

M. Laitman: It’s clear to us that only on the condition that each one diminishes himself and he annuls himself towards the others, by that he prepares himself for spirituality to the extent that he lowers his head. He is willing to help the others, he's willing to truly be as a carpet before them, truly let them step on him so long as they will rise to spirituality. As much as a person is already willing to do that for the others, and this also has to do or relates to external acts of bestowal- external actions of this world.

And also how much he tries in his inner sensation, his inner devotion, accordingly one brings himself closer to the spiritual vessel through annulment. The spiritual vessel is entirely where one shows himself through annulment towards everyone. And this relates to the actions of Tzimtzum, Masach, Ohr Hozer, restriction, screen and reflected light, etc., above the force of reception.

As much as one can rise in bestowal to the friends above his force of reception, this actually is his spiritual effort. According to that, he builds the spiritual vessel. And of course each time we will discover greater disturbances, in order to build above them an even greater inclination towards spirituality. And that way, more and more and more, until he reaches the threshold, the first spiritual condition, that up to here, let's say, if he received a certain sum total called quota of disturbances, and he overcomes them, and he does prefer to be in bestowal above reception, then it is considered that the entrance to the upper world opens up for him.

Question (MAK 6): (41:31) Regarding the center of the Ten, what is that desire that we wish to reveal first? The desire to care for one another, or the desire to reveal the Creator?

M. Laitman: We discover there all of the desires, the egoistic desires of each and every one, desires towards rejection, towards connection, mutual connection between us, all kinds of calculations. We have to sort all of these desires, and to prefer those upon those, according to the ruler, according to the degree of gradation of what is more important, what is less important. And in such a way, we build, actually, this ruler of values, what's more important, what is less important. And this is how it is until the end of correction. We will always have that. This is the matter of the degrees that I always prefer, I should prefer, the force of bestowal to the force of reception. This is how we advance. Okay?

Question (PT 10): (43:01) Is there a difference between a voluntary act of annulment or trying to annul one against the desire?

M. Laitman: It's the same thing, isn't it, Marek?

Student: That's the point, because we say an act of annulment, but I can never annul, I can only try to annul.

M. Laitman: Yes, but you're trying. Of course, you can't do it by yourself. You need the Creator to do it for you. But nevertheless, the work is your work, it's your effort. You never have the power of bestowal, the power to overcome. In our world, it seems to us that we have our own forces, right? But in spirituality, no, in spirituality, we always remain as a point. And upon this point, an egoistic will to receive is revealed on the one hand, on the other hand, an altruistic, as we call it, desire to bestow. And this is how we build ourselves, through the right combination between the will to receive and the will to bestow.

Question (Kyiv 1): (44:25) Inside this annulment of one before a friend, he said we're building a spiritual vessel, and each time we rise above the will to receive that was given to us. This spiritual vessel, does it include egoistic desire or something we build above it?

M. Laitman: The spiritual vessel includes within it the egoistic desire, also the rejection between us. And when I above this force of rejection I ask, I demand, I find the force of connection and bestowal. And with the two of them, as coarseness, restriction, screen, and reflected light, it all enters this one spiritual vessel. I'm specifically standing upon the coarseness, upon my egoistic desire. And out of it, I make the restriction, and I rise to a desire to bestow.

Student: I rise to a desire to bestow as you say, and the revelation of the Creator inside the spiritual vessel. How does that happen?

M. Laitman: We're not talking about that. About how? We're not talking about that. It's like that. If you do it, you'll find out. Let's see, I don't like to engage in fantasies. We are only talking from the side of the vessel. What is it that we have to do so that we will reach the revelation of the Creator? This is all of our work.

Student: I'm simply trying to understand the perspective of the terminology. When we say we do restriction, screen, and reflected light, what is this Creator?

M. Laitman: It's as though you know what inner light is. So you have such fantasies, and I don't want you to be in that. I want you to actually be in the preparation of the vessels, and it's not about the lights. Believe me, this will just confuse you for the time being. Okay, excerpt number three.

Without annulling self-love, it is impossible to achieve Dvekut [adhesion)] with the Creator, meaning equivalence of form.

And since it is against our nature, we need a society that will form a great force so we can work together on annulling the will to receive, called “evil,” as it hinders the achievement of the goal for which man was created.

For this reason, society must consist of individuals who unanimously agree that they must achieve it. Then, all the individuals become one great force that can fight against itself, since everyone is integrated in everyone else. Thus, each person is founded on a great desire to achieve the goal.

To be integrated in one another, each person should annul himself before the others. This is done by each seeing the friends’ merits and not their faults. But one who thinks that he is a little higher than his friends can no longer unite with them.

M. Laitman: (48:36) Meaning, we need to understand that soul devotion towards the connection with the friends is what I need to give. Only to that I need to aim myself, and I need to invest only in that, in the conditions that we have today where we see our friends scattered across computer screens- individual computer screens as we see it now. We have to accept it, that it's given to us to see it. That I see so many groups before me, so many forms. It's all in order to make it easier for us and more correct, so we could aim ourselves towards the connection between us. It's truly like that. Specifically in this way, when I see so many friends, and they're not next to me where I have to annul certain corporeal things between us. Rather, I can aim myself at the inner connection between us more from heart to heart. In this way, I'm closer to the spiritual realization. Read it again, please.

Question (Tel Aviv 2): (52:08) About what you said earlier, that we need to care for the inner connection between us from heart to heart, it sounds like there are no words for it really, but what exactly connects between us? What exactly should we care about?

M. Laitman: What connects between us are the Reshimot from the broken vessel called Adam, Adam HaRishon, the first, meaning the system used to be whole and then it shattered. And we need to return these Reshimot into a single system where all of us are interconnected. That's it.

When this system returns, when those desires go back to being together they're called Shechina. A place, desires, broken desires that are connected, and in the connection between them the Creator is revealed. According to the degree of connection between the broken desires who want to connect above their shattering between them. Then the Creator is revealed according to the intensity of the egoistic desires and the intensity of the connection above their ego and  how they were able to connect. So according to the gap between the shattering and the correction, the upper light is revealed.

It's a law like in physics. The more resistance we have for connection and how much as there is connection above that resistance, then the result of this tension produces the revelation of the Creator. It's like electricity. There's a simple law.

Question (Karmiel): (54:44) How is it manifested that a friend sees himself as higher than the friends, and how can we help him as a Ten?

M. Laitman: Egoistic forms we can identify in each and every one because it's familiar to us from our own forms, our own manifestations. These egoistic forms can be clarified because we know it from within ourselves. How much we hate them, we dislike them. And it's possible that we are not looking at it, but we're looking at how these forms are hindering our connection because they hinder the revelation of the Creator between us in mutual bestowal. Meaning, we have to help one another. Typically, help is in the form of an example without much talk, an example. Each one has to show the other how much he's trying to invest himself in the Ten. It's not always possible, it's highly dependent on a person's nature and the nature of his participation in the society. But nevertheless, he has to show his willingness to be in the society, connected with them.

Question (PT 4): (56:34) We always learn that it doesn't matter if the friend has been here for, let's say, half a year or a year, or maybe it's a friend who's been here for many years, we're always equal in the Ten.

M. Laitman: Because the souls are unequal, that's why it's calculated from above. That people advance, and the souls enter that small group, a group of pioneers, let's say, that need to reach adhesion with the Creator in order to give this huge mass of humanity the point of connection, the point of contact with the Creator. So into this group, new souls enter, and there are those who fall out and those who advance together. This all depends, I would say, on the essence of each one's individual soul.

Student: Yes, but in continuation to this excerpt, it's as if we have to reach some critical mass. So how can we reach this critical mass of a Ten where everyone is ready to go against themselves, if not everyone has reached it in the Ten, let's say? It's not that we have this problem in our Ten, but I'm talking in general with respect to this topic. Let's say you choose the best people, the chosen ones, to be in a Ten…

M. Laitman: You can't choose anything, this is nonsense, it’s nonsense. You can’t choose anyone or anything. We don't know and we shouldn't do it, we should not, it's forbidden. The Creator brings a person to the, good fortune and says, "Take it." God forbid, we try to sort out, these should be our friends and those should not. As long as one does not interfere, does not corrupt and practically derides this, but, it's not like we could sort out who's better and who's not. How can you tell what is the form of advancement of each and every soul? You simply need to give each and every one the possibility to advance according to how Kabbalists write, and that's it.

And if you think that he is the one who interferes then you need to use everything within your power to show him. Also not by yourself, but rather you're in connection with the others and you're talking amongst yourself, how much you can help the friend recuperate, recover, wake up and enter into this mutual work. But just know that the great souls, the highest souls advance very slowly, and it's not like they can right away feel this matter. Rather, it takes years, sometimes decades before a soul begins to understand its place. I saw such cases where a person took 20, 30 something years to understand what we are even talking about.

It's not like these past 30 years have just passed by. No, the Creator is taking care of him, except there are so many desires in him, layers that are heavy. He must sort them out and organize them in stages where he doesn't know what it's talking about, like a little child.

So there are those who have problems, seemingly, and they don't advance fast. And on that it says, Beware of the children of the poor who have nothing, because the Torah will come out of them. Beware of the children of the poor, because the Torah will come out of them. That little one will become a great one. So those who advance quickly, and they move swiftly, and they're so bright, they might not be the most successful in the end. So we shouldn't make any calculations in the Ten. Who is more beneficial or less beneficial according to what our eyes show us. That's how it is.

Student: This is absolutely clear to me. One small final thing. I meant that if there is a Ten, and they should all reach a state where they're going against themselves, how can this happen in a Ten, where each one is in a completely different place still?

M. Laitman: Each one is in a different place, because you're still not connected into one vessel. And even when you do connect each one will have its own place. You will begin to feel how different you are, even more than before. Before, you were like babies. Can you point to the differences between babies? Whereas when they grow up each one's nature, characteristics, inner qualities, begin to become more apparent. They stand out. So it's not as you think. The main thing for us is to continue, not to enter sorting and correction in place of the Creator. Day to day, He will express.

Question (Asia): (01:03:32) Is true annulment a gift from the Creator? And if so, what actions do we need to make to attain this from Him?

M. Laitman: True annulment is truly a spiritual action. And like all other spiritual actions, we need to get help from above since we have nothing spiritual in us, nothing of bestowal, of connection. These things in spirituality belong to the Creator. Only the Creator can give the strength for it, to annul ourselves, to rise above our ego, to connect between us. If we think that we can do it by ourselves, it's all still on the egoistic level, that's how we need to discover and understand and then to demand the forces for the Creator to show us the true state. To give us the forces to perform the correct actions in a connection, and then for us to understand and to know what was the state before the connection and what is it now.

Question (Africa 1): (01:05:16) When we raise the intention of in order to bestow, can we say that the created being has more experience than the Creator, because the Creator is only bestowal and the created being is reception.

M. Laitman: No, the Creator manages both the will to bestow, which is Him, and His will to receive, which He manages, He created. Outside of the Creator, we have nothing that comes out from under His control. There's no such thing. Everything is under the force of the Creator. However, when the Creator created creation, He moved aside, and He gave us a certain area where we can exist. And in this area, we need to find out who we are, what we are, and what do we want. And it's not that the Creator completely left us, he's still controlling us, but in a state where He's seemingly not there. Just like the way we are taking care of little kids. They think we're not next to them, and then they can do whatever they want, and we're looking at them, and we know if they're okay or not, how they behave. It's the same thing here with us.

The Creator seemingly left us. He created this restricted place, restriction, and inside this restriction, we can exist. Our existence is possible only through our ego, meaning He left, so all that's left is the force of reception. By being in this force of reception, we begin to feel gradually, each one according to his own development, how much of the force of bestowal are we lacking. Otherwise, we're in a closed state, a low state without the ability to locate ourselves or understand where we are, how we exist. And consequently, our work is in order to draw the force of the Creator to our dark state.

And this is done when we imagine with our actions that we are already doing the actions of the Creator. That's why "ye shall help his friend," and "love your friend as yourself," and connection in the Ten, and mutual influence as much as possible. And using these forces, we first of all draw a little bit, we bring the Creator closer to us, His influence on us. This is called the reforming light, surrounding light, that is working on us from afar, until we discover that it's indeed happening.

Question (Zafon 2): (01:08:59) What is the inner action between us, which we call equivalence of form?

M. Laitman: Only connection, only connection and love connection. There is no more. We have nothing more to do or to gain, if it's clear to you that there was a complete vessel, and it's shattered, and it's up to us to restore it, so what's there to ask? Only connection between us is the part of the broken vessel, but look for ways, for actions that we can use in order to bring these parts to connection.

Student: What is this, the spiritual glue that is the best in order to do it?

M. Laitman: Concessions, first of all, concessions.

Question (PT 23): (01:10:06) You talked about friends that the Creator is taking care of them, and they're going through different states. Why does it say, Be watchful of the poor? Why not love them, embrace them? What should we be watchful about?

M. Laitman: Be watchful of people of such desires that have a great will to receive. These are called poor, who feel themselves to have nothing. Why? Because specifically with these great desires that work from that the Torah comes out. By that we can acquire the upper light- the revelation of the Creator, understanding His ways, giving Him contentment.

Specifically through the poor, meaning those desires we feel for years, the desires that are in us, and we can't do anything about them. Day in, day out, that's how we are in this life, as poor. So beware of them, because specifically those desires enter the great corrections, and the Creator considers them. He loves them- those poor people.

Student: How can we help such a friend who is going through different states? He goes out, comes back in. How do we take care of him?

M. Laitman: What do you mean? I don't understand. Which friend comes out and comes back?

Student: We have a friend who's going through different states. He came out a little bit. In our eyes, it seemed as though he grew weaker. How do we accept him back? When he wants to come back, how should we behave with him?

M. Laitman: If he doesn't interfere, rather, he's got such swings inside of him, then you take him back. But if he creates all those waves, stirs up all the turmoil in our Ten, in your Ten, meaning, then we need to see whether or not we need it. We shouldn't forgive everything. Maybe he's doing so much damage that we can't add those things to us. We can't overcome them. On the contrary, perhaps.

Student: So how do we decide? What is an impact we cannot accept, but we should?

M. Laitman: You should decide between you. You should tell him that as well. He must connect to what the society is going through and understand what he's steering. Okay?

Question (Kavkaz): (01:13:36) It's not clear to me. To be careful, watchful, does it mean to avoid them?

M. Laitman: I can't say on such things clearly what is the judgment here, and how you should behave, because those things are specific to each and every state. Hence, talk about them. If you have a great problem and you can't rise above it, then we'll talk about it. It's very difficult, because no one can understand, no onlooker can understand what's going on with you as much as you try to tell him. Latin 11, I have to ask.

Question (Latin 11): (01:14:43) Can we recognize the arrival of new Reshimot, records for the correction individually and also in the Ten?

M. Laitman: So, the question? Yes, yes, yes, we can recognize if the state belongs to each one's individual state in the Ten and how it influences.

Reader: Yes, we are in excerpt number four.

Reading: (01:15:24) 4. RABASH, Article No. 14, "The Need for Love of Friends"

There is a special power in the adhesion of friends. Since views and thoughts pass from one to the other through the adhesion between them, each is mingled with the power of the other, and by that each person in the group has the power of the entire society. For this reason, although each person is an individual, he has the power of the entire group.

M. Laitman: (01:16:03) This is something unique that is not present in any other corporeal phenomenon. That by connecting each one is incorporated in the other, and everyone together is incorporated in each one. Each one becomes like Adam HaRishon, each one. And this is the special result of the shattering of the vessel from Adam HaRishon. Why did the Creator shatter it? Since through the shattering when we connect together above our egos then each one of us acquires intensity to connection, the mind, the intellect, all the good phenomena from everyone. Each and every part of the broken vessel becomes like the entire broken vessel, like the entire corrupted vessel.

Meaning each part acquires both the shattering and the vessel and becomes as Adam HaRishon or like Adam HaRishon, each one from the broken vessel. That can explain to us a little bit the necessity for building the vessel, for shattering it, and then for correcting it. Because then each and every individual soul becomes like the entire vessel, like a general soul.

So it turns out that we have an integral level of the entire vessel that the Creator created in a complete way. You can't imagine it, because each one of us receives a desire, a deficiency- the ability to discover the Creator entirely, and he truly attains it. That's what's ahead of us at the end of correction.

Question (CzechSlovak 1): (01:18:32) How to imagine that in the spiritual world is everything connected, and especially how to see the connection of friends in Ten?

M. Laitman: We will discover that we're all connected, and we don't need to do anything toward that, only to remove our ego that hinders our effort to see the complete picture, the complete connection. We don't need anything else other than that just to remove the ego that prevents us from seeing the true form where all of us are already in, connected together, and the shattering is taking place. I would say it in a psychological way. That our ego was created so we'd be able to understand, to discern as light excels from darkness, that we are in a state of connection. I don't think there ever was a broken state, and we had nothing of all that difficulty and problem and everything. It’s all only so we would understand more, feel more, the perfect state we're in.

Question (PT 20): (01:20:27) How important is it to add to the deep and correct intention, physical actions that are visible in the Ten?

M. Laitman: Yeah, it's important to the extent that people and the friends can be impressed by it, and to that extent it's important to us to add it and to awaken the society like that. We're still in such states where physical actions, the visible actions, have a great deal of influence on us, okay?
