Part 2:

Rabash. Article 1, 1984. Purpose of Society - 1

1.R. (00:30) Yes, of course, I don't think that he will take us just it will probably take one year, it will probably take two or three years because he wrote he wrote his article years in 1984 through 1991 let’s hope we will be able to go over to the main thing. That we would have that impression and be able to change your impressions. The purpose of society what is it, we know that the creator has created one man, one Adam and he broke the spiritual entity into pieces and in order for him to be to feel what it's to be separated distance for him to want to be together in order to want to be revealed, in the connection, the essence of the Creator. What does it mean to be the Creator, what does it mean to be together, what is this upper uniting, special and unique force, The work is to understand that the shattering is in our favorite in our benefit, that from the shattering we feel the connection because we are created beings can only reveal a thing from its opposite.

This is how we can reach the end of correction, gradually greater and greater shattering becomes revealed accordingly, we need to work on our connection above the shatterings until we build our entire connection and its final whole and complete form. Therefore, anyone who's greater and his friends his desires are greater that his, the more closer we come to the end of the beginning of creation to the purpose of the end of correction, greater and greater deficiencies are revealed and this is something that we need to understand and we need to nonetheless, advance and connect.

Reading (03:28) “The Purpose of Society - 1

2. R. (04:11) Idol worshippers are Akum, in Hebrew, meaning those who believe in a different forces of nature besides that there are no the besides him believing that there are other forces in nature that even himself can't control rule over reality, decide something and it's not that, it's the Creator, that he's the one who controls and decides everything. If a person thinks that there's some kind of force, another force in the world then he's considered an idolatrer.

Reading (05:00) “The Purpose of Society - 1 - To understand man’s merit, we shall now bring a verse from our sages ….”

3. R. Very special words that he wrote for beginners.

4. S. (11:50) What is the meaning of the world being created?

R. The world was created in a way that man could with a key that he has in his hands called fear then he sets the right attitude to the Creator, he opens a wider that way and it turns out that from the concealment, he comes out to the exalted world where he can feel everything, that's all, through fear. That he establishes himself correctly to the upper one.

5. (12:38) What is the difference between a created being and a man?

R. Created being can be still, animate, vegetative and speaking, man, Adam, means that the someone has decided to resemble the Creator.

S. So why is it that the fear that makes a difference between a created being and Adam, a man.

R. Fear belongs to the Adam because in order to resemble the Creator he needs to have some measure of fear and through that he feels like the Creator and to this end of the fear he starts coming closer to the Creator, that's why it's called called Adam, from the word similar to the Creator.

S. When we get together then we take the first step toward coming out from being a created being to becoming a man.

R. Again.

S. When we start gathering are we taking our first step from being a created being to be an Adam?

R. Yes, one alone cannot be Adam because we need to connect with something, the multitude of is two, and when we start connecting to someone he starts annulling to them and according to that he learns to annul before the Creator, because if he doesn't have a friend that he can annul towards then he doesn't understand what annulling means. He can imagine all kinds of things but it won't be correct only annulment towards the group gives him an example, gives him a direction, how are we supposed to annul towards the Creator and then he reaches such a level of annulment to the creator and to that extend he starts connecting to him.

6. S. (15:15) I want to ask about the learning of Rabash articles, I learn about some stages within the article itself, and even that I have studied this article many times, it is like starting it for the first time. What is it about this article that he wrote it in such a sophisticated way?

R. it is not that he wrote in a clever way, it is that we open new vessels every time, that's why it is written it'll be new in your eyes, meaning in your vessels, that if you advance correctly so it turns out that you open those vessels and it is new to your eyes and not that it is a special writing that seems new every time. All leads to a person who's developing.

S. What does it mean when he says that you are called men?

R. That you are in my goal, in my intention, and that I'm willing to take care of you until you reach adhesion. Until you reach the degree of Adam the one who resembles the Creator because you are ready to change, not like Akum, the idol worshippers, that for them there are supposedly different methods of advancement, supposedly spiritual.

7. S. (17:27) In order to feel pride of the society, can you remind me about that responsibility?

R. No, that's something you need to know already and speak about between you.

8. S. (17:57) Baal HaSulam says that therefore when a person needs to be a receiver he feels some pleasantness because he says shame of eating the bread of shame, what is this bread of shame, how do you get rid of it in the relation with the Creator?

R. That we don’t want to receive for some reason, we want to get a reward for something. I don't want to be the receivers, we want to be the Creator but the Creator has his nature he doesn't know what it means to receive, supposedly he doesn't know. And man doesn't know what it's to bestow but only to receive, so we want to resemble the Creator meaning we have to go through all the desires and organize them in a way that we will be as bestowers, for us to bestow is expressed that we stop receiving in order to receive. We decrease ourselves to the 0 that's called annulment then we can open ourselves in an opposite way. We are willing to receive but for you not for us that is all they're called receiving or to bestow.

S. There was a need to create the world just to get rid of the bread of shame?

R. Yes, yes, yes.

9. S. (19:45) He started writing, if you have something to speak about when you studied but he sat and wrote, why?

R. I didn't want it so much, I ran away from this is but somehow I connect between Rabash and those people I brought from Berg’s School there, at that time, they came to study and supposedly I was responsible for that but I ran from that quickly and if I in a few days I disconnected from the them, that I didn't belong from there and it was good because otherwise I would have ruined myself even more. I was corrupted anyway.

S. What Rabash wrote there, does it keep them somehow and gives in some kind of new point of view because they probably had a desire, a need to change something on what he wrote in this article was like the foundation of the entire composition.

R. In this article that was a simple foundation, the goal is to put together as a society we have gathered here to establish a society, all those who wish to follow the path and the measure of Baal HaSulam. So they need to connect and according to that connection they advance. So, it's simple we build a society as close as it is between all the friends, that's called we are advancing until we become one man in one heart, that's the whole correction. So we go back to the form of Adam HaRishon.

S. What is the annulment that allows one to love a person?

R. That if each one annuls themselves towards the other so we come back to that image of one  Adam. Because each one annuls his ego and each one connects in one desire to bestow to one another and one another. We reach a state and for the quality of the Creator mutual bestowal is revealed in us.

S. How do you make the annulment because the action is clear but what does it mean that one one annuls himself and wants to connect?

R. I knows himself has a friend that he's willing to serve in and do everything there to connect with him, that's one thing, the other, is that we all take up on ourselves this path that Baal HaSulam opens and revealed it was revealed beforehand but from our generation this is how it is. Also Baal HaSulam and the ARI and a lot of Kabbalists before there's nothing new here. The Innovation is the way it is expressed towards his generation that's what and that he's great, that what was known to all the generations of Kabbalists, he gathered, collected it, expressed it in the right way for our generation to us and revealed it to us.

S. What is the role today, are we continuing the foundation?

R. Each one, every group that wants to advance and gather. They don't know how to reach the purpose of life and they are told that the purpose of life is to reach revelation of the Creator and revelation is revealed by equivalence with Creator, equivalence of equivalence of forms in which only as we connect together as one man and that is possible to do in the group, in this society, that each try to do it and that we make such a form from ourselves from the Creator helps.

10. S. (25:37) Where do you start to realize that the new connection with students corrupted you?

R. I didn't want to be the manager, to give them talks, whatever. I didn't want it, I came a few years earlier 2 or 3 before they showed up, maybe more and that's it. I just wanted to keep taking care of myself as they say, why should I, I knew them I went to Bergs Institute, he was already in the states and through Jeremy and Shmuel Cohen, may he rest in peace through them, I got into the Berg Institute and I give a few lessons there, conversations, in order to show them that they are not on the right path.

That they have all kinds of red strings, holy water and all kinds of things that Berg made a modern Chassidus following to him and he understood that that was not right so I started a few exercises with him already, articles from Baal HaSulam. And they understood that is not exactly right and Jeremy came to me in Rehovot and we were speaking and I told them it is a wrong path, it is a mistake. He understood that he was going to leave the Institute and go to Rabash to study I only work on him and maybe Shmuel Cohen, may he rest in peace, Moshe, also rest in peace, that is how they went and dozen’s came certainly, many people came that I didn't even know them, that's it. They started studying.

S. You didn't want to teach them, manage them, I understand but how would that corrupt you question?

R. A person that manages, he gets corrupted, still he feels himself that he's more than others and you have to annul to everyone if he can annul to them even though he manages them that's already a special personality but usually it corrupts.

S. What do we need to learn from these when we turn to a new audience because our entire organization works an explanation and dissemination?

R. We have to guard each other how we run away from honor and the Creator helps by putting everyone in states, criticizes them, it is for the benefit of the person.

11. S. (29:53) Baal HaSulam in this dissemination shouted everywhere of the risks the world could occur, instead what was Rabash, what was his approach to dissemination?

R. He taught the group that I brought to him, thanks to that group I pushed them into the first articles, but afterwards thanks to the group, when he was speaking about them, looking at them he didn't know who those people were.

He was relatively disconnected from this world and here he came some people from Tel Aviv, new people from a new generation, that they weren’t religious, that he didn't really know the material. Then he started seeing what people existed in the world, through them and from that he wrote the articles that will be closer to us, otherwise he will speak in a way that he used to speaking in a more difficult way. And that helped us, what he wrote through the years from 84 to 91, 7 years, he was writing articles. It is a great asset for us that remained after him.

12. S. (31:55) It says that everyone needs to be felt lowly in one hand and to be proud on the other because the Creator gave us the opportunity of the society, where each of us has one goal for the Creator to dwell among us, what is that point of lowliness, is that it needs to hold on to it is like Rabash writes in such articles?

R. That a person needs to feel that he is less than everyone else in society. He needs to try to reach a stage where he is the smallest in the society.

S. How is supposed to feel low to the friends towards the front and on the other hand to feel proud, it contradicts each other?

R. There are many contradicting qualities that we need to integrate, this means to be proud in the ways of the Creator, you need to support yourself in the ways of the Creator and you need to feel proud.

13. S. (33:30) The text tells us it is necessary to know what is fear of the Creator and through it man connects to the Creator. Is this fear something that one can lose or something personal?

R. Fear as a personal thing when a person reaches a stage that he's afraid, that he might not be able to be like the Creator.

14. S. (34:14) Each of us has one goal for Divinity to dwell among us, we have no goal outside of us?

R. In our eyes, there should be only one thing, that we are connected in such a connection and bestowal and love that there according to the equivalence of form the Divinity can clothe or the Creator will be built.

S. So what makes the goal is our details that each details he wants to be one….?

R. Repeat, please.

S. The question is, each individual wants the goal, for the Shechina to dwell among us, this is what determines the goal or does the goal determines the individuals and make them?

R. The goals organizes the individuals and according to the goal we determine those individuals that we need to reassemble.

15. S. (35:55) Why are not the rest of Rabash’s students helping you?

R. I am not in contact with them, I don't even know where they are exactly. Rabash’s students, I have no connection with thim, after he died and also before he died we didn't really have a connection between us. Each one was doing their own thing. I was all next to Rabash and all the times was devoted to be connected with him and serve him. The more I could, I used to drive him everywhere, I used to go and sleep with him in all kinds of places, we will go to the beach everyday, all those things and they didn't have any other business to take care of, that I was in the lessons. There was the evening lesson, that morning lesson and an evening lesson, every day from 5 to 7 p.m. and that's what was my duty except for that, I had a job. That's why I didn't have any possibility to be in contact with the friends. There was a small group that Rabash put together from 6 people and we were as a group, a very small group, very special and that was called a group but my whole business was next to Rabash.

16. S. (38:16) How did he advise you to implement it, in the article of what you need to do in a certain case or according to wish you need to act in such a specific case and read what?

R. He wrote an article per week and he gave it to me to copy. I went to a place where they have copy machines. We used to copy them and then I used to give them out between everyone, it was about 40 copies they used to give out to 40 people, that's it. We used to read the article throughout the whole week and then by Thursday, the next week, he will write the next article and I used to keep it and give it out to all the friends you know the groups there were three, all in all, about 40 people.

S. What I meant was he wrote about how to practically treat each other, practical guide line instructions, before he wrote one way or another Kabbalists knew how to treat each other and so in that he wrote this article for us. What are we supposed to do with them? Are we supposed to derive the practical points from the articles for the group or is it general articles to study?

R. We need to organize relationships between us the way they are written in those articles. I have nothing else to add, after I hear what you're asking that you are here for years already.

S. no translation

R. You need to gather to read these articles until they will be clear to all of you and you try to keep them.

17. S. (41:29) Are we demanded each in the ten to perform the same action?

R. When we read the articles we need to implement them that same week, meaning it demands of us to be in the same states and relationships like we discover the articles.

18. S. (42:10) How about the process of annulment, Rabash’s articles during the concept, something lowly to something exalted because only by annulment can one advance. It is a change in one's perception of reality in relation to these actions called annulment.

R. Yes.

S. The question is: how do you see annulment? What is annulment for you?

R. According to what I saw in the articles the Rabash is demanding, he says the Creator demands, that we annul the will to receive through the will to bestow of the Creator, that's it. Everything comes from that, then annulment becomes on the other side. By annulling the will to receive to some extent that you turn it to in order to bestow.
