1. Rav’s Introduction: (00:20) This is basically our main work, to strengthen ourselves in There Is None Else Besides Him, so that we are all targeted towards connection between us, connection between us and the Creator, and this is our work until we will be merited to feel in the connection between us and the Creator, the goal of creation, the goal of life and we will advance this way, so let’s start.
Reading Excerpt #11. (01:00) “All the many contradictions to His uniqueness,..” Twice.
2. S. (04:50) The question is about item 11: when we exert to observe Torah and Mitzvot with all our soul and might, as we're commanded- to bestow contentment on our Maker - all those forces of separation do not affect us into subtracting any of the love of the Creator and every contradiction we have overcome becomes a gate for attainment of His wisdom. There's some positive thing here when a person can always observe this positive advancement with all of the states we go through?
R. I don't think that you can keep positive movement toward unity consistently so much and justify the Creator in everything that is happening but still we have to try. We have to keep trying and those forces that divide us and divide us and the Creator and we still try to work against them, we don't want for them to divide us, all the friends within themselves and all of us together and the Creator, and that out of all those efforts we reach a state where eventually the Creator corrects our attitude towards Him and our relationships between us and reveal how connected we are between us and how connected we are to Him, with Him and it's truly a result of all of our work.
S. In this article it is written about people who have put in effort, who are these people?
R. The ones who have put in the effort to all the forces that disconnect, they have either overcome them on their own or with the help of the Creator and by this have reached unity between us, between them and the Creator and they have been honored with revelation of the Creator between them.
3. S. (08:28) All the sacrifices, everything that happened to the nation of Israel with the whole world, all of these sacrifices, everything that happened to us is it called a sacrifice in order to get closer to the Creator?
R. Yes, yes, only like this. This is why it is called a sacrifice, Corban, from the word meaning something close, becoming closer.
4. S. (09:26) The feeling of a turn from bitter to sweet, from dark to light is this knowledge of the faith?
R. It's knowledge of sanctity when we are merited of it and we turn darkness into light.
S. It is written here when a person makes an effort in observing Torah and Mitzvot, a person after all the contradictions, all the contradictions connect into attainment. What's the difference between attainment and knowledge?
R. Knowledge is something that you can attain with your mind and attainment is something that you can attain only with the help of the Creator.
S. In the feeling, there is an inner feeling that everything works out and this is not connected to the mind?
R. It's not connected to the mind when we talk about attainment, we talk about what you feel inside of your internal Kli which is called a soul, Neshama and then you attain it, that there is an upper Force and it affects you and you attain its affection on you; it’s affecting you.
5. S. (11:14) When I'm in a state of contradiction I raise a prayer. How can I know that I'm truly doing this from fear or is this my true request?
R. For now you cannot really know that but gradually you will be able to differentiate among all the forces that affect you, if it comes from fear you will be able to tell, if it comes from hatred or jealousy, envy, all kinds of things, and then it will be clear to you that everything comes from Above, out of love but from you it depends on how it's merited, on what kind of feeling you will be able to feel.
6. S. (12:24) The ten is like a separate cell that can reveal the Creator?
R. Yes.
S. And can turn bitter into sweet?
R. Yes.
S. The whole world is made up of tens, the whole social construction, the families and so on?
R. Everything is scrutinized from the ten, yes.
S. What's the simplest sequence of actions, to turn from single ones into something general which turns things from bitter to sweet?
R. You have to connect in the ten, to be in one desire, in one sensation and try to attain the Creator between us, when we connect as one and then the Creator reveals Himself in the connection between us.
S. Each one comes with his desire, with his perception, with his feeling, there's an understanding that we need unity. What is the order of actions to let this happen?
R. Unite more and more and more.
S. What does it mean to unite, we can't do it, what do we need to do in order to unite?
R. Try to become closer to each other to such an extent so you will eventually become “as one man in one heart.”
S. How can I get closer to someone who is opposite to me?
R. Try and when you feel that you are not able to, you will have to pray and request for the Creator to do this unity for you, to perform this unity for you.
S. And if we do this, all of us, if we ask, what's the next action?
R. Go on until you can see that you are connected to a certain extent and the Creator is revealed between you.
S. What do we feel when the Creator is revealed? How do we know we have achieved this?
R. When you feel each other to such an extent that you feel yourself as one man.
S. What do we do next?
R. Then next you will start revealing the Creator that fills you, all of you.
S. Then what do we do next?
R. You connect to Him or more.
7. S. (15:45) Is it right to say that attainment of the Creator and the Creator is something different?
R. No.
S. How does attainment from a person, what does it look like?
R. Through his desire to connect with the friends and in the connection between them to reach a state where he is revealing the Creator.
8. S. (16:21) Please help us understand, there are levels inanimate, vegetative, animate and speaking, on which level can we get to this degree of “love your neighbor as yourself,” if we're on the animal level? Those who are killing and raping today, what do we do and how do we learn to love if everything is the Creator?
R. We have to accept everything that is going on is coming from Above, from the Creator and do our best to above it all, above everything that we see, that we perceive, that we feel, imagine, that all of these actions are performed by Him and He does them on purpose so that we will rise even higher and we relate to each other with love and from the stage of love between us reach the stage of love of the Creator. It's not easy and it's impossible to comprehend just like that but when you start, when you engage in this work and you start becoming meticulous in it, eventually the whole idea of the Creator is getting revealed.
S. We have to love all the levels?
R. You have to love all the levels.
9. S. (18:00) What does it mean that the force of unity brings all the world to the scale of merit? How does it happen in our ten?
R. You have to reach this by uniting between yourself and then the power of unity that you will reach within you, it will reveal the Creator for you, it will reveal the upper World and you will see how everything is organized in reality.
10. S. (18:38) If the forces of contradiction help us materialize in this life, how can we analyze everything despite having different feelings in the ten?
R. Everyone, everyone of you wants to reach the unity with the friends to such an extent that we stop feeling any difference between us and then inside of this unity that we feel between us this is where we will feel the upper Force, meaning the Creator and that is it.
S. Every external judgment?
R. Yes, the ten has to rise above all the obstacles for unity.
11. S. (20:00) Do these inversions happen individually within the ten, or the ten as a whole, or both?
R. Usually, it's both but even if it's inside of one person you can already start working with that.
12. S. (20:37) How can we ever come to the point where we can accept the atrocities in the world and still love the perpetrator, the act, the situation, the whole thing. It's just beyond me that we could ever come to that, it's so out of my world view to be able to love such hate and such abominations. How do we do that?
R. We ask the Creator to make us closer and then above this world, above the hatred, above the lies and everything, and He helps us by shining from the upper Force, this upper Force allows us to be united, be loving and then it turns out that we don't have any obstacles in unity between us on every level, and then we feel unity, love, to all the living, to everything and this is called correction.
13. S. (22:28) What is contradiction?
R. Contradiction is resistance inside of your mind or inside of your feeling.
S. Between our thoughts and our desires, between me and the friends and the Creator?
R. We overcome through asking the Creator so that He would rise us above all those contradictions, so that He doesn't raise them, so He would help us rise above them.
S. What is this Segula inside of the contradictions?
R. If we eventually overcome the contradictions we reveal the Creator and attain Him with more force on a higher level.
14. S. (23:49) Overcoming obstacles with Torah and Mitzvot and the Creator gives us this second part of above reason?
R. Yes, in contradictions, in us rising above them in attainment through them of higher things; it all comes from Above.
S. Our attainment and overcoming contradictions only when we address them from our unity?
R. Of course.
15. S. (24:40) We talk with friends and it seems like the women aren't doing enough. If the women pushed the world and the men, would this replace the wars?
R. It is possible that it could help both men and women, for women to pressure men but it does not, it does not make them free from working between themselves, they have to unite between themselves too and reach unity between themselves, and reach connection with the Creator and apart from that, from their unity to address men and make them to also unite.
16. S. (25:45) What is the beginning of the felt form of unity in the ten, is this a feeling that we have the same desires?
R. One desire and one goal, yes.
17. S. (26:07) You answered to the friend before that uniting is feeling the friend like I feel myself but I am an egoist, how do I feel, is it felt egotistically?
R. [no translation]
S. You answered the friend that unity is feeling the friend like myself. I'm an egotistical creature. How can I feel the other in my uncorrected vessels? Should I be feeling it egotistical?
R. For now, yes, to the extent that the Creator allows you to feel the friends.
18. S. (27:27) What are efforts? Where do they start gratitude to the Creator balancing the mind and the heart accepted as a gift from the Creator? How do we solve this problem?
R. This is precisely what we need for the beginning of the action.
S. And then what?
R. And then ask.
19. S. (28:00) A question about dissemination: This morning you said where you started with what touches the heart. This has religious connotations, the message should be different. We took our neighbors in our reinforced room and we spoke about the love that moves us forward to unity between us and to the extent in which we are distanced from the goal we suffer. First they were shocked when we started discussing the state they were brought closer to this concept, like one ten, we spoke about the Creator as the force of love. Is this correct to use this in dissemination into the wide circles?
R. Absolutely.
20. S. (29:17) Why does the Creator show inner contradictions outside, as if it's a problem in others and not me? What does this give us in spirituality?
R. So that it would be clearer for you, so that you would understand what exactly your issue is. He is showing you this on the connection with the others.
S. If I start to change what I see, if I change what I see outside to love, if I see the ten differently in this quality of love, then I see the world in a different way, the picture of the world changes?
R. Yes and your world view is partially changing.
S. How does this change?
R. Partially because there are levels, different degrees.
21. S. (30:30) In our ten we feel literally spiritual war. We have four friends that are now on a break for different reasons. How to reach success in these states? How to turn bitter into sweet, when we can’t learn and pray together?
R. They are really against it so much?
S. Some think that they are holding the ten back so they distance themselves, and others are suffering because of what is happening in the world and that's why they have distanced themselves.
R. Well, that's all simple here. The world is suffering because it's torn apart, it's shattered into pieces and it is disconnected and if we collect ourselves and we become closer to each other then the world will start receiving from Above, from the Creator forces that are more good and we will feel this as a change towards good in all instances, in all situations in our life. Therefore, we have to despite what is going on in the world and what it seems to us, we have to unite, we have to connect, so let's engage into exercises and try to succeed and become closer and uniting.
S. Continuing the importance in the ten between the friends so that we can perform these exercises?
R. Yes, that's an important period. How?
S. How to renew this?
R. How well to gather your friends and discuss what's the problem, you can do that.
22. S. (33:20) So the first phase when we have to unite is there a moment where we all have to be in the same desire and when does this unification come?
R. Yes.
S. The second phase is to unite in the Creator. What is it?
R. How can I say this, the best way, it means to reveal the Creator in the connections between us.
S. The work itself, when I come to the ten and a friend says something and I have some contradiction in me, so from this point should I raise to the Creator and come to the fact that everything comes from Him?
R. Yes, try to unite specifically this point with the others.
23. S. (34:28) I heard now you spoke about the Hisaron of the women in relation to the men, how is this Hisaron, how is it manifested? I never heard that they have to address us?
R. You don't need to hear anything but if you will hear, you will understand that women have the same look, the same Hisaron as us, just a little different on the outside but women also want to reach the goal of the creation.
S. They shouldn't address us, I heard their voices that say we have to address the men and they don’t address us?
R. They don't have to, they have enough power to also work between themselves and reach the Creator like Adam and Eve.
24. S. (35:55) We are really tired because we're not connected between us and the Creator. Can we remove our gloves to unite or do we have to hold on to patience?
R. You have to try and unite without anyone putting anyone else down and what do you mean by saying “without gloves?” I don't think that there is necessity in this, you can be more open but in a more mutual and good way.
S. How do we feel the real contact, each one is in his cage?
R. Try to accomplish this between yourselves. These things are not easy, they are not simple. It is for a reason that we affect each other; do your best.
S. We are sitting in our ten and we try to get closer to a more precise prayer and we, it's as if the words come from a different place, should we seek this inner spirit that each one has?
R. Be persistent so that you will reach internal spirit.
S. Each one is in his prayer, another one is in his prayer?
R. It doesn't matter, it doesn't matter.
25. S. (38:12) Please tell us where is the correction? In the sources we read about correction in the soul but we shouldn't fight the ego. What should we do so that there are no murderers and so on?
R. We have to specifically fight the ego so that it doesn't stay in the way of us being closer to each other in such a way that each of us will feel the hearts of the others.
S. Should we correct the ego, should we work on it?
R. It will be the correction of the ego, exactly.
26. S. (39:05) In Israel there are the depths of evil that started on Saturday and we don't know how to react to this. Where is the correction in this? What do we need to do differently in relation to what we've been doing all the time?
R. I don't know what you are doing all the time but I know that “love will cover all crimes” and we have to connect between us and then force that will reveal itself between us, it will correct the whole world.
S. But the Creator here performed an action that is very different, incredible, very hard. What does He expect from us?
R. He expects us to react seriously to His actions so that we will come to a realization that it is enough of games and we'll have to treat our lives seriously and treat it as a spiritual opportunity for correction.
S. How do we help Bnei Baruch and the nation of Israel to treat the way the Creator treats us in the right way?
R. Through us explaining to everyone what is called correction.
S. What does it mean, true correction?
R. It is us connecting from heart to heart.
S. Why is this correction when it happens through unity?
R. If you want to unite in your hearts, then the Creator is inside of those hearts and is revealing
Himself as one force by everyone.
S. How does this correct the evil?
R. Because we attracted the force of good.
S. What does our success depend on more: on unity between us or the ability to explain this to the nation?
R. Unity between us.
S. The friends are saying there's a big desire to advance to unite but there are obstacles. There is a burdening, how do we not lose time?
R. Hold each other, hold each other. Each one has to hold on to the other one.
S. Several friends here from Zoom. This comes from my Hisaron and others, to open a non-stop Zoom and read our prayers and Psalms. We feel that this will help, will this help the world if we do this as a group?
R. Yes, exactly this helps. Prayer in a society is very powerful.
27. S. (42:48) The state of There's None Else Besides Him, this is a state of full trust, calmness?
R. Let's say.
S. If we say, shout, they're getting in the way of accepting help from the Creator in this state, does this mean that our next step is to let go of this prayer and I say that I did everything that I could and now it's Your move? What is the next step of the prayer?
R. Try.
28. S. (43:59) How can we hear the voice of sanctity when the ego is shouting from fear, shaking in fear and it is pushing everything away, how to hear the voice of the upper One?
R. Only through the friends, through unity there is nothing else, no other way. It's a huge prayer really for the Creator to be revealed to a single person, usually He is revealed in the connection between people.
29. S. (45:05) Please tell us when we are looking for unity and there is a clear enemy it's easy to unite, when this danger disappears we fall apart. How do we unite without someone else?
R. There is no way, only in time you will gradually obtain wisdom and strength.
S. All in all, this is the wrong state in unity?
R. Yes, this stage is inevitable.
30. S. (45:50) You said we have to hold each other inside the group and this external part, what is this external part of the ten, is this a prayer?
R. Shell of a ten, I don't remember using a term like this but for us to feel together, connection between us in one single Kli; a desire.
S. The question is: We can't hold on to it by force and understand that you're always in these two forces, to run away or to attach yourself. How to add this force of the ability to connect so that the friend would do this?
R. Talk about it and converse about it between yourselves.
31. S. (47:00) The whole group went through many states and we’re developing and we feel it, that each one feels the benefit from our unity and we come to a ten meeting with the group and prepare to annul ourselves because it's beneficial for each one. At the same time, this evil inclination grows when I feel pleasure from unity. I see myself in such bursts of hatred that have reasons, for example, that these terrible things that are happening now and what's happening in Ukraine, these atrocities, this gives our ego, come to this peak of hatred; to hate. I'm happy when the rockets explode on the other side when my enemies are killed. I see myself in pleasure that others are dying, the enemies are dying, that I want this to happen. Are these signs that we have really become not just coarse, that we are not willing to unite but the evil is revealed in these states?
R. Of course.
S. Are these the states we need to work on because these are between us, it's clear, we feel the benefit at the time, when I feel the pleasure that the enemies are dying, uniting with you and what's happening in Ukraine we're connecting to this evil, naturally?
R. You are right, let's proceed, we will proceed and study and apply and as much as possible between us the conditions of Kabbalah.
32. S. (49:19) In our ten for eight years we have been doing a Ramchal exercise, when each one has her own minutes for prayer. Can we distribute this around the whole world Kli, so that each one should have three minutes or something? Can we do something like this?
R. Try and then report back to us. Try, if women will raise their common prayer it will be a gigantic force, ginormous.
33. S. (50:10) Do we attain the Creator by our force or the force of the Creator? Which force is primary and secondary and in Bnei Baruch we are expecting some help from the Creator?
R. It is the original Force, the first Force and we have to exactly through it reveal the attitude of the Creator towards us and reveal our relationships and this is how we will reach the solution.
34. S. (51:16) We don't have enough people, in the ten, it's very hard..?
R. Please agree between yourselves and you connect with the other ten or maybe multiple tens and in this way you will have strength for the prayer.
S. It seems to me it has to be organized from Above?
R. Don't wait for anything from Above, don't wait, stop, stop speaking and listen. Nothing from Above, do not expect anything from Above but you have to unite with the others. I'm teaching you and not how you think, do not be smart.
35. S. (52:40) Holding each other so we can do this but we can't place everyone in this. Can we hold on to some friends and then to others and how do we place the whole ten?
R. Yes, it is possible, it is possible, it's not entirely right but it is still advancement.
36. S. (53:23) If I understand correctly, what's happening in the material world is the difference between the unity that should be at this point and the lights of unity?
R. Yes, that's right, yes.
S. If there is a specific difficult, physical state it means that we missed out on it and then the Creator fills up this phase with the blows, right?
R. Yes, the blows themself, they help us to correct.
S. How can we know where we missed because the friends made the efforts in unity after the Congress, made a lot of effort after the Congress in unity? Is there a possibility to know, where did we miss? Where should we be practical?
R. Check yourselves for sure through prayer, execute some scrutiny and ask for the Creator to reply to you where you went wrong or what you did wrong, where you were not all right.
S. Is there an opportunity to address the Creator before the blows and ask Him and receive some..?
R. Yes.
S. To advance by the way of the Torah and not by the way of the suffering?
R. Very good, request from Him, you have somebody to send your request to, just organize your prayer in the right way and you will receive reply and instructions.
S. What does it mean to organize a prayer correctly?
R. Ask. We have to do this and this, we want to reach that and that, we want to unite between us more and more, just try and write this prayer together and read it out loud all together as one and then you will see how much it helps you.
S. Should this be on the level of the ten?
R. Yes, on the level of the ten.
37. S. (56:20) I heard you say that we shouldn't ask for the Creator to send us suffering and the suffering causes an inner cry in us but I wanted to ask: Can we ask the Creator not to receive more suffering so that the nation of Israel can come to Him, like Achishena and perform our work, maybe you can direct us, how can we prevent this suffering? I would like to hear how we can really prevent suffering for everyone?
R. We have to pray only for one thing; for the Creator to correct us, to make us closer so that we would understand, thanks to His care, in what way we can advance towards the solution, towards Him and towards the goal of life.
38. S. (57:50) For the parts of the heart of Adam HaRishon, how can we think that they are enemies because they are the same heart?
R. The Creator does this on purpose, to give us, to provide us with a push and to push us to want to advance towards unity between us all the way until the full correction and the full unity between us.
39. S. (59:00) At the end of today's morning lesson we spoke about how to talk to people about these horrible states, the war in Israel and the Ukraine. We always see this problem. We say that we're different, we're opposite, how this happened in both countries? Is this correct to focus in our dissemination on the usefulness of being different, is it correct to use these differences? People hear this in some way to always explain in detail that the differences in nature can bring to the right type of unity of people. Can this be our main message now?
R. Yes, exactly this way we are created differently, so that in the right connection between us we can reach the right connection, the right unity and this way we correct ourselves and will advance and then exactly, specifically between us the Creator will be revealed.
