Rosh Hashanah - Selected Excerpts from the Sources. #5

1. Rav’s Introduction: (00:25) Just as we started in yesterday's lesson speaking about Rosh Hashanah, the beginning of the year and the month of Elul. We will continue to do it in the following lessons. What is Elul? It is interpreted as an acronym, 'I am to my beloved and my beloved is to me'. Meaning a person comes to a state where he discovers that to the extent that he is in this tendency towards the Creator this bestowal towards the Creator he discovers that the Creator is also aimed at him. In this way we begin to build mutual connection to the degree that I am to my beloved. Hence all of our work is to aim our hearts through the friends of course, otherwise we will not be aimed correctly and do it towards the center of the group. There we aim it at this concept called 'The Creator'. This great addition that we have our connection together so let's go and try to locate and detect the state. How do we connect between us and from between us we build this concept of the Creator, and we aim at him attracted to him until we begin to feel that as we come to him even before that He's already aimed at us and He's approaching us, my beloved to me.

Excerpt #5 (02:28) Shamati, Article No. 42, “What Is the Acronym Elul in the Work?”

2. R. (04:05) That's really the sign, the symbol I would say is the essence of Rosh Hashanah, the beginning of the year. Annulling our desire before all the friends and together towards the Creator and by that we feel like we enter into mutual contact with him. From the beginning of this mutual contact at this point of connection from there we begin to develop, in our connection between us as it takes place, as it grows, as it expands, and this is the process of the year.

Reading Excerpt 5 (04:50) again

3. S. (06:31) This action repeats itself again and again, and we really learned several times that when the light shines on you it illuminates a new ego so that's the expansion that you talked about and explained?

R. Yes.

4. S. (06:57) What is to annul your will before his will?

R. It's when the Creator wants to give, and you wish to receive. You have to annul your will to receive so you'll be able to be an equivalence of form with him and then you'll be able to receive whatever He wants to give you in order to bestow. By that you skip over the prohibition to receive in order to receive and in this way you connect to the Creator, and you receive an order to bestow, this is the meaning of approaching the Creator.

S. This can only be done through love of friends?

R. If you have another means please let's hear it, but this is the problem and all of creation. On the one hand you must receive and on the other hand you must be in equivalence of form in order to connect to the one from whom you are receiving. That's it, there's nothing else here. We're talking about a few laws of nature, a few laws of creation and we have to combine and keep and then you'll be connected to the source of creation and to the reception of the light. It's all extremely practical and logical, nothing here has to do with mysticism or belief but only the law of nature.

5. S. (09:09) It says here that the Creator annuls His will meaning this Tzimtzum that was because of the disparity of form, what does that mean that this restriction is there? because of the disparity of form, can you explain that?

R. Yes, there was a restriction because there is a law that you cannot be connected with one another. These two qualities if they are in opposition, even if they are not in opposition but there is a difference between them, that's why there's a restriction between them a blockage. They cannot be in contact whereas by changing the intention from an order to receive in the created being to in order to bestow. Then already this intention severs the connection between them, not the connection, it severs the border, the boundary between them and allows them to be in connection. Meaning it lets them be connected, in contact to the extent that it works above the will to receive that's in the created being. That's how we begin to see that the created being is not forever disconnected from the Creator. Rather if he will change his intention, his desire, he is unable to change his desire remains in order to receive but with intention to receive the way he turns it, and it changes then the created  being can be closer to or farther away from the Creator. He can even be in adhesion with the Creator. All depends on the degree how he wants to use his will to receive that is opposite from the Creator in order to bestow to the Creator. To that extent he becomes closer to and connected and adhered to the Creator.

6. S. (11:57)  Despite the fact that it sounds like restriction upon the will to receive nevertheless some active actions are demanded of us?

R. It's not just the restriction it's an active action and also the connection between us is an active act and our intention to the Creator is an active action. It's possible that it's taking place in us, but we're constantly connected with the Creator and that's why we have to receive from Him, the power. That is where our main prayer lies. In our request for receiving the forces that arrange in such a way that will be close to and even connected with the Creator.

7. S. (13:00) Is the annulment of the will to receive actually the annulment of the importance of the world to receive?

R. Again?

S. Is the annulment of the will to receive, is that that we were supposed to annul the will to receive, is that actually to annul the importance of the will to receive?

R. No, we don't annul the will to receive. We don't annul the importance of the will to receive. This is what the Creator had created and we need to protect it and care about it. We only work on the intention. Am I using it for my own sake or for the Creators and the will to receive itself remains untouched. That's why I perform a restriction on the will to receive but I don't touch it by itself. Then I wish to use the will to receive in order to bestow to the Creator. Bestow in order to bestow or receive an order to bestow. All my actions are in the will to receive. The fact that we say in words that we annul, we erase, we restrict the will to receive. It's a sort of shorthand. We have to understand that we're talking about such actions where specifically they can be done by the will to receive.

S. In truth, I meant about the intention kind of, the importance, which is for myself, the less importance I have for myself is that actually that same annulment that we mean in the work?

R. We have to start and see. This is something that develops in a person and once it does you will get it.

8. S. (15:12) What is the love of the Creator and where is it felt so I can annul myself towards it?

R. What is love of the Creator? It is expressed when I prefer to keep the desire of the Creator above my own desire, over it. That's it.

S. Where do I feel the fact that I prefer to sustain the will of the Creator over mine?

R. The will of the Creator is that you receive on the commission that it will be in order to bestow that you will do it for Him. You need to come to that and actions of restriction, screen and reflected light, and then working on connection with the group. Until you make it one vessel. They will aim at the one Creator and they'll be able to do an action of bestowal towards Him. Meaning not to receive anything even when the Creator gives and shines in all the intensity of His power and all His light. Then when you refuse to receive this light, you enter the lights of Hassidim, and you don't need anything for Himself. Later on after you've done all these actions you arrive at receiving in order to bestow. You begin to receive from Him, and you are able to be in reception but in order to bestow to the Creator. That's where you will perform opposite actions. On the one hand you'll receive pleasure but on the other hand you're doing it only in order to bestow to Him, only for Him, this is the height of the relationship between the created being and the Creator.

S. All those actions are preparations before you feel the love of the Creator, what are without intention or what direction do we do them?

R. We perform all the actions through the friends to the Creator, from the person and whatever he feels and wants back to the Creator, through the friends that's the direction of all the actions.

9. S. (18:26) What does it mean that in this common will in the Ten we hold ourselves back or restrict ourselves in order to not receive in order to receive for ourselves but only for it to be His sake, how is that expressed in the ten?

R. Each one thinks that he's not receiving anything for himself in the state that he's in but rather he wants to do it only for the sake of the friends, and threw them to the Creator, everything happens outside of Him but by that he can begins to feel that this is the greatest property that he can ever have.

S. What does a person feel here? Pleasure from connection with the friends or with the Creator?

R. Yes, you have to come closer to it and you have to begin to make it tangible and then you'll see what we're talking about here. There are not that many words here because those are inner internal things and emotional things.

10. S. (20:00) How do I actually fill the vessels of the friends?

R. Together with the friends you can annul your will to receive an order to be connected with them. You accept  what you intend for them and what they intend for you and with all these inclinations you turn toward the Creator. Then you begin to feel how much you are in this tendency towards the Creator and by that you discover as reflected light, you reveal the influence of the Creator towards you. We begin to have the construction of the Partzuf, the Partzuf is the common connection between the Ten in the Creator.

S. The effort is to feel the friends and then turn to the Creator.

R. Yes, yes.

Excerpt 6 (21:20)  “It is written I am my beloved’s...” Twice

Excerpt 7 (23:38) “Now is the month of Elul...” Twice

11. S. (27:51) He's talking about persistence and he's also speaking about Shiva, how should we talk about in the Ten when now is the month? What should we talk about and what would benefit us talking about these things in the ten?

R. Only by increasing the connection between us in the Ten, we will be able to understand and then to carry out the instructions of what the Rabash and Baal HaSulam write. There's no other choice, only this way as we come closer to them will understand all the things we were not able to previously keep and all the conditions that we must keep and we'll see where we are. How to advance towards realizing what he's writing about only in this way, after all we're talking about. Only in this way.

After all we are talking about the connection between us, to such an extent that we will be able to receive from the Creator everything that he wants to give. We have nothing else to do in life. This is the purpose of creation, this is the process that creation has to undergo in order to come closer and assemble more and more, until we reach the vessel of Adam HaRishon before the shattering but with this big will to receive it is revealed that we come to 620 times greater than before. This is the goal in this is the purpose in these 620 times greater will discover that we're in connection between us and we'll discover the essence of Creation.

The secret of creation, everything, try to put together all the universe, the infinite number of stars back into the point where the big bang started. Try to do it, it’s hard to imagine it. We need to reach a state where internally we combine all of us together until the degree of one man, Adam HaRishon, we're going back to that state and then we understand what the Creator did and what for how and why.

12. S. (31:08) As much as I understood Rabash in his letter, his writing that's not only the annulment of my own persistence like I feel now but also my annulment towards my spiritual existence, and my yearning and spiritual work is for the sake of the Creator it's supposed to be is that really called faith?

R. Yes, everything he said is correct.

13. S. (32:02) In the text we read it's written that they want to bring all the good that they have as a gift to the Creator. What does that mean?

R. They need to receive all the light that comes out from the Creator, the upper light that fills all of creation and to receive it in their vessels in order to bestow. By that they will be an adhesion although one gives and the other receives but according to the intentions to bestow to one another they will be in at adhesion. In this way the created being is coming back to being an adhesion with the Creator.

S. To bring all the good to the Creator means to create those voids, those vessels that he will be able to fill? It's not our personal vessels but it's what we've built together is this right?

R. Right.

14. S. (33:27) We depict the quality of the bestowal?

R. Yes.

15. S. (33:50) The only reason a person once to be a landlord is that if someone just wants to use it, let's say devote it to dissemination is that the correct way?

R. Also correct.

16. S. (34:25) Can you reveal the essence of the word Teshuva repentance?

R. Repentance, Teshuva is when I try to do what the Creator wants of me, at least to some extent another part and another part, more and more to realize and actualize with the Creator wants from me. This is the meaning of repentance.

17. S. (35:15) What does it mean to annul to the Creator in the most practical manner?

R. To annul to the Creator in the most practical way? It means that I annul completely towards the friends.

S. Is there some kind of examination that I can see in check because it seems like I'm getting a certain accumulation of lack of annulment? Is there something I can really figure out that I am annulling?

R. It's likely that you haven't annulled yourself before and that's how you feel.

S. How do I check that I'm annulling?

R. By seeing how much you’re annulling towards the friends.

S. What is annulment towards friends?

S. It's when I annul all of my desires towards all of their desires. This is one side of the restriction and later I used all of my desires and all of my abilities in order to fulfill their desires. This is already an action.

18. S. (36:42) These words the way of Torah is way of annulment is the reality and necessary of landlords is a persistence versus can we say that this  condition for sustaining the word he way is based on the rules of Arvut or the world Kli or the whole world of the light towards the Creator? In this we change all of reality and the observance of reality is a necessary condition  for sustaining the world and that we combine into one system of correction?

R. We'll have to think about your question.

19. S. (37:44) The question relates to the discernment that the friend just said, one is those that are students of Torah and the other is the landlords, for whom are these discernments made? The results are endless, the same results according to what Rabash writes, that he has to succeed if it's on the way of Torah or if he succeeds because he wants it for himself but who are these two discernments for?

R. In each and every one for each and every one there is a part, a part of landlords and a part of the son of Torah.

S. How do we work with this in the ten I need to discern between friends that are wanting to be landlords, or they want to be students of Torah?

R. You have to relate to everyone as if they are all righteous and you are going to serve them as much as possible. They are in your place like the Creator and you are doing all the actions towards them and you want to connect to them, it's possible to connect with them, to them you connect to them and you can approach them. You can talk to them, you can cleave to them and sometimes to move apart from them to hate them, to love them, you can do all of that with your friends. Whereas with a Creator you cannot do that so until you close the connection with them in a deeper truer manner then you will also feel that you are approaching the Creator as well.

20. S. (39:44) What is actually to raise a sacrifice to the Creator?

R. It means to sacrifice a part of your will to receive and by that to approach the Creator because sacrifice Korban comes from the word near Karov.

21. S. (40:17) He's talking about two different kinds of people. What is to these kinds of people that he's talking about here and what does he mean? Why does he mention this?

R. I don't know, there's an option here, a possibility of annulling himself and approaching the Creator and to be cleave to him as much as possible. This is really the opportunity that he's given to a person and then he discovers that my beloved is me, that the Creator has prepared everything for him, has done everything, and then it turns out that everything works itself out from above.

S. It says here he also wants to bring a sacrifice to the Creator and this is what he engages to obtain a possession because it's the Creator's will. What are these two opposite things here? It's truly the opposite.

R. He's ready to accept everything that the Creator gives him in order to give contentment to the Creator.

22. S. (41:45) We know everything comes from above and then there is also the persistence of reality so let's say you have a child and you totally lost connection with a child and you try and you've tried for years and there is no connection and it doesn't happen, so it says what you can do, do and then does annulling mean this situation is for the greater good and you just stop there?

R. No, nothing is sufficient for you to always go to bigger and bigger degrees.

Excerpt 8 (43:05) “ The meaning of Rosh Hashanah is a new…” Twice

23. S. (44:49) What is the transgression in our path?

R. The transgression is disregarding the opportunity to come closer to the Creator, which takes place through equivalence of form with Him by acquiring the force of bestowal.

24. S. (45:26) We got a bit confused because in the previous excerpt they taught us to develop this self-annulment and in the second one he already speaks of Kabbalah in order to grow the annulment, it's not clear how we have to behave here?

R. No one is confusing you. You cannot just learn and philosophize. You have a will to receive. You need to annul it, to put a restriction  upon it so you don't use it whatsoever and against that you will have more and more of the will to receive that's growing and growing and you prefer more restriction and more restriction until you come to a state in which you perform of restriction on the whole world to receive that's been revealed. Then you have work and the will to receive is now under the restriction, how can you convert it to even more to an order to bestow. That's already when you're doing an opposite action ,where you're willing to receive with your will to receive. Not that you're not receiving in it but you're willing to receive in it with only the intention in order to bestow. Meaning the intention is changed from not to receive to yes receive but in order to bestow. Why can you do that? Because you restricted your will to receive from receiving for itself and now you can open it and begin to receive even in order to bestow, not for yourself. That's how we work and that's how we talked about this for a long time.

25. S. (47:38) What does it mean to sentence himself and the whole world to the scale of merit or the opposite?

R. By that he's deciding or changing or turning himself and the whole world to the scale of merit meaning the moment we begin to connect and then we begin to receive an order to bestow, then already that light which was standing before the will to receive and the will to receive rejected it even though it really wanted it but it rejects it, so now the will to receive stands in not receiving the pleasure and sees that it did receive enough strength to receive this pleasure in order to bestow and then it inverts it, it flips, it does an inversion in its work, willing to receive the filling because his desire to receive is restricted in receiving for himself and therefore in this he understands and feels that he's giving pleasure to the Giver.

S. But the discernment of himself and the whole world. What does it mean that he sentences himself and the whole world? It's seemingly two things.

R. That is correct because besides talking about himself also the whole world, what is the whole world, the whole world is the first nine, it's the upper nine that are before person and what he feels it's also his vessel, so he sentences himself and the whole world to a scale of merit because by restricting himself and attributing himself to the whole world, that he’s devoted to the whole world then by that he comes to a state in which all his actions are towards the whole world. The whole world is his vessel.

S. The action he described is a gradual action of moving from the will to receive to the will to bestow. The moment he falls from it the whole world is sentenced to a scale of fault. But the action itself is a gradual action where you can fall from because if you fall, what do I mean by you can’t, it's more complicated too complex to reach bestowal than to fall from it, so why does he say it's seemingly equal?

R. Because according to the actions they’re equal. Either I'm connected to everyone and bestowing to them or I'm disconnecting from everyone and I have no connection with them.

S. But the connection is one that you need to preserve all the time. The moment you don't you decided toward the scale of fault.

R. The will to receive is not canceled, it does not get purified, it stands and we have to constantly stand guard on it.

S. So where is the determination towards one scale or another? It seems like one specific point.

R. I don't understand, maybe you’re talking about the point of restriction?

S. We’ll scrutinize it.

R. I'm sure we'll get there

26. S. (51:50) The states where I for my beloved and my beloved for me. Can we reach it also to this state of Rosh Hashanah or do we have to wait until the end of correction?

R. Of course every stage along the way, every day you can have a state like Rosh Hashanah it completely has nothing to do with the day on the calendar.

27. S. (52:46) What does it mean that I have a landlord and a student of Torah inside of me?

R. If a person develops he begins to discover that he has in him an internal concept as a student of Torah one who learns the ways of light, Torah is light, the ways of light the ways of bestowal and then he becomes one who learns from the ways of bestowal, therefore it's called a student of Torah, one who studies the ways of the light, how to bestow..

28. S. (53:58) How to check that I am truly aimed at receiving in order to bestow and not for my own sake?

R. Check this towards the friends in relation to the friends. If in your ten you are connected to them and are willing to work in a way that all that you'll have your willing to give to them.

29. S. (54:39) We constantly speak about the attitude toward the friends and we have this gift to come to physical lessons. So there’s a situation where part of the ten comes and another part doesn’t come and we don't know how to decide, at least for me, how to behave. Should the entire ten be in one place or is this split a good thing? What is better for the spiritual development, what is a ten, I have all these questions. I don't understand anything now.

R. The ten is called the people that are trying to be in a spiritual connection between them in order to bring this connection to the form to the fashion of which the Creator can be revealed in, in those connections between them meaning these connections need to be in order to bestow to one another and with a common inclination a common mutual connection between them, now when half sit in one place and half in another place or they're sitting all together in all kinds of places each in his own, it's not so important. The main thing is where their hearts are, where their minds are, their tendencies, where they want to be. That’s important.

S. Naturally when people are sitting with other people in the lesson and their inclination their tendencies towards these other people, they also said it when we were in the center, our inclination is towards the ones who are around us we don't think of the ten, it's a natural. Not those who are in the virtual space everyone is around me; I think of them. I sit in the center I will think about people in the center not about my ten.

R. Also that's not important, that’s actually good too because each and everyone in Bnei Baruch is my friend and can truly be in my ten without any examination here that's it. That's how we connect. That's why it doesn't matter if you're sitting here together with strangers as if strangers outside of your ten and the people in your ten prefer to sit at home instead of sitting with you, well that's how we build ourselves slowly, slowly that way. I have no solution for that until we understand whether it's worthwhile or not. I also understand those who are sitting at home, I understand those who are sitting at home as well, who knows what's going on with this pandemic again this virus is starting to increase and who knows if we will once more have to shut down our center and go back home and sit in our houses I don't know, therefore what we have for the time being is what we have as long as we are for the time being connected in a virtual connection or how should we say physical, I don't think that it is so different in its essence. We will soon enter in such a world that everything will be virtual, that you won't even know what a physical person is.

30. S. (58:51) We learned the concept of Rosh Hashanah the beginning of the year. Is there also an end to the year and what does that mean?

R. Sof, the end, is already the end of correction. We only talk about the beginning of the year and the end of correction.

31. S. (59:28) If he's half at fault and half at merit, does that depend on our efforts to annul any state in the ascents and descents?

R. Yes.

32. S. (59:49) I don't always feel that I have a responsibility for something in the ten. How from that I can feel that I'm sentencing the world in this way or that?

R. Also in not participating you’re sentencing the world to here or to there, because here the will to receive, from all the wills to receive, and like it or not you're participating in everything.

33. S. (01:00:29) This half sinful is clear but what does it mean that I’m half have righteous?

R. Well if you’re owing half then you’re [translation missing]

S. [Translation missing] I’m either righteous or sinful. But in what am I righteous? Righteous in what way?

R. The fact that you have the force of the screen and be able to perform in order to bestow, that’s to be merited it comes from the words [translation missing] pure, refined, that you'll be able to receive in your will to receive restriction and a screen and to work in order to bestow above your desire. Why can this be? Because you will receive importance to connect to the friends and to identify with the Creator more than you have the will to receive.

S. It's not so clear what you answered. It's this friction that exists in several tens this whole business of physical and virtual. What’s the correct form? Is it my personal decision or is it what my heart desires?

R. There's a matter of the general ten here which is the whole group, there's the matter of the defined tens which were actually written down by names, there's the matter of incidental connection, those are like this and those are like that and those are like this, that they connected in the morning for discussion and to participate in mutual bestowal, there are many things and all together what comes out of it if you ask me I don't know, I just know that all the forms of connection between them is for the good it's for the better that's it and the main thing we don't need to differentiate there it’s like this with me and there it’s like that with someone else, and I need to cancel this and to cancel him, no we need to always think that connection with everyone all of Bnei Baruch no matter where they are with every member every friend of Bnei Baruch wherever he is I am willing to be connected with him.

S. If all the formats are good whether I come physically or I remain at home virtually or the ten is a hybrid half are here half are at home, what do we follow? If the forms are correct what is the preferred form is there a hierarchy?

R. It’s preferable that I go with my ten but if we have also the possibility to connect with other tens from time to time then I need to accept it as something that is also beneficial, why not? This also helps me disconnect from the external way that I see the face and his expression and all that and I see things from the more internal way of people.

S. So those who gather physically can also sit in random tens and mix?

R. Yes, yes, again we're learning these things and I don't have clear answers that it's written like this or like that and you also don't see it yet, that it's written in the clear way, maybe we'll find in these things but for the time being it seems to me like every connection in every case if I can obtain with some ten no matter where I am is for the good.

S. This period of entering the last generation, we’re taking all these new steps of building tens as you say I don’t; see it written. I imagine you know but  where do we get the answers from and as we take those steps we keep bumping into new things. Where do we find the new answers, only from experience?

R. Answers you need to get from our work, how to answer the questions we learn from the writings of Rabash and Baal HaSulam and what receive from it that’s something that we need to see along the way. We try ourselves to decipher it and also we can ask, you can ask, raise questions, search, and pray but you'll be surprised buy you will reach the answers.

34. S. (01:05:27) What is a new beginning when a person begins to build a new structure?

R. The new beginning is that he now decides that he's building himself in the society and advances with them and he's devoted to them heart and soul and wants to organize the ten so that it will become a true vessel of the soul, to what we call the Holy Temple.

35. S. (01:06:08) In our ten for the past few years we've built a significant connection in the ten and you taught us and we feel that more than ten, we can't really feel so by incorporating here we see that the friends that we can't see during the lesson, that are in the virtual space, we feel a deterioration of the connection with those friends, yesterday and also other friends told me that when they see the friends during the meetings during the day they feel like there's a foreign person here compared to what it was before. So it's true we have these new connections but how to correctly relate to the processing of our nuclear ten?

R. I understand. Really what we are in now is a new state, it wasn't like this before. The previous Kabbalists had up to ten just like Rabbi Shimon had and less than that with Ramchal and less with the Ari. So we are really in a big quantity, it's the last generation like Baal HaSulam writes. We are already in the last generation how will we arrange ourselves? I don't know. I think that the original ten needs to nevertheless be and you feel it yourself and with that we need to rise above our core ten and see all of ourselves as one ten, all together, ten not nine and not eleven and we need to, in such a way, come to one complete structure and to advance this way to seeing this but it seems to me that there's no contradiction here between what I feel, all the world as one ten and the fact that I feel my ten, that is close to me, as my original ten, as one. The fact that I can differentiate each and every part of humanity and feel, this is the ten, eventually that's what it will be. The problem is just that now we are somewhere in between. Let's see how this happens and talk about it, learn from it, and let the others when they come they'll already have a much clearer method, much more orderly, that's what I think. All together we are with you now building the system of correction from the shattering to the end of correction to the extent in which we will reach where we reach and that's our goal.

36. S. (01:09:48) Every time when we start anew from Genesis there is a feeling that it is part of eternity, is this true?

R. Yes.

S. Why are we engaged in anything besides gratitude and prayer?

R. I don't know, maybe others haven't reached that yet. How do you decide if we got there?

S. Gratitude for the Creator, for the Rav, the friends, and prayer for the friends, I think we came to it.

R. This is how things are going to become better.

Excerpt #9: (01:11:05) “The beginning of the year means the beginning of ...” Twice.

37. R. (01:13:43)) Yes here we see that everything depends on a person. No one needs to complain that he has a small intellect or a small heart or something else, that he didn't get the right education, upbringing, there's nothing to complain to anyone about anything. Everything begins from a person coming to the wisdom of Kabbalah and from here he begins and here he has the opening of the path and for him it's open especially with what he has and then later he discovers that what he had before he came to the wisdom of Kabbalah was also planned on purpose with his characteristics, with his parents and everything that he received: childhood, education, his youth, it was all planned in advance that now he would develop according to his desire according to what he himself wants to define. So how will we use the creation of Adam? that's the question

38. S. (01:15:15) About the heart half sinful and half righteous: he says that the Creator craves the prayer of the righteous. Righteous, you taught us, is one who justifies the Creator. I wanted to ask you, is that the praise to the Creator?

R. Arranging the praise means that you're taking the forces of the friends and relying on them since you have no forces to do it yourself. Everything he receives from the Creator, he's willing to receive with joy. In a state that he sees only good in this because look if I'm with the friends and I rely on them, depend on them and I even myself feel that I'm in a not good state, personally but I depend on them and add my state, I have to pass it to them in return it to the good and then it works out that a person who is constantly connected to the society always feels himself that he's in good, in the state of Ein Sof.

S. There's an article by the Rabash about how the Creator is waiting for the prayer of the righteous.

39. S. (01:17:27) I'm here at a new beginning and Rosh Hashanah then I'm going to find motivation for all this work here by thinking about the situation in the end, is that right?

R. No, you can't scrutinize everything until the end of the process right now, but you can begin the process. That's why it's called Rosh Hashanah, the beginning of the year and not the end of the year so good luck.

40. S. (01:18:01) What does it mean that he'll be able to receive his part in the next world?

R. Sometimes you receive it in the current degree and sometimes you receive it in the next degree, that's called the next world. Each and every degree that's how it's called, Olam, a world.

41. S. (01:18:38) It's written that there's a condition that before he determines to the good or to the bad it says a person should always see himself as if he partially owes and partially earns. So what is that in our work?

R. Meaning that he's in between, that everything’s open before him and now he can determine things for better or for worse.

S. How do you reach that state and why does it stay “as if”?

R. As if because this is how he has to see himself.

S. Just to think it?

R. Yes, accept it that way, everything is in relation to man.

42. S. (01:19:34) Why is the wisdom of Kabbalah, why does it add to a person beyond what he was born with, meaning gives them revelation of the Creator to the created  being in this world, why?

R. Because this is what it is intended for, to elevate a person above the animate level that he was born on to the degree of being like the Creator, the degree of Adam, man.

43.S. (01:20:18) Is annulment a request for a prayer from man to correct himself from reception to bestowal?

R. No annulment is still not enough, aside from annulment that a person annuls his ego and as if doesn't want to participate in anything because he discovers that he is entirely egoistic then he has nothing to add, he has no way to connect, and therefore what supposed to be is beyond the annulment, beyond the restriction, he already needs to connect with the friends and participate with them and the building of the Masach and Ohr Hozer.

44. S. (01:21:11) How do we know what the Creator exactly wants from us or to understand it?

R. Like Kabbalists write we see that they say that we need to connect in tens and that in these tens we need to participate with one another all of us together until a network of connections takes place between us in the ten  and then in that, from that network of connections, return to the Creator and want to feel him in that net, it's like we catch fish we want to catch is in our net, the net that we created between us, is the whale, this is our work.

45. S. (01:22:19) If I feel that I don't want to connect to the Creator I don't want to unite with the friends, so who’s guilty me or the Creator?

R. Of course the Creator is to blame to begin with that He has created the world that He broke it that He made it in the will to receive an order to receive with all different problems, torments, disappointments, certainly until we reach the degree of becoming righteous when we justify creation, we always blame the Creator either out loud or silently only and how I feel in the heart internally, so what we need to do is to start connecting as much as possible as quickly as possible and to feel that we are, that we are in in order to bestow and then everything will work out fine.

46. S. (01:23:25) What is the Creator's will? How can a person feel what the Creator wants to give the created beings?

R. How does a person feel that the Creator gives to the created beings? He needs to connect to all those created beings and then together with them, as their representative, to send to the Creator and ask for them from the Creator and then he will feel and understand what the Creator gives them. He needs to participate in that very action and to invite that action and then he will attain its essence, its essence and that's how he'll connect.

47. S. (01:24:24) If I feel myself in a bad state but I count on the friends, so I have to add my state to them. What is that thing I'm supposed to add to them when I'm supposedly in a bad state?

R. You can add to them your effort of connecting to them and as much support as possible.

48. S. (01:25:00) The more we will advance so we'll discover more things in the friends that will be more difficult to agree with?

R. Of course, of course, there we’ll take knives and we’ll really want to start slaughtering our friends. Sure there will be different such states, and we already, now, you can forget about it, but to understand that everything that we see in the friends comes from our desire to receive, that is still that all the evil is still immersed in it, and we need to discover it and correct it.

S. In such a state should I agree with the friends with my eyes shut even if my mind is crying out no? So where should I get the forces?

R. Only by supporting the friends can we reach states that are corrections. A person does not perform the correction by himself. It's impossible but that trusts in everyone that he's connected with everyone then he has the ability to perform some kind of small correction by himself, meaning inside of him, but on condition that he's connected to the ten.

49. S. (01:26:44) It's scary to perform a transgression and the punishment goes to the whole world because we determine the whole world. So how do we check correctly if the will to receive isn't confusing us?

R. In that we're doing it in our tens. If we can connect in our tens and in that to see the correct future of the world and of human society of families of everything then we'll be able with our actions to also correct the world.
